Hello, fabulous fiber friend! We have a beautiful new shawl pattern for you today. Introducing the Novello Shawl by Emily Walton:
Radiant, undulating waves in 2 contrasting colors. We used our Pearlescent Worsted weight yarn (2 skeins of Mermaid Harbor and 1 skein of Sterling Silver).
Don’t you love how it drapes over and hugs the shoulders? It’s comfy and yet elegant.Â
I hope you enjoy this! You can download it HERE.
Have a beautiful day!

Just joined your site, your yarns are stunning.
Thanks for also running the contests.
This is definitely a shawl I would knit, and I’m usually not a shawl person
Hi Chandi, I hope you see this and can help me with this pattern!
I’ve only been knitting for less than a year, and this is my first project that involves more than the basics. With the help of your videos I figured out the garter tab and first (stockinette) section. But Row 1 of the Texture Pattern section has me thoroughly stuck with the parenthetical instructions. I have the correct number of stitches to begin that first Texture Pattern row (79 total), but after the initial K2 & kfbf, the instructed stitches within the brackets did not come out evenly to the first marker.
Help!!! Would you please explain how to work it??? I searched through all of your videos but could not find any help there.
Thank you!

Happy to help! You’ll repeat the items in the bracket over and over until you reach the marker. I hope that makes sense!
