Hello, my lil’ sweet pea! This week, I have a sweet and romantic crochet shawl pattern to share with you! Keep reading to find all of the details.
Faded Blush was designed by Johanna Huck. She says, “Faded Blush was inspired by the names of the two colorways used in this shawl, Faded Rose and Cool Blush. Like a rose that fades away, the change from new to old is reflected by the color transition adopted in this pattern. Started with only one color, the contrasting color is slowly incorporated into the shawl until it takes over.”
Faded Blush is an adventurous beginner level crochet pattern. It is great for those crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations, like the foundation double crochet.
Oasis Camel Silk Fingering makes this piece long-wearing, but elegant at the same time. The mix of camel and silk gives it remarkable softness and a delicate shimmer to fit any occasion.
The sample is shown in colors: C1) Faded Rose and C2) Cool Blush.Â
This sample used 1,120 yds (1,025 m) total – C1: 745 yds (2 skeins) and C2: 375 yds (1 skein).
We made a video demonstrating the different parts of this crochet shawl pattern. Take a look, and see how easy it is to add this shawl to your Spring wardrobe.
