Hello, Beautiful One!
Have we got a shawl pattern for you! Check out this lovely, lacy, floral gem:
Ondinea is a triangular shawl designed by Janica York Carter. It is a crescent shape, knit from the top down, beginning with a modified garter tab. The sample was done using 4 colors in a kit we call Majestic Water Lily Hues, but the shawl can be done in one color, or gradient/ombré fashion. A perfect light and lacy shawl that you can dress up or wear casually.
Have a watch! We have filmed a video tutorial for you on how to work this shawl:
The sample shown features our Pearlescent Fingering Weight Yarn in a kit called Majestic Water Lily Hues. 1 skein each of 4 different colors. You’ll need about 825 yards of Pearlescent Fingering yarn to complete the same size as shown. With the kit you could knit two of these lovely shawls!
Pearlescent Fingering is 50% superwash merino wool and 50% mulberry silk. Beautifully soft with a lovely drape and subtle shimmer from the silk.
