Most anything mixed with silk or cashmere!!! Oasis is by far my fav base.
I love all fabrics except wool…I’m highly allergic to wool
I’ve really only worked with wool and wool blends – except for when I was first starting, then I only used acrylic. Wool and acrylic are each great for certain purposes, but I really want to start working more with non-wool natural fibers like linen, cotton, and silk. I’d love for you to create more of those – your beautiful yarns and colors have spoiled me for others 😁
Wow, those are beeeeeatiful!
My favourites are natural fibres: merino, bamboo, viscose, alpaca, cotton and so on 😊
I love merino wool/alpaca silk blend. So soft and with a blend of pure luxury. For me the texture of the yarn and how it feels while working with it, is part of the therapy and just as important if not more so than the finished product.
I love all fibers. Cotton would be wonderful for warmer weather
I love a mix of wool and silk, it’s so very soft. For summer I enjoy very much working with cotton and sometimes even that feels too much in the desert 😊.
I love working with cottons for summer items and things for the kitchen and wool for warmer things. Bamboo is nice, too. I haven’t tried silk or alpaca yet…they are on the to do list.
Natural fibers, Wool,silk…😍
Oh my goodness! All of that yarn is gorgeous! I could make so many gifts for family and friends with a win fall like that! My grandchildren would be first on my list of recipients 😊
I love wool, especially superwash, to keep my grandchildren warm and to make it easier on their parents when doing laundry. I also enjoy bamboo and cotton, actually any natural fibers, when I have the extra money to splurge on yarn. But, I’m not picky, I will use any yarn someone generously gifts me or my grandchildren pick out.
Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity!
Best of luck to all!
I love every kind of yarn.
I always make something of it.
From cardigan to sweater or cuddly toy or bag.
I like wool and silk fibers:).
I love will silk blends the most!
On winters wool is my fav, but I prefer silk. And summer is coming 🤩
So pretty! I’m not super picky as to what fiber I’m working with, but when I treat myself, I get merino wool.
What a fabulous giveaway! I love silk, cotton, linen, bamboo, and merino. Wool is fine but not suitable for our warm climate.
These colors are so vibrant and stunning! I like plant based fiber when I can, but I also love the feel of alpaca
I agree with you. Anything with Cashmere gets my vote. This is an amazing giveaway. Thank you.
Alpaca and silk are my favorites
Wool!!! Alpaca !
I like cotton, and silk. Can’t use wool I break out in a rash. But, any of the other yarns are wonderful. I knit and crochet hats for elementary school children. I have been doing it for several years now. My sister has been making hats for more years than I. She enjoys seeing her hat on the school children.
Love the bright joyful colours in this month’s giveaway! Regarding fave fibres: I love working with wool, especially merino, but I also really enjoy bamboo as a fibre – it’s sooooo soft and lovely on the fingers!
Well, my favorites are cashmere and alpaca. But, I don’t mind adding some new favorites with those mesmerizing colors 🤩
I love all the natural fibers, but when I shop for yarn I tend to go for something with cotton. It’s much cooler and more wearable in warmer climates.
I enjoy knitting with all natural fibers: merino, silk, cashmere, cotton, alpaca, linen, bamboo, and more. I don’t buy synthetics or novelty yarns typically.,
But love shopping for new yarns for
New projects after I finish my WIPs!
I love working with wool with silk. It is so soft and makes whatever I’m making feel great on your skin.
Anything you make is wonderful! I think I have a little bit if everything by now. 😀
I love working with cotton yarns, but the feel of anything with silk is scrumptious and always wanting to wear it.
Thanks for this beautiful giveaway. The colors are gorgeous!
I love to knit almost everything… I just love to knit! But if I had to choose, anything mixed with silk.
Have a nice day!
I love different yarns for different items, but lately I’ve been enjoying working with wool.
I love wool! It’s so versatile!
Thank you, Chandi, for another super give-away!! I absolutely love your camel and silk yarn.
I love most fibers, especially a nice soft wool, cashmere, alpaca or silk…
Honestly, I’m not that big on cotton, I prefer yarns that have a bit more stretch.
I love working with baby alpaca, merino wool, bamboo and cashmere. I have yet to try silk but would love to one of these days!
There have not been too many fibers that I have determined to never use again. But, cashmere and baby alpaca are some I have really loved so far in my crochet journey. Would love to try some of your exquisite yarns. 💜
I enjoy using super wash merino and I recently tried a bamboo/cotton blend that I like. I’m looking forward to trying some cashmere.
I love all natural fibers! My projects dictate what type they prefer, as well as the colors.
Thank you so much for offering so many choices!
Wow the yarn this month is gorgeous. So bright and ready for spring! I’ve not experimented with a lot of different fibres yet, and some day in the distant future I’d love to make a quiviut scarf. I’ll just stick with using wool and cotton for now, and always prefer a silk blend when I can afford it 🙂
Anything soft! Starting to look more at non-wool blends for those with allergies though ,and that Moonbeam is high on my list of ones to try.
I’m not even sure which is my favorite . It’s always the color that speaks to me that I choose. These colors are beautiful!!!
I am really loving working with the wool blends like Mirage Sport and Pearlescent Worsted.
Love working with natural fibers. These colors are amazing!
I have only tried acrylic, wool and a nylon blend. I always open to trying new fibres. Love the content x
Oh, the gorgeousness in this giveaway!😍
My favorite is silk – for the sheen. Close second is merino wool. Oh, and baby alpaca!
Baby Alpaca is my favorite, but I’d love to try your Oasis camel/silk. Thank you for the chance to win it
I’m obsessed with cashmere and bamboo, they are so squishy and soft to work with
Beautiful yarns , as always
I love both wool and silk fibers and use the blends of these often, have worked with cotton yarn, but not one of my favorites!
My favorite is merino wool. Once I discovered it, there was no turning back.
Mix merino and alpaca or silk. Love those, so soft.
Alpaca is so soft and warm, the silk is pure luxery .⁸
My favorite is merino wool. Soft yet works up beautifuly.
Beautiful color scheme for April !
I love soft, silky yarns- lately I’ve been using lots of cotton for summer knits! Love the colors in this giveaway – thank you so much!
Oh, my, what exquisite colors, Chandi!! Holy moly, could I make something so gorgeous with all that fabulous yarn!! Thank you, as always, for your generosity and your brilliant ideas and patterns. Sending love from Michelle in Texas!!
Hello, Chandi
A great bundle again!
I live working with wool, alpaca, cotton.
I’ve never tried silk.
Still exploring fibers, however if I’m trying new techniques I’ll use cheaper acrylic until I can master the technique
My favorite types of fiber currently are bamboo/cotton blends, Merino wool, and most blends. I’ve yet to try an alpaca, camel, cashmere or silk fiber so I’m really excited to order some one day (or win some!). I love when a fiber just floats across my hands and hooks.
I love merino wool!
I love wool mixed with bamboo, silk or cashmere.
I’m happy to work with just about anything, although older acrylics, 100% unmercerized cotton, and alpaca aren’t as nice on the hands for knitting for longer periods. A nice, squishy wool (doesn’t even have to be absolutely soft, just smooth and well-plied for beautiful stitch definition) is my absolute favorite! I’m very interested to try working with flax.
Merino wools are lovely for softness and wide availability, but for garments, nothing beats cotton in my book–I love its matte surface.
My favorite yarn has got to be the blend of wool and bamboo. The next is Superwash Merino wool like Malabrigo yarn.
I’m a big fan of silk blends.
I don’t know that I’ve worked with enough different fibers to really have a favorite. Honestly, if it’s soft, chances are that I’ll love it. I like the luster of silk, too, so I guess if I absolutely had to pick a favorite, I’d pick silk. It’s really hard to say for certain, though.
I love cashmere and wool! What beautiful colors this month!
So many lovely fibers to pick from… I love cotton/bamboo blends and 100% alpaca, but wouldn’t say no to a lovely soft wool.
For everyday things, I like cotton best, but soft soft wools of all sorts are fun to work with, and along with silk just feel lovely to use!
Superwash merino wool, silk, cotton, cashmere, and bamboo are my favorite fibers to work with.
Silk double knit yarn leaves a beautiful drap and strong fiber and colour
I love all yarns, but I particularly love cashmere and silk, especially in a blend. Your yarns are sooooo beautiful. It is my mission one day to make one of your beautiful patterns with these. Unfortunately, the exchange range and duty to send them to South Africa is prohibitive at the moment. I will just have to come to the US to order some 🙂 Thanks for all the inspiration and aspiration.
I normally love silk for the drape on shawls, but I am enjoying cashmere the most right now
Wool is my favorite, especially BFL with nylon for making socks. I learned how to knit just so I could make the wildest, most colorful socks. A decade later, still love knitting wild and vivid socks!
What happy colours those are! I love working with cotton and silk and anything soft and natural.
I love all fibres, it is part of the process, to match a pattern and a yarntype, that will bring out the bedst of both.
I’m a cotton girl but I’ll try anything
I love the feeling of wool, particularly merino. A merino/silk blend might be my favorite go to.
I am in love with ultra fine Merino. Swoon!
I love bamboo for its qualities of softness and drape.
Inlove with cotton yarns ❤️ being in a tropical country has its drawbacks, especially there are no cold seasons. It’s summer yearround! For this, cotton yarns are my go-to, as it is not warm and easily accessible
This bundle definitely brings the spring vibes 😌 🥰
My favourite yarn base is merino or merino blend, and recently I also enjoy working with alpaca blends.
Gorgeous colours for this months giveaway! My preference is wool or wool blends.
Hi Chandi, I love to work with merino wool, wool and silk and cashmere. Have a good day
I love soft merino wool, it’s so cozy and fluffy and warm … But I like also cotton, especially for toys or summer blouses, because it’s cool and soft.
Love your yarn. The colors are you bright and wonderful and the camel and silk combination would feel so soft and luxurious. I like to knit with almost any fiber.
I love all your yarns that have silk in them. Stellar!!
Alpaca is my favorite
I love the flexibility of wool, the shimmer of silk (or tencel), and the softness of alpaca.
There are times and uses for all the fibers, including acrylic and other synthetics, and I use them all. But I prefer animal fibers over plant or synthetics, and I’d have say alpaca is a favorite. It’s just got that extra little something going for it that nudges it ahead of wool.
I love the gorgeous yarns in this months giveaway contest! My favourite fibre to knit is 100% silk yarn for its sheen, strength and blocking ability in lace knitting. Thank you for offering us a monthly yarn giveaway. Would be amazing to win🧶
I love anything with wool or silk!
Love the colours in this giveaway. We are just coming into winter In Melbourbe Australia. It would be so lovely
to knit something in the bright colours here. I love all the yarns I’ve bought from Expression Fibre Arts so far but the cream silk blend is positively my favourite. I made a really beautiful batwing jumper in it and get so many compliments.
Hello, fellow Australian. (south Australia). Id love to buy to try but not sure what.
I love trying all sorts of different fibres, but particularly love using wool and silk. The yarn in the giveaway looks wonderful!
I love a nice soft cotton. For baby gifts I often use milk cotton which is generally softer than acrylic and available here (Bangladesh) at a reasonable price as it is imported from China. The colors of your hand-dyed yarns are stunning!
Wool and Silk blends are my favorite so far but I haven’t had the opportunity to work with very many other fibers and blends so this giveaway is perfect!
I love working with the buttery bulky yarn base! It feels so luscious and squishy and I can’t keep from petting it haha. I haven’t branched out much past working with merino blends though and I would love to experiment with bamboo and silks. I just worry about it not having the safety net of stretch. I wonder if there’s a good project for me to experiment with O.o
I love natural fibres of all sorts, but I think linen and silk are my favourites.
I have a weakness for alpaca yarn.
I love silk and merino yarn. So lovely to wear.
I love any merino base (merino/linen, merino/silk) And a very close runner up is a cashmere base (cashmere, cashmere/silk)
But all and all – I love natural fibers!
Love Silk.
Eri
Muga
Mulberry
Blends
Also dear cotton
How can I choose just one? I do love silk and wool.
I have been crocheting for almost 2 years now and my current favorite yarn is cotton. This is probably due to the fact that most of the projects I have completed so far have been done with cotton yarn. As my crocheting skills improve I look forward to working with new and different types of yarn.
Love knitting with wool but I am starting to love combining wool with other fibers. Thanks so much for the fabulous giveaway this month.
I love working with wool but if I’m making something for a baby it’s cotton or bamboo.
My favorite fiber is baby alpaca, but I basically love any yarn that is not cashmere. I am horribly horribly allergic to Cashmere.
I like wool a lot. I enjoy working with yarns where silk is part of the blend, too. My favorite vegetable fibre is nettle, which has a wonderfully soft drape and sheen. Thank you for giving us these opportunities to dream about such lovely and generous assortments of yarn!
My favorite type of yarn is anything but I mostly work with worsted weight or dk yarn… I am not opposed to the others though.
I love working with a lovely soft wool, although I haven’t tried all the fibres yet
Hi Chandi! I can’t use wool, allergies in family. But bamboo, cotton, silk, linen and acrylic (in that order) make my heart sing. I also like blends which gives me some access to wool. Love your newsletters, and your encouraging words. Persevere sweet lady! Judi
I really love camellid yarn mixes
I love working with wool, and being surrounded by the beautiful textures and rich colours of the various fibres definitely has a calming effect on me – it’s my happy place!
I have been loving merino, these colours are amazing. I know I won’t win, but one can only dream. God bless
These are so beautiful and I love that the Buttery Worsted is included! My favorite types of year usually include some percentage of silk. I just love the silkiness it adds. I like natural linen combined with silk, the texture and sheen of those together makes lovely projects.
Thanks again for another wonderful giveaway!
I love all kinds of natural fibers. Each has its own qualities and i would love any of them🥰
I do enjoy working with all kinds of fiber as it brings life in various ways to that particular project. However I’m a sucker for all things super soft, light and fluffy.. 🤭 things that are perfect for winter or spring evenings.
Beautiful bright colors for April giveaway. I like like silk or cotton fibers.
.
The colours in this months giveaway are all my dream colours. Love them all, in my case life is too short to wear beige. I love love love alpaca silk dk, especially castaway hues.
I love working with cotton and bamboo mixes. But definitely love me the feel of silk-merino too!
Wool silk blends are my fave
My favorite fiber is mohair.
Any thing silk! And fine cotton threads. I like to work with a 4mm or smaller hook.
I like wool most of all. Cold winters in Canada.
My favorite fiber is wool, especially Peruvian highland wool.
My favorite fiber is anything that feels silky and soft, I don’t have much experience with all the many different fiber combinations, but definitely pick ones that aren’t itchy againsty skin🧶☺️.
Adore the spring colours of these yarns! As for my favorite fiber, I’ve been working with tensel yarn a lot lately and I’m really liking it. It’s silky and lends to a finished project that feels really nice against skin. No itchy shoulders on chilly spring nights! haha
I love all fibers… but I am totally in love with the Ephemeral Fingering… peruvian cotton/lyocel… I am using it right now and it is amazing.. super soft and lovely to work!!
Natural fibres all the way for me, with maybe a little bit of synthetic for socks. I have mainly knit with wool though and would love the chance to try some other fibres. Thank you for the opportunity to enter your generous giveaway!
I haven’t had the chance to work with all the different yarn types, so currently my favorite is sockwool.
And cotton-viscose blend for the summer.
Hello! Thanks for the chance. I’m new-ish to the fancier yarns. I think I am liking the blends with cashmere and silk., but I also got a cotton and bamboo that is just lovely! I’m excited to try out one with the camel mixed in. It sounds so fascinating! I’m a crocheter and I wanted to thank you for having so many crochet patterns on here too! Your color mixes are beautiful. Thanks!
I love merino/nylon/cashmere blends! So soft and long lasting!!
My fave fibers to work with is a bamboo-cotton blend!
I like natural fibers in general — silk, wool (especially merino), and alpaca in particular.
I really enjoy working with a soft cotton or cotton blend. This is a beautiful giveaway.
Anything cashmere
🙂
Hi Chandi, what a beautiful colors! I love the combinaties of purple and yellow. About my favorite yarn, wool and silk are favorite, I like cotton less. I prefer working with 2, 3 or more ply yarns.
My favorite is definitely the wool yarn 🫠 cotton is my second choice. But I’ve bever had a chance to work with silk yarn yet
I stick with the less expensive yarns. Recently I found out that I am allergic to wool. Most of my projects are acrylic and blended fibers just not wool!
I love working on lacey wilk shawls. they’re so lovely to wear.
I love wool the most! But I like silk blends as well.
J’adore les couleurs elles sont magnifiques.
I am LOVING the alpaca and mulberry silk blend. So soft and light yet incredibly soft!! Delicious.
Hi, I love it when the yarn contains some % of silk as it always elevates the other fibers.
Oooo such bright colours !!! My favourite will have to be silk…if I had the money. I will buy just that! 😊. Have a great month ahead Chandi 🙏🏽
I haven’t used a variety of your yarn yet since I just joined March 2023, but I really like the yarns I’ve used that had either silk or cashmere in them. Your colors are always so beautiful and sophisticated which turns into beautiful things to wear and wrap up in. You’re my #1 shop when I need or want yarn.
Choosing a favorite fiber is difficult,
In still learning so much about different ones and love so many of them. I would say that cotton blended with wool might be one of my top choices.
My favourite is a blend of wool and alpaca 🧶
anything with cashmere is Great. Thank you for your giveaways
Greetings from germany
Wool/ cashmere /silk
So far I’ve only used wool and cotton, but I’d love to try silk! I’ve been wanting to try the oasis…..love these colors!
I prefer to knit with wool, or silk, but I also like some of the bamboo yarns. I don’t enjoy working with cotton or acrylic. And I’ve never had a skein from you that wasn’t a pleasure to touch and knit with.
I love wool, so soft to knit with and lovely to wear!
I love it all
I love blended yarns, wool, alpaca, silk. They feel good on the fingers. What a great giveaway, super generous!
I like breathable yarns, so natural fibers are the most comfortable foe me.
Wool/silk blends are my favorite!
Love to knit and wear wool blend with cashmere or silk. So soft and light but still warm.
Please and thank you❣ silk
Love all fibers my favorite fiber is Merino Wool, love cotton, bamboo, silk, cashmere… etc…. my least favorite fiber is alpaca only because it itchy to me, otherwise I wouldn’t mind it…. 🙂
I love all your amazing colours. I love working with the softness of wool or cashmere
I agree with Joelle – Oasis is my favorite too!
I don’t know yet what my favorite fiber to work with is, but I look forward to making many beautiful projects in order to find out.
Wool, silk, I think are my favourites, but that can change depending on the project!
Love working with wool, but learning to work with cotton blends this time of year.
Oh my, such gorgeous fun colours, I like wool blends and cotton, I have never tried cashmere or silk blends it would be heaven to do so… pick me, pick me my sister is an avid beautiful knit and crocheter and is unwell in hospital I would love to share with her, fingers crossed. thankyou for the oportunity to enter.
Lovely spring colors! My favorite fiber to wook with is wool, mixed with other fibers or by itself. Thank you for such lovely giveaways, I have loved the pictures of them with the flowers they look so beautiful! Happy spring!
I love merino wool in dk weight or worsted weight. I love your colors.
Ah such beautiful yarn!! My favourite would be wool, but I’d like to try silk too!
I am still discovering different fibers. I have loved working with the yarn in this years crochet blanket project.
I love knitting with wool, but I’m one of the unlucky ones who can’t wear it. So if I’m making something for me, then I use alpaka or yak.
My most favorite yarn base is merino wool. Love the softness next to my skin!
I love working with wools/blends and some of the finer cottons. I’ve never worked with silk or alpaca but hope to expand my “horizons” as I try some different patterns and textures this summer.
I have only worked with a few… i love merino and silk blend.
My favourite yarn to work with is merino wool
Silk is so nice to work with, and the colors glow. But it’s usually wool for me – silk has a price point that demonstrates how luxurious a fiber it can be.
My favorite fiber depends on the project. I am enjoying working with buttery sport right now on the mkal.
These are beautiful and definitely give me all the heart eyes with those gorgeous colors! I love working with a nice merino, but silk is lovely, too. Anything that glides smoothly over the fingers is a yes in my book.
I think merino is at the top of my list, but I’ve recently been working with tencel and I find it a dream to use 🥰
What gorgeous happy colors in this giveaway! I particularly love working with fiber combinations, e.g. merino-lyocell for shimmering robustness, alpaca-silk for softness and warmth, cotton-silk for summer and sensitive skin, etc.
I love cotton blend yarns! They create a beautiful light drape. I recently purchased your baby camel/mulberry silk blend and have yet to work with it, but it looks & feels beautiful, so may become my new fave! 😊
I just absolutely adore merino wool. I may flirt with other drivers, but I always come back to merino. Lol. I’ve found that a silk and merino blend is just the most luxurious combo! It feels so wonderful against the skin and is a pleasure to work with. <3
I love cotton (especially PIMA) and bamboo or alpaca mixed— I am in the deep south, so anything I make out of wool tends to be sent up north to friends and family there!
My go to yarn is usually wool and especially merino. I have only recently knitted some cotton tops for my granddaughter and realise how lovely it is to work with, never having used it previously. You learn something new every day.
Love a good merino linen blend or any blend with cashmere. This months colours are so bright and springy. Absolutely beautiful!
I love Merino with silk, cashmere.
Love these colors!!!
What a fabulous colour explosion!
I have to admit, I’m having a moment with Alpaca/smooth/brushed and Suri…sooo delicious. 😋
The fiber I like best depends on the project I am working on. For shawls and wraps, I like a silk blend for its luxurious drape. For sweaters, nothing beats a cashmere blend.for colder seasons and linen for warmer seasons. I like 100% Shetland wool for Fair Isle hats, BFL for scarves and mittens. MCN (merino/cashmere/nylon) is my favorite luxury sock yarn. Alpaca, mohair, yak, and qiviut are all favorites for making gifts for fellow yarn enthusiasts. While I will use it for specific projects, I am not a fan of superwash wool or 100% synthetic fibers. Thank you for your generous giveaway!
I’ve mostly been fond of merino blends, such as blended with cashmere or silk, although I’ve got a baby yak blend that is amazing that I’m still searching for the right pattern for. Just as long as it’s not acrylic or acrylic blend – those squeak when you use them and don’t feel as nice, despite their washability.
I love love the silk! But also any of the silk mixes.
My favorite out of all I have tried from your products is the mirage sport. It is so soft! And not just texture, I love the softer coloring too.
I really love bamboo and cotton !
Good morning, Chandi! My favorite fiber is merino, but I’d love to try working with cashmere someday. Have a glorious day!
Cotton. So versatile and generally inexpensive. Certain wool is also a great alternative.
Love wool. Make mostly socks but hoping to branch out. Absolutely love the bright colors of these fibers.
oh, wonderfull yarns, lovely
Love wool. Make mostly socks but hoping to branch out. Absolutely love the bright colors of these fibers.
I love the bright colors!
There are so many wonderful fibers, but my favorite is baby alpaca wool. It’s so soft! I usually end up with cotton, since it works for most of my projects.
I love bamboo yarns as well as alpaca and cotton!
Hello,
I’ve spent two years placing my name in the pot…never won. However, i have spent thousands on your yarn. Here’s hoping that my bad luck finally changes.
I prefer the yarns with some yak in them. It is such a versatile and soft yarn. I’ve made gloves and sweaters and blankets with it.
Hello.
I love most types of yarn or wool but my all time favs must be silk blends and bamboo. Like working with strands of clouds!
You inspire so many of us with your words of encouragement and kindness! I love many types of yarn fibers, including quality wool, cashmere, silk, and bamboo but the colors also have to be what I am feeling at the moment and since I maintain a primitive home, they must be warm and inviting!
I love plant fibers, including silk, cotton, bamboo
I love luster sport but also really like merino or soft cotton. It depends on the project.
I love all fibers and work mostly with wool, but if I had to choose a favorite it would be silk for the shine and luxurious feel.
Such a blooming beautiful selection! Love wool for winter weather and cooling cotton in the warmer months. 🩵 🧶 🩵
I enjoy working with wool! Thank you for running this awesome giveaway!
Beautiful giveaway and photography!
I recently found a wool -acrylic blend that I can use for ANYTHING. So I’m liking that best these days.
Wool is my preferred fiber, in Merino or other similar breeds, for the next to skin wearability. Adding silk, for luster, and nylon, for strength, also make great combinations.
I also like working in linen or hemp for light summer tops.
I love wool ❤️
I love to use cotton – if it’s soft as I live the feel of it against my skin. I’ve just learnt to knit socks and they are especially nice in merino
My favorite fiber is silk! I love the shimmer!
I also love the yarn bases and colors of this month giveaway!! All so perfect for spring!
I enjoy fingering weight and sock yarn. Like bamboo cotton blend and merino. But don’t have experience with many others except acrylic.
Hi Chandi and EFA Team! I love natural and organic blends. 😊👋🏝
My favorite type of yarn is all of them. I find myself using mostly acrylic and wool mixes. If it feels soft I use it.
I love the yarns with a bit of silk in them. 😍
Beautiful yarn! I enjoy working with cotton blends, bamboo and merino super wash.
These colors are beautiful.
I have never used any hand dyed yarn (I think you called then hanks).
I do love the softness of the merino wool yarn for the winter hats I have been making.
I haven’t worked with very many fiber types but have loved working with both cotton and wool.
(That moment when you realize a whole month a has flown by) *opens email* Wait, it’s April?!?!? I’m still mentally stuck in February! Well, I’ve only ever had experience with wool types, merino wool, mostly. Which I love! But I think my favorite is baby alpaca, It’s so soft! I hope you have a beautiful day, Chandi!
Hi Chandi, thank you again for this wonderful giveaway! I love the cushiony bouncy energy of wool blended with a plant based fiber for added softness and luster.
I love the sheen of silk.
I love working with cotton fibers because they make shawls that do not have static electricity.
Wahoo What a gorgeous color palette, it’s like being in a wonderful garden. All these yarns are gorgeous.
I love knitting merino, mohair and silk. (sorry for my english)
My favorite fiber is alpaca. That was my first “real” yarn. My daughter gave me some beautiful alpaca yarn for Christmas several years ago.
I love to crochet with bamboo yarn. It feels so nice in my fingers while I work. 😘
Love a soft and scrumptious wool ……though I am a total fiber addict.
I love working with merino and silk
Wool (superwash & non-superwash) and cotton are my go to fibers. I also like to work with wool-linen and cotton-linen blends.
Such beautiful yarn! As always… 😄 All of Chandi’s yarns are amazing!
Oh to pick just one favorite is hard to do! I love merino wool but also have worked a few projects with oasis fingering and it is scrumptious!
I Love using cotton and always feel good about myself when I can find recycled yarn.
Gorgeous colours! I work in wool, mostly – love merino, pure or blends. For some reason, all my active projects right now are in a merino/shetland blend … Silk is lovely, bamboo, too.
This month’s giveaway is fabulous, and I would love to win. My fav fiber is wool or is it alpaca or maybe silk. Oh just put them all together and you have my favorite.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such beautiful yarn! I am a wool girl. Even in the summer, I am wearing wool ankle socks.
So far, my favorite yarn to work with is silk. I made 4 Sweet Pea shawls for a wedding. The brides is pure silk..GORGEOUS! Heirloom quality!
Wool and silk are by far my favorite fibers to work with.
I love all kinds of wool – nice sticky Icelandic or Shetland wools for colourwork, MCN for socks, washable merino for baby items – they all make me happy.
Silk items are my favorite things to use! Just wonderful and easy on my hands.
Silk is SO luxurious! Alpaca Silk Lace has such a lovely feel – both while working with it and while wearing it!
The colors in this month’s giveaway bring joy after a rather grey winter (even though I do like the color grey!).
Love the buttery worsted and crema and resiliant sock yarn. Yummy
I love working with cotton but thanks to you I met the yak and fell in love.
I haven’t used many types of yarn, but merino wool is my favorite indulgence I’ve found so far.
Still figuring out which fibers I like working with most, but i love the feel of a nice wool blend. I’ve been trying to diversify by trying many different yarns lately!
I like trying out all types of fibres, depending on what I’m making and what type of drape I’m after for project. So I don’t have a favourite.
I love Alpaca with its softness and halo of fibres!
The silk blends are my favorites. But I *love* working with all your bases. I’m currently working 2 MCALs – one with the recommended colors and one with the Birthstones collection. I can’t wait to both finished projects <3
I love weaving kitchen towels and dishcloths with cotton. I’ve never knitted or crocheted with silk before, but I’d love to try it!
Love it all! More of a color person. Love woll, but limited time to wear so guess silk and cotton!
I like most yarn bases but natural fibers are my preferred base. I enjoy the blends quite a bit 😊
This collection definitely defines Spring, the season of renewal. Beautiful yarn that will be knit into wonderful garments. Love it all
I personally love how cool and soft to the touch bamboo is! Perfect for light summer wear!
Chandi – love your color schemes, and your patterns are so interesting, Of course silk and cashmere are wonderful to work with and to wear, but we need merino to wear too. It’s all wonderful!
I enjoy wool. I like the wool with the silk too.
The colors for the giveaway are just fabulous. Welcome to the joy of Spring!!
I am still learning and getting to know all the fibers. Sooooo many to choose and so many I’ve never felt. So far I would say Merino Wool. It’s like holding butter while you work.
I’m just starting to explore various fibers. I’m working with merino Wool now, which is delightful. I’m looking forward to trying other fibers to find my favorite!
I don’t have a favorite fiber. I have tried several types and enjoyed them all.
My favorite is Merino/Silk Blend, but I love a good Alpaca Silk Lace 😉. In summer I love cotton yarns. So many yummy blends, it is truly hard to pick just 1 favorite! 😊
My favorite is merino, but I’ve heard such wonderful things about bamboo that I can’t wait to try it!
I love to work with Merino and bamboo, but I will work with any fibers if it is a gorgeous color and abfun pattern.
I am mostly work with the wool; however, I love bases that include silk.
I would be beside myself if I won. I would go crazy deciding what to make. Thanks for the chance! 😺
I love to work with Merino and bamboo, but I will work with any fibers if it is a gorgeous color and a fun pattern.
I love a nice cotton!
Cotton is probably one of my favorites as it is good for any temperature. I haven’t had a chance to work with silky or smooth so I look forward to trying them one day.
Lovely colors…they say “Summer Is Coming” (to me, anyway)!!
I’ve learned to enjoy all the wool, and I’m doing my research for cotton/silk/linen blends for hot summer tanks & tees.
Wool is my favorite to work with😊
The softer, tue better! I love anything with silk or cashmere. I made a sweater with Oasis and ouf! It’s amazing to wear.
Oh my goodness! What beautiful colors. The best part are the fibers & different weights. So many different things to knit with all of this.
I enjoy merino wool or a good wool blend the best.
The colors are incredibly beautiful. I just want to see them arranged together and touch them. Knitting is such a sensory activity.
I’m a fan of Alpaca. Love the slight fuzz and softness in wearables
Definitely love any blend with silk added — Alpaca Silk lace, Oasis fingering, Cash silk — these are among my favorites. Oh! And Moongleam!
Mulberry silk and bamboo are my favorite yarns to work with!
Purchasing various types of yarn from your collection over the past couple of years has led me to fall in love with mulberry silk 🥰 . I l now occasionally purchased a hank of undyed silk and try dyeing myself- not great but the fun of mixing my own colors is a blast.
I love alpaca silk combos.
I haven’t used a lot of different bases, but if i had to pick one based on what I’ve worked with so far, I’d say wool and wool/silk blends.
I Love working merino for socks and cashmere for wrap merci
I enjoy all of your yarns but my my favorite is the. Silk blend for luxury, North DK for value and resilient sock since I am on a sock kick. I still haven’t tried all your blends but have loved every one.
Still experimenting with all types of fibers, but I must admit that I really enjoy working with silk blends.
I love working with alpaca and wool/silk blends!
This giveaway collection is lovely.
I just love fiber – I favor them all!
I love all fibers, but wool blends and cotton blends would be my favorites.
My hands prefer something wooly, but I love a bit of silk mixed in — but really, the ultimate decider is the color!
My favorite type of fiber varies by season – right now as the days warm up its cottons and silks, but when things start to cool off in fall its all the wools and cashmeres for me!
Such gorgeous colors !I love working with silk and bamboo.I mostly create dresses and tops for my girls so anything that feels soft and drapes well is most welcome. And easy on my hands too.
Such gorgeous colors !I love working with silk and bamboo.I mostly create dresses and tops for my girls so anything that feels soft and drapes well is most welcome. And easy on my hands too.
I prefer cotton because it can usually stand an accidental machine wash. lol I have been trying more fiber types recently though to test if it really is my favorite.
I have no favorite fiber as each one is unique and depends on what type of project that it’s to be used for. All of these colors are so wonderful after the greys of winter. Hope I win!!
I work mostly with wool, have done a few projects with alpaca, and love the opportunity to work with silk and camel!
I LOVE all your giveaways and would love to have the opportunity to knit with any silk, cashmere, etc. combination that Expression Fiber Arts offers. EFA products look so luscious. I mostly use acrylic but have also tried cotton and bamboo… and I am willing to try other products (wink, wink).
I tend to gravitate toward merino. And I also love anything blended with silk!
I love working with wool, but my mom is allergic to wool so I appreciate finding nice cotton or bamboo based yarns I can use for her.
The colors are yummy! A colorful garden of color ways! I enjoy working with wool and wool/silk blends
I haven’t had a chance to work with many types of yarn, but so far cotton is my favorite! It always reminds me of the potholders my grandma used to make. ❤️
Gorgeous yarns in April’s giveaway, the yellow is so cheerful and bright. I love and appreciate all fibers/yarns and my preference changes all the time, project to project. I’m never disappointed when silk is in the blend!
My favorite yarn to knit is a wool blend yarn in fingering weight.
Hi Chandi – and Happy Spring everyone!! 🌷 It’s so hard to pick one favorite type of fiber to work with!! I surprise myself when I say…..I was the most excited and pleased when I made a baby blanket out of a lovely cotton. It was just lovely!! I also loved working with Bamboo – it was SO soft!! I have so much to learn and experience about yarn; but so far, I’d say these are 2 favorites. I’m sorry I’m having a hard time picking a favorite – but so far… that’s what I’ve got!! 🤭 💕 😊
I am new to the world of fine yarn, but I am already drawn to marino and silk blends.
What a beautiful rainbow of colors in this giveaway. I love, love, love to work with silk. What a treat!
Love how generous this is! I’m currently making a cardigan with wool and I love how cozy it is!
My favorite is buttery bulky, I also like Dewy dk
Primarily, I’m a wool girl. But I also love a little silk or other fiber blended in for strength such as my Dewy DK, which I adore!
Those colors are gorgeous!! If I could pick any fibre to work with, I once had a single skein of cashmere/silk blend and it was beyond devine! I didn’t have enough to make anything more than a hat or small purse and so it sits in my yarn tote just so I can pull it out and feel it every now and then. 🙂
Merino wool is my favorite! My hands are so happy when I work with it….
Wow what a wonderful prize to win, I like most fibres, but I think merino is one of my favourites
I love anything that isn’t scratchy and doesn’t split when I’m working. What can I say? I’m easy to please. 😄
For crochet I can use anything. For knitting I definitely prefer wool (sometimes with silk!) It’s got enough give that it’s easy to work with, and if it’s good quality like BFL or merino it’s SO nice and soft and squishy <3
Super wash merino is my current favorite
April Yarns look so beautiful and Bright! I love anything cashmere! So scrumptious!
I LOVE the feel of silk yarn, even if it is thinner and usually takes longer to make things with!
Oh wow how very exciting Chandi!!!
There are so many fibres I like. But if I have to pick one , I’d say the silk mixed fibres is my favourite for sure.
I love the colors in this month’s giveaway! My fav fiber would be Superwash Merino Wool. I just love the way it feels on my needles!
I love all fibers, but especially wool alpaca blends. Thank you for the opportunity to share and enter.
Beautiful, thanks Chandi! 😊 I am new to working with anything other than acrylic and cotton and blends between the two for ease of care, but I think silk is super intriguing! I have tried Oasis fingering now, and love it!!
I am a total sucker for silk, alpaca, and camel. Getting a Fantasia wheel this month for my birthday, first big project for it will be to spin enough silk to weave a self dyed shawl for my mom.
Anything “sock” would make my day!
Wool is my ultimate favorite. Add some silk or cashmere to wool… I’m in heaven!
I honestly don’t think I’ve crocheted a fiber that I didn’t like! I do especially like cotton, believe it or not, as long as it’s soft.
Wool is my favourite as a sock knitter, but when I’m making shawls, a silk blend is so luxurious and lovely to work with.
I love blends- wool-silk, wool-linen, whatever. I feel like you get the best properties from each fiber, like elasticity from the wool and luster from silk, while counter balancing less desirable traits.
I’m new to fibers beyond acrylic, but I have always loved cotton for its versatility. I also love merino and alpaca, and well all the lucious fibers I have found.
Merino is definitely a favorite for me!
I like wool and silk yarn, very soft. Only have limited experience with cotton yarn, and seems to me sometimes it is not very soft.
Merino is my basic fibre but any fibre mix in a lace, fingering or sport weight is wonderful for thin sweaters. I love to use two strands together
Beautiful selection, looks like some might be in the mkal. Thank you Chandi
A wool, really any fur allergy influences my fiber of choice: Cotton.
My favorite fiber is EFA Alpaca Silk DK!! It is a dream to work with and makes beautiful shaws and sweaters!!! Love It!!
Love working with softer yarns. Silk is pretty lovely.
My newly discovered favourite yarn fibre is mulberry silk. I also genuinely love a lot of acrylic fibres out there.
Love wool
Just looking at these pictures puts a smile on my face and spring in my steps! Thanks as always for your lovely outlook on life, Chandi.
Such a cheerful collection of colors this month! I prefer natural fibers to crochet with, I primarily use wool and cotton. I’ve never tried yarn with silk in it, though I’d like to try it sometime!
I know it’s not the best fiber for winter in my climate, but I do love a good, soft cotton yarn. In fact, cotton is what I started knitting with. 🙂
I love anything that feel soft to the skin and not itchy! Alpaca, cotton, the camel yarn, cotton, bamboo….
I love working with Merino, Bamboo and Cashmere blends. My favorite though, Mulberry silk. I love the softness of the yarn as I crochet my heart away. I love making shawls and throws. I am currently working on a continuous granny square afghan. Fingers crossed that my name gets picked this month 🙂
I really love the camel and yak fibers and then anything with silk woven in is so soft and wonderful
I do love silk but of course it’s more costly. I mostly knit with Merino.
I love working with bamboo and bamboo blends. The strength and softness are perfect for the baby blankets I enjoy making for friends and family. With that being said, your resilient sock is my favorite base. It is so versatile and you always have such beautiful colorways.
Oooooo, the colors, the fibers……what could be more delightful than to have all those delicious hanks cascading down over one’s self. Makes me shiver just thinking about it. My fave fibers are those that offer the most drape for glorious shawls, those that insinuate themselves into the softest and plumpiest blankets. Oh gosh, I can’t decide for reals. I love them all♥️
What a lovely colorful giveaway!! I’ve always been a big fan of nice cotton yarns, in particular blends, since I live in the south.
I love all fibers and colors but my favorite fiber is cotton and cotton blends. The colors this month are AMAZING!!
Love your Camel silk!
Alpaca or cashmere for me …… oh so soft and warm.
I love mulberry silk blends. But to have to pick a favorite isn’t fair. I enjoy working with bamboo, silk blends, cashmere and the /merino blends. Then there is alpaca and wool blends in the winter time. I love crocheting shawls, afghans and have been delving into hats this year. I am currently crocheting on a continuous granny square afghan. Fingers crossed to being picked this month. 🙂
Wow! Nothing says spring quite like the beautiful colours in all these yarns.
I absolutely love the buttery worsted yarn. I’ve never worked with such silky softness before.
Sparkle DK … a little “bling” is always a good thing! My favorite!☺
Silk, as it is so soft and I have no allergies to it.
I love anything with silk!
Wool
I love working with wool.
I love fine weight wools and a wool/silk mix.
I am very new to knitting and have only worked with wools, I am looking forward to trying silks and linens.
I love you fingering weights. I use them for light weight shawls and scarfs.
Hello, My favorite is wool and I also tried a yak blend and I really liked it.
I love your Oasis base!! I love working with cashmere and mulberry silk
I guess I love wool blends, but specifically merino with yak. But silk is amazing and I love mohair, too. XD
I love wool or cotton and their blends though I have not really experimented with a lot of fibres.
On a kick with cotton blends lately! Especially bamboo and silk – such great drape.
I must admit that cashmere is my most favorite. Nothing beats that feeling of softness.
I’m a new knitter still working with the different fibers. My favorite so far is the Oasis!
Loved working with the alpaca and silk combo.
I love your silk yarn so much. The colors are always beautiful and the yarn is so soft.
Thank you for such wonderful yarn to work with every day.
Silk would be my choice. I want to thank you for your cheerfulness. Your uplifting greetings always make me smile. You are a treasure!
I love bright colors and soothing colored yarns. I am enjoying merino yarn but at this point, anything but arcrylic.
I love cotton and silk. Wool bothers me but Alpaca seems fine. I really enjoy your inspiring emails. Thank you for that.
Hi Chandi. Your colors are amazing! I like working with merino, alpaca, cashmere, and silk. There are other luxury fibers that I have not worked on like camel and yak but I’d love to try them!
These colors are gorgeous!!!
Oommmmgoodness….eeek. those are just amazing….my favorite colors..bright and beautiful…fingies crossed😚
..
My favorite fiber is the Yak Silk blend. It is so soft and drapes beautifully! LOVE
I like working with wool and wool blends but also use a lot of cotton for dish cloths and such.
I especially enjoy merino and alpaca wools. I love the drape of silk but it’s more difficult to work with so I save it for extra special projects.
I am still learning what fibers I like, but so far I’ve been enjoying blends a lot! The feel of multiple textures is really nice to me.
Congratulations on your win, Marcia! 🥳
Good morning Chandi, such a beautiful selection of yards for April’s giveaway 💗
I am fairly new to crocheting so using acrylics mostly now while I am learning, but would love to try silk or a silk blend, looks like that would be amazing to work with and wear!
Have a wonderful day, your messages always make mine! 🥰
I love working with wool and wool blends. I also enjoy alpaca, silk, and luxury fibers that I can’t afford. I love lots of color, especially jewel tones.
My favorite? Wool, especially merino, but I also love silk. The softer, the better!
Beautiful collection for this giveaway! I love so many of the fiber bases from EFA but I think my favorite so far is the Crema Worsted (70% Superwash Merino Wool and 30% Mulberry Silk). Combining the fibers seems to bring together the best outcome. This is such an scrumptious (dare I go so far as to say scrum diddly umptious?) yarn. I’m loving working with it for this years’ MCAL.
BAMBOO =)
I love cashmere blends.
Lovely merino wool is my absolute fave, but it’s so fun to experiment with others. Isn’t that how our stashes get so, um, ample?
As a newbie, I enjoy merino wool so far, but I’d love to try more fibers! I have yet to try silk or cashmere, and that Oasis Camel Silk sounds incredible!
These are so beautiful!!! I love working with wool – and really any animal fiber. The squishier the better!!
I love the softness and shine of merino superwash wool and mulberry silk. It feels amazing to work with and the results are gorgeous.
I love working with wool.
I gravitate towards wool or a blend with a plant fiber for interest. I enjoy different textures because I’m more of a process knitter!
Love working with most any natural fiber – tend to work mostly with wool because I live in a cold climate….
I love merino wool, alpaca and recently I crocheted a baby dress with bamboo. It was fabulous to work with and came out so soft!
I really like the strength of camel fiber. Oasis is my favorite, however, a heavier weight fingering with camel would be pretty awesome too!
Wool and silk are best for me!
I love working with all your soft squishy yarns, but I love to wear mostly cottons
I love all your yarn!! My favorites are wools, some silks & bamboo, some acrylics. I tend to lean towards wool blends. I go based on feel first, then looks 😁
I have recently started a project using for the first time your oasis camel silk yarn. It’s so soft! So far, I really like it. 🙂
I love the gorgeous wool colors , especially the pinks and roses. Just the best!
I love non-superwash wools and silky fibers.
Love the colors as always. I really like using any yarn combined with silk.
I work mostly with cotton or cotton blend because of skin disorders/allergies in the family, but also because it’s such a versatile yarn.
I love working with alpaca and with silk, but I’ve been working with cotton, linen, and bamboo a lot recently, so I can’t leave them off the list!
I mostly like acrylic yarn because I gift most things I make, that way they don’t have to worry about washing items.
The colors are amazing! I have 8 projects waiting to start, there aren’t enough hours in the day!
I prefer merino wool and bamboo.
Cotton is my favorite fiber to work with because it’s so soft.
Such beautiful spring colors…they lifted my spirits!
I love knitting with a mulberry silk yarn, or a mix of silk and merino. The experience of knitting is made so much more pleasurable with a lovely yarn and the fabric drapes beautifully ….but, a pure merino is lovely too if it is evenly plied.
Thanks for your generosity each month, Chandi!
I like all fibers but I get the most use out of bamboo,, silk, and linen since I live in a warm climate. All of your yarns are superb!, have enjoyed every purchase and each project! Have a wonderful and happy day 😄
I love wool blends and cotton yarn since I come from a tropical country.
Being new to crocheting I did not know the difference in yarns. OMG I do now. So far have loved all the new yarns. I hope to continue with using these wonderful yarns.
Bamboo is one of my favorites. It’s very soft and so easy to work with. It just glides on the needles.
All of the yarn bases of yours that I’ve tried have been a knockout, but I don’t think you can beat the alpaca silk. It’s heavenly! <3
I love all fibers, but my absolute favorites are silk and bamboo. Their drape and feel is exquisite.
Merino wool is my favorite- it works for so many projects and is so bouncy and soft enough for my sensitive skin.
I love a good superwash wool–I am not great with things I have to wash carefully. I’m still learning how to work with cotton, because so many things I worked with before made my fingers dry out. But I’m finding new cotton blends that are so lovely!
I love working with merino wool – if it’s mixed with silk or cashmere even better.
I love most fibers! I especially enjoy sock yarn/DK yarn!
I haven’t tried a lot of different types of fiber, but I did really like the feel of a Merino/Mulberry Silk blend I got from Knitcrate once.
I love silk – alone or mixed.
Would be so very grateful to win anything from your lovely shop. I would love to try your cotton or bamboo or silk yarns. If I were to win something with wool, I could share those with some friends who can work with wool.
Color me happy! What a beautiful array of color!
For Florida where I love the bamboo and cotton mixes. In Colorado wool and alpaca have to be my favorites. They are so wonderful to work with.!
Touch of silk fiber content is always a good thing imo! ^_^
Tried and true acrylic, bamboo, silk, wools.
I love all of your fibers. The ones with the silk blend are exceptional. It is a job creating with your yarns.
Bamboo and silk blends are nice
I love most fibers, depending upon what I’m knitting, and the season. I do hope that you bring your Province Fingering back soon!
I love all of your yarns! It is a JOY creating with them!
I like merino wool the best, because I feel it can be worn in many weather conditions and it is easy to knit.
I like a mixture of fibers usually but I have to say my favorite base is still Cashsilk. It’s just beautiful and bright and so easy to crochet plus it’s soft and silky and holds up well! This months giveaway is absolutely divine Chandi! Thank you! ❤️
I am so in love with the vibrancy of these colors. I love working with wool and cotton.
I LOVE SOFT! Merino and silk, cashmere, cotton, as long as it is soft. That is why EFA is the only yarn I have ordered on-line. I want to know it will be soft.
Beautiful colors. I love knitting and crocheting I just love crafting anything to keep my hands and my mind busy.
These colors are gorgeous! Favorite fibers? Alpaca, merino, and angora. But best when they are part of a blend. Bamboo is another one. It honestly depends on the project. Who is it for, etc. To be honest, all of the yarns in this month’s giveaway are perfect. Again, love these beautiful colors! Amazing!
Wool is the best fiber – merino is my fav – and singles are the most fun to knit with 😊
I love most any yarn, my favorites are your yaksilk, alpaca silk, oasis is absolutely divine!!
My favorite yarn to work with is whichever one I’m using right now. I am inspired mostly by the style of the pattern I’m working on. The colors, the different stitch patterns I just love it all.
It’s not so easy to pick one favorite but the one that pops to my mind would have to be silk!!!
I love silk and silk blends… I actually blame EFA for this, because I hadn’t used any silk blend yarn before y’all. 🙂
What gorgeous colours! They make me smile. I love all of them! Really enjoy working with silk and wool (merino).
I LOVE cotton & bamboo! The pearlescent fingering is beautiful and luxurious and never felt nothing like that!
YES, ALL THAT HAS SILK AND CASHMERE ARE THE BEST TO KNIT WITH. LOVE THE NEW YARNS IN THE GIVE AWAY SO WONDERFUL TO MAKE THINGS AND GIVE TO OTHERS GOD BLESS EVERYONE AMEN
I love working with merino wool for it’s boingyness, if that’s a word. Also love the feel of silk and cashmere. Thank you for your generosity and your beautiful encouraging words that I read every day.
Thank you, so very much, Chandi, for you generosity. Stumbling onto Expression Fiber Arts has been such a pleasant adventure. Love, love, love the yarn, patterns and especially all the fellow crocheted & knitters & readers.
My favorite type of fiber is your YAK SILK!! I just finished Adorn with it and am in love. It holds warmth wonderfully and is so soft. I even love the very faint yak scent.
I haven’t yet tried your camel Oasis fiber, but I can’t imagine I will like it more than the yak!
Silk blends are so luscious to work with, these gorgeous hues of soft spring are so warm and fresh. Light a new spring day!
I love all of of merino blends that are so soft and squishy
Every natural fiber mixed with wool. I’ve severe allergic reactions to synthetic fibers, so is all natural for me.
I like cotton, bamboo, silk or merino. I shy away from anything with a halo; I don’t care for the fuzziness.
Oasis Camel Silk and Yak silk are my favorite 2 yarns! I wouldn’t turn away Moongleam Fingering or Pearlescent Fingering. I have too many favorites!
I really enjoy working with yarns that have more than one type of fiber – it adds to the finished result. I love fingering weight as it is so versatile!
Merino, yak, cashmere, silk– I love them all!
I haven’t tried many fibres but I quite like using alpaca wool blends. I’ve always wanted to try more expensive fibres like silk etc. Love all your content x
Hardy wools in natural or complex color blends make my heart skip a beat. But, everyone needs a hug. For that a smooshable fine animal fiber with a little silk and maybe a mohair halo is irresistible. My first experience with Oasis just hit the needles last night, and I’ll admit to staying up an extra hour because I couldn’t put it down! Love at first squish!
Thank you, Chandi, for inspiring and encouraging us and for sharing your artistry❣️
I love, love, love working with wool! It’s so cozy to knit with, and I feel like I get the best tension when I work with it.
I have enjoyed each type of yarn I’ve worked with so far. They have all brought unique qualities to my projects; amazing colors, incredible textures … I still have fibers to try and I’m really looking forward to it.
Love wool & alpaca & anything with silk in it
My favorite fiber that I’ve ever worked with is a bamboo/acrylic blend of yarn. The yarn was so soft and silky and worked up well for knitting. I think if I was to ever work with 100% bamboo yarn, that would probably be my new favorite.
Merino wool or cotton are my favs
I do a lot of work with cotton, mostly kitchen towels. I’ve only recently started working with wool and other natural fibers, and I love how much more forgiving they are than acrylic or cotton! The crema worsted is a dream!
The colors in this month’s giveaway are gorgeous!! I love all types of fiber, but if I had to choose a favorite fiber to work with, I’d have to say cotton and/or a cotton/bamboo blend.
I like natural yarns – wool (especially alpaca) and silk.
I love all of the fibers, but I love to work with wool the most. My favorite base is your Luster Sport. It makes the best baby blankets! The colors in this giveaway reminds me of Easter eggs:)
I like cotton and silk. I like to crochet and our yarns are so beautiful.
My favourite yarn is a cotton/polyacryl blend. I haven’t tried out many different types of yarn yet, but anything soft is great!
I’ve really enjoyed working with silk fibers. There is a different kind of feeling when my fingers are working with it. I’m moving away from acrylic blends to explore the more luxurious fibers. I do love others such as mohair, wool and cashmere blends.
I have loved everything EFA- so soft and squooshy. But so far my favorite is the mirage sport we used for 2023 MKAL. It just flowed off my needles.
I don’t have a favorite type of fiber. They all have their place in the world of project types. But I do love the feel of a bamboo cotton mix. My main concern is whether or not it is soft against the skin…I have very sensitive skin
Nothing beats a good wool and silk blend, but I have also enjoyed dabbling into regional fibers like camel and opossum that have turned out divine! ♡
I love wool and silk combos, so beautiful. I have yet to try the Oasis base and it’s next on my list.
Right now I’m in a wool phase, but cashmere is looking good
I love bamboo and high quality wool!
I love to knit with yarns that have silk or cashmere in them. And the yellows in this month’s giveaway are calling out to me! They’re gorgeous!
Silk, cotton, lightweight blends. I haven’t worked enough variety to say my favorite!
I think it depends on the project. For gifts it’s definitely silk – so soft and squishy. For toys for the kids it’s acrylic – durable and quick.
Your Crema Worsted is my current favorite. It has such a luxurious feel as I’m making the latest MCAL project.
Hello, these are such beautiful colors. Acrylic is the base for me at the moment. Practicality is what I’m looking for in my knitted projects at the time. I need to be able to machine wash and dry. I do plan to save some money and knit with vicuña wool some day. That’ll be my ultimate splurge gift to myself. 😝
Superwash wool is my favorite! Something soft and easy to care for.
Love nearly all of your wool selections, and Sport and DK are my preferred weights. I’ve been thinking about trying some linen yarns for summer projects but not sure how drape will be. Thanks!
Love working with all your fibers. Your colors are beautiful.
Hi Chandi….This month’s giveaway are gorgeous colors! My favorite fiber is a cotton blend. Marino wool & silk blends are my favorites too when I can purchase them on occasions.
I honestly do not have a favorite, I like all yarns just as long as they are soft to the touch. Bamboo is one I like or even a hybrid of if I have to go a favorite.
I like all-natural yarns. Your yarns give me so much pleasure and inspiration. I love holding a skein in my hands and feeling the softness!
My favorite yarns would include silk. It is such a pleasure to work with
I love cotton
Silk for sure.
I’m just starting to look at higher end yarns. To date, I’ve only used acrylics with small amounts of wool or hemp blended in.
The colors are stunning and so perfect for Spring! My favorite fibers are Merino wool, rustic scratchy wool, silk, or a blend of wool and silk, silk/linen. The only things I cannot work with is
alpaca and mohair because I am very allergic to them.
I prefer wool for most of my knitting.
I really enjoy silk! Currently working on a lovely summer shirt made with a blend of cotton and silk.
I like working with blends of alpaca wool. All of your yarns are fabulous to work with!
Cotton and cotton blends are my favorite fibers. Soft, breathable, so comfy!
I’ve worked with a lot of yarn types over the years but I really like the shine and softness of silk and cashmere.
These are beautiful! What a generous giveaway! Personally, I am a big fan of soft, luxurious merino wool at the moment. Have a lovely day!
Wow what an amazing giveaway of the most gorgeous yarns I’ve seen to date. I’ve been dying to get my hands on at least one and am saving up for it but this this would be a dream come true. The yarns look so lucious and beautiful flow which is what I love to see. I can’t say what it feels like but only in my mind does it look like putting your hands on a cloud and being able to just pass your fingers through them. Korney but that’s how I feel every time I look at one. :).
I’m on a very limited budget, with that being said I can’t afford to buy finer yarns. I use basic blended synthetic yarn from Red Heart. I love the Easter/Spring colors in this giveaway collection. It would be so great to work with them!
I love working with yak. It is proof that even the ugliest of creatures has a positive trait.
Thanks for offering this generous chance to win your beautiful yarn! My favorite fiber is silk.
I think wool right now. Silk is a little intimidating for me at the moment but that’s probably because I’m not very used to working with it.
My favorite would have to be wool – superwash merino, to be exact. But I do love other fibers as well! What a beautiful assortment of yarn treats you have for this month!
I love working with cotton yarn.
Wool blends or 100% wool are best for me. But any yarn that is “bright and beautiful” makes the cut!
That’s a hard question about the favourite, I love cotton or merino wool. I have never tried (despite being a knitter for almost 60 years) mohair or silk so I should try and change that at some point. These colours are just screaming spring to me, they are all beautiful.
I like to wear cotton and cotton blends. Cotton is therefore my favorite fiber. I am learning about others along the way,
I love ALL natural fibres – wool is first, silk and linen are close seconds…LOVE YOUR YARN! Your colorways are stunning!
I love a nice merino and also am a big fan of alpaca! My favorite colorway of yours, Chandi, is Alaska. It’s so gorgeous and mysterious! 💜
I love silk but I always feel so bad about using it for myself so I save it for very special gifts to others.
I absolutely love working with silk. It’s so drapey, so soft, and so luxurious.
Being a newbie, cotton is my safe choice. Im hoping to be confident enough soon, to try softer fibers like silk . 😀
I love cotton for crochet and (good quality, soft) wool for knitting! Cotton holds up perfectly for the bags and home decor I like to crochet. Wool is so lovely and springy that it’s a breeze to knit up, and the garments I create turn out soft, dreamy, and with the perfect drape.
My favorite fiber is probably a blend of silk and bamboo. It is so incredibly soft. Makes me feel magical wearing it.
Wow these colours are just so beautiful and spring like. I love knitting with wool, especially merino. A little bit of silk in it is always nice too.
I haven’t tried all fibers yet, but so far I really like wool blends.
Absolutely beautiful!
I love the wool/silk blends. What a beautiful collection of yarn this month. Fingers crossed!
Hello Chandi! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win these beautiful skeins of yarn. I’ve made one of your patterns so far (sweet pea) and look forward to making many more. I have yet to try your yarn but I’m planning on buying a yarn kit in the silk very soon. I think it will be perfect for the shawl I’m making for a friend.
I love silk blends!
Silk, and cotton with merino 🙂
Goodness my favorite fiber. Merino/Alpaca blends, little silk tossed in is good too. Second organic cotton, or organic cotton mixed with organic bamboo oh the lovely softness! Thank you Chandi, for this giveaway!
I like bamboo and silk. They are so soft!
The Camel/Silk sounds wonderful!
All of the above. I really like blends. I live in a warm climate so use a lot of cotton and cotton blends.
I like all different kinds of fiber. It really just depends on what I’m making.
Hi! Oh I love working with a nice squishy fingering or sport weight merino wool. I love how easily it slides around my hook and defines a stitch. I also love working with a soft shiny bamboo because of how beautifully the fabric turns out.
I love most fibres but in saying that 100% merino is beautiful, but I have not tried them all yet, lol
I like both wool and cotton, but I’ve never tried silk! Once I tried something besides acrylic, I loved it, lol the fiber truly makes a big difference!
Love alpaca, cashmere, bamboo and silk.
Because I enjoy making things for new babies and mommas, I like all things washable. Softness is a plus as well!
I love merino and silk, especially as a singly ply yarn! It is so soft and squishy!
Oh those yarns are gorgeous!! I just finished a scarf for my husband using Beacon DK – camel, silk and lyocell. It is so silky and shiny and soft – I love it.
I love all fibers, but anything with silk is scrumptious.
Ooof fingers crossed, I love the Oasis base so much!!!
Ohhh, this yarn is luscious!!
I love all blends, but especially the softest ones! Wool, cotton, silk, they’re all lovely. What beautiful color choices! They are absolutely marvelous!
I love all your yarn colorways! It makes it almost impossible to decide when I’m making a purchase!
These are absolutely gorgeous🤩Actually, I like them all😄
I am, sadly, allergic to wool. But that doesn’t stop me from knitting! I absolutely LOVE all of your non-wool yarns. My favorite is the OASIS CAMEL SILK FINGERING yarn; I love how bouncy it is and how luxurious it feels. I also love, love, love ALLURE silk, MOONGLEAM, and EPHEMERAL yarns. I am currently working on a Moissanite Shawl using Ephemeral. If I were to win this gorgeous giveaway, I would gift the Wool yarns to my sister who also knits. 🙂
I love all fibers. Wool for the winter, cotton for the summer and silk any time of the year!
Chandi, thanks for offering this giveaway. The colors are outstanding. My favorite yarns to work with are silk, merino wool, and alpaca although I stray from these on occasion depending on my project.
I have some wonderful silk yarn from you – and I would love to have more!!
I love animal fibers! Cashmere is obviously a favorite, but merino is luscious
As usual you and your team have picked the most beautiful colors for this months give away.
I love primarily working with wool or a blend of wool. I like yarn with a little stretch and 100% cotton yarn drives me crazy because it has no stretch.
Most of what I make is wool, but wool-silk blends are amazing to work with.
I really love alpaca fiber, and when it’s mixed with silk it’s amazingly lush!!
I enjoy working with all natural fibers: silk, bamboo, linen, merino, cashmere, cotton, alpaca, and more
What an amazing display of vibrant colors! I also love working with natural fibers. Wools of all kinds and silks and cottons. I am new to natural fibers, I was buying inexpensive yarns, boy, you get what you pay for. You have a wonderful selection!
i love working with cotton and silk. i prefer bold colors to pastels, whatever the fiber type, so this giveaway looks AWESOME! 😀
Natural fibers, from rustic to soft, based on the project/pattern to guide my selection. I do love an Icelandic wool for cozy winter sweaters and cashmere, merino, linen, silk, or any of these in combination for garments and accessories worn against the skin.
Beautiful colors! Love working with wool and bamboo – any soft fibers!
Depending on what I’m making. Acrylic for stuffed animals and baby blankets, and natural fibers for things that are easier to wash: scarves, hats, gloves, cows, etc.
I’m with just about everyone else here – I don’t have a favorite fiber. I just love crocheting with whatever I have on hand, lol.
It is very hard to choose which yarn I like to work with because everything you do is wonderful and gorgeous. I would say I have enjoyed working with alpaca and silk especially to make shawls. I have also enjoyed using merino, so it is very hard to choose which is my favourite
I love knitting with anything soft – wool, silk, alpaca, or blends of these. I love spinning both wool and silk or a blend of the two.
Cashmere, alpaca, cotton, wool are my favorites.
Anything with cashmere in it is a dream for me! Love working with cashmere 🥰🥰
I work most with wool and cotton, but would occasionally splurge for cashmere!
I love all of your yarns. The colors are just beautiful! I can’t wait until I can get my hand on some!!
Alpaca and silks are my favorites 😉
I’ve yet to try camel and yak, but so far I love the cottons and superwash wools. My favorite EFA blends are Restore and Moongleam.
My favorite yarn tandem is wool with silk. Wool offers my projects the loft and body I love for cabled enhancements and silk offers the entire sweater a soft body-feel & inner luster.
I just love all of your yarns and I think I have tried them all. My favorite is any that are merino blends and sock weight. Works up beautifully.
My favorite is your Alpaca Silk Lace yarn. Although you have a lot of close seconds.
This is such a gorgeous giveaway! Thank you, Chandi! I love working will all types of fibers, depending on the project I’m making. That being said, one of my favorites is merino wool.
Wool is my favorite, but I knit with lots of different fiber types.
I love them all but especially silk
Oh how beautiful! Just like a field of wildflowers. I can think of a multitude of projects I could make with this bundle. I have been working on the Indivisible Crochet along, and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the Crema Worsted.
My top 2 favorite:
– WOOL, of all kinds as long as it’s not Superwash. MERINO, YAK, ALPACA ❤️❤️❤️
– COTTON and cotton blends, and LINEN! Wonderful for all summer items!
All yarn is good, the softer the better though! I wanna wear it and cuddle under it and touch it.
I usually use acrylic yarns or cotton. Trying to branch out and use acrylic and wool blends to see if I can waer that
Wool used to make me itch. Hopeing that isn’t true anymore
Wow, what a cheerful selection of yarn! Made my day better just looking at it! I love the luxury and durability of silk! And wool is wonderful too of course!
I love all the natural fibers and I appreciate all the blends you come up with. The yarns feel so good in my hands while I work my magic. Thanks!
I prefer non-animal fibers, and ope to knit with more in the future.
Wool is definitely my favorite fiber, though a good wool/cotton blend is also delightful 🙂
I love wool blends! The durability of wool with the drape of silk😍 perfection!
I love the purple and gold my school colors (LSU). The others are lovely. I like wool, wool/silk, or just about anything for myself, but if knitting for my daughter I use cotyon/bamboo/viscose.
I love working with wool yarns, alpaca is lovely and warm, silk/wool blends can be a treat to work with too!
I love merino wool.
Omggg. These are gorgeous! I love working with soft silky yarns. I also love the feel and how breathable bamboo yarns are. (Silk, merino, bamboo, viscose etc-). However I’m not above using plain acrylic and cotton 😄 I use all types of yarns and I would love to try out those beautiful gorgeous yarns!!!
i love a good silk or cashmere blend with alpaca or cotton… 🙂
My favorite fiber is usually the one I am using at the time. Currently working with a beautiful merino after finding out last year that I am no longer allergic to rabbits and sheep, so I am trying to catch up on all the wool and angora yarns I have missed out on.
My absolute favorite yarn is qiviut/musk ox. It’s so soft, warm and light weight
I have never knit with silk yarns so far but I’d love to give it a try. It must feel magical knitting with such soft yarn! My favourite so far has been wool blends.
Oh my goodness, those colors are stunning! I love your patterns and hope to try one of your silk bases.
That is definitely a difficult question, I’m new to the “good stuff”, I’ve used a lot of acrylics for gifts so the individual can wash as they desire. I’m loving all the fibers.
I don’t have any experience with different fibers but love to try them all.
Still learning about knitting with different fibers… right now it’s pretty much wool+nylon sock yarn!
Hello, Chandi. Beautiful spring collection here. My favorite fibre is probably merino wool, but I love working with fine cottons, too. The easy part is what I don’t like: I don’t like working with acrylic at all. Have a great month.
My favorite is wool, and I also love the blends with silk, yak and cashmere.
I Love Wool / Silk / Cashmere for myself but if it is a gift for someone , I tend to go with a very soft cotton as it is easier to be taken care of. I remember giving a sweater to a friend, with the care instructions, that they did not follow. So sad to see the sweater ruined. We are still friends but no longer do I make her sweaters.
I love fibers that have beautiful drape and a bit of gleam. Silk and bamboo are my favorites!
I really enjoy wool fibers for things like blankets, and cotton for wearables.
Right now I’m loving wool/silk blends.
This giveaway looks amazing!
Favourite fiber is merino. For socks in particular, I love superwash merino with nylon.
Living in the deep South, cotton is a go to fivber. Particularly some of the new soft milled cottons.
My newest favorite is a BFL/Masham blend (feels like cashmere!), then probably MCN, but I knit most often with Merino/nylon blend.
All your colors are just absolutely gorgeous and soft they work so nicely into beautiful creations from your patterns which are amazing, I just wish I had another pair of hands to do all the patterns that are piled up in my closet and in my den or maybe more hours to my day. I want to thank you and your staff for the wonderful work and support you gave to me in the past and I know that you will continue to make everyone of your customers.
I love cotton or mix wool or cotton.
I love cotton or cotton/wool. Your yarns are beautiful!!
I’m new to crochet and haven’t had the chance to use any of them except wool.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BEAUTY1
Any fiber as long as the yarn is well made and easy on the fingers
Gorgeous colors! I like them all, but my favorite is DK Sparkle! Love knitting and crocheting!
I learned about all the beautiful kinds of yarn from YOU. So I love alpaca, silk, cashmere and all your gorgeous mixes with wool!!
Absolutely gorgeous soft colors, I love anything with silk! Who am I kidding, I love any natural fiber 😂. Silk and cashmere blends are heavenly. The buttery yarns are delightful, the worsted yarns are dreamy to work with, I wouldn’t turn down any of your yarns they are ll exquisite! Thank you for offering the wonderful variety of colors and types of yarns that you do. i would be honored to win this luscious bundle.
My very favorite yarn ever is your yak/silk blend. It is so luxurious, warm & light. I like using the lace, sock & fingering weight yarns the best, and these are absolutely beautiful! Thank you Chandi, for sharing!
My favorite fibers are Alpaca and Silk.
I love wool. If it’s combined with silk so much the better.
My favourite fiber is wool.
I think cotton is my favorite.
I absolutely LOVE your yarn! I’d love to win this!
Honestly, l would be grateful for anything! Your yarn is SO beautiful!
I don’t have experience with any fiber other than wool with nylon or silk and also acrylic. It would be great to win this package to find out what it is like to knit!
My favorite fiber for fall and winter is wool. For spring and summer is bamboo.
Hi Chandi, Thank you for the special giveaways, clubs, kits, unique patterns & tutorials. The yarn colors are amazing! I’m always adding more to my stash. They are dreamy to work with.
I enjoy working with natural fibers, especially combined with Silk. I’ve even used Qiviut recently.
Thanks, Diane
I’m partial to silks, cashmere, alpaca… whatever is super soft and/or shiny. 😀
I love working with cotton yarn. These right here are some beautiful colors I can’t wait to play around with.
Wow, theses colors 😍 I love your silk blends a lot and I just bought a skein of your Sparkle DK and I am in loooove. Just love the sparkle so much!
I love merino and silk, and occasionally cotton when the project calls for it! I haven’t tried a lot of other wools or alpaca yet, but I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with them!
You certainly have some beautiful yarns. Although I love most fibers I’m getting arthritis in my thumbs and have trouble with the thin yarns. I’ve had to give up knitting because I just can’t hold the needles any more.
I prefer wool or wool blends.
These colors are beautiful, very nice spring vibes. I prefer merino blends, and I have a wonderfully squishy alpaca-silk blend that I’m saving for something special.
I love working with any yarn, but if I had to choose only one, I would have to say cotton.
I very recently discovered Expression Fiber Arts and am waiting for my very first order. I love wool – it’s easier on my wrists. But I have moved to a much warmer climate and have heard great things about chained cotton fiber. Plus linen blends behave beautifully once they are knit up!
Wool / Silk blends are my favourite!
I love to work with wools and alpaca, but I’ve been doing a lot of work with your Restore yarns, from fingering to dk to chunky, and love them all. They are soft and squishy and a dream to work with!
Anything wool and silk is Amazing.
The colours of all your yarn are so delicious ❤️
A while ago I knitted with some alpaca yarn, feels so great❤️ Will definitely be doing that again.
I always wanten to try out some silk yarn so I got 2 skeins a´d hope to make a nice shawl. The silk ones are hard to find over here so I will be looking for a nice pattern on your site 😀
Lovely yarn in fabulous colours 💕 cotton yarn & bamboo are definitely winners for me.I love wool but unfortunately it doesn’t like me! Makes me itch like crazy!!!
My favourite yarn is merino. Love the soft squishiness of it.
What beautiful spring colors for the giveaway. I am allerguc to some wools, so I like silk and cashmere.
I love knitting with wool but I also love it blended with lyocell, tencel, silk, bamboo for that little bit of extra sheen. I also love mohair and boucles because occasionally I like to do artsy pieces!
I enjoy the silk blends & wools.
It’s so hard to pick just one fiber because I love them all for different reasons. A deliciously soft wool is always my favorite. While i play with silks, cashmere, and mohair I think they are the “extras” for my wools. I’m not the biggest fan of cotton for use outside of very structural things like amigurumi. Admittedly, I have some of everything. I would love to try some ethically sourced mink but I don’t trust it coming out of countries that have horrendous histories with animal maltreatment.
Wow, that’s a toughie. I love the softer wools, and my fave of yours is the pearlescent fingering. So pretty and souch fun to work with
The colorways of the April giveaway are magnificent! I just started knitting October 30, 2023 so I’m very new to it. I would describe myself as an adventurous beginner. I love all natural fibers so far! I don’t like to use acrylic or polyester for wearables. So far, I have worked with cotton, wool, and polyester. I would say cotton is my favorite so far, but I would like to branch out. I have ordered your Pearlescent fingering, Calming Cotton fingering, Crema worsted, and Pearlescent worsted, but I have yet to work with them. The colorways are outstanding and they are so soft to the touch! I have been ogling your Oasis Camel Silk Fingering collection! The colorways are absolutely gorgeous and I’m sure it feels like pure luxury! I will most definitely order some in the near future!
Hmm…I mainly use wool. Namely merino. But I’m open to other things. I’ve got some cashmere that I just haven’t had the chance to crack open. I’m always willing to try a fiber once.
I have never seen such vibrant colors, absolutely beautiful. Regarding fav I’m still trying to figure it out. Still learning and experimenting.
I appreciate all your fine fibers. I knit with most of them except the bulky ones. They hurt my hands. I get so much enjoyment from your lives, patterns and the fabulously colored yarns!
I can knit and crochet with all yarn. Cotton, Wool, Acrylic, it doesn’t matter. All make beautiful items.
I like alpaca.
Prefer DK, Sport and Worsted in pretty much any material except 100 % old-type wool, the newer ones are not so bad/
Love sock yarn – wool and silk or wool and bamboo or nylon. I bought some all silk that is fabuous
I love merino wool, silk, cotton, and a variety of fibers depending on what the project is.
My favorite fiber is alpaca by a longshot.
I love all fibers but if I had to choose, I would pick wool.
Blends are usually wonderful to work with and of course, any silks are just yummy!!
I’m the biggest fan of Alpca or the super soft fine merino coming out lately.
I like a lot of different yarns but lately I’ve gotten into knitting more with cotton lately.
Silk is always a winner 😉
I can’t pick a favorite! It depends on what I’m making! Right now I”m LOVING your crema worsted for the MCAL. I’m loving it. But I also love cotton blends for garments, or wool with silk or some other soft add in! I don’t like acrylic!
I like anything soft. I don’t really know too much about the specific fibers though.
I do love silk blends and baby alpaca. I usually work with cotton or cotton blends, bamboo and Merino wool. I’m not real picky, though, if I like the color and feel I will use any type yarn for a project!
I like ALL fibers… I have yet to meet one that I wouldn’t like.
I haven’t knit with very many types of yarn, but my favorite so far was an alpaca blend
My favorite fiber is merino wool.
The worsted yarn is amazing!
I really like the feel of bamboo yarn. I’ve made a few things with it, and I like the drape as well.
I am in love with your posts! Not just the glorious photography – also the wonderful sentiments that you share and the great quotations. I adore wool and wool blends, and I am learning with great reluctance to use thinner weight yarn…… the blends make it worth it!
I usually only knit with wool or a wool blend with alpaca or cashmere.
If it’s soft, it’s on my favorites list. As a crocheter, I prefer to work with fingering and lace. Silk blends are always on the list. Now excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard! I gasped when I saw this month’s giveaway – such vibrant, happy colors! Thank you for your incredible generosity
My fav yarns are silk blended with fibers of all kinds! my best favorites: Alaska musk ox and New Zealand possum are my favorites.
I love silk blends, and mohair blends. I’m just getting into plant-based fibers, though (I have a friend who is allergic to wools).
Cotton and super wash wools are my favorites; easy care workhorses they are.
Cotton and bamboo blends are my absolute favorite. I love how they feel on your skin!
I usually crochet with acrylic but now that I’ve tried merino wool, it has become my favorite. I have been slowly trying to try fibers I haven’t before.
Alpaca yarn is my favorite yarn fabric in this time
Absolutely gorgeous collection of colors. I feel like I’m walking through an English Garden.
My favorite yarns seem to be the ones with animal fibers mixed with plant based fibers or silk. Which means there’s a lot of choices to make out there. However, Crema Sock seems to be my largest collection at the moment. Oasis a close second.
Love all the natural yarns.
I love your moongleam fingering yarn, so soft and squishy!
Merino and nylon blend is my favorite because I love to knit socks! I do love ALL the yarn though!
I love any natural fibers from animals: wool, cashmere, silk, merino, mohair, natural blends with silk or mohair in them – anything. Your yarns are all beautiful; I would be delighted with any of them!
Thank you for doing this, Chandi!
My favorite type of fiber depends on what I’m making. In general, if I could only have/use one for the rest of forever, I would choose wool. However, I love silk, cashmere is lovely, cotton is great (I just don’t like to knit with it), linen is wonderful, etc., etc., etc.
I like all fabrics, but I can only use wool for outer wear because I’m allergic.
Wool is my favorite, a wool/silk blend is a close second.
I love all your yarns but I particularly LOVE the ones with cashmere or silk! I also love your crochet patterns! They are beautiful! Thank you for all you do.
I am mostly a sock knitter so those blends are my favorite. Cashmere and silk are beautiful too. These are beautiful Thank for the opportunity to win.
Basically, anything that comes from you is a winner for me. Love it all!
My favorite yarns are any that are soft and squishy! And, suitable for my wip 😉
My favorite fiber is silk and my favorite yarn is your Oasis fingerling.
My favorite fiber is Pima cotton and merino next. Thank you for the chance at winning that beautiful yarn. 🌷🪻🌸🌻🌹
I’m a wool girl, but I can’t resist something extra soft and fluffy, like suri alpaca. Your yarns are so beautiful and your emails are always a bright spot in my day. Thanks for the positive and uplifting words and beautiful yarns you create!
My favorite base to work with is cashmere – I love how buttery soft it is!
Hi, I have mainly knitted and crocheted with natural fibers such as merino, cashemere, wool. I love it when its soft 🙂
I knitted a cardigan with alpaca, love the feel of it.
We don’t have yarns here that look so soft like yours where I live but I did find a beautiful silk mix, so soft and luxuriues. I will be looking on your site to buy a nice pattern for that yarn.
My favorite is silk og silk blend, hereafter it is alpacka wool – nice and soft
Mis merino and alpaca or silk. Love those, so soft.
Alpaca is so soft and warm, the silk is pure luxery .
Most anything mixed with silk or cashmere!!!
Lavender, rose, blue and maybe red.
Pearlecent Fingerring
I love the drape and shine of silk and alpaca
Living in Canada with our long winters, wool is my favourite. Of course, summer does come and then out comes the cotton! Thanks for the great videos by the way.
So many beautiful colors! Silk has always been my favorite fiber, so soft and shiny!
Nothing like a good wool/cashmere blend!
My current favorite is your Pearlescent wool and mulberry silk blend. I have had it in stash for a while. It is my first time using a silk blend and I am just loving how it feels in my hands.
Mix merino and alpaca or silk. Love those, so soft.
Alpaca is so soft and warm, the silk is pure luxery .⁸
My favorites are animal fibers plus silk and cashmere 💜
I personally love cotton! It’s the most comfortable for my skin and I don’t have to worry about some of the ethical issues with animal fibers (such as museling in the merino wool industry). Love that you have cotton/plant-fiber options in your shop!!
Beautiful
I love knitting with Alpaca, Silk and Cashmere.
It depends on the project, of course, but I’m very fond of a tightly spun washable wool for socks
I love wool
Hello! I don’t have a favorite fiber as of yet! I have used a cricket loom with acrylic yarn in the past and I am learning how to knit and I have only used acrylic to learn. I am interested in learning about new yarn options for my future projects.
Learning to love fingerweight yarn. Makes projects drape nicely. Cotton is my go to for bags and home dec.
Ooo 😍 I could make so many lovely garments for my two granddaughters ! You have such lovely yarns and so many colours ❤️ I love the pinks and the purple one.
Good luck everyone!! I am hoping to win them 😂
I really like to work with a blend of high-quality wool and other fibers like silk, nylon, acrylic, and cotton. Your yarns are wonderful and luxurious to work with.
I actually don’t necessarily have a favorite fiber – usually that is project determined (e.g., cotton for dishcloths) etc.
I love a merino/silk blend but any soft and squishy yarn makes my heart happy. This months colors are GORGEOUS!
I enjoy Merino & Alpaca most, but don’t tend to use them often. I need to change that!
For durability, I like cotton/acrylic blends. But for special items, like shawls, I like to use “exotic” blends if I can–anything that has silk, alpaca, bison, yak, bamboo.
I really love superwash wool or wool blended with other fibers. Currently working on Sweetgum with Twisted Tweed Sport and absolutely love the look and feel of this yarn. I’m a slow knitter, but finally seeing the end in sight on this cardigan, working on the 2nd sleeve now!
I love superwash merino, but I really want to try camel some day. Your yarn looks absolutely stunning ❤️
Silk or silk and merino are my faves!
Silk and other animal fibers. I hate synthetics
I’m currently loving merino wool in fingering and DK weights. Love alpaca when I can my hands on it. All really depends on the project.
Beautiful Spring colors! So many ides!
I don’t think I have a favourite. I think my favourite is whatever I’m working with at the moment. Kind of like a grandma, whichever grandchild(ren) she’s with at the moment are her favourites.
Another gorgeous colour set!
I like lots of different yarn bases: merino, silk, lyocell, cotton, bamboo and any combinations. My favourite though is a silk blend.
I haven’t been able to afford silk yarn but I’d love to try it. I equally love wool and cotton depending on the season and the item I’m making.
I love working with silk but lately I have really enjoyed the bamboo and cotton base yarns.
I’ve been making socks for Christmas and enjoy working with merino wool blends. The recipients appreciate the wool warmth for our Minnesota winters!
I would have to say my favorite fiber to work with lately is cotton. I love how easy it is to clean and dry and it works great with the dish cloths/towels I make.
SILK is my favorite! Give me a blend of silk and merino wool anyday 🙂
Cotton Silk combo is lovely to work with and a favourite
My absolute favourite fibre is quiviuk or quiviut. It’s sooooo soft! It makes silk feel like burlap. Since I can’t afford it, alpaca is my next favourite, it’s also very, very soft. Of course, the project determines the fibre used, but if I can, I use alpaca at every opportunity. Silk is also great.
I love natural fibers and vibrant colors.
Wool, or wool-cotton blends are my favourites to work with.
My favorite fibers right now are yak and silk — I grabbed some of the yak silk fingering while it was in stock, and it’s SO scrumptious and soft!
I love wool… feels so nice to knit.
I very much enjoy the wool/silk blends, and how the yarn flows over itself when working it. Wool/nylon is nice too for it’s springiness. I just found out my best friend can’t wear wool – good thing as I was contemplating what to make for her! I am looking forward to working with a cotton or bamboo & silk blend – sounds lovely. So much still to explore and learn!
I really love the worsted which is my absolute favorite but the silk cashmere mix is also one of my favorites and the DK sport
I like all fiber. However, I do have a couple hanks of a alpaca/silk/merino blend I am looking forward to trying :).
I love natural fibres, particularly linen and cotton.
Beautiful happy colours!
Silk, alpaca, cashmere – unfortunately I don’t get to use them enough
I love so many fibers, it generally depends on the weather 🙂 Wool and silk are one of my favorite combinations right now.
I’m a sucker for lace weight wool and for flax fiber.
I adore all natural fibers.
I love a good merino wool. But the blends with silk and other exotic fibers are a real treat too!
Right now I’m working with Pearlescent Fingering yarn It’s so soft . It will be Blanket when I’m finished/When I started this project I was just going randomly, but then I went to the pattern Gdansk blanket. Next I’ll be working with Luster Sport don’t know what I’ll be doing yet .but I’m open to any ideals I’m a crocheter. Love all your yarn
Unsubscribe, please.
I love all kinds of fibers, as long as they are not scratchy on the skin 🙂 Thank You for the possibility and have a wonderful day 🙂
I usually use wool, or cotton, but would love to get a chance to try different fibers as well if I win. Thank you for this giveaway and good luck to the others who enters
I love soft fibers whether it’s alpaca or cotton or acrylic – the softer the better. I also love yarns with sparkle in them. I am a magpie at heart! I do stay away from wool as much as possible though because my dad is allergic.
I love the Alpaca and silk combination! So soft and a delight to work with. . I’ve never used cashmere before but I’m sure I’d love it.
I love any yarn from you! Your yarns are always soft and squishy. Alpaca and silk are a favorite!
Sad to say I have never tried high quality yarns. The only type other than inexpensive acrylics I have knit with is superwash wool blend for socks. I wonder about silks and cottons…really about them all.
Hi, one of my favorite yarns is the yak and mulberry silk. And I am grateful for all the tutorials. The natural fibers have such wonderful energies and vibrations. They make wonderful gifts.
Your color combinations are well thought out, and inspire a whole new level of creativity.
I love sock yarn
The first time I touched yarn with mulberry silk it changed my world! 🙂 I love it for special projects, but also love things made with a cotton blend. I’ve even learned how to love wool since finding yarn makers who produce the really high-quality types. (I think we all know someone I’m talking about). Beautiful collection this month, as always!
I love merino, silk, or alpaca blends. The March 2024 colors blew me out of the water!
Hi Chandi!
I absolutely love a BFL/Silk blend, BFL is so underrated with Merino getting all the glory. Another fiber pairing I love working with is yak/silk.
I love a wool silk blend.
So many to choose from!!! You Chandi Taught me about Camel with the Oasis base. A good portion of my stash. Yak is a pleasure to work with, cashmere ,silk,. I haven’t tried linen but I’ve heard great things.
I normally work with wool yarns, but would love to try mulberry silk sometime, especially now that I am making more wearables, I think it would feel super yummy!!
I love knitting with Merino and Baby Alpaca and love spinning with wool and silk mix roving that I dye
I love working with wool or silk, and anything with a little sparkle is my guilty pleasure.
Yarn yarns are absolutely stunning! I’m not crazy about wool. It’s itchy and too warm for me. I live in south Louisiana. I like cottons and acrylic or blends of both.
My favorite is merino wool, specifically fingering weight. It is usually so soft and has great stitch definition.
silk and wool blends are my favorites, but anything soft is the best.
I really enjoy working with the silk bases, Oasis is a dream to work with. Currently enjoying a project with the yak silk lace and it’s got such warmth just sitting on my lap and such a pretty drape! Cant wait to finish, block then actually use the wrap this spring/summer!
A also love working with the luster sport base- so soft!
I am just beginning to work with different types of yarn. My favorite so far is merino wool.
Nothing quite like a merino/silk blend but love the alpaca as well.
I love wool and silk blended fibers. They feel so soft.
Mercerised cotton is my favourite because it’s shiny and water absorbent. Cotton and acrylic yarn are abundant, affordable and readily available where I live. Hope to someday try yarn made or blended with silk!
Cotton is most durable, but silk is wonderful
I’ve loved Merino and cotton blends lately! So versatile, soft and won’t make me too hot for the summer (I’m making tops for myself!)
I love merino/nylon/cashmere blends! So soft and long lasting!!
I love the feel of anything mixed with silk! I especially enjoyed working with the Alpaca Silk DK. YUM!
I love all natural fibers – especially cotton and NON-superwash merino wool!
I love working with your silk-blend yarns! I’m also particularly in love with fine merino.
I just love your alpaca silk dk and Crema worsted. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. I love natural fibers and beautiful rich colors!
I love all fibers! Silk, yak, merino, Polwarth, camel, merino, and cashmere are wonderful and I love working with them. Can never have enough yarn.
I like most anything dk and easy care. I wish alpaca and cashmere weren’t so pricey
At this point in my life I love soft cotton and merino, however I see a space for a change when I get some more experience with other fibres 😁
I love anything mixed with silk! My absolute favorite EFA base to work with is Crema Worsted — but lately I have been getting more into the fingering weights! Thank you so much for this opportunity, Chandi! Hugs
I love all the fibers!
I really enjoy a merino wool.
I’ve been absolutely loving cashmere and alpaca blends lately. They’re so soft, but mixing them with wool or silk gives extra strength and luster to the fiber. I’m currently knitting up a cardigan using the discontinued Vellum base, and loving every stitch!
I love a good, sturdy wool yarn. I know it’s going to stand the test of time and wear beautifully.
I like natural fibers, although I use a lot less wool now because my sister is allergic. I probably use cotton the most, but also alpaca is so soft and warm..
One of my first knitting projects was a long duster sweater in charcoal gray alpaca 🦙 That sweater is soooo soft. I recently made the Daisy sweater in a wool blend. My new favorite sweater to wear with jeans. It is a variegation of blue, red, gold, and browns in the delicate Daisy stitch. I’m inspired by EFA and love to try new fibers and projects.
I’m not really picky….. I love them all !!!!!!!!!!! They each have their perfect right place for each special project….
I love to work with all yarns except animal-based wool yarns due to allergies….. silk I think I should be OK with though, but haven’t tried yet
Wool is probably always going to be my favorite. There are so many breeds with unique properties.
I am a huge fan of silk yarn, and am determined to get my hands on some qiviut yarn at some point. My second favorite is alpaca fiber yarn.
Thank you for a beautiful giveaway! Every pattern that I have seen is just gorgeous. Love them all. Anything but wool, a little warm for summer.
Merino wool is my favorite!! I love the feel of it in my hands as I knit!
…. wool and wool blends are my faves
I’m partial to cotton, linen, hemp, and bamboo.
What an awesome giveway, Chandy! I’m smitten by all of your beautiful yarns and their presentation on your website! Eye candy extraordinaire! I’m currently in fiber exploration mode, so at this point I can’t really name a favorite. Thank you so much for educating fiber novices like me!
Love wool and wool blends
My favorite type of fiber is silk and wool!
I like knitting with different natural fibers, but anything mixed with silk are my favorites.
I like almost anything mixed with a little silk for the shine.
I am obsessed with your yawn
i love anything soft and not itchy, beyond that, no real favorites.
The tarns are beautifully coloured
I Iove silk and cotton! Also cashmere.
My favorite would be natural fibers. I am obsessed with wool at the moment.
Natural fibres but wool for winter .
I usually use acrylic yarns. But occasionally I treat myself to a natural yarn. It’s nice to have something luxurious to knit with even on occasion <3
I love all the colours but I would prefer the silk
I prefer cotton fibres.
hi , i like cotton linen the most and also like wool cashmere
cotton would be lovely
I love all natural fibers .. bamboo, merino wool, cotton and silk. I just love to knit .. very therapeutic for stress.
I prefer all natural fibers. It’s doing my part for the earth and my wardrobe. It seems like natural fibers work up better. ❤️🐑🐪
I love working with cotton! Wool is great, too, but our climate is pretty mild to wear wool, especially those big, bulky sweaters I love to make!
I normally use acrylic, have been working with bamboo and cotton lately. Looking for the perfect crochet pattern for my Restore DK.
I’m ready for a soft, drapey shawl.
Favorite fiber is your Pearlescent Fingering! Can’t get enough of it!
I like them all
I love cotton, and silk. The more vivid the better, along with being soft.
Living in a a northern climate i am called to wool blends.
I like silk fibers best.
cotton wool blend
slik please
I love any natural fiber. The really cheap man-made stuff feels like plastic to my fingers. Ugh!
Thank you so much for these giveaways, Chandi! 🙂
What a beautiful giveaway! I love linen and silk — especially since I’m looking forward to some warm-weather knitting!
I like yarn that has a bit of wool in it, makes the yarn soft with a bit of fluffy feel, great for lace because it blocks nicely. I have also knit with bamboo which is nice depending on how it’s woven-it can be soft and fluffy or more like cotton.
I love cotton and linen
Happy Wednesday! I like natural fibres to knit with. Bye 👋!
I love merino wool, & alpaca
What an awesome giveaway this month!
I love the drape of cotton/bamboo blends.
I love bamboo, alpaca, and cotton. I use a lot of acrylics for a lot of things I make. I like the soft feeling yarns. 🙂
I’d love wool, but in summer, I use to knit cotton
I love all natural fibers especially in blends (merino and silk or with bamboo)…love it 😉
I mostly knit with wool, although I am entering that phase of life during which I am having “power surges,” so I may be exploring more cotton, linen and silk in the near future.
Depends on the project but I’m loving cashmere and silk. Will lean into cotton and bamboo for summer!
Thanks for the giveaway! I love yarn with silk, or silk blend. Silk not only gives yarns a great hand, but also adds strength and tends to help finished projects keep their shape.
I love merino wool! Such a nice fiber to work with.
I love silk, cotton, and merino wool.
I love all the fibers. I cannot decide on a favorite. As long as it is soft and easy to work with, I am in. Love the colors in this months giveaway.
I got some silk a while ago, lo ethefeel af of that. It is so rara to fi d those soft skeins where I live. When I watch the lives they are always so soft lioking, would love to get my hands in a few of these skeins.⁸
I fell in love with baby alpaca when I first started using natural fibers, and I haven’t strayed far.
Wool wool wooooool. Recently switched to knitting and making sweaters is my absolute favorite. Wool is so gorgeous
I’m LOVING these colors! My birthday is in April (it was yesterday) and I adore how everything comes back to life during this month. I have several favorite fibers, but I have to say alpaca is probably my absolute favorite. How can you not love something that’s so soft?
I absolutely love merino wools, alpaca wools, wools blended with silk … the hand of a yarn is all important to me.
I brake for yarn shops….
My favorite fibers are silk and bamboo. Both are so smooth, soft, fluid, and have a lovely gleam. I wish I could wear wool from sheep, but my skin, except for my hands, perceives it as scratchy, even the softest merino. So wool/silk blends, and I have a few skeins, are not something I can wear. The drawback to silk and bamboo is that they are not as stretchy to knit on their own as animal or animal/silk/bamboo blends; those animal fibers just stretch better as yarn. I am pretty sure I can tolerate alpaca, but my budget has not permitted me any opportunities of late to acquire any. Oh well.
I love the feel of cotton best… but, all natural fibers are lovely!
Thank you for offering this generous yarn give away. I know it will bless whomever wins… Tah
I enjoy working with merino wool, cashmere, alpaca blends, silks… so hard to pick just one, but I think merino is my go-to for many items.
I’m limited in what I can afford to knit with. But wool and cotton I’m familiar with. Would love to try silk or merino. I’m open to just about anything really
Beautiful giveaway! I haven’t really had a chance to work with many different types of yarn. I love anything soft.
I love alpaca mall and cotton mix. I am brand new to this love just learning how to do everything..
Aplaca or silk blends ate my favorites!
Mi piacciono TUTTE le fibre..Adoro le miscele di seta..Gabriella
Picking a favorite fiber is like picking a favorite child. I like the one I’m with the most, lol.
Every one of these is amazingly gorgeous!! What an awesome prize!
I love natural fibers. Silk and bamboo are the lovliest to me!
I love cashmere/ silk blends and alpaca blends. So soft
I love to crochet with a natural blend, like an alpaca/silk or a merino/silk. It gives that bit of extra slippery soft without being too slippery. And my favorite to spin on a wheel by far has been a 50/50 bamboo and tencel. It was a dream to spin.
Wool, silk, cotton, any natural product is always a delight to work with! Absolutely stunning layout!
Anything soft and/or silky.
I love a bamboo blend. So soft.
Thank you so much for such a lovely giveaway! Beautiful colors! 😍😍😍
What a beautiful and delightful giveaway! I loooooove the colors and the fibers! I love all fibers, the softer the better. Camel, Yak, Silk, wool, ooh la la. Thank you!
My favorite blend Is cashsilk sock.
Mmmm. More yarn! Not that I need it, but I will make room for this delicious yummy. Mmmmm
I love and find beauty in many different kinds of yarn. I sometimes choose my patterns based on a yarn I’ve found that I love. Sometimes I choose my yarn based on a pattern I love. Right now I’m making a cabled scarf with bamboo yarn.
Wool! Cashmere! Silk!
I love working with wool best. Sometimes I will use superwash if I am making socks or something for the kids, otherwise I use regular hand-wash wool.
Recently I fell in love with bamboo fiber. But my preferences definately depend on the project to be made.
Fave is wool for hats and socks.
Wool is my favorite!
My current obsession is alpaca and silk.
Just recently started using silk and really loving it!
Alpaca and silk, and cotton-bamboo blends work best for me
I love to work with some kind of superwash merino bland the most. And it’s also nice to have some silk fibres in there for that gorgeous shine.
I like silk, cotton, and bamboo blends. Anything that’s soft. I make a lot of baby blankets.
Im loving wool blended with silk right now!
I LOVE alpaca, but it’s just not suitable for everything. lately, I’m appreciating silk for added strength, shine, and drape without stretch. for luxury, I appreciate cashmere or yak blended with merino. yummy!
I personally adore the wool and silk combo. It feels lovely working up in my hands and I absolutely adore the way it falls and feels when finished.
My favorite fiber has been cotton since I began Crocheting at age 6! I have never used Linnen but it’s on my list of fibers to try.
I really like the wool blends from Expression Fiber Arts! They are soft and versatile, which I appreciate.
I love wools! I also love any other natural fibers, especially soft ones!
I am pretty new to crochet but I love working with cotton and am curious about working with silk. I love your positivity, your communications aware always so uplifting, thank you . Ps all of the yarns pictured above are exquisite, lovely colors 💗
I’ve only ever used cheap yarn.. I’d be excited to try any of them!
I love the natural fibers. I used to buy the acrylic and other generic store brands. Then I found yours and love the softness of your yarns.
I love most animal fibers, but my fave has to be a merino silk blend. It’s just so plush and sumptuous!
Your posts are amazing. Your yarn inspiration is above inspiring. I love all yarns but mostly the alpaca inclusive and silk of course. Alas I’m allergic so would mostly wear cotton, silk and bamboo myself. Luckily I find much joy in knitting for others.
My favorite fiber is wool- followed by alpaca. I’ve never tried silk but it is on my wish list.
I find things to love about nearly every type of fiber! So far wool and silk blend is my favorite, but bamboo blends are also great…. so hard to choose!
Silk is wonderful but I like most fibers.
Superwash anything is my favorite!!
I enjoy working mostly with natural fibers. I love merino, alpaca, and cotton best.
Because I’m a princess ;), alpaca suri, cashmere and silk are my favorite fibers to knit and wear
I like to work with acrylics. Most of the people I knit/crochet for don’t know how to care for plain wool items. And a lot of my gift-giving crafts are for babies. So into the wash they go.
Sometimes, as a treat for myself, I like to work with wool blends, esp for socks.
I like cotton and silk
I prefer natural soft fibres: merino, bamboo, viscose and alpaca. I also like cotton for sturdier projects. I prefer superwash yarns, so I don’t have to worry about them as much..
Alpaca is the best I love it
I love wool to make socks out of but my favorite is whatever I have available. It is always fun to find a skein that you forgot about.
I like knitting with wool and superwash wool. I also like bamboo, cotton, and acrylic depending on the use.
I live in Florida so I love cotton and silk due to the warm weather.
These yarns are GORGEOUS!!!
Allergic to wool but silk is great!
I love cotton/bamboo blends but I haven’t found a wool or alpaca my hands don’t find itchy. Hopefully Chandi yarn can help with this.
Hi Chandi, I love all natural fibers
Hi Chandi, Tim and wonderful team! Right now I’m on a cotton kick but I also love wool! 🩷🌷🪻🌸🌻🌼🌹
