Here’s some lovely crochet inspiration for you today.
My friend, Emily, crocheted this adorable hat using one skein of our Superwash Merino Wool Silk Pearlescent Worsted Weight yarn (limited edition colorway: Mystery Book Club).
Is it not the cutest! Me thinks, yes. She also dyed the first batch of this colorway, btw. Gorgeous. I gasped when I saw how this yarn base took the dyes. Stunn.ING.
The pattern is not mine, of course, but can be found for free here.
I plopped it on for a quick photoshoot so you could see:
This can be whipped out in no time if you need a last-minute gift. That’s what I love about crochet. It’s so fast.
Or treat yo’self and make it for YOU!
And here’s the description of this amazing yarn base. It’s wildly popular with shades selling out faster than you can say fiddle sticks.
YARN – Superwash Merino Wool Silk Pearlescent Worsted – (50:50) Smooth with a gorgeous gleam
Sure to be a favorite!
MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it’s incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments. It has a lovely stretch and “memory” so it’s a breeze to create hats, mittens, sweaters, socks, boot toppers, blankets and virtually anything else you’d need some elasticity and bounce for.
MULBERRY SILK is a dream… it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.
~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.Â
•1-ply : For ultra shimmer and glow!
•Worsted Weight: Ideal for next-to-skin accessories or sweaters, sweet baby items, blankets and so much more. Great for all skill levels, even beginners as it’s a popular worsted weight thickness.
•Superwash Merino Wool – Mulberry Silk blend (50% of each) – hand-wash only for best results. Super soft like buttah, with a shine that just won’t quit.
•Yardage: 201 m/ 220 yd
•Weight: Approximately 115 g / 4 oz
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 6-10

Beautiful yarn! Looks great, too.
Hello! Is this the same pattern you posted on Instagram that had the cute button? I really wanted to make a hat like that. 🙂
Beautiful in the purple! How do you think these would work as chemo caps? Too short maybe? They’re definitely stylish. 🙂
Love the pattern! And the color is just amazing!! Thank you for posting these 🙂
