My new wool yarn shipment is here!
My initial testing phase on eBay and etsy is over and I’m now officially in the yarn and fiber business! Yippee!
So. Yesterday, my first line of yarn arrived. 55 lbs of soft, luminous, pearly light fingering-weight washable wool yarn. Whoa!! It’s so gorgeous. I could almost cry; I’m so in love with it!
I plan on dyeing collections, with solids and hand-paints, making matching quick and effortless for you!!!
My excitement level is THROUGH THE ROOF!
So I’m off to get them soaking and dyeing and I shall return with further updates as I have them!!
But FIRST! I’m dyeing this: (5 lbs of super soft merino wool roving)

I was curious to know what kind of dyes do you use? You mention in another post that they are acid types..but which? and do you use citric acid?
I love painting and i wnat to try collors in my yarns 🙂
