Hello, beautiful soul! Today, I have an adorable knitted sock pattern to tell you about. These sweet socks are knitted from the cuff down and are perfect for sunny Spring days. I hope you’ll keep reading to learn all about them!

The Jonquil socks were designed by Kayla Baldwin. When asked about the inspiration for this design, Kayla said, “Let your feet bloom in style with the Jonquil Socks! This delightfully simple, lace knit sock features an all-over eyelet pattern that looks like a field of delicate flowers. The easy-to-master lace knitting pattern is formed with basic stitches, including knit, yarn over, and knit two together. Knit these socks in subtle solids or variegated yarns, and watch the sweet, floral motifs bloom. Both beginner sock knitters and experienced knitters will love creating this delicate design.”

This Intermediate level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting socks and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include the ability to follow charts or written instructions and work decreases and yarn over increases.

The Jonquil socks are knitted with our Sincere Sock yarn, which is a delightfully soft, fingering-weight treasure that feels like a gentle hug in your hands. Spun from a scrumptious blend of 75% Superwash Merino Wool and 25% Nylon, this yarn offers that perfect balance of cozy softness and lasting durability. No scratchiness, no fuss, just pure comfort! It’s machine-washable (although we always recommend hand-washing your projects), and the way it soaks up color? Absolutely gorgeous! The shades are vibrant, rich, and radiant. The Jonquil socks come in three US women’s sizes: Small, Medium, and Large, which correspond to finished foot circumferences of 7 (8, 9)” / 18 (20.5, 23) cm. The sample shown here was knitted with our Early Light Sincere Sock yarn. You’ll need one skein of Sincere Sock yarn to knit any of the three sizes of the Jonquil socks or approximately 204 (246, 300) yds / 187 (225, 275) m total.

The pattern includes written instructions, as well as a chart. The instructions are written for DPNs, but can easily be made using Magic Loop, small circulars, or your preferred needle style for knitting in the round.
