Hello, beautiful soul!
Today, we have a luscious knit wrap pattern that can actually be worn as 7 different items.
Wine Country Knit 7 in 1 Wrap by Jane Vanselous. With the addition of a few knitted i-cords and/or well placed seams, this may be worn as a scarf, shawl, cowl, 2 different styles of ponchos, hood, and shrug!
This project uses various yarns weights to produce this cool effect – you can use nearly any combination of yarn weights you choose. We used our Wine Country Hues kit, but if that is out of stock, truly choose just about any 3 skeins of yarn on the site. They can be similar colors or different shades altogether.
Have a watch! We have filmed a video tutorial for you on how to wear this piece 7 different ways:
I hope you enjoy this versatile pattern that will have you wanting to make multiple versions.
The kit we used to knit this sample, Wine Country Hues, has 1 skein of Sparkle DK, 1 skein of Alpaca Silk DK and 1 skein of Pearlescent Worsted. We used the same shade in each, but you could mix and match your colors and yarn weights.
We know you will have such fun choosing what to make and will want to make it multiple times! And we cannot wait to see what you create! If you’re on Instagram, tag us at #expressionfiberarts so we can share your pics in our gallery!
I appreciate you reading and if you’d love to get brand new, premium knit and crochet patterns for free weekly, just hop onto our email list there on the site. We list new patterns most Fridays and they are usually free for a limited time. Yes, indeedy!
Talk to ya soon.
XOXOXO Chandi

If I’m not advanced enough to knit with 3 separate yarns, could I make this with a worsted, 6-ply cashmere? I’m a beginner and really appreciate your videos.
You absolutely could!
I have all ready put my order in can’t wait to make .
Do you have a recommended cast on and bind off for this project?
We don’t have one. Just use whichever bind off method that words best for you. ❤️
Love the look it is gorgeous! Can you put a pattern for crochet with this….I really want to make it in crochet 😍
We can certainly work on something. 🙂
I just started this one in comfy cotton today.
I had so much fun making this pattern! Love it!!
I am also interested in a 7 in 1 crochet version.
We are planning on that!

Thank you for considering a crochet version!!
It’s coming soon!
I cannot believe that I missed this amazing video. It is a multiple pieces in one knit. WOW🤩 I love it !!! Thank you Chandi. I know what I will be making next.
When making the gauge swatch for this pattern should I be using all three yarns, or can I do it with just one of them?
Hi Cindy, thank you ofr your message. It should be ok to make the swatch just in one of the yarns, they are similar enough in thickness. I hope this answers your question. Have a nice day! – Johanna 💖
