Hello, my treasured fiber friend! This week, we have a gorgeous crochet shawl for you! This shawl is another pattern inspired by the novel, Pride and Prejudice.

Pemberley is a beautiful shawl pattern that is perfect for any season of the year!

This crescent shawl begins with a simple stitch pattern that radiates out to a pretty lace edging. The colors chosen give it a soft, understated elegance. As a Jane Austen fan, I could easily imagine it as an ideal shawl to wear during a misty morning stroll through the grounds of this handsome estate.

The majority of the shawl is worked in rows of single crochet mixed in with a row of half double crochet and an extended double crochet spike stitch. The extended dc spike stitch blends the alternating colors of the shawl.

The edge pattern contains no special stitches and should be workable by an advanced beginner.

Designed by Jane Vanselous, this lovely shawl is made with our Luster Sport yarn. It is shown in colors: (A)Allegory, (B) Old Photographs, (C) Foreshadow

You will need 1 skein of each color. The sample shown used 1,079 yards total.

We worked up a video showing you how to make the edc, esc, and spike cluster stitches, as well as how to work the border. Take a look:
