I found this glorious book, full of crochet motif patterns, at my local Barnes and Nobles and couldn’t resist buying it.
1. The cover is GORGEOUS! I think that sold me!
2. The instructions are shown in written form and visual/chart form.
3. It is loaded with full-color pictures and inspirational ideas of how to use your motifs!!
I created one of the patterns, using some shimmery light fingering weight yarn that I’m testing out (to see if I want to sell it… I think I will!!) and some of my sock yarn, currently in my etsy store, but custom-dyed for these motifs.
I put it on Instagram (awesome app, if you have an iPhone!!)and Facebook and had several people mention it looks like sunflowers!! I hadn’t even thought of that, but it’s true! Here is a picture of a sunflower with a bee I took and edited and yes, indeedy, they match pretty closely!!
So there ya have it. If you are looking for great crochet motif patterns, check out this book:
