Those jewel tones are very pretty. Such a gorgeous selection Chandi 🙂 I’d love to make a jumper with those colours! For next year I plan on making a jumper, not sure yet whether I’ll knit or crochet but I am sure I’ll find the perfect pattern for me… For now there’s holiday presents to finish 😀
Just found your channel.Your yarn and designs are beautiful. I am a avid crocheted of 50 years .I had so many vintage patterns that I had collected since I was 16 and all but 1 was lost during a move overv5 years ago so I am searching for inspiring patterns that are lovely and have character.Shawls .,Dresses, skirts, tops for my great 6 y/o great grandaughter .Sweaters, cardigans ,gloves, hats .There are so many possibilities .I also love Beautiful blankets .Those are my goals for this future year .I want to make something for each of my family members 2 children,10grands andc2 great grands plus the significant others I’m slow now and my eyesight is very poor. so I have to get started as soon as I am done with my current wip. I would love to knit another sweater, but I need to finish the dreaded second sock first!
Hi, sending my love from Kenya. My crafting plans for new year and to complete as many projects as possible on my to do list….it grows by the day 😅
Otherwise, happy holidays.
My crafting plans are to try and make a dent in my yarn stash with gifts and such for others before buying more yarn. And maybe teaching my toddler how to crochet, if she’s interested or decides to sit still long enough to learn. Thanks for your beautiful yarn and patterns! Happy New Year!
I am looking forward to knitting my first sweater. I like making socks. I really have a lot of potential makes in mind including sweaters, scarves, shawls, hats, tanks, and more.
I don’t have projects lined up, but I will probably knit a few things for my granddaughter.
Hi Chandi!! My hopes for next year is knit more items! I’m a crocheter and I taught myself how to knit but need to practice it more!! Looking forward to a new year, new yarn and new projects!! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
I plan on hopefully finishing projects and making holiday gifts for family.
I have so many crochet plans. A couple of cocoons, light weight shirts, couple of baby blankets and stuffed animals.
I want to make an afghan or blanket for myself…..I’ve never made one for me 😊
I’m a crocheter, but I plan to practice more knitting next year to improve my speed and skill in that. I also want to try some color work in both! Time to advance my skill level!
This giveaway is GORGEOUS! I recently made some new knitting and crocheting friends and would gladly share this with them if I win.
For 2022, my goal is to complete my many, MANY WIPs that are taking over my house. I have so many things I want to make and really need to clear out some of the partials.
Thank you for your generosity, as always, Chandi!
My crafting plans for the upcoming are to do some stash busting and work on counted cross stitch sampler designed by a friend
What an absolutely gorgeous giveaway! For crafting in 2022, I plan to finish an afghan and cardigan. Then I will start on shawls and socks. Have a glorious day!
Hi! I am new to crocheting and my New Years plans are to make a couple shawls with the cool yarn I’ve bought from you these last months 🙂 who knew I would have a yarn stash so quickly !!
These are so beautiful! You always sue the loveliest colors! My plan for next year is a lace shawl, a sweater and a million socks. But the plan will go awry for sure!
I am planning a crocheted blanket for my dad and a knitted tweed sweater for my husband. I’m thinking some headbands for my daughter too!
Omg, those colours are just heavenly! 🥰🥰
My WIP basket has grown to two (!!), And I’m still working on a shrug/cardigan from 2+ years ago, so that’s my highest priority for the coming year.
I plan to make a lot of garments to wear. Especially with this yarn!
Each picture looks like a sumptuous cake! Your colours are so rich & lush.
As always, I have too many plans, and too little time! Since I’ve picked up sewing again this year, I would love to make a full me-made outfit in 2022. And some more sweaters. And socks. And a cardigan…

I really wish that I had infinite money because your yarn is just so incredibly beautiful. My plans for the new year are to hopefully sell some of my hand made work. I really enjoy knitting and I would love to be able to do something that I enjoy and get some extra income. If I could I’d buy all the yarn all the time haha. Maybe this month will be my lucky month.
I want to learn how to knit so I’ll be checking out your videos and others on youtube. Other than that I’ll be crocheting some of the patterns I got from your site that I fell in love with and I plan to start beading jewelry again.
Plans for the new year….
Take things one day at a time, and do what I can. My hands don’t work as well as they used to, so I don’t really plan on projects anymore, just do what I can, when I can.
Absolutely beautiful!
Hello Chandi,
I’m looking forward to finally take the time to make something special for myself. I love to crochet and have made many things for family and loved ones. This year I’m putting aside some me time for something lovely for me 💗
Expression Fibers has the best yarn! This would be wonderful! So beautiful!
Slowly going through the bags of unfinished projects, to see what’s worth finishing. But always up for the next shiny pattern that bounces across my feed!
Gracias por tan bonitos proyectos eres mi expiración Dios te bendiga
Hi Chandi,
I always wanted to learn to knit and/or crochet and decided that was my top priority once I retired in 2014. I learned at a local yarn shop that had just opened near me and was immediately “hooked.” The last two years I have been knitting socks like crazy but now I’m moving on to more complex sweaters so I want to expand my skills in 2022 to an intermediate/advanced level.
I love sweaters, so if I won, I would make a sweater set of A cardigan and pullover and then share the other skeins with my yarn friends!
These yarns are absolutely gorgeous! Trying to get my motivation back! It’s been a very challenging year
Chandi!!! You are an inspiration!!! Thank you!!!
Wow, those colors are amazing! My plans for next year is to finally knit a sweater. Don’t know why it’s such a terrifying thing for me to take on but I’m super scared that I either will be too unhappy with the result to actually use it, or that I’m never gonna finnish it and it just becomes a hidden pile of anxiety.
Also, I’m planning to learn to make my own fibers from different plants and experiment a bit with natural dyes.
I plan on completing wips that have been neglected this year now that we’re settled in the new house. But first a few ornaments for the tree and a few friends trees 🎄😊
Gorgeous colours. My crafting for the new year is weaving rainbows on my Rigid Heddle Loom
Hello! Happy New year to everyone! My plans for knitting are to knit 1 or 2 lace shawl and a Chanel style cardigan. And I’d like to crochet a purse.
This year I’ll be doing crochet for my 2nd grandchild due in May, also a few things for my 1st grandchild who is 15 months old and counting.
I’m going to try to knit a couple of sweaters and lots of socks next year!
My goals for the new year are to imp I’ve my knitting skills by tackling some harder projects. I know I can only improve by stretching myself. So, look out tougher projects. Here I come!
2021 I learned to make socks. 2022 its going to be learning to make sweaters. I actually just ordered my first sq of yarn ever. So looking forward to that.
I plan to continue to finish all my unfinished projects that I planned out this year. I’m currently making a lovely afghan using bernat cover story yarn in Oxford blue while waiting for a yarn delivery so I can finish a shawl. Then it’s onto crocheting socks and handsewing another quilt top while teaching a friend to do English paper piecing.(the way I do my hand quilting) I really don’t plan alot when it comes to crafting or I’d never get anything done.
Next year I am planning on making a shirt, large shawl from EFA, and a crop top. I would also like to finish a current WIP blanket. I would love to have time to make a sweater, mittens, and hat combo as well but that’s very dependent on the other projects.
In the new year I’d like to do a lot more weaving and try some new techniques in knitting, like steeking.
Lots of amigurumi making, finishing a blanket, and learning to knit
Hi, the colours are amazing! Love your videos as well 😊. With the live chats, I have the feeling that I know you. You are so inspiring!
I’m planning to finish a sweater I started several months ago.
I love starting new projects, but hate the last finishing details. I am trying to go through my almost finished projects trying to complete them. I think it’s extremely generous of you to do these yarn giveaways. It’s a great way to share your yarn with people who haven’t already worked with your lovely yarn
Hoping just to do more knitting and crocheting.
Oh my gosh that is a lot of all my favorite colors 😍 ❤ 💖 I just can’t wait to get more of your yarn and watch videos for more beautiful shawls this year!!!!
Oh! Be still my heart. Scrumptious, delicious, yarn. Being on a fixed income I can’t indulge very often. But will be knitting a few sweaters for my daughters in the coming year.
Wonderful give away for some lucky person.
Looking forward to more Jane Austin!
I want to crack down on my yarn stash. Go through what I have, focus on making things out of it, and master sock knitting!
I want to knit an over sieze sweater.
I’m hoping to make as many projects as I can throughout the year so by December, I can do a pop up shop and sell what I can. I’ve never been more excited to do something that puts me out of my comfort zone
I want to do a beaded lace shawl and some brioche in 2022
Plans for the coming year? To knit when I cannot spin. To crochet when I cannot knit. To tat when I’m bored with everything else.
Thanks for your great giveaways Chandi! I sure enjoy your yarn, patterns and videos. Currently I’m working on corandoli for my daughter; it’s fun and gorgeous. Hope you & Tim have a wonderful holiday season & Merry Christmas!
I’m planning on making a couple sweaters and a cardigan for starters!
Hi there Beautiful, I have been with you for about 2-3 years now and I just came across your amazing giveaway. Thank you so much Chandi ❤️
My crafting plans are numerous! It will take me all year to get through them and I’m sure the list will be adjusted as I find new patterns and yarn. I have 20 grandchildren and great grands to make for. I divide my rafts between knitting, crochet and sewing to get them all made.
My new year plans are to use up my stash (same as this year but long way to go!!), making a jumper for my husband, one for myself, lots of shawls, hats and scarves for charity.
These colors are to die for!
Hi , I’m your big fan from India,. I love all your vedios ,I love the yarns. …unfortunately I couldn’t get your yarn here …if 🤞i win I’ll be on cloud ☁️ nine 😊😊😊.and If I won’t win i will still see all your vedios because I love them…So thanks for being an inspiration 🙏
Bye take care
Merry Christmas. In advance.
Lots of love ❤
Shamnoor .
Merry Christmas! 🧶
i think i am gonna make sone keychains and knit few shawls..thank you for giveaway🎁✨
Pick me! Pick me! I’ve discovered a love for knitting socks as my quick and portable project while also having a larger project going! I’ve currently got 2 pairs of socks on needles and I’m also working on the World Tour pattern!
My crafting plans for the year are just to crochet as much as possible! I’m really enjoying learning new skills and techniques all while making beautiful things. 🥰
I want to make a sweater for myself and get more comfortable with fair isle.
I’m planning on crocheting some shawls and sweaters for myself and my loved ones!
I have a beautiful cardigan that I’d like to finish in January, but we’ll see how that goes. I also really need to work on my son’s double knit scarf. We’ll see what else I manage to cast on when we get there!
My husband’s “current mood” scarf.
I’m trying to finish my sons 2020 temperature blanket… then do one for my two older kids. And work my way through my expanded my yarn stash I bought for shawls & wraps.
Happy holiday! I plan to knit my first top down sweater. I am so excited!
My crafting plans for 2022 are the same as 2021. Knit, knit, and knit some more. And if the pandemic ever eases, get back into blowing glass.
My crafting plans for 2022 are to use up my stash. I have so much beautiful yarn that is just sitting in totes, and what am I waiting for? Time to dive in and knit beautiful things!
The first project of the New Year is going to be a Ciottolo for my Dad! Recieved the yarns this month and I’m so excited to start!!! Too bad I have about six projects ahead of this that have to be finished for Christmas.
PS. Not sure what was Oopsy about the Raven I bought, but it’s stunning next to Black Cat Dewy DK and New York at Night Twisted Tweed 😁
Congratulations Julie. Love the colors as usual. My crafting goals this year is to make the Storyteller, learn how to do color work knitting and learn how to weave.
I hope to make a boyfriend sweater after the New Year in midnight blue then a top in purple for myself ( the crochet along pattern) but I will still have wool for three more pairs of socks and two scarfs in my stash❣️😁
Good morning Chandi. I’m so excited about this months yarn giveaway! It ooks so beautiful!
I’ve just picked up my knitting needles and am trying my hand at fingerless gloves, finally a project for myself. Yahoo!
Next on my list are hats for my twin, soon to be two, grandbabies.
Beyond that I can not think. Hahahaha!!!
Enjoy your day and happy knitting!
I just made Thanksgiving quilts for my sisters, and want to make a matching one for myself. I’ll be knitting a baby set for a wee girl, and I’m attempting to knit myself some gloves, which is out of my comfort zone! If I’m successful I’ll knit gloves for those I love. Oh and I have finished a king sized quilt that I need to hand quilt. That should keep my busy!
Dear Chandi,
First thank you for always being so generous with your giveaways.
After Covid, in 2020 recovering from a very badly broken wrist as well in 2020 (took me like 10 mos to recover), retiring and moving in 2021, after living in one area for 50 years, fixing and settling into the new house and adapting to the new area; so…
For the new year, I would like to focus on Sweaters and projects for myself. Sometimes it feels selfish but I know it will be enjoyable and no deadlines for gifts. I just finished a baby blanket for a high school friend who just became a grandmother, 2 Sweaters for my grandsons, hotpads, washcloths, and bookmarks for several loved ones fo the holidays.
Thank you for always having an encouraging word for us all.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and blessed New Year!
God bless,
Laura
Merry Christmas, Laura! I’m wishing you a fabulous 2022. ☺️
I always start the year with promises to finish oodles of knitting and quilting UFOs. So, why spoil a good tradition? Let’s see how many I accomplish!
I’ll be making these cute little coaster rugs on the loom. I like to call them mug rugs. Sold some at the feast of the hunters moon this year! All for the weavers guild I’m a part of.
Most of my 50 years of yarn crafting has been with yarns at a gauge of 3-4 stitches per inch. I’ve only in the last few years done much with lighter weight yarns – though I have so many in my stash. Going forward, I hope to become more comfortable with my big thick guy fingers and tiny needles, and to stop feeling like Dory in Finding Nemo, “Just Keep Knitting. Juts Keep Knitting.”
I love it!
For the new year I am intending to continue with knitting one skein shawls.
I have a lot of crafting plans! My to do list will probably take 3+ years to complete if I don’t find new patterns to add to my stash 😂 I knit, crochet and sew so I’m always working with some kind of fiber
I plan to finish the sweater I started for myself. I also make something for my grandchildren for every holiday so first up is small dinosaurs for my grandson who will be 3 in February.
Hi!
I wanted to do your latest shawl. But we don’t have that kind of yarn in Sweden. So… I want to win!!!:)
🤗
I’ll still be crocheting, but I’m going to try making beaded bracelets and necklaces this year 🙂
I want to get aaaalll my wips off my needles!
I’m not very self-confident with my knitting and although I have been knitting since college..nearly a decade now; I don’t have anything to show for it.
This was a very hard year for me.
I was worked at a healthcare facility and was under the most amount of stress I have ever experienced in my professional life, I was having panic attacks almost daily.
Then I, unfortunately, caught COVID and have had a rough time recovering, then I had to put my old man dog asleep after 13 years of loving.
I’ve spent the last part of this year getting back in touch with myself and that includes my knitting.
My crafting goals this next year are to take things slowly.. revel in the softness of the yarn, listen to the knitting needles click together…to feel each part of the process open and honestly…and have lovely handmade items to show for it!
In short…it’s to heal again and to bring my knitting with me.
I am sending you love, Sarah. 💙
Hi Chandi, I wanted to say thank you for providing these wonderful giveaways. I have a few top down sweaters and I plan on doing a double sided Harry Potter scarf for my daughter this upcoming year. Looking forward to your yarn clubs this year.
My crafting plans for the new year are to try to find more time to crochet. Maybe get into some knitting again. I’d love to make my daughter some more items and also find some kitty toys for our new kittens.
I recently began having a lot of pain in my hands, primarily in my thumbs, so my immediate plans are finding out what the heck is going on, fixing it, and getting back to my needles and hooks. I have a great need to make string pretty.
Wishing you well, Barbara!
OMGyour yarn is so georgeous. I am using some in my shawlography. I hope to knit docks, sweaters and shawls. I think I am a shawl person. Lol
Learning the tubular cast on and all the hats and hopefully a sweater! These colors are beautiful!!
After crocheting the year away, making many many blankets, scarves, hats, sweaters and cardigans for my 3 children, in the next year I will be making some wearable luxuries for myself. Learning to knit will be my new years resolution.
In the new year, I’m hoping to finish a blanket pattern I’ve been working on through the last year as a side project. I would also love to try sock knitting, which I haven’t done yet.
So beautiful.
Good afternoon! My crafting plans for the new year are to put together my crafting space and finish the journey kit I purchased from you. A series of losses in our family put me in a completely frozen state for 2021 since Easter. I feel like I am getting back to me now.
I’m glad you are able to get back to you. Sending you love and light. 😍
Hi Chandi & Pam! And Tim!
Beautiful colors! I plan to spend Tuesday at noon with you and improve my knitting speed so I can make all the wonderful patterns with your lovely yarn!
Crafting plans this coming year include finishing up a quarantine afghan, making lots of fingerless mitts, and perhaps a sweater for myself.
I have crocheted items for everyone I know, so now I’m doing it for those I don’t. I decided, in the New Year, I would make hats and scarves for the homeless shelter in my town. They could use a little comfort in these times too. Thank you for sharing such beauty as well. These colors are amazing!
I plan on mastering knitting socks in the new year!
2022 is going to be the year of socks, lots and lots of socks. I am also going to be making myself a quilt. Can’t wait to see all of beautiful yarn That EFA comes up with in the new year!!!
I’m planning to learn how to knit socks!! 😊
My plans for the new year,,, to keep on knitting 😁
Actually I’ve only been knitting for a couple of year’s
And would like to try and knit a shawl. Been knitting socks and hats. Time to do something different.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I have a few knitting projects from your patterns I plan on starting in the new year. Right now I’m working on “Find your Path” and “Love and Lace”. I love your blog and patterns Chandi!
I am finally enrolled to be a crochet pattern tester for one of my favorite creators in 2022.
For the coming crafting year everyone will have to pay, except for Christmas gifts 🙂
I absolutely love your gorgeous yarns!! I love this time of year, being with family and friends and knitting like crazy to keep warm!! I hope I win, it would be the best birthday gift!! Keep being awesome!
Congrats Julie! (So envious!)
In the new year, I’d like to try brioche or more complicated stranded knitting (like Saltwater mitts). Love your patterns and yarns, Chandi!
Hi Chandi! HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you, Tim and your team!
For the coming year, my crafting plans are only three things.
1- I want to do more knitting projects instead of crochet. I feel I can tackle a small to medium size knit project now. Thanks to you and Marly Bird my knitting skills have improved a little. I’m still slow but I can do it.
2- Anything that I knit or crochet must be completed. I still have projects that I have started and never completed them (shame on me). I will be either, totally frogging them or completing them, and
3- I am determined to learn how to knit socks. Wish me luck with that plan😂
I pray that you all have a blessed holiday and that your life continues to be blessed so that you can continue to bless all of us with your presence and your knowledge. Keep sharing with us. Much love, peace and blessings to you all🙏🏾💜
Thanks, Deirdre! I love all of your plans! I’m so excited to see what you accomplish!
Your yarn looks lovely and I can’t wait to try some out! I love to knit and am working on a sweater and a pretty little cotton top for the New Year. Thoughts of some of your shawls spring to mind as well!
Hi! I plan to make a quartz pullover by Two of Wands.
My 2022 crafting goal is to stitch together all the squares I knitted in 2020 to finish my Covid-year blanket!
Hi Chandi I’m not much of a crafter I do want to learn how to knit and start crocheting bigger projects especially ones from your channel . The projects you create are beautiful. Great giveaway
My new year plans include a few shawls. And teaching myself to knit.
Finishing up my Duga shawl. Loved that knit and the gorgeous yarns. Still have lots left to do something smaller with them. Thank you for your beautiful patterns. You always brighten my day.
So pretty! In the new year: more crochet sweaters and mosaic crochet items (runners and maybe another bedspread)
Thank you so much Chandi for your generous gorgeous yarn give aways!!! So much incredibly luxurious yarn to work with!!! My creative plans for 2022 are to learn how to knit and get comfortable making sweaters, hoodies, vests, and tops… I’ve mostly been an afghan, blanket, scarf, hat and washcloth person. I want to expand my horizons and talents… Chandi what are your goals and creative plans?
I want to knit and crochet all of the things! I haven’t narrowed it down yet. LOL!
Next year I really want to try making my first adult sized sweater! I’m a crocheter 🙂
The colors you do ate so beautiful. I wish I had the money to buy them all.
Are so beautiful.
Thank you for a great giveaway opportunity.y knitting. Plans for 2022 begin with finishing a few WIPs before I start new things. Lat least that’s what I’m telling myself at the moment. ☺️
Or maybe I should brush up on proofreading before hitting Submit 😆
My crafting plans for 2022 will be first to finish those half completed yarn projects that have been gathering dust for too long, before engaging in some major stash-busting.
These are glorious colors! I was unable to get any of your yarn on Black Friday due to it being wiped out almost totally. I sure would love to win your bundle for Dec. My sister lost her husband this past Aug. and I want to make her a beautiful shawl with your gorgeous yarn. Thanks for the chance.
💜
Your yarns are a confection of colors, softness and sheen that makes me want to reach into the phone and touch them. The simplest patterns just come to life with them. You are definitely in the right business and you spread joy with how you seem to approach life. May your holidays be amazing!
I need to finish some WIPs before casting on anything new
Hi Chandi!!! My name is Karen Greene but most people call me “Kay”….a nickname I got as a child. I just LOVE your yarn! It always looks so soft and “drapey” , if that is a word…lol! I would so love to make a shawl with it. In looking at all the yarn your site has to offer, it is just so difficult to pick out which I would like to have. I lean more to the fingering weight, though. I fell in love with your Red Velvet Shawl immediately after watching your video……it is just so lovely. I plan to crochet it this coming year.
I sincerely hope that I am chosen as the winner….thank you for the opportunity to enter this give-a-way!!!
My favorite projects are shawls. Right now I am working on a shawl using the December Yarn club. My goals for the new year are the Nautile among many others. I am frogging the Duha after only needing a section and a half to finish. I will redo it. I just didn’t like the color schematic I had going, and need to shift them around.
Yarn looks beautiful! My plans for the bew year are to work on a cross stitch, quilt a table runner, finish crocheting a shawl that I am a third of the way through and of course knit! Always knitting!❤
I plan to knit my first sweater! I have been crocheting for over 50 years, but have just begun knitting during the pandemic. I am very excited to begin the sweater after the new year.
I have blankets to make in the new year!
When I’m done with my Christmas gift knitting (lots of sock requests from the adult kids), I plan to knit something indulgently fun that’s not on double points or has a heel :-).
I want to stash down next year….hopefully.
I have 2 crochet commitments coming up. First to find my mojo again. In Oct/20 I was making a Pumpkin Pouch/Sack for the upcoming birth of my granddaughter. I thought it would be a perfect photo prop for a newborn! Well I flunked. It was a simple rectangle…..SC, and I kept increasing and decreasing stitches and I was embarrassed and disheartened. What the heck went wrong. I threw it all in a bag and haven’t picked up a hook since. Secondly, I’ve had a credit on my account and want so terribly to own some lovely yarn ……. but every time I go to order, it’s all sold out…..so I have to better at that!
In the new year I hope to finish projects I have started, like a T-shirt quilt, a photo album, and of course some knitting projects!
Chandi, I look forward to your emails every day. You are as aweome as you claim we are.
I’m planning on opening my crochet/knit business and would absolutely love to use this yarn to create a beautiful dress or/and cardigan!
I am hoping to start a mermaid tail for my granddaughter’s doll and finish a couple of sweaters for myself. Chandi, your yarn is going to make that mermaid tail magical!
I want to finally get back to learning spinning – while also getting a whole bunch of patterns released! Guess I’ll be busy!
Right now I’m just knitting shawls. That makes me happy and I love seeing the finished products
My plans for this upcoming year: My older two children are married and are expecting their first babies (my first grandbabies) within a month of each other. I plan on crocheting lots of blankets, beanies, and nursing shawls for my 2 soon to be grandsons!!! Who ever knew turning 50 could be so beautiful!
I’m doing a few treats for friends of ours that lost their farm in the floods.. xo
LOVE those colors!!
I’m “planning” on finishing some of my many WIPS, but all the pretty yarns & gorgeous patterns makes it hard!!!
I want to slow down and enjoy the process of knitting then gift the piece. I usually run through a project just to call it done.
I plan on getting a new set of needles and knitting squares for a warm blanket.
U know l used to crochet only..but u made me love knitting too..my plan is to make maybe all what I have seen on your channel..They are really high style in design and color.. I won’t wait.. I’ll start now..
Great thanks for the marvellous channel.
God bless you Chanti 💕
I would like to try a delicate rectangular shawl and a sweater with dk yarn.
Chandi, you and your site are such inspirations to me and I’m so glad to have found you. This year I plan to be home full time and focus more time on my knitting and learn and explore so much! You and your yarn and patterns will definitely be a big part of my year. 🙂
I am making a blanket for my father-in-law for Christmas. After that, I have a list of blankets for other family members, shawls, and scarves to get through to making. I plan on trying to make my first tank as well.
In the new year my ambition is to paint more, write more often, and knit and crochet projects I’ve never done before. Oh! And a dash of sewing on the side.
My crafting plans are pretty simple. I want to learn how to embroider more than the 1 stitch I know and I would also like to learn how to sew. Something simple like an apron would be fabulous. Thank you for supplying such gorgeous yarns. I love to look at them and think of what project my mom would love to do with them.
I want knit and crochet for me this year. Usually I gift all I make. But it’s me year in 2022. Hmmm well mostly me, hehe hehe. I will still gift some. Giving feels so good, specially when you see friends and family wear items so proudly just warms my heart.
Heia!
Crafting plans for 2022? Oh, well…. I am embroidering and sewing a national costume for my daughter. It is painstakingly precise work and drives me a little crazy, so I need a knitting project running paralel with this to relax and unwind. I’m guessing I’ll be knitting socks or shawls to give to my family next xmas.
I hope you have a peaceful and giving December!
Best regards, Birgit in Målselv, Northern Norway.
💕
My crafting plans are to keep knitting for charity & maybe try knitting cables & brioche!
Love it!
Wow, my crafting plans for the new year are big. Huge. I am knitting for me next year. No commissions or gifts for others unless doing so makes me happy. I will be developing an intermediate knitting class that I’m teaching in January, so I’m looking at designing my first fingerless glove pattern. I am also going to be digging into research on medieval knitting, specifically from the Tudor era. Then I’m going to make something medieval. For me. I’m also going to be doing more blackwork embroidery
That all is amazing!
Thank you for all the wonderful instructional you tube videos. I have only been watching…hoping to start a simple project initially.
lovely colors
As I’m knitting 5 jumpers and a pair of socks as Christmas presents, the first part of the year I’ll be making things for me after that who knows!
I have a list of projects to make in 2022
My crafting plans for this new year is to finish at least 1 project!! I’ll be Journaling a lot more this year as well so I’m excited about that!
Chandi, thank you so much for sharing all of your amazing gifts and talents with us! For the new year, I hope to return to crafting once I finish my masters degree. And I plan to travel more and pick up beautiful hand-made items (and ideas) from my destinations.
My crafting plans are to try to get some UFO’s finished. I have them out and ready to go. Sewing projects, knitting ones too. Looking forward to 2022 for traveling and summer but winter is for crafting!
My crafting plans for 2022??? Finishing all the projects I started this year! 4 on the hook right now. I’m glad it’s my hobby, and it’s always there when I need it.
I can’t believe I signed up. I’m disabled (chronic pain, fibro) and have been unable to knit or crochet for years. In bed 24/7 and only go for medical stuff in wheelchair. I even have 2 projects in my knit bag for 3 years. But love Chandi’s attitude and personality. I’ve been on many YouTube knit sites. BORING! The colors r gorgeous. Never used this type of yarn. Always used what’s in stock in chain stores. I’m hopeful God gives me stamina. I have friends who might like knitted items. I HOPE
💜
I plan to host two make alongs and focus on the color blue in my knitting. I absolutely love blue but for some reason haven’t knit many blue things.
Wow !! Those colors are amazing! I’d be happy with any one of them, but especially those aquas…. be still my heart!
Oh my gosh, hello to everyone. I just today received my Still of the Night and Sterling Silver Cashsilk to make the Plateau Poncho. First I have to finish a big soft squishy throw I’m making for a friend who’s mom passed away. I’m making the blanket out of yarn that belonged to her mom, so it will be extra meaningful.
I am also learning to model polymer clay, needlefelting, and brushing up on my crochet skills. My goal is to make a little Rainbow Unicorn Butterfly Kitten for each of my BFFs.
I love you!
I absolutely have to make some time for knitting again. Life gets so busy and my creative projects tend to stop. I need to prioritize and start the gazillion projects I want to do!
Crafting plans for new year are one of the more intermediate level shawl patters!
My crafting plans include starting my 3rd knitted blanket using Opal sock yarn ……. and more sweaters, I have enough pairs of socks – LOL – need to add to my sweater collection.
I love love love i can’t express it any more but I simply love and adore these. They are fab. I just wish I could get them so I can make my shawl with them since I’m having foot surgery and have to be laid up for a bit.. what a great thing to do while I recover..
My crafting plans…design more jewelry, learn to weave, and take a deep dive into more knit projects.
Chandi – I’m really looking forward to your blanket pattern coming up next year!! So it’s very likely that I will be knitting (or maybe crocheting) a blanket. I’d also like to do some acrylic paintings. Yay for 2022!!
I am currently trying my hand at fair isle knitting!! I always wanted to learn, it looks so beautiful, so intricate.
I need to master sock knitting. I hate dpn. Always in a muddle. I need to finish your Mantlemist shawl first and a battenberg blanket.
My plans are to make a shawl for my mom and try and take time each week to knit.
Hi Chandi, The new yarns look luscious and whoever wins is one lucky knitter!
My new year’s goal is to re-evaluate my yarn stash and my numerous unfinished objects with a realistic approach; do I love it – will I knit or crochet it?
I still have a lot of crafts my mother left when she passed and have given myself permission to donate or gift some of the kits and materials I can’t see myself finishing or enjoying.
I’d love to win this months yarn…they are my favorite colors! I plan to knit several shawls this winter. I already have your patterns and yarn for them, just waiting to start after the holidays.
I’m trying to finish WIPs but I’ll be adding new projects as KALs come up.
In 2022 i am going to hand-dye my first hanks of my hand spun yarn from my first raw fleece purchase… and learn a lot. I am also going to make at least one of your patterns i have been watching on youTube! You inspire me, thanks!
Crikey…plans for the New Year! Haven’t fulfilled the Christmas lot yet! 🎁🎄🤶
I’d love to make one major item for each of the kids, either crocheted or knit and go deliriously overboard with all the small makes, crochet, knit and sewn for for my first Grandchild and spoil her like nobody’s business by making all the things! 😁👶💖
May you and Tim have a magical Christmas and cherish the memories shared with loved ones during this time.
Be safe and Chandi, allow the warmth from your Dad’s love fill your heart on Christmas day…. and thank you. xo
Thank you so much! 💕
Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win some gorgeous yarn. They’re beautiful colours!
I hope to finish some pieces before starting anything new in the new year – although that will be tough if I win some of your yarn!!
Hello! Extremely beautiful yarn 🥰 I can’t wait to try it out. This winter I’ll be focusing on crochet scarves and cowls! Thank you for the opportunity!
Hi Chandi !
Just Glorious yarns yet again.
I wld love to try a garment – Cozy long Cardigan. And……. Brioche !!!!!!
All the best to you and Tim this holiday Season and A Fabulous new Year ahead !
marcia
Thanks, Marcia! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season as well!
Plan to use up my stash so I can buy more yarn 😁! More concretely- make another Keziah top, make Hadi in Raven, and a cardigan.
My 2022 goals are to use all the beautiful yarns I’ve purchased in 2021. I learned to knit just so I could make the Darcy Shawl and I am getting ready to start that, so excited! I’m already working on 3 pairs of the crochet socks and they are turning out so beautiful. I want to find a simple elegant cardigan to knit and all of my grandkids are wanting scarves, hats and mittens. Merry Christmas Chandi, I’m looking forward to spending another year enjoying all your videos, yarns and patterns!
I want to do more!! Get my craft room in some sort of order, and actually use my stash instead of just adding to it!!
Oh I love a wintry palette! Another gorgeous lot, Chandi.
I plan to finish a “Lightwood Cowl” this month, so I can begin fresh in the new year. First up: Ciottolo in “New York at Night”, “Laguna”, and “Icy”. I can hardly wait, your CashSilk base is lux-u-ri-ous!!! I also have “Oratorio” lined up to create Faie (probably next fall), and something special tucked away for Pink Rain.
My goal for the coming year is to wheedle down my stash. I have a cupboard bursting with yarn that I purchased when I first set out on my fibre journey. Much of it is synthetic, and mostly just a skein or two of each. What I lacked in knowledge, I more than made up for in enthusiasm! I’m thinking the bulk of it will become toques, mitts, scarves, and socks. Some for me and my boys, and some for gifts or donations. I simply must make the room for one of these lovely give-aways! 😉 🤞💜
That is a lot of yarn and all of it gorgeous 😍. Although that’s not surprising since all your yarn is Chandi! I had had to stop going to your website for awhile because I was so tempted to get some of that gorgeous yarn even though I didn’t/don’t have the money for it 😅.
As for crafting plans for next year, there are a lot of gifts I need to work on & finish. Some of which were promised years ago but my health made it extremely difficult to even try to complete them. And I’d like to do a couple of projects for me that I already have the yarn for. And I definately want to do more crafting for charity, especially HatNotHate and cancer patients – chemo caps and some knitted knockers – and for preemies.
I also want to get back into doing more of my art and cardmaking/papercrafting and jewelry making. And I want to try to start at least a small Etsy store, mostly so I can prove that the Cricut maker I bought a few months ago on sale CAN pay for itself 😉.
And while not technically a craft, but still very creative, I want to get more serious about my poetry and fiction/novel writing. I meant to start during November, since that is NaNoWriMo aka National Novel Writing Month. But my health and family stuff got in the way of that…
And I just realized how long this post is and detailed 😅 😳.
But yeah, love your yarn Chandi! Have been a big fan of it and you and your kindness and generosity, your Friday emails always manage to lift me up no matter how down I am. Your determination and business have always been an inspiration. And you not only make gorgeous yarn but gorgeous patterns as well.😍
And now I’ll stop before this gets any longer 😆 😅.
💕
Congrats to Julie
Very nice Giveaway, my Nextyear Plan is to knit a Cardigan.
A wonderful Christmas Time from Germany to all of you 🌲
PS.: Sorry for my English 😊
my 2022 goals are using up the stash i’ve collected for the patterns in my To Do List and trying to teach myself how to knit 🙂 wish me luck LOL
Such gorgeous yarn, would love to knit myself a sweater with some if it.
The colors are gorgeous, they remind me of a summer vacation. To be honest I don’t have any craft ideas for the new year yet. When I look at these beautiful colors, I see a very nice shawl for spring. One to snuggle in, like a big comfy hug.
I would really love to learn how to make socks and possibly learn to knit a sweater. I mostly crochet but have always wanted to learn how to knit. I love how knitting looks. Also the fact that an item knitted is not as heavy or bulky as an item crocheted in a similar pattern would be. I have learned how to knit a hat and scarf. I have also made two knit baby blankets. Garter stitch of course.
I plan to get my workroom set up and get back to my knitting in the new year. We just moved and it has been hard without a place to sit and knit every evening!! I can’t wait to unpack all my beautiful Expression Fiber Arts yarns that i had to put into storage!!
I’d to work on a cozy cardigan for myself. I’ve done about 13 crochet mosaic projects and would really like to deep dive into it and learn knit mosaic. And I’ve got a new neice or nephew coming in late spring early summer SooOoo looking forward to making a bunch of baby stuff! Ur yarns are absolutely scrumdidilyumsious!!
This grouping of yarn is beautiful! In 2022, I would like to hone my crochet skills and complete more apparel – beyond shawls, scarves, throws and baby items. I would also like to learn to knit. Happy holidays!!
I was thinking of doing a mood blanket 🙂 something like a weather blanket but a mood one 🙂
I’m saving up to buy some of your gorgeous jewel tone yarn to crochet a lovely shawl for a dear friend. Happy Holidays to your and yours!!
Hi, love your content! I’m working on a couple blankets, couple scarfs, a shawl and if I have time… fingerless gloves and slippers 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Chandi
I have many cardigans planned for next year and probably a whole lot of hats. I love making hats.
Oh, those beautiful colors! I don’t have anything specific lined up for next year..it depends on if I can get back to doing vendor events. I’ve been crocheting so much since the pandemic started, but it has really helped keep me happy. I recently started crocheting mittens and they’re so fun! Maybe I’ll make matching poncho and mitten sets for gifts…who knows? The possibilities are endless!
I want to continue practicing crochet and loom knitting, but I’m also itching to get back to cross stitching and quilting. My secret craft ambition next year is to take a weaving workshop. The one good thing I’ll carry over from this year is that I’m okay with my projects being perfectly imperfect. I laugh at my mistakes, learn from them, and carry on enjoying the process! 😊
I am hoping to finish up all of my wips from this year next year.
I will like to do a crocheted cardigane for Șpring and a Jennifer Steingass sweater.
Those colours are very, very beautiful!
My crafting plans for 2022 are to:
1. Finish crocheting a scarf for my mother.
2. Start crocheting clothes.
3. Learn knitting!
Hai Candi,
Love to try your gorgeous yarn but unfortunatly I can’t afford to buy them. But every month I always hope to win your gorgeous yarn ( never give up) hope Santa will hear my prayer.
Have a beautiful holiday Candi and Tim. And Merry X’mas and happy new year.
( always love your patterns )
Hi Chandi,
here’s Olga from Poland.❤️ Maybe I shouldn’t write it (cause I love to knit&crochet), but my goal is to find BALANCE. I must to move more, do some excercises, go to swim, run or just for a walk. And then (not before means never), in the evening, sitting in my favorite chair… Shawls. All kind of them. I have to much blankets already🙃.
I wish you a magical Christmas and All the Best for time to come. This year, next and the next and the next, and t…
Olga
You are a real sparkle with your smile, warm voice and… flying hands❤️🙏✨🦋🧚
This year I would love to knit my first sweater. I keep looking at your Konigssee pattern. I think that will be the one!
My beloved craft has been incredibly depressing of late. I know it’s because most of what I have knit and crocheted in the past 6 years has been for my “shop”, which has been ~1% successful. So, my plans for next year include making more things for myself and immediate loved ones. These colors are serene and inviting, and your yarns are absolutely beautiful.
Wishing you good fortune on your shop. I am glad you are taking the time to make things for you and your family. 💕
I don’t have crochet plans—I just keep collecting patterns and try to get as many made as I can:)
My crafting plans for the new year is to use up stash. Now, with that said….I seriously doubt using stash will ever happen since there’s always something new a that I must have! 😀
Hello Chandi, the colours of your yarns are amazing! Right now I am crocheting the Red Velvet Rose shawl from your blog. Also, the video tutorial on your YouTube channel is really great and helpful. I have several plans for next year. I would like to crochet another shawl – Adalia and some tank tops for summer. The biggest challenge for me is to learn new creative techniques, for example needle tatting and micro macrame.
All the best!
Ildikó
Love those colors! It’s my birthday month so maybe I’ll get lucky??!! Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!
Hello Chandi,
I am planning to make some jumpers for my niece and nephew coming year. As my sister just gave birth, I would love to gift something that has some emotion, love and care attached to.
Hope you have a great Christmas and happy holidays.
With love,
Neha
Just soooo beautiful! Even better to work with!
Wunderschöne Farben! I love all those colors, the yarn i bought so far i love! Been working on shawls. Super quality yarn <3
New Year?!? I cant think that far ahead.
I need to finish the Christmas gifts off first. the Christmas sweater for the niece, the washcloths (2 of 14 done) for the ladies at work, the two lace shawls, the spring sweater I just need to seam up, and the cardigan who lacks the deep button band and sleeve cuffs
Oh dear, I need a nap now
My plans are shawls, one per month. Im obsessed
To finish the projects I have started or will start.
Simply Gorgeous! A wrap with these colors would make me feel like a mermaid on land 🧜♀️🧜🧜♂️🏝
First up in the new year is def the Reignbeaux Sweater!
I want to make a baby blanket! Hopefully for my own baby to be 🤞🤍🤱
Would love to make socks and a cardigan for the first time
Hi, my head is always filled with thread-full plans ;o) I recently discovered your patterns and my my, they are so gorgeous and got me started on knitting other forms than rectangles. I’m afraid to look at the yarns because as you might recognize, I made a pact with myself to use the current stash first before ordering new skeins. Another promise I made to myself is, that from now on, when the time comes to order yarn, I allow myself to order what I really like instead of what I can afford. There’s often a discrepancy there…. ;o) Anyway, have a warm and loving December and a great 2022, from a Dutchie :o)
My crafting plans for next year are to finish my WIPs and hopefully get through some of my ravelry queue!
Crafting plans for ’22 remain the same as always: knit, knit, knit, as much as possible. Never be without something on the needles.
Hi Chandi! Happy Holidays to you and Tim and the whole EFA team! I’m so excited to see what the new year will bring, new colors and patterns and more of your gorgeous yarns. I learned to crochet from my grandmother, but never really tried to do any more with it until a few years ago, and relied heavily on YouTube tutorials to grow my skills. And that’s where I found you! Now I’m learning how to knit, and it’s so much fun😊Thank you so much for being a shining light and creating a positive place to come and learn new things and create beautiful handmade works of art.
Happy Holidays!
My first project in 2022 will be a crochet poncho in alpaca yarn.
My crafting plan for the new year is to learn and practice at least one new skill. I’m currently learning mosaic overlay crochet, and I’m eyeballing embroidery for the new year/new skill. Maybe also pick up knitting. I started to learn to knit a few years ago and made a pair of fingerless gloves, then I lost interest. EFA has some gorgeous knit patterns, though, so eventually I’ll have to learn!
I hope to actually knit a pair of socks – have knitted lots of shawls and hats, even did a Stephen West shawl this year but have never made socks. Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.
I have plans to make several of your shawls. I also have a couple of UFOs I’d like to complete and maybe a knit pillow cover to go with the blanket I’m almost finished with.
My challenge for 2022 is to finally knit something a little more complicated than a scarf. 🙂
Hi Chandi
I enjoy knitting and crocheting for family and charity organizations. I will continue to knit hats and scarves for both, and I intend to knit some sweaters snd shawls as well. I have just received several skeins of yarn from your store which will become beloved Christmas Gifts. Thank you for your daily encouragement and weekly instruction videos. You make each day very special for our family.
Thank you,
Gabriele Day
💜
I second what my Mom said! You certainly make each day a special one for us, so I can’t thank you enough! <3
I don’t know how to read the pattern but I go by the video and crochet I don’t know how to knit
I’m hoping to crochet some lovely bags or just a lovely scarf since I never really crocheted one before other than an infinity one. I would like to learn how to knit, however so perhaps these yarns would give a good opportunity for me to do so.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Loved checking out your website/store. Beautiful patterns as well. My plans for projects in 2022 are many smaller projects to stash for gifting and maybe a couple of larger projects. I enjoy both crocheting & knitting.
I’d love to learn tunisian crochet!
This year I am going to try to make my very first sweater following your course on how to make a sweater. I am so excited about it!!!
Woohoo!
My crafting plans for the new year are to freshen up my crochet skills, and hopefully make an afghan using granny squares.
Talk about GORGEOUS! Thank you so much for this generous giveaway opportunity, Chandi! I really want to make the Boho Crochet Shawl pattern. LOVE that fringe! I’ve been sitting on that one for a few months, lol, waiting for just the right yarn and any of these in the giveaway would be stunning. Love your videos. Can’t wait to see what’s next 🙂
My plans for the new year – start using up some the yarn in my stash before I buy any more. Also, I’m trying to teach myself how to Crochet, so hoping to move forward on that.
My plan is to knit my first sweater. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays!
I think mine will be to gets some of my many wip’s done, and knit or crochet some of my yarn that I have been spinning. Happy Holidays to you
This month’s colors are right in my comfort zone. I love blues. Thank you for all the lovely videos and tutorials. I look forward to seeing you every week.
Next year will be a year of sweaters I think
Hi Chandi, I’m a newbie here and just want to say thank you for the giveaway opportunity. I plan on finally crocheting a jumper or sweater and I’m going to start an Etsy page for selling my creations.
Next year I plan to finish the sweater and throw that I started ages ago. And I have a striped ruana pattern that I am going to have to write because I can’t find on that I like. I have 3 other patterns I’ve written out and I’m thinking of adding them to Ravelry. And I’m going to learn to dye my own yarn.
My goal this year is to use up and give away items from my stash yarn that was bought when I was still learning. My bedroom is literally overflowing with yarn and patterns. I really need to clear out the bulk so I can work on the special projects guilt free. My goal is to focus on high quality yarn and projects going forward. To be a bit more selective with how I spend my time and more. Enjoy working slower and soak in the process.
My crafting goals are to learn to knit!!
My crafting plans for the new year are to finish some of my WIPs and crochet a blanket in the colours of the University that my son chooses to go to. And if I win this beautiful bundle of yarn, well, I’ll have some more new projects to do!
Those are gorgeous colors! I would like to knit a sweater using stranded color work in the coming year.
First, I would like to thank you for your generousity of free patterns, yarn giveaways and so-ooo much more! Your beautiful soul shows in everything you do. I plan on knitting my first sweater, Yay! I crochet and knit shawls for the homeless and this year there will be so many more because of Covid. Thank you Tim for your beautiful photography. I really enjoy seeing what you come up with. As the song goes, “Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas” you two!
Clara Kooper
Next year I plan on knitting up all this gorgeous yarn that I’m about to win!! 😁❤️🧶❤️
Congrats to last months winner. How exciting. I am excited to try beads with the Arden pattern. Finally got the cashsilk pine and my beads. Also working on Days a for crochet. Almost done with scarf for my mom for Christmas. It would be the best Christmas if I could win such beautiful yarn. Thanks for all you do. Happy Holidays!
Vayda for crochet
Vayda for crochet
For 2022, I would like to make the Briarpatch scarf and finish some of my abandoned projects. Love your Friday emails, Chandi! Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
Just got done with all my Christmas gifts. I’m hoping to get some dyes from Santa so I can start dyeing my roving! Merry Christmas everyone
Hey! I’m waiting for the day when my school schedule relaxes a bit and I can focus on a bigger project, like a garment or a throw…
Your giveaways are so marvellous, Chandi! I can tell that the person who is gonna score this awesome stash is gonna use it to its fullest potential.
Thank you for this gift that’s gonna start off a yarn person’s year in the best way possible!
Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!

Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!
I just happened to stumble upon your webpage through Facebook. I’m loving your patterns. I’ve knit several shawls and wraps, but you have several that I am going to try next year. Okay, maybe not several next year, but several over the next several years1
As I am finally fully retired, my goals this year are organize all my UFOs and make a plan to finish them. Perhaps the best plan would be to just grab one and get it done and move on from there…lol.
Make some new shawls cardigans and sweaters
Another gorgeous set of yarn this month! My Mom very kindly gave me some skeins of your yarn for Christmas, and I’m so looking forward to knitting with them, as I’ve followed your work for well over a year now and haven’t had the ability to purchase any myself until recently. (I bought several for my Mom as well as a surprise, so I’ll be looking forward to what she makes with them too!) I’ve also just started knitting my first sweater, so if that goes well, I really want to try a couple of your sweater patterns this coming year 🙂 I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, and I wish you all the best for a wonderful new year!
I love all the yarn I have bought from Expression. My latest 6 or 7 projects has been one skein asymmetrical scarves. A wonderful complement to a crew neck sweater. Would absolutely love to win December’s give away.
I discovered your Sonder pattern just recently so currently working on that. It’s beautiful and I often find myself thinking of its meaning as I knit. I haven’t truly settled on new projects beyond this but I find myself growing more adventurous with each completed project.
I organized my craft room before the holidays and put my WIP basket next to the couch. I plan to finish my projects before moving on to new patterns.
I discovered you and your You Tube channel just in time for the holidays over a year ago and you inspired me to bite the bullet and get my very first credit card. The rest as they say is history! I’ve maxed the card out buying yarn, patterns and accessories. But I didn’t stop there, watching you gave me the itch to try knitting again but your Darcy Shawl pattern pushed me over the edge, I had to have that shawl for me and the only way I was going to get it was to make it myself. You, your blessed and beautiful soul, and your wicked and playful sense of humor inspired me to try learning to knit one last time. I DID IT!!! I CAN KNIT!!! Thank you so much for that. My New Year’s crafting goals are to start using all the beautiful yarn I bought from you and to put my new skill to good use by finally making my Darcy Shawl and finishing the Flights of Fancy socks I’ve started (I’m making 3 pairs) and making my grandkids something out of all the yarn I bought. Merry Christmas, and happy New Year. May God bless you and your’s in all the many ways that you’ve blessed and continue to bless everyone you come in contact with, throughout the coming year.
My new year crafty plans are to finish some of the various projects that have basically become furniture accents in my home and to resume spinning on Sundays so I can justify buying more fiber.
