Love muffins!! Thank you for joining me today in my fun little tutorial on how to marl yarns. You can use this technique in a variety of knitted or crocheted patterns. Use different yarn weights – hold 2, 3 or 4 strands together. Go nuts.
Today I’m demonstrating it in our Little Lola knitted cowl pattern. Download the written version there if you like!
This simple cowl is a great way to start knitting in the round! It is easily adjustable for length and width, so you can make it your own with minimal fuss. Marl it up with your choice of colors and make your friends jealous with your new knitting skills!

Nice cowl
I really like the marl technique. I am going to use it with my left over skeins of yarn to create a cool color effect.
Once again an amazing piece of art from an amazing artist. Thank you for making things simple and straight forward.
