Hello, my sweet friend! Tell me, is there anything better than a fun, colorful, beginner-friendly scarf? What if it also had sleeves, so you could wrap yourself in cozy comfort and style it in all sorts of ways? Today, I have just that kind of pattern to share with you, and I have a feeling you’re going to want to knit one for yourself, too! Keep reading for all the lovely details!

Soirée was designed by J. Miyo. When asked about her pattern, she said, “Soirée is a sweater scarf featuring simple lace stripes down its length. The lace accents add some elegance to the piece, making it a perfect accessory to wear over anything from a cocktail dress to an outfit with jeans. The scarf is knit flat lengthwise, from sleeve to sleeve. The lace has a simple four-row repeat and would be a good project for someone looking to learn and practice basic lace techniques.”

This is an Adventurous Beginner level pattern that is perfect for knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include K2tog, P2tog, CDD, Ssk, and Kfb. This pattern includes written instructions, as well as a schematic, and comes with a video tutorial.

The Soirée sweater scarf is knit with our dreamy Dewy DK yarn. It’s perfect for items you want to cherish for years or share with a loved one as a heartfelt gift. Dewy DK is a beautiful yarn that’s luscious and supremely soft with a gorgeous drape, amazing structure, and a subtle gleam. This yarn is a blend of 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, and 10% Silk with 250 yds/320 m per skein.

Our sample was knit with colors: A) Crown Chakra, B) Cloghaun, C) Lupine Love, D) Blush Brush, and E) Sparkling Star
Dewy DK. You’ll need approximately 147 (179, 211, 232, 250) yds / 134 (164, 193, 212, 229) m EACH of Colors A and E and 211 (264, 305, 338, 390) yds / 193 (241, 279, 309, 357) m EACH of Colors B, C, and D. The sample shown here is a size XS, modeled on a 34″ (86 cm) bust.
