liked and posted, would be a fun box to get 🙂
I have completed steps 2 and 3. I would love to win this to knit sweaters for my first great niece in England. And knit for my 2 granddaughters here in Canada. Thank you very much for the chance to win this and good luck to everyone.
I did one two and three and i would give it to my mom because she loves knitting
I did both one and two. I would love to win this yarn. Socks, scarves, shawl, so many, many things are possible!
Such beautiful yarn! I would give it such a good home!!
I have completed steps one and two. This yarn would be excellent for a wrap pattern a friend of mine brought over last night. Would look amazing with a white sundress and lace cowboy hat.
I have completed steps 2 and 3. It is still cold here in Northern Illinois especially at night. I think socks & hats would look great in those colors. Have a great day!
Did both my fingers
These skiens are too yummy to sit on the shelf they are going to be my next shawl !!!
I love seeing what you do with color every day. How you take inspiration from nature and turn it into yarn is so inspiring! I would just love to own some. I am not sure what I would knit up, but it would be fabulous!
I did steps one & two. I will make something inspiring, luscious, beautiful, awesome and worthy. I don’t know exactly what until I actually see it and fondle it.
I did steps one and two. See so many new possibilities it is hard to decide – hats, cowls, scarves, – so much yarn and so little time! Thank for sharing.
I COULDN’T SAY WHAT I WOULD DO WITH IT BECAUSE I’M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO SEE, FEEL,AND SMELL THE YARN BEFORE IDEAS COME TO ME, BUT BELIEVE ME …………………I WOULD LOVE IT ALL INTO DIFFERENT PROJECTS
I did both one and two! I would love to get my hands on that yarn! I would make hats, bonnets, and headbands with it! 🙂
Can’t wait to start a sweater for my first great grandchild. Both of her parents love purple. Than maybe a dress. She is due in June
Done both steps and keeping my fingers crossed!
I will make a shawl like the one you made with different yarns.
Love this ,would be so neat if it could be mine, I would share with a friend of mine too!
I shared and subscribed!! 🙂
Ahh! I LOVE your monthly contests. They are so simple to enter, none of that mumbo-jumbo about contest rules and stuff. 🙂 Well, if I were to win this yarn I would make hats and scarves for my friends and maybe a doggie outfit for my puppies!
Megg
Oops….forgot to add that I did both steps 1 and 2. lol
I have followed the directions and I’m keeping my fingers crossed, I have inherited my Mother’s nitting neadles and I would love the opportunity to make a afcan in her memory. Thank you for the opportunity to 🙂
i’m thinking an awesome shawl with all that yarn! and probably a scarf too!
I would love to win! Love your color combos! I would probably make cowls, scarfs, and fingerless mitts!
make lots of scarfs
I have never made a sweater for myself but would love to and these are MY colors!
I have completed the necessary steps and am crossing every appendage I have in the hopes it will bring me luck. If I were so fortunate as to be the winner, I’d use the yarn to make items for the neonatal ward at my local hospital. My grandson spent a few days in NICU when he was born 8 years ago, and having hats and booties that don’t look “hospital-ish” makes a world of difference when you’re spending those precious moments with your little bundles. It just feels like home, and gets them one step closer to being there. If there is a bit left over, I’ll make something for my grandson as well.
Thanks!!
P.S. I just love your yarns, you are truly a talented dyer.
Kathryn
These are fabulous colors! Would love to get these. Signed up (previously) and shared the contest, so crossing my fingers!
Did every step 😀 shared and tweeted. I’d make a fun, funky hat with that fuzzy stuff! Probably lots of hats, I love hats, and maybe a pair of socks.
I would make some lovely baby hats with some of the new crochet stitches I have learned. I have never worked with the silk so I am looking forward to the opportunity to make some beautiful accent pieces for the summer.
I make blankets for Project Linus. I would turn it all into a scrap afghan for Project Linus.
Completed both steps 🙂 I would LOVE to create some hats and scarves for my family with these beauties!
I am thinking a nice pair of mittens & a hat for me for next winter. I made new for everyone from my family to my sitters kids but never made for myself. I think I would like to attempt socks and maybe some fun creatures for my kids to cuddle.
I want this! I love your yarn.
I will probably get another one of your patterns and make more summer scarves. Yes, summer scarves, it gets chilly in the Pacific Northwest even in the summer.
That sari yarn is calling my name very loudly.
Huge fan!
Lucy
I am already subscribed and therefore I am entered into your contest. ( I did double check ) I have been wanting to make a lovely shawl and I would probably attempt that with this yarn. Or I may just make myself a new scarf. However, my little girl doesn’t have a matching scarf and hat yet (she is only 13 1/2 months old )
Hi, Chandi, I entered this contest. If I win that’s great. If not, that’s ok too.

Hi Chandi (love your name by the way), I have subscribed to the newsletter and shared the competition news item on Facebook. I would show off your amazing yarn in a range of projects for friends, family and myself to spread further the wealth of goodwill and happiness that went into each skein.
I did steps 1 and 2, and if I win, I’ll knit and crochet to my heart’s content! Thank you for the chance! Linda
i am in the process of making afghans for my local seniors nursing homes and could really use extra yarn as it gets expensive to buy….I am always looking for deals!!
thanks,
lori
I have just found out im to be a grand parent this year so i could knit some lovely things for the little one x
Oh, and if, I win this yarn, I will knit something for my mother to remember my father by. He passed away early this morning of a heart attack. (04/02/13)
The first thing I will do with this yarn is squeeze it and roll it around in my hands. Then I will examine it carefully and think about all the things I could make with it. Gloves? (I love making gloves.) Socks? (Socks are such a nice compact project.) Maybe a hat? (I left my favourite winter hat at my sister’s house which is a three and a half hour plane ride away.) Whatever I decide, I’ll be able to put it away in a classy hat box!
Oh, yes, I’ve entered my name and e-mail address, and liked you on Facebook! The next step is up to your Random Number Generator.
If I won I would gaze lovingly at the yarn for awhile then knit it up into ponchos for children in Africa.
If I won this yarn, I’d hug it daily ( Maybe even roll in it like a dog . shh don’t tell anyone ) Then I’d have lots of fun turning it into something beautiful. :0)
All done entering. I could see my granddaughter stepping out in her new sweater as I am typing. It’s always fun to knit new patterns and I belong to a very active knitting group knows as the KnitWits. We share our work as well as our thoughts.
I have been knitting for over 60 years…learned as a child at summer camp..and have such fond memories of my first sweater. It was to be for me…turned out too large for even my father!
I just turned 30 and am in the final phases of a cruel divorce. Crocheting is what has kept me sane. I have admired your yarns and your story for some now and would feel privileged to win a few products out of your line. If I were to win I would make your circular random edging afghan and maybe a funky hat or purse! I am on your mailing list and shared your contest on facebook… *fingers crossed*
I’d use this yarn to make a fabulous wrap!
PS–I did steps 1 and 2, too, sharing onFacebook!
I will make my husband an afghan. I have made them for all my children and grandchildren, plus my great niece and nephews for a total of 12!! It is his turn to get one!!! I really hope I win!
I think, that if I won this yarn I would make a beautiful full Shawl for myself..
one that would wrap around and you can snuggle into..
Did it! 2-3 – was already subscribed!

What would I do with all this wonderful yarn?
I think at first I would roll around in it and drool, and rub my face in it.

I have completed steps one and two. I would make a beautiful shawl if I won thus yarn!
I did steps 1 and 2! I will use it to continue working on my knitting. I just started and am already addicted!!
I have a close friend who is expecting, so I intend to make her a shawl and matching baby blanket! It’s just the right amount and the colors are ideal!
I knit for charity…hats, mitts, scarves and socks to be given out as Christmas gifts for those less fortunate …I love to knit and I love to give
Did both! I have no clue what I’ll be making with it, but this yarn is so wonderful I can’t pass up the chance to win it.
I did my steps! I love my cowl so pick me pick me! I would make pretty shawls or socks the list is endless and I would have to wait for the yarn to tell me what it wanted to be 😉
I subscribed and shared. If I win, after I get up off the floor, I will get out my library of knitting books and magazines with all my Wish List Projects and match them up with those gorgeous yarns!!!
I make prayer shawls for people having surgery or problems so they remember people are praying for them. Many positive responses to the shawls, so that is probably what I would use these special yarns for.
I did steps 1 and 2 🙂
I would make purse, scarf, fingerless gloves designer hat…
I’m done with 1 and 2! I’ll have to see and feel the yarn in person to decide for sure what I will do with it- planning and dreaming is half the fun!!! So exciting!
knit….lol
I’ve been dreaming of your yarn ever since I first discovered your site. The colors are gorgeous and I can only imagine what they look like knitted or crocheted. Beautiful silk shawls. wool scarves, mitts or gloves, hard to say depends on what the box brings.
I’m not sure what I would do with it. Scarves, cowls, baby blankets? But it would be fun having to make the decision!
I’m already subscribed so I shared this post on Facebook and tweeted it as well. What to do with so much gorgeous free yarn? Those colors and textures are just perfect for a cowl or shawl….for me of course 🙂
I did the fb thing but can’t tweet, please pick me anyway!!

I would knit hats for homeless people or for cancer patients!
I would LOVE to win this yarn! I’m not sure what I would make with it… I would just have to go with where the yarn takes me 🙂 Probably socks, since I’m addicted to them 😉
Shared! And when I win 😉 😉 I’ll knit a lonely wrap. 🙂
Steps 1 and 2 completed! Now what to do with all that scrummy yarn? A gorgeous patchwork garment maybe, or several smaller items, scarves, bags? I can dream!
I’d crochet something beautiful! 🙂
I have been working on shortrow shawls and scarves lately; made of mixed yarns. I find this a very fascinating departure from more traditional lace. It is exciting and fun.
Thanks for the chance to win, I’ve subscribed and shared, so fingers crossed. If I won I’d have to make something for my new born niece, a granny blanket? A snugly vest, or possibly a crocheted tiara?! I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed!
I completed all steps! I will make different shawls and scarves!
did steps one and two. if i won i would lovingly knit and cuddle the yarn into something special for each of my daughters and something equally as special for myself. yummy yarns are not a luxury i can ever afford.

step 1) I will take pictures of the beautiful.
step 2) I will make matching sets of gloves, socks, scarfs and hats.
step 3) I will look up knitted sets and think I will get make a knitted set.
step 4) Then reality will set in and I will want to finish quickly and I will crochet them all.
I have completed steps 1 and 2 and here is 3…
Wow…. What could I create with this stash of loveliness?
One thing would be impossible… Apart from an exceedingly special lap shawl for those cold evenings requiring a snuggle but that would realistically be kept at home? So maybe a delicate but warming hat and scarf set? Couldn’t do without gloves or mitts though??? Not forgetting feet!!! Couldn’t have cold feet either?!
But then the warmer weather is approaching???!!! So a Lacey shawl?
What about lacy stockings? A purse to carry? A matching set????
Daytime wear? Evening wear? Night wear? Underwear!!!!!
The list is incomprehensible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s no good!! A hat box would never suffice!!!!?!!
It will have to be a crate (a BIG crate!!!!)
A hat box to start and then To TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Bwhahahahahhhhaaahhhhaaahhhhhhh!!!!
Please? X
I hope I got all the steps right!! I will use your totally scrummy yarn to make some delicious baby things. That’s what I do!! I am a Knitologist! I might sneak a few skeins into my little stash known as “Jules Treasure Trove” ready to make something lovely for me! Xxx
I will make hats and mittens for our Christmas shoeboxes that our church sends out
By the way I did everything you asked lol forgot to mention that lol liked and shared and entered all my info. 🙂
This is Great. I am waiting for a kidney transplant and would like to make a small blanket to take with me to keep me warm.
I did 1 and 2 and shared on FB…I might share some of the yarn with my knitwit friends and make gifts with the rest.
The hat box would go on my art desk/workspace as a beautiful storage space. What would I do with the yarn? You mean besides pet it and drool over the glorious colors? Scarves, hats, perhaps a shawlette (depends on the yardage of the skein), maybe fingerless gloves. Any or all, depending on what the yarn tells me it wants to be. 😀
Forgot to add that I did both of my steps – subscribed and posted to Facebook.
Thank you for offering a wonderful prize. I have subscribed to your mailing list and posted the contest on facebook.
Have a wonderful day.
PS I look forward to getting your newsletter. 🙂
Yarn! Yay! Yarn!
Probably make some bags or a shawl….
Such beautiful yarns to make shawls, cancer caps and some donated baby hats to local benefit organizations. Would love to be able to share these gorgeous yarns for these projects instead of less worthy yarns bought in bulk. Special people deserve the best to thank them for the daily battles they face in order for survival and to continue to show us what true courage is~

I did the steps. If I won this yarn, I will squish it and admire it for a while, then put it on my nice new swift (which I love) and revel at how fast a hank winds into a ball. Done one & two. I’ve got binders of “In My Lifetime” patterns, This yarn Will be put to good use!
I’m making (weaving and knitting) shawls for those of us that are sick or are in need of comfort. The comfort comes from the superb diversity of wool and the prayers that are woven in. The more colour the better to make each one unique. And I don’t charge ❤ it’s a labour of Love and faith x.
Oh, I could do so much with this! I’m addicted to scarves and shawls right now, so probably one of those; maybe one for my sister for her birthday next month!
I would use this yarn for shawls or scarves…I absolutely love lace.
Best giveaway of 2013 so far in the whole wide world!!! I would make a hooded cowl I think. Something that would really show off the yarn.

This looks like it would become an awesome shawl. The mix of colours and textures would be very fun.
Hi! I completed the steps as you requested! Nothing planned right now, but after using your yarn recently for the first time, I find that it has a personality all of its’ own. Each yarn has its’ own texture, color and weight, so it follows that you kind of have to “let the yarn speak to you” when you can finally touch it and take a minutes to get to “know one another”. I would be knitting or crocheting some beautiful stuff…..that I know! Absolutely love your yarns and plan on purchasing more in the near future. Thank you Chandi!
My son has severe epilepsy, I crochet to relax and have given away most of my afghans. I also crocheted 20+ preemie blankets.
<3

Hello, have done requested step1 and 2. If I won this yarn after gazing at it adoringly and squishing it to completely appreciate how beautifully soft it is I would start by knitting myself a shawl. I have a fab pattern but every time I make it it ends up being given as a pressie.
All signed up and sent it out to friends. I love your colors!

LOVE LOVE LOVE YARN,CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT LOL
Hi Chandi,
This is so exciting! If I win your beautiful yarn, I would be able to make some gifts I can’t afford right now. I also just started a new business from home of making little crocheted or knitted animals. I made my daughter one and now everyone seems to want one. Problem is, I made my first one with hand dyed wool and now everyone wants hand dyed wool! Problem is, I haven’t made enough money on the ones I made to afford more hand dyed wool. By winning this lot, I’d at least get ahead. I think! Lol… Anyway, I’d just be esstatitic if I did win.
Blessings,
Denise
My passion is to create beautiful things for everyone including myself. Most of what I make I give as gifts or to people in need. I am unable to work at this time so it’s difficult to get supplies so I appreciate anything and everything that comes my way. I would cherish a gift like this so I’m praying it happens 🙂
The sari silk will become an elf hat.the worsted skeins will be a cowl and a pair of mittens.and the several skeins of sock and fingering weight will become shawls and scarves.I tweeted and liked on Facebook,of course! Thank you for this generous giveaway!
That all looks like it’d make some wonderful shawlettes or scarves.
I have completed steps one and two..and right I am teaching myself how to knit lace..so there would be some very pretty shawls that I could make with your yarn 😀
I would make cowls for Christmas gifts this year. I always start way ahead of time and I usually make gifts for everyone I know for holidays!! This would be PERFECT!!!
I did both those steps. I love the look of the yarn, and would love the feel of it even more.
I’d make my friend a hat, a baggy one to put her long her into. I’d make the finer one into a Hitchhiker scarf and the sari yarn – well maybe a little cowl?

A beautiful wrap for cool summer evenings, or a lightweight eyelet sweater with matching clutch
I love to knit and crochet. I finished steps one and two. I collect yarn from all over to make hats for premies and the children at St. Judes. My quilting buddies also like to make things for the homeless and the shelters. Some make quilts. I make quilts, hats just anything I can think of. We also save all the shampoo, soaps, etc from hotel rooms when we do any traveling and donate these to the shelters at the end of the year. We keep busy!
oops – yes steps 1 and 2 are complete and shared and I have shared on facebook 🙂
I’m learning the wonderful art of weaving and would so love to win this collection to work with! Thank you Chandi for this chance. : )
Spring shawl or wrap for the cooler evenings on the deck.

I’d knit pretty things for all my pretty nieces with all that pretty pretty yarn 😀
Hi Chandi! Thanx for the giveaway. I did #1 and #2 (was already subscribed) and now to tell you what I’d do if I was the winner…
First I’d probably squeel a bit and once it arrived I’d show all my knit/crochet group friends my new treasure. I have yet to make a sweater and was planning to soon so I think I’d make a sweater with a matchy scarf to wear with it. I usually make things for other people and my kids so it would be a double treat to win and make something for myself. And the hatbox would definitely become my new project box next to my chair. The cat gets too curious with my basket!
I have entered 1 and 2! Please pick me 😀 <3
done, done, done!
Would love to win! I would love to make a sweater or jacket mixing the textures and colours! Could be just gorgeous!!!
🙂
Hi
I did steps 1 & 2. I would love to use this yarn to weave a throw rug on my new loom.
Liked and posted, I would put this in my stash for my fast approaching retirement so I can still knit with beautiful yarns!
I’ve subscribed, and shared your gorgeous photo and contest info on Facebook.
My first thought for a project is a shawl, but I am also thinking perhaps a long vest? I wear a great deal of black, which would set off those colors beautifully.
Love your yarn, love your site. 🙂
Steps 1 and 2 done! I have not yet bought yarn from your shop, as I have only just started following you. But it looks absolutely beautiful and if I were to win, I would make a beautiful free form crochet creation and send pic’s for you to use on your website – if you liked it that is 🙂 Thanks for your inspiration.

I’m envisioning some fabulous toe-up socks and a scarf or two from these scrumptious yarns!
I did all the steps. wow, I would LOVE to win this! I have never won anything in a raffle like this before.
I would make a prayer shawl for my sick friend with some of the yarn, and then I make her a Chemo hat, and then if there was any left over, I’d make a scarf for her sister.
Beautiful yarn!
thanks for the give-a-way!
Have done steps 1 and 2. Would love to incorporate your lovely yarns into needlefelting and knitting projects 🙂
I have completed #1 & 2 as requested. I am thinking some lovely fingerless mits with part, and socks or shawlette/scarf with the other, or both. 🙂 I just got some beautiful patterns from ravelry website!
So, steps 1 & 2 done. So for step 3…I see some knit mittens and a hat for my little girl, a crochet cover for my kindle and I’d like to start making some of the puzzle pieces from Megan Ellinger’s autism awareness blanket. All in all, a lot to keep me busy and my needles click-clacking!
I did steps 1 and 2. When the yarn arrives, I’ll nuzzle and snuggle it, speak softly and lovingly to it, and coax it to tell me what it wants to become!
I completed steps one and two. I have a tunisian crochet scarf pattern in mind for two of the yarns. I love to work with yummy yarns and see what they can become.
I did both 1 and 2. The yarn I would use first for my two granddaughters – they love mitts. Then my two daughters – they like mitts, socks and shawls. I take what’s left because I’ll get the most enjoyment out of fondling, smelling and of course working with your scrumptious yarn! Thanks! 🙂
I completed the steps. I would probably ooooh and aaaaaah over the yarn for a while then create a new scarf or hat pattern to show off the yarn…or a shawl…or may be a shrug….. OK, I will oooh and aaaaah until I am inspired to create
I have a bunch of yarn already but yours always looks so beautiful Chandi! So many patterns on Ravelry but I think a shawl is in order soon!
Wow! Gorgeous – truly like a dream come true if I were to win! I would use two-three of the skeins to knit a multiple-colored shawl – I favorited a pattern of Romi Hill’s the other day that I would knit! I would make a purplish hat for my mom (purple is her favorite color). I would then go through the rest and maybe share with a dear friend or go through Ravelry and find the perfect matches for these beauties. Thanks for the chance to win!! I did both tasks you asked – was already a subscriber & posted to FB.
I did both 1 & 2. I will probably make a shawl. Fingers crossed!
I would love to make something gorgeous to wear this Spring , those colors are amazing!

The yarn looks delicious! I can’t wait to start knitting with it!
I have a friend who recently lost her husband to cancer. She is now having a rough financially as well as emotionally. I want to give her this yarn as she will be unable to buy yarn for quite some time.
Oh my goodness!! I did 1 & 2, & tweeted!! And honestly, I’d probably spend the first week of owning this just holding it & stroking the pretty!
did steps 1 & 2, will use this yarn to get a head start on Christmas gifts!
I think I would first roll in it, then I would definitely make a new outfit or two for my daughter. I would probably make a purse using some of that sari silk, and perhaps a cowl or scarf too. Love the box as well! Thanks so much for the chance to win. I shared on my facebook page!
Completed all the steps. Not sure what I would make with this but I’ll have to search my patterns or find some new ones to use this lovely yarn.
Did all the steps and really want to win. I would make lace fingerless gloves and I don’t know what else!
Steps 1 and 2 = check
What I would do with this yarn? Your yarn will speak to me and tell me what I am going to transform it into. Your yarn is spectacular. I can only hope that the random number picker thingy picks me!!!
I would simply hold it for a while. Enjoying the feel of wonderful yarn. Then let the yarn tell me what it should be when it grows up.
Steps 1 and 2 are done. I can’t afford to buy a lot of hand dyed and hand spun yarn to use in my sock knitting shop. This would be awesome, the colors are so beautiful. I’d love to indulge myself for a change and create something really wonderful.
I follow you on Facebook, your yarns look wonderful!
I am not sure what I do with the yarn but I might share some with my sister or just have her make me stuff with the yarn. We both work with yarn but she knits much faster than I do so I think maybe she should make stuff for me.
Hi Chandi, I’m already subscribed so I did step 2. I’d make an item of some kind for myself & then make beanies & bootees for charity or the maternity ward at our local hospital.
I would love to have this yarn! I love the colors! I would knit hats and scarves for next fall’s country store at my Quaker meeting which raises money for local homeless folks, and overseas missions.
I have done my first two steps! I would like to win because it is the perfect color. I would make a shawl and a hat( my goal is to knit 100 different hats). Truly beautiful yarn.
Have done both. Would have to search for what to make, maybe hats or cowls.
Did all steps and would love this yarn. One project I would do would be a scarf for a friend who just had breast cancer surgery.
If I win this hatful of yarn I’d knit baby blankets with it!
I’ve shared n done all the steps… love the colours you have chosen… ummm what will I make… descisions… thanks for the opportunity… Bethel <3
Depends on the yarn, but I’ll definitely knit something beautiful!
If I win this yarn, I will make all my Xmas gifts with it and post it on my blog as each project finishes! 😉
Steps 1 and 2 complete! 🙂 Would love this yarn and would make shawls, scarves, or embellish some summery tanks with it! Woo Hoo! The possibilities are endless!
I posted to FB!!! Gonna be day dreamin about that lovely hat box by my door step! <3 <3 my handsome puppy could rock a new spring sweater!!
Yes I compketed steps 1&2…postes on my facebook page.
I love the colors and ny knitting guild would love to
get this yarn as a donation for our member’s monthly raffle.
If they dont get it afterwards I can always knit or crochet
scarf.
Liked & Posted! I would use the yarn to make something special for myself. I make prayer shawls and give them away and I never make anything for myself, so just this once, I’d like to treat myself to something nice. 🙂
I did both steps to win the hatbox of yarn. I hope I win, I will cherish it and stash it, and use it in my KAL’s I like to do and make something really yummy and soft for my sister to wear too. I think there is enough to do all that. I hope I win, I hope I win, I hope I win……… 🙂

What would I do with such a windfall? Teach myself how to make lacy knits with the finer yarns. I have tended to choose bulkier yarns since they knit up quickly and deliver that wonderful feeling of accomplishment that much faster. However, with really wonderful soft silky yarns, why rush when you can prolong the pleasure?
Your yarn is so beautiful. I would love to make some scarves. A bit tired of knitting with Red Heart. Of course I might get spoiled knitting with better quite yarn. Lol
Did steps one and two. I can’t wait to make little animals and lovies for my girls! I love making them stuff!
Oooh, Aahhhh….Delicious yarn. I would make cowls and hats and maybe some socks. Thanks for the chance 🙂
Still learning how to knit – this would give me all sorts of inspiration!
Liked and posted and subscribed – hoping to win!
I’m still a novice…but totally addicted! Randomly PICK ME! 🙂
I did steps 1 and 2!
Tweeted it! I would use this yarn to make fabulous items out of yarn and love for the people I love!
I did steps one and two! If I win this box of yarn I would make gifts for my whole family! I dream of buying your yarn some day but since I’m currently not working and have a 4 month old, I can’t afford it just yet. I will someday though! And I can’t wait!
Hi Angela,
Yvette here. If I win, I will share with you!
I did both steps above. I see some beautiful fingerless gloves and hat to match and maybe a shawl.
First, some ooohing and aaahing is in order. Then I promise to find some project worthy of the yarn. I love making scarves and cowls for my friends – and I like to be a little funky with them. Like with cooking, you know. I don’t do socks, period.
Before I got to this section, I accomplished both 1 and 2. I am a good direction follower!
Completed steps 1 and 2.
And what would I do with this yarn. Probably spend at least a week or two (or three) petting it. Then I’d start early with Christmas for all those special friends and family who love handknit items.
I did all that you asked goddess of hand dyed yarn, shared the info and posted to your blog! 🙂
Steps 1 and 2 done.
After I got over the shock of having won, I’d display the hat box in a prominent spot. Then I’d have to research patterns to find that something special that would be a constant reminder of the fact that I WON!
Completed all the steps. I’d be in heaven if I won this yarn! I would make a few baby items for our baby girl arriving in August!
I will knit beautiful hats for babies with some of the treasure box.
I signed up and shared it on facebook! and If I got this box of yarn I would love to make gifts for my family and friends! being a poor college student free stuff is my passion!
I liked and shared………….. and I really like the prize……… but that I shall not share if I win………. well I will share a photo of what I make with it!!
I was already registered, and I shared with all my Yarnaholic friends. If I won, I’d knit up some super cute socks for me, and most of the fun bright yarn would go towards the local hat charity that my friends and I crochet for. My daughter will get a pair of mittens for her Christmas stocking, my husband will get new gloves, and any bits of the scrap yarn gets cut and put outside for the birds to make nesting materials with! <3
Crossing my fingers!
I have so many projects I’d like to do. That lovely yarn would make some a reality. Now that I’ve done all your steps, all I can do is wait.
I did what you asked! Please pick me!!!!!!
Hi Chandi, done 1 and 2, what I would do with your lovely yarn, I would make socks on my Erlbacher Gearhart circular sock knitting machine, it is a reproduced 1924 Gearhart machine and I have the first one in Canada and your yarn has come the furthest to be knit on my machine. I am on my way to Cape Girardeau, Missouri today from Aurora, Ontario Canada, we are taking my machine home to a crank-in, ie, what others call a convention, Hope I can share your yarn with others,
I did steps one and two and told everyone how you always know how to appeal to the senses with your colors and textures, and told them if they knit or crochet to check you out!!!! ‘Cause well, your awesome! ’nuff said’
What pretty yarn! I tweeted and posted on facebook. Let’s see, what would I do… A cute bag, pouch, scarf… I don’t know. There are so many choices! Something for myself though! Well, maybe something cute for my girls too.
Hi Chandi!
I completed all the steps and I would love the yarn. The past year I have been busy teaching crocheting to middle school girls who are making things for charity and making baby blankets for relatives, so I think I would make something for myself out of this beautiful yarn. I have osteo arthritis and fibromyalgia, so…maybe a shawl or socks or fingerless glovess or all of the above. 🙂 Love your yarn!
Done! What to do? I’m thinking a wrap or two would be lovely. Or maybe a few scarves. Or something for my daughters. Oh, so many choices!!!
Subscribed, Liked and posted on FB!!!! :))) I will be knitting Christmas presents!! :))
I will make lovely baby items which I love to do. I also can make others, like headbands, mofits, purses, hats, dresses etc… crossing my fingers to win :0 )
Steps one and two have been completed. I would like to use this yarn for either a top, like a tank or cardigan, or socks or hats or scarves. Maybe even some soft slippers. Hmmmm… So many options. 🙂
Already a subscriber, and I shared the post on Facebook. Love your yarns!
Hi I completed 1 and 2 if I won I would create a beautiful shawl. I love wraps and shawls and I’m always working on one or more at a time with others in my head that I want to make, I give all the shawls I make as gifts.
Thank you.
I completed steps one and two. If I won this yarn I would make hats, cowls and gloves or mittens. Oh, and I would probably spend hours researching the appropriate patterns.
I both liked and shared this contest 🙂
I have a new grandchild on the way, so once I have yarn in my hands, I shall either make something for my daughter or for my new grandchild…or both!
It would probably sit there in the box until the yarn spoke to me!
I did both steps!! I love your yarn. It is so pretty.
Step 1 and 2 done. I see a shawl or two in that hat box! 🙂 Love purple.
I’ve completed 1 & 2. I would love to experiment with all those luscious colors and fibers, both knitting and crocheting.
I have done the other steps and now, as for what I would do with this yarn…..It is ridiculous, but for the first couple of weeks, I would look at it, rearrange it, enjoy the colors and textures, and just let images slowly form in my mind as to what I coukdcdo with them. Of course, then I would have to downsize those images to something which will lork with my limited skills (at least at this point).
I would make a beautiful shawl to wrap around my momma to keep her warm!
Posted to facebook (and liked your page), posted to twitter. First, I’d try to do the Snoopy dance. And I’d tell everyone what great yarn it is. Then I’d have the very hard task of deciding what to make first.
Done!
If I win I would make something for me this time ^_^
I waaant this! It will go directly in my stash for a project that speaks to me!
So excited I forgot to say I already did steps 1 and 2! 😉
Did steps 1 & 2. Would crochet some beautiful items for my grand daughter and friends if I win this yarn.
I would be so happy , I would have to tell my friends. I would have to touch each one (might let might friends look and touch too ) and think about what it should be – and then plan the projects. Depending on the amount of each type I would like to try more socks, probably fingerless mittens and not sure what else. I love slippers too – if there is the right kind of yarn for the ones I make. I’ve been wanting to try a summer top – so if there was enough to use or combine that might be an option too.
Forgot to say that I have done both steps – oops
What a wonderful thing to win – oh my – I am already planning things to knit with such decadent yarn !!
Done and done! I’m on a Victorian kick so I think I’d like to try making a lace choker and (maybe) fingerless gloves with the dark purple. There are a couple birthday requests for shawls and amigurumi. Honestly, I’ll probably change my mind a hundred times before I’m finished! ^_^!
Wow- Free Yarn like yours/ I would have to make something special- maybe my 1st afghn…or a new shawl that I JUST downloaded the pattern for….:-)
Hi Chandi,
I completed both steps.
I would use the yarn to make covers for my friends’ tablets. They are awkward measurements and covers are just not available.
Hope I win, because I just love your yarn!
would have to see the colors and then feel the yarn to decide what to do with it 🙂
I love your yarn. So many choices
Forgot to say what I’ll do with all these lovelies! Cherish them for a bit until they speak to me in pairs, singly or all at once. I remember this afghan made with all different textures and varying stitches and patterns that make for the most beautiful works of art. Maybe together we’ll create something spectacular.
OMG – I love your yarns!!!!! I will make a striped vest for MOI (as Miss Piggy would say) because I love yarn!!!
Hi Chandi! I followed instructions and did steps 1 and 2.
I have a friend who is recovering from a stroke that I would like to make a shawl and a top for. I have another friend who is scheduled for surgery and I wanted to make her a comfort throw. I have another friend who is a knitter and crocheter and I wanted to make something nice for her as well. As K’ers and / or C’ers we often overlook each other when it comes to hand made gifts.
Liked and shared on Face book, and leaving my comment now here.
If I win, I will knit like crazy and share with my “Stitch and Bitch” session buddies.
I did steps 2 and 3. I’d love to experiment making luscious little bags with these yarns. Thanks for having such a nice giveaway. Love your yarns.
Did both steps. My friend katy directed me. Depends on the yarn, but I have found a cool and easy neckwarmer pattern that bears reknitting…..
Liked and shared
I’ve done both! Oh the projects I could do: hats, scarfs, shawls, headbands…so many things
I have completed Steps 1. and 2. If I won I would either give the yarn to knitting friends for birthday gifts or donate the yarn to the Charity Knitting Group at First Presbyterian.
Completed steps 1 and 2. I love the beaded yarn-thinking of all kinds of ways to use it. Purple is my favorite color-I painted the walls of my craft room purple! Hope the random number generator gods smile on me…

I’d make a scarf and some hats for next winter. One can never have too much yarn, especially yummy natural yarns 🙂
I love these colours…toddler sweater and one for me could be arranged…and I shared this on Facebook.
Well, first, I’d stare and stare at all the gorgeous yarn. And then I’d feel it, probably pet it, and hold it. I’d probably do this for a few days. Then I’d start making big plans for it. I’m seeing a shawl or two in the yarn’s future, or perhaps a shrug. Such cheery colors would be yummy to wrap myself in! Mmmm… Scrumptious!
I am already subscribed and just shared on fb…..I would have fun knitting scarves, shawls, mitts and whatever else the yarn inspired me to create.
love to knit and love your blog hopefully it will be me

I would love to win this month’s yarn! Thank you to my friend Lisa for sharing on Facebook!
Totally want to make socks or leggings, or anything! Anything would be beautiful with this yarn!
I completed steps 1 and 2. I would make different things as gifts for my friends, or for fundraising. And maybe one or two things for myself.
I did both steps – now am hoping to be able to use it to make a beautiful lacy scarf !!!
I did both so please enter my name in the contest.
I would have to determine what to do with the yarn after seeing it. But I love to knit shawls not only for myself but also for my friends.
Thanks!
Shared! Pick me! =)
2 & 3 Done. Pick Me.
I see the yarn as socks, fingerless gloves, shawl, cowl. Final selection after squishing the yarn, finding just the right pattern, etc.
I liked, sent and shared. Of course I’d like to receive that box of yarn. I’d feel it, touch it, and hesitate to choose a pattern, because I’d only get to make it once. It would have to be special! When I find that special pattern, I’ll knit it fast to see it done!
I did both Steps 1 and 2 and the possibilities for projects are endless. I see scarves, soft clothing and so many more.
Oh how I pine for you oh beautiful, wonderful box of yarn! You would warm my hands, heart, head and home upon your arrival at my door. You would never be board as you are formed into a further work of art, for you are art onto itself oh beautiful hat box of yarn!! I love thee!!! <3
Did both steps one and two….maybe make me a vest and scarf for these still cool nights here in Saskatchewan….
Did both steps, 1 and 2. I would happily pay it forward with lots of yarn! Thanks for the chance!
Hello,
I did steps 1 and 2, and if I win this gorgeous yarn, I would experiment with some modular knitting. I think the colors and textures would be outstanding in some modular-knit small projects.
I completed all of the steps…I hope I win…would love to crochet all kinds of great stuff with this 🙂
Infinity scarves and or socks! I love knitting and as an actor it’s a great time passer on set and back stage! I love knitting socks because they are so casy to carry around on a commute. I have discovered Entrelac and infinity scarves. I put the two together and l love the results!
I’d make another Cowl or scarf because that’s my new addiction lol!
I have been on your site for awhile and i love it….If I win it will be a prayer shawl or knit chemo hats or baby hats for charity…
Steps 1 and 2 completed. With this lovely yarn, I would make a scrumptious, cosy shawl for my twin sister. Thank you.
I did 1 and 2 above and would love to get such a lovely package in the mail. It would make a most beautiful sweater for my 90 year old mother 🙂
I did steps 1 & 2. If I win this yarn it really depends on what yarn is in there as to what I do. We just got a new addition to the family, my nephew Jordan, whom I want to make something meaningful for him to keep through the years (thinking an amigurimi bear). I am also making 2013 Christmas a year of handmade gifts. So this yarn will go a long way towards gifts for my family.
I liked and shared on fb…I would love to win this yarn…what would I do with all of it…hmmm….probably some beautiful scarves, cowls, maybe a hat…I would use some of the yarn as “just because” gifts because I like to knit things and give them to someone…as I said, I would love to win this yarn!
I completed Steps 1 and 2. I would knit like crazy if I won.
I did #1 and #2… yay!! I would make scarves, hats, shawls. I love to knit and crochet.
The yarns are just yummy. What fun to make up beautiful gifts for my children from a surprise assortment.
Steps 1 & 2 complete!
I would love to make myself a shawl with these gorgeous yarns! Thank you!
Like AND tweeted! I make gloves and hats to give to children at the school where I am a “grandma reader”. We live in a small town and there are a lot of students that need gloves and winter hats.
I would make a shawl, by adding this yarn to the ones I have collected so far. I already store my yarn in hat boxes!
😀
OOPS! I did complete steps 1 and 2! I got too excited!
Dear Chandi, If I win, I will sit in silent contemplation of the yarn trove and allow the spirit voices to whisper to me what I should do with it. I can’t wait to find out!! Eva
I would make fairies and gnomes with this..,and give them to my granddaughter in the hatbox!
Oh…I did steps 1&2
Socks for the homeless.
After I lovingly petted each soft, pretty skein, I would really like to make myself a breathtaking shawl/wrap…I never make things for myself, and Lord knows my wardrobe could use a pick-me-up!
I subscribed and shared this amazing opportunity! If I were to win I would use the yarn to make beanies and/or practice making clothes since I haven’t tackled crocheting clothes yet. This is an amazing deal! 😀
I would mix and match into a lovely Bohemian summer night shawl!
I would like to make a sweater and several cowls!
oooh that yarn looks so lovely! I just learned how to knit in the round with dpns so I would probably make lots and lots of baby hats!
With all those skeins, I would knit socks, scarves, hats, cowls, etc. I really love your dye jobs along with all the gorgeous photos.
Completed the steps and if I won I would make a purse or two, some scarves and with the remnants I would make some bracelets.
I don’t know what exactly I’d do, but i do like to knit socks and fingerless gloves and hats. So that’s probably what I’d do.
Oops forgot to say that I did 1 & 2, I would make beautiful socks for the homeless!
I want to thank you for having this contest! Secondly, I would probably make a really nice shawl with this lovely yarn!!
I already get your emails 🙂
I shared the contest on Facebook.
I would use this yarn to knit items for my family. We recently lost our grandmother and she knitted and crocheted. This would be in her memory.
I would use the wool for felting. Purse or boiled wool jacket if there is enough wool yarn. And many fun goodies.
I forgot I did the first 2 steps also!
Not sure exactly what I’d do with it… I’d have to feel it and squeeeeeeze it first 🙂
I’d definitely share the love though 🙂
What a great prize this would be !! Hats, cowls, fingerless mitts…..hmmmm have to touch and see to decide.!!! Hope they are destined for me !!!!
I did all the steps and want to win! First thing I’d do with all that yarn is squeeze and cuddle it a bit 🙂

Thank you again for a chance to win and if I don’t then I will be happy for the one who does.. Pamela
I am a subscriber so I posted on facebook. I will use this yarn to knit myself and my daughter something special depending on how much yarn there is. Most likely a scarf or hat.
Shared, liked, did everything. 🙂
I’m just as excited about the hat box as I am the yarn! If I win this, I will knit myself something light and summery because I never make myself anything. And the hat box will go in my sewing room for a nice decorative touch.

Steps 1,2 and 3 done 🙂 Not sure what I do with it, but I am positive I could crochet up something pretty 🙂
Some of the beautiful yarn I would keep for myself – perhaps a scarf or shawl or a tank top and some I would share with my daughter who is just starting to learn how to knit and would so enjoy some really beautiful yarn to inspire her needles.
I have done all the steps, and I see shawls in that hat box!
I did both steps 1 and 2. I would love to make a summer shawl and some small baskets to put my jewelry in at the end of the day
I did both steps one and two!!! What would I do with the yarn???? oh man, shawls, socks, fingerless gloves, you name it!
Wow,I would love to win this great prize! I would use it for weaving. 🙂
1 and 2 done!
All is done, and I would be very creative if I won 🙂
I think I did both steps – still unsure about doing these things. What would I make? I really don’t know without first doing the feely, touchy thing, but as a pensioner I’d certainly appreciate these very special yarns, and I have 6 granddaughters who love my knitting.
I have completed all the required steps. With this fantastically beautiful yarn, I would curl up in my recliner with a good cup of coffee and make sure everyone I know has warm hats, mittens and scarves for next winter and ensure anyone who had new babies would be able to share in the beauty of this yarn in booties and little mittens as well. I would absolutely lOVE to have this yarn!
I love to crochet scarves and wrist-warmers! The colors of these yarns are beautiful, and I can already see the lacy crochet scarves I could make! 🙂
Oh and I did share this on my FB page (Sonchyenne Boutique). 🙂
Like and posted. I would use the yarn for scarves.
Done & done. I would weave something beautiful just for me.
I’m already subscribed and I shared on facebook! I’d love to win all this pretty yarn! I’m just learning to crochet and have a new book of projects that I would love to make with this yarn if I win!
Done…and done!
I would use these yarns in a triangle shawl woven on a triangle loom. Anything not used for the shawl would go to making a scarf, neckwarmer and/or fingerless mitts.
I would love to win this hat box full of yarn, but I don’t have either a facebook account or twitter account. Guess that means those of us without either of these can’t enter. Too bad we can’t enter.
I completed Steps 1 and 2. I really don’t know what I would make, but I have lots and lots of patterns.
I have completed steps 1 and 2 (unless my computer throws another temper tantrum and refuses! This happens to me. My wool is much better behaved!) My plan, unless the yarn itself has other ideas, is to make some items to add to a fundraiser for my good friend’s 25th b-day party. Her life hasn’t always been easy at all, and I’d like to help her have an amazing quarter-century celebration.
I would crochet something for myself or my daughter maybe a wrap for spring or cooler summer days.
I love yarn especially blues, purples and greens. I have been knitting like crazy lately. I was inspired by your efforts with the Hitchhiker pattern so I made two of them. Now I am making a teddy bear for my 1st Grandson. Would love to make him a sweater, hats, mittens etc. for him, I think you can follow me here.
I forgot to say that I did steps one, two, and three. I just got carried away with the yarn, I to love it.
I subscribed, and posted to facebook. What would I do with the yarn? Knit up a bunch of very cool stuff!!! 🙂

Love the colors of this yarn. Did both one and two. I would use it to make my niece some graduation gifts. She will be graduating from Elon in May.
1 and 2 are completed and I’m crossing everything possible, including my children’s limbs hoping I win. I think I would finally make something for myself. I’ve been crocheting for about three years, and have made nothing for myself. I have a shrug pattern I want to do…. but have yet to find the perfect yarn.
Liked and shared. If I were to win this yarn I would make beautiful scarves or shawls to gift to my family. I have used your yarn and I love it!
liked and posted!! Can’t wait to win!!!
Liked and shared! I would love to have this yarn to make some awesome leg warmers for my 20 month old daughter!!!

And I did steps one & two
Did both Steps 1 and 2 and I’ll be making some wonderful gifts if I win this yarn. 🙂
Subscribed, shared, and if I won? I’d start by snorggling all that yarn, then making myself a delicious shrug out of that purple yarn, and then spend hours going through Rav trying to find the perfect project for the other yarn!
Liked and posted. Will crochet cowls for friends and family. Hopefully won’t give them all away and keep one for myself.
I’ve done step one and two,
Onto step three!
I’d most likely make a shawlette or something of the likes ^__^
I did both! Love your yarn!
what would I do with all that yummy yarn? Lets see, I want to make an afghan for my art studio, I’d love to try some sweater patterns I have. A lot depends on the weight of the yarn – that will determine the type of project.
Did both steps. I will knit it, love it and call it George.
I subscribed and shared this….hoping to win for my mom! Great Mother’s Day gift!
Hi Chandi

I have done steps one and two. I would use the yarn to make A shawl for my no for when she goes to Colombia in South America. It gets chilly at night.
I did both steps 1, and 2!
If I had the yarn, I’d hope that I could get my blogging mojo back and I’d gush all about it. 🙂
And I’d probably send some of the stash to a few friends who could really use the pick-me-up, and fiber inspiration as badly as I do.
I liked and tweeted (@emvark)! I am not sure if I’d knit a sweater or something with it, or use it for crochet, which I’ve just learned this winter to do!! Such pretty colours 🙂
What would I do with this treasure trove? I see some beautiful scarves in my future. I hope you see them too!
I did forget to mention that I completed steps 1, 2 and 3. Pick me! Pick me!
Hi, I would love to win this. I posted to fb and shared with my cousin. I just finished a baby blanket for my niece, a scarf for a friend, I’m looking for something for my granddaughter and I – something we both can have and I think this yarn would be perfect! Maybe matching shawls or cowls?
I love the colors you’ve been posting on facebook!
Are you coming to Maryland’s Sheep and Wool Festival in May??
Steps 1 and 2 completed. I’d love to add this to my yarn stash. I’m not sure what I’d make until I hold it in my hands and feel it. Chandri, thank you for the opportunity of entering this terrific contest. You are so generous.
I completed the steps! If I win the yarns I would love to knit some scarves and hats. As a broke college student it’s always fun to have the chance to win some quality yarn! Thanks for doing this! 🙂
Hi! I completed steps 1 and 2, first tried on my phone…then on PC to be sure it went through! If I were to win this yarn, I would create a couple of hats with this new pattern from the Crochet Geek, and continue with my obsession with entrelac crocheted lapgans….So! you see I am ready to create.
I have filled in the correct details to enter your competition because I would LOVE to win the wool – I would use it to make items for sale to raise money for water and food for children in Africa. I make scarves, toys, and mixed media art – I think your yarns are ideally suited for mixed media art work, weaving and knitting small specialist items.
I have completed steps 1 and 2. If I won I would make sweaters for my grandchildren 🙂
Oh my what would I do with it? Pet it, and stroke it, love it, and treat like the beautiful fiber it is!
I completed steps 1 & 2. I would knit the yarn into gifts for my mom and sister.
P.S. and I did do steps 1 and 2!
I’d love to say I will use the yarn for others and to be charitable. However this one time I want to me selfish and make something for me, everything I make is always gifted/donated
I did both steps

Ooh! Liked & posted. I would share the yarn with my 7 year old daughter, who loves to have mama and girl knit-alongs. 🙂
Posted on Facebook and on Twitter. I love trying out all types of new yarn and new techniques. Depending on the weight of the yarn, I’m looking forward to creating a beautiful shawl, scarf or cowl from it. I’m hoping to create a beautiful evening shawl for my daughter’s prom.
I believe I would hold it and feel it until it tells me what it wants to be…like I always do with beautiful yarn. (And, yes, I completed steps 1 and 2) Thanks for the opportunity!
I did both Steps 1 and 2. The wool and silk would make a lovely sweater.
OH Chandi! I would LOVE to win this!!! I would make lovely things for my 7yr old son, 2 granddaughters, and little grandson…maybe even something for my mama, the great grandma!!! Thank you for such a wonderful, generous opportunity!!! :0)
Pick me – I just love yarn, yarn, any yarn. I’m a yarnaholic. I do make many things like shawls, wraps – just going to try and beaded shawl with a Laura Nelkin design. Oh yeah – if only I had more time.
Oh my. What would I do with all this deliciousness. I have recently decided to try learning stranding (Fair Isle) knitting, and really need a good amount of natural fibre to try and get some projects under my belt. I’ve found some lovely hats which are in two colours, and would use most of the yarn to make several of those. The fun yarn would require something special, I’d really like to try a pair of mittens out of that.
Oops! Sorry, I forgot to say that I am already subscribed and this is now on twitter 🙂
I have signed up and put on facebook. What would I do with a free hat box of yarn?? Hhhmmmm I would first share with my yarn friends. Make hats for charity. Depending on whats in there maybe keep and make myself something. But sharing with others or being able to make something special for someone in need means more than something for myself!
I have done the two previously required steps, now to the matter of knitting…. Mmmm,I absolutely looove the colors! I could make a beautiful shawl for my daughter and myself, she just enjoys wearing my projects so much!,

Have done steps one and two. Would love to make just about anything with this yarn, if I win I will have to decide 🙂

I have completed steps one and two. I have several patterns for baby sweaters, hats and booties/shoes that would be so cute using these yarns. Then would make one of my bears to go with the set. A kid’s got to look good and have fun, right? ;). Thank you for offering this giveaway. I do look forward to your blog!
I already subscribe, so I did 2 and 3 and one word of mouth. I love your yarns, so I try every chance I get to win some! If I were to win this months give a way, I would keep the hat box, it is so cute! And then I would divide the yarn evenly and give some to a local mental health organization that I attended where there is a Stitch and Bitch, and I am aware of other women who are not able to ever afford yarn of this quality. I would ask a case manager to give it away without my name being involved, and I would crochet at home with mine and some new hooks that a friend bought me to bring joy back into crocheting.
Completed steps 1 and 2. If I won I would make my daughter and niece all kinds of pretty things 🙂
I completed steps 1 and 2! If I win this box I will probably gift 1 or 2 skeins and then use the rest to MAKE gifts! So many new babies on the way!
I have completed steps one and two. I love to win this box of yarn so I could crochet more things for my two lovely daughters.

She is the one who got me intersted in crochet by making both my children gorgous baby blankets and then taught me how when I expressed interest in learning! 🙂 I will use the rest to crochet something beautiful for our baby girl.
Completed steps 2 & 3. I would love to win this, I love your yarn.. And have alot of projects to make with it if I win..:)
wrote my email and shared on Facebook, really would love to win the box!
This would be amazing to win! I’d have to wait until the yarn spoke to me before I could decide what I’d make, though 🙂
I did all the steps and would love to win this yarn.
I think I would spend a large amount of time petting the soft, then move on to crocheting heavenly shawls….
I have done steps 1 and 2 and I NEED to win this yarn!! We are moving in July but we need to show the house very soon, so I had to pack almost everything, including my precious yarn and now I only have the few skeins I’m working on at the moment. It’s driving me crazy and making me sad not to see my yarn. I need to win this box so I can look at beautiful yarn again and touch it and fondle it and carry it around the house wherever I go. And I have a daughter, so I’m sure I will find all kinds of cute projects to make for her with this yarn. Right after I’m done fondling it 🙂
Hey Chandi….i would be using it in my fibre-arts
Hey Chandi! I did 1 & 2, tweeted, and FB’ed! Your yarns are so lovely – love the colorways! I’d love to make matching sweaters for my new grand-daughter as she approaches her first birthday and one for her mama as well! But there are so many possibilities…who knows, but I do know I’d love to win!! Cheers! Ann
Done and done. Already a subscriber so I shared the contest on my page. If I win I will stick my face in all the yarny goodness. Then I’ll knit something, although I don’t know what I’ll make.
Step 1 and 2 are done. I live the beautiful colors of all the yarn! I found out about 5 months ago I have MS. What a blow! Ive had to quit my job as city bus driver and that was hard because i loved my job. So things have changed and i needed to find a hobby. I have always loved to crochet and sew. So my plan is to make baby blankets for preemie babies. My oldest daughter was born at 1 pound 6 ounces and 3months early. This was 30yrs ago! So to sew a blanket with crochet edges and crochet a hat and booties to match is 1 goal that I have this year. Thank you for a chance to win this yarn and to make it apart of my goal! Mary 🙂
I did steps 1 and 2. I would make some beautiful shawls and scarfs with this!
Done and done 🙂
First I will squeal, then I will jump up and down, then when I get the yarn I will stare at it until what it wants to be leaps out at me, and then I will delight in knitting the yarn’s destiny.
And yes, I have completed the steps 🙂
I would just love to try these yarns, I would make some baby sweaters or a shawl… such beautiful colors!
Jag har gjort steg 1 2 3. Jag älskar att sticka och vill göra något fint till mina barnbarn.
Done and done. I think this would need to be used for some rare adult knits here ♥
I have done both and if I was to win I would fondle and play with said yarn for a wee bit and then turn the pinks into a cowl for my daughter.
I’ve entered! I’ve signed up and shared on FB! I love yarn and have been on a serious diet the last year or so…but, I have moved into a new house with a room I’m going to set up especially as my yarn room/pattern writing office and I say bring on the yarn! I’d love to try it! And I even love love love the idea of the hat box! Pick me xxxxx
I have done both steps one and two 😀 I’d knit up some warm clothes for my kids for the winter
I followed steps 1 and 2. In fact, I sent a message directly to a friend who would be interested AND I posted to my timeline. PLUS I’ve sent you real-life customers already and they’ve ordered from you. I love your yarns and I really hope I win.
Hi Chandi, this is an amazing contest !!! Thanks !
What I would do ??? I would crochet hats, scarves, fingerless gloves… and be so happy !
Whoops! Forgot to add my website, and to say that I completed step 3 also (by commenting). While we’re at it, I’ll add my Ravelry page and say that I am also a designer and I teach knitting classes to some very yarn-addicted students. Thanks once again for your inspired color/yarn choices. They’re terrific to work with!
I would make a shawl of this beautiful yarn, and sweep it on my tired body, and then feel how life is wonderful to live with your colours!!!!
Forget to say that I did all the steps.
Have completed steps one and two, with those colours I see something squishy for my mum, my niece and just maybe for ME!
I have completed steps 2 and 3. I would love to win this to make myself some sort of winter creation. I am always making things for others, and I would love some sort of vintage knit for myself =)
I have complete 1-3, am excited to see who wins, and have plans for numerous projects if I win 🙂 I could sure use some colors and different types of yarns/fibers to complete the scarves I am making. In addition, there are new creations in the works… My daughter was just engaged and I would like to make something very special for her wedding day!
Hi,I have done all you asked, pleeease let me win…
I would crochet some hats, hats and more hats and maybe a cowl to keep my kiddies and me warm thru england’s chilly spring (so far..).
Hi there, steps 1&2 completed!
I am thinking about adding some knitted or crocheted elements to my next cushion ‘collection’ and would love to use your yarn to do it!
Big, beautiful, knitted bows – yay!
Clicked shared tweeted and crossed fingers not too easy to knit or crochet with fingers crossed but worth the effort. I would crochet up an amazing jacket for spring with this wool, I am doing the Craftsy course on Tunisian crochet and loving learning a new twist to my woolcrafting.
I have like and shared this contest, and I woould probably tat a shawl with all 8, skeins.
I have completed steps 2, and 3, and if I were lucky enough to win this beautiful hatbox full of yarn, and I would make items to sell for charity.
Shared and tweeted – I mostly knit socks and hats!
I knit and crochet a lot for charities but I would love to win, I think it’s about time I made something snuggly for myself!
I would be overjoyed and ecstatic to win something like this.
hi i have completed steps 1 and 2 and i would knit for baby new born preemies in the hospital where i live
Hi Carol,
My son was a preemie, but now is 15 and big and strong. I’ve recently taken up knitting again, and I’ve been thinking about trying to organize a knitting exchange for preemies between different locations. If you’re interested, let me know!
Rachelle
1 – Check
2 – Check
3 – Mmmmmm such yummy yarn! I love to knit shawls so, more than likely, this yummy yarn would find its way into a beautiful and warm shawl.
Completed steps 1 and 2 – now if I could just win this great prize I would make the most of it by knitting lots of nice scarfs, socks and kids knits for my grandchildren!
Knit, knit knit!!!
I love the way this girl invites us all into her life & her yarns are lovely.
cannot wait for more experiments
I have completed Steps 1 and 2. The yarn is so beautiful and the colours so stunning that if I win this hat box full, I will have to lay it all out and touch and admire it, then call in my knitting buddy and other close friends to admire it before I can even think of putting it on the needles. My friends are so supportive of my passion for knitting and crocheting, that I would feel remiss if I did not share this bounty with them.
Sent to both tweet and facebook. as a disabled veteran I take all donated yarn and make hat and mittens for the kids in my school district, many are so poor that the cost of a hat can be the difference between the hat or eating with any yarn that is still left I make fingerless gloves for our vetrans who are wheelchair bound (as I am now) because besides the wheel getting very cold in the winter, blisters and callouses are real issues. The vets also need lapghans so anyone looking for somewhere to donate the items they have made all counties have a V.A. local office and many areas have V.A, hospitals where items can be dropped off.
I have completed steps one and two. The yarns are wonderful and if my colors are correct I have beads already for a scarf. I can almost feel the texture of the lovely yarns.
I would wait until the yarn arrives to comb through all my patterns to choose what I’d make with it.
I have completed steps 2 and 3, not sure what I’d make. Depends on too many variables
I will make scarves and cowls with this fashionable yarn!!!!
Both steps complete! If I were to win this yarn I would make something for my daughter and granddaughter that match, maybe matching scarfs or hats. Love to see my two girls with stuff I made and better yet, love my two year old granddaughter says gramma made it for me!
What a fun idea. Free yarn and a hat box. Love it
1,2,3 done 🙂
I have completed boxes 1 and 2 as I am a subscriber already. I would make beautiful scarves that I would sell and promote you as I am going to do with the lovely wools I have already purchased. So nice to see different colourways and where you got the inspiration from. Love it.
As a mom of 5, I would absolutely LOVE this filled box to make something for MYSELF for once….everything is always for my kids or someone else. It will probably be a shawl for my brothers wedding in September. 🙂 pick me pick me!
And of course I did both steps 1 and 2…I was a little excited there…
I’m already subscribed, but just shared on Facebook. 🙂
I liked on Facebook – did steps 1 & 2
I would take this yarn everywhere I go and knit with it every spare moment & of course tell everyone where I won it!
I would love to win your fabulous yarn! I haven’t won anything in many years so it would be a real treat! I just received my first order of lace yarn and I can’t wait to knit it into a shawl!
Completed steps two and now three. I’m not sure what I would make with the yarn. It depends on the yarn thickness and yardage. Currently have 7 projects lined up to be completed [4 started, and 3 I already have the yarn]
I did steps 1 & 2 … and If i won this it would be a lovely birthday presssy … But i think with that lusiously yummy bright looking yarn i’d make some lovely wristwarmers , because i just made my first pair and i’m addicted and i want them in every color and thoes colors are some of the most delightfull i’ve ever seen !!! Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone !
Did steps 1 and 2. I would make a scarf and sweater for my new grand daughter with this beautiful yarn.
I would knit up some beautiful shawls for myself and maybe some gifts for friends.
I would share it with my daughter who is a fabulous tatter and I will knit with it.
The texture and colors could lead to so many wonderful knittings!!!
I’ve completed steps 1 & 2, would use some for charity and some for gifts for family and friends and just maybe sneak somethin in there for myself 😉
I’ve completed steps 1 and 2. I can see summer flowers in this hatbox, so
I think my first project would be a tank style top, then maybe a scarf to match.
The possibilities are endless!
Did both. Thanks for the chance.
I love making fingerless mitts and usually need only 1 skein to make them so I could make lots. Or sometimes when I see the yarn I know exactly what it wants to be. I also could use some to get started on Christmas gifts, it’s never toooooo early.
I love trying new yarns! I’ve started knitting gifts for next Xmas. This year will be a variety of scarves, shawls, socks etc
Did all the steps….I want to win this soooooo badly! Would make something for my grand daughter and my great grand daughter!! Thanks so much for the opportunity!
Posted and entered. That would be an awesome prize to win! 🙂
I’ve done steps one and two. If I win I would knit a lovely shawl for myself. I knit a lot of things for others, would love to dedicate something for myself, or maybe one of my teenage daughters.
Thanks for posting the contest! I did steps 2 and 3 and I think I’d like to make a wrap for my MIL.
I have done all the required steps. Thanks for the beautiful opportunity.
I have a shawl I want to do that takes at least 7 different yarns- this would be so perfect!!
I have done steps 1 & 2. I would LOVE to win this yarn! Not quite sure what I would do with it yet. I like to see/feel it & let the ideas start coming to me 🙂
Already get newsletter…..did other Steps…..wooo hooooo
Completed required steps. I will make a fabulous shawl. Cannot wait!
Did the steps requested and i would LOVE to try your yarn!! so far I’ve just been looking but maybe I’ll get lucky! Beautifuls yarns!
nice summer top
I love your yarn and I love hatboxes. This is the perfect prize. I would like to win and then post lovely knitted items to make you proud. I enjoy your site and have followed you from the start.
I’m gone knit big shawl for my yoga and méditation
I completed steps 1 and 2! If I win the yarn I will make hats and scarves.
If I got this box of deliciousness, I would share it with Bernadette and use some to make a baby hat for the new baby expected next month. The rest would most likely go into a shawl.
Steps 1 and 2 complete! If I won this yarn, I’d probably make a bunch of one-skein projects. Nearly instant gratification!
Such beautiful yarn. I almost didn’t want to share-more chance for.me to win! I can see many gifts for friends and family in my future!
I did step 1&2! 🙂 I love making hats, flower clips, and afghans for friends, especially for babies and children!
Have done the steps. I am a crocheter so I would probably make scarves or maybe a patchwork type of blanket.
I have completed steps 1 & 2. When it arrived I would hold it an squish it and pet it. I would take in all the lovely colour and textures, I would then go to ravelry
And start searching for just the right pattern to either knit or crochet.
Great! If I win this i will totally make something for my niece!!!!!!!! a blanket, a dress….oh! I dont knowww… it is superrr!
I have entered and i am almost drooling at the thought of this luscious wool (and i like the hat box too). Keep up the great work your doing, keeping people happy and content with beautiful products and being a constant source of inspiration. You are special Chandi. Cant decide between a shawl or sweaters for my little granddaughters
xoxo
I was already subscribe to this website. And also completed steps 1 and 2. I wouls love to wi to knit a sweaters for my grandbaby. Thanks
Done and done! Pick me, pick me! Oh, please, pick me!
What a great offer. I already get your emails and I shared the contest on Facebook. I can see that wonderful yarn being knit into a warm shawl. Thanks for the chance to win!
I signed up and shared on Facebook 🙂
I would love to make another EZ Baby surprise jacket. 🙂
Steps 1 & 2 completed and, as a weaver/spinner, what a great box of yarn to add to my collection ready to choose the next project!
Already subscribed, posted to FB
I think I would make a shawl or sweater for my daughter-in-law—she loves purple!
I have entered your amazing competition, and if I were to win, I would make a beautiful cardigan or jacket using all the different colours.
Hi Chandi!
I shared on FB and am already subscribed!
You make some Beautiful yarn! If I won this, I’d be making some scarves, hats, maybe a sweater.. anything that I thought would do the yarn justice. 🙂
I have no idea what I’ll do with it – probably make stuffed animals!
Who can resist a free hat box of yarn. I am interested in shawls right now so I would probably make some shawls for presents.
I would love to win this hat box full of yarn. Yarn tells you what it wants to be. I would wait to see and touch it to decide who best to show off it’s most inspiring aspects!
A nice person would probably use these yarns to make something for someone else. Or, a few someone elses. Me? I’d probably spend the first day or two just rubbing the soft yarns against my face and oohing and aahing. Then, I’d use it to crochet. Probably a comfort shawl or two.
Oops! I forgot to say that I did both steps 1 and 2. some days
Already subscribed and shared on twitter. My daughter has been begging me to knit her a blanket and if I win I’ll either not have any more excuses or I’ll have to teach her to make her own. 🙂
I would use it all together to create a scarf made with the GIANT Knitting needles! : )
Oh… This hatbox looks like the ultimate in selfish knitting– me, me, me! Lol!
Perhaps some cute summer tops, a nice early autumn shawl… Been thinking bout some fun and funky leg warmers, too!…the possibilities are endless… ^_^
I did both and I will share it with my daughters. Have to wait for it to tell me what I should make with it( Shawl, socks, wrist warmers?)
I’ve done all 3 steps… I would make several dresses with the yarns and some material that I have. I think a little girls dress with a finishing touch of crochet is absolutely stunning!!!
I have completed both steps and I have some amazing knit patterns for little girls Shirley Temple style dresses I would love to try out for my little ladies who are 3 & 4 =)
Thank you!
Already subscribed to your page. Shared on Facebook. Now I’m waiting with delicious anticipation to see if I’m the lucky winner. If I do win, I’ll knit up a hat, mitts, or some socks for my grandkids. And I’d love to share with some of my knitting friends. Thanks for your generosity.
I have done steps 1 and 2 now for 3. I would make the first thing ever for my self. I have a wonderful sweater to make for me but need yarn. This would do the trick.
I did all the steps and I hope I win. I am a new knitter and I will make something for summer, like a tank top. But what ever I make I will do my best to make the best use of this yarn!!
🙂
I completed step 1 and 2 thank you so much for this offer!!!
Done first two steps. Not sure, but I am sure whatever is made with this yarn, it will be pretty. 🙂
Hi Chandi,
What a generous and beautiful giveaway this month! I subscribed to your mailing list awhile ago and shared the contest on Facebook (there seemed to be a bit of a glitch though – it wouldn’t tell me I had already subscribed, and I got error messages). If I were to win the yarn, I would have to feel it and hold it and before I knew what purpose it might fulfill… I’ve been wanting to knit some fingerless mitts, so I might try something along those lines.
Thank you for your inspiration and generosity!
Rachelle
I did steps 1 and 2! I’m thinking I need a spring shawl and this yarn may be just right!
I’ve done it all, subscribed, shared and commenting now. Please enter me in your giveaway. I’ve seen you amazing yarn close up and would love to win a basketfull to create lovely shawls or coverups with! Thank you!
All done! I would probably make shawls/scarves or hats. I am obsessed with accessories!
Completed both steps 1 and 2. Currently have a passion for free form crochet items – working on flowers… maybe for some boho style apparel.
Completed Steps 1 & 2. Now to dream about this beautiful fibre…….. hats, socks, mitts, shawl.. The wool will speak to me when I get it. thanks a bunch 🙂
Steps 1 & 2 complete. What would I do? Haven’t a clue. I rarely keep anything for myself. Ideas come to me as I wind the skeins, feel the yarn and see the play of light. My fantasy is making something utterly ridiculous for a couple of soldiers I know who are “down range”, but I wouldn’t – have to stay within the lines of what is acceptable. Maybe when they come back and can have something joyous.
completed steps 1 & 2 – I would make lap robes and baby blankets and then give them to our Quilting group at church to give to the Hospice center for their clients and to the Domestic Violence center for their clients.
Please change my reality and gimme!
Oh and I did steps 2 and 3, already subscribed , love you blog.
I have completed steps 1 and 2. If I win this yarn, I can imagine lots of scarves, shawls and maybe even socks with these beautiful colors. Thank you for the chance to enter.
Hi
Steps 1 an 2 done. I will do make something special. An then give it away.
Step 1 & 2, done. I would love to make a shawl. fingers crossed.
I completed both requirements, I love your yarn. I’m really in scarves right now so that’s mostly the future for any yarn I receive/win 🙂
I’m going to try patterns that challenge me…I’m a newer knitter- within the last year and it’s time for me try something hard for a change…
I would make hats or blankets/afghans to donate to charity. That’s where most of what I make goes, this would help out the expense I incur with purchasing yarn and it would all go to a good cause!
I hope I WIN!!!
Minetta
I’ve subscribed and shared via facebook and here’s the comment. 🙂
I did all the steps….OOOhhhhhh I would make a lovely sweater for myself! Cause I never make anything for myself! :O)
Oh, Chandi!!! You are amazing! I love to crochet and am teaching myself to knit. I can only say that, whether I win or not, I WILL continue to enjoy and appreciate your wonderful, creative self and will send you pics as soon as I finish my first project from one of your patterns……Namaste
and yes, I have shared and have been a subscriber for a month or so, already.
I have completed steps 1 and 2. I can see a pair of socks and several scarfs or cowls in that hat box of yarn.
Completed all steps!!! Thank you! Looking forward to a new grandchild and all of the possibilities this yarn brings into the picture ! Thanks for the offer!! xoxox
If I win this yarn I will use it to make all kinds of different projects for my family and friends. I love yarn of all kinds and enjoy trying new yarns and fibers for my projects.
I did both!
I would make a lovely shawl for my daughter and I <3
Liked, shared on facebook, tweeted, and subscribed. Would love to win this yarn, what a generous prize 🙂
Hi there, Thanks for letting us all have a chance at this yarn! So Exciting! I’ve followed the steps to enter the contests and now I’m thinking about all the things that could be made. Though I’ve knitted for many years, I’m still new to crochet so there make be a couple of cute little amigurumi characters made from this, as well as a head start on christmas crafting. And of course I’ll have to introduce this yarn to my stash and make sure they get along 🙂
I subscribed and tweeted!
I’d love to win this yarn! I am currently working on lots of baby projects, so I would probably use this yarn to knit something for my new niece!
Jennifer Baker w/ hugs-n-stitches boutique
subscribed & shared on my personal page.
I would LOVE to win this yarn and put it good use making lots of goodies – probably get a head-start on christmas goodies!!
Hi, I have completed steps 1 and 2. I would love to knit a baby blanket for my twin niece. The yarn is beautiful!
I did both steps, 1 and 2!! I’d love to win this beautiful yarn and if I do I want to make a wonderful shawl for the cool Spring evenings!
I have completed steps 1&2. Having just subscribed to your newsletter, I am sure I would be inspired by the beautiful yarn to knit a light weight summer shell or wrap.
Steps 1 and 2 completed.
I’ve fulfilled all requirements. I hope I win! I hope I win! I hope I win! I hope I win!
Sweet! Completed steps 1 and 2. I’d use the yarn to create something for our Yarn Ministry – scarves, hats, or a shawl to bless someone else~
I accidently commented on another blog entry, lol… Had tried to do it from my phone and it apparently went crazy. But I did first two tasks asked of us… I filled out that little form and also shared on facebook. What I would do with this yarn? SO many ideas… definitely cannot decide… But probably a dress or two for my baby girl 🙂 or a blanket. Who knows! lol <3 Thank you for this wonderful contest~! Blessings!
I just did steps 1 and 2 and I’m thinking. . .um. . .a beautiful shawl of many colors!
Hi there, your yarn is too dye for my dear! what wouldn’t you make with this? heheheh. I would love to have the chance to play with this bounty, make a sweater of many colors or perhaps a nice warm shawl for my aunt who is always cold when she is doing her 3 time a week dialysis. I love your colors, they totally reflect your passion for your art and I can appreciate that. THANK YOU for your creative forces! Star
oh goodness, I forgot to tell you that I followed the first and second steps! I don’t follow instructions well, part of being an artist!
Steps 1&2 completed! What would I do with the yarn? Pet them and admire and drool over them! Seriously though, I prefer to let the yarn speak to me as far as what it will become. HOWEVER, I see a slouchy beret just waiting to be made out of that brightly colored one in the lower right. Is it Sari silk? Oh, what fun!
Yarn must be touched and caressed then it will speak about how it wants to be created.
Good Luck Everyone.
p.s. I do hope this contest is open to us Canucks.
I’m already subscribed, and I sent this to a fellow crafter. I will use the yarn to learn some new skills and make something I haven’t done yet!
I would be honored to receive any of your yarns! I’ve never had a chance to knit with silk yet, but would love to try sometime. I’m not sure what I would knit with the yarn, but I do know that many of my creations go to other people! I’m knitting a wild sweater for myself right now that is becoming whatever it wishes to be! So, I probably will see what the yarn wanted to be! But like others, I would enjoy the feel and the beauty of it before even starting a project. Thank you for being so generous in your giveaways!
Oh, yeah! forgot to say I had finished steps 1 &2.
would love to win this yarn and knits lots of lovely socks, gloves and booties with it!
My first order of your yarn was wonderful. I have been watching your color ways and adore them. What I would make…..I enjoy making things for others. However, my next project will be to crochet socks!
Steps 1 & 2 are completed!!
jana
Hi, I did posted & pinned your contest !! Hope to win this GORGEOUS yarn !! I would make a Cowl for my niece and some little socks for our Little guy !!!
I did one two and three and i would knit lots of goodies for my kids and grandkids!!
Liked and posted. Gimme! 🙂 I make crocheted masks and will have a fashion show to kickoff my line in a few months!
I am already subscribed, I did two and three and as a crocheter, this yarn would be a wonderful addition to my stash! You can never have too much yarn!!
I completed all the steps. I would use the yarn to continue to learn to crochet, getting better and better with each try. I want to try and make myself booties next, and of course, more cute things for my cats. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I did both 1&2 and I think that this is awesome!
I would love to win this yarn! I have granddaughters grown and little and daughters who would so love to have something knit for them. I live quite a distance away from them and this would only help to share something with them. Pick me! Pick me! Please!
I can’t resist a hat box!
I’ve been really frustrated the last couple of times I’ve gone shopping, because I desperately want something that is a) cute, b) fits me, and c) is not in a hideous colour. I’ve decided to make something, but don’t know if I have anything good in my stash. I think these shades would be perfect!
Also, I’m a poor university student, and I always appreciate a chance to get my hands on free stuff. :3
I already subscribe, and I shared, but I told everyone to look but not enter, cause I want to win. 😉
If I won all that fiber-y goodness I would knit stuff for my daughter who has always lived in Arizona, but is moving to Madison WS for graduate school.
I’d did both steps. I love that yarn! I’ve been thinking about making a shawl, cowl, or scarf with some new patterns I found. That yarn would be perfect for some of the patterns I’m looking at!
I did steps 1 & 2…
I would obviously knit/& or crochet lovely things with this hat box of beautiful yarns! Thank-you for the opportunity to win this yarn! =]
One and two completed, and if I win I will put this lovely yarn in my Christmas gifts to make yarn stash and it will all become presents for people I love.
I have done both steps and If I win the yarn I was thinking of making some hats and scarves….
me encantaría hacerme un chal o una mantita, los colores son divinos
I would hoard it for a while, just savoring it. Then I would make myself some items. I never make myself anything to keep but I definitely would with this yarn.
Steps 1 and 2 completed. Will use yarn to practice free form knitting and see what it turns into!
Your yarn is so beautiful – I’d love to win the April contest. Definitely would use the yarn for gifts for my lovely mum and aunties. Keeping my fingers x’d!! 🙂
I have completed steps 1 and 2. I knit and crochet daily, many shawls, hats, scarves, wristies and bags, etc. If I won this incredibly generous and wonderful gift, I’d play with it, wind it, feel it, and let it suggest its purpose to me. The sari silks seem to love becoming cross-body mini bags, while variegated yarns yearn to become shawls and wraps. Sock yarn makes beautiful lacy shawls, and I use cotton for magic market bags. Hats have to feel as good as they look, as does anything that touches the skin, so I would have to wait and see how it talks to me. How lovely it would be wonderful to have really nice yarn for a change, I get most of mine from tag sales and estate sales, so it is usually rather old.
I think I would make a prayer shawl for a elderly friend of mine. Such beautiful yarn. Have a great day!
I would make a prayer shawl for an elderly friend of mine. Thank you
I did steps 1 and 2 and I would uses this yarn to knit Mother’s Day presents.
I did 1 and 2 and I would just love to have the yarn to have and to hold from this day forward!
I did steps 1 & 2 🙂 If I won this yarn and hat box i’d knit my daughters and myself some beautiful new things. like hats or mittens.
I just started knitting before Christmas and love it. My first scarf is really, really long, but I’m so proud of it! I would share that beautiful box of yarn with my girlfriend who got me started and stuck with me through “thick and thin”…yarn, that it!
I did steps 1 & 2. If I won, I would share the yarn with my bitches from the Northern Westchester Stitch n’ Bitch which meets every Thursday evening.
Oops! I also completed steps one and two!!!
I did steps 1 and 2 and I would first fondle the daylights out of every hank of fiber, then i would knit with it!!!
Both are done! This would be so great to win!
Did 1 and 2.
Would knit matching vests for me and my baby boy.
Thanks!
I’ve done steps 1 & 2.
I’d love to win the yarn as a recently newbie knitter I’m finding inspiration from the yarns themselves and knitting socks, hats, shawls, scarves and need more inspiration to knit other things from your beautiful yarns.
I did steps one and two. As for how I would use those luscious yarns…knit, crochet, weave…I will have to see what they whisper in my ear and purr into my hands when they arrive. I will let them inspire the creation. Thank you!
Completed steps 1 and 2, (posted to Facebook and Twitter). I would really have to touch and feel the yarn to completely decide what to make with it, but I am thinking something free form would be beautiful, perhaps a free form shawl or wrap or maybe knit up a hat and some matching fingerless gloves or even a great little cardi for a child. So much beautiful yarn and so many amazing projects to think of and knit or crochet up. It would also be neat to combine with some other handspun yarns and felt up a great knitting project bag! 😀
Hi, I have completed the steps 1 and 2.
I would lay it in a bowl and stroke and gaze at it in wonder (cause i never win anything!), then depending how much there was would create a small blanket/ large shawl to snuggle and smile in.
I did my steps! I am not sure just yet what i would do with these lovelies, but considering my queue is over 30 pages long I am sure I would come up with something spectacular!
Did all 3 steps. Would love to have these to make yarn socks. Live in an Alaska Native village with 5 kids. We make our own calf skin boots here and yarn socks are a must for warmth. Thanks for the contest!
I did steps one and two. I plan on knitting a shawl for my daughter and one for her dolly!
I’d spend my weekends making something fun and new.
Done and done. Such beautiful colors. I would have to touch it first before I decided what it should become. Part of the whole experience.
I did step one and two, now I am wishing to be the receiver of all that yarn and box, I’m working on a shawl out of some Noro yarn that was given to me, but only got 2 balls and had to buy 2 more to have enough yarn for the pattern. But the color way of the 1t 2 balls was out so had to pick another color way (over the phone). It will still come out great.
Completed steps 1 & 2. As for step 3… I’m thinking a shawl, either for myself or for my little sister. I have so many I want to make. Decisions, decisions.
I completed steps one and two. If I got free yarn I’d use it to make either a shawl for an afghan for donation to charity, since that’s what I tend to do with all my projects. Charity auctions and fundraisers are a great way to clear out a stash, and being that I’m in South Korea where yarn is expensive and hard to find, any that I get goes pretty fast.
Hi, if I win these babies, I will chrochet a dress with a matching cardigan or blanket ( or both^^) for my baby girl Hanna:) <3
Subscribed and shared! I’d probably share some with a special friend and find some yummy patterns to knit up!
Completed steps 1 & 2 and I would use it as inspiration for my spinning – and then knit something gorgeous with it.
Hi i’ve completed steps 2 and 3.
Oh so much you could do with this yarn, but i’d definitely make a bag and some mixed media Brooches with some of the lovely textured skeins. The hat box would be used to store pretty things in, like buttons, ribbons, feathers and other goodies.
I have completed steps 2 and 3. I will knit sweater for myself or my little princess.
I completed steps 1 and 2 and I would look for some new patterns to try out with this yarn.
Steps 1 and 2 completed. If I win the yarn and hatbox, I will make hats and mittens for my two granddaughters for this year’s fall and winter seasons. The hatbox will be used to store some of my precious items of memorabilia.
I completed steps 1and 2 and now step 3 . We have a new grand baby -a girl born in july of last year and we are expecting a GREAT grandbaby another girl any day now so I have a good use for that yarn. Ive been crocheting away for months now and expect to keep it up for a while. I would like some special yarn to take a break and make a sweater for me . I have never done it. Always crocheting for someone else. so I have a pattern but no yarn yet as I still am crocheting for the babes. thank you so much for this lovely opportunity to win all that yarn and the hat box too wow!!!!! thanks rar
I don’t know EXACTLY what I’d do with this yarn, but I have a lot of ideas…socks and baby clothes and hats and such! ^_^ Both steps complete!
Done 1 and 2!
Lots of yummy somethings for my daughter’s first baby.
And a little something for me too
Steps 1 and 2 completed as instructed!
If I were lucky enough to win this, I would keep what I could (allergies) and gift the rest. So many of my friends are going through difficult times and I would love to be able to gift them one of your beautiful yarns.
Hugs and blessings.
I look at that delicious box of yarn and see a gorgeous woven shawl. I’d love to work it up. Thanks for holding this contest. I shared it on Facebook and tweeted it.
Steps 1 & 2 are complete. I would use the yarn to continue making bears for the Mother Bear Project, which proviced hand made bears to children in Africa who are HIV positive and are orphaned or cannot be cared fore by their families. So far over 86,000 bears have been shipped, but the need continues.
Steps 2 and 3 completed mine Capitan!! Ooh, lots of luscious new, squishy wool to play with? I would love it and pet it and hug it and call it George 🙂
I did every step and would make something wonderful for my new nephew that’s about to born any second!
I would use this yarn to make my daughter and two granddaughters matching scarves. This yarn is beautiful!
I’m not sure what I would knit, but it will be fun picking out patterns!
I’m in Afghanistan, and knitting not only fights boredom, but it helps me cope with my surroundings. I’m an EOD tech, and we have crazy things going on all the time. So what exactly i would knit, i don’t know yet! But i’m sure it would all going into projects that would be loved and cherished, because i put all of my heart and soul into my knitting.
Shared on facebook. Would love a chance to try your beautiful yarn!
It’s gorgeous!
I look at that yarn and I see endless Possabilities to create”
I did 1 & 2! I would love to create some beautiful one of a kind pieces with this yarn for my girls- socks and scarfs to start!
I came, I saw, I shared. I completed steps 1 and 2. Now, I hope I win!
Hi Chandi. Steps one and two done. Well, that’s a lot of yarn! First, I would leave it decoratively around the house. Some of it would become a shawl. Some of it might become part of a blanket. Some of it would probably be used in some freeform. So many options!
Did both! I would have to make a wrap or shawl something cozy!
Hi, I’ve completed steps 1 & 2 and would love to be able to crochet some winter warmers for my 2 kids as we are coming into winter here in Austalia, a cardigan for my daughter and my son wants a scarf and beanie.
I would knit more sweaters for my daughter since we both love those colors!
Steps 2 & 3 done. I would make a wrap or scarf for myself!
Liked and posted! I will make hats!
yea! i did the steps… shared via my FB page as i don’t tweet 😉 if i won… i would finally finish learning to knit (i can’t cast on worth a darn or finish up neatly, but i have a friend who’s willing to teach me!). with my newly acquired skill, i’d make pocket-cloths (sort-of like handkerchiefs) for my boys & their friends. see, all the kids (well, nearly everyone, not only kids) here in Japan use them in daily life, and one can never have too many! and, while i have many hats, the hat box would likely be a yarn box ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ love & light ~wendyleigh
I would use the yarn to make something for one or more of the charities.
I completed steps one and two. The first thing I would do with this yarn is enjoy the sqooshiness. I would then admire and wait for it to tell me what it wants to be 🙂
Completed all steps. Will make something nice for my self maybe scarfs
First – thank you for such a WONDERFUL offer 🙂 Your yarns – well, they just make me smile. 🙂 Second, 1 and 2 are completed. 🙂 Subscribed and shared on FB. I would like to make either socks or a little bolero/shrug – thanks again for having this great giveaway!! 🙂
Done everything. I would love this yarn to make my prayer shawls for the terminally ill.
Liked, posted, and FINGERS CROSSED!!! What a nice prize!
I was already a subscriber. And I’ve shared on FB. Your colors are wonderful! 8different skeins – a sampler! I see a lovely couch throw of softness. It will look beautiful on my gray couch. Great snuggler!
I would add this to my stash where I could look at it’s lovliness and hold it and dream of how I will use it.
I did steps 1 and 2! I would love to made some lovely shawls for next winter!
Did it! If I were to win it, I think I would use some of it to make my daughter a dress or skirt. Not sure what I would do with the rest. I guess that would just depend on what I have left 😀
Completed 1 and 2. Your yarns are so beautiful! Not sure what I would do with the yarn if I weon. Probably share with my yarnies!!!
I completed steps 1 and 2! I’m feeling a need to make another one of Brooklyn Tweed’s Noro scarves – http://brooklyntweed.blogspot.com/2007/04/noro-scarf.html – which is rather odd for April. If there’s enough yardage though, I’ll probably find a shawl to make instead because one can never have too many shawls. I may even make socks if the mood strikes! 🙂
I completed steps 1 and 2 and if I win I will share the yarn with my Mother and Aunt as we all love knitting. I will knit gifts with the yarn I choose as I get the most pleasure from giving my knitted gifts to family and friends.
Steps are done!! I’d graduate my knitting adventure from scarves to a wrap – or if I was really feeling inspired, a blanket! I made one a few years ago for a friend, but had difficulty with the gauge – my husband liked to say “it’s not a baby blanket, it’s a baby rhombus!”. Hopefully, my skills have improved…
I’ve done Step 1 & 2. I would try a few shawl patterns I have found over the past week if i was lucky enought to win.
Obviously, I would love to use these brilliantly colored yarns to knit small gifts for my friends stateside (I currently live in Japan at a military address due to my husband being stationed here).
I also followed all your steps and hopefully, you will get some more people to enter this contest (I have lots of knitting/crochet buddies!). <3
Like and posted. Have to wait for the yarn to decide what to make. The yarn will tell me.
I did steps 1 and 2! I would make my gorgeous daughter and mother-in-law some scarves and gloves for Christmas! They are both purple obsessed and such amazing people! I love putting smiles on their faces! Thank you for the chance to try out your yummy yarns!
Hummm…socks…cowls…scarfs…sweater for the grand? Guess it depends on the yarn! PLEASE!
I did steps one and two. a pretty shawl would be fun.
I did steps 1 and 2. I’m thinking luxurious scarves, knitted necklaces and maybe some mitts. Did I mention luxurious scarves?
I have finished steps 1 and 2. I think I would make a shawl or a cowl with that beautiful yarn!
Steps 1 and 2 completed… If I win this yarn, my mom, sister and nieces won’t have to do without Christmas gifts this year!!! It sux being poor 🙁
did 1 and 2….now i want to knit with that yummy yarn!
I did steps one and two and would try to make a Jane Thornley vest or shawl.
I simply love the colors.
I completed the steps. These yarns would look good as a fish hat!
I have completed steps 1 & 2. I have nine grandchildren so at least a few of them will be receiving a new item from Grandma!!
Steps 1 & 2 done, now for 3:
I think a WW hat would be perfect, than a shawl of some kind would be in order. Some fingerless gloves would be loverly. Or maybe a a sweet summer sweater.
Right now, I’m dreaming & planning!
What a beautiful give away. I would love to find room for it in my stash. and the Hat box is a wonderful bonus that I can see tons of uses for. Thanks for holding the contest.
Alex
Did step 1 and 2, would make my daughter whatever she would like.
Subscribed and liked through fb. I see some pretty scarfs, headbands and hats in that box, but oh so many possibilities 🙂
Liked and shared. Love the color combo. I can think of a lot to do with it all. Crochet or knit a scarf, weave some into wrist cuffs etc.
I did steps 1 & 2. If I win I will make beautiful scarves and critters for my grandchildren ( and maybe their parents).
I did 1 and 2 and although I have been a crocheter for most of my life, when my mother passed away, she left several knitting projects unfinished. I taught myself to knit so I could finish them for my daughter. Now I design my own patterns for my daughter based on favorite shirts/designs she likes, and it feels like my mother is there knitting for her…
This is an amazing give-away – thank you! If I win this, after I pick myself up off the floor, I will get out my wish list of magazine projects and co-ordinate with the yarns in the box…then start knitting!!! or crocheting!!!
I would use this yarn to do one or more Prayer Shawls for the Perdido Bay United Methodist Church. We have a great group but as all shawls are given away, we rarely get to use yarn of this quality!!!!
Thanks for this opportunity
I did steps 1 and 2, and I would love to have the yarn in order to knit up a special something for my mom!
I completed steps 1 and 2 and now by telling you that there are two things I have been wanting to do. First, I want to knit a Cowl and I have the pattern. Secondly, I want to either Knit or Crochet a pair of socke. Oh yes, there is this sweater also. That’s my project list for now.
I did 1 and 2 and fully intend to knit something scrumptious with that lovely yarn! (But I’ll probably just fondle it for a while, first….)
I have completed both steps 1 and 2. If I win this yarn I will use it to make hats and scarves for me and my friends!! I love to crochet so this would be a great prize to win!!!
I would LOVE to have this! I clicked, I posted, I liked, I commented, I want it!!!
Did steps 2 & 3. I’m not sure what I would make with yarn. I like to make blankets and hats/scarves/gloves. Something along those lines would probably be made.
I completed step 1&2. I would make hats, shawls and anything else I could think of. I LOVE your yarn!!!
Oh my gosh I would LOVE to win this yarn! I’ve been subscribed to your mailing list for a few days now, and I totally liked (and by that I mean LOVED) your page and this contest!
While I do sell the things I crochet, this yarn would NOT be for that purpose! I would use this yarn for myself and to make pretty things for my friends 🙂
Liked and shared! Hmmm, shawl or cowl I think. : )
Subscribed and shared and would LOVE to win!! Not sure what I’d make with it, but I’m sure it would be amazing!
Thanks for the opportunity!!
I did steps 1 & 2. If I win I would knit some shawls! Yummy!
I would be selfish and make an afghan for my bed…
Did all of the steps. Really want to win. As a beginner I am still learning the different types of yarns and quality and softness of the yarns. TY
Completed! Would love to win this beautiful yarn!
Hiya Chandi,I’ve completed steps 1,2, and 3, so that Im now in with a chance of winning this Fandabbydosey prize of Gorgeous yarns, even in my favourite colour.I think I might try to make something using the Extreme Knitting technique.I’ve just ordered some gigantic needles, and the prize would be a fabulous adventure in knitting something combining all the wools together,WOW!,I will cross all my fingers and toes and hope that Im lucky.Thankyou for a wonderful website, and amazing wool.yours in hoping Im Lucky,Mandy Marie.

I have completed steps one and two.
I would love to have your lovely yarn to snuggle and cuddle with, both before and after it has been knitted!
If I was to win the yarn, it would make beautiful baby crochet blankets!
I have done both steps 1 and 2. I am sure I would use this yarn to make something wonderful for my granddaughters. Thanks!
liked and shared. so many patterns to knit so little time but I would find time for this bundle 🙂
I did steps one and two. I would use this yarn to help a women’s shelter.
Can’t wait for the yarn to come!!!! 🙂 all done!
I’ve done the steps as required! If I were lucky enough to win the gorgeous wool I would knit and crochet the days away … maybe a little amigurumi toy for my baby girl and a lovely summer cardigan for her too 🙂
I can’t decide what to knit with this beautiful and colourful yarn. Most likely, shawls.
Steps one and two done because this is AMAZING!! The colors are perfect for a bit of neckwear beauty for my military daughter…
I have completed steps 1 and 2! I just got some crochet books and i want to make everything in there! AHHH! Love your yarn!
I’m so into making afghan for my family. My next project id for my daughter’s wedding gift….
I am waiting for my order. I just placed it last night. I’ love to win this hatbox of your special yarn! I would make scarf or infinity scarf with these or maybe a new shawl . The prayer shawl ministry is wonderful!
I so love knitting,! It is my meditation, my relaxation, my creative outlet, and my joy to give. I continue to take courses for new ideas and new techniques that will perfect my craft. I want to win this hatbox full of yarn! That would make me so happy!
By the way, I did share this on twitter and will be doing it on Facebook also!
i have completed steps 1 & 2. I WILL be dreaming of what I will do with this hat box filled with GOLD in the form of YARN. I’m a knitter/crocheter work in progress and feel as I have a chance of hitting the Yarn Lottery. this is more than a website, yarns, etc…so much more.
I joined the email list & shared the contest on Facebook!
It looks like a delicious selection to make some scarves and maybe some baby hats with!
There’s nothing like the feel of a fine yarn around needles or hook! <3
I would love to win this yarn. What would I do with it? Well, maybe the question should be what wouldn’t I do with it! I crochet for family, friends and acquaintances. I don’t often do things for myself. But upon winning this I would make something beautiful for myself. Then move on to making for others. I have long admired your yarn. It is all so beautiful! Someday (I hope) I will no longer be unemployed and will be able to actually buy some!
Completed both steps and am dreaming about crocheted shawls and knitted scarves with this delicious wool x
I would design and make the best looking jacket anyone ever saw!!! Then I would post it everywhere online!! Would love this yarn soooooo much.
Omg I said all kinds of things but did not tell you i did steps 1 & 2 …Please pick me …I just placed an order last night. I want to make a prayer shawl.
I have completed the steps…would love to send this to a friend who has lyme disease who makes scarves & other knitted items to help pay for her treatments.
I would LOVE to win this yarn. I crochet, but I also scrapbook, papercraft, and make lots of other art pieces, which I use yarn for. Your yarn is so beautiful! I would love to work with it.
PS: I completed steps 1 & 2, shared on facebook
I’ve finished all the steps and I’m so excited. All of your color ways are just amazing but it’s just not in the budget now. I want to try making items for my 3 yr. old granddaughter. These were make adorable little cardigans.
🙂
I’m not sure yet what I would make with this yarn. I’d have to see it & touch it & go through my thousands of patterns first. I love yarn & can never get enough.
Liked and posted. There are so many possibilities. I have 19 grandkids and 1 great. It would be so fun to make mittens, hats or scarfs for them. I love to knit for them. I would love to win this. Thanks for the chance to enter.
I’ve done steps 1 & 2. Now for step 3: if I were to win these yarns, I’d first hug them, caress them and call them “my precious”. Then I’d probably spend hours and hours deciding what to make out of them. I knit, crochet, do Tunesian crochet and am learning to weave, so there are more than enough options to choose from. Socks are always a favourite project, although I’d be more inclined to make something more durable out of these. Perhaps a shawl or some pretty gloves/mittens.
Keep creating <3
Done. Your yarn is beautiful; I love the colors. I crochet, bead and attempt to knit. Your hat box looks like a treasure box of fun.
I’ve done steps one and two! Pick me please! I’d love a good stash to knit when tax season is all done!
Did step 1, tried to Twitter, will tell on fb, doing step 3. I probably crochet random pieces then make an afghan out of the pieces, like I do now.
Well first I do love a nice hat box. It would give me a much lovelier place to store my knitting goodies than I currently have. And all that yarn would be most fantastic for knitting for my niece who is arriving into our big bright world just a few weeks from now! You have no idea the projects I’ve lined up for her! Your yarns are beautiful and I would love to see my sister’s little one in them!
Done and done: because I have a new baby brewing that I need to knit for 🙂
And since I got too excited about knitting for my niece I forgot to say, I did indeed do both steps 1and 2 and am currently finalizing the third! Thanks!
Done and done. Thank you for the opportunity to win some of your gorgeous yarns!! If I won, I would knit garments for my children.
Done and done. Thank you for the opportunity to win some of your gorgeous yarns!! If I won, I would knit garments for my children. :-))
I am 49 years old and been of work sick for 6 months, I live alone and my neighbor Pat is 85, she is always giving me yarns and wool to knit and crochet with, Id like to make myself a jumper for winter and share some with Pat next door ( pay it forward Oprah would say) so I have completed step 1 and 2 and 3 shared on FB and twitter @Susylee1 (Susy Hendy)
Good luck everyone but I do hope I get it, I have not won anything before LOL just not lucky. 🙂
Done! I’d love these to help my stash out- we just moved out of state & most of my yarns are in storage :/
I have been making things for raffles to support AA. Last weekend it was 2 sets of potholders & matching dish cloths, This weekend an afgan which is the 5th I’ve made since this last June.
Done! And YES! I am too excited for words! When this box arrives on my doorstep..I shall fondly cradle the beautiful hand dyed yarn, stroke it, & display it. Eventually I will figure out something to knit. You see, my budget does not allow for hand dyed or spun yarn. My budget protests when I purchase Lion Brand or Red Heart on regular price. My budget breathes easier when I use coupons for said yarn.
Done and done! 🙂 Thanks for the great contest!
I’m not sure what I would do, probably a scarf or shawl.
I’ve completed steps 2 & 3. As to what I would do with the yarn, well, I’m not exactly sure. Sometimes I have to see and feel it to know just what it needs to be turned into. There are some patterns that I have that are waiting for the right yarn, too. I would love to be able to expand my abilities with this yarn. I would love to be able to make something for one of my four daughters, too. I think this yarn would look great as fingerless mitts!
I signed up for the mailing list.
I Shared on twitter (https://twitter.com/knockedupnursin/status/319844902722756608)
I would probably knit some Slippers.
I’m a subscriber and I shared this on Facebook! I’m not exactly sure what I would do with a variety of yarn like this, but I’m thinking of doing a freestyle type project, and this might be the yarn to do that with.
Did steps 2 & 3
I would use the yarn to make things to sell in my Esty shop. Link to you of course
I did steps one and two and would LOVE to win this and use the beautiful yarn to work on my inventory for the Seattle Pride Fest this summer. The box would be wonderful to use for displaying my wares!
two and three I meant 🙂
I an already receiving your emails and I liked and shared this post on facebook. I am always glad to share pictures of pretty yarn. I may make a nice spring sweater or shawl or scarf, or just use it in a basket as art!
Wow… Such beautiful colours and I’ve done all steps.. Can’t wait to see the results. Surely will make used of them for my crochet and knitting work.. Thanks for organizing the contest. Cheers.
I just completed both steps—what would I do with this yarn? What else? I’d crochet and/or knit some beautiful creations to share with my family and friends of course!!! 🙂
I have completed the steps
I lust your yarns, but they’re just out of my price range right now. Its selfish, but one of those yarns would be used to make something for me. Usually, someone else ends up with the things I make, but that silk is calling out to be a rock’n bag.
I did both Steps 1 and 2 and I’m not sure what I would make until I received the hatbox of yarn. I like to see and touch the yarn to determine what to make with it. I have a few skeins that have stayed skeins because I just enjoy them as they are!
did all steps ,pinned tweet and face book it, cant wait for drawing, would love to make something like beach hat and beach bag for grand daughter who is going to be 2 in June, she so loves when I make her things like the sweaters and afghans I’ve made her.The colors u do are so soft and yummy.
ty Chandi for chance to win, gl to all!!!!!!!
Terri
I would make make scarfs for the homeless & maybe something for my granddaughters.
Please pick me!
I shared and entered!
I completed the steps and sent messages to friends on Facebook . If I win, I’ll give it to my daughter and wife, who is are avid knitters
Done and done. Hats and scarfs or a one of a kind wrap.
All steps complete! thanks for making and sharing such beautiful yarns, Chandi. I honestly don’t know what I’d do with the yarn. I’d have to feel it and then decide. I’m saving up to go to your site and by some worsted weight to make a “happy” afghan for me. Thanks for having these contests. Agape.
I’ve done steps 1 and 2. Now for step 3. I would use it to crochet baby and child items that I can use to create my home business and eventually sell to those that love them. 🙂
I did my part, now I’m looking forward to you doing your part! I make hats, mittens, prayershawls, lap robes, etc., for donation to local food banks, chemo centers & senior care centers. I would love to have some of your beautiful yarn to include in my projects. Can’t wait to win the hat box & yarn!
I did steps 1 and 2 and I would love to win this to make something fun , maybe a scarf !
Done and done! I would knit gifts for my family and friends. Maybe try out a beading pattern I designed for a bag.
Done and Done. Would love to win this hat box full of fun! Still learning how to knit socks, but would love to try with some of your beautiful yarns!
I would make at least one baby hat to donate for the Purple Crying Period… they teach parents about why babies cry, and that it is OK, and just to step away if they are frustrated. It is a program to try to prevent shaken baby syndrome, and since I am a PICU nurse, I really would love to never see another shaken baby. <3
PS. I did the steps 🙂
Hats, scarves… I would then either sell them to help pay for a mission trip I’m going on or donate them next winter to some local charities.
I did steps 1 & 2 and If I would win this wonderful giveaway, it would be a birthday present to myself. Would use the yarn to continue crocheting for charity. Love to make baby items for the local hospital in my area and it’s so much appreciated.
I’d make matching hats for my Sweet Pea and me. And a nice little swing jacket for her because it occasionally gets cold here in South Texas.
Oh and I followed the directions to enter.
Oh my… I have too many projects planned…which one to choose first….scarf for sister….camera strap cover for me…..shawl for my mother….tank for niece and several others!? I would have to post projects on wall and throw a dart to pick one….
Your yarn looks amazing! And there so many things I’d like to make with it that it’s hard to decide 🙂 But here are a few of them:
Broomstick Lace bracelets (http://cultofcrochet.wordpress.com/2011/07/18/broomstick-lace-bracelet/
Flower Motif Shawl (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/altais/d-flower-motif-shawl-)
Hourglass Sweater (http://www.stitchdiva.com/hourglass-jacket)
Yay for crocheted loveliness!
I did steps 1 and 2. I would love to win all of that yarn so I can knit my girls a lot of scarves.
I would love to make a few shawls for some new moms-to-be that my daughter knows….and with whats leftover I’m sure I can make a few things for myself….. Happy kniting
Completed steps 1 & 2…I’m not a Tweeter. I would love to win this yarn; these are my favorite colors and I would love the chance to knit these into something beautiful for my charities. Thank you so much for the giveaway and your site. Good luck to all entrants!
I did steps 1&2. thank you for the chance to win this box of lovely, lovely yarn. I would make my kids scarves, gloves, hats. and a cuddly warm muff/ knitted stuffed animal… all made with love.
I love your yarns and follow on facebook! I did steps one and two! Fingers crossed!
oh boy, now what would I do if I win the basket of yarn?
Well first I would jump for joy and yell hip hip hooray! LOL
Then I would find a pattern that I never made before and try something different and a bit more difficult than I am used to….I have to move forward and just love to knit and crochet, but with this yarn I definitely would knit the pattern, I find it much more relaxing and stress free…..*wishing and hoping now
Thank you,
Kathleen
Beautiful yarn! I shared with all my fiberholic friends on Facebook and Twitter! Love your patterns too!
I will Knit, Knit, and then knit some more. I donate some of my items and give a lot as gifts!! Love the beautiful yarn in this hat box!!!!!!
I’ve completed both steps. I’d love to win these to get myself going with my crochet again. I’ve nearly finished my felted dragon so I’m looking for my next project. This could really get the creative juices flowing.
I’ve done it too, steps one and two completed, and now doing step three!
I love wool, I’m a little obsessed with french knitting and I’ve just listed my first knitting pattern on etsy
http://www.etsy.com/shop/scmarshallnichols
I’m about to start needle felting a Cheshire cat for my daughter and then I’m going to try to create a scarf pattern to go with my cuffs and I would love to use some of the yarn from your hat box to do that.
Thanks for the competition.
Best wished
Shelley
I would love to make some hats to donate to some baby charities!
Liked and posted and subscribed! If I won this, I would be able to make my new baby so many cute things! If she ever gave me time to knit, that is. 🙂
I did both Steps 1 and 2, and I will ooh, and ahhh over the beautiful yarn, and then hand it over to my wife to knit wonderful things.
I did steps one and two, I’d add the yarn to my stash till I find the perfect pattern, perhaps share with a friend:)
1 and 2 done. I would love to make a bag and a few things for my daughter and nieces if I win.
I did steps 1 @ 2. I would love this yarn to crochet lap ghans @ scarves for some of the elderly in our area.
Whoop! Making lovely shawls with this if I get it!
I love your yarn but unfortunately I cannot afford them. Your youtube videos taught me to knit even though I haven’t finished my first project. I’m a hooker at heart and I would make something gorgeous out of it because all your yarn is wonderful. I’ve never used handspun or recycled yarn so I would probably make scarves or socks, but then again I love to try new and crazy things so when it falls into my hands I will know exactly what it’s meant for. The hat box will be the perfect addition to my stash storage also 🙂 Thank you for having this give away so people who can’t normally afford your yarn have a chance of running their fingers over something deliciously fabulous!!
I have completed steps 1 and 2 and make just about anything. I’m constantly crochetting a new project
Followed the steps, will have to share with my favorite knitting buddies and make something for our baby <3
I will use this wonderful assortment of yarn with my 11 kids in Art Class (K-3rd). We will make Spirit sticks, which uses a good choice of nice colored yarns to wrap around branches of wood. Then we will add our spirit animals, and some nature treasures to make this awesome, spiritual craft. My kids will LOVE it!!!
oh yes, and I already did steps 1 and 2!!
I have done the steps now just waiting for the mail man to deliver the goodies. I will make something with my daughter that just learned to knit yesterday. pretty pretty please.
1,2 and now 3! I would definitely do some shareing but also alot of crocheting! Got a grand niece in-law on the way so lots of baby stuff!
Completed all the steps. The colors of the yarns speak to me! They are so beautiful. I would have to touch them before I would be able to say what I would make.
I followed all the instructions to enter and win this hatbox yarn. Oh I would jump for joy when I found it delivered at my door! Then I would cuddle it and start making plans to knit away all the stress in my day!
I’m already subscribed, and have liked and shared. Lovely yarn! I’m sure to find a pattern for something beautiful to crochet with it–been wanting to to try silk.
I did Steps 1 & 2 and would love to win all this gorgeous yarn. I’m not sure what I would make with it, but I would definitely make something like a shawl or wrap or capelet of some kind. So pretty!
Done and done! I make amigurami, so probably lots of kids could get some lovely new toys if I win. I’m thinking a purple elephant to start.
I have done the steps above and would love to have the yarn for a project I am dreaming of: For the side of my new stairs, instead of spindles, I will weave yarn designs from rows of nails. Will be fun! This colorful yarn would be a cheerful addition.
Who wouldn’t want to win this…socks, sweaters, hats you name it
Liked & shared on Facebook; already subscribed to the newsletter. If I win this yarn, I’m seeing light, summer scarves, shawls & wraps. Beautiful yarn!
I would use the yarn to continue contributing baby beanies to our military hospital, because the never have enough hats for the roughly 80 babies born each month.
oooooooo winter is knocking here in the southern hemisphere and I am busting to start new warm projects for my littles and I! thanks for the opportunity to enter.. I have done all the requested steps 🙂
I did steps one and two. What would I make with these yarns? The possibilities are endless! I’ve never found a handdyed yarn that I’ve loved, but I feel in love with all your colors the minute I found your page. I have never entered a contest to win a hatbox full of yarn before, at least that I remember, anyway! I have followed the steps and shared and subscribed and commented. I thought maybe I could try making a sweater, as I haven’t tried making one yet. I was also thinking about socks?…

I’d love these yarns – I am a learning rug hooker and really love the different textures and colours to work into a pattern. My plan for my next hooking project is Picasso’s woman reading a book – it’s bright and beautiful. Shared on Facebook and Twitter and sent to my knitting friends. Already on mailing list.
I have completed steps 1 and 2 via FB. As for what I would do with the free yarn, I think maybe a nice airy scarf or a wrap or maybe a beanie. It would depend on the colors I would receive.

YARN!!! The thing dreams are made of.
I see more shawls and cowls in my future, perhaps some arm warmers and a beret or 2.
🙂
I did 1 a while ago, and juste did 2.
I usually get the inspiration to knit something after I have seen and touched the yarn, but I’m pretty sure some hats would come out of this lot 🙂
After I finish petting the yarn like a new puppy I think I will make a spring top with the silk and a tote with the wool! I’m getting excited just thinking about it!!
I’ve done steps 1 and 2. My yarn will be used to make shawls or things for my grand kids. Love your yarn!
This yarn is beautiful. It would be an honor to be able to win it.
I so want to win this hat box full of yarn, i would use some of it to knit my granddaughter a sweater or a shrug, then i would use some of it to make a Christmas gift, like socks or a shawl, then a shawl for myself. So please pick me .I have done both steps and really really want to win this . PLEASE PICK ME. Thank you Chandi for the opportunity to win this beautiful hat box with the beautiful yarn that you make.
Sincerley Terry
I did both steps 1 & 2. I have a newborn grandson (first boy after 3 granddaughters) and could/would knit a multitude of items for him.
ooohhh boyyyy – I would pet it and stroke it and play with it for awhile. Then decide if it was right for another shawl for my daughter and grandaughter or perhaps slippers for me and my friend Linda. I promised her about a year ago. Then make it into a ball – I asked my son-in-law to make me a swift so get to play with it again. By that time I would know what I would use it for and as soon as I finish my 4 wip – would start on whatever the yarn told me it needed to me. hmmm haven’t made 2 at a time socks for a bit. Hard to get it all done when you still volunteer full time for Crime Stoppers.
I did both steps. If I win I will make the most unique shawl or wrap of this scrumptious yarn.
All finished steps 1 and 2!
I will gift the lovely yarn to my mom!! She’s the best.
What would I do with that? I would make something fabulous. I would horde it. I would share it with friends. I would convince my kids to try their hand at knitting and crocheting again. I would rub my face on it. I would annoy my husband with it.
In other words, I would adore it!
I did the steps (twittered). I would have to feel and “know” the yarn before deciding what it wanted to be!
I did both! I would love to make a pair of mitts with some kind of colour work, like fairisle.
I did it! I would love getting this gorgeous yarn…my budget is so tight that I haven’t been able to buy anything for several months, but hope that will change one day soon…meanwhile, it would be so wonderful to have some new yarn arrive at my door, especially yarn this beautiful! What would I make? It would be so much fun to make something pretty for my sisters as a surprise!
I want to win this so bad!
I forgot to say I am already subscribed and I did step 2 also.
Liked and posted. Hope my number gets picked. Thanks for the fun, I love your website!!
My fingers and toes are crossed… pick me… ooohhh ….pick me… me …please!
I love the yarns I’ve already purchased from you and desire MORE. Chandi, I do so love everything about your products. If by chance, I am chosen as the winner, I would have to see and sniff and squeeze and stroke each skein till it tells me what it wants to grow to be! I do a lot of charity and gift projects and occasionally will make a few custom ordered items. Nearly nothing is kept or made for myself, so I think it’s time to treat ME to something extra special.
I just read Barbara’s comments above mine and it seems we are of the same mind. May the lucky winner enjoy it as much as I would if it came to me!
P.S.: I already subscribe to your web page and posted on facebook. No ‘Tweets’ for me. But a hatbox full of yarns would be the perfect substitute.
I have completed steps 2 and 3. I would love to win the yarn giveaway. Oh what to make, what to make…think I will start Christmas presents .., maybe scarfs, mittens, hats…
I have done the steps. Anything that could go into socks probably would I am addicted to making socks. Then I would put others into a sampler afghan I am knitting/crocheting.
Have completed all the steps. I just love your yarn and would love to have some more. There is so much I would like to do and your yarn would really come in handy for a lot of it.
I pinned, facebooked and tweeted. All of the above. I would love to win. I have 2 hanks of yarn that I purchased from you and I love them.
Steps 1 and 2 complete!
I’m teaching three friends to crochet, and I’m sure we could find some fun projects to put these yarns to good use. Beautiful grouping and colors!
I am a crocheter and I do plastic canvas/yarn pictures (most proud of my 3’x4′ dragon!). I’ve tried knitting but, for some reason, the needles end up flying across the room!!! I make many baby blankets, I love to make finger-less gloves, and have made a few hooded capes and some shawls. Right now, I’m working on an over-skirt in pale peach. I’m sure I could come up with something AMAZING to do with these 8 skeins (they tend to tell me what they’d like to be). Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I’ve finished steps 1 and 2 now I’m waiting to win so I can start making shawls and purses!
I completed 2 and 3. I love this yarn and would use it for Xmas 2013 knitting.
I have followed all the steps and shared this awesome giveaway!
I think if I won I would make something for my daughters, as they very rarely get things made for them! (They are 4&2 but love the stuff I have made them in the oast and look after it very well!)
Fingers crossed I’ll win this, I can feel a freeform frenzy coming on!
I did did step 1 & 2 and if I won I would make things to donate thru my church.
Steps 2 and 3 are done and this wool would be great to get a head start on something beautiful for my grandbaby for Christmas!
Revel in the colours and textures then wait for inspiration
Liked & tweeted. Not sure what I’d do with the yarn till I saw it but it could end up I would weave scarves from it. If its a heavier yarn, then i would probably knit a cowl.
I completed steps 2 & 3~~I would use that gorgeous yarn to make something for ME! Yes ME as I never make items for myself……..I see a crochet Bolero in my future 🙂
Knitting keeps me sane
I would do either socks or look for Christmas gifts to make!
I have completed steps 1 and 2! I am an avid knitter and crocheter (sp?). I would use this yarn to make Prayer Shawls for my church mission work.
I completed steps 1, 2, & 3. I would love to make prayer shawls or chemo hats for the Claudia Mayer Breast cancer foundation. This group provides treatment, mental health, after care, wigs, hats, and most importantly loving kindness to women going through Breast cancer treatments. It’s a smaller group founded after the wife of the OB/Gyn doctor I worked for passed away from breast cancer. I try to donate nice things, but not being able to work myself, the yarn costs add up. This would really help. I am crossing my fingers!
I’m already a subscriber and have entered and posted on facebook! I’m going to make something gorgeous for myself and my grand children.
I think that shawl you have on your site is callin’ me name…and these colors just beg for a fun, colorful piece to show off their beauty!
I entered your contest and am beginning to think of things I want to make for Christmas gifts, when I finish some spring knitting, (I started way too late last year) so this would be a perfect start! Thanks!
I did do steps 1 and 2. The very first thing I’d do if I won it would to sit with it awhile and just look, touch, feel and admire the beautiful stuff. Then, start planning all the wonderful items that it would work for. Maybe start Christmas pressies early but may just keep it all. for. me. Thanks for the lovely work and the upbeat you. It brings a smile to my face in the middle of busy days.
Angi
Am already subscribed & did step 2. Going through a big time shawl phase but there might be a scarf in that box too.
I have completed both… i would have a lot of fun makeing many different things… scarf for my mother. mittens for myself…
I have completed step 2 & 3.
If I win this yarn. I plan to first share it with my sister who can’t afford really good knitting supplies, but she is the one who got me addicted to knitting.
Then I plan to make, warm winter socks for my neighbor as a thank you for snow blowing for me the last few winters while my husband has been over the road trucking, and I’ve been struggling with back problems.
Then, with whatever is left, doll cloths, or Christmas decorations.
Always thrilled to share product and new information, I’d love to share this gift box with others in the stitching group I coordinate, the arts coalition with which I serve on the Board, and in the classroom teaching other stitchers … and THEN …f ind the very best project to highlight the color and textures of such beautiful fibers.
I have entered the contest, and posted on FaceBook. Your yarn is beautiful, your posts entertaining, and your projects–well, just fabulous! Any yarnie would love to get this hatbox full of your gorgeous yarn, but I’m thinking that if I win, I would make narrow, cowl-like scarves for my daughters and granddaughters. Yarn necklaces, as it were—
Thanks for the chance to win, and keep posting those beauties!
Completed steps one and two. What I would make with the yarn? Depends on how the yarn looks and feels.
I I have shared this giveaway with several people and hope to let everyone know about your beautiful yarn!! I have purchased some and I love it!! There are so many things that I could make with this yarn!! I think I would start with a cowl, because that is my favorite thing to make right now.
I just adore the lustre and colours and so want to win this to be abel to start using them. In my usual way i will start by working with the yarns to see how they work made up but would love to create something wonderful to wrap up in
I’ve completed steps 1 and 2! No idea what I’d do with the yarn, yet. But after a good session on Ravelry I’m sure to come up with lots of fantastic ideas and projects to put it to good use!
I did steps 1 and 2. If I win this yarn I am going to enjoy it for a while and see what it wants to be. I will let the colors and textures talk to me.
I completed the steps and I have my fingers and toes crossed that I’ll WIN this luscious prize!
Would love to have this so I entered
I would have to have it in my hands to be sure…:) but probably start on Christmas gifts..
I have completed steps 1 and 2. I will make some sweaters and hats with the yarn.
I did one and two. I’d decide what exactly to do with the yarn after I saw what and how much of each is there… big extended family; I both knit and crochet… always ideas of stuff to make!
I entered, and shared on facebook. If I win this yarn I will make headbands and scarves for my nieces. I may even give a skein or two to my friend Marie, who is a knitting and crocheting genius!
I love the colors you come up with!
I have completed steps 1 & 2. I love your colors and textures beautiful and I will use the yarn to be able to crochet gifts for the elderly at the senior center and the mentally ill that I do volunteer work with. Thanks for the chance and I pray you pick me as I cannot always afford to buy this high quality yarn!! God Bless
i did both! i have visions of a felted hat for me, some fingerless gloves, a baby shrug or wrap for the new little ones in my family, probably a bag with the recycled silk, and a charity item or three: hats, or a couple of baby items for preterm wee ones…. but definitely at least one hat. it IS in a hatbox after all!
I have signed up and tweeted about this generous and beautiful giveaway. If I were to win this, I would leave the hat box open so I could gaze upon the yarn and ponder the perfect things to knit up. There’s enough yarn for me to knit something for both of my wee granddaughters and maybe even something for their mom.
Good luck Everyone!
Shared on facebook and I already am getting blog updates! No twitter just yet.
I think if I won this box of gorgeous yarn I would use it make a few lovely things for my granddaughter and her mom. And since there is so much yarn there might be enough left for something for my self!!
I have completed steps 1, 2 and 3. If i were lucky enough to win this yarn, I would like to make a sweater. I’m not sure what the weight is, but 8 skeins is usually enough for a sweater. Or else I would knit a series of hats? I love to knit hats.
Tweeted it from the rooftop! I will be most inclined to make something, unselfishly, for myself!
If I am so lucky to win I will ,make something for my beautiful Granddaughter and share the “spoils” with my daughter thank you for the chance Jean
joined, posted and am waiting on pins and needles 🙂 I think a shawl would be my first thought on putting these lovelies to use!
I’ve done both! I would love to make a hat and scarf for my granddaughter
Joined and shared….and would love to win and use the yarn to knit beautiful scarfs for my daughter and maybe even something for me!!
This is such an awesome opportunity! I would love to play with some of your lace weight on the loom and see how it weaves up. I am currently perfecting my twill techniques!
Done & done!! If I won I would sit & look at it for a while – so pretty – then let it ‘tell’ me what to make!! 🙂
I did this the other day, but since you reposted….!!! I actually think I will commit to learning to crochet, with these yarns, should I win them! Thanks for the opportunity.
Make a gift for my niece, great-niece and best friend.
I have completed steps 2 and 3.
I have a contemporary, short-row, asymmetrical shawl half designed. I want it to be done with mixed yarns. If the yarns are the ones in the basket, or similar, they would be perfect. I like using good yarn. Sometimes social security doesn’t extend to that. This would be a great treat!
Right now, I am saving up for some Lipstick
Entered, shared and commented. Would Love to win and be able to work with some of your yarn!
Hmmm, first I would fondle the yarn for a good long time…..then, I would dig out some patterns for fingerless gloves and cowls, then I would start knitting, and eventually I would wear this yarn and show it for the rest of the world to enjoy it’s yarnie goodness! 😀
Both liked and shared! I am thinking that I may make a pretty blanket…
I completed steps one and 2 and this is what I would do with the yarn and hatbox. I would make each of my 9 grandchildren something awesome! Wish me luck!
Subscribed and shared ! If I won the yarn I would hug it and squeeze it and love it!
1 and 2 done. Love the colours, would be good selection for next winters accessories, not that this winter seems to be going anywhere fast.
I’ve done both steps. Now when or if I am the winner I will make a prayer shawl for church.
I have completed steps 1 and2. What would I do with it? Have a great time exploring patterns probably for my daughter whose favorite color is purple.
Already subscribed–liked and shared on FB. Would use to make a wrap or scarves if I’m lucky enough to win these pretty skeins!
I already completed steps 1 and 2. I have so many beautiful patterns saved that I want to try, but sometimes I just don’t have the time or money to get the beautiful yarn that I need to make them. So if I win this yarn giveaway, I’m going to make something special for myself and just enjoy it!!
Idid all the steps necessary. I will make something beautiful for my daughter.
Did Step 1 & 2…I thought I’d make a luxurious wrap with several of the yarns, but have changed my mind….I’d use each skein separately and design my own “One Skein” patterns using 1800’s crochet/knit stitch patterns.
I have completed steps 1 and 2. I will probably use this yarn for an afghan. It is so pretty..
I have completed steps 1 & 2….I would probably make hats and felted bags with this yarn…its beautiful
Did both steps (shared on FB). Not sure if this is open to Canadians as well. If shipping is an issue, I’d pay for that! If I won this yarn, I’d probably make yet another shawl to add to my growing collection.
That’s steps 1, 2, & now 3. There are so many projects that I could make with this Fandabbydozey treasure box of loveliness, but I think I would like to make some beautiful luxurious cushion covers for my living room that Im wanting to decorate,I want the items made to be on full view for everyone to see, they are far too amazing to have hidden away in my wardrobe.
I did both 1 & 2. I would make a beautiful sweater for the sweetest granddaughter in the world who is away at college. She would look so beautiful in those colors.

My 2 beautiful granddaughters would each have a new sweater and matching beanie with a large flower.

Followed the steps. I would probably use it to knit my first sweater. I’m new to knitting and love the colors of your yarn they’re beautiful
Steps 1 and 2 done…..Liked and shared……what would I do with all this lovely yarn? If you could just see the stash of patterns I have that I keep saying “someday” and “when I find the right yarn”. I would probably make scarves or shawls that I could give as gifts, and of course make something for myself as well!!
I eagerly did steps 1 and 2! Now, what to do with that yarn if I win it? Hmmm, I think Ill actually make MYSELF something since I always seem to be making stuff for others. 🙂
nice, so pretty
I have completed steps 1 and 2, If I was chosen to win this prize and once received I would sit and finger it constantly, probablly rub it against my cheek as I would imagine it would be very soft and tactile. I wouldn’t show it to my daughter as she would want me to knit her a sweater with it, it would be mine and mine alone, after careful consideration I would consider knitting a cape or scarffe and hat set x
I completed steps 1 & 2. If I won the yarn I think there would be plenty to make a few hats, fingerless gloves and / or scarves. The possibilities are multiple and limitless!!!
Steps 1 and 2 done. I will knit or crochet a comfy shawl or lap blanket for my sister for her wedding gift. She’s getting married on August 31st. I would LOVE to use your awesome yarn for this!
I have completed the previous steps for the contest. I would use the yarn to make a shawl for my daughter. This is her favorite color way.
I would love this yarn to make some cute tops for my granddaughters!
Did the steps. Would love to win this to make a shawl.
I think I’d like to make the shawl pattern you featured on your website, though I might have buy a few skeins to add in to give it the right diversity. Oooh! That would definitely be fun!
I did the first steps and if I win, I’ll start working on Christmas gifts. 🙂
I’m not sure what I would do with this yarn. When it comes to creative things like this, I have to look at the yarn, touch it, and start to visualize what it wants to be. I like to crochet and I am learning a lot. I don’t have much free time so I tend to work on smaller projects like scarves, cowls, and small shawls. Your yarn is so beautiful!
I would love to win this yarn! It would help out my small knitting business so much! I would use it to add many more creations to my etsy shop.
I would crochet, crochet, crochet! I see some bags, a scarf … and so on, and so on …
I did all the steps . . . I would love to win this yarn. I would probably use it to make my daughter and I shawls or cowls. Something beautiful enough to try to do justice to the beautiful yarn.
I would love to win this gorgeous yarn. Although I sell a few things each month, As a disabled person I can not very often indulge in such gorgeous yarn as you sell. I have recently discovered free form crochet and this would make an absolutely gorgeous shawl,
I followed the steps and posts this on Facebook (http://on.fb.me/17hxafp) and Twitter (http://bit.ly/ZnilY5) too. I’m not sure what I would do with it…I like to feel the texture of the yarn in my hands before I decide on using it for a project. Someone mentioned your summer scarf pattern. I am intrigued and will perhaps make one of those for myself with this yarn.
Done all steps. I don’t know exactly what I’d do with the yarn if I win. I just love pretty yarn!
I liked and posted. April is my name and my birthday month, so this would be a great one for me to win, lol. Happy Birthday to me 🙂
Hi Chandi!
I did both steps one and two! Now what would I do with such gorgeous yarn? I think I would drool first and then go through my stash of patterns and figure out what the yarn wants to be made into! I can visualize slouchy beanies, socks, mittens, fingerless gloves and maybe even a shawl!
Thanks for all you do to make this a better world to live in! 🙂

I completed Steps 1 & 2. If I won I would make myself a beautiful shawl. I’ve made shawls, scarves and ponchos for others but I never got around to making one for me.
I completed the steps and my fingers are crossed, I would make a shawl and something for someone, pay it forward
I have completed both steps 1 and 2 as directed and would love to win. I would make a sweater I have been wanting if any left, maybe couple hats for next winter.
I did steps one and two and right now I’m doing step three! If I won the yarn, i would try my hand at making felted bags and such, since the yarn is wool…Unless it looks too beautiful to felt and lose the texture and stitches…I’d probably also make some hats & mittens & scarves for my nephews & niece up in Alaska because they get even colder winters than we do here in New Hampshire!!
I did both steps 1 and 2 above. Please pick me for the basket of yarn, I hope to make something for myself as I usually make for everyone else in my family and close friends.
Completing steps one and two… Love the colors and can only imagine the delightful textures… Will make something lovely for my purple-loving daughter…Just another reminder to Never Stop Dreaming and Hoping…anything is possible….
As requested, 1 and 2 done, and oh the things to play with…I’ve been making cowls with sock yarn lately and been on a shawl kick. Just have to see what the yarn says it wants to be. Other than just really pretty!
Done. It says I’m already subscribed. I assume that’s good? I’m thinking a couple of nested moebius scarves ala Cat Bordhi. And some freeforming – my newest addiction.
Liked/loved and shared and brimming over with shawl inspirations – beautiful yarn. Thanks for the dream 😀
I did steps 1 and 2 and if I won this I would make my daughter and a few preggo friends some awesome baby stuff!!!
Completed step 1 and two! I would make all sorts of crocheted dolls with this yarn!! I hope I win 🙂
Steps completed…I see Christmas prezzies and chemo caps in that loveliness!
I have completed steps 1 and 2! I just love your yarn! I am a graduate student in nursing and just can’t afford your yarn although I drool over it on a daily basis! Someday when I am a professor I will be able to purchase your yarn but for now I would LOVE to win this hatbox full of yarn. Knitting is my stress relief and I knit every day on the bus to and from school! Purple is my favorite color. With this beautiful yarn I would probably knit shawls, cowls, or possibly a caplet! Mmmm…. crossing my fingers!
I would love to win this yarn as I am planning on making a blanket for my soon to be great grandchild. Don’t know when he or she will arrive but want to be prepared for it . It will be my first great grandchild.
OMG if I won this yarn, I would be crazy happy and aflutter with all the things I COULD make. Perhaps a scarf,or a tank top, maybe some socks, or some mittens or a beautiful bag?? I would need to feel the yarn in my hands before I could make any decisions!! Oh but I would love to feel those yarns!!
I did all three steps.
First, after receiving the package, I would open it a touch and stare at it.
I’m obsessed with beautiful yarn.
Then I would display it like I would display a bouquet of flowers.
Then I might start crocheting with it, eventually!
I did both 1 and 2. If I win this yarn I will make wonderful gifts for my friends and family and especially my 2 and 3 yrs olds.
Completed both steps! I would make newborn props (layering blankets, hats, legwarmers) for my photography studio!!
I completed steps 1 and 2. Purple is my favorite color so I would probably find a baby pattern of some sort and create something cute.
Steps 1&2 complete. I’d use the yarn to make props for my photo business- cute leg warmers or pants and a matching hat or maybe some small prop blankies.
I am learning lace patterns and finally knitting for myself instead of my now-grown kids.
I love yarns and have in the past done my own spinning and so would love to try some of your yarns.
I´ve completed steps 1 and 2
I love yarns and have in the past done my own spinning and so would love to try some of your yarns.
I would use them to try out your yarn before ordering a supply for Memories Yarn Cafe’
I enjoy all the artistic endevors within the brilliant mind of the generous young woman who made this available to all of us. It keeps a wondering mind growing regardless of the age. Thank you for your sharing with so many women who have a desire to grow with design of self
Liked and Shared. What a thrill it would be to receive some yarn just for me especially if that yarn came from Expression Fibre Arts!! I usually have to rely on high days and holidays to receive really nice yarn and maybe, just maybe, I could knit something for me!!! 🙂
I see a pair of socks, some cowls or perhaps a hat & scarf in this box of lovelies. Beautiful!
I would love to win those wonderfull skeins and get inspired to make more weird and wonderfull tea cosies, hats, etc. x
Hi! I just watched your spinning video, niiiice job! Makes me want to get my wheel out and finish using up the roving that’s in the basket.
The contest is so cool, I’d love the challange of finding something to do with all those pretties ~ thank you for doing that, it’s very generous of you to share with us that way and yes, if you can’t tell: I’m buttering you up! Ha ha, although I know that the winners are chosen with our random method but couldn’t resist 😉
done and done! That yarn will become scarves! 🙂
I’ve done both steps 1&2, and depending on the yarn I’ll make premie hats or scarfs, mittens or a hat

I have done steps one and two! I will be making so many things with this yarn that I want to make such as sweaters and afghans, and I want to learn how to make hats, socks and gloves .I love knitting and I can’t wait to try new patterns!
Hi Chandi! Wow! I am an avid knitter of all things yarn… sweaters, afghans, childrens and baby items, toys… and I can crochet too. Right now I am searching for yarn for a shawl/wrap that I’m dying to get into (no pun intended…lol!) I will be sending you a separate email to discuss what I will need. I have a lot of UFO’s which I am currently working to reduce so that I can start something else with a clear conscience! But once I get there, I have several wants to take on… and this time I will be making something for ME! I have a habit of gifting everything and then I wonder why I never get around to myself.
I am dreaming about winning this magnificent basket of your yarn… so excited!
I love love love what you are doing with yarn… especially the gradients!
I’m a huge fan… Sue

I love yarn! I did steps 1 and 2. Not sure what I’ll make with it!
Thank you for the chance! I completed steps 1 & 2. I would use the beautiful yarn to make wonderful things for my crochet business, while keeping some to make something for myself which does not happen often but there is no way I could part with it all!! 😉
All steps are done! I would first spend some time cuddling/drooling all over it… Then make special gifts for the wonderful people in my life 🙂
I have done the steps and would love this box. I would look at the skeins and let them tell me what they are. They are all so unique, I am sure that they will be throwing ideas at me with their feel and color. Part of the pleasure of knitting is the feel of the yarn. Natural fibers feel so much better and knit up into far more pleasing results.
Steps 1 & 2 are complete. 🙂 Ooh, the yarn is so pretty!
I’d like to make a shawl, a pair of socks, and something funky for my girls with the really colorful yarn.
I have completed steps one, two, and three. I love yarn, I crochet and knit to keep my sanity. With these new beautitul yarns I would find new and different patterns to make things for those I love. Thank you for this opportuity to win beautiful yarn!

I have completed steps 1 and 2 . If I win the basket of yarn I will be crocheting a blanket for my husband to use in his chair. This may sound boring but in January he had a blood clot in his lungs and I almost lost him. He is only 48 years old and he has to now be on blood thinners for life. Thank god he is recovering nicely but he feels the cold all the time now and cannot get out as much as he used to so he has to be in the house so a warm blanket made with love would be a nice gift for him.
Hi, I did both one and two. I’m not sure what I’d do with it if I win, yet. Ideas strike me when I’m holding the precious in my hands. 🙂
I would have to search my library for the pattern that perfectly matched the yarn, before crocheting anything. Your yarns are much too beautiful for just any project.

I would love to win this lovely prize. After having emergency surgery in late March I am house bound for a few months and I can’t get out to shop for yarn, Oh the withdraws!!! Winning would ease my pain some 😉

I did both steps 1 and 2 and I will use the yarn to make prayer shawls for my local Hospice.
I’ve learned how to crochet in the 5th grade on a School field trip. My friend Iris brought her yarn and crochet needle and taught me the basics of crocheting. Sorry to say I don’t even remember the field trip because I was more focused on the crocheting part. If I am chosen as winner of this basket I’d like to make my friend Iris a beautiful wrap to match the beauty I see in her. We are still good friends with families of our own and live in different states, but we stay in contact as if it was that 5th grade field trip. Thanks for reading my short story and good luck to all of you~ love crocheting Jane
Hello, I completed steps 1 and 2. If I won the hat box of yarn; I would definitely split the skeins into two sets and donate 4 to our Knitting group at work; then use the other four to create a special gift for me!
I have completed steps 1&2, and after opening the box and holding the yarn for awhile, I’m sure it will tell me exactly what I should make and who I should make it for!
I completed the steps and would absolutely LOVE to win this yarn! If I won it would most likely be turned into scarves and hats because I love to accessorize! I haven’t been able to add any new yarn to my stash since my husband left me a year ago and would be delighted to knit with something new!!

Yes, I completed all the steps to enter the contest–tweeted the contest for you. This yarn looks so yummy! 🙂
Yes, I completed Steps #1 and #2. If I win the yarn, I will give it to Linda F-T because I know she really wants it and because she is a friend. (It has nothing to do with the fact that she is my boss at a non-profit where I volunteer or with the fact that I truly do need a space for my little desk once the office is re-arranged.) 🙂
1 & 2 done. I would have at least one silk shawl for myself! Maybe gift shawls to my mothers… So pretty!
Completed steps 1&2 I soooooo hope to win this beautiful yarn!!!!! If I win I’ll be making some beautiful head coverings for the ladies in our cancer care center at the hospital I work at!
Did it! As for what I will do with the yarn…I’ll have to wait and see what the yarn wants to be.
I would use most to crochet hats for Crochet for Cancer – Sadie Sunshine Chapter in Henderson, KY. I might make myself a cool scarf, too!
I completed steps one and two. I have several ideas-one is making hats for charity.
Entered, posted, and the first thing I would do with the yarn is drool on it. After it dried I would knit a cowl and a set of fingerless mittens for me!

I have completed Steps one and two. I have you as a “like” on my facebook page and I watch in awe of all the types and colors you have created. Although I have not purchased any at this time, I would love this hatbox full of your yarn as a sample of what you have done. Keep up the beautiful work Chandi. Hopefully one day I will be able to purchase your yarn and wear it in something beautiful. Thank you and have a Special Day!
I completed steps 1 and 2. OMG! What wouldn’t I do. I have so many ideas and not enough yarn. I love your yarns and hope I’m picked. 🙂
I did both – tweeted & posted to Facebook.. I love the colors you come up with on your yarn! and living in Alaska!
I am not sure what I’d make with the yarn – I’d have to hold it and let it speak to me as to what it wants to become!
I think that some of the yarn I think would make a great hat or maybe two, and some finger less gloves.. thank You for letting us be a part of your contest…
I did steps 1 & 2. If I win the hat box full of yarn, I’ll knit a variety of projects – socks (both adult and baby/ toddler sizes), wristlets (fingerless gloves), sweaters, hats, mittens, dog sweaters, …. the list is almost endless!
Hi, I really want to win the free yarn. I will make area rug, scarves and a bag. I recently started crocheting. I always dreaded of it. But I am in love with crocheting. I started with a scarf, and then a blanket and just completed two handbags last night.
This hat full of yarn will really help me (as I am unemployed) to enjoy knitting and crocheting.
Thanks.
I did both steps too! I’d probably add it to my stash to stare at for a little while and then find something to do with it. possibily a hat? I’m not sure.
I did steps 1 & 2. If I win I’ll probably just roll around naked on the yarn.
Steps one and two done. What would I do with it? Its kind of hard to decide without actually feeling the yarn. Thinking, depending on the yarn, maybe a beach cover up with a matching bag and hat or perhaps a shawl or bolero or two. Fingers crossed.
I recently had a ruptured brain aneyurism & almost died. If I were fortunate enough to win the yarn I would like to crochet blankets , clothing , toys etc. for my family to have as keepsakes. In any event though I feel very blessed just to be here & have more time on this earth with my family. :))))

Liked (they really need a “Love it” button) and shared… I love your yarns, so deliciously yummy and the colors are always so beautiful! Having preemie twin boys, it goes without saying that I also have limited funds, so yarn purchases definitely take a back-seat to everything else. This would be absolutely amazing to receive!
So many things I’d do with this yarn!… it’s gorgeous!!!
I’ve done both, by the way! <3

Don’t really know yet – would have to feel it, look at the colors, check out my pattern stash, see what it said to me. But, no doubt about it, I would just LOVE to win this yarn!
I’ve done steps one and two.
I haven’t had time to sit at my spinning wheel in years, and we cannot afford to buy wool and silk yarn given that we have an 8yo and twin 5yo girls. I would finally be able to make myself a sweater and not feel guilty about the amount of money going into it that should have been put into savings.

I did steps 1 and 2!! What would I make with this hat box of yarn?? I see a shawl or cowl for sure. Maybe a hat as well. The possibilities are endless! 😀

As for what I would do with it…. you mean after I stop drooling right? LOL! I’m still fairly new to the whole knitting scene…crochet still looks like Klingon to me, so…I don’t know what I’d do! Make my sister jealous with it! She knits and crochets too! Definitely have to do something great with it.
I did steps 1&2
I’ll be ready for new mittens next year, and I’d like to make myself a shawl.

I would have to have it in my hands and feel it, study it, smell it even, to know what I’d use it for, but it’s lovely and inspirational, so I’m sure I wouldn’t have a problem coming up with something.
I will have to wait till I see the yarn but it will probably be used to teach my grand-daughter to knit. Maybe scarves, purses, shawls, gloves, I just don’t know yet.

I have so many patterns I don’t where to start with what I would make. Probably a teddy bear or clothing for a teddy bear for starters. If not a teddy bear then a doll. Those are my favorites. But until it is in my hands and tells me what it wants to become I cannot commit the yarn. It tells me what it wants to be when it grows up 🙂
ahhhhhhh I would pet it and let it tell me what it wanted to become!
I love your colors and yarns and learning about your inspirations, it is spring here and i look at all that is blooming and think about colorways. I imagine I would share and knit with my sisters for a charity project at our annual (beoming more frequent its such fun) get togethers, last year we did chemo hats, now I am doing an anti bullying scarf, the choices are endless. And maybe something for me?!
I have completed all the steps. And first off thank you for the chance to even win this yarn. I have never used handspun yarn and this would be an amazing gift to receive. I would love to make a boppy pillow for my 5 day old nephew and some things for my two little girls! Again thank you so much for the opportunity to win!
Would be amazing to get!!
If I won I would make myself some things for once as I always make for everyone else!!
I am new to knitting and have gone absolutely nuts with it. Right now, I am using those round knitting looms and have made a giant box of hats, tea cozies and scarves. I can’t WAIT to learn more, make more, get more YARN. Finally, something I can do as a disabled person, sitting in my chair of an evening…and a day…and a weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get to win some of my FAVORITE COLORS.
I would make myself something fun for once.
I crochet all of the time and just joined a knitters group at church. They said they could teach me to knit after I am finished with this afghan I am working on. First project: socks for President GHW Bush! Mistakes and all!
If I am lucky enough to win the wool i would probably make a top for myself or a throw for the sofa, depends how far it will go, it will certainly be used as it is lovely looking wool.

I’ve started making hats and mittens for a friend at work that puts together stockings for families in need. She calls it “Socks for Tots and Teens”. She fills the stockings with lots of things to include hat and mittens, for which I am having so much fun making and donating all kinds of hats and mittens to her cause. She filled 100 stockings for Christmas just this last year. I feel so good knowing I can help her. That is what I would do with the yarn if I won it. Either way I will continue to help! Thanks you for the chance to win. Happy yarning! Pam
I’ve been doing a lot of work with crocheting since I was young, my great grandmother taught me when I was about 10 and she always did work with the church and working with the homeless to make sure that everyone around her is taken care of which is something that was taught to me growing up. If I win this yarn it would be used to make beanies for the homeless and newborn babies in the neonatal unit at the hospital in my town.

Just gone going through your article and I have to say, it was an absolute hoot. Your writing style is so engaging, I felt like I was on a wild goose chase with you. The picture you included were also a hoot, and I’m persuadedconvinced that you must have a photographic memory because they were so vivid. Keep it up, it’s a real trip!”
Thank you, Tommie! 🥰
