Hello, my sweet blossom! This week, I have a wonderful treat to share with you! After we released our super popular, knitted Conjure blanket, our crocheters asked for their own version, and here she is!

Incantation was designed by Patricia Liefeld. When asked about this design, Patricia said, “Incantation is the crochet version of the knitted Conjure blanket. This blanket is easy enough for beginners who want to practice basic stitches and maybe learn a few more, while still keeping an advanced crocheter engaged with a variety of stitch combinations. Incantation consists of simple stitches of single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet, with some extended single crochet and puff stitches added in for texture. The yarn used is a chunky weight made of baby alpaca and fine merino wool, which provides the right amount of snuggly warmth.”

This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is perfect for crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include puff, extended single crochet, alternative double crochet, and lace pattern stitches.

Incantation was made using our Limited Edition Enamored Chunky yarn. This yarn is a sumptuous, 6-ply blend of 70% Baby Alpaca and 30% Fine Merino Wool. It is deliciously warm with a velvety smooth softness. 150 m/164 yds per 100 g/3.5 oz skein.

The sample shown was made with four skeins each of colors: A) Illusion, B) Spell, and C) Howl and used 1,670 yds/1,527 m total: A) 588 yds/538 m, B) 537 yds/491 m, and C) 545 yds/498 m.

Be sure to order all you need for your project because once this yarn is gone, it is gone!

Tim and I made a video showing how to work each section, including all the stitches and stitch patterns. Take a look!

The pattern contains written instructions only.
