Welcome to the blog, my fabulous fiber-loving friend! I’m bursting with GLEE that you’re here! Hello, hello!!
Today I am clearing up some of the mystery and fear of working with lace weight yarn.
Don’t be afraid of all that luscious yardage – it’s just more bang for your buck and TONS of entertainment hours with just one skein of yarn!
And lordy, the pattern options are endless. Shawls, sweaters, cowls, scarves, hats, mittens, SO MANY THINGS!
Have a watch and please don’t leave without:
- Commenting below and letting me know if you’ve worked with lace weight before. If so, did you enjoy it or do you prefer a different yarn weight?
- Subscribe to my email newsletter here to receive updates on when my next video in this series will go live. If you’re new, you’ll get a coupon right away that you can use for any of our yarns or patterns! I will also let you know when we have new products, new coupons, free patterns, big yarn giveaways and lots more. No worries – I value your privacy and hate spam too – you can opt out at ANY time and I will never sell/rent/giveaway your info. XOXO
THANK YOU for watching. Thank you for taking time out of YOUR busy, hectic day to spend a few minutes with me. You are AWESOME and I’m so tickled to connect with you.

Chandi
The yarn is lovely and I hope to work with it soon.
Very helpful video, Chandi. It’s helpful to see actual footage of how it drapes. The pattern ideas is also very helpful. I have recently started using fingering weight and maybe soon I can handle lace weight. Do you have recommendations for needles that would make it easier to handle lace weight? I’ve tried with my wooden needles and it’s very discouraging trying to do a K3 or P3 together ack!
Thanks so much! Have some lace weight in my stash but hadn’t known what to do with it.
Love all colors ordered some lace yarn and I’m having a hard time working with it any tips 😊
I would love to help! What seems to be the challenge?
