Hello, sweet friend! Today, I have a lovely, knitted cowl pattern to share with you, and it comes in three sizes. I hope you’ll keep reading to learn all about it.
Fadeling was designed by Cari Jehlik. When asked about this design, Cari said, “Every so often, an idea comes around that allows the yarn to do all of the talking. Fadeling is such an idea. The simple linen stitch pattern gives voice to beautiful yarn and allows a carefully chosen colorway to do what it does best. The intermingling rib at the center of the featured color gives a chance for each hue to show off individually before fading back into the next color.”
“This simple and meditative cowl pattern will work up like a dream in your hands, and the continual color changes will hold your interest until the very last stitches. Slip your hands into something comfortable and beautiful. Let’s craft!”This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is for knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Skills include color changes, working in the round, and blocking techniques.
Fadeling was made with our cozy Crema Worsted yarn. Crema Worsted is a luxurious blend of 70% Superwash Merino Wool and 30% Mulberry Silk. It’s a luscious, shimmering, 8-ply yarn that is bouncy and long-lasting! With excellent structure, a soft hand, and a subtle glow, this yarn is lovely for shawls, sweaters, accessories, blankets, baby items, and so much more! Crema Worsted is a dreamy yarn that takes the dye incredibly well, which results in fabulous, hand-dyed shades! 192 yds/175 m per skein.
The samples shown here were knitted with our Fleur Hues Crema Worsted Kit with colors worked from lightest (A) to darkest (D). The samples shown here used approximately 150 yds (137 m) for the Small, 360 yds (329 m) for the Medium, and 540 yds (494 m) for the Large.
The pattern contains written instructions only.
