Hello Chandi, what I love about the fall season is just walking through the cool temperature wearing a light sweater and a beautiful shawl 🙂
I love the fall colors and the crunch of the leaves under my feet as the days turn crisp.
Beautiful colors, would love to win!
Dreamy. Simply heaven to be lost in a world of yarn.
My favorite thing about the fall season is a mixture of things that to me says FALL! The leaves changing colors, the cooler temperatures, the crunchcrunch of fallen leaves on the ground, and that slightly wet, earthy smell. <3
I love the coolness and the sound of crickets in the morning. And being able to wear sweaters in the chill of the evening.

Hi Chandi! I love the smells and colors of fall! It’s crisp and clear and it makes ones heart happy!!!
Love the trees changing colour and misty mornings that the sun breaks through. Best time for walks in the countryside.
Sweet Chandi, I love the yarns and the patterns, but most of all I love your clear-headed, optimistic outlook on life. I have always felt that if I wake up in the morning oh, then I have already won. That I can wake up in this country is another great blessing. Thank you for encouraging all of us to live with joy.
What i love about fall is that its no longer too hot to crochet.
I love everything about it! The crisper days and longer nights, the colors, Halloween!!!!, pumpkin everything, warm clothes and the expectation of the coming holidays. Oh! And HalloweenTime at Disneyland!! 😆 So much fun!!
I love all the obvious things about fall, like leaf color, cool air/warm earth, roasted marshmallows, etc. But most of all I love cuddling with my grandchild under one of my handknit shawls.
Hi Chandi! Thanks for positive inspiration. It’s always amazing to see how women can come out of very dark circumstances and still bloom. It gives me hope that I too can do it. Especially what I saw today on your site, be the heroine of your life, not a victim. I love yarn and crochet has helped me emotionally and to support myself and my kids financially. I admire how you make an effort to brighten someone’s day with these wonderful giveaways. Much appreciated and loved.
I love this time of year! Pumpkins, apples, corn, tomatoes, and their glorious colors too!

I love the crispiness in the air and the slight nip in the breeze. Living in India, fall marks the beginning of our festive season and I love the positive energy all around and preparing for the festivities ahead.
Hey Chandi!
First off, thanks for responding so quickly to my questions/comments throughout the year. Your customer service is beyond satisfactory.
My favorite thing about the fall season would be the gathering of family and friends. Whether it’s the food, sports, or just an impromptu gathering, there is nothing like a fall bonfire or a pile of leaves to go along with it. Of course selfishly, the happy scene would include fiber arts of some sort; teaching the young ones to crochet, knit or a quick spin on the wheel! An afternoon of natural dying after harvesting your own “weeds” as my family calls them. Great fun!
My favorite thing about this fall season is!! My Baby is due in November!! Yay! I can’t wait! And also all the flies go away😁
❤️❤️❤️
I love blue! It’s my favorite colors! I have never tried your yarn. I would be so happy to try it.

The weather is my favorite part of fall. Not too hot and not too cold!
Hi Chandi, in your yarns, will you explain the difference between using DK weight vs. sport weight yarns in your patterns? I’m interested in the Fennmont sweater and wondering how it would work out in the Alpaca Silk DK yarn instead of the Twisted Tweed. Wondering if it would come out larger or smaller based on the yarn. This would be first full sized sweater I would complete. I’m working on a baby sweater now, and love doing socks and special things for special people.
Also, thank you for the yarn giveaway! Your colors are so beautiful, it would be great to win!
That is definitely something we could do. Thanks for the suggestion!
Fire pits, fall colors, brisk weather (jeans & hoodies, yayyy!), hot apple cider… I can’t wait!

Here in New Zealand we are in the early days of spring. New born lambs waggle their tails as they feed. Ducklings follow their mum’s in fluffy pompom strings. The pukeko (NZ native swamp hens) chicks scoot along like pompoms on stilts. Such a wonderful time of year, full of new life and new hope.
My favorite thing about the autumn is the peaceful quality of cooler mornings, the lack of mosquitos and humidity, and how cats (and especially black cats!) are more celebrated, lol!

There’s a uniqueness about autumn; I think it’s the combination of the crisp, cool temperatures, the smell of woodsmoke in the air, and the sound of crinkling from the falling leaves. It’s an anticipation of nature preparing for the long hibernation of winter.

My favourite thing is to hold up the golden fallen leaves to the sunlight to see how intricate they are and to know we are loved and guided and never forgotten.
I love the shift in light and shadows. You just know without looking at the calendar, that Fall is close, by the light. And the crickets sing from early morning to late night. The dead quiet of midday Summer is over and I can hear sounds again. I can hardly take the quiet of dead Winter and dead Summer.
You just don’t need a calendar if you watch and listen.

This months colors are simply glorious, they remind me that we need to be loyal to ourselves and our friends… True Blue.

College football! Geaux LSU Tigers! My husband and I watch the games together. I sit and knit and he sits and second guesses the coaches and the referees. I prepare favorite foods from back home in Southern Louisiana to eat at half time–gumbo, barbecue shrimp, crawfish pie, shrimp etouffee, etc. Our son calls from Indiana to talk about our game, and we talk about his favorite team Oregon Ducks. Beautiful blues!
I am not a huge fan of fall because…winter is just around the corner. BUT I do love the fact that while the air is cooler, the earth is still giving off the summer warmth it soaked up, so the days are beautiful and the light is incredible.
Beautiful colors and luxurious yarn! ❤️🧶😊

gorgeous!
thanks for the chance to win free yarn!
🙂
I love Fall because of the changing colors and drop in temperature. It is so beautiful!
The cooler temperatures and the wonderful colors of the season.
Hi Chandi,
My favourite part of fall is the color changing of the leaves on the trees. It’s like living in a painting. The views are breathtaking and hiking is enjoyable due the cooler temperatures. And it’s football time and knitting time! What a great combo! Thanks for the opportunity to enter to win such a nice yarn selection.
Fall is my favorite season. Cooler weather and changing of the leaves are my favorite things about Fall. Thanks for the chance to win such beautiful colors of yarn!
I love the teal colors of your yarn. Perfect with the orange/ reds of fall. I love color and all the seasons have their own beauty. As a redhead, I’ve always been partial to fall colors and I love that I can have my windows open to enjoy the air and birdsongs.
My favorite thing about fall is the cooler, crisper air that is such a welcome relief at the end of a long, hot, dry spell! I can enjoy working in my gardens and taking long walks again.
What’s not to love about fall! The colors, the crisp air (sweaters :), the earthy smell of leaves… Not to mention all the pumpkin, spice, and apple baked goodies!
Hands down favorite thing I love about fall is the harvest of our gourds/pumpkins and decorating the yard and home with them.
I love the fall season for when the trees look like fruit loops, the air is fresh and clean and the tempertures are just right for wearing a sweater.
I love these colors. Pick me please.
So beautiful!!!!
What I love most about fall. The cooler weather, the changing colors of the leaves, and the harvest of fruits and veggies.
The colors of all your yarn are so beautiful. The yarn itself is a work of art. Thank you for the chance to enter a giveaway.
I love that in the fall, all the babies can wear the sweaters and hats that I have made for them ! ❤️❤️❤️
Blue is my favourite colour and all those blues are to dye for! Thank you my lovely for the yarn giveaway!
I love fall because it cools off enough that I can take my pups with me places. I can take the dogs for a walk someplace fun, then let them chill in the car while I run into the store for something. Also, leaves turn pretty colors here.
What lovely colors. Just wish I had purchased yarn before this Hurricane Dorian….I have nothing on my needles to keep me occupied….maybe I could tidy up my craft room and I will find something to knit with. It is going to be a little wild here in Wilmington, NC… everyone keep safe and dry. The blue tones in the giveaway will remind me of the lovely calm waters and sky that will return to coastal North Carolina soon.
We are keeping you in our thoughts. ❤️
Love your happy website. It warms my heart. Your yarns are scrumptious.
Love all the great apples in the fall. It’s the best season for them and there are so many good recipes out there. Thanks, love all the blue colours.
I love the changing & shedding of the leaves and the warm colors coming back into play. Crisp, cool nights, to leave the windows open to and the scent of wood burning stoves. Soups and chilies for dinners……
Chandi, beautiful colours as always! Your hand dyed yarns are exquisite and so lush.
My favourite thing about fall is hand knits and hot tea! I am so excited for the weather to cool down ever so slightly and the leaves to turn.
I love your colors.
I love the change of the season. Here in Switzerland we get that for sent of winter in early September. The evenings are darker and the temperature drops to what feels like below zero (of course it isn’t) and then in October there is this amazing sunlight and all the leaves seam to turn into it and suddenly the temperature is lovely again, you might go out without a jacket and each time the sun is shining it is pure joy. The weather turns from just sunny to mystical fog in the morning and evenings or all day, which is just amazing for photos. The forests are brown and grey, yet, they are still alive, the perfect time to go out there, make a fire and warm yourself up, and make your food on the open fire. Of course there is my birthday too but the season is just amazing so full of change. So full of life, bit only visible for those who care to look.
I love Fall, the cooler days for walking and enjoying the lovely colors of the trees changing and the new patterns coming out to knit for the fall.
The changingofthekeaves, the crispness in the air, pumpkin pie and wonderful fall spices
The changing of the leaves, the crispness in the air, pumpkin pie and wonderful fall spices.
Sure, the leaves turning colors and the change in the air, the return of the Vaux Swifts on their way south, roosting in nearby chimneys…these are all wonderful parts of autumn, but mostly I love the cooler weather for knitting and spinning without my hands getting too sweaty handling all those warm, wonderful yarns and fibers like those I get from you. These are gorgeous!
Love, love, love your yarn.
I love the fall season because of the beauty of the light, their reflection on the water, the leaves and the ground… Almost everything looks down and quite, but still alive… The trees slowly shows their bones, their nakedness. Is the perfect time to prepare the soul and the mind for the contempletion, the reflection, and the way to face new projects! Just love it!!
Colours
Such a giving soul -you’re awesome!
I was born and raised in CT, (hubby too) we did all of the Submarine Navy change of duty stations for 24 years and have been happily settled back in CT since 1998; in our home since 2006. I enjoy every season here, but Fall is my favorite because it awakens every sense! Sunshine glowing through leaves of amazing colors, the crunch of crisp leaves and tart apples is exciting, the scent of leaves as you rake or swish your feet through them; the musky smoke from neighbors wood burning stoves feels like a warm hug. The feel of the biggest pumpkin you can find, in your arms, with just the right stem! Picking apples from a local orchard and then going home to peel them to make applesauce and drying the peels for coating with cinnamon and spices for Christmas crafts or potpourri. Finding the perfect Maple leaf to press. Decorating for Autumn is so much fun. I don’t do the Halloween thing any more – our sons are grown and gone from the house, so I have pumpkins, leaves, copper ware, etc, out from October through November. BTW This month’s yarn colors are totally in my colorway spectrum! I would make a gorgeous blanket out of these hanks! Two weeks ago, I was brave enough to do peek-a-boo color strips in my naturally white hair. Colors? Royal Blue, Teal and Green! Sorry for such a long comment, but I do love Fall!!
So very beautiful. Just imagine the time spent turning these into gifts for loved ones.
Beautiful yarns. Fall to me says bight oranges and mellow ywllows with some red mixed in for that extra pop of colour.
You have the most gorgeous photos . . . and inspiration for your beautiful yarns.
Crisp feeling in the air. Cool mornings and evenings. Mellow feel to the autumn.
My favorite thing about fall…Getting to wear all the new sweaters, scarves, hats and shawls that I’ve been making all summer. Now all I need is more yarn to start on next years items. Hint hint…
My favourite things about fall are the wide range of burnt orange, red, magenta hues and starting to feel a slight crisp chill. Rusty warm colours dancing everywhere and i get excited about crocheting and knitting even more scarves and beanies! Though spring has just sprung here in Sydney Australia and its heating up fast, thinking about Autumn always makes me glad and brings about a warm, fuzzy, nurturing and comforting feeling.
I love the crispness of the fall air and the gathering of friends and family for the holidays.
All the beautiful colors, the crisp air , taking walks and admiring other neighbors flowers.
I have been feeling a little (lot) blue lately!
These colors remind me of peacocks back home in my village in India. This is gonna be my first Fall season in the US and in my life because the part of India where I come from does not have a fall/autumn season. We only have summer, monsoons, and winter.
I am looking forward to the fall season here 🙂
It used to be getting new school clothes, then traveling around in the fall to see all the colors. Now I really love that nobody asks me to stop knitting because I may be making their Christmas presents.
These yarn colors are spectacular! My favorite color palate! The thing I love most about Fall is the approaching holidays. Other than that, I’m happy to see green palm trees all year round in Florida. 😁
Fall is my favorite season, they are my colors! Burnt deep colors of comfort. Reds, browns, oranges, yellows and greens all happily mixed together.
My fave thing about fall is that it starts to get cooler, and the leaves start to change! Beautiful jewel-like tones in this batch! TY!
I love that it can be nice and warm/hot during the day but cool off oh so nicely for the evening. I also enjoy the smell and colours changing😊
I love fall. I love everything about it. I love the color, the scents, the food, the fairs, the quiet evenings, and the excuse to wear hand-knits 24-7!
Sweaters! I love wearing sweaters in the fall!
I love to go out the door early in the morning here in New England with a cup of tea, sit in my wicker chair and take a deep breath of the crisp cool air letting it fill my lungs and then slowly exhale and envision the wonderful things that will happen this day. The fall colors peaking between the green leaves, a bite of a crisp apple, the sweet herb smells of autumn squash roasting and warm soups on the stove just waiting to be shared later in the day with your knitting friends. The knitted memories you make, the sparkle in our conversations and the warmth of friendship are my visions early in the morning. Breathe deep.
Lovely giveaway. As ever, some gorgeous yarns in stunning colours. I’ve got everything crossed! 😉
I love the cool, crisp mornings and the delightfully warm afternoons.
I love the crispness of the season. I share more of myself during this season, even preparing Friendsgiving! A fresh blanket of snow is fleeting, but the falling leaves and smells and spirit of what is to come makes this season my favorite! And let’s face it, the jewel tone colors…aaahhhhh1
This season is my favorite because I bloom as an individual. Snow is refreshing. but it is fleeting. This season with the falling leaves and smells and my Friendsgiving gives me hope of what is to come. And the jewel tone colors…..aaaaahhhhh, bliss!
That delightful yarn is gorgeous! I can see so many projects! It really sparks the imagination and creativity! I love crocheting all year, buuuut, crocheting in the fall and winter is my favorite. Especially large, warm projects, while snuggled in my comfy chair with some warm apple cider!
Thanks Chandi, I love these colors!
I love the cool crisp air of Fall. It’s my favorite time of year. Those yarn colors are amazing!!
Thanks for the chance to win all that beautiful yarn. My favorite thing about Fall is wearing my boots with jeans and sweaters in the evenings. I love the cooler temps.
My most favorite things about the Fall season is cooler weather. I love to sit and knit with my project on my lap. It keeps me warm. I usually knit blankets or shawls. My On the go projects are chemo caps. This yarn is beautiful!!! Thank you for the opportunity to win this wonderful giveaway!!!!
Fall, what us there not to like, colors of alm kinds mingled with the sun light, then come the evening and bon fires and the smell of smoke. Everyone seems happier and has an extrea spring in their step. Not just the leaves but all the fall flowers, the grass stays so green and the spices of the earth. Oh Yea!!!! Apples, cinnamon, pumpkins, gourds and the birds alk come around. Bring it on.
The yarns in this giveaway are so beautiful! I love the color range. My mind is going crazy thinking of various projects that could be made with the yarn.
My favorite thing about fall is apple pie!
Also, I LOVE that pile of yarn; it’s my colors!
Beautiful yarn! Fall is my favorite season.
My favorite fall thing is sitting on the porch with the dogs, listening to a book on tape and the birds – while I knit
I love your yarns Chandi!!! Just received my most recent order on Tuesday. So I should start my world traveler blanket soon. Thanks again for all the loveliness that you create so we can all be creative as well.
My favorite thing about fall is the end of the intense summer heat so I can turn off the a/c and go outside and sit in the sun and knit or read and not get overheated
The best thing about Fall to me is, bye bye summer (heat, humidity, general grossness of weather!)!
Blustery days
Favorite things about fall – the scents (so different from summer), the colors, the cooler temps – I love being cozy, and you just can’t do that during a heat advisory!
The changing colors are amazing! The unbelievably beautiful colors of the leaves… the clear, vibrant blue of the sky. The mornings that are so crisp, clear and fresh. But then I begin to panic because I still have so much crocheting to finish before Christmas!!
Fall is cooking time! Lots of stews, lasagna, spaghetti sauce and meat pies to be frozen in preparation for the cold winter nights when you crave a hot comforting meal but don’t have time to cook it after work. And a few apples pies too! 🤤 mmmmm
My favorite thing about fall – hard to choose! Fresh apple cider, crisp clear air, time to pile on the fleecy clothes and quilts…its all wonderful, but I think my favorite thing is brilliant sunglow on orange, yellow, and red trees, with hints of purple in the shadows and chrysanthemums.
This time of year is my favorite. The Southern California heat is starting to wane, the nights are cooler, so I can get back to knitting!
What a lovely collection of blues! My heart sings. I love the fall. It is my favorite season. The vegetable garden is winding down, the kids are back in school, the days are cooler, and the bugs are fading away.
My favorite thing about fall is the cool weather. Sweater weather is the best!
I love the cooler crisp air, the beautiful leaves and bon fires in the Fall. It helps me to get in the mood to crochet warm garments. The yarn is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the cool sweater weather! I can sit in my favorite chair with a mug of hot chocolate and knit away. I’m a blue person and these yarns are just beautiful!
I have lived in New England (Massachusetts) my whole life. Autumn is my favorite season. I could never leave New England because of the beautiful colors of our trees, the chill in the air. The tourists visiting Salem Ma by the thousands to experience all the history of the witches, ghost and so many other historical places to see. And all the knitting of hats, scarfs and other warm clothing to keep the people you love warm and toasty.
I love the colors of trees changing.
Love the fall colors. We travel thru the state just taking in the cool air, and enjoy the changing foliage.
Just found you and did a quick look around and am excited about all the info and can hardly wait to check it all out.
Such beautiful colors of yarn.
Favorite Fall things: both my girls are September babies, no snow & back to school.
Fall means that special golden glow of light through changing leaves in the late afternoon, crisp evenings just right for handknits, and my birthday!
Beautiful yarns! Love the hues.
I love the cool crisp mornings, bundled up on the porch with a hot cup of coffee watching the world wake up. To see the grand ladies around me getting dressed in their finery, an explosion of color just on the horizon. For me fall is a time of wonder , a time to dream, and bask in the creativity of the land itself.
It is no wonder we fall in love, fall into an embrace …. fall what a wonderful time of year!
I like last warm sun on my skin, colour leaves fall from trees and longer evenings for knitting.
I love the cool nights, taking walks and looking at the beautiful changing colors
My favorite thing about the fall is that it is finally getting cool. I love sweater weather!
The beautiful, continuous changing colors of the foliage and the crisp, refreshing air.
Fall has a special feel to it. It’s when I most like to knit, bake, and have friends over.
Fall is my favorite season. Warm enough still to kayak and cool enough to start baking! And who doesn’t love a good pumpkin or two!
Around mid-August every year my husband and I are on countdown to October 1st, which we feel is the earliest socially acceptable time to start decorating for Halloween!
By the way, I missed notifications on the last two or three giveaways. Glad I got this one because those colors… wow!
The excitements for Autumn are: changing leaves’ colors, the fresh vegetables from the garden, soaking in the sun warmth as much as I can! Thank you for the giveaway!
Crisp days, crunchy leaves, sweaters…I love it all! Except that it means winter is coming and winter in Northern Indiana is snowy, cold, windy and long!
Autumn treads into the world softly, weeks before colors begin to change or the skies are empty of the birds that have weighed down tree branches and power lines as they’ve gathered for a last feast before heading south. There’s a faint quiet that swirls around the leaves on the trees, muting their rustling to something deeper, even while the leaves begin to lose the lively greens and reds of summer. And colors? colors are everywhere…The sky, as the weather drops out of the 80s and 90s into the 70s and (at night) 50s and 60s, can be one of the most brilliant blues, and the clouds some of the clearest white and grey that I’ve seen since last autumn. My favorite colors are rusts and oranges, reds like the leaves of an oak-leaf hudrangea can achieve, and the purples of the autumn crocus (which isn’t a crocus really but looks a great deal like one). But the very best colors are the ones that are clear in the early morning air.
I am outside a great deal, taking pictures of favorite trees, listening to the ever softer sonds of the world as it prepares for the great re-energizer that is Winter, the Grand Silence of the year.
Autumn stays with me the entire rest of the year, I think. And that is a particularly good thing!
I love meeting my new students, and how special it feels to be their very first teacher. Also, fall is when the summer drought ends, and the rain brings colorful mushrooms to the forest.
I love walking through the fallen leaves and the sound as I kick through them.
The cooler days, sweaters, fall color, everything pumpkin
The colors in the trees and the cooler air, especially for walks at night.
I love the crisp autumn air, and the fall leaves!
Love Autumn/Fall 🍂🍁Season my favorite and the best for knitting and crochet, and hiking in the woods 🍄 all the beautiful colors and crispy air, the smell of Autumn candles scents… the hot apple cider, autumn decor and we get to go pumpkin picking 🎃 … the memories I cherish playing with my young brother in the leaves🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 😊 Autumn🍁🍂Season so love 💗it. 😊
Going to Belmont Pumpkin Patch with my family is my most favorite thing about fall.
Goodness. September’s giveaway colours are all in my colour zone. Love them!
As for what I love about fall….
..fresh, ripe peaches..crunchy, sweet corn on the cob and new potatoes drowning in butter and dusted with salt..fruit pies made with Mom’s pastry..squash, pumpkin, ripe tomatoes and herbs from my garden..warm, sunny days and cool, starry nights..rain gently falling on the yellow poplar leaves..the maple tree at the edge of the lot on fire with colours of red, orange, yellow and green..(Canadian) Thanksgiving table decorated with fall leaves..a plump roasted turkey celebrating the harvest..the Canada Geese flying over head and floating in the river out front, on their way south.
I love the fall…
Well it’s coming into Spring here but I do like Autumn/Fall – cooler weather for us usually after hot summers and it’s the start of scarf wearing season!
This would be a great birthday present for me. My birthday is next week and I love blue,
Absolutely stunning colors and the best yarn around
Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler temps and being able to wear my handspun sweaters and shawls. I also love to sit on the porch and spin while my 8 dogs enjoy romping in the colorful crispy leaves! Anticipating winter.
… when it gets dark earlier and earlier!
I love all the different colors at the Leaves.
And walk my dog now it’s not that hot in the afternoon 🐾
I love going to the fair, sweater weather, and football. Also that yarn is gorgeous.
ahhh, What to do with Blue.
Love blues, they have a calming effect.
Think of looking in the sky, calm, relaxed, a few cumulus clouds and guess the shape.
Think of the oceans, reflect the blues of the various depths.
Blue is grea match for hazel eyes. wear Blue, eyes pick that up and reflect that.
I would be soooo Blue without this pile of blue tinted yarn.
I love the cooler days and nights. Not only do I knit more but I get to wear what I knitted!
Lower humidity!
Going apple picking and then coming home and baking apple pie and apple crisp! Knitting while watching football
Early morning walks in cooler air and watching the colors change. Cooking more oven baked goodies since I don’t mind warming the house up.
I recently purchased 4 skiens of the pearlescent worsted in Pink Pearl, Royal Grey, and Chilled to make the Etude Shawl No 6 as a treat for myself. My plan was to finish other knitted pieces I was making for others until the skeins arrived and I touched them. OHHH MY, so soft and what beautiful sheen. There was no way I could place them back in the bag and wait. I began the project that evening. I teach free knitting classes at my church – one men’s group and 2 women’s groups – I can not stop talking about the quality of the yarn, the beauty of the color waves, and the excellently written patterns. I had previously commented about why I like fall in New England but now Chandi I wanted to tell you how much I look forward to your emails during the week, the new patterns, the beautiful colors and your inspiration and positive thoughts you share with all of us. On this day of Remembrance it is important to recognize the people in the world who share positive thoughts and caring as you do.Thank you.
What I love about fall is the cooler air and being able to wear my knitted sweaters. The wonderfull colors of the leaves as they start to fall.
Love the feeling of a hand knit cowl around my neck or shawl around my shoulders, an opportunity that comes with the cooler weather – get to connect with beautiful yarns even while not knitting or crocheting – win, win!
Most of what I knit is blue. But, I LOVE Fall. I love the color on the leaves – when I get to see them. And, I love the cooler weather- much needed right now.
My favorite thing about fall is the colors of the changing leaves, apple picking, fresh caramels, more knitting inspiration and Perhaps most of all, a break from the heat!!!
I love in the fall how my son laughs on a windy day whenever leaves blow across the ground and he tried to chase them. Also, Autumn Wreath candles from Yankee Candle! ❤️❤️🍁🍂
I absolutely love how the colors of the leaves on the trees change into such a myriad of colors. I normally only like cool colors, except for the fall leaf colors. We have an interstate highway that is just completely lined with trees, and there is nothing more delightful than to just ride down the road and just see all of the beautiful foliage. I hope you read this and can answer a question for me. Which needles do you use? I am very curious as to which interchangeable needles you usually work with. Thank you so much. I looked for that information on your site and I couldn’t find it anywhere.
I mostly use Chiagoo interchangeable needles. ❤️
Chandi, all your colors are amazing ❤️
Almost all of the significant happenings in my life – good or bad – happened in the fall. Fall to me is a settling in for change, a time to relax and enjoy the last of nature’s warmth before winter’s chill, a time to wrap myself in a shawl made with Chandi’s beautiful, luscious yarns, a time to be grateful for all we have.
Fall is my favourite season, cool evenings, no bugs, wild mushrooms popping up underfoot, the glorious riot of colour in the trees, golden pathways of leaves winding thru the woods, the clean smell of the air, apple picking, carving pumpkins and of course….it is sweater weather! It is the perfect yime to knit wool….glorious wool.
Love the colors and the textures. Love your insight.
I love crocheting or reading in the evening and early morning by a cozy wood fire. Nothing better than snuggling with a dog or child (or not) with a good book and a warm blankie. Oh yeah!
My favorite thing about fall is fresh apples and apple cider.
Love it all. Cannot be more concise than that!
I love the changing colours of Autumn! So pretty.
My favourite things about Autumn are the change in the air, the frosty mornings, everything pumpkin and spiced, my birthday, Thanksgiving and Halloween are all in October and hot cocoa!
I love the cooler weather, some fresh rain it brings, and the beautiful colors the trees turn in the Fall!
I LOVE the Fall Colors though they aren’t always as beautiful in the city as in the country. I love the reds with the green spruce trees and the browns n yellows as they blend with the oranges…think Pumpkins. usually my fav colors are blues and violets with sand colors but Fall gets me every time. If you’ve never grown your own pumpkins you should just once Leave only 2-3 on a vine for larger and put a board underneath to avoid rot. I came in 3rd once in Peachland BC with a 300 lb (tiny next to the winner) Than donate it to a Ladies League if you don’t can pumpkin. Fabulous color for a cowl or scarf offset with a crème.
Fall has always been an exciting time for me. This year I am visiting England and hoping to see some fall could here.
It’s my favorite season…the colors, the scents, the sweaters…it’s the best time of the year!
I love the Teals and the color gradation. I live in the foothills of the mountains and the leaf change
can be seen either by hiking, or looking out back from my porch. Stop by and have a cup with me.
I love the cooler days and wearing more sweaters! More knitting and crocheting also takes place with the cooler days..it is my favorite season.
Fall…the smell of leaves in the air, the anticipation of new leaf colors each day and the promise of the need for wearing layers. It’s sweater time! Love this season!
Beautiful colors.
I would love to win!
Living in the southeast, I love the promise of cooling weather, and the opportunity to bring out my knitted shawls and wraps. We usually take our big vacation in the fall as well, so that’s just another plus!
Fall is my favorite season. The heat is over and the coolness in the air is so refreshing.
Beautiful!!!
I simply love the crispy sound of the falling leaves under my feet and the smell of wet ground!
I love that it’s sweater weather!
its shawl weather! I have so many crocheted shawls… cooler weather means that the shawls are out of their summer hibernation 🙂
I can’t find anywhere that lists how many skeins / twists are in the give away. not that it really matters. You are kind enough to give it away I’m not going to grip. I am just hoping its an even number cause a friend also entered and we have an agreement that whenever either of us win a giveaway for yarn we go splitzies on the bundle.
My favorite things about fall are the scents and colors. While the leaves changing is a wonderful sight, nothing makes me pause and take a moment to appreciate the world like a clear new-autumn sky. It’s such a clear, clean, and distinct shade of blue, that I only see in the early to mid-fall. I love the spices that begin to waft from those open windows – the warmed chai, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clover – and I’m reminded that it’s harvest time.
I love the cooler temperatures, the beautiful leaves, the crisp air but most of all, I love being able to walk hand in hand with my husband in the fall weather.
