“If you love what you do, there are no difficult tasks, only interesting ones.” -Vadim Kotelnikov
Welcome welcome! I’ve been anxious to get back to the blog, even though I’m technically on vacation. I have much to share!
First up:
I spun up this soft wool/alpaca yarn from a Hanks in the Hood batt:
It’s a rich deep green with soft brown flecks in it. OOOOhhhwweeee! Warm and cozy!!
Pattern: Turn a Square Hat by Jared Flood (Yes, another one! Click here and here to see more I’ve made)
Yarn: My handspun – Chunky Weight
Needles: US Size 7
Time to Knit: About a week and a half
Notes: Easy! Fun! I’ve made tons of these and highly recommend the pattern.
AND! While browsing Etsy the other day (which I LOVE), I ran across this adorably gorgeous, irresistible yarn ball necklace:
It’s from Designs by Sky Koltun and all of her items are beautiful. I want them all! What’s really cool about this knitting necklace is it’s just two balls on the ends of the chain and you simply wrap one around the other and let them hang. LOVE! XOXOXOXOXO
Definitely check out both those etsy shops and see what goodies you can find! Can you resist? I couldn’t. 🙂
In further news, I’m simply bursting with glee. I have lots of things about to happen for you, including a contest, tons of new shades of yarn and roving and fleece in the shop, and more. Stay tuned!
Peace and Light!
