I’ve been Dyeing Yarn. A Lot. New Collections to be Released Soon!

I have 240 skeins of yarn to get dyed so I can release my new collections!

I have them all planned out in my head and I’m beyond excited!

As I was eating lunch the other day, literally it just popped into my head that I wanted my new yarn collections to be based around the 4 elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

So far I have around 100 skeins dyed up (96 to be exact), so I’m almost half-way done! I should be done within the next few days, but about a week or two at the very latest, should things get busy. (Which is probably the case)

I’ve got colors all through the rainbow and each time I see the next color I think, “This is my favorite!” I truly love them all so much. It’s like choosing among your children (or at least how I imagine having children would feel like, as I don’t have any); how do you choose your favorite? Each has its own, unique qualities.

On other news, I got my  new iPhone 4s in the mail!  Boy howdy, this baby is amazing!! The camera is insane. The quality is so much better than my iPhone 3gs that I have been using, so be on the lookout for better photos! And it records high definition video! YouTube tutorials, anyone? Oh, fun fun!

Also, I got all my soy silk, silk and merino wool roving dyed up. Here’s a little teaser for you of some of the shades: (These will be listed in our shop soon!)

So I’m off now to play around on my new iPhone 4s work very hard!!
