Simple, Classy and Wearable
•Designed to be easy to wear with nearly any outfit.
•Size and gauge aren’t important in this project.
•Beginner level. This pattern is ultra simple.
•You don’t have to worry about running out of yarn. Just stop when you’re finished!
•Use solid yarn as shown, or try out some of our variegated colors for some funk and interest.
•You’ll need a size E (3.5 mm) hook. You’ll want to be comfortable with slip stitches, chaining and single crochets.
Enjoy your beautiful shawl! You can wear it as a scarf, wrap it around and tie in the front as a faux sweater, or toss it over your shoulders like a shawl. Your choice.
I have to say, I am wild about this pattern. It’s stretchy and soft and so so so usable.
We were playing around with various ways to wear it and I was just stunned with the shape and size and ease of wear.
I hope you love this little beauty.
It’s great for all seasons, really. I love the vintage look of these shots:

Chandi
Hello, Chandi. I am a beginner to crocheting. I started almost 4 weeks ago. I use your videos, which are very helpful. Recently, I purchased 3 skeins of Oberon yarn and downloaded the pattern for the Secret Meadow Crochet Shawl. I am curious if this yarn will work with this pattern since it is different from the Superwash Merino Wool Resilient Sock you suggest. thank you 🙂
Hello, I have a question for you. I am just starting the shawl and have a question. I noticed “slip stitches” mentioned before the pattern however I do not see “slip stitches” listed in the actual pattern. Perhaps I am missing something? Any help is appreciated.
Andrea, it was most likely a mistype on the info page! Just follow the pattern as written. 🙂
