I have completed the necessary steps and am crossing every appendage I have in the hopes it will bring me luck. If I were so fortunate as to be the winner, I’d use the yarn to make items for the neonatal ward at my local hospital. My grandson spent a few days in NICU when he was born 8 years ago, and having hats and booties that don’t look “hospital-ish” makes a world of difference when you’re spending those precious moments with your little bundles. It just feels like home, and gets them one step closer to being there. If there is a bit left over, I’ll make something for my grandson as well.

I make blankets for Project Linus. I would turn it all into a scrap afghan for Project Linus.

I am thinking a nice pair of mittens & a hat for me for next winter. I made new for everyone from my family to my sitters kids but never made for myself. I think I would like to attempt socks and maybe some fun creatures for my kids to cuddle.

Or I may just make myself a new scarf. However, my little girl doesn’t have a matching scarf and hat yet (she is only 13 1/2 months old )

If I won I would gaze lovingly at the yarn for awhile then knit it up into ponchos for children in Africa.

All done entering. I could see my granddaughter stepping out in her new sweater as I am typing. It’s always fun to knit new patterns and I belong to a very active knitting group knows as the KnitWits. We share our work as well as our thoughts.

I have been knitting for over 60 years…learned as a child at summer camp..and have such fond memories of my first sweater. It was to be for me…turned out too large for even my father!

I’ve done steps 1 and 2 – this yarn is so lovely – I make prayer shawls for my community, but I would need to sit with this yarn and see what it was saying – maybe a scarf, hat or cowl for someone special – or that really special pattern for a shawl – for whoever wins – thank you for your generosity

I’m making (weaving and knitting) shawls for those of us that are sick or are in need of comfort. The comfort comes from the superb diversity of wool and the prayers that are woven in. The more colour the better to make each one unique. And I don’t charge ❤ it’s a labour of Love and faith x.

Hi! I completed the steps as you requested! Nothing planned right now, but after using your yarn recently for the first time, I find that it has a personality all of its’ own. Each yarn has its’ own texture, color and weight, so it follows that you kind of have to “let the yarn speak to you” when you can finally touch it and take a minutes to get to “know one another”. This is so exciting! If I win your beautiful yarn, I would be able to make some gifts I can’t afford right now. I also just started a new business from home of making little crocheted or knitted animals. I made my daughter one and now everyone seems to want one. Problem is, I made my first one with hand dyed wool and now everyone wants hand dyed wool! Problem is, I haven’t made enough money on the ones I made to afford more hand dyed wool. By winning this lot, I’d at least get ahead. I think! Lol… Anyway, I’d just be esstatitic if I did win.

What I would do with the box of yarn is work on a new blanket for my little girl who is graduating to a big girl bed this summer.

I love to knit and crochet. I finished steps one and two. I collect yarn from all over to make hats for premies and the children at St. Judes. My quilting buddies also like to make things for the homeless and the shelters. Some make quilts. I make quilts, hats just anything I can think of. We also save all the shampoo, soaps, etc from hotel rooms when we do any traveling and donate these to the shelters at the end of the year. We keep busy!

I’m learning the wonderful art of weaving and would so love to win this collection to work with! Thank you Chandi for this chance. : )

So, steps 1 & 2 done. So for step 3…I see some knit mittens and a hat for my little girl, a crochet cover for my kindle and I’d like to start making some of the puzzle pieces from Megan Ellinger’s autism awareness blanket. All in all, a lot to keep me busy and my needles click-clacking!

Wow! Gorgeous – truly like a dream come true if I were to win! I would use two-three of the skeins to knit a multiple-colored shawl – I favorited a pattern of Romi Hill’s the other day that I would knit! I would make a purplish hat for my mom (purple is her favorite color). What would I do with such a windfall? Teach myself how to make lacy knits with the finer yarns. I have tended to choose bulkier yarns since they knit up quickly and deliver that wonderful feeling of accomplishment that much faster. However, with really wonderful soft silky yarns, why rush when you can prolong the pleasure?

If I won, I’d knit up some super cute socks for me, and most of the fun bright yarn would go towards the local hat charity that my friends and I crochet for. My daughter will get a pair of mittens for her Christmas stocking, my husband will get new gloves, and any bits of the scrap yarn gets cut and put outside for the birds to make nesting materials with! <3

The past year I have been busy teaching crocheting to middle school girls who are making things for charity and making baby blankets for relatives, so I think I would make something for myself out of this beautiful yarn. I have osteo arthritis and fibromyalgia, so…maybe a shawl or socks or fingerless glovess or all of the above. 🙂 Love your yarn!

Infinity scarves and or socks! I love knitting and as an actor it’s a great time passer on set and back stage! I love knitting socks because they are so casy to carry around on a commute. I have discovered Entrelac and infinity scarves. I put the two together and l love the results!

I’ve already subscribed, so I liked – posted and shared. Also, tweeted. Now, what would I do? Hmmmm, I see scarves or shawls, charity items and maybe even a purse or pretty bag. So many things to think about! I really love these contests. Oh, and the Hat Box! What a great way to store my projects incognito!

I would love to win this hat box full of yarn, but I don’t have either a facebook account or twitter account. Guess that means those of us without either of these can’t enter. Too bad we can’t enter.

I have completed steps 1 and 2 (unless my computer throws another temper tantrum and refuses! This happens to me. My wool is much better behaved!) My plan, unless the yarn itself has other ideas, is to make some items to add to a fundraiser for my good friend’s 25th b-day party. Her life hasn’t always been easy at all, and I’d like to help her have an amazing quarter-century celebration.

I love yarn especially blues, purples and greens. I have been knitting like crazy lately. I was inspired by your efforts with the Hitchhiker pattern so I made two of them. Now I am making a teddy bear for my 1st Grandson. Would love to make him a sweater, hats, mittens etc. for him, I think you can follow me here.

Oh my. What would I do with all this deliciousness. I have recently decided to try learning stranding (Fair Isle) knitting, and really need a good amount of natural fibre to try and get some projects under my belt. I’ve found some lovely hats which are in two colours, and would use most of the yarn to make several of those. The fun yarn would require something special, I’d really like to try a pair of mittens out of that.

I would crochet some hats,hats and more hats and maybe a cowl to keep my kiddies and me warm thru england’s chilly spring (so far..).

Clicked shared tweeted and crossed fingers not too easy to knit or crochet with fingers crossed but worth the effort. I would crochet up an amazing jacket for spring with this wool, I am doing the Craftsy course on Tunisian crochet and loving learning a new twist to my woolcrafting.

I think my first project would be a tank style top, then maybe a scarf to match.

I love making fingerless mitts and usually need only 1 skein to make them so I could make lots. Or sometimes when I see the yarn I know exactly what it wants to be. I also could use some to get started on Christmas gifts, it’s never toooooo early.

I subscribed to your mailing list awhile ago and shared the contest on Facebook (there seemed to be a bit of a glitch though – it wouldn’t tell me I had already subscribed, and I got error messages). If I were to win the yarn, I would have to feel it and hold it and before I knew what purpose it might fulfill… I’ve been wanting to knit some fingerless mitts, so I might try something along those lines.

Completed both steps 1 and 2. Currently have a passion for free form crochet items – working on flowers… maybe for some boho style apparel.

Steps 1 & 2 complete. What would I do? Haven’t a clue. I rarely keep anything for myself. Ideas come to me as I wind the skeins, feel the yarn and see the play of light. My fantasy is making something utterly ridiculous for a couple of soldiers I know who are “down range”, but I wouldn’t – have to stay within the lines of what is acceptable. Maybe when they come back and can have something joyous.

Hi there, Thanks for letting us all have a chance at this yarn! So Exciting! I’ve followed the steps to enter the contests and now I’m thinking about all the things that could be made. Though I’ve knitted for many years, I’m still new to crochet so there make be a couple of cute little amigurumi characters made from this, as well as a head start on christmas crafting. And of course I’ll have to introduce this yarn to my stash and make sure they get along 🙂

I would be honored to receive any of your yarns! I’ve never had a chance to knit with silk yet, but would love to try sometime. I’m not sure what I would knit with the yarn, but I do know that many of my creations go to other people! I’m knitting a wild sweater for myself right now that is becoming whatever it wishes to be!
