Would love to win this and just knit my heart out!
Hi there! Subscribed! This is my first time entering any of your contests! I haven’t been crocheting for even a full year yet! I learned by watching my mom for about 5 minutes, went home & tried it on my own hours later & I picked it up quickly! I haven’t used very many different kinds/weights of yarn yet so I’d use it to get the feel of something different & teach myself a new pattern! I made my own small business page on Facebook a few months back to try & earn extra income for my husband and I. He’s a retired Army Vet & currently goes to school an hour away full time, one semester left to have his associates in Criminal Justice. We’ve been married only 5 years this year. I’m a stay at home wife as we only have one vehicle. Crocheting is a new love & hobby of mine as I lost the ability to do alot of the hobbies I used to love due to a car accident. It’s my outlet! Thsnk you for the opportunity to Enter! Ill keep trying to enter each give away until maybe I get lucky!!

hello i think your new colour should be called prism also i still have a ton of knitting to do for babys and family so winning a the yarn would be great thank you :-))
What to knit? What to knit? That is the question.
Whether ’tis nobler to knit a cowl
The slings and arrows of outrageous socks,
Or to take arms as fingerless mits,
And by opposing the yarn?
… Enough of this, I see a cowl, fingerless mits, socks and maybe even a shawl.
LOL! You crack me up! I needed a Monday laugh! Thank you!
Tara from Seattle
I entered and I would make something entrelac; a scarf or I just saw recently a pattern for entrelac gloves, too bad they where in a foreign language!
I an entering the competition for your stunning wool. I want to knit scarves for me and cardi/jumpers for my lovely grandson xx
I would give my yarn to the nuns and ladies that volunteer at Nazareth Living Center for their November Craft Fair. They come up with some of the most beautiful finished projects! And although I want to get back into my crocheting I think I better start with some yarn that is more inexpensive since there could be a lot of ripping out in the beginning. It’s been about 30 years since my crocheting was easy and I was making lots of stuff!
I entered. Absolutely loving the color combinations. So fantastic for fall. I would make fingerless glove or cowl scarves or maybe a vest or work them into my Fiber Arts projects! Oh, the possibilities are endless! I get my inspiration for what to make by feeling the yarn. There is nothing better than silk!
I have entered the giveaway! I will make something yummy for a Christmas gift.
Can’t remember if I have entered or not and don’t want to miss the chance to continue learning new techniques to use in scarves and shawls for a lot of people – including ME!!!!
Ok I still want to win. Your yak silk yarn is the best I have used. It is oh so soft. I love touching it

I entered the September yarn giveaway 🙂 I was admiring your funky knitted shawl, and I think these colorways and a few a I have in my stash would look awesome in that! LOVE LOVE LOVE your work 🙂
I entered! 🙂 First of all, I am loving these colors! Secondly, I will probably make a pair or two of gloves/fingerless mitts with the wool, and some kind of lacy goodness with the silk!
I entered, and I would like to start working on a vest!
I entered, and I would love to make some scarves and/or shawls with this beautiful yarn! 🙂
I entered. 😀 Thanks so much for the contest!
I entered and I would love to make baby hats
cowls are big now
Okay, these would definitely be turned into gifts for my family and close friends who will actually WEAR what I make for them! Since winter is fast approaching, I’d choose cold weather accessories. Such lovely yarn to work with! Must choose great patterns! Hmmm…hold on while I check my Ravelry queue…
1. With the 1st skein on the left, I think the Bow & Arrow Hat from Knitscene Accessories June 2013 would like BEAUTIFUL. The plan was to make gifts, but this might end up being for MOI! 🙂
2. With the teal/grey skein (2nd from left), I’d like to make the bandana cowl from Purl Bee for my bff, since teal is 1 of her favorite colors.
3. With the 3rd skein, I’m thinking the Stagger Cowl (also from Knitscene Accessories) would look nice and my good friend who recently moved to Brussels would love it!
4. With the last two skeins – probably really pretty, simple shawls (for my mom and good friend’s mother). Those colors are amazing! For example, these patterns might work: the Malabrigo Scalloped Shawl from Book #3, the Cheques Shawl by Phydeaux Designs or the Glacerie Shawl by Hilary Smith Callis. Too hard to pick which patterns, but definitely shawls! 🙂
However, if I could see/feel the yarn in person, that’d help me decide much quicker. 😉
ps – I entered, I’m already a subscriber. 🙂
I’m in
Christmas gifts! Likely fingerless gloves, or mittens 😉
It’s me again. Forgot to say I would give my yarn if I won to my oldest. She has add ADHD and found knitting as her gateway
Felted hats! What beauties this yarn would make—-YUMMMMMMMMY!
These are some of my favorite colors. I have 4 beautiful nieces and two lovely daughters-in-laws to knit and crochet things for. I think I will let the yarn inspire me, but probably some scarves, mittens, hats or shawls would be in order. I love to make special toys for newborns as well.
I would make so awesome boot cuffs with the Merino, and I’ve been wanting to try a triangular shawl, so the silk would be great for that!
With those 2 yarns on the left I would do a combo using them in a welted 5 rows stockinette stitch and then the other yarn 5 rows reverse stockinette so it would be reversible. Depending on the yardage a scar for shawl or super cowl. It looks like they are different weight yarns and this would really add to the interest. For the other 3 skeins which also look like they would combo well I would do a quick top down roll collar /raglan sweater for my 1 year old+ grandson Brody who is so adorable- hopefully enough to do a matching toque-that’s Canadian for winter hat. 🙂
I subscribed! The yarn is so pretty and I would make maybe a wrap, gloves, hat…maybe a baby sweater! So many pretty options
I love this yarn. Probably make some socks or scarf.
I’m a newby to your lovely site and also to knitting but I would love to make a cowl or shawl with the beautiful yarn you are giving. Thank you 🙂
I have entered!
If I win I will dive into something I’ve never tried to make before – fingerless gloves (I just really want a pair this year!) And some super warm toe up socks. Seattle gets that wet cold from October (though it looks like we’re starting early this year!) Through March. Some super warm socks would be awesome! I’ve made socks top down, but toe up looks cleaner seems like they would fit better around the toe. I could be wrong, but this fantastic wool would be fun to try it out on!
I need I want these for myself…….lol I would most likely make a cowl or something new for myself. Been making a lot for everyone else lately and need something new for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ooooh, the blue in the middle is my sister’s color! She’s a mail carrier so needs something warm for her neck!
Entered! I would make some wrist warmers to give at Christmas
I’m already subscribed. Yarn tells me what it wants to be, so I’d have to hold it in my hands before I’d know what to make- but it would be beautiful in that yarn!

Well…(i have entered) i might change my mind if i’d touch those yarns, but at a first sight i’d go for a pair of long fingerless mittens and a matching free-art necklace made with my 3.50 mm crochet hook. Those i’d make with that thinner silk yarn. The merino wool yarns i’d use them to make maybe a tunic and a hippie purse, or maybe some leg-warmers and a pair of gloves along with a scarf…i don’t now quite sure 🙂 Anyway, that yarn looks delicious!

I would like to begin making lovely squares to contribute – and for a child to have a special blanket that says love. (Already subscribed.) Each skein would have to “speak” to me. Hopefully, there’s a skein of yak-silk because my daughter thinks I am going to knit something for her with the skein I already have. Hah! Still, it would be a bright note after the furlough and with the looming gov’t shutdown. Sigh.
