Hello, my bright light! This week, I have two wonderful treats to share with you. The first is this refreshed, knitted blanket pattern, and I hope you’ll read on to learn more!

Our Blanket For You pattern was originally designed by Emily Walton, but has now been refreshed and updated by our design team. About this blanket, Emily originally said, “A thick, cozy throw is the perfect weapon to battle a tough winter. With yarn held triple and an easy repeatable stitch pattern, this blanket will work up quickly and keep you warm while you’re knitting it, as well as after! Let the simplicity of each stitch remind you to find gratitude in the moment and always look for the best in each situation life presents to you.”

Secondly, this blanket was originally made with 12 skeins of our Dewy DK yarn in color Still of the Night. However, the refreshed version of this blanket was designed to showcase our new, Limited Edition Restore DK yarn.

Just like its fingering-weight twin, Restore DK is a unique upcycled yarn. When our mill spins up luxury yarns, there are often leftover fibers. So we asked them to gather their fiber tidbits and spin them into this yarn base, so nothing goes to waste. And even better… because it’s an upcycled yarn, we’re able to offer it to you at a super low price! YAY!

Restore DK has gorgeous drape from the alpaca fiber, stability due to the wool, and a subtle glow thanks to the Viscose. Restore DK is a blend of 36% alpaca, 37% wool, and 27% Viscose with 219 yds /200 m per skein.

The updated version of this blanket is shown in colors: A) Invigorate, B) Initiative, C) Mimic, D) Ingenuity, E) Thrive, F) Artistry, G) Elevate, H) Dynamic, and I) Beam.

The sample shown used three skeins of Colors A and I, two skeins of Color D, and one skein each of Colors B, C, E, F, G, and H.

Be sure to order all you need for your project because once this yarn is gone, it is gone!

This Beginner to Adventurous Beginner level pattern is perfect for those who are just beginning or have knit a project or two. Concepts include knit, purl, and changing and marling colors.

Tim and I made a video showing you how to make this blanket. Be sure to take a look!

The pattern contains written instructions only.
