I did it! I hope I win! My daughter is obsessed with rainbows, so I would not have to look very far for a project.
I did 1&2. I love yarn and think about what to do with the new colors and types. I especially enjoy creating new baby sweaters.
I love being able to take a skein of yarn and when I’m done I have something useful. I love the feeling of creating.
Done both steps, what’s not to like about yarn, but my favorite thing has to be the possibilities it holds!
done and done! Hummm my fave thing about yarn… the fact that you can always have more!
Did both steps! The feel of yarn-love it!
I did steps 1 & 2, my favorite thing about yarn is how versatile it is, you can make soooo many things with it, not to mention it comes in such pretty colors!
I’ve been a subscriber and I tweeted, pinned, and liked. I love the versatility of yarn. I can crochet with it, or make yarn dolls. I can make my daughter something so she can stay warm this winter, and I can make a beach bag for summer time.
I also did steps one and two. I would do any number of steps to have a chance to win this pretty yarn.
I love yarn cause you can make things that are amazing, keep people warm or give them comfort. Plus I like seeing what sort of pattern a variegated yarn will work into it. Done with all the steps!
I love yarn because it’s a talent I am proud to have and I always have 3-4 projects on the go because I can’t get enough of it 🙂 Time Flies when you do something you love!
Ooh, yay! Another giveaway!
I am already subscribed and I pinned this here: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/91620173643170823/
One of my favorite things about yarn is the potential in each skein. You can make a big project, something small, try a new technique, or just look at and touch it.
Did both steps! My favorite thing about yarn is a few things, actually.
I love how versatile it is, how it can be made into so many things and I love how it can be made with different materials and how it can come in so many beautiful colours. Yarn is awesome!
Done! Love it, Chandi!
I completed steps 1 and 2.
I love yarn because it is consumable therapy. I can stash it and pull it out when I need it. It can be turned into so many beautiful things and if all else fails the creation can be taken apart and turned into something else.
Hi Chandi,
I’ve done both steps. I love the fact that you hand dye your yarn.
I have done 1 and 2.
I have to say that my favourite thing about yarn is the possibility. You never know what will come out of it until you are done, and just thinking about the many various things that can be made with one ball of yarn is so fun!
There are many reasons why I love yarn: The colors, the feel, and the unlimited possibilities of what it can become are the top three.
done 1&2
i love what i can make with yarn some many things toys clothes almost anything you can need in ur house i love to make stuffys for the kids and hats for my family
Forgot to say I did steps 1 and 2 🙂
Done! I love yarn because it is a blank palette for creativity
I love the feeling of yarn as you are knitting and seeing how it turns out after you are done with a project.
Shared! Beautiful!
I’ve signed up for your newsletter and shared the contest on FB. My favorite thing about yarn is the feel of it – it is so sensual and comforting and it’s so wonderful to be able to create something that you keep with you always. I actually own a LYS and it’s been the best experience of my life, besides my children. I love just walking around the store and feeling of the different yarns, thinking of all the things that I can make with them. Then, when customers come in, I get to share that love with them and they always respond favorably because they know that it’s a real love with me and I’m not just trying to sell them something. There’s times when it makes me sad to see a yarn go out the door with a customer because I loved it but just hadn’t figured out what to make with it. I always make them promise to come back and show me what they made or send me a picture and most of them do it!
I am already a subscriber. I posted to all the sites. I love the feeling of yarn passing through my fingers and creating beautiful and/or useful projects. Most are gifts or donations.
Done and done. Rainbows are some of my favorite things so projects with this would be easy. I love yarn because it’s warm and squishy and makes me very happy! Besides, this wants to come home to my new cubbies just for yarn! 🙂
I did 1&2. I love yarn because it just makes me happy!
1 & 2 done!
And why I love yarn? Let me count the ways… It is a sensory delight with so many different textures to caress and endless ways to express oneself through colour and design. It is a thing of pure beauty and joy just on its own (how many of us have bought yarn just because it needs to be had with no idea of what it will become) and then to be used in countless methods to become an item of luxury or necessity, or bring luxury to an item of necessity. It is the product of a rewarding process and the promise of self expression and creativity.
*crossingfingers* I hope I win!! I love yarn and rainbows, so this is PERFECT! 🙂
My favorite thing about yarn? The potential. I love the way it feels, and how it all comes together like magic, but I MOST love looking at my stash and seeing the potential of what is tucked away inside each skein. <3 So many amazing things! I can't wait until they come into being!
I did steps and love making beautiful stuff for my family.
It’s Pinterested and FaceBooked in one east click! What I like about yarn…. the warm and cozy childhood memories of afghans, mittens, and sweaters.
Love your yarn colors Chandi!! It’s always scrumptious looking!!

Did both steps.
Love your yarn so much!!Great colors, texture and fast shipping! What more could knitter want?!!?

Yarn is like comfort food!
I did it! My favorite thing about yarn is that it is squishy and soft and comes in rainbow and neon colors. Also it is soft, soft is very important.
Ok, did all the steps!
ENDLESS possibilities with yarn! You can take yarn and turn it from a twisted long string of fiber into beautiful pieces of clothing, or artwork, or..or..or… 🙂
My favorite thing about yarn everything. The feel, the colors and the endless thing you can make with it.
Done and Done. 🙂
I simply love yarn. Spinning it, dyeing it, knitting it, crocheting it…….
I would love to win this beautiful yarn and would make a special shawl for a friend. Oh yes, I completed steps 1 & 2. Thanks for yor cheerfulness and inspiration. 😉
I love yarn because as it calms me down I can nurture it as it nurtures me. I can spend time watching TV and when I am through, I have something to show for my laziness! I can keep yarn as my constant companion and wherever I go, I’ll have something to do and not feel so alone. People ask you what you are making, like people who go up to a person walking a dog. I never mind waiting for appointments that are late, because I have something to do.
I tried to do both. Not sure about step 2. but I’ll go back to my facebook page and share this.
Thanks. I hope I win.
I would make Christmas Presents
Sharing in fb

You always ask the hardest questions.

The bright colours are beautiful having them show up at my door in Dec. would surly brighten the day !
I did the steps! I love everything that has to do with yarn. The softness, the texture, and the beautiful colors. Not to mention all the wonderful projects and patterns! I am absolutely addicted to crocheting. When I walk into the yarn aisles of a store I can’t contain my love for yarn! I can’t help my urge to buy all the yarn in the entire store! The rainbow yarn is absolutely perfect too! I’ve recently been acquainted to a new project of a rainbow blanket that my best friend wanted me to make her and I think this yarn will be perfect for it!!! So excited! I hope I win!
Done! Love making socks, hats, and sweaters for my family
My favorite thing about yarn is not totally knowing the final outcome of the pattern until you have finished the project. And, also that everyone’s project will look different even though it is the same. 🙂
I love the feel of yarn and watching it transform into something as I’m knitting with it.
Oh, and I completed both steps.
Steps done.
Yarn makes me feel good like a ((HUG)). I get to make things.
Love the color changes in the rainbow yarn! I would make a hat!
I did both steps, and I love all the different colors and weights

Oh and I did both steps for the contest.
love the colors and my grandson would love a blanket/throw made from it
Really like the rainbow yarn, this would be perfect for my granddaughter as she loves anything rainbow!
Steps 1 and 2 done. Where yarn is concerned I’m all about colour and texture.
I did it!! Pick me!
I did Step 1 a long time ago and each time I enter. I did Step 2.
My favorite thing about yarn is the COLORS! There is a whole world of colorful yarn out there but yours are some of my favorites and wish they were available all year round!
To create fabric with yarn makes me feel like I contribute to something good 🙂
I did steps 1 and 2 and my favorite thing about yarn is the colors! And you can take a simple strand of yarn and create a masterpiece! It is amazing!!!
Ohhh yarn… i love the possibility of yarn of its pure potential to be anything. have an odd fondness for rainbow colorways , maybe because the rest of my wardrobe is very neutral its always easy to fit in. and what’s better better than knitting and wearing rainbows to chase away winter doldrums? As for knitting my favorite things is that there is always visible progress. as a mom so much never seems done. there’s always more dishes more laundry, but knitting is sure and steady progress. admit keeps us warm and makes my kids cute
And i did steps one and two!
I did both steps. I love the look and feel of yarn and that you can make so many different things for everybody.
Did Steps 1 & 2…I love collecting yarns of different colour and texture, there’s just something about being able to turn them into something beautiful and useful for myself or someone else that warms my heart.
Steps done! I love seeing the different colors of yarn!
Shared and commented. I have a special love for rainbows
I did it! And I love everything about yarn… the look and feel and inspiration that comes from just looking at it, and then knitting or weaving it up into something yummy. 🙂
I just love yarn and allll the possibilities!!!!!!!!!
Did steps 1 and 2. The best thing is the process of the project!
Entered as instructed! My favorite thing about yarn is the endless possibilities that come with every skein, as well as the feeling of near-euphoria when I find one that I absolutely cannot live without. Whether it’s the color, or the fiber content and how it feels against my skin, I love how it appeals to my senses and makes me feel like I can do anything.
I like taking a piece of beautiful string and making it into something useful and beautiful to use. Creativity is soul food!
I have done steps one and two, now on to number 3. I love how yarn has the amazing ability to take all of my worries, fears, and anxiety away. When I am workimg with fiber I have no worries, my only focus is creating something as spactular as I can possibly make with my two hands. Yarn has kept me calm through the passing of my dad, and continues to keep me calm on a daily basis. <3 Thank you for reading.
I enjoy planning what wonderful thing I can make next with yarn. Different textures and colors make working with yarn fun. I love seeing the trans formation from ball of yarn to …whatever I dream up.
I have entered and shared. I love all the possibilities of yarn! It fun just imagining what to make. I REALLY REALLY love anything rainbow!!!
Done, done & now I’m back to say I know exactly who I’d make something with this yarn. Thing a little girl in our life would love a hat or scarf in this yarn. Love to make her smile.
And both are completed! (Although I was already on the list~)
I think my favorite thing about yarn is that it can be so many things, so many colors, warmth, cute, toys, etc. The possibilities are limitless, the potential is all in your imagination.
I have done the first 2 steps… And the best thing about yarn? It is full of possibilities. You can use it to tie things with, simply. Then when you add the twisting and wrapping and weaving of strands that is knitting or crocheting, that string becomes a fabric! It is magic.
I did 1 and 2. My favourite thing about yarn is all the amazing colours!
love creating things that are warm and cozy and unique. my grama taught my. that was her gift to me.
Done and done. Would love to win rainbow yarn, I would make something to keep for myself with this instead of giving everything away!
I’ve done both, and I’m a rainbow fanatic!
<3 I could make so many things. <3
I’ve done both steps.
I love the art that is the yarn itself and then the new art it becomes after it speaks to you when it picks what it wants to be.
I did it! I love bright colors. One of the things I dislike about winter is the dark colors for clothes. I would love to have some rainbow yarn to make something pretty for the cold winter days ahead.
I already get your newsletter, I just shared on twitter, and my favorite thing about yarn is all the wonderful things I can make with it!
Steps 1 and 2 done!

First two steps done. #3: I love yarn because it contains infinite possibilities. It is texture, it is color, and both of those are enhanced by being worked into an enormous amount of possible stitches and patterns. It’s magic!
Done with steps 1 & 2! Now, what do I love about yarn? Well, I love how forgiving it is. There are not many other medias, I know of, that you can pull a project back to square one without having wasted any material! Plus, it’s soft and sooooo pretty!
its soft, colorful and i can make anything i want from it.
Rainbows and uni uni unicorns!
Done. And done.
My favorite thing about yarn is every yarn has a different purpose and it’s so much fun finding that purpose.

I love the uniqueness of the colours available! The endless possibilities of things that can be created and crafted! <3
Did steps one and two!
Did both steps! I love yarn because I love to make accessories to complement my wardrobe. Lace shawls make everything more fab.
I love, love, love yarn! I constantly have at least three projects going on at once (sometimes more) I can never get enough of the fibery goodness, the way it feels, smells, works up as I am knitting or crocheting. I love the color of this yarn!
Finished all 3 steps now
Pretty!! My favorite thing about yarn is the the incredible colors it can have.

A glorious lift.
Yarn, I do love thee!
I just love the feel and texture of the yarn as it flows over my fingers into whatever I am knitting or crocheting…..
Woo-hoo! Have shared on facebook, twitter, Instagram, Pinter and Flickr!!!
I LOVE YARN! Whether new or old, it’s like holding memories in your hands – soft, warm, gentle, joyous memories of people and times gone by or anticipation of those yet to come!
This yarn looks so yummy and squishy! GOSH! Did both: signed up for the newsletter and pinned it.
You can never have enough yarn. There are so many different fibers, blends and colorways to try! I love to buy it as a souvenir. Everytime I’m traveling I’ll go in some local yarn shops. Back at home I knit with the yarn and have memories to my travel. And yarn is easy to care in the suitcase then anything else – it gets never broken.
I completed steps 1&2… My favorite thing yarn is being able to create fabulous gifts!
Hi Chandi,

Just got in my first order from you – the yarn is fantastic. Not sure what I will do with the prize yarn but it will be fun!
I also pinned this…can’t wait to make something
I did both steps. Tweet link here: https://twitter.com/tangling_vines/status/397713731645210624
I love yarn because… let me see… there’s actually quite a lot of reasons!
1. I love the idea forming a “fabric” by “strings”, it’s like what people say “knitting (crocheting) unity”. You can kinda feel the unity (or is it simply tension?) within it.
2. By using yarn you can create strong fabric of any size and pattern you want. It contains lots of possibilities, so different from other materials like fabric and paper.
Many more reasons keep popping up in my mind, and I know I wouldn’t finish this post within 10000 words if I continue typing. So I will save the rest for tomorrow/ later.

My granddaughter would look wonderful in something knitting from this yarn. I am subscribed and I shared on facebook
Yes I want to win this yarn! Yes I did everything!! OMG!! My 13 year old would love this made into a Rainbow Dash scarf!!!
Winter scarves with spring fling colors!
I did it!
I love EVERYTHING about yarn…oh, yeah, and creating anything with it! Possibilities are endless!
I was in a car crash five months ago. Forced to drop out of my freshman year of college and pretty much bedridden I have taken up knitting and crocheting to a new level…I already knew how, I could cricket blankets or knit back and forth to make a scarf…but now all my Christmas gofts are things I’m making now…since I’m not working I can’t afford to buy yarn so this would be such a huge blessing! And I’ve done both steps and I’m going to do them everyday if I can remember…
done; done
Yarn-I love the colors and textures possible.
i have just started to crochet, so far so good! 🙂 i love rainbow colors as well. followed all the steps.
I did all the things!! 🙂 I love the possibilities in every little ball of yarn, it can grow up to be anything!

Yarn is awesome because it can be made into just about anything.
Oooooh! I want this one. I NEED it! Oahu is the rainbow island and there is a rainbow somewhere on this island, every single day.
I have been signed up for your newsletter for some time now, and I just shared this on my timeline on Facebook. My favorite thing about yarn is the myriad things one can do with it and to it and how it feels and all the different fibers that can be made into yarn, and spinning and weaving, and sheep and alpacas. Am I going on too long here? LOL
I see baby blankets, hats, gloves or scarves coming out of this gorgeous yarn! 🙂
Wow, that’s pretty! I shared on twitter.
I love the journey of yarn: from dirty fleece, to pretty colors, to stitches, and finally to a useful work of art. Thanks for the chance 🙂
would love to win
I have done both steps, I like the texture and vibrant colors.
Have shared again on Facebook and twitter! Another reason I love yarn is the many ways you can use it from simply wrapping it round a gift to knitting a whole room (saw that on Facebook recently!) and everything in between!
Yay! I shared on Pinterest … first time I’ve managed to do that …
I LOVE yarn for the feeling of it, and the amazing things I can create with just two sticks and a bunch of yarn … LOVE IT!!!

Fibers are amazing. There are so many things to make yarn out of. Like bison hair – who knew?
Signed up and shared! Your videos helped me finally figure out the purl stitch! I love yarn and how there are so many different kinds. Crocheting and knitting really help me deal with my depression/anxiety, and you can’t do that without yarn! <3

I did 1 and 2. I love how versatile yarn is. If you know how, you can make anything with it!
Yayyyy!!! Another giveaway!!! THANK YOU, CHANDI, for the opportunity!!! And congrats to October’s winner!!! I’ve been subbed for a long time, and I pinned, tweeted, and shared on my personal facebook page!
My favorite thing about yarn… oh gosh… I don’t think there is a word for it. When I see yarn, my heart seriously skips a beat or two 😉

I joined/signed up/ entered to win and shared on facebook. Hope to win to make some mittens for children with this!
Steps 1 and 2 done 🙂
What I love about yarn is four things. One, just the feel of it and the look of it BEFORE I make it into anything. Two, things that I can make with it! Three…the way it feels different when made into something…and four the fact that my cats love it, so love to hang around me when I’m knitting (no, none of them are yarn eater, we used to have one but as long as I watched her and put everything away she was good).
did both steps
yarn = creativity and fun
Such yummy beautiful yarn!
I love the possibility in yarn–even before getting to colors/textures/etc!
done and done. Rainbow colors on yarns? A beautiful reason to knit something warm to get through the drab and blah winter months 🙂
I love yarn because of all the beautiful things I can make that bring people so much pleasure. I love seeing the happiness in people’s eyes when I give them something I have made. Plus I love seeing all the beautiful colors of all the yarn I buy in the bins. Like a rainbow exploded!
All done! I need some rainbows right about now! 🙂
to many to count. but the first favorite thing is all the wonderful color possibles. and how much changing a color cam completely change the look of whatever you make with that yarn.
I did both Steps 1 and 2 and my favorite thing about yarn is that it’s soft. I tend to like most colors but if yarn isn’t soft, I won’t buy it. The feel of the yarn gives an added sensory experience to knitting. Not quite as nice as holding a warm baby but way up there on the tactile list.
i love that there is endless possibilities that a simple ball of yarn can turn into!
Done both! Love this color way!
Happy knitting for the holidays
Would love this to make something for my niece!
I have completed both steps and will like on FB when I get back there. I am just learning how wonderful hand dyed yarns are and with my birthday on Sat I am looking to do something new. I love the way the colorways magically change depending on item made.
I love the feel of yarn as you create items. Knitting gifts for family and friends lets you think of the person and stitch with love woven into you item! when you give the gift you can tell them that each stitch is a stitch of love!

Back with my other reasons of loving yarn:
3. Yarn can be used in so many projects. Yarn is more than to knit or to crochet, it could also be art journal-ed, knotted in string jewelries, mix-media-ed, yarn-bombed, or simply hugged with (I prefer hugging the whole ball/skein than the finished project most the time)
4. This one is simple – yarn makes me drool like a baby. I guess everyone agrees with this, right?
I will come up with more ideas later. Good night (/day)!
-tanglingvines
I facebooked about this here: https://www.facebook.com/emily.boyd.1804

Hi. Me again. Tweet link: https://twitter.com/tangling_vines/status/399841043241111552
Back with my other reasons for loving yarn:
5. Yarn is such a good media to express feelings. When I feel sad or angry, I knit fast and loosely, and the whole project will be full of loops. When I am calmed, I usually knit tighter. By looking back to my previous projects, I see the obstacles I was facing. It is like a life diary.
6. Antoher thing about emotions: By knitting or whatever yarn crafts you are doing, I guess we all get relaxed. It always work for me when I have great pressure or overcoming great obstacles in life.
That’s all I have today. I’ll be back soon.
-tanglingvines

I love yarn because it reminds me of my grandmother and mom. My mom still knits and she learned from her mom. My grandmother was always trying to teach me when I was younger. I never had the patience. Grandma is gone but mom is still knitting. I figure better late than never. My plan is to knit my mom a scarf for Christmas.

Tweet link: https://twitter.com/tangling_vines/status/400366818486792192
7. I love the gradients of yarn (when it is gradient) more than the gradient of the entire fabric (like after finishing a knit piece then dye it the result is different)
8. I love the fluffiness of yarn and the even fluffier outcome.
Till next time.
-tanglingvines

I am a texture person, I love touching yarn, I love the colors and watching it go from thread to fabric as it is crocheted. I love it and your colors Chandi are absolutely gorgeous! I am never fast enough, my favorites always sell out before I have a chance to look at them.
How do I describe my love of yarn? If I don’t work with yarn everyday then I am not a very happy person! In fact, knitting and spinning and crochet helps to keep me from going absolutely bonkers! Yarn allows me to make clothing and accessories for my friends and family! No one in my family truly understands my love for yarn but that doesn’t matter to me because yarn and my fellow yarnie friends know what I mean if I can’t at least touch it! 🙂
Steps 1 and 2 done
I like to colors of yarn. The brighter the better.

I love working with yarn because it starts as one dimension and as you work with it becomes something entirely different. Two people working with the same yarn can create wholly different visions.
Did both, favorite thing about yarn? The things you can create with yarn.
Oh my smurfs!!! That yarn is just so fun looking, I think I would have to make my Munki a dress and my Peanut a hat with that, they love colors as much as their Memaw does 🙂 Beautimus!!!!!!!

When I buy it and before I crochet with it and again when I am working with it and finally when my project is completed and I hold onto the item and feel it’s softness and I admire how my color choices look. Oh and when the person receiving my gift looks and tries the item on. To me that’s Happiness!

I love that it comes in sooooo many different tasty colors, textures, and thicknesses… that it’s so incredibly versatile and can be made into so many different wonderful things…. That it’s so much fun to collect, and to give as gifts…. But I think my very favorite thing about yarn is the wonderful memories that are created and cherished when mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc. get to teach loved ones how to use it to knit, crochet, and otherwise create beautiful decorative and practical things.
I love to knit with different yarns, instead of the same old ones. These look lovely to do some fingerless-gloves or scarves with…

I did both steps 1 & 2. What I love about yarn is the knowledge that it is going from something so raw as fiber to something so finished as a piece of clothing, a toy, a homegood, etc. Very exciting.

Tweeted, facebooked, pinned!! Did step one and two and a bit more. What do I love about yarn? So sensual, colour, texture and sometimes scent!!! Yum!
I love the feeling it gives you as you’re working on a project and the joy when you finish. 🙂
Oh I did both steps and I love everything you can make out of yarn!
Love that the entire “character” of yarn changes as you turn into something almost completely different than the 1st impression you had of it.
I’ve sign-up & shared the contest FB announcement.
Now what I love about yarn…
Maybe it’s the level of my experience (been knitting/crocheting for a 16 months), but I am always so surprised to see how certain yarns knit up. How the colors change in & out of the stitches. And then if I chose to crochet the yarns how much they differ from the knit version. It’s always a fun mystery. The texture of the yarns also knits & crochet’s up so differently too. The softest yarn turns into a sturdy hat or a shawl w almost “liquid” drape all depending on the type of stitch, needle & hook size chosen. There is an anticipation at making something like the pattern chosen w the whimsy of unexpected color changes.
I did both steps and I also love rainbows.
I completed step 1 & 2! I love that yarn inspires me to create something that I will cherish!
I did 1 and 2 and that would make a gorgeous receiving blanket for a baby!

First two steps completed (new email address) and I absolutely LOVE the color and texture of yarn, especially your yak-silk!

Liked shared. Love the work you do:)
I’m already a subscriber and I tweeted your current giveaway today. It’s the colors, isn’t it, that attract most folks to hanks or skeins of yarn first? Then, it’s the feel. But, you really don’t know how it’s going to work up until you start a swatch, that’s when you absolutely fall in or out of love with it. IMHO. Expression’s yarns have always delivered on all accounts, in my book.

I shared on facebook and tweeted! I also love rainbows, and rainbow yarn, and I love yarn because of all the amazing things that I can make from it! I would love to win!
step one and step two completed.
I subscribe and then I shared via facebook, my fave thing about yarn is petting it lol
Rainbows connect the world with love and harmony, rainbow yarn contains love as well. I love rainbows.
Forgot to mention that I have completed steps 1 & 2. And I love everything about yarn. The look, the feel, the versitility, how it makes me feel, and how it makes someone else feel when I gift them with something I made especially for them.
done! this would be awesome to brighten a winter day! It gets so dark and dreary.
Both are done. I love the way it knits up….so soft and pretty.
Step 1-done, Step 2-done. What can be done with yarn-so, so, many possibilities! Knitting, weaving, hoarding, “fondle-ing” 🙂 But, primarily the first two.
Pinned, tweeted, googled, and posted!!
Did both. Yarn is relaxing for me. I love to watch the different projects work up.
I love yarn it make some pretty things and I love to crochet and knit as it relaxes me and I love t see things being made. I can be creative and feel the softness in my hands xx
OKay – I’ve done steps one and two. My favourite thing about yarn – especially varigated yarn – is that it’s like opening a surprise package as you knit – You are never too sure about what it is going to look like!
Yes, I did steps 1 and 2. Rainbow yarn or any yarn I have two grandaughters 3yrs and 8mo. old. I have a window ornament in the shape of a hummingbird and in its wings are glass prisims. The 7yrs old was them all over my kitchen/dinning room and the floor and commented “Look Nana there are Rainbows in your house!” I would love to make them both sweaters that they could wear this winter to bring cheerful color during the drabness of winter!
Yarn is so great! My kids & grandkids request my creations often!
I love the gazillions of designs you can make with yarn. I will buy yarn and horde it until I find the perfect project……which is why I’m surrounded by yarn.
Entry done, and the best thing is you can never run out of things to do and make..
1 & 2 done!!! I love to watch this pile of yarn become a beautiful piece of art that I’ve poured my heart into. Most of the time while I’m crocheting or just recently trying to knit a project I try to picture who I would see wearing what I’ve made!!
I did steps 1 & 2. The best thing about yarn to me is the process and love soft yarn.
Completed both steps! What I love about yarn the most is that I can be so easily inspired by it! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside 😀 And don’t even get me started about how magical it is to start with a fresh skein and turn it into something beautiful!
Signed up for your newsletter and shared on FB & IG!
Thanks so much! What I like most about yarn? Hmmm… the yummy softness!
Yes, I did everything! I wanna win! My favorite thing about yarn is the soft feel of it. I love to visualize a new creation when I look at a skein or hank of yarn!
I have shared (or at least I think I have) with my craft friends. Who just cannot adore yarn? There is something there for every one and every project and new types are being designed all the time however, Chandie, yours sound and look divine.

I think I love yarn because the possibilities are endless
I did steps 1 and 2, I love the colors, textures and the things you can do with it
Did both. Love yarn for the colors it comes in.
I have done steps 1 and 2. I love the feel of yarn and to watch what variegated skeins become with their own design plan.
I love the tactile nature of yarn… when I make someone a knitted gift I know they feel the hug. So important – yarn transmits so many things… love, warmth, beauty and creative potential. Love it…
I subscribed and shared! I love everything about yarn! The colors, the textures, they way you can make anything you want out of it!
Did all the steps ^.^; I love yarn. Mostly knowing that I can take a skein of yarn and make something useful, and pretty, for myself and loved ones. So many pretty colors, so hard to choose!
I did steps 1 and 2. I love how yarn feels when you’re crocheting.
I luv the versatility of yarn, fibers & so forth. Everything you make with it is unique, one of a kind
I did both of the steps. I ;ove yarn because it is so versatile!
I did both:-) I hope I win!!!!:-)
I did both steps! I love yarn, it has so many possibilities!! I’m new to crocheting and the more I create the more I want to create, thank you for an opportunity to win this beautiful yarn!!
I subscribed and shared. What I love about yarn is all the amazing colors and the opportunity to create something unique.
I did steps 1 and 2. Yarn make me happy with its versatility. I can crochet or knit with it. I can also makes crafts such as the God’s Eyes ornaments we made years ago (I still do!) with Popsicle sticks or twigs. I can even amuse my cat with yarn. It can be used to tie things together or decorate gifts. Really, the possibilities are almost endless.
Done.. Beautiful yarn brings out the creative inner being.
I love to collect all sorts of yarns. I am obsessed with the colors. I buy, having no idea what I am going do with it. I am a novice knitter and love to crochet. I love being surrounded by beautiful things, yarn being at the top of my list.
I love all colors & types of yarn. I get so excited as my projects come together. I live in Southern Louisiana.
I did!! The thing I love about yarn is that u can turn one string of yarn into something amazingly beautiful with time and focus.

Done and done! I love the feel of good yarn between my fingers being looped into something useful and beautiful and recognizable. I can almost visualize a scarf crocheted with that beautiful rainbow yarn.
Shared liked and would love to win this, I would make something beautiful for my daughter who lives these colors.
Yes, I did steps 1-2 and I love yarn because I like to see what it will look like after it is made up. It makes such wonderful gifts as well as things for the family. Even my dog has a hand made blankie.
I’m in! Did it.
I did 1 and 2. I love looking for new yarn and the possibilities it holds. I just bought some white and green that looks like roving. My friend had some and made a blanket, ooohhh so soft.
I did steps 1 and 2. I love yarn because it makes me calm. When I have had a stressful day nothing relaxes me like playing with my yarn.
I did steps one and two. My favorite thing about yarn is the magic transformation that happens when it’s knitted into fabric. The awesome qualities come out and shine: color pooling on variegated yarn, the overall effect of a structured cable, texture, and the softness or lightness of a fabric. Fantastic to watch the yarn grow into a whole that’s greater than the parts.
I shared and etc. etc. your contest and my favorite thing about yarn is that it is SO FORGIVING. Unlike many real life situations, you can take your yarn, “unravel yesterday” and “shape into a new tomorrow” in any fashion you wish. 🙂
All steps done!
I love the texture and feel of yarn. Holding it in your hands is like a celebration that ends with the perfect project in mind. I love to crochet and too many possibilities come to mind.
Done, signed up, posted to facebook & now what do I love about yarn, the touch the feel, the warm & contented feeling when I embrace it.
Oh I love your yarn and hope I’m the lucky winner! I’ve completed the steps and am crossing my fingers!
Yay!! I did both steps 1 and 2 and I have only recently begun my love affair with yarn! It serves as the new extension and manifestation of my creativity and I can think of no better way to bond with my nine year-old!
The thing I love about yarn is the colors, textures and the possibility to make just about anything. It is versatile, you can go from making afghans to scarfs and hats to toys. You can make just about anything with it. If you can imagine it, you can most likely make it with yarn. Ok, maybe not everything. Kind of hard to make something like a car or house with it, LOL. But, you can decorate/accessorize all you want with it. Whatever your hearts desire! But I think the main thing I love about yarn is all the gorgeous colors out there!! Every color imaginable!! I JUST LOVE IT!!
I have shared on Facebook and will pinterest it. I love yarn because my mind starts getting ideas and it relaxes my whole body…
Angel hugs and happy stitches…
Done and done! My daughter loves rainbows esp. with black, this is perfect for her. My favorite thing about yarn? It’s primal, I think, it ties us to the past and points the way to the future. I also love that I can take a line and make a 3-dimensional thing out of it.
Pinned it!!
And I love the feeling of yarn running through my fingers while I work. Now back to crocheting for a friend’s gift!

Gorgeous yarn with which I’d love to create something special!
I love the potential in every skein of every color!
Hi Chandi. I completed step one and pinned to pinterest in Step 2. The main reason I love yarn is that I love the way it feels and the way a finished product looks.
I have completed 1 and 2. I love yarn. Especially your yarns!!! I am knitting up a cowl in the Rainbow Twist Wool right now. I would be honored to receive this rainbow yarn from you. November is my birthday month too!!
Crazy I know……but I love the way it feels squished up against the end of my nose!?

I love yarn because even when just sitting on a shelf, waiting to become a new jumper or scarf, it is decorative in its own right!
So pretty!
Entered! Did #1 and tweeted!!
I like the potential of yarn. I get to decide what it’s going to be !!
I would be tickled to get some of your yarn. I love the feel and texture of yarns and the amazing things that can be made.
Subscribed, shared and liked… My favorite thing about yarn is the potential that it holds – it is the potential to brighten a day – both for the knitter/crocheter and the receiver of the finished creation (who may be the same!). It is the potential for warming someone who needs it, either inside, outside, or both. It is the potential for granting someone the pleasure of the texture, in creating with it and using the created article… I love yarn!! Now, I just wish I could get my husband to understand this love of my collection… 😉
I did steps 1 & 2. My favorite thing about yarn is that it doesn’t judge.
Steps 1 & 2 done.
I love the colours and textures that yarn comes in. It’s amazing what you can knit or crochet with it (I threatened to make hubby a noose after the comment he made about why I liked yarn :))!
There are so many ways to enjoy yarn – knit or crochet with it. Wear it in any number of ways – scarf, mittens, socks, pullovers, cardigans, wraps & shawls, etc.!!!

did steps 1 and 2 love yarn for the beautiful colors and the feeling of yarn.
Did both steps. Gladly sharing. Would live to win because yarn has a way of comforting me during the holidays.
Hi Chandi,
Steps 1 and 2 Complete:
Thw reason I love yarn is because it helped me through a very dark time to discover yarn and my creativity….all the great things I can do with it. Like hats for preemies, mittins and scarfs for homeless ect. and gifts for friends and family instead of retail shops. You and your yarn are true inspiration!!!
Love ya,
Carrie
happy rainbow colors
Chandra…I did both steps. I want you to know how much I look forward to your emails. I love your adventures in yarn dyeing and hope to buy some after Christmas. I love the info you share about your upcoming wedding also.
Hugs,
Sharon
I did steps 1 and 2! I love yarn! So many possibilities arise in every skein…and that wonderful feeling of euphoria (the AHA moment!) when I can actually see what each skein and color way is meant to be…
I love yarn, i love watching turn from a ball of string to something amazing. I recently discovered hand spun and dyed yarn and it by far is the softest nicest yarn i have every worked with. Share your contest on pinrest cause some odd reason the facebook one would work. Your yarn looks amazing
I did both steps . I don’t know if color or fiber content is my favorite thing about yarn, but I love it so.
I’ve shared this contest on Facebook. My favorite think about yarn is how it satisfies most of the senses. The feel of it through your fingers as you’re working a piece, the smell of the lanolin that is left in certain wools, the sight of the colors of the wild and crazy dyes or soft and subtle colorways, and yes, the taste of the wool when you spit felt it together with the end of the last skein of yarn that you were using. Some almost taste “sheepy”. yuk. Yarn satisfies all of the senses and makes knitting a fully mindful experience.
Done and done 🙂 wonderful cheerful feel good yarn, fingers firmly crossed xx
I did both steps 1 & 2. I love to be able to take a ball of yarn and turn it into something that can be worn or used. It’s just amazing! It’s also such a relaxing hobby that I just adore! I also L O V E the creative colors you come up with!!!!
Would love to bring this lovly yarn to Norway. Just started on a cardigan in yake silk from your stock. Love it. And yea I have sheard.

I couldn’t do it from my phone ..
I LOVE YARN! The rainbow yarn is such an explosion
Of beautiful happy colors !!! Would LOVE to knit
Something gorgeous with it!! ;D
Steps 1 and 2 are done:) I own more yarn than clothes. I am in love with color in an almost unhealthy obsessive kind of way, so that is my main reason for loving yarn but also each skein has the potential to be anything, which is just a little bit of awesome:)
Done done and done! I really hope I get it this time. I’ve so wanted to try Yak Silk but it is way out of my price range. It would be wonderful to work with I imagine. But it might take me a while to stop petting it long enough to knit something!
I love the colors and would enjoy making something with this yarn.
Love to make warm, pretty things for my family and friends.
I’m already a subscriber, and have shared on twitter here: https://twitter.com/sammy7827/status/405376978930245632
I love too many things about yarn to list here (Or I’d be here for ages!), but a few things I love are the feel, the many colours (especially rainbows!) and the amazing things you can make with it! ^_^
I have done both steps.
I love the texture and color!
I did both requirements to enter November contest for free yarn. I really never know what I will make until I actually see the yarn. From what I can tell, this would make a fun pair of socks with a contrasting trim. Whatever it is it will be creative and fun, especially with this colorway. I usually have to audition the yarn by knitting a swatch.
I did it! I really hope that I win some of this beautiful yarn. Oh the things I could make with it
I was really hoping that one of my daughters would send me some nice Alpaca yarn for my birthday.. Alas it wasn’t so.. so all I can do is hope to win more wonderful yarn.. I can’t get enough of this yarn I want MORE!! Love Crocheting with it…
Completed requirements 1 & 2. Manually added it to FB, as I couldn’t get the link to work……I can knit better than get a computer to work the way I want it to.
Warms my heart twice. While I create something, and when I give my new creation to someone.
Would love to pay it forward with a rainbow!!
I love all the colours it comes in!
love to touch it…
I did steps 1 and 2. I adore yarn so much I think I hear it purr! 🙂
I completed the steps. I love beautiful yarn because I love to knit simple, relaxing patterns. If you start with wonderful, beautiful yarn even an easy pattern yields an amazing project!!!!!!
The thing I love best about yarn besides all the beautiful things I can make is how soft it is. It is fun to touch it and fondle it and get lost in the luxury. I hope I win this time!!
I did 1 and 2, i love the colour , texture and feel of good yarn
Steps one and two completed. Step three? I love yarn because it is soft and cuddly and gives me endless hours of enjoyment. Am never bored as long as I have yarn! The more colorful the better, so this yarn would fit right into my stash!
Done and done.
I did steps 1 and 2. shared to Facebook. I like yarn to knit beautiful things.
I love all the beautiful yarns on this site!
Entering the November drawing <3
I did both steps. I LOVE yarn!! It calls to me and I have a hard time walking by without picking some up every time I shop! I LOVE the rainbow colors and think I would make something for myself with it. (Very unusual as I usually give things away when people tell me that they like them- my exception is the several pairs of socks that I have made for myself!) I have made numerous hats for students that cannot afford them and also sweaters, hats, scarves, mittens, and socks for my grandchildren. Thank you for this opportunity!
I would love to make my little girl something extra special w/ this beautiful rainbow yarn. She has always loved rainbows. We recently moved from Florida where we would see many rainbows. We are now in SC, w/ my mother. maybe I could make my daughter and her grandmom matching rainbow scarfs…
Thank you, Chandi!
Katie~
hope you get to enter these entries…they are piling up!

I shared to my facebook page and subscribed (already) to your newsletter. I have ordered several (!!!) Skeins of yarn from you and have LOVED them all! Thx for offering this giveaway!
My favorite thing about yarn is how versatile it is.
Hoping today my lucky day
I have fibro and having yarn allows me to keep my hands moving. I make items for my friends for Christmas and items to sell at the farmers market during the summer with my small group from church. the money I earn allows me to go to Woman Of Faith Conferences and we decided to pay to get a well in a village in India. would love to win to make more items ~~ thanks
Why do I love yarn? Because I love all the colors it comes in, I love all the different fibers, and I love all the different weights of yarn. But most of all what I love about yarn is creating something with it that so that no one else has something exactly the same!
Forgot to say that I did both steps 1&2 also!
So many clothes these days are such a drab affair. It’s nice to spruce up a wardrobe with splashes of vibrant colors like the ones you create!

Did did! LOVE yarn, there are just far too many things that I love about it to just pick one :o). I suppose the pure versatility, I make everything from historical costuming accessories to doll gear, and of course everything inbetween :o). I have two teenage daughters, just think of the fabulous things I can do with rainbow yarn, particularly for the 14 year old that is obsessed with My Little Ponies (yeah, not as a child, but now as an adult, lol) and all their colorful world!
Done!
I have an obsession with yarn I knit and crochet both and it still amazes me that you can take a ball of yarn and make something beautiful, charming or cute out of it. You would think after 36 years I would be used to it….
Fingers crossed!!
I love so many things about yarn, but my favorite thing about yarn is the COLOR. I can knit with boring colored yarn, but I don’t enjoy it like I do with lots of color!!
P.S. I shared the contest on facebook, and I’ve been a subscriber for a long time!
Done. What’s not to love about yarn?
I just love how I can make anything out of yarn and that the realm is endless. I have made some things that I thought were not possible and they definitely are! I have completed both steps one and two! Thanks for this opportunity to win such beautiful yarn!
Blessings,
Every skein of yarn is like having a treasure hunt in your stash or store. I get so excited imagining all the beautiful things it can become and how that will affect the peeps who receive it.
I love the way it feels in my fingers as I work with it an fashion it into something completely different. It is something in this crazy world that can bring beauty and calm.
My favorite thing about yarn is – do I have to pick just one? Okay – if I must. So, my favorite thing about yarn is taking this gorgeous line of fiber and watching it become. With artisan yarn, the project is a collaborative effort between two artists who have never met, spinner/dyer/yarn creator and the crocheter (or knitter or weaver). How cool is that? How often do you get to do art with someone else in this life? How often do you get to do art with someone you’ve never met and have it turn out beautifully, as though you had planned the whole project together? I don’t see yarn as a mere material. The yarn is an art piece in and of itself, and to be allowed to interact with someone else’s art and create something new? It’s humbling and exciting and so very rewarding.
Also, I did both steps. I made the facebook post public, in case you wanted to check it out. https://www.facebook.com/orwigmalatt1
I did it. I love yarn for many reasons but top on my list. Hand made ideas make everyone happy.
Steps 1 and 2 are done, but there’s no way to come up with a single favorite thing about yarn. From preparing the fleece to finishing a project it is all enjoyable.

I do love yarn so much. I buy a lotttt of yarn just because i fall in love with it’s color and texture. I used some of the yarn for knitting and/or crocheting, but some of them are collection. I often just touch them and admire their beautiful colours and how they felt on my hand.
A hank of beautiful yarn can make me feel passionate to imagine a product that i’d like to knit/crochet and then anxious to see it finish. I love how a yarn change color gradually while i am knitting and i always waiting how this beautiful color appear on my knitting.
