“Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” -Harvey MacKay

To try and tell you how much I love to dye wool would be impossible. I think I like it more than knitting. GASP! Did I just say that? It’s a maybe. Tough call.

It’s so fun! Instant gratification. Vibrant shades appearing before my eyes. I love it!

So Sunday I spent 13 hours dyeing up wool and alpaca fleeces (sheared right off the animals and shipped to me), wool rovings (I’ve got some Corriedale, Perendale and mystery wools so far), and even some wool yarn.

I wanted to create rich, vibrant tones, including gradients and rainbow shades.

Here are some sneak peeks for you:

Plus many, MANY more shades. They’re all drying right now and will be listed in the shop very soon. I’m guesstimating a week or two. The fleeces will be a new addition to the shop and will be sold in color groupings, in bundles. More info soon.

Enjoy your day and do something you enjoy!
