Hello, my sunny daffodil! I have two versions of a stunning crochet pattern to share with you today, so I hope you’ll keep reading to learn all about them.

Adorn was designed by Janet Pippin. When asked about the pattern, Janet said, “Adorn is a simple yet elegant design. It can be made in a large wrap version or a smaller scarf version. Adorn uses the treble crochet stitch throughout, which is separated in sections by half double crochet rows that are adorned with glass seed beads. This pattern has an easygoing row repeat. The beadwork and color changes make this a perfect project to customize to your style.”

“The stitch combination, which is paired with a lace yarn, provides excellent movement and drape. The ruffle edges of each piece bring the design to life even more. You will be proud to adorn yourself with this beautiful accessory.”

This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is for those crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Skills include stacked treble crochet, treble crochet, half double crochet, foundation single crochet, and adding beads (optional).

Both versions of Adorn were made with our gorgeous Alpaca Silk Lace yarn, which is a heavenly, dreamy blend of 50% Baby Alpaca and 50% Mulberry Silk that’s warm and soft with an incredible drape and a shimmery glow. Hand-dyed in radiant, dazzling shades and wonderful for cozy wraps, soft sweaters, and treasured accessories. 604 yds/552 m per skein.

The shawl sample shown here used our Reticent Hues Alpaca Silk Lace kit and used approximately 1680 yds (1536 m) total [Color A: 589 yds (539 m), Color B: 515 yds (471 m), and Color C: 576 yds (527 m)].

The scarf sample shown here used approximately 789 yds (721 m) total [Color A: 604 yds (552 m) and Color B: 185 yds (169 m)] and was made with colors A) Elegy and B) Pink Pearl Alpaca Silk Lace. You’ll need one skein of Color A and one skein of Color B.

We filmed a video showing how to work the stitches and crochet this pattern from beginning to end. Take a look!
