Hello, my beautiful friend! Today, I have a lovely, lacy knitted sock pattern to tell you about. Knitting these intricate socks will keep you engaged, while the finished socks will keep your tootsies warm! Keep reading to learn all about them!

The Foxtrot socks were designed by Pam Meek. When asked about this design, Pam said, “My daughter loves ballroom dancing. She loves dancing everything from the classic Foxtrot to the spicy Paso Doble. It is important for her to keep her legs and ankles warm while warming up and practicing, so leg warmers are ideal for this purpose. This sock pattern was adapted with love from a leg warmer pattern I made for her.”

This Intermediate level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include sock construction, chart reading, lace stitches, and Kitchener stitch.

The Foxtrot socks are knitted with our luxurious Crema Sock yarn, which is a dreamy blend of 70% Superwash Merino Wool and 30% Mulberry Silk. This base takes the dye incredibly well, which results in fabulous, hand-dyed shades. Crema Sock is a 4-ply yarn that is bouncy and long-lasting, as well as soft and squishy. With gorgeous drape, excellent structure, a soft hand, and a subtle glow, this yarn is lovely for socks, shawls, sweaters, accessories, blankets, baby items, and so much more! Truly, this yarn has it all with 350 yds/320 m per skein!

The Foxtrot socks come in three sizes S (M, L), which correspond to approximate leg circumferences of 7” (7.5”, 8”) when blocked and un-stretched. All sizes are approximately 6” long from the cuff bottom to the top of heel flap, and the leg length is adjustable.

The sample socks shown here were knitted with Endearing Emerald Crema Sock. You’ll need one to two skeins of Crema Sock to knit these socks, depending on whether any modifications are made.

The pattern includes written and charted instructions. You must know how to read a chart to knit this pattern.

Download the Foxtrot socks today! I hope you LOVE them! Let me know in the comments below what color you’ll use to knit your socks.
