Hey, beautiful soul, and welcome! So glad you made it today.
FUN news! We have a new pattern for you – this is the 5th in our series of Etude shawls, in which you learn a new skill each time.
Etude no 5 (designed by Emily Walton) will teach you how to work this gorgeous knitted on twisted rib cabled border. Whew! Isn’t it a beauty? And simpler than it looks. We have the written version here and a free video version for you below so you are sure to succeed! This knitted shawl pattern is suited to an advanced beginner. Nothing too complex here, but the final result is total gorgeousness!
Have a watch and let me know what you think! I hope the video is helpful! The hubs and I love creating these for you.
We chose to make this with 3 skeins of our Twisted Tweed Sport weight yarn in colorway: Fisherman. I adore this muted navy blue – it reminds me of the sea and brings up such lovely, nostalgic feelings!
