Hello, beautiful soul! Today, I have a fun and colorful crochet poncho pattern that I think you’re going to enjoy! Keep reading to learn all about it!
Agate Shoulders was designed by Wardah Mdh. When asked about her pattern, Wardah said, “Inspired by the combination of optimism in the colorful traces of an agate stone and the strength it holds, I made the Agate Shoulders poncho to resemble hopefulness and toughness that always push us forward. This beautiful poncho can be worn over a blouse or a dress for a beautiful, layered and snuggly look.”
This Intermediate to Advanced level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with crocheting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills include standing double crochet, front and back post stitches, color changes, using yarn bobbins, seaming with slip stitches, and working into stitches two rows below current row.
To crochet Agate Shoulders, you will need ten skeins of our Limited Edition Luminous Tweed Fingering yarn. Inspired by enchanting, literary adventures, this unique yarn encourages you to sink into your own delightfully magical crafting journey. Supple, draping, super soft, and pillowy, this fingering-weight yarn features silk neps that vary in color from skein to skein. It’s a super fun yarn that is the perfect blend of luxury and coziness and is unlike any tweed yarn you’ve ever seen! Use this dreamy yarn for heavenly shawls, sweaters, tops, hats, mittens, blankets, and more! Luminous Tweed Fingering is made of 45% Baby Alpaca, 45% Merino Wool, and 10% Mulberry Silk and has 402 yds/367 m per skein.
The sample shown here was crocheted with one skein each of colors: 1) Binding Legacy (light brown); 2) Chronicle (dark brown); 3) Ink And Imagination (teal); 4) Epic Tale (aqua); 5) Firelight Fable (burgundy); 6) Flicker (red); 7) Legend (pink); 8) Storyweaver (white); 9) Ember Spell (grey); and 10) Starlight Saga (blue).
Be sure to order all the Luminous Tweed Fingering yarn you need for your project because once these Limited Edition colors are gone, they are gone for good!
