I just recently discovered your yarn, so with the way my luck goes you will be packing it up and doing something else now. Can’t tell you how many times that has happened to be.
I love love love the way you get your inspiration for yarn – from photos taken and various points in life. In my mind this puts you at the top of the yarn stores because it personalizes the yarn.
Sunshine yarns do theirs that way also, but I like yours better.
Do you accept photos from people for inspiration? Do you take into consideration a specific colorway someone might want?
sure. E-mail me through the site expressionfiberarts.com and we will take care of it.

Hi Chandi,
I want to begin projects for gifts ( new to crochet, about to learn how to knit) but am not sure what’s yarn is washable…unless all of the yarn is by hand…? A friend saw me making a baby blanket and had a complete temper tantrum saying she wants one too (yes, this is a grown woman in her early 60’s – never too late to awaken your inner 2 year old!). Would your cashmere silk yarn with your sweet cat’s face work for a “blankie”? And if you have any pattern recommendations, bring it on!
Any suggestions for crochet patterns using the “mystery bag” yarns. Have 4 – 400 yard sock weight yarns in different colors..
Very beautiful, BTW. Just don’t want to start something and run out of yarn before finishing..
Just received my box of Merino yarn to make the Crochet Roving Rug. Cant wait to get started after I finish with the Christmas projects that I am in the middle of. I am so excited about this pattern.
I just want to say THANK YOU for your easy to follow videos on knitting and crochet! A few weekends ago, out of the blue, I decided that I wanted to learn how to knit. I just finished my first scarf! I can’t wait to get started on my next project!
Hi Chandi!
I love your videos! I’ve been following you on youtube for a while now. You have introduced knitting to me in just the right way because I also crochet, and your left handed style has helped me a great deal. I’m still a beginner knitter, but I’m enjoying it a lot more since I’ve watched your videos. I have adjusted my style already to suite me, I, for some reason, knit the pearl stitch more with my left thumb because I can’t seem to get use to holding the yarn the same way you do. Maybe it will come later. LOL anyway. I won’t bore you.
Thanks for the videos and your website. God bless you and happy new year!
Your designs and yarns/colors are and inspiration !!! I wish there had been yarns and designs like yours when I started knitting.I am self taught 9 45 years ago) when I was trying to knit sweaters for boy friends and myself so we would have sweaters to complete our skiing apparel.
I have just started knitting again in the last year and was wonderfully surprises and excited when I found your website. Can’t wait to tell the ladies in my knitting group about your site. looking forward to you blogs. Thanks a million.
No, it is not a scam. If you didn’t receive the e-mail after checking out, you can log into your account on the site and click completed orders. You will see the download link there.
Hi Chandi, i want to leave a reply about the yarn I bought from you but I have not received it yet. We gave to pick up our mail and we have not gotten to the mail boxes since Friday so maybe it came today. Hubby is going to check for me later as I cannot grt around today. I am so excited to receive it.

Hello Chandi. I recently got your Free Palette Shawl Knitted Pattern. I won’t be starting it just yet as I am brand spanking new to knitting! My question is this, in the pattern you used five different solid colors, but could I use 5 skeins of your Tea Party Superwash Merino Silk Pearlescent Worsted yarn? I love the combo of those colors and I am hoping that they would flow all together, but I wanted to ask a pro first! Thank you in advance!
Quick question. I made the champagne cowl ( sent you a pic I’m sure you remember). Now I am attempting to do a second one but I am using chunky yarn instead. This time it’s Loops and threads Charisma yarn. MY question is do I need to adjust the 200 stitch count? I cast on 200 and two rows later had to take it off the needles because I made a mistake and it seemed so much longer. If I should adjust do you know by how much? 150 stitches? 100? THaNKS much
Hi Chandi,
I went to get in the Sept/Oct. giveaway online and after I left a comment it said it was already closed? Really? It is only Oct. 17th? If so when did it close?

Hi Chandi! I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your lovely site, blog and shop! I have a small business (spa) and you have helped inspire me to take the leap and take more time for myself and my other passions. Thank you so much for your positive and gorgeous vibe!! <3
Your yarns are stunning. I can wait to spend some time browsing the blog and trying out some of your patterns. What I have seen so far you have some elegant patterns. Nicely done Expression Fiber Arts.
Ms. Chandi,
Thanks for bring so much beauty into this world. I love artistic people and love to watch the joy and happiness or the pause for thought that is brought about by creation. I consider that yarn you make to be beautiful and I know some people will say it is a craft and not an art but my soul tells me that when I see something and I feel it so deeply inside that it brings up a memory or a dream or an inspiration that I am seeing art. Thanks for doing that. I hope good karma follows you and helps you to continue to create.
Hi
I downloaded mother of pearl shawl, I am a new knitter , this shawl is knit flat meaning we do not join in round but did we have to turn the work for right and wrong side.
Thanks

Help! I have 2 skeins of your fabulous Merino Silk Pearlescent Fingering Yard in “Mountain Air” and need some ideas of what to make with it. I can knit and crochet although I am much better at crocheting. Appreciate the assist.
Terry, yes, just delete one of the patterns from your cart so it only charges you once. If you continue to have troubles, please contact us via this link:http://www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ Thanks! Chandi
Hi! Thanks for all the help in learning to knit with your very helpful youtube videos! My comment is “Dudes like to knit too!”
I have 3 daughters, and my wife crochet’s. So, when my middle daughter (9) announced she would rather knit than crochet I decided it was homeschool dad’s obligation to learn so I could teach her… Well, I got hooked!
Anyways, would love to see more patterns geared towards guys.
I’ve got a beautiful Aran sweater that cost me a lot of money. I would like to be able to learn to knit something like that, although might need to work up to that skill level! So, maybe a couple of manly sweater patterns?… I like working with wool yarn… Seems a little more manly somehow!
Thanks Chandi!
I’m new to knitting and crochet. But i have to say watching your videos is so helpful. i can’t really follow the direction in many other videos. but all of yours are very easy to follow and i’m working more complicated crochet patterns now! Do you have any videos or suggestions with using Bernat chunky yarn? i’m trying a new concept with both knitting and crochet but it’s like trying to knit a slippery, thick spaghetti noodle…lol
I just received April 2018 Insiders Yarn Club yarn. I was under the impression that I would receive a pattern with it. I ordered Rainstorm and The Last Unicorn but I don’t know what patterns I should use. Help. Pat M
Chandi,
You are truly a color artist! I am a Dyer, but can’t compare to you. Your colorways are KILLER! (In a good way!)
Thanks for the inspirations
Linda
I stumbled onto your video as a beginner and you have such positive energy and are super funny! Thank you for the lightheartedness and the fabulous designs!
I recently purchased four skeins of Amal fingering yarn in the colors amaze, flow, epitome and infinity. These were for a shawl that was shown in these four colors . I cannot find the shawl to get the pattern. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name. Is there anyway you can help me find this project? Thank you
I love all your patterns. I’m still a newbie, but dud the undulation shawl. You only have a few crochet blankets… I would love to do a large throw or more in your fabulous yarns. Crochet though… then I’ll try knitting again.
Would like to download your lovely Mother of Pearl Shawl Pattern. I am unable to do this. Please help
Send us an e-mail through expressionfiberarts.com and we will be happy to walk you through the process. Thanks

Yes, that would work and I always recommend hand-washing and laying flat to dry.

I’m trying to get the pattern for the Robin Hood knitted hat……..what do I do to get it? It looks adorable!

I figured it out. 150 stitches with the chunky yarn is almost the same size as the 200 with thinner yarn. I measured so it’s all good.

Soft yummy (or sturdy) rosy pinks are my veryveryveryvery favoritest color ever. It looks good on me, but mostly I just love it for itself.
