Hello and welcome!
Okay, guess what?
We have a beeeautiful gradient crochet shawl pattern for you. Ahhhhh. So pretty.
One of our customers, Helen Meissner, designed this beautiful wrap using one of our Mini Gradient Kits (worsted weight).
It’s a fairly simple pattern and repeats throughout so you can just stop when you’re out of yarn. Woop!
The kit includes 5 skeins and they graduate from lightest to darkest for this beautiful ombre effect. Loving. It. So. Much.
Helen used to teal to bring awareness to ovarian cancer and wanted to include this about the shawl. It has a deeper meaning that just a beautiful design:
“Ovarian Cancer is as known the silent killer in women. The cancer attacks the ovaries and then spreads to other tissues in the body. Knowing the signs of ovarian cancer are important. Some signs include: constant bloating, lack of appetite, and pelvic pain. Know your body and be an advocate for yourself. Notice these symptoms, especially if they are prolonged over a period of weeks or months. I was diagnosed in September 2008 with Ovarian Cancer and underwent a full hysterectomy and chemotherapy. In 2015 I was declared cancer-free and was cured. It has become my mission to make others aware of this disease.” – Helen Meissner
I appreciate Helen’s honesty and the beautiful design she came up with to celebrate conquering ovarian cancer. You can wear this shawl in multiple ways, as shown: like a kerchief or a shawl or wrap over your hair if it’s snowing!
Well, I hope you love this design. You can download the pattern here.
You can also see our other patterns here, both knit and crochet, many of them free. Woop!
Have a wonderful day.

My mother had overian cancer. We think it’s heritary but can’t prove it enough to be tested. She only found out when she got a stomach bug, by that time it was the size of a melon. Luckily it was all removed and she didn’t need chemo. I am worried but at the moment I am having the depo contraception injection that reduces the risk.
Love your colorways! Very inspiring!
So pretty. Love the color of that yarn!! <3
Love the pattern and the color ways!
I currently have ovarian cancer. I just love anything with teal in it. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately I will never be cancer free. Gentle hugs for all those going through their journey of ovarian cancer. Xx
