Oh, good you’re here. I was hoping to catch you. I have NEWS! New items and sales and whatnot.
~WHAT’S NEW?~
In the midst of a wee bit of shopping yesterday, I did manage to get my new wool sock yarn colorway listed on the site! It’s called AUTUMN RIVER and I think it’s just perfect.
I am currently thinking of what to make with it. I think it would look way cool to hold the yarn double and see how the colors merge and create a muted, heathered effect. Hmmm….
I have a confession to make. I’ve been keeping a secret from you. Yup. I have… (drum roll… ) a lot of delicious SILK for you! Gah! I said it!
It’s gorgeous. It’s soft. It’s sheeny. It’s “silky.” (Of course). It’s creamy. It’s vivid. Silk takes dyes SO well, and combined with the light-reflecting properties… OH! It’s just like heaven in your hands!
Here is a sneak peek, but it’s not available yet. You’ll have to stay tuned and check back! I really REALLY want to get it listed next week, but I can’t make any promises. I will say I will get it up pretty darn soon. 😀
I do have many other new yarn bases on order and will continue to get them listed as they come in. I did order in more cashmere/silk as what I had sold out in 24 hours.
I admit. I’ve had a few freak-out moments where I didn’t know how I was going to keep up. You guys are amazing and I appreciate all of your orders more than I can say. I admit to staring at my dwindling supply of yarn and thinking, how can I possibly get more ordered in fast enough??? I know. Bad problem to have, huh?
I think I feel as if my lil biz has been in its infancy stage; even though I’ve been dabbling in it for well over a year now and have really been giving it a good go the last few months.
The time has come that I no longer think of it as an infant (it’s so weird I keep using child metaphors in my posts bc I don’t have children… or maybe that’s why. Hmmm) and think of it as more of a rapidly growing companion that here’s for the long-haul.
I feel like I keep saying that I have new products coming, and then I get them listed, they sell out and I’m back to bare bones. The facts are clear. I MUST ORDER MORE STUFF. WOOOO!!!
I’ve been told I over-exaggerate. But when I say I feel like I’m in heaven getting to order all these yarns and rovings and fibers galore… I mean it. 😀

MY WIP
My current work-in-progress, the INDIAN CORN Hitchchiker shawlette is nearly finished. I hope to have it completed today. I do so love these long weekends, although I’m itching to get back to work on Monday, cuz I LOVE WHAT I DO! (I can’t wait to do a photo shoot and show you this shawl!)
Again, I cannot stress enough how much I LOVE this pattern. Love it. It’s so mindless. You can work a row, lay it down and pick it back up later without a hitch. HA! Pun totally intended.
So, if for example, your boyfriend is an amazing photographer (who perhaps gets REALLY into what he’s doing and likes for you to stand for hours on end in awkward (but pretty) poses while he snaps your picture and tells you to twist your head this way and that way and close your mouth and look here)… then you can easily work a row in between shoots, so you feel like you’re accomplishing something too. 😀 Love you, boo!! *wink *wink. I really do have such a talented, kind-hearted, thoughtful man who makes it so easy to be happy. What a blessed gal I am!
Just for funsies, you can head over to his blog and see his wonderful work. He’s all into fashion photography… I keep trying to convince him that I want to do some epic knitwear photo shoots, like Vogue Knitting (wooo! they are amazing!) so time will tell!!
Just for kicks, here are some of his photos he’s taken of me (and yes, they are photoshopped; I can only WISH I looked that amazing in real life!): You can click on them to see them bigger.
And my boo:
Love it!
Any hoos. Have a wonderful weekend. I’ll be posing and knitting and crocheting and chillin’.
Stay tuned and know you’re LOVED!!
XOXOXO

I love how your inspirations are translated into your colourways. Your yarns are so beautiful. As soon as I deal with all the projects and yarn I have stashed away, I’m definitely going to choose yours for my next project.
Thank you.
I’m just delighted to learn of the (well-deserved) success of your new business. Your creativity and positive outlook has earned you a devoted following, so stock up on those lovely fibre choices, little one. We’ll be here to keep your enterprise flourishing.
Your partner is a truly gifted photographer. I particularly love his “Novacaine” image- the dropped head of the seated man echoing the lines of the surrounding trees. It’s a visual poem.
And now, to translate your new Autumn River colourway into a shawl of my own design. I’ll post on Ravelry once I’ve finalized my project notes.
Best wishes to you and your extended family for all the blessings of this Thanksgiving weekend.

Is the fiber art twist yarn wool. I see so many petty color an me wool or any animal fiber yarns get along. Thank You.
