My biggest yarn giveaway yet! I’m going to keep this simple!
1. This month’s giveaway is THIS!
Tons of yarn. My own hand-spun rainbow bulky yarn. A felted cutie patootie bird. A gorgeous shawl pin by Michelle’s Assortment (plus you’ll get a 15 % off coupon to her shop), 8 oz of dreamy mixed BFL wool roving by the Ashland Bay Co, and an amazing bag to hold all your yarns, hooks and needles by the Nantucket Bag Co! (I have the pink and lime bag of theirs and LOVE IT!)
WHEW!
It’s all so awesome.
- The yarn is mostly wools, with some alpaca.
- My rainbow hand-spun was, yes, spun by moi. So chunky and funky.
- The shawl pin is beeeautiful and would look gorgeous worn with any of your hand-made scarves or shawls.
- The roving is creamy and smooth and amazing to spin.
- The bag can be zipped up either way, with the pockets on the outside or the inside. So functional. I’ve been wanting one of these for years!

THANK YOU CHANDI FOR SUCH BEAUTIFUL AND CREATIVE INSPIRATION…
i love all fiber crafts because working with them gives me a sense of continuity of those that came before; people playing with plant fibers, people figuring out how to knit with sticks, medieval brits learning about different dyes and spinning them into course cloth, and our ancestors knitting and sewing practical garments and to create objects of beauty.
Oh! how I would love to win :).
This collection looks so exciting and I love to knitt small unique items
Pick me
I love yarn because it’s cuddly and can be made into so many lovely things.
I love yarn because of all the possibilities it represents!
One of the many reasons I love yarn is because it is the one thing that does not tell me how or when to do my job, it does not back talk. It just sits and waits patiently for me to pick it up. It is so relaxing to pick up a ball of yarn and make something.
I love yarn running through my fingers. It is so calming and relaxing to me. The click of needles, the feel of the yarn, and then the finished project, all are just wonderful.
I love yarn because it is emotionally expressive and creative and the colors stimulate the senses and it inspires my creative bug.

My fave is angora and I particularly love the wispiness of it and the soft and delicate feel of it .. I get so excited when I see your stash of yarn and want to feel each thread of it and to simply stroke it and just put it to my cheek and just feel each strand of it … in fact .. I will stop there whilst the going is good!!!!!! Thank you so much!
I think I get the same thrill from buying & touching yarn as some women do shoes. It just makes me happy knowing that one day, I will create something beautiful with it & it constantly brings me immense joy knowing that I can. =)

I love yarn, it calms me.
Yarn is … full of promise. Full of possibility. When I have yarn in my hands I can set aside my problems and watch magic happen.
Yarn… why I love yarn… hmmm Let me count the ways or in this case the why’s…. Yarn or the working of mostly crocheting of keeps me sane. My life is well complicated to say the least. Yarn is the only thing through it all that has stayed positive, it is therapeutic, fun, meditative and can make me money! I can create, gift, sell or be greedy and keep it for myself (which I very rarely do). Very rarely do I get to play with quality yarn. I have been wanting to try my hand at spinning as well. I have purchased drop spindles, hand carders and a couple fleeces. lol Not so good yet but maybe if I had some ready to spin beautiful loveliness to start with……
Ooo almost forgot I did subscribe to the mailing list as well 😉
I’ve just discovered you & am excited to find lots of exciting fibers. Subscribed & liked you on Facebook! Would love the beautiful products.
I love yarn because I love knitting. Of course, now that I have discovered Chandi’s yarn, I love some yarns way more than others. To top it all off, yarn comes in incredible colors and I am all about the gift we have been given in color!
Oh yes please!! What an awesome batch of goodies Chandi! I love all sorts of yarn for all sorts of reasons. Love the sheen of some, the fuzziness of others, the strength and warmth of yet other varieties and then there’s the colors…the list could go on FOREVER! They all have their unique amazing qualities. So fun to figure out what each one is meant to become 🙂
I subscribed and I really want to win!
I love yarn and knitting and who couldn’t use more yarn. If my house wasn’t so small I’d get a spinning wheel and learn to spin! I did take a drop spindle class and that was fun so I can just imagine how much I’d like spinning. Plus spinning creates more yarn!

i love yarn because the warmth and fuzzy of it makes my heart smile. then i make something special for a pressie and it makes the receiver’s heart smile too then that makes my smile bigger. yarn can be as fun, funky, classy, chique, retro, or cumffy as the artist spinning, dying, or stitching it wants to make it. the beauty of it truly is in our hands.
I love yarn because it speaks to me, I love the colors, textures and mixing them to make unique things, whether it is a baby afghan that looks like a quilt or a weaving a blanket for my daughter to take to college with her. I love yarn because of its possibilities. I can do so much with a single skein of yarn…including just feeling it and admiring it. 🙂
The color of yarn hits right into the soul. Pastels so soft an powdery gives me a contentedly lovey feeling. Vibrant colors makes me feel like I can do anything, and bring so much happiness. Earthy colors, gives me that fallish feeling, of football, colorful leaves……well you get the idea. Yarn speaks to me, and I love the stories they tell, from socks, to blankets and baby booties.
Love, love, love all the colors. Would love to win, too! For me there is something almost cathartic about taking a long, straight piece of “string” and being able to turn it into a piece of “art”.

Goodness, Chandi – you have so many subscribers! Congratulations! No-one has done better, so when she requested one of my blankets -……the answer is a no brainer really. The blanket will happen, your beeeeeautiful yarns can only enhance it.

Ohh I so love this yarn n bag toooo. I’ve lost a lot of stuff when Sandy hit us on Staten Island, NY. We’re still digging out and Rebuilding and totally trying to knit items for others in need or my hospital I’m fighting cancer agin n bed bound. But I love this yarn n I so want to use these soft yarns for cancer patients and one lil Premie fighting for her life with hyproplastic right valve syndrome and Wolf-Hirshorn disease. It gives me hope to do for others that are in the same boat plus it helps with all my meds n relaxing n fighting my masses n cancer n diseases also. But no matter who gets this prize I know the yarn is loved Ty for letting me post. Have a safe happy fourth. Anissa.
I am really a novice to knitting, but I absolutely love it! I stumbled on your site thru Facebook and loved how you can hear the excitement when you describe your yarns 🙂 They are absolutely beautiful! Plus, I am completely jealous of the fact you are in Alaska. I have been in love with Alaska forever 🙂 I am not very good at knitting yet, but I am working on it 🙂 And, with your gorgeous yarns, even my failed attempts will look good 😉
I am signed up 🙂
Ooo pick me! Yarn is my therapy! There is nothing better (to me) than coming home after a stressful day at work and getting lost in yarn and a pattern. 🙂
I love the varieties, colors and the feel… So darn squishy ! Can’t help squeezing !
I did enter, and I love yarn because of all the ways it can express happiness, love, joy and warmth. Because of all the goodies you can create with it. Because there’s always room for another pair of socks.. Or a scarf… Or a hat!
Signed up. I love yarn because it keeps me sane. I have multiple sclerosis & deal with intense spinal nerve pain. Knitting & spinning helps to destract my mind from the pain & muscle spasms. Everyday I can knit or spin means I am still able to feel the yarn. With MS that can chage on a daily.basis.
I would love to win. I love yarn. Knitting beautiful yarn everyday keeps me centered and sane.
Oh yesssss…I want to win !
Yes I want to win that marvelous yarn. Yarn is my canvas. It is my creative outlet. Crocheting with beautiful colored yarn gets my creative juices flowing.
Hi Chandi,
I just finished watching your yarn spinning tutorial, you made it look so easy and I can’t wait as I have my beginner spinning workshop coming up on the 21st July and I’ll finally be able to put my great-aunty Netta’s spinning wheel to use, I inherited it 13 years ago now. It is so wonderful to be able to create things by hand, I love all things craft but I’m mainly into Crochet and I will be so so happy when I can make something from the yarn I spin which will have a story to it something commercial bought items just can’t offer. It will also be my creation and like noone elses anywhere else.

already signed up. Yarn has endless possibilities!
I am already signed up. This is a very generous give-away from you. Your yarns are beautiful and I love what I have already purchased from you.
Yarn=happiness! You can make whatever you want with it!
I love yarn because holding a skein is like holding an unlimited array of magical creations that haven’t happened yet. Others might look at it and see just string, but just looking at it starts that amazing creative process with the thought “That would look amazing as…”. Then you pick it up and the magic flows from your mind, through your body, into the hook or needle, and suddenly you’re holding an item that no one else has seen yet, and it’s beautiful, soft and special. The look on someone else’s face when you show them what has flowed from your mind into the real world tells you that you were right, it’s magic.
The yarns you create are an inspiration for me!
I love yarn, cuz it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling of all of the kind and thoughtful gifts I have given, and still want to make to give away. And I knit for moi now, as I have knit for many many before. And there are so many colours and textures to play with and so many new patterns to explore! LOL
Knitting is good therapy!
What an awesome giveaway! Anyone would be very fortunate to win this one. Thanks for the opportunity.
Oh yes please!! I love yarn because of the colours, the feel and the fact it is a blank canvas, ready to be made into something fabulous and unique. Pick me, pick me!!
I love having access to all sorts of yarns for the different colours and textures. I have a new granddaughter and am keen to knit/crochet some things for her (I already made her a crocheted dog) and my daughter is keen for me to help her brush up on her skills too.
Why I love yarn? What’s not to love? The colors, the textures, the fibers, and alllll the things you can make with it. I just love yarn for the yarn of it. 🙂
What a wonderful selection of great yarns and roving. I see knitted socks, hats and drop spindle demonstrations at colonial encampments. I sure would enjoy that zippered case to hold my grandmother’s antique needle collection. The smaller zippered case looks like a lovely way to hold all those fabulous little designer stitch markers, needle gauges and darning needles. The shawl pin is an absolute thing of beauty and would be worn with pride by whomever you choose to be the lucky one.
Yarn and knitting always take me out of self and into a creative mode of happiness. I don’t think about anything bad just let me fingers work and my heart sing with the wonderful project I am working on.
I love the texture and rhythm of yarn while knitting
I only learned knitting and crochetting about a year ago but it’s one of my favotites things to do. I love making wool slippers (i use my grandmother’s pattern). I also like using yarn for crafting. I make dresses for my dolls or cell phone covers, flowers and decorations….. It is amazing how many things i can make using just the yarn.
My knitting and crocheting relax me. Nothing feels better than a good soft yarn in my hands.
Yarn is awesome, yarn is great
There’s nought ’bout yarn that I could hate.
It makes you happy when you’re glum
So grab a ball and knit with some!!
Ta da!!!
I love yarn because it allows me to be creative.
That is a beautiful package. I grew up watching my mother knit, crochet, weave… I just have to have boxes of yarn around me. I can’t resist yarn. Someone asked me once why I kept buying more, even though I had boxes of it… My reply, “you just can’t have enough”. I always have one or two knitting projects on the go, especially on those long nights in the winter… Thanks Chandi!
All signed up! I love yarn because there are just so many possibilities of what it can become. Not unlike when new babies are born and everyone is dreaming about what they’ll be like.
I am always inspired by the endless possibilities of all types of yarn…this give-away will allow me to explore some more!
Is there anybody in this World who does not love yarn??? Impossible, isn’t it??? I never go anywhere without a ball of yarn and a hook! It makes everything so colorful and bright!
I wanna win! It’s the one thing which brings me peace.
I love yarn because it’s like a warm hug. I especially love soft and slightly fuzzy yarns. My favorites are angora and alpaca. I tend to crochet items for others. In 30+ years, I have not made myself an afghan – made several dozens for others.
I Love yarn because you can make so many lovely items with it…….. It also comes in a rainbow of colors……and who doesn’t LOVE a rainbow ?????
Your yarn is soooo faboulus.
I really love it!!!!
I signed up and look forward to seeing the winner! I love yarn because there is SO much you can do with it. My particular area of interest is crochet, but I love to see it in all formats! Being able to take a string and a hook and make something with it is a passion I hold true to in all I do.
I have already signed up. I would love to win so I can make some gorgeous gifts for my family. I suffer from depression and I find knitting relaxing and rewarding especially when you see the finished article and the smile on the persons face Shane they receive it.

Yarn reaches, touches and brightens parts that other crafts cannot reach! It brightens the sometimes rainy Scottish day!
What is there not to like about yarn… I mean it, feels smell & works into the most beautiful creations… Thank You Chandi for the chance… <3
I entered and signed up. Love yarn because there are so many different textures you can find. So many different things you can do with it.
Why do I love yarn?
Because it’s the colour of life.
I love yarn and knitting presents…I subscribed just today.
Of course I have already signed up 🙂 This is more than a love of yarn, it’s a passion for knitting, crocheting, of colour and creation of a unique piece of art. My name is JULIA and I knit ! 🙂
I love yarn it has given my life purpose. I am handicapped and have lost the use of my legs so crocheting has provided me with hours of entertainment and usefulness in my life.
Wow I just love yarn and having fun with all types of yarn. Love to explore new stuff all the time.
Wool is not fattening at least to me, personally. To my stash cupboard well, lets just say it’s getting a little bloated. Wool is a stress reliever. My first trip outside the hospital after my husbands double lung transplant was to the wool shop where I immediately put my face into a bin of alpaca and took a deep breath. Yes, I am a wool sniffer. My friends laugh at me but the calming effects of a nose full of merino have saved many a life..
I love yarn because of all the possibilities! My favorite things I’d have to say are the joy and calming I get from knitting with it and it keeps my kids warm! Creativity and one of a kind custom clothing for my kids! Could it get better?
Signed up! Being a tactile person I can’t keep my hands off! Yarn is so natural, it is like holding a handful of nature itself. Something inside me switches ‘on’!
I’m signed up! I love yarn because of the feel of it, the many different colors, and the joy it brings being able to create something with it.
I am a YARN addict & I seeing your BEAUTIFUL work only makes me love it more! I would utilize your yarn for something EXTREMELY special and one-of-a-kind! Thank you for such a great giveaway and please continue to spin & make such GORGEOUS yarn!! It is most appreciated! Blessings! – Marilynn
Hi Chandi ! I love yarn because some poeple like you make a hobby become a passion !
I’m already subscribed and liked on facebook. I love yarn because it will keep you warm in the winter. It’s my stress reliever as well as my addition. Signed up. I enjoy seeing how the same materials and the finished projects can look so different based on the individual creating the project
I love yarn because of its inherent beauty and the anticipation of the possibility of making something amazing with it. Thanks for the chance 🙂
why do I love yarn, so many uses, can knit, crochet, weave and sew with it 🙂
I’d love to win some yarn. One of the many reasons I love it is that people love to get a gift made especially with them in mind. Chandi, your passion for yarn and the beautiful yarn you create makes me want to make gifts for everyone I know
I love yarn because it brings color and happiness in my life 😀 And it keeps me from going insane with 2 small kids hehe

I love yarn because I feel soothed and excited by possibilities at the same time. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I walk into a yarn store. I can visualize what I can create with my yarn and knitting the yarn gives me joy and serenity.
Ooooh I would just love to win this. I wouldn’t rush into anything….. I would just love it and caress it until inspiration hit me like a bolt of lightning!!!! Then all you would see is a blur of yarn, needles and iridescent colours! 🙂
I entered and I love yarn. The color, texture, I love how it all comes together to make something beautiful. To give a gift that you made is priceless. and full of love.
Me please, waving and jumping up and down!
Why do I love yarn? What a silly question!!!
I love yarn!!! Why? It’s soft, squishy and sometimes scratchy and itchy. The colors and possibilities are endless. What’s not to love?!?
yarn can make so many beautiful thing the possibility is endless and I love that

I’ve signed up for the 2013 giveaway! I love yarn because since I started knitting, I haven’t needed to take my anxiety medication daily.
Yeah!!!!
Oooh so pretty! :3 I love yarn because you never quite know what you’re going to get.
Was amazed when it said you were located in North Pole, Alaska! I’ve actually been by there a time or two!
We lived in Kenai and Soldotna in the mid-80’s/early 90’s. We took a few roadtrips to see the rest of the state. Drove between Fairbanks and Tok a few times. Enjoy the fireweed for me, we don’t have any of that on the coast of North Carolina!
I have subscribed (FB & email) for a while now. Your enthusiasm for what you do is truly infectious! I love the versatility of how yarn can be used. Frivolous or practical, plain or fancy, so many options!! I am always amazed at the ways people think to use fiber!
Cannot live without it. Need a yarn fix daily.
I adore your yarn and it gives me energy and ideas to work on projects. I have never done as much knitting in the past but since I found you, I knit like crazy, as you know. Thank you. I would love love love love to win the prize.
🙂
I signed up! I love yarn because the possibilities are infinite with what you can create with it. The colors, the fibers, I love everything about yarn!
Yes I would LOVE to win — Shawls baby, shawls! Or just sit and feel it – it’s a texture thing. 🙂
New yarn is always fun to have. So many things to knit. Making knit projects to give away is good for knitters who luck out with free yarn…Thanks for another giveaway!
Would love to win! Love your blog and website. Although I have not tried your yarn yet, I am dying to! I have a long list of items I want to make and I know with your products they would turn out gorgeous. Also I would love to post some items using your yarn on my website, kinda like a show and tell! 🙂
Have signed up. I love yarn because it’s soft and fun to work on. With variegated, I love to see how it works up.
Yarn is soothing as I knit with it..the colors keep my imagination active. There is just something of the needles moving that relax me. I was once asked if I got bored..I laughed..they just had no understanding. So sad for them.
All signed up and ready to go!
What’s not to love about yarn? From luxurious to functional. Such versatility doesn’t come around often, and OH! the colors!
I’ve signed up for the giveway and have purchased and made a nice shawl and a pair of socks for my daughter with your yarn. I have a love affair with yarn and the amazing things we can create with it. I learned how to knit when I was just 4 years old with my grandma who died just a year later. I guess her teaching skills where really good because I’ve always remembered how to do it. Every time I knit or crochet, I just know she is with me in spirit!!! and helping me create something special!!! Its all made with love xx
I love the feel of yarn. Also love being able to create handmade gifts for family and friends. Working with yarn give me,a creative outlet.
I believe that a knitter can never have too much yarn, that’ why I would like to win. The more yarn and yarn types one has, the more vast the inspirations.
I love how relaxing yarn is, and how versatile. I am currently working on a sweater, and planning on making a set of fingerless gloves next.
I have been subscribed for a long time and love hearing from you! I guess I love yarn, but what I really love is YOUR yarn! I have never seen anything like it and would love to create my new season of cushion covers using your wool. I especially love the Peacock colours you showed us on FB recently. I’m in the UK and I can’t get anything like your product, enthusiasm or fun here 🙂 I would really like to win this yarn!
I love yarn because it helps me unwind plus I am able to make gifts with a whole lot of love and not much money.
I love your vibrant colours and how you blend them together.
Yarn is my constant companion. Your colours are just exceptional and I know would be a joy to crochet/knit with. I’m keeping everything crossed 😉
I would love some really beautiful yarn to get my creative juices flowing!
I signed up a long time ago….like you, I’m a fiber junkie. I love the tactile feel and what you dream of creating with that one special ball. You can never have too many patterns or too much stash. The only thing that’s missing is the right knitting bag and the time to sit and knit all day. 🙂
I just love yarn
Signed up for your July yarn give-away. I love yarn for a million reasons! Working with it gives me peace and serenity any time in a hectic day! I love to create things for others and myself. There’s always something new to learn about yarn, knitting, patterns, needles and all things fiber related. I will never tire of yarn!! Yarn makes me smile and I smile even more when the project is finished. I also have my first digital camera now and the first things I shot are yarn…;)
I love yarn because it nurtures my soul. And it’s less expensive than therapy!
Why wouldn’t you love yarn????
I’ve been a facebook lurker for a long time. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win. Yarn is what keeps me sane. It’s been a dark couple of years for me and when everything is changing and my favorite people and pets are now gone, I can always count on my yarn. Making things out of sticks and string soothes me.
I love a ball of yarn, but when I make it into something, I am amazed that two sticks and movement can change “string” into a beautiful item of substance!
My oldest sister taught me how to knit when I was 8 or 9. I still knit simple things, but have been challenging myself a bit lately.
Have never been able to buy expensive yarn, but make 200 scarves a year that I give away. How I would love to be able to make a beautiful item with really nice yarn. Am retired with limited income, but one day I am gonna splurge.
I signed up, although I’ve been on the email list for quite some time. I love yarn because it is full of possibilities, and it is soft and pretty.
i love yarn because there is an endless list of things you can make with it! (not to mention just working with it and the texture of yarn is a pleasure all of its own 🙂 )
I love yarn…all yarn. No one likes to go yarn shopping with me because I take hours. I have to touch all the yarn. That shawl pin is absolutely gorgeous, I would love it!
i love yarn it stops me from killing people lol 😉 x
I love yarn because it is magic. With simple instruments you can take, in the most simplistic terms, some string and make something beautiful and wonderful. Yarn allows me to also bring other people joy from things I am able to create.
I love yarn, because it makes me crazy and keeps me sane! And I sooooooo wanna win some!
Yarn is superior to therapy for SO MANY reasons.
I am signed up already. I love yarn because it represents infinite possibility. You can make ANY pattern, and have the world at your fingertips in terms of fibre content and colour 😀
I love yarn because I can see so many wonderful things made from it!
I love yarn because in times when you are waiting in line or at an appointment, you can do something while you wait, time never gets wasted. Then after time, you have something you have made worth while.
I love yarn because I can spend $10 going to the movies and that’s two hours of my life I’ll never get back, or I can spend $10 on yarn and have hours and hours of fun and when I’m done, there’s part of my life I can always keep!
This months give away is, as always, great! Knitting is my zen place. If I’m stressed to the max – knitting calms me right down to that great creative place.
Oh, Yes, I WANNA WIN! I love yarn because it’s already been through so much (growing, harvesting, cleaning, carding, spinning, and skeining) and still holds so much potential for so much more! My life has been like that, too. I’ve been through a lot, and yet there is so much more to come! So I have a kindred spirit with all things yarn and thread. I have learned to make many things with yarn to replace my lost income from having Leukemia and I am always looking for opportunities to make more beautiful things to enhance other’s lives.
And I DID sign up! Almost forgot that part. 🙂
I love naming your dyes!
Whoa! Lots of competition!
I signed up for the newsletter! Thanks!
All done entering! How can anybody not love yarn, soft, beautiful colors, functional and toasty warm or refreshingly cool! You can never have enough!
Yes, I would love to win!!! My favorite yarn projects are baby things….. sweaters, hats, booties, blankets, etc. Instant gratification!
I love working with natural fibers. I get inspiration from the color alone most of the time and I relish in the feeling of accomplishment when I see the finished product. Your colors inspire me greatly!
I love yarn because it helps me release my creative ideas and helps keep me sane while I am working with it. Its a great way to relieve stress and a way to help you work through issues/worries that are running around in your mind.
Why indeed would I sign up – Your yarn is da bomb diggity!!!! Love it and you and your story – You rock Girl!!!
I love yarn, it makes me feel closer to my grandma and my mom. Both.have been gone for several years. But when I’m making something with yarn I feel closer to them, they both taught me to crochet and knit.
Okay, signed up and ready to win! That bag looks amazing and the yarns all appear to be fabulous, so excited!!!

hi i just signed in … i love working with bamboo and merino yarn and baby alpaca …love all colors specially red , white and black thanks for this!
I have subscribed and followed you on FB for a while now. Much to my hubby’s chagrin I love yarn and I just don’t have enough. I spend hours looking at yarn online and buy some when I can. I even took a class on the chemistry of dye in the textiles department at the university where I used to work… 🙂
Wherever I visit, I cannot pass by a yarn shop…must go in and feel the yarns and buy some. Your colours are so delicious. My granddaughter wants me to teach her to knit (she is 7). Are your yarns only available online or do you have stores that carry them, in Northern Ontario (Sudbury). I would love to get my hands on your yarn
I expecially love handknit socks because they keep my feet warm as toast all 3 seasons. Because I’m diabetic my feet are extra sensitive to the cold while the rest of me is fine. I’ve knitted socks for my entire family as well
Very cool give-a-way!
I fell in love with yarn when I got married years ago. I taught myself to knit, then decided to re-learn to crochet as well. Both my mother and grandmother and several women in my family crocheted, so my cousins and I were taught to crochet when I was a little girl. I rediscovered yarn because I wanted to keep that connection alive with my future children, and to make gifts. So as the years when by, I learned to knit and crochet, and eventually my two children came along. Now I look forward to when I can teach my daughter the things I learned from this skill. Both my children love seeing the patterns and yarn that I use to make clothing and blankets. I love yarn because it also reminds me of the things that my mother has made in the past with skeins of yarn. Yarn makes good memories, and new ones. : )
I’ ve subcribed! I love yarn because all you have to do, is take a look or touch it and you instantly feel its unending potentials!
I love yarn because there is so much to do with it! You can crochet, knit, weave! You can make plastic canvas tapestries. I’ve been learning how to spin on a drop-spindle and I’m teaching my 6 year old grandson how to do it! I’ll be starting on the spinning wheel this month with a dear friend of mine to teach me. Win or lose, I LOVE this site and I love yarn!!!
I L-O-V-E yarn because it keeps me sane! Besides, I love to touch it and knit all sorts of cushy lovely things with it.
I eat sleep and dream yarn 🙂 It gives me peace and time to pray! Thanks 🙂
I started crocheting not too long ago. I love being able to create things with special yarns. The vibrant colors will set me dreaming and soothe away any drama that may be happening when the soft yarn runs through my fingers. I love drooling over Chandi’s yarns and creating unique names for her color schemes.
I love everything about yarn. But the colors are a real treasure. It’s amazing how you can have a pattern that seems incomplete until you have the right color for it.
Yarn is what helps me unwind at the end of the work day! Love Yarn!
I just love seeing all your wonderful color combinations. I want them all!

I would love to win this yarn it is so beautiful. I am having trouble signing up for this one, it just says that I am already signed up to this blog, would I like to change my profile. No I wouldn’t but I would love to win this yarn.
Thanks Chandi I love your stuff.
yarn is so awesome to make just great things from
I have already signed up. I have just gotten into the ‘good stuff.’ The expensive yarn, and I’m even learning to spin some. I would love to win some of your yarn.
From a small piece of stuff can come the most amazing things with yarn. From a piece of fluff, a vague idea, a hook or needles and suddenly there is something to feel, to touch, to gather in your hands or your arms, to wear, to pass on, to give away, bury your head in, to cry on, to laughingly throw at someone. I love yarn for that quality of something from nothing.
Yarn is so pretty to look at and touch and I can make things out of it to make people happy!
Yarn is comfort food that don’t make me fat (unless, of course, you paticipate in a yarn and chocolate swap on a regular basis). At my age, laying my face against a soft cake of yarn is much more acceptable than hugging a teddy bear.
i subscribed!! and i love the feeling, colors, and textures of yarn 😀 you can make so many beautiful things with it and possibilities with yarn are endless!!
As someone who is new to knitting (I have taught myself from the internet) I have recently discovered the delights that are hand dyed yarns, different types of weights and the combination of colours. I have found it so relaxing and therapeutic, that it has helped me enormously to recover from a long term illness and the recent death of my parents(no I am not using it to seek sympathy) I am constantly on the lookout for interesting and exciting projects.
So in answer to your question YES I want to win your stash so badly please please please pick me lol. Shameless I know but I badly want it lol.
I am already subscribed. I would love to be entered for a chance to win all that beautiful yarn! Happy 4th!
I love to knit and spin. Yarn opens the world of crafts – there are so many things you can knit to express yourself and for gifts for others. I even spin my dog’s hair…. I love Chandi’s yarn – beautiful colors and wonderful yarn.
Yarn!!! Who doesn’t like it? Those who don’t can pass it to me 😉 …. I love the touch (soft) and what you can create with it.
I looove this yarn because it is some of the best quality yarn I’ve ever worked with. I’d like to continue my summer of making Xmas gifts for my friends, by knitting gauntlets (ie. fingerless gloves) with the wool yarn in this giveaway! 😉
I love yarn because with it and a hook I can make and send love to family and friends, whether as a monkey mug wrap for my best friend, a baby blanket for a new Mom at church, doll clothes for a niece, a shawl for Mom or a sweater for one of my kids. And it helps keep me sane.
It’s so beautiful. Can’t wait!
I’ve signed up. It would be wonderful to win your beautiful, colourful yarn!

I love this yarn (and would love to win) because of the amazing colors you use. I have never seen such colors. Also, as a recent graduate, I’m pretty broke and fancy yarn like this would be the highlight of my stash since it’s yarn I could not purchase for myself for years.

I love yarn, and I love the thought that I can take two sticks and yarn and make fabric. My grandmother inspired me when I was younger, and I am always thinking about what I can make next! New yarn is very inspiring!! 😀
A yarn yarn 😉
I spent weekends with my Grama, who knit, crocheted, did needlepoint & sewed.
My 1st needlepoint stitches are immortalized in a ladybug still resting on my mom’s couch; I can pick them out 😉 The word Afgani conjures visions of the afgans by Grama, each in personalized 70’s colours, every member of my family had draped over their beds 🙂 I have a multi-yellows & brown (yes, 70s) afgan by Grama Helen, my Grama’s mother!
I spent days in Alice Maynard, the Madison Avenue knit shop Grama had an account at 😉 My 1st clothing project was a mostly granny square dress- white with oranges, of course 🙂 – that I wore to my 1st Grammy awards @10, with my Dad.
Altho my palette is now quite expansive- the red sari silk is my current indulgence- I am now adult-abled to develop my obssession. I use silks, coton, wool in mixed media pieces. One work in progress, a self portrait on a guitar, the strings are yarn & the feathered leather wing with also have the sari silk included.
Colour, texture, form & function. I am looking forward to learning to spin. I have carded & being shown how to spin…?can weaving be far off?
End of thread…
Bright Blessings, Chandi.
Thanks
Cayte

Hey, Chandi: I have entered. What do I love about yarn? It is one of the most beautiful, versatile things in the universe. Just think of all the different things you can make/do with it? My grandson has made a beard and mustache disguise. The young children’s department at the library uses the yarn I donated for all kinds of things from animals to those pictures that you weave laces through. I have crocheted many blankets and lapghans, pot holders, etc. I’m not learning how to knit. I’m sure you could add to the list of versatility. Even if I don’t win. I still love your yarns. I love yarn because it brings me happiness. The colors, the squooshy warmth of wool and alpaca, the smooth coolness of silk, the way it inspires me. It connects me with friends (some I didn’t even know I had til I met them through Ravelry) and family. Playing with yarn is something that keeps my brain from hurting too much during a migraine – if I pick a simple enough thing to do. In yarn I find inspiration and happiness. 🙂

I love yarn because it makes me feel creative, whole, and generous. I can pick up some needles and something gorgeous to work with and forget about the rest of the world, immersing myself in the making of a fabric. I can learn new stitches, combine unexpected colors, or do something I’m familiar with in a new way. I’m able to do these things to give myself excitement and fulfillment, even when the rest of the world is not being particularly dependable. And while I’m doing these things for myself, I can make other people happy, too, by giving them the “old-fashioned” gifts of my time and creativity. All because of yarn. Whoda thunk?!

I am no longer working because my disability has gotten worse. I knit, crochet, and tat to manage the pain and loneliness I feel. I hope to build my knitting into a small business that will supplement my disability pension and provide me with a real sense of accomplishment and self esteem.
I started knitting when I was five and never stopped. I’m 45 years old now and just love creating a wonderful piece of art for those I love.
I love to hand knit with natural fibers I love the feel of the material flowing thru my fingers If I produce something interesting great but it is the tactile moment that I enjoy

I would be a wonderful exited person, if U should give the yarn to me. I left my home country Sweden, to get marriage to a man from Africa, and I left all my things to a company that took all what was left in my apartment (that I had left back to my house landlord). When I emigrated to Gambia in Africa. I had known my boyfriend since three years back and when we met, we could see that we was working good together and then we decided that we should live in Africa for good.
I went back, only to get rid of my things and sell what I could and return to Africa for good. So when I went back, three months later I had almost nothing to save, including my yarn witch I gave my best friends children and they took care of it with their hearts and minds.
I have almost no money to live on for me and my spouse now. We live on my sickpension and still my spouse has not find any work to do. We had to return to Sweden since I got sick and the doctors I searched to get help with my ilness, MS and Cancer that had been removed by operation when I was young but still had to medicate for to not get new cancercells and they in Gambia did not know how to deal with that either and that´s why I had to return to Sweden and get help from my neurologic doctors and get a chans to move to a warmer country in Europe. Since my spouse do not have any permanent a permit because we had thought we could stay in Africa . So now we are here and it is so sad and we had to start all over with nothing in our home but friends and relatives has put together all they can so we have now a ground to start up with. I love them for everything they have given us so we could go back here. I love yarn too with all my heart and with my hole spirit and be so happy if I could get this yarns from You. I feel naked without yarns and still I do not have money enough to spend on it either.
I love yarn!! I love the colours and textures and it allows me to do something creative in my day. When I crochet or knit I have something to show for my efforts whereas with work (mostly paperwork) I never seem to accomplish anything, there is always more paperwork! Thank goodness there is always more yarn!
I love to work with yarn because it’s so relaxing. I do knit but prefer crocheting because it’s so easy to bring with me where ever I go. It takes my mind off of everything else in my life.
Yarn and Spinning are MAGICAL to me! I love the luscious colors, textures, and infinite possibilities with yarn. Knitting has been PART of me since I was eight years old! I would absolutely LOVE to win this fabulous package!!! 🙂 <3

Thanks!
I love yarn because it is timeless. Working with yarn can take a person back to ancient times (as I am often reminded while knitting socks and wondering what genius person figured out HOW to make a sock shape out of loops of yarn!), or take a person into the future, imagining how yarn will be used by their grandchildren, or if there will even be yarn-loving grandchildren! (I certainly hope the love of yarn carries on for many more generations!) Yarn can help us to portray moments in time, eons after the moment has passed. A hand-knitted blanket can be used over and over while remembering how much love and effort (and possibly tears/blood) were put into its making.
Plus, yarn is pretty. And if it’s not, I can always turn it into a pet toy and watch an animal tear it to shreds, or make it into something to give to someone else so I don’t have to look at it ever again.
Yes, I love yarn.
I LOVE YARN because as soon as I pick up a skein and project I can escape from any hectic, crazy day. It just makes me happy to pet yarn.
It is a tactile stress reducer to spin fiber into yarn. Each treadle brings rhythm to my life as I think through problems and solutions. The yarn I make is usually given to a dear friend, which gives me the excuse to by other yarn in glorious colors from people like yourself. Then I knit shawls and socks and sweaters that make me smile. I love fiber and yarn! Pick me please!
The reason I love yarn? See. Touch. Move. Create.

Thanks for this lovely giveaway Chandi. I have been signed up for quite some time. I love yarn of all colours and textures. I love to knit and crochet and I especially love the colours you have created with your yarn dying. I am so excited when I receive a batch of your yarn!
I would love to use that yarn and feel it between my fingers. It reminds me of the rich colors of the summer flowers and fruits. It reminds me of days gone by in my Grandmother’s Garden. As a kid, I used to climb my grandparents fruit trees and eat the delicious summer fruit. Who said Grandma’s spoiled kids. Mine gave me good foods and I worked for them LOL. I also love the colors as they remind me of colorful zinnias that my father grew. The butterlies loved them and I was memorized by the sight of nature.
Why I love yarn? Because the possibilities are endless. It excites me to see a brand new skien and starting a new project. The final product gives such great satisfaction and sense of accomplishment. Yarn lets you create something personal and that you can have a special connection with if you know what I mean. Yarn just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling.
I’ve been signed up for a while and find myself coveting your lovely color mixes … I love yarn for the possibilities I see when I look at an unworked skein. I imagine the joy the finished product will give someone when I present it to them (I give away many of the items I create … I think that’s the payoff for creating … making someone happy with what you’ve created!)
Love yarn so beautiful and can’t wait to see what you get especially with sock yarn love making socks

I LOVE YARN!!!! (Sometimes I’m tempted to just buy it and hang it on the wall!!!)
I love yarn because it lets me be creative in the way that I like. It helped me get through many things, including giving up an oral fixation addiction that I used to have. Yarn in all sizes makes me happy.

nothing like knitting thru your worries! The cheerfulness and energy in the ‘voice’ of this website is positively infectious! fantastic
Why do I love yarn? Well, there’s a bunch of reasons why I love yarn… For one, it is beautiful, soft, and each skein unique. Additionally, it truly makes me feel good. Sometimes when I see a skein I love or something that I love made from yarn, my heart literally skips a beat.
Yarn <3
ETA: I signed up! Forgot to mention that in my last post, oops!
Hi! I was already signed up for your newsletter <3
I love yarn because when I sit down to knit, even though I'm still learning and it's tricky, I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in the things I create! 🙂 I get so excited when I see a beautiful colour or texture (I so desperately want some of your FIG!)
I love yarn because it gives me an opportunity to create something that’s different while I’m supposed to be like everyone else at school and work. I love yarn because it has created friendships out of arguments, such as when I taught to girls in my class how to crochet. I love yarn because I can make others happy with what I love to do.
I love the feel of yarn in my hands. It’s so soft and has so many textures.
I love the colors of yarn, and all the fascinating possibilities that reside in each skein.
That is such a totally awesome prize & much needed here in Hobart, Tasmania – it’s in the middle of winter & I’m (brrrr) freezing!

Done! I am dying for a proper bag for all my needles!! That is an awesome addition this month.
Yarn is this amazingly simple thing that can become this amazingly complicated creation. It yields to the imagination of it’s creator, but holds it’s shape once it has taken one. It can calm the mind while it excites the senses. Yarn is a connection to our past as we continue on a craft that our ancestors practiced. And a connection to our futures as we provide cothing and toys for the children in our lives. Yarn is a magical thing!!
Thanks:)
I love yarn because I love making things with it!
I love yarn because it brought me and my mother in law together. Its one of the first things we connected on.
I love yarn because it makes me feel happy and brings a smile to my face! I still am amazed that with two sticks or a hook, I can turn that hank of beautiful yarn into something useful and lovely that will enhance my life or the life of someone else. I love yarn!!!!
Love your rainbow funky chunky yarn!!

This is an amazing giveaway Chandi!! Thank you!!!
I love yarn as my grandmother taught me to knit and every time I find yarn that I love and I knit something I feel she is with me.
Oh yarn. Love the color — the texture — the possibility.
I’ve signed up 🙂
I love yarn because it gives me something to keep myself calm and busy with when I knit and crochet. Plus it’s (sometimes XD) entertaining when I’m trying to knit and my cats/kittens decide they want to “help.” Always looking for something new to work with!
Yarn has been a part of my life since I was in the Girl Scouts. The yarn and learning how to crochet help me in a variety of way including how to work as a team with a group. We used to make granny squares as around robin project. We learned how to respect how each of us crocheted. Some of the girls were left handed, some held the crochet hook as a pencil and some held their hooks like a knife. We learned to accept the “odd” color combinations that some of the girls added to our square. We learned, how to learn, how to accept differences.
I’ve been following you on FB for a while and it said I was already subscribe, but I wanted to make sure…lol. I love all yarn…types, colors, sizes etc. What’s not to love? You can create almost anything out of yarn if you try hard enough. Crocheting and/or knitting is so exciting and relaxing all at the same time. I can pull out some yarn and feel myself destressing just setting while I’m envisioning what I am going to make or attempt to make. I have some, but I would love to build up my stash and I am on a fixed income so I don’t have much fancy or more expensive yarn. This would be so awesome to win!!!! It would make my day!!!! Good luck to everybody who enters and thanks Chandi for this giveaway!!!!

Hi Chandi,
I’ve already subscribed. Yarn is the start of an adventure!
1st grand baby coming, and the chunky rainbow would be perfect to warm a newborn in January!
I love yarn because of its limitless possibilities. I look at yarn like a painter looks at a blank canvas. I am here to bring that fiber to life, give it a personality, give it a purpose. I love to try new patterns, make gifts for those I love, and make someone smile. There is nothing better than having an 8 year old light up when you make her a hat. And her mom telling me that she wouldnt take off that hat for 3 days… Yarn is JOY and HAPPINESS to me!
I have blankets to make, crocheting is my thing, my babies will be warm, this cold weather I cannot take…to win would be great, the colours take the cake….

I love the colors, and the feel, and the smell, and the way yarn moves in my fingers when I’m knitting. I love feeling like an artist when I take a yarn and match it to a pattern, maybe try a few different swatches, and then block the finished article. And they make terrific presents!
And I am subscribed. Thank you for the lovely inspiration!
Yarn…I love the feel of yarn…I love the smell of a yarn shop…Yarn makes me happy…. Yarn relaxes me and Yarn is an outlet for productivity. I can make & give something without expecting anything in return. Just the joy o creating.
I just love the creativity and inspirations behind your color choices and would LOVE to give your yarn a try!
I’ve entered! I love yarn! I’m building my stash and all the goodies that go with it. I love fiber too, so that stash is being built as well. I love a lot of the textures, colors, smell…lol. I love the items that are made lovingly, even if under protest and under much grumbling, however many froggings, put downs and pick back ups, because once you give that lovey or afghan or wrap to that special someone, they have another piece of your love to take with them. And if you love to get yarn to give to your yarn stashing friends, they will think of you when you make that gift and a piece of your love goes with it too.
why do I love yarn. Well….. it’s yummy, it’s soft, it’s sparkly, it’s colorful (or not), it’s alpaca or cashmere or bfl or merino or maybe even silk – I can’t knit cotton…. but I will occasionally dip into bamboo, or I might be tempted by some yummy tencel or seacell or sugarcane or milk…. oh gracious. Why do I love yarn? It just makes me so darned happy I could dance (but that would take away time from knitting )
Wow would I love to swim in this yarn… Thanks!!
I already signed up, and I love yarn, especially if it is not acrylic. It feels wonderful and rich and warm and squishy. The colors can be vibrant or subtle and can make me swoon, smile, relax or sing and dance. I can make a simple scarf or shawl or be adventurous and create a unique shawl or socks or sweater. I can needle felt with it or adorn my hair, decorate my car rear view mirror or use it in my rug hooking. I love yarn!

I just signed up and let me tell you why I love wool/yarn.
I love the colours and the texture. I love the way it feels when I am knitting with it because it feels like warm water or warm sand flowing through my fingers. I love the way it smells, especially wool because it smells like it’s fresh off the sheep. I love how you can take the same yarn and knit it a bunch of different ways and each piece will be unique. Wool has so much potential and history wrapped in every strand. It reminds us of our past, present and future. That’s why I love it. Love it. Love it.
I love putting beautiful colors together to create something all my own!
When a package arrives from you it is like opening something so special. Always a lovely message and a beautiful yarn! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Thank you

I love yarn because of the endless colors and textures and possibilities. You can create anything your imagination can come up with. I’d love to win the July giveaway. Thanks for having such a great website.
I’m in! Spinning, knitting, & crocheting relaxes me. As long as I know I can handle yarn I can get through anything calmly. The tactile contact gives a non-drug high. I even have a magnet on my locker at work that say “I knit so I don’t kill people”. I must admit I don’t love everyone’s yarn – just yours! I have never ever seen such beautiful colorways. They are sheer magic! Thank you so much.
Whats not to love about yarn. The color, the feel, the fun and creativity it allows. It’s always there, never lets you down and can be forgiving or remembering. I love yarn.
I’ve entered.
I love yarn because it calms me and makes me smile. I knit because I can’t sit still (ADD) and the things I create make my friends and family smile. Also I would LOVE to turn that chunky hand-spun into a floppy tam for my mother. It’s just her colors.
I love yarn because of all the possibilities it has, so many things to make so little time!

Yarn gives me peace.
I love all the colors! Love making something for someone and seeing the expression on their face, and love hearing – You made this? – and being proud to say Yes, I did! 🙂
I’ve loved yarn since I was 9 years old when my mother and I learned to knit while waiting for my father to retire from the Army and come home from Germany. Mom taught me to be a touchy-feely person about yarn, and occasionally I find myself sitting in my stash room just playing with the skeins.
I just signed up! I just love it and I need it. Its my thneed. Anything I can think of I can make it with my bare hands. Yarn lets me express myself in everyway possible. It soothes my anger problem and it feeds my creative mind. Yarn = heaven that is all.
My birthday is also at the end of this month on the 26. This would be the most awesome gift to me if I won this. I wont even be able to celebrate my birthday this year because all of my cash will be tied up in bills that I help my family with. They wanted me to spend it on myself but I just couldnt waste it on me. Thats why this would be such a blessing to me that if nothing else i have the one thing I love more than a lot of things :). So please grant this little birthday candle wish of mine 🙂 I posted a comment here before of why I love yarn so much and forgot to put this thank you and happy choosing :).
Yarn? Love? Isn’t that the same? I’m retired now and can do anything anytime I want. Yarn is my passion, I just bought my second spinning wheel for $75!! Isn’t that amazing?!? An Ashford Traditional that was used for a decoration. It spins better than my Kromski Sonata (shhh, don’t tell the Sonata!!) You can never have too much yarn. I never win anything so I would love to win your beautiful gift!!
My motto is: Life is too short to wear dull socks!!!
Subscribed! Why not love yarn!!! It inspires me to create. what could be better?! 🙂

I love yarn. It makes great shawls, clothes mittens ,hats, scarves. It can be cool in summer warm in winter and always looks beautiful. I love the feel of it in my hands and I love the smell of yarn that has just been dyed.
Your yarn is absolutely gorgeous!! I would be so honored to win the give-away contest! Crocheting is a HUGE passion of mine! My “YiaYia” (Grandma in Greek), taught me how to crochet when I was 5 years old (I am 49 now) & I have continued to crochet & use my God-given talent faithfully! I am the only one in my family who knows how to crochet, which has now become basically an instinct craft. Not only do I crochet for the “less fortunate” or homeless, I also bake & cook for them every chance I get! Giving of myself has always been my biggest purpose in life & to be able to crochet something with the beautiful yarn you’ve created, for those who are in need, would be a wonderful gift! Yes, we can always go to the stores to buy the yarn, but when it’s made with the creativity & passion of one’s hands, THAT is truly incredible! Blessings to you all, JoAnna
Chandi your goodies are awesome and keeps me coming back for more!
Keeping my fingers crossed…..hoping that, one day, this gift will fly all the way across Northern America, across the Atlantic, and reach me, here, in beautiful Portugal.

I absolutely love to knit! It opens up a new part of me that wants to create, to spread beauty throughout my life. It helps me to relax and feel accomplished all in one. It helps me feel productive and happy, like I’m not wasting time when I need to take a break from normal work.
Please, I love yarn!
And yours is especially cute!
I signed up! 🙂 Hmm…why do I love yarn? It is my escape and distraction from the stresses of everyday life. When I walk into a yarn store, I am inundated with with several sensory items…the feel of the different fibers, the copious hues of color, even the smells of the fiber and dyes. Once you choose the perfect yarn for the perfect pattern, the process of creating the final object becomes an obsession. The process, thrill, and pride of completing a project is why I love yarn.
Hi, I’m already registered, but I’d like to tell you that I too have loved yarn all my life. My neighbor, Ms Green taught me to knit when I was 6. All the other arts came later. I find it inspiring that the art of yarn creation is passed from one friend to another, from a mother to her children, from a neighbor to a young girl and there is always a love of yarn and of each other that is shared. I’ll never forget Ms Green and will always be grateful for her patience.
I love yarn because knitting with it keeps me from losing my mind! 🙂
I’ve *always* liked to make things, and I’m 51, so that’s a long time. What I like about yarn and fiber arts in general is that there is SO MUCH that can be made in SO MANY ways, yet there is always something new to learn (or new to me). While I have picked up and later dropped many crafts, I never seem to tire of creating things with fiber and especially yarn. Perhaps that’s because it’s easy to integrate fiber into many different and related crafts, so a fiber stash can used a multitude of ways.
I’d love to win the July 2013 giveaway.
My Nan taught me to crochet when I was 8. For as long as I can remember the feel, the texture and the colour of yarn has given me tingles! I can’t cook or paint, but yarn gives the opportunity to create something beautiful and colourful. I’ve requested that my stash be buried with me. Seriously!!
WHO DOESN”T LOVE YARN?!?! I love yarn though, because it allows for massive amounts of creativity and love to be put into an individual project.

I like your offerings and have loved following you journey :>}
Love yarn as knitting keeps me sane in this difficult world and just love creating little masterpieces all by myself.
I love yarn, especially unique hand-dyed colors. I have quite a stash that I use to knit gifts or to share with knitters. When I made my first knitted scarf in grad school, I bought the most beautiful (and expensive) yarn I could find. I believed that such an investment from a grad student’s budget would motivate me to actually complete the project. Needless to say, I tapped into my inner yarn snob. I like to share high-quality yarn and needles with beginning knitters. I think the it is just more satisfying to have something that feels good in your hands while struggling with that first swatch.
I’m learning to crochet things I need. Many people have given me their leftover yarn just to see what I come up with.
Just signed up ! I love knitting, I feel so ….useful !
yes, of course I want to win!! who doesn’t love surprises.

Completed all three things that you ask for, also the reason I love yarn and colors is wanting to see the finished garment or scarf or blanket and how all the colors blend together and that my daughter like what I made and I think of other things to make with yarn, the softness it feels in my hands and how It relaxes me and keep my hands busy and looking at what I completed that really puts a smile on my face.
my daughter moved back in with us for a bit and has picked up crochet again. my stash is dwindling. rapidly. help.

Yarn has a special place in my heart because it saves me from the pain of my chronic illness and helps with the myriad of mental health difficulties I have by creating a safe space in which to exercise my creativity.
I guess the reason I love yearn is because it reminds me of the good times in my life that my mom and I truly connected. As she was showing me how to knit and crochet she would tell me stories about my grandmother for whom I am named and about her childhood. I love yarn because of all of the lovely things it wants to become- mitts, hats, shawls, socks
I am loving yarn because I am a NEWBIE to the whole knitting sha-bang! And wide-eyed I am enjoying each different type of skein, colourway, hand crafted loveliness. The scope of possibilities is almost infinite and the potential to make beautiful creations for each of my three little boys thrills me! The textures of various materials (merino, silks, alpaca, etc) makes me appreciate wool, not as a “scratchy” substance, but as a “buttery” sensualness and I hope that in my learning of these ancient crafts I too can do it all the justice that it deserves 🙂 Keep up your beautiful Art. I really enjoy your updates and expressions xx
I learned to crochet at age 9.I started experimenting even then making up my own patterns. My grandmother gave me some patterns for doilies, borders, etc from the 1930’s and 40’s when I was 20 and that hooked me for life.Carpal tunnel and arthritis took it’s toll and I gave up for around 10 years. Then I thought maybe crocheting again will help(I still can’t do my small work again, but getting better).Recently I injured my spine and am limited as to what I can do,so I pulled out the yarn stash, googled patterns and got busy.I still tweak most the patterns I find.Just love to make stuff with yarn.Trying to lern new things like looms, knitting and felting.Love your stuff, truly an inspiration to me. 🙂
I would love to win some of this gorgeous yarn. So much can be made from yarn and I love the challenge of finding an item to knit from a certain yarn. I always have at least 4 projects on the go at any one time. Love your page. keep up the good work.

I love Yarn. Nothing more relaxing than picking up a crochet hook and some yarn and then the satisfaction of finishing a project.
I have a yarn obsession. I simply love it. I think it’s because I see endless possibilities when I hold it, just knowing that simple skein or ball of yarn could be anything with just a little help from my hook. The more yarn around me, the happier I am.
From the cutie creatures that provide us the means to the end, to the first caress in the shop, the anticipation of finding the perfect pattern and the first cast on. The feel of the fiber and the rhythm of the stitches, and the satisfaction of a project finished, the fun of making something unexpected from all the little leftovers we so carefully hoard. I love them all, from thrift shop finds to the unexpected treasure found at a wool fair, to the mission driven quest at a my local yarn shop. The endless possibilities of colour, texture and the fear of frogs and running out of that last ball as you cast on that last sleeve! I love them all…the and wonder how I would ever manage to stay sane if there was a world wide shortage – all I can say is that I am so glad that I have a stash of a few {thousand} balls in the basement!
I too have crocheted for many years, but usually using the yarns I could find locally, like at Hobby Lobby or WalMart. Lately I’ve started buying a few yarns online and OMG it’s true-you get what you pay for. So I have increased my yarn allowance money. I’m truly enjoying hand dyed yarns and all variations of yarn out of the usual for me. I’ve given away a LOT of yarn on my blog, but never won any. I’d have to do my happy-happy-joy-joy dance if I win this one! Kidding aside, my long time love affair with yarn has matured recently (as have I ) and I’m afraid I won’t live long enough to enjoy all there is. (Dawn of new phobia!) Simply put, winning would be blissful. I want it with all my might and think its about time I won something.
Love yarn. It lets be create things to keep me warm and keeps me from watching too much TV. 🙂

Anyway, I love yarn, it can become any color, so many fibers, and when cashmere runs through your fingers as you knit up a cloud of softy fuzzy perfection. It is also my Aunt’s fault as she taught me to crochet when I was 5, it has been an addiction ever since, and it’s legal.
Also, it is my BIRTH MONTH..so how great would it be to win!!!

so with compulsion I reach for my ‘knits and bits bag’
and with needles and yarn, off I go.
Like a junkie I’m hooked, I surf the web
seeking yarn from far and wide,
and to every knit site or blog that I find,
I absolutely MUST subscribe.
Orders made and projects set
finish one then start another,
Those who do not understand,
ask me why I bother!
Parcels arrive and with baited breath
like a child opening a Christmas toy,
I go to my warm, fuzzy happy place,
when I get my hands on new yarn…..what a joy!
MUST……….HAVE…………YARN!

Why do I love yarn? Yarn is magic. Yarn is what you (Chandi) make with your own creativity and love of colour and dreams for a bright future. You send it out to the world as little jewel-like skeins bursting with potential, knowing that with the added love, passion, pride and a little pixie dust of imagination that each of us offers, amazing, wonderful things happen in our hands. Is that not magic?

I buy every color Chandi dyes, it seems, except the yak — and who knows if that will be in my future?????

The feel both in hand and on cheeks, the squooshyiness (my own word) The colours that are subtle, or bold, jewel toned or pastel, lace weight or chunky so many choices with an unlimited number of possible projects. The joy it brings when a finished project is worn and loved and treasured, they all bring joy to my heart!
I love that you show the dyeing process and how low tech your drying process is it simply an organic and loving experience. I so hope to be able to create with your super fantastic fibers!
I’m signed up. I just love your yarn its so creative there’s nothing like it in the uk. I tell all my knitting friends about your beautiful yarn. I knit for friends and family and rarely for my self although I did treat myself to some of your rainbow sock yarn to knit myself some socks for winter.
Yarn and creating with it is my passion. It is better then anything else in the world when your at home and cannot do much of anything else.
I love yarn cause it gives me an outlet to express my creativity and add beauty to my home all in one package 🙂
I love yarn. Always look for yarn no matter where I go. Planning on retiring here soon and trying to stock up before I retire and then I can sit around and use the yarn and make stuff.
Yarn is my therapy 🙂

yarn makes me happy try to knit some everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i signed up. Love to make gifts for others, either crochet or knit.
Your yarns are beautiful! I learned to knit as a young child and recently have purchased a knitting machine, which is a bit more complicated than I expected; however, after many hours of challenging knitting, I am much more comfortable with this new art form. I adore beautiful yarns. If you are going to spend all the time making an item, I firmly believe you should make it with a yarn that is special and not typically something you can purchase in a store. Always make it “one of a kind”. I just found your website and look forward to receiving your newsletter describing all the beautiful yarns you are dying. Congratulations on following your dream!
Ginny Higgins
I love yarn because it is so versatile.
I signed up! And I’d love to win cause I can’t afford much nice yarn, and your rainbow yarn is super pretty, and I imagine it’d be gorgeous to knit with. Also it’s a super cutee bag! So please pick me? 🙂
New yarn is like a gift waiting to be opened, I like having its colours and textures around just to inspire me. Right now felting or fulling is my favourite activity.
Thanks Chandi for another great giveway, here’s crossing my fingers for a chance to win 🙂
I just signed up – the bag would be amazing to have and use. I love yarn for all the textures, the colors it offers. I love to create a project and then use it or give it as a gift for someone else to use and enjoy. It’s therapy for life’s stresses!
Yarn makes me happy! When I am surrounded by really beautiful yarn, I go into sensual overload with the colors and textures of the different fibers. When I knit with a beautiful skein of yarn, my mind just goes to a peaceful place. I can’t describe it, but knitters know what I mean.
I crochet and knook because it is fun and relaxing
All the colors yarn comes in and the different textures make me smile.
I am a subscriber and I love yarn, because it takes my stress away. I have osteo-arthritis and fibromyaliga and working with yarn helps me relax and meditate.
Why do I love yarn? Working with yarn is the easiest way to calm down, cheer up, make something for others, or make something for yourself. All are good and beneficial things and in many cases, cheaper than therapy.
I have subscribed and I am addicted to yarn!!!!
What’s not to love about yarn?? Soft, touchable, textured, variable.. and you can make so many things with it. My preference is always afghans, but I totally love what others have done with it in knitting, etc. Just love yarn!!! And from what I’ve seen, you do too!!
Wool makes me happy. I knit with love and give with love. I love the look on my friends faces when they see what I have made for them 🙂
oh the places you can go with yarn and the things you can do are endless. yarn is like a library, stuffed full of imagination. pick me, pick me. PLEASE.
Who could imagine all the possibilities from a “string” of different weights, fibers and colors. It just keeps giving. Brings joy in discovering it, joy in knitting and joy in giving as well as receiving something that someone had taken the time to make just for you.
Soft, Squooshy, pretty, warm, keeps my fingers BUSY; what is there NOT to like?
In my teen years and I love to crochet. While girls my age would spend their money on clothes and makeup, I would rather spend it on yarn. I love yarn I mostly crochet with acrylic and wool, but I would love to try new fibers.
Subscribed and now I get to see all the great stuff you post.
I am a follower on instagram and love your stuff. Would love the opportunity to hold it in person! Thanks!
I love that you are boldly going where you have never gone before, and that you make yarn that way, too! You and your yarn and your attitude are wonderful additions to the wonderful world of knitting and crocheting that I have recently fallen back into. Thank you for giving me a soft and lovely place to land!
would love to win this wool
I love yarn because it delights the sense of vision and is wonderfully tactile.
I submitted – I love yarn because it is amazing how versatile it is. I love the compliments I get on items I have crocheted, and I love challenging myself to try new patterns.
I love the beautiful colors of your yarn, and was inspired by your story.
I love yarn for so many reasons but mostly because knitting or crocheting with it, having it run through my fingers, and the rhythmic activity are all so soothing… and when I’m done, I’ve got a wearable piece of art or a portable hug or a tangible expression of my love for someone.
Oh yeah – I forgot… I also signed up!
I signed up. I love to knit. I was born in Minnesota and lived in a Swedish community as a child. One day a week the women would get together and knit and eat a potluck meal. There were few children my age there and at an early age I was introduced to knitting. These memories have been mine for over 65 years and now the joy of teaching granddaughters the art of knitting, the love of yarn and the joy and peace of mind you get with yarn and needles for a lifetime. You bet I want to win this prize so I can knit and become familiar with your yarn.
i do want to win! working with yarn and cotton and silk and anything else i can wind around a crochet hook keeps me from screaming. i have a stressful, hectic life and yarn calms me down and helps me focus ( and also tune out the “noise”).
Signed in and I love yarn including bags of any type to add to my collection!
I love yarn because it keeps me happy and occupied. If I don’t have any to work with, I tend to get depressed and sad. Crochet is my creative outlet, so when I receive new yarn, I’m pretty much a kid in a candy store. Yarn is a part of my life.
Oh and btw, I have signed up. 🙂
I totally want to win this one, I’ve been admiring their bags for ages!
So I’m going to use one of my birthday wishes to see if I can win this set!
Yarn…how I love thee,
Your soft, and dreamy, and posess oh so many

Creativity you can tote anywhere and can seriously create anything your little heart desires and whatever your imiganiation can dream up 🙂 Chandi, so looking forward to getting my hands on your yarns!! Looking fwd to seeing your next dreamy colourways!! Too exciting!
I love yarn – I love the wool, alpaca, bamboo … I love endless color combinations that yarn can offer when knitted up. It’s so much fun to play with different yarn and colors!
I signed up! YAY ME! Since I knit and crochet, I would love to make gifts for others. The colors of the yarns are lovely. So many possibilities with the yarn!
I just signed up to receive your newsletter and would love to win this yarn! As to why I love yarn…well, honestly I’m not sure “Why”….I just know that I love it. Maybe it’s the versatility or the ability to be able to take a “mess of string” as the hubby calls it and make something useful, pretty, functional, etc. out of it.
All signed up!
I love yarn because it was something i grew up with. I remember my mother knitting and crocheting. Now, my sister and I both enjoy knitting and crocheting. Yarn brings peace and enjoyment to my life.
I love yarn. My mother was an incescent crocheter, so I’m sure I get it from her. All the colors that are available now is incredable. And the choice of patterns is endless. I get very excited when I start a new project.
I have loved yarn since I was a little girl. My mother was an incescent crocheter
Oh, how I love, love, love yarn (and I have a stash to prove it that you just wouldn’t believe). For me it provides me with “sanity”. Love the textures, colours and the creativity it brings out in me. Would love to win as I am convinced I can find room for just a “little bit more” to drool over.
I would love to win this. I love to crochet things from afghans to jewelry.
I signed up and it was such an inspiration to see your beautiful yarns. For me, yarn provides so much pleasure and opens up many senses to make life so much more enjoyable. Yarn is very spirtual, sensual, wonderful. Gorgeous yarns are just pure joy!
I’ve signed up! I love yarn because it helps me express my creativity!
Yarn is many things to me. It’s a beautiful tool used to create anything you can dream up. It’s a tradition and a memory, in that I feel connected to those long passed while knitting or crocheting. I still remember sitting on the davenport (lol) in her living room making my first chain. Although, my doily making skills have dwindled. If I could just figure out needlepoint she would be very proud. It’s therapy in pretty colors. A way to reduce stress and calm the mind when it feels like I’m just about ready to tell everyone exactly what I think about everything.
I signed up too !! Would love to win this yarn,, i have never knitting with luxury yarn b4 and i just got laid off so it will be a long time b4 im able to afford something like this !
I love yarn, cant watch tv without making something with yarn <3
Yarn is an amazing fiber! I love it’s variety. I wish I were talented enough to spin my own. I’ve begged my husband for a couple of Alpacas…one day we shall see! Until then I can only live vicariously though those invested in this beautiful art. I’ve only been crocheting and knitting about 6 years, and have just now grown confident enough in my own skills to start to dabble in a few of the richer fibers.
I spin, weave, crochet and am planning on learning how to knit. My son would like some socks for where he is stationed. He is going to experience snow for more than a couple of hours. I’ll be creating a lot of warm things to send to him.
I have signed up!I love working with yarn because it takes me to a place where I can quiet my mind and it gives me such a big satisfaction when I finish a project!
Hi Chandi
I love yarn because it helps me make beautiful items , like sweaters , socks, shawls, a great gift for my grandchildren or my aunt, or my two beautiful children. Yarn can keep you warn in the cool summer evenings or the bitter cold of the winter. I love yarn because it has so many uses, and can make so many people happy and warm. I would love to win this because I am truly passionate about knitting and that my Birthday was yesterday July 23rd, and I love that bag and all the yarn.
Thank You for the opportunity your friend
TerryLee Diemert

Yarn is so versatile! Yarn owns Teh Craft World!
I am crotching and doesn’t know this yarn. Its a nice way to introduce it in the Netherlands!
I entered and subscribed. =o)
Yarn has helped me so much. You might ask, how can yarn help? Well, I have had 3 surgeries on my hands and wrists. Crocheting prevents my hands from getting stiff and hurting. Every store I visit, I go right to the yarn section, trying new yarn is so fun for me!
I LOVE YARN SO MUCH I SLEEP WITH MY STASH.
I LOVE YARN SO MUCH MY STASH IS IN A VAULT.
I LOVE YARN AND KNITTING SO MUCH THAT MY LAUNDRY PILES UP TO THE CEILING.
well.. what more? I LOVE YARN.
It says I am already signed up, so here goes:
I love yarn for the following reasons:
– creating it is cathartic. I find when I have a bad day that spinning some wool or other fiber into yarn is relaxing and helps ease stress/tension.
– knitting or crocheting with it is also very cathartic. There’s nothing more awesome (for me) than sitting down on the couch to knit something out after my son has gone to sleep for the evening, especially since my husband is not around a lot and there isn’t much to do where I live. Very relaxing/stress relieving.
– It allows one to express a certain level of creativity. I don’t mean just through choosing colors or projects to knit, but with coming up with completely random stitches or new ways to use the yarn.
Bonus: Why my cats love my yarn:
– It tastes good.
– It’s fun to play with.
– It’s colorful and comes in a million different varieties.
– It’s fun to toss across the room or roll a round with.
– Finished projects are warm and comfy and we like to lay in them (my cats, not me).
😛
i love yarn!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not done with my stash but i want moreeeeee
I have signed up for your page and I love crocheting to give things to friends and relitives. So much fun suprising them which would be good for me to win this so I can suprise someone special!
Signed up!
…Thought a _lot_ about this, and there’s definitely not enough room in this li’l box to say why I love yarn…
I’m a colour/texture/structure person, (not necessarily in that order – _that_ depends on my mood!) and find every option, from Froghair to Floofy, from neutral to Glitzy and Fabulous, has its own special place in my heart/on my looms/needles/etc.
I signed up and would love to win this great July 2013 giveaway.
Your yarns and dyes are beautiful. Love to crochet as well
As my new found love of knitting. Enjoy working with
Yarns that are luscious to work wit as well as wearing
Them been working socks as of lately but finished 4 sweaters
This last winter.
Looking forward to enjoy seeing your posts.
Vina
I love yarn because of the possibilities. It can be anything. I love the texture, the beauty, the history. I am a textiles ner, I think
The colours are inspiring
Yarn allows me to forget about life for a while. Sit back, choose a pattern, choose a colour and off I go.
The colors and textures allow me to express myself in whatever I choose to make.
Hello, my name is Nikki and I am addicted to yarn, so I signed up 🙂
signed up, the colors are fantastic.
I signed up. There are so many reasons why I love yarn. Mostly it is because I see a world of possibilities in each skein of yarn and also because I like to think about what materials it is made of and how it got to me.
I started crocheting when I was eight years old. By the time I was in high school I was saving my lunch money for Aunt Lydia’s rug yarn at .35 cents a skein. That was a very long time ago and I’m still saving money for yarn because crocheting makes me happy!
I cant justify BUYING yarn right now because of the size of my yarn collection BUT…if WON it…then its ok to bring more into the house! 😉
Already signed up. 😀
I love yarn because it’s pretty and soft and doesn’t judge me, even when I make the same mistakes over and over again.
I’m in! Yarn keeps me dreaming!
Signed up! I love yarn because of the endless possibilities and the way it encourages us to think outside the box and how creative you can actually be. There’s no limits to what you can create. The array of colors and textures, the different weights. I usually have so many wips because I always have these ideas for all the different types of yarn. Lace shawls and chunky mittens. I’d love to win! I love yarn! I’ve recently depleted my stash by donating a bunch to a women’s shelter and some to a friend I just taught to crochet. Pick me please! That bag would be perfect for my daily commute!
I’m such a yarn junky. I always want more because it’s so fun to make stuff!
Love your stuff it all makes me smile!! Would love to win some as at the moment finances prevent me from indulging!!!!
Hello I signed for your newsletter
I love Yarn and I am slowly starting to make crafty things again, I love making dolls and other creative stuff mostly drawings and paintings, but I love yarn, as I love books, physically, I love the texture and the colors, your colors are amazing, there, a bit of rambling but voilà 😉
I have entered and am subscribed to your mailing list. I so love yarn, the texture, the colors, knitting them into lovely garments and the joy if giving them away to family & friends.
I love yarn because it fills my senses. Great yarn not only looks beautiful, but feels wonderful to work with. I love to squish and smell yarn and just take it all in…
I would LOVE to win this! I own a very small yarn shop and business is almost non-existent! Something new in my shopp would maybe bring in more customers or I could keep it for me and make something to sell in the shop!
Yarn is like my “toys”. Its so versatile – like building blocks. I can make so many things with it. It stretches my creativity.
I love yarn because you can leave your stress and worries behind and create, create , create anything you want. It’s my go to therapy!!
I’ve just signed up! What is not to love about yarn, you have so many colors & textures to choose from. I love the ability to change the look of a project just by changing the kind of yarn.
I love the colors of yarn and how they blend with each other. Oh, I might as well admit it I just want the security of knowing I have plenty in my stash when I want to start a project. I think I have a problem.
I SEW WOULD LOVE TO WIN THIS!!!! AND….AND….AND….I LOVE LOVE LOVE YARN! Just am in process of teaching myself to knit and winning this would BE AWESOMELY YARNSOME!!!! LOVE YOUR YARNS!!!!
I LOVE YARN BECAUSE YOU CAN MAKE SUCH BEAUTIFUL “WOOBIES”!!!
I signed up and hope I win! I love yarn! 🙂
Already signed up. I love yarn because of the way it feels. I love the colors and I love being able to create something wonderful out of a straight line. 🙂
Love your yarn the colors are beautiful!!
I’ve signed up because yarn is my passion – I’ve been caught going to stores and squealing over sales in the yarn section, I knit and crochet, and I’ve recently gotten into dying and spinning my own yarn. Even if this remains a hobby, for me, its the most fun thing and following other people’s yarn stories inspires me 🙂
I signed up! I love yarn because it helps me use my talent to make something that I can give to others and make them smile.
Yarn is the perfect healer. If I am fortunate enough to win this month’s giveaway, I’ll use the yarn to make booties and hats for our local NICU.
Thanks!!
I signed up, too. Love knitting and quilting, yarns and fabrics. It’s been socks, socks, socks for the last couple of years, but am half-way through a cardigan, and am planning another maybe with that cool Succulent yarn of yours.
My addiction to yarn started when I was about 10 years old. I made a Turtle with my Nena and never stopped. Now 23, I crochet every day. I have picked up a pair of knitting needles here and there, and I am learning how to spin yarn. It’s a wild, wonderful adventure.
I signed up. I love yarn and I love hand-spun, hand-died, long slow color changing yarn most of all. Figuring out what pattern each yarn is dreaming of being…there is nothing more satisfying than taking string and making something beautiful. I love yarn because, to quote Wheat, I always “Enjoy the Making”.
I love the feel of yarn as out goes through my fingers, all of the colors and watching a project come together!
Yarn fulfills my passion to create something from simple materials. I love to make things for others and for charities. I even get requests from friends and family to create something special just for them. Working with yarn also keeps me sane. I am disabled and kntting and crocheting are something I can still do and it brings me great pleasure.
One can never have to much yarn, or totes for carrying a project. I’d love to add to my collection and dream of what wonderful items I could make and gift to my knit-worthy friends.
Color, texture, unending possibilities !!! That’s why I love yarn:)
i just love how you combine colours which i normally wouldn’t mix together. they always make me smile and cheer me up when i am feeling down.
I love fiber arts. I sew, knit, crochet, plus other types of fiber arts. Right now I’m learning to felt and have just received my first fleece. It is black and silver. I plan on making a nice fabric. From there I have plans to cut out a garment and sew it to show it off this fall. The roving is beautiful and is something I could easily use to put into the garment. And of course the yarn…I love yarn and always have multiple projects in process. And I’m a bit of a yarn collector. I have a bin with single skeins that were purchased just because I loved the yarn.
I love the versatility of fiber and how functional it is. I don’t know of any other art/craft/hobby/obsession =) that can be as useful!
Yarn gives us the ultimate freedom. It can become anything. It unleashes our imagination and our creativity. It allows us to make beautiful things to share and be recognized by our friends and family for the fiber artists that we are. Yarn is one of the building blocks of my creative life.
I love yarn because it allows me a creativity that I need in my life. Also it is cheaper than therapy and way cheaper than a defense attorney.
I am all signed up!!! I love the yarn i just received from you!! Kalidascope!! I decided to make my sister in law and shawlette!!! I keep kniottting just to see the different colors!!! Thank You!!

I would LOVE to win! I don’t think I’ve ever won anything LOL and to win yarn would be the ULTIMATE!
signed up already!!! i love yarn because… well it’s yarn. I’m a married woman who works 4 jobs (i know i’m glutton for punishment), and on my days off (the one or two a month i get) i sit on my couch with my 4 cats, 2 dogs and my husband, and work on knitting, crocheting and tatting projects to relax. i always have 6 projects running at the same time ( a different one at each job and one “travel” bag as well as one for the couch at home). i find it’s the only thing i look forward to during my day for a little solitude and relaxation. i sit with my projects in the breakroom and let my mind wander on a little mental vacation as i work with the strands
working with yarn is my therapy, and i can do it anywhere!
I love the feel of wool going through my fingers with the soothing click of my needles while knitting. It’s like mental yoga for me and there is nothing better than offering a hand crafted item as a baby or birthday gift. I feel I am giving something special which shows my love and care for that person.
I love the possibilities of what the yarn could become. I love the softness and the texture. I love to imagine what I can do with it and then make it happen.
Yarn offers so much to admire – the color, hue, sheen, weight, hand, halo, slubbiness, etc. I refuse to allow a shop to “ball” my yarn – I want to feel it, get a feel for it – the springiness, the loft. It whispers to me as I wind it, sometimes changing my mind about the originally intended project. It also brings my son closer as I talk him into holding the hank/skein. Yep, this 74″ adult male now goes yarn shopping with me, asking questions about fiber content, weight, notions, and “Mom, could you make…?”
Oh, Yes, I WANNA WIN! I love yarn because: it’s a stress re-leaser, encourages creativity, warm, fuzzy, cool and of course I have a yarn addiction! I can never have enough yarn!!
Yarn is therapy, and sometimes we really need therapy
I’ve signed up and would absolutely love to win the July give away. Your yarns are just fabulous and my goodness that bag is to die for, so useful. I’d be the envy of my Knit and Natter group. Xx

There is nothing more relaxing and mood altering than sitting down with natural fibers and creating something to share with someone does not craft
I’m signed up!
Yarn, it makes me think of endless possibilities. Like a slab of marble sculpted into a masterpiece. I often hold a yarn in my hands and ask it….what would you like to become? Ah, the creative process is amazing.
Wool!!!… great look and feel, texture, comfort, durability and heat!… I love that <3
I am so addicted to yarn. I have enough to open my very own yarn shop, but still it isn`t enough. You can never have too much after all. I love it all colors the wool is my favorite but I will use it all up one day. You never know when there will be a yarn shortest. My biggest fear is that hoaders will show up at my door step and take my beautiful yarn away.

I am addicted to yarn. Yarn was always in my house and a part of my life. Not until several years ago did yarn become the beautiful artwork it is today making it so hard to resist.
You can tell a lot about a yarn dyer’s personality by the colors they chose. Bright colors tells me the dyer is a happy person. Muted beautiful color combinations tells me the dyer is contented and confident. Yarn tells a story even before it’s made into a garment.
I’m signed up. I love yarn because I can create so many beautiful things with it!
I love YOUR yarn–a gorgeous selection.
What is so amazing about yarn is infinite possibilities are in the palm of your hand. One hundred people could be given the same color/brand of yarn and do 100 completely different things with it, but every one of them is beautiful and special. I love yarn because of all the infinite possibilities of the things you can make with it! There’s actually a branch of mathematics called Knot Theory that just looks at all of the different ways string can get tangled. Our tangles are beautiful and orderly, but seriously! It’s so complex it needs its own branch of Math!
I love yarn because I can take a skein or 2 and make something beautiful out of it. I love the softness and the colors.

I love yarn because I can make whatever I want to with it. I make sweaters and hats and scarves with yarn. I make gloves and fingerless gloves with it, too. Right now, I’m on a bath mitt kick. I use cotton yarn for those and hope to make up some bath sets with a bath mitt, a few tea light candles, and a small bar of soap to sell.

I love the giveaway. I love all of your yarn. I am in absolute love with your rainbow sock yarn… I have been ogling it from afar. So manyh beautiful yarns…
I love yarn because it is so much fun to pick out interesting colors and patterns with my daughter, and then watch it all come together!! I also love wearing or using my pieces and having people ask, “Where did you buy that?? It’s beautiful!” and being able to tell them I made it myself 🙂
I am a yarn lover ! Any new or different yarn to try makes me very happy!
I have signed up! I love yarn because it helps me to create objects that show the love I have for my loved ones. I enjoy making and giving my finished projects to my older sister to show how much I appreciate and love her. I also love the variety of colors that yarn comes in. I’ve noticed that the variety of colors in which yarn comes in can easily be compared to every living thing. The variety of colors shows how people and animals can be different. The crafting of yarn and turning it into one whole product shows how people and animals can connect to each other, form relationships, and help each other out. I have read an article about how people have knitted sweaters for penguins during an oil spill. This goes to show how yarn and the knowledge of being able to craft/use the yarn can be helpful to animals and living things in need. By knowing that I can be a part of this someday makes me glad that I know how to crochet and use yarn to bring joy to another living thing.
Btw, I love that felted bird! I showed it to my sister and she went crazy over its cute, round body! For some reason, I’m going through a bird craze right now. I have crocheted two birds so far. One of them is an owl, which I gave to my sister since she seems to have taken a strong liking to owls and owl patterned objects. Thanks to you, I am now looking into the craft/art of felting wool. Thank you!
I love yarn because I can create something really special and unique with it 😉
Yarn is beautiful; yarn is yummy. Just looking at the chunky yarn made my fingers itch to dig into it. I so want to win. Yarn is magic – a piece of yarn and a stick and you can make all kinds of things. Please, please pick me!

I signed up too! I love yarn because with it I can make pretty things, useful things, things that make my family smile, things that make me happy!
I’ve signed up! 😀
I love yarn because it is a beautiful way to bring happiness to others. Whether I’m making items for my family and/or friends, or donations to charity, yarn is the best way for me to do this.
I first noticed knitting and crochet when my grandma moved into an assisted living home. Several of the ladies would gather in the common room, and using yarn donated to the home, they would make blankets and baby clothes for charity, as well as blankets for other residents who were sick or in hospice care. I loved to watch them work, and I was so touched by their generosity. They were, and still are, such an inspiration to me — not just in yarn arts, but also to to use my abilities for charitable means.
Of course I want to win. Who doesn’t want yarn, especially free yarn!!!!!
I signed up and would love to win this! I love the feel of the yarn as it slides across my fingers when I crochet. I love to see how beautiful a project actually against my vision when I started the project. Great colors and texture in yarn make memories. I have blankets crocheted by my grandmother which remind me of her each time I see and feel them. Yarn is a visual and textural part of my world.
This is a wonderful package! I love yarn and everything you can make from the glorious fibers! Scarves and cowls are what I am currently addicted too, as well as slippers.
I love yarn, the colors, the feel and sometimes the smell. I knit, crochet, loom, Tunisian crochet that I learned as being originally afghan, but now is Tunisian crochet. I hope I win, I need to start something else.
Yarn makes me happy

I love yarn because it is a tactile wonderland to the body’s senses.
I didn’t want to miss this, thank you so so much! I do love yarn and the feeling of accomplishment as I make something for myself or as a gift. Mostly yarn brings back the best memories of my Mom who passed away 12 years ago. She taught me to knit and she so loved knitting, especially socks, mittens, and sweaters!
Yes I want to win!
I want to win Yarn etc!!!!!!I love yarn because it helps me to relax and wind down daily. I also have been meeting with the same ladies ,we call ourselves the “Knitistas” every Saturday for 2 hours for the past 5 1/2 years. We barely miss a week. We knit (of course) , snack and laugh a lot. Again the yarn brings us all together.

I play with yarn almost every single day 🙂 From the cheapest that Walmart carries to the best I can afford at the time and they all make me happy. I live to knit! I love yarn and am always adding to my stash. I currently make my living teaching knitting and knitting wonderful things to sell. I would love to win the July giveaway!
I signed up and I love yarn because it’s my escape. Before I was able to knit, my stress got the better of me and I felt self conscious. Knitting not only has helped my stress level, but it makes me feel confident because every day I create something, I learn something new.
I love yarn, for many reasons. Can’t wait to see what an item will look like when done. The warm feelings and smiles I get from all my kids and grandkids when they put a hat,or scarf on that I made for them. Nothing better than that! I am just learning to knit so I am addicted! To much fun and relaxing.
Heck yes I would LOVE to win!! I have been planning and planning and saving to buy your yarn to make myself or husband or my boys a sweater. Why do I love yarn? This sounds corny but here it goes … my mother knits. I grew up with her knitting. She taught me the basics when I was about as old as my son (he’s 7), so I would knit a scarf or hat. It was great to make something original that couldn’t be bought in a store. For a long time I didn’t knit or crochet, probably because I was a teenager and constantly fighting with my mom but now I am a mom. I find myself feeling a bit closer to her and going to her when I get stuck or in trouble with a pattern. I guess what I am saying is knitting, crochet and yarn brings families together. I am signed up in case I forgot to mention.
why bother I probably won’t win anyway..;
signed up and I love yarn because its so soft and yummy not to mention all the awesome things I can make with it!
I really want to win this yarn so I start my Christmas presents!
Signed up. 🙂
I love yarn because it’s the medium in which I can be most creative. Every scrap, every yard and foot and inch can be useful in some way. I can put together colors, weights, textures, stitch patterns and many more variables to create something beautiful and priceless, worth hundreds of dollars in time and materials yet mine to freely give away.
I guess there are other reasons as well, but that’s the one that stands out to me most.
I just started crocheting and it is so addicting and relaxing! Hours go by and I start something new! Im getting pretty good! Lol
I signed up!
I love many kinds of yarn.. I love the feel, the texture… I love to see a project take shape from my needles or hook… I love the feeling of creating with fibers & my 2-4 knitting needles or my crochet hook…. it makes me happy…. 🙂
Just squeaked in on the last day! Phew!
I love yarn because there are so many variations, textures and colors. A smorgasbord of feelings for the senses! Soft and squishy, thick and thin, colorful and natural and different types even have their own smell. I can collect skeins to marvel at, feel, trade, sleep on (hee hee), catalog, etc. It’s fun to research the various types, reviews by other knitters, and pictures of stash’s before I decide on a purchase. The best thing hands down though is that I can make something useful & beautiful with my own hands for myself but most times for others. Yarn takes up hours of my time everyday because no matter what I’m doing with it, knitting, caking, or researching it for a purchase, it calms my world.
I love yarn, cause without yarn my life would be over!! LOL!! Just kidding! I always have spent as cheaply as I could on yarn and I have never owned any such yarn, beautiful yarn like yours! I just could never afford it; not to mention I never was good enough of crocheter or knitter to feel I was worth it. Now I’m getting better and I will be buying good yarn, really good yarn like yours from now on! I just don’t know enough I think. Please pick me Chandi!
I love to create beautiful things for my family and friends
Crossing fingers 🙂
I have entered…yay! So excited and fingers are crossed. What’s not to love? The colors, the textures, it’s like candy for the soul. I am a novice knitter and have just discovered the allure of all natural fibers!! I won’t ever go back to synthetics. I love that I can take a skein of yarn and turn it into something for my family and they know its made with love. Thank you for the chance at winning!
Why I love yarn? Because it makes me smile even on days I don’t feel much like smiling. Because it causes me to dream of what could be.
WAY COOL! I can think of o much that i can do with this stash. I suffer from lymphedema and neuropathy, nit, to mention osteoarthritis, plus i will be retiring soon, so i need lots of yarn to keep me busy.
