So beautiful! You are so very talented 💕
I love your yarn!!
Knitting and crocheting have taught me patience! Seeing my completed projects has given me such joy and satisfaction!
Those yarns looks awesome. Love the colors!! Crocheting taught how to be patient and persistent.
Crochet has taught me patience and perseverance. That everything worthwhile takes time.
Mostly patience and I have a yarn accdiction!! Lol. I also found out I’m a better knitter than I thought.
Crafting has taught me how to release stress. I do a little bit after work each evening and it helps get rid of all the tensions from the day.
These are all so yummy and beautiful!
My crafting has taught me that just because I became disabled, I can still be productive and spread happiness with my creations.
❤️❤️
What I’ve learned……
After always saying I’m not OCD, I have to say that that is true except when it comes to knitting.
Crafting has taught me that you never know what you can do unless you try, cheesy, but true. ☺️
Knitting and crocheting have taught me patience. I have also learned to take my mental health seriously. I use these hobbies to relax and calm my nerves when things get too scattered in my brain.
Thank you for another generous giveaway. You and your team are wonderful.
Knitting taught me that I’m more creative than I thought 😊
I learned to crochet as a young girl, and loved it. I taught myself to knit over a period of years (much trial and error and frustration), and now knitting is one of my favorite activities. I find it relaxing to sit and make beautiful things with yarn, and I love learning more techniques as I enhance my skill. I also love sharing my love of fiber art with friends by teaching them to knit and crochet.
Crafting has taught me that mistakes can be a good thing.
Crafting and crochet specifically, have taught me to remain focused on the end goal and shut out distractions. Knitting has taught me I can do anything I put my mind to, as long as I don’t give up!
Crocheting has taught me how to be at peace within myself. It has also showed me that nobody starts out perfect and that making mistakes and having to things over again is how you learn and become better at it
Crafting has taught me patience. You have to work hard for your end goal, and sometimes things don’t turn out the way you planned. But thats not always a bad thing and you always learn something from it.
Knitting and spinning have taught me patience and that I am capable of more than I thought I could be. 😊
My husband always says, “You made that just from a piece of string?”
Yarn-crafting has taught me to remember the simplicity in life. That all one needs is two sticks and a piece of string to create something beautiful and functional.
Crafting has taught me that there are many ways and means to express my creativity and that there is always more to learn and experience.
Just one thing? There are several! It helps a lot when I have anxiety caused by my ADHD. I can just focus on the crocheting and then I am better able to figure out what to do next.
I learned that knitting/crocheting are my form of meditation, and that crafting really helps to relieve anxiety. 😊
One thing I learned with knitting is to always exercise my brain by counting and reading patterns.
Love the yarn.
Hopefully this time is my time to win, so excited!
Lesson learned from crocheting: don’t be afraid to make mistakes; mistakes can be fixed; if you don’t try new things, you don’t learn anything new.
yes
Crafting has taught me that one of my biggest joys–really my purpose in life– is to encourage others in their creativity. I suppose it sounds sappy but it is very meaningful to me!
I love this! I find this to be very meaningful. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Thank you, Chandi! These are gorgeous! Love your positive messages too! All the best!
Absolutely beautiful yarn!!!
Your colors are always absolutely beautiful!! I hope to one day be able to get some of your wonderful yarn, I hear amazing things about it! Crocheting and knitting has taught me patience and that I can take yarn and make something not only beautiful but useful! I love seeing my family use their hand knit/crochet items!
Thanks, Megan! Thanks for sharing.
It’s taught me patience! 😊
yes!
Knitting taught me I was good at more than cleaning.
❤️
Crafting has shown me calm, relaxation and peacefulness. It gives me chance to think, solve problems, and enjoy life. Happy crafting everyone xx
Thanks, Susan!
Crocheting has taught me that there is at least one thing I’m good at!
❤️❤️
Learning to knit and crochet has taught me perseverance. To start over and try again when I can’t figure something out on the first try. To not give up when things are going wrong. I used to just give up on things when I didn’t get them right away but I’ve learned through crafting that sometimes things just take a few tries before you get it right.
Such a great life lesson. Thanks for sharing.
Knitting has taught me patience, flexibility, a way to relax, and a way to exercise my creative side! It is my bridge from work to home and from home to peacefulness. And it’s brought me (via my LYS) a small bit of a social life in my hermity times.
love
I have learned with my craft of crocheting the love and joy I get from giving. I sell my products too but I enjoy doing things for the people I love. I even found doing a gift as a surprise and you see there face light up. That is the best! So I guess what I have gained most from crocheting would be love, joy, and the gift of giving. Even doing donations to people in need feels very rewarding. It isn’t about the money but about the reactions you get for your craft. That is what makes my heart full! <3
Thank you for sharing this with us. A lovely sentiment. ❤️
Crocheting has taught me that I AM an Artist! I AM Creative! I have a whole different perception of myself and more self LOVE!!!
Yes! You are a unique and special gift. The world is better off because you are in it. 😍
At a very young age crocheting taught me to be generous. I used to spend my allowance on yarn and make baby gifts for my moms friends.
Beautiful.
I learned a very important lesson when I began to learn how to crochet. Believe in yourself when no one else will. A coworker showed me how to single and half double crochet. Excited to practice, I made this rather large square that happened to be the perfect size blankie for my baby (3-4 y at the time). A family member saw my daughter with it and laughed, making derogatory remarks that were malicious and downright cruel. Although the experience was hurtful , it was motivation to keep going. I even taught myself how to knit and still keep an open mind to learning something new (thanks on the tutorial on the continental knitting). Although my little one is now a mother with a little one of her own, she kept that blankie and loved on it for many years.
Yes! This is a powerful lesson that one must learn. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Crochet has taught me to try new things.
Slow down, relax your grip, and breathe…
Crochet and Knitting taught me that no matter what phase you are going through, it’ll pass for sure. I started my journey with yarn when I was going through a bad phase. This hobby helped me look forward to the better things in life..
❤️
Knitting allows me to block out what’s going on around me so I can concentrate on making something with love. It’s very calming and gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Sure would look beautiful on my yarn wall!
Crocheting has taught me to continue to challenge myself and to not mind so much when other people think it’s weird or make fun of me for crocheting. It’s not like they’re really going to make me stop.
Your yarns are gorgeous! Crafting has taught me that there are not enough hours in the day to play with all the beautiful supplies that are available! A trip to the craft store or online generates more project ideas that I could complete in 10 lifetimes.
Hi, Chandi! Crocheting/knitting haven’t really taught me so much as shown me the perfect way to channel my creative energy. As a Pisces, we tend to be indecisive and have a tendency to not complete things because we love doing lots of things. I love reading but rarely do so like i used to because reading isn’t a creative outlet for me. It’s someone else’s creative outlet. You might enjoy that book but making something pretty with your own hands that others can also appreciate is way more satisfying. Knitting has proven that while i have vey little patience for certain things as i get older, I have a LOT of patience to knit, lol!
❤️
Knitting has reminded me to cherish the memories and skills I have of those who taught me, even when they’re no longer around. It’s also taught me to be kind to myself! In times of stress, there’s something relaxing about just being able to pick up a project and knit away the stress.
Lovely sentiment. ❤️
Crocheting has taught me to accept mistakes, that things can still be beautiful or functional if there are small imperfections. Crochet has given me an outlet for stress (though I need to learn to take breaks because I’ll sometimes wake up with sore hands!)
❤️❤️
Crafting has taught me to slow down and be in the moment. I feel like I run around like a chicken with her head cut off half the time so I need that reminder to stop and slow down. Most importantly that it is OK to relax and just be, even if it is for 5 minutes or 30 minutes. It is alright to just breathe and “be”!
Knitting has taught me to relax and to try not to stress too much. It has also taught me that I can teach knitting and crocheting to my daughter and my niece and how to enjoy how happy that they are when they finish a project. A family friend taught me how to crochet years ago, then i wanted to learn how to knit so I got one of those teach yourself how to knit kits. I had wanted to learn how to knit so that i could knit some of the beautiful knitted sweater patterns i had been looking at in magazines. My first full knitting project was a sweater for my 5 year old son and it turned out great so that taught me to not be scared to just go after what you want to do!
Crocheting has taught me a better way of dealing with my anxiety and depression. It has given me time to relax and just think and strategize my life. It makes m happy 😊.
Crochet has taught me that something doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, as long as it was made with love.
Crocheting and knitting has taught me that perseverance and ambition can bring up great satisfaction. I’ve come a long way since knitting my first stitch and it needed so much pain, ambition, determination and devotion that it has also molded my spirit not only my skills.
Knitting has taught me new skills and helped build my confidence with every successful project completed.
Knitting has broadened my social circle to include people I may not have otherwise met.
We have learned to focus on what matters and to leave drama at the door.
Crocheting taught me that I could actually be good at an art. Growing up, I was always terrible at all of it- drawing, painting, pottery, you name it. I can barely draw a stick figure. And then I took to crochet, and I’m actually good at it. Go figure!
Love the colors of this one. So bright and cheerful!
I love your beautiful yarn colors and would love to try them. Thank you for the voucher. This in an awesome giveaway.
I am retired and now I have time for crafting again. I enjoy making all your beautiful patterns.
❤️
Hi Chandi ! Words will be inadequate as to how this world of both fiber and creativity has changed my world. I’ll try …….. Friendships made through this AMAZING Communknity, Awarenesses : needing either contemplation or action, a LOVE and great appreciation of fiber , opening of creativity not explored. Crochet, knitting has given my existence absolute JOY and purpose . Still inadequately expressed . Thank you for the opportunity to bask in that joy. marcia
Thank you for sharing! Yes, the connections made through these mediums is a wonderful benefit. ❤️
Knitting and crochet have taught me it’s ok to make mistakes. I can tear it up, try again, and do better next time!
Absolutely!
Knitting and crocheting taught to me to appreciate the things other people make–whether they be for me or for other people. They have also taught me patience along with perseverance is rewarding. My craft also taught me about myself.
❤️❤️
2 things…
To let my freak-flag fly and not worry about all the people in daily life that make fun of fiber arts as “old lady stuff”
To make art everyday whether or not anyone else sees it as art. It makes ME happy and that’s what matters
Yes to all of this!
Crochet has taught me patience yes, but it has also taught me to stay with it to the end. It’s taught me to think outside the box too. Not every pattern is correct and sometimes you need to come up with something yourself. TYSVM for these giveaways Chandi, your generosity knows no bounds!
Love this!
Patience and concentration. Frustration at times, but love always learning things. I still haven’t taken the time to learn how to knit but have saved some of your patterns for when I am ready.
Yes!
Your yarns are so beautiful ! I cannot express the joy and sheer delight it is to knit and create something that makes strangers stop you and ask where did I buy it.
I always direct them to your web site.. They will never be disappointed with their purchase.
Keep up the wonderful work you are doing.
You have been blessed with a wonderful gift.
Thanks, Valerie!
“Crafting” provides the space for self-awareness and honing. Within that spacial mix of self-awareness and honing, learning from the success and failures. Smile at both success and failure. How they are handled matters. Frogging is only as painful as allowed to be. Completing a pattern is only as sweet as allowed to be. The silent lessons of yarning. 🙂
well said ❤️
Knitting and crafting makes me happy when times are hard and stressful. It has taught me that I am more creative than I thought, and that I don’t have to be perfect. It is a joy creating something and giving it to your family members and friends, and having them appreciate all your hard work!
This is a lovely sentiment. Thank you for sharing!
Knitting has taught me to have courage to try new things at least a little. Dare to go beyond garter stitch!
Love ❤️
Knitting has taught me patience and perseverance. I’ve also learned that it is ok to make mistakes, take them out, and start again. I call it practice!
I love learning new stitches and patterns, and I am almost ready to take the plunge and knit my first pair of socks! Send good thoughts!
You’ve got this! ♥️
Knitting has taught me how to clear my mind,, enjoy by the natural rhythm of the needles and the glorious feeling of the yarn passing over my fingers. Knitting puts me in my very own quiet place.
I LOVE to craft… paper crafting, knitting, sewing, journaling,LOVE IT. My mom taught me a young age how to knit and when I spend time knitting now, I remember how amazing of a knitter my Mom was. Not only does it bring up wonderful memories for me, but it is my calming source. Sitting with a hot cup of tea or a glass of sweet tea and just getting lost in the rhythm of knitting calms the beast withing lol.
Knitting has taught me that it is okay not to be perfect in the process and in real life. Too ma stitches? K2tog. Not enough? M1. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Love the colors on these yarns!! Love to crochet for charity and personal gifts.
My CraftWork -Crocheting- Has Allowed Me To Start REALLY TRUSTING My Own Instincts & InSpirations, Ideas & Designs I Get From WithIn/the Divine/My Guides & Protectors. I Have A Dezign/Pattern I’m Currently Working With that Came From 1 of My Guides.
Crafting has taught me that it’s okay to spend time on things that bring you joy.
Crocheting has given me a way to express my creativity.
I love knit and crochet but have yet to learn how wonderful your yarns are to work with, they look so very lovely.
What knitting, and crochet have done for me is to help keep me centered. After BUSY, hectic, days at work this is my solace, my zen time, I can find my center and my peace.
Hi Chandi, I never had many friends as a child or even now as a grown up, but I found I had the gift to make. I taught myself to crochet, sew, embroider at age 12. I started knitting about 2 years ago. The hours of pleasure making has brought me since that time has truly been a blessing. Most of the things I have made have been for others but the gratification of making makes me happy.
Thanks for sharing, Dorothy! ❤️
Creating anything with my hands helps tremendously as an outlet! Whatever stressors may be in life (whether positive or negative) creating something helps you focus on the task at hand instead of the “noise” of life. And as you are working through a project, you get to work through your troubles or worries or whatever. When the project is finished, you get to look at it and say “I did that”. And because I, personally, work through things as I am working on a project, I am deeply woven into the project. So when I gift it to someone, a little piece of me goes with them. My grandpa just passed away and I just got back from the funeral, and although I miss him terribly, I get to weave him into the next project I work on as I work through the grief. Doing any project by hand gives me such resolution. Am I making sense?
That makes total sense. I think you conveyed what many of us feel when we create. ❤️
Thanks for saying that. 🤗
I love your yarn so beautiful and vibrant, I’m so happy that I’ve learned to knit. I find it to be most relaxing and I like that I am able create things and share with my family.
In the past, it brought me closer to my grandmothers with crocheting, thread work &embroidery and making yo-yo’s. I loved when my Mom taught me how to knit. My dad subscribed me to the craft of the month kit when I was in grade school and I’d come up with my own too! Dad did paint by numbers on a TV tray some nights as we sat as a family watching TV; Mom would be knitting something! I’ve made Halloween costumes for my 3 sons from birth until they were too old to go trick or treating. It made me proud to create what ever they wanted and to see their very happy and surprised faces when they saw what I came up with. Now, I usually do projects alone, which affords me calmness and serenity; freedom for creativity. Though I do accompany my 27yo autistic son with his scrap booking – he does page set-ups and is super creative! He loves to draw, he cuts out shapes and things to glue onto the pages, combined with stickers and things he’s drawn. Crafting/needlework/knitting/crocheting, is also enjoyable when visiting with friends who are like me – having more than one project going at a time and loving to do more than one form of creativity too. There’s a feeling of pride in making something with my own hands – I took these pieces of ….. and did that…to create this! Almost magical. It is the real me.
