Spinning fiber into yarn is one of the most relaxing, meditative, almost hypnotic activities I know of.
I wanted the names of my roving to suggest that joyful, peaceful, harmonious state that is achieved during the
spinning process. If you have never tried spinning, you’re in for a treat. It becomes quite addicting once you’ve
practiced a few times. If you’re already a spinner, you know exactly what I’m talking about!
