I am still (selfishly?) primarily knitting for myself, but I have two really big half-pi shawls going and I want to finish them both before the holidays! Once they’re done, maybe I can do some gifties!
I’m still knitting some late birthday gifts…but “thinking about” holiday knitting…. I never start early enough!
I would love to win, these colors are my favorite
I love all your yarn period!!!!
I would love to win and then make a shawl just downloaded frim your website
Gorgeous and happy birthday!
Just finished 3 huge shawls. Now I am on to hats, mittens and foot slippers as gifts also. Love yout news letters and the up lifts you give. Thank you.
Hi Chandi! I taught myself how to knit using your tutorial on YouTube 3 years ago. Now I’m knitting all the time! My favorite yarn is from you! I’ve purchased many of your gorgeous yarns. It would be so awesome to win more!!
Congrats to Ms. Rosa on her gorgeous win!
All of my projects for others tend to be those I work on in the summer. In the cooler months, I snuggle up with a warm cup of coffee or tea and even warmer yarn that’s just for me! I really enjoy working on blankets in the fall; it helps build anticipation for even colder weather. ^_^
Happy birthday to you and your hubby. My birthday is this month too. Hurray!! Have a blessed day.
Happy Birthday!
I knit mittens for my aunts charity alllll year long until November. From November to January I knot for me and I DON’T FEEL GUILTY!
Except for some hats for charity, everything else on my needles right now are for me, selfish me. It’s my birthday next month and if I win, it will truly be a happy birthday to me!
Hi All,
I taught myself to knit many years ago, I’ve also taught myself to crochet and have dabbled with needle felting. I have made presents for friends and family members as well as for myself. Here lately demands of work and family have limited the amount of time I get to indulge my habit. My husband often laughs at me because I’ll sit down with yarn and needles/ hook, with no plan in place. He’ll watch me spend hours playing with a new stitch or technique only to unravel it all so I can save my yarn for an actual project when I’m ready. The joy for me is in the process.
Love your yarn, beautiful colors.
Still gift knitting…have been for several months. I knit items to give to my mom, sister, 3 daughters, 1 son- in-law, 1future son-in-law, and 2 grandsons. This year, most are getting sweaters.
I have to say I am in love with your yarns and your website. They are all so beautiful. I can’t afford any (disability) but I do look and maybe someday I’ll be able to order, yay!!
I am currently in gift knitting mode. All my boys are in need of new sweaters and I am also making a matching mom and daughter sweater.
It took me 8 hours of practice last weekend to get really comfortable with continental knitting, but I’ll never go back now! So fast and so comfortable! Thank you for your great knitting and crochet videos! Will you do one on sweater fitting maneuvers so I could knit a sweater that doesn’t look like s sack on me? I feel like I could follow any of your directions and be successful. Thanks for giving me back my long lost knitting enthusiasm.
Sure thing!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH YOU & YOUR HUSBAND!! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY MONTH THIS YEAR & MANY MANY MORE IN THE FUTURE!! I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR CHEERY EMAIL’S & SEEING WHAT BEAUTIFUL YARNS YOU HAVE CREATED!!
Thank you!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband!!!🎉🎉🎂🍰
Those are beautiful colors, it reminds me of pink zirconia, Oct birthstone 😁 my young brother’s birth month also!!! 🎂☺
I won’t make anything for anyone knitted or crochet, only for my husband and I. To avoid more family drama…
Happy Birthday to you both. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win some of your beautiful yarn. I’m knitting for myself at the moment trying to gain more confidence as I’ve just started learning to knit, thanks to your awesome tutorials
I love making gifts for others. So the majority of my crafting is for others.
Well I’m still trying to finish the biggest project I’ve ever done and I’m almost there!! Baby Blanket!! But I added a few more projects to my life, these ones are gifts, and also small projects, so I will actually be able to finish them intone for the cold weather😁
I just wanted to add a short message to let you know how much I enjoy your messages. Always uplifting and the yarn is just yummy.
Thank you so much!
Starting small gift items this week…hats, scarves, mitts, & cowls. I have a daughter-in- law & a couple of grand-daughters who would adore those colors as much as I do! Birthday blessings to you & your hubby!
Oh my goodness I am in love with these colors!! I’m a “blue” gal but these have my heart going at Warp 10!!!!
Beautiful yarns, I hope I win. Thanks and happy birthday to you and your husband.
Thanks, Mindy!
Happy Birthday! I’ve been slowly working through a couple of projects for myself.
Thank you!
SO pretty
I am in the process of both gift knitting and Crocheting. I am in a slump for making a sweater for myself. I guess I haven’t found the right pattern yet but I will in time 🙂 Happy birth month to you and your Hubby!!
Thanks, Elisa! ❤️
OMGosh! Chandi, my granddaughters would FLIP for that pile if yarn!!! They are “all things pink & purple and girlie.” I have been making baby things the past few weeks. I have a new grandson, Fisher, who’s almost 2 months old (he’s # 11 😳). I’ve already had to make the second set of hats for him, he’s growing way too fast. Then in my extended family there are 4 new babies, all preemies, that I’m making for. The twins, a boy & gurl, have their second set of hats. The newest has just gotten his first set. My cousin’s grandson is waiting in approval for “real” clothes.
I’ve been trying to make things others will buy for gifts. Gotta get my Christmas money somehow! 🙂
Your yarns are gorgeous. Knitting relaxes me and your yarns just make it heavenly. I will be making things for myself for a change and will enjoy every one of them.
Fabulous yarn!!!
I adore your messages and words… they make me smile.
Happy Birthday to you and to Tim!
May your birthdays be full of celebration and love.
(My husband’s bday is this month, also.)
Thank you so much! Happy Birthday to the hubby!
I’m actually knitting for a charity fundraiser right now. I will be getting into gift knitting the middle of this month!
Christmas knitting! Making sweaters for all the littles!
These are such beautiful, HAPPY colors. Just looking at them gets my “yarning” spirit yearning to create with them.
Happy Birthday wishes to you both and many many wonderful days weeks years filled with love, joy yarny goodness. Oh my how gorgeous are these colourways I love them all Chandi thank you for giving us the chance in sharing this passion for yarn.
Thanks, as always, for your generous and loving spirit.
Getting a head start on gift knitting this year, lots to do so little time, but will obviously sneak in some selfish knitting!
Hello, these colors are breathtaking! most of my work is gifts, scarfs, cowls, baby blankets. a few of these gorgeous pinks might be mine!
I crochet blankets for a Nursing Home, because no-one in my family likes my craft.
I’ve gift crocheted for someone else. (As in my sister asked me to make something for her friend.) I’ve also been making some crochet dolls which I plan of selling at a fair
I just crochet, and right now I am on gifts (first for my mom’s birthday which is in a week and a half, yikes. She is getting a scarf from a modified Creek Bed wrap pattern.) And then I’ll move on to Christmas gifts. I’m hoping to be able to give lots of them, because this is the first year I feel confident enough in my ability to give gifts to other people.
Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband! This month’s yarn giveaway is gorgeous! I’m knitting shawls for the women in my family and a couple friends for Christmas gifts. Have a blessed birthday and upcoming holiday season.
Rose Quartz! that is the first thing that I though of seeing these colours! October is my birth month too! Ill be 40 this year on the 29th…..
Happy Birthday!
Everything I knit, I gift. I don’t think I’ve ever kept any of my products for myself. It gives me incredibly pleasure to make things for others.
Trying to get back in a knitting mood! Ready for fall temperatures in Ohio to arrive and finish a knitted vest project.
Chandi — I really NEED this. 🙂
Starting on my Christmas list!! Love the pinks!! My favorite!!! <3
Thank you for simplifying the giveaway entering so much. This is a lot easier! Love your giveaways, always!
I love your yarn. I am selfishly knitting a sweater for myself using your Luster Sport.. I really need to start a couple of Christmas presents but I keep procrastinating.
Happy Birthday from another October person! I knitted myself something this month, but now I am gearing up for holiday knitting.
Happy Birthday to you and your darling Hubby
Thank you!
Happy Birthday to you🎉🎂
I love your yarn. 😍
Happy birthday to you and your husband! My 48th wedding anniversary is October 9 too. I love to crochet. My Grandma taught me when I was a little girl. I love the fact that there is no machine that does crochet, and I make up many of my own sweater patterns. Your yarns are gorgeous.
You are a very generous soul and I thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful yarn, but also for the lovely patterns you share with us on a regular basis.
Happy Birthday to you! My birthday is next week. I knit and crochet for charities, a special gift once in a while, but now I’m knitting a sweater for myself.
happy Birthday!
Getting ready for first grandchild! Its a girl due on January 20th. Im am over the moon with Joy and praying to God all goes well. Busy doing a blanket now.
I have multiple projects going – some are for me and some are gifts.
Love the colors! So pretty!
So, if we’re already a subscriber, we don’t get to enter, right?
You definitely get to enter. ❤️
Happy birthday to the October babies! I’m one too!! I love this month. What with summer turning to fall, the holiday buzz starting, and an increase in family gatherings what’s not to love? I’ve been knitting beanies for Christmas gifts throughout the year. That way I can take my time and do a little bit every night.
Happy Birthday!
I love to give handmade gifts! My grandmother, who taught me to knit and crochet…and was the most influential person in my life, ALWAYS made handmade gifts for each of her children and grandchildren every year for Christmas! I’m always most excited about the handmade gifts that I give. ❤️ Is one of the things that really makes Christmas special for me!
Christmas gifts have been on my needles for several months–socks, leg warmers, hats, slippers.
Beautiful shades for Valentine’s gifts. The winner will have plenty of time to create them. Thanks for all you do.
I am primarily crocheting for myself but I usually end up gifting it to someone. I’ll keep trying.
Happy Birthday to you and your husband 🎈🎉🎈
Thank you so much for your giveaway, the colors are beautiful 💕💜💕
I love crocheting and knitting, mostly to make gifts for my family & friends, that makes me happy 😍
Hello, I am a hand-knitter, not by a machine, that is not knitting to me; but I am sure that it gets the job completed faster. It is just not my style .I
have been knitting for others and selling hand-knitted hats (only), scarfs (alone or in a set with a matching hat), afghans for my grand-children (18 of them, total) and hopefully soon to be selling them. I also knit pray shawls. I am starting on my first sweater, and it will be for one of my older grand-daughters for Christmas. Just completed an afghan for her sister last month.
currently I a creating (pattern and style) a Fair Isle sweater for my husbands dog (a Blue-nose Pit) who is such a sweet and gentle dog.
I also knit for donating to cancer patients, they are going through so much and some have nobody with them; so, a hat or an afghan helps to say that someone cares. My supplies are running very low and could use this months give-a-way for good causes.
I fell and dislocated my hip 19-months ago and have not been able to work since, I was a Sous Chef. So, I have created my own new job by knitting for other and for sharing my love of a well loved art form.
Thank you for all you do,
Catherine
Happy Birthday to both you and your hubby!!
I’m still working on things for myself, I have three sweaters I want to have done by December and a Christmas themed blanket. But I am working on a pair of mittens for my hubby’s friend who asked me to make him some, and have started making lists of things I’ll be making this year as gifts! I LOVE Christmas so much so from August through December my brain is non-stop thinking about it haha
My husband celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this month! I just participated in a craft sale at my church this past Sat, so now I am beginning Christmas gifts.
Happy Birthday to your hubby!
People like you are forever in my heart. Happy birthday to you and your husband.
Thank you so much!
Happy Birthday to you both🎁
I’ve been trying to finish two sweaters for myself but they keep getting put on hold. I love knitting for others and am working on gifts right now.
Happy Birthday to both you and your husband. My birthday is also in Oct. I am still selfishly knitting for myself and also working on a pattern for a class I am teaching at my LYS.
You deserve it!
Love your yarns
Last year I almost died trying to finish Christmas gifts for everyone so this year I’m doing little stocking stuffer gifts for folks like knitted scrubbies/facecloths/hand towels and crocheted face cleanser pads with homemade facial cleansers and makeup removers! I’m having fun planning and starting them out!
Other than that I’m working on my own projects just for fun (currently working on a line of Game of Thrones character-inspired scarves and shawls) that help jolt my creativity and help me learn new techniques! Love the colors in this month’s giveaway! 🧶🧶❤️🥰👍🏻
Also happy birthday to you and your hubby! Mine is coming up on November 1st ! ❤️❤️
I’m actually nearly done with my Christmas gifts. Since I’m cross stitching and sewing them this year, I started early! My current knitting (and crocheting) projects are baby gifts for several friends who just had or are going to have babies in the next few months. However, I had to take a skirt break from that because I can’t find my winter hat or my fingerless gloves that I need for this nippy time of year here in northern Illinois. So I’m working on replacements right now. I hope you both have a great birthday month!
Happy Birthday! October is a great month for a birthday! I knit for charity, family, friends and myself and would love to be able to enjoy the pleasure of working with your beautiful yarns!
I’m not planning on any handmade Christmas gifts this year. I did make an Afghan for my granddaughter who is off to college. A few dear friends who are knit-worthy may get just-because gifts throughout the year. Mostly I make things either for myself or for a variety of charitable organizations. The selection this month is beautiful! Would love to sqeeeeeze it!!
Hey! I’m an October girl too, so happy birthday to us! And my favorite colors are pink and blue. 🎂😁
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to both of you!!!!! Hope you have a special birthday dinner date. My birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year, Nov. 28, guess I know what I fixing for my birthday dinner…lol. Love the yarn, and the colors are gorgeous! I am working on gifts, now that the weather has turned a bit cooler, it’s nice to have something warm to knit or crochet. Have a great day!!! Blessings!!!
I just finished a crocheted shawl/poncho for my daughter and am searching for the perfect button to finish the look! Your yarn colors are so delicious and your words of inspiration are uplifting!
HI Chandi ! First Happy Birthday to you and Tim !!! Celebrate WELL ! !!!!!!
I actually knit/crochet for myself and others ! A 50/50 split ! Makes this crafting SO rewarding !
xo

Learning to knit is something I’ve always wanted to do, my great aunt tried her best to teach me but I couldn’t get it. Thanks to your tutorials and introducing me to circular needles I have been able to get it and I am on my way to completing my 1st project. These yarns look amazing and would be great to make some gifts with 😊
So many tempting delightful offerings,
Chandi. Always stunning.
Happy birthday to both of you Libras 🙂
Greetings from Belgrade, Serbia!
Happy Birthday month to both of you!! It’s my birth month as well … mine was yesterday (the 2nd). Love seeing all that pink and purple piled up 🙂
Happy Birthday to you and the hubby! Have a great one!
Looking forward to your next post.
I just received my first ever batch of your wonderful yarn here in Greece and cant wait to start knitting!
Our little knitting group is making a few things for the adult winter reading program. We knit at the library weekly. Whoever among us is led is welcome to put things in the cozy accessory prize box for this February event. So I am doing that now. Then I will be feee to do holiday knitting. And the Knitmore’a Grrinchalong before Christmas.
Happy birthday to you and your husband, Chandi! What a great way to celebrate!
I’m just starting to plan my crochet gifts for the holidays, much later than previous years. I hope I still have the time to finish everything I’m hoping to make.
You are in an inspiration and boy do I every have a large stash of your yummy yarn – I will need to live past 100 to knit it all up – but I am going to try. Love your emails – have a blessed day. Hugs.
Happy birthday to you and Mr. Chandi! May your birthday month be filled with all the things you love the most. The way I work is driven more by the county fair than by any holiday. Whatever is ready for the fair gets entered, and after the fair, I show everything on Facebook and whoever says, “Ohhhhh, I love that!” first, gets it.
Awesome & Best Wishes.. Thanks for your generous giveaway. Your generosity is appreciated. 🙂
thank you so much for doing this again. Always wonderful looking fibers, maybe one day…..Happy Birthday to you and what a wonderful way to celebrate it. I knit for myself, for friends, family and charity. I can’t keep my hands off the needles and the occasional hook as well.
I am always in the gift-giving mode because I am a slow knitter, but sometimes when I see some pretty yarn, I have to do something for me. Thanks!!!
My Birthday month, as well! Isn’t fall the best time to celebrate?!
My knitting time and efforts are mostly for me with a few projects for my family.
These colors are amazing!
Woohoo!
I am knitting for the pure joy of knitting and will need to weave in all yarn ends and block everything I’ve knitted before giving it away! I may let all my friends choose from what I’ve knitted so I will know exactly which items to finish first! Just love all your yarns, colors, and patterns. You both run a very professional business and I am always impressed.
I am starting to contemplate on what I will knit for who….I know there will be at least one blanket.
Happy birthday to you both!
Happy Birthday to you and yours. Mine is coming up soon (November 1) and I’ll be 68. How’d THAT happen? 🙂 I am having a sock knitting summer as we moved from California to Washington State and are living temporarily in an apartment while searching for a house. I just brought one tub of sock yarns, sock yarn pattern books, and sock sized needles. Various double pointed ones and Flexiflips by Addi (loving those! So easy to use.) All my other needles and stash are in storage. I thought I was being so wise to do this but then decided to knit a cowl for my lovely realtor and had to buy two pairs of needles to make it! I had to buy needles when I have 3 sets of interchangeables – Chiaogoo, Lykke and Knit Picks – in storage!!! My daughter and I did open the door of the storage unit to see if we could find my box of knitting supplies but the movers did a fantastic job of getting everything in that unit. No possible way of digging through anything. No grabbing anything unless it is right by the unit door. So sock knitting it is with a couple of fingerless mittens out of self striping yarn to change things up. But I am getting better at knitting those gussets in socks without that little hole at the top. Practice makes perfect. It will feel like Christmas when I finally get to unpack my stash. And it will probably BE Christmas! But I am excited at seeing the trees changing colors here in the Pacific Northwest. Counting my blessings.
Happy birthday month to you and Tim! You share with my awesome daddy. I am currently working on my Christmas knit/crochet gift list and projects while still finishing up baby shower gifts for a friend. I look at it this way, what I don’t finish for this christmas becomes birthday gifts…. win, win!
A bit of both for me, birthday/Christmas shawl (depending when I finish!) for mum and hoping to do a Christmas sweater for me.
Happy birthday to you both!
Happy Birthday to you and your hubs! It is also my birthday month. I am trying to finish up a few things and get busy on holiday gifts for kids, grandkids and in-laws. Always SO much to do! Thank you for having these giveaways – I adore your yarns!
Happy Birthday to you & your hubby. Thank you for your posts & I enjoy your YouTube videos.
Happy birthday to you and your husband. I hope it’s a great month for both of you.
Happiest of birthdays to you both!
Thank you!
Pretty! Pink is my daughter’s FAVORITE, so my fingers are crossed! 🤞
Wonderful yarns – all are my colors! Hope you both have wonderful birthdays, full of joy! Hugs, Karleen
Happy birthday to you and Tim. I’m working on the Laguna wrap combining your “Friendly” cash silk sock yarn and also the “Kindness”. One was from the August club. I was a little worried about trying to combine these colors but needed them both for the wrap. Couldn’t afford more. They are mixing beautifully!! I will send a pic when it’s completed. Just want to say this is the most beautiful yarn I’ve ever worked with. The feel and the pretty soft glow to it. Now I hate going back to the acrylic type yarns.
Thank you for having these giveaways! One of these days it will be my luck!
I’m working on a knitted afghan that’s a contribution to the family cottages — so it’s kind of a gift. Best birthday wishes to you and your husband!
I continue to knit for the box I give to an elementary school teacher I know. She said that she could give away at least one hat each winter day to her students and/or people in their families so any leftover yarn I get is turned into a hat for … someone! I have a few gift projects going for my own family too, of course. Thanks for your generosity.
Been in family gift knitting mode for months already. About the only time I knit for myself is after Christmas!
Hi and Happy Birthday to you and your husband. October is also my birthday, I missed being a Halloween baby by 4 hours.
This time of year I like to crochet gifts and Christmas decorations. With the cool weather it is nice having the warmth of the yarn on my lap.
Happy Birthday to you, your husband and all of us October babies.
You were soooo close! ❤️
And a happy birthday to you and your husband!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband! My daughter also has a birthday in October, and pink is still her absolute favorite color!
I’m still knitting away on projects for me, but I have started on some gifts… my youngest sister is expecting a baby girl for Christmas!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband! My hubby is an October Libra, also!
I made your Global Connections poncho and it turned out so beautiful and elegant. I wore it on a trip and received so many compliments. Thank you, Chandi ❤️
Happy Birthday to you and your husband!
I’m working on a throw done in squares wih cables and beads. When it is done, I think it will be big enough for our double sized bed! So it has been my project for most of the summer.
Happy Birthday to you and your hubby!!! I LOVe OCTOBER!!!! its one of my most favorite months! Ive started a pair of socks i want to finish in time for Christmas for my aunt soooo much! but i also have a couple of tops going and theres not enough time in the day for allllll of the things i want to make as i have four little ones and work of course !
Thank you for your beautiful give aways every month! have a wonderful birthday!
Happy Birthday to you and your hubby! I started making gifts in July — 4 hats and 15 ornaments completed, about 8 inches to go on a scarf.plus 4 foot scrubies. THEN, I am knitting for me… a shawl from your beautiful “The Lights Are Turned Way Down Low”.
Happy Birthday to you and your hubby. My birthday is October 9. Turning 61, yeah! Love your colorways, and patterns and videos. Happy October.
Woohoo! Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday to you both! I’m in gift knitting mode, mostly socks and hats for the family. Just finishing up a cardigan for my son. I just have to sew in the zipper and get in the mail. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great prize!
Happy Birthday beautiful girl. Wishing you a wonderful, happy, healthy, wealthy year ahead. Peace be with you.
They are GORGEOUS, Chandi! Happy birthday to you and your husband!!
Knitting and crocheting for our prayer shawl ministry at church. I do some small things for my grands as well – amigurumi and others. Love your yarn and your affirmations. Hope you and your sweet husband have happy, happy birthdays
Happy Birthday, Chandi to you and your husband! I love your positiity. You have a beautiful soul!
I primarily knit or crochet prayer shawls for women having surgery of some kind. So love these cheerful colorways!
I just finished a fair isle sweater for myself. Now I’m trying to knit some dishcloths. My old ones are getting tattered! Happy birthday! Hope you have a great birthday month.
I have a big kid blanket half done, a baby blanket half done, and one baby blanket that is next up. My goal is to make a blanket for each neic and nephew before they graduate. Lol I’m half done. I just bought yarn for a sweater for me, but it may be out of style before I get to it.
I am working on some knitting for gifts. Cowls, a shawl, mitts and stockings. Also my son and wife just became foster parents so I am happy there a little ones to knit for again! Yippee!! When I knit kid mittens I always knit a “pair and a spare” because, well, they are kids! lol
Happy Birthday, fellow Libran! 🙂 Mine is on October 07!
I am currently making gifts for my future mother-in-law’s sisters. She loves the things I knit and wants to surprise her sisters for Christmas!
Love the patterns you share! Made the etude no 3 shawl for my best friend as a wedding gift.
Happy Birthday to you!
Have wonderful birthdays! I’ve been into Christmas knitting since mid-August (I still do volunteer knitting for two groups at the same time). I’ve finished two hats, two bath mitts, and one and a half socks. I have yet to make 5 pairs of slipper socks, some fingerless mitts, and a vest for my husband to wear when he bicycles in the winter. If I miss Christmas, two gifts (vest, and mitts) can be January Bday presents. I carry project bags EVERYWHERE. Knit for myself? Last year’s project for me might just be done this spring.
I am finishing up a cardigan and a pair of socks for my best friend. I have been knitting hats for the “Hats for Sailors” Ravelry group. Twice a year they send hats to ships. Then, I will shift to gift knitting. I am knitting ornaments for my co-workers. My niece is having her first baby in February and I need to start on that gift as well. I have a baby blanket done I crocheted, but want to knit a baby sweater and hat, and a couple stuffed animals.
You know, when I knit for others, they aren’t nearly as excited about it than I am when I knit for myself! I am finishing a summer top (live in the deep South) and have plans to begin something for winter. Happy birthday to you and yours🎉🎈
Happy birthday to both you and your DH! What luscious yarn for the giveaway!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the both of you! ^_^ <3 <3 <3
I must say that you ALWAYS seem to mix/create such GORGEOUS colourways…this particular Giveaway is right up my alley! I LOVE all the pinks, blues and purples combos! ^____^ <3 <3 <3 I use to knit waaaaaaay back in the day when I was a wee little kid, but it was REALLY basic simple knitting…it was about 8-9 years ago that I learned to crochet and only about 4 years ago I picked up knitting again (and put crocheting aside ^_^;;;) and hit the ground running! XD A year after that I got my first spinning wheel, having been interested in learning to spin prior to taking up knitting again, but really didn't have the coordination for the drop spindle…as it stands today I've TWO spinning wheels that are put to great use producing yarn for gifts for my mom and two younger sisters who are avid knitters as well 😀 …am not sure that I've seen any on your site previously, but have you given thought to hand-dyed roving/fiber for us fellow spinning enthusiasts? ^_^ <3 I can only what wonderous colourways you'd produce for spinning fibers given the gorgeous colourways you produce with your yarn. ^_^ <3 <3 <3
Thank you! Roving is definitely something on our list. We definitely have plans to add it to our shop.
I’m such a beginner, so I think I’ll stick with knitting for myself for awhile. Then, maybe I’ll give sock away if they turn out well.
Oh!!!! The colors are so pretty. Thanks for the chance to win.😁🥰
October is my favorite time because it means Halloween! I have already started holiday gifts so I look forward to doing something for myself that is Halloween themed in October.
Happy birthday to you and your husband! My 48th wedding anniversary is October 9 too. I love to crochet. My Grandma taught me when I was a little girl. I love the fact that there is no machine that does crochet, and I make up many of my own sweater patterns. Your yarns are gorgeous.
Happy anniversary!
Happy birthday!!!
Thank you!
My birth month too! (26th)
Happy birthday to you both!
Woohoo!
My granddaughters would both look fabulous in those colors!!
Happy birthday to you and hubby. I’m an October baby too. I just found your blog for the first time today, after a friend posted a Facebook pic of one of your yarns. We just moved to NC an hour away from Charlotte (Kernersville)!
Welcome! Happy birthday to you!
Breathtaking colors for this months giveaway.
You’ve outdone yourself.
Just finished knitting for a Holiday Boutique in Florida.
Now back to knitting for my friends😘💜
I started by knitting for others (primarily my little. I exes and nephews) and I’m finally knitting something for me. The champagne cowl was one of the first things I downloaded to make for myself and I’m finally making it. I can’t wait till it’s done. 😁
Didn’t catch the auto correct on my phone – it’s for nieces and nephews – not I exes -not sure how I managed that one lol
OH my! do I need this yarn? No. do I want this yarn? Yes!
Happy Birthday!
Chanti , I hope all your dreams come true and have lovely birthday.
Oh my! Pink is my favorite color. The thought of maybe winning all that pink left my knees week. U r so generous. Thank you Chandi

Happy Birthday to both you and Tim! Thanks again for allowing us the chance to win this beautiful yarn. At this time of year, I crochet and knit for gifts and craft bazaars to raise money for rescued dogs. As I am only able to work in sunlight, my hours are restricted, but I do the best I can!
Happy birth month to you and your husband!im making a baby blanket for our little granddaughter arriving just before Christmas. Also just want to say I love your very dear greetings!
Happy Birthday!
I make a lot of half-projects, which I’ve just been going through to see if I might be able to finish for gifts.
The problem is that I so love the things I do get finished that I want to keep them.
OK, except for my mother-in-law, who is perfectly capable of taking the piece from my body.
I always seem to have something for someone else on my hooks. Working on two blankets right now for our local pregnancy center and for a new teeny family member. 🙂 These lovely yarns would make lovely special gifts or, gasp! something for myself? It could happen! 🙂 Thanks, Chandi for your enthusiasm and good will! Cheers!
Happy Birthdays to you and your hubs. Some of my most favourite people have Oct birthdays, my daughter being top of list! She’s become a better knitter than I since living in England for a number of years!
I primarily crochet for others. I am thinking of trying my hand at knitting but haven’t started as yet. I will be making afghans for my grandkids this Christmas.
I am knitting for myself in the evening, but doing hats for charity as I ride my exercise bike every morning. I have finished over 125 hats this year so far.
Happy b-day!
That is so kind!
This is a wonderfully generous thing to do — and all of your colors are gorgeous!
.With the upcoming holiday season, I’m realizing that I really need to shift to working on gifts; most of my knitting and crocheting is for shawls and lap blankets for my church’s prayer shawl ministry, although one of the projects on my needles right now is a shawl for me.
Happy Birthday. I knit primarily for myself and my family. I’m knitting a summer top for myself.
Happy Birthday Chandi ! Those yarns are so beautiful! The only way I could get to try any of them would be to win these and then I would share some with my Granddaughter that is a senior in high school. I am on disability and in a power chair and have no way to go places since I can’t take my chair. I have a lot of time to crochet. Just starting a baby blanket for a friends daughter that is having her first child. Picked out my pattern, now to try it. I am subscribed and enjoy seeing your channel on You Tube. Thanks for this incredible giveaway.
I gifted a lot last Christmas lol so I am doing a CAL for me this year :). My 31st anniversary is on the 8th -happy birthday to you and the hubster!!
Awesome!
Hi Chandi, Thanks for the opportunity to win this GREAT stash of yarn. Since I have a new great-grand-daughter, I can really use this if I win!
Congrats!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband! My two crafting besties and I are all born within a week of each other in October. We also are all left-handed. So instead of having a birthday party we celebrated with a Lefthanders Born in October Convention. Your daily emails always provide an uplifting frame for my day and I look for them every morning! I appreciate your generous soul!
I love this! ❤️
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH YOU AND TIM!!! You are such a sweet couple. I love your kind and loving messages, they always brighten my day, sometimes bringing tears of relief.
Happy Birthday ! Love the all of your yarns and especially your creative photos that match your yarn colors so well ! I just received the yarn i purchased to make a shawl ,love, love, love it,the color and feel. Thanks Rita
My Christmas knits are done and blocking so now I am knitting for myself.
I am gift-knitting at present. Love these gorgeous yarns and would love to do some “selfish-knitting” with them!!! Happy birth month to you and your photographer hubby!
Happy Birthday month to you Chandi and to your husband as well! You are such a beautiful joyful spirit who uplifts so many of your fellow fiber freaks everyday! Thank you! I have started my Christmas knitting and crocheting. I live in Low Country SC now and I sure hope it cools down soon so I can break out some of my favorite scarves!
I hear ya! 95 degrees here on 10.3.19. Super hot! Hopefully it will cool down soon.
Happy Birthday to you both!! 🎂🎁🎉🥳🥳 October is my favorite month, too, and I love all the new color ways you’ve released! I’m still knitting/crocheting mostly for myself although I have a couple gifts in the works that are taking me months to wrap up. That’s ok though – joy in the making!
I knit and crochet for my kids, but mainly for myself. I don’t know too many folks that appreciate the worth of the time and love that each item is made with.
Happy Birthday to both you and your husband! I knit and crochet but currently making a baby blanket that is long overdue for my 2 year old granddaughter. I have 6 grandchildren and have made blankets for each of them except for our little cutie. Hope to do some crocheting/knitting for Christmas.
Well, my birthday was in September; But, I have three daughters,a cousin, and an uncle with birthdays in October.
Man, o man, do I love these colors!!! I love all of your colors, who am I kidding.
Also wanted to say that I entered the yarn giveaway but did not get an email so I can’t confirm. Can you help out?
Sure thing. I will personally make sure you are entered into this month’s giveaway.
Happy Bday and blessings to you guys! Love us some October in this house too! Celebrating 28 yrs of marriage bliss tomorrow… and yes I do believe the 28th anniversary gift is that of woven fibers! Crocheting both for Xmas gifting and myself gifting!
Have a wonderful anniversary!
October is my birth month too!
I love to crochet and, since discovering your videos, am now enjoining knitting as well.
I mainly make “baby gifts”, shawls for myself and others, and of course mittens and hats for my family.
Thank you for would wonderful videos, beautiful patterns, and exquisite yarn!
Happy Birthday to you and your hubby! I would love to say I crochet stuff for me but actually I love to crochet so that part is for me and everything I make is given away. Mostly to anyone who has a need.
Thanks for everything you bring to us!
I am busy doing both – knitting for myself and knitting Christmas gifts.
Thank you so much! 💗
A little of both! And Happy Birthday to YOU both!
Thank you!
lovely soft yarn
I am gift knitting–a beaded purse for a bride. A scarf for my son’s girlfriend (soon-to-be fiancee–hush, it’s a secret). Baby sweaters. Hats for the grandkids. But come January, its ME ME ME!
October is a favorite month for my husband and me also! This year, mid October will be our 45th wedding anniversary! Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. But we have had some pretty severe snow storms on our anniversary over the years. I made a lot of Afghans over the last 45 years. And we still have the first one I made that first year! It is my go to afghan when the air gets chilly! Each one of our kids have a couple of Afghans I’ve made. Baby blankets I don’t even remember making anymore. When my husbands mother past away, he asked his siblings if he could have the afghan I made for her the first year we were married. She took her nap every day with that afghan on her lap! That meant so much to me.
How exciting! Congrats! ❤️
OMG!! I LOVE PINK!!
Pink is my favorite color. They look so beautiful/ HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU AND YOUR HUBBY. . Trying to knit/crochet as much as I can for other people. Wish I could move faster. Thank you for being so generous. Appreciate your kindness!!!!!
Happy Birthday to you and your hubby, it’s my birthday month too. I’m still knitting for me but I have good intentions to start knitting for some people for Christmas.
Happy Birthday!
Beautiful color yarns. Priceless
Happy birthday Chandi from another October baby (25th)!!
The yarn is lovely and will make some very beautiful wraps for Christmas and birthdays.
Thanks for your daily missives….very positive and mood enhancing.
I’ve been knitting hats for my grand-nephew, and am also knitting a cotton towel for my granddaughter.
I feel like I mostly gift knit now. Half the time intentionally other half because it fit my daughter when I finally finished lol.
Happy Birthday to both of you! And thank you for giving one of US a gift! I’m almost finished with your beautiful red shawl pattern…..selfishly made for myself! I just couldn’t resist. After that, I’ll start thinking about Christmas gifts.
My fave color is pink. This one’s for me………I hope!!!
Love your beautiful yarns!
I knit mostly for family and friends because I already find knitting therapeutic but I’m going to try and be a little more selfish and knit more often for me. Happy birthday to you and your hubby!
I have been in Christmas mode already. I did mother/ daughter socks and a Linus Shawl so far. I have the second sock of self stripping yarn on my needles and am looking for the perfect pattern for a shawl of bamboo/ cotton blend in yummy coral! I love your emails!💜🧡💛 Blessings for you.
First, Happy Birthday to you and your husband!
Second, I love reading your newsletters and your other writings as well. One day, you wrote “Feeling…not enough”. I received this on a day I was really down, so I am letting you know now, how much it mean to me and how it picked my whole day up. Thank you so much for your thoughts.
And finally, I am knitting gifts for our first great grandbaby, he is due October 30th.
Congrats!
Happy Birthday to you and your husband! I crochet amigurumis mostly but also make funny hats for my nieces and nephews. I would love the chance to try some of your yarn for my projects. 🙂
Definitively started on the gifts. I’ve had a long ego knit year so far, with a whopping 5 sweaters knitted for myself, so it’s about time I switch to gift mode 😉
I’m am October baby and from North Carolina, too! I love Autumn and the changing leaves. The cool crisp NC air! It’s a magical time! Gorgeous yarn giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity! Happy Birthday month!!!
Awesome! Happy Birthday!
Thank you for this beautiful giveaway! Now that the weather is cooling where I live, I’ve gotten back in my groove and started knitting and crocheting gifts! Thank you for always being so positive! ☺️
I love to knit and crochet for my daughters, for me I rarely find the time, although I have tons of projects saved on Pinterest. Happy Birthday to you and your husband, and many thanks for your free patterns and tutorials!
Happy birthday to youuuu and hubby. Not my birthday month, but was married in October. Just love the Fall! As usual, yarns are just gorgeous!! Oh my could I just go crazy with it if I won. Making Christmas gifts. This the season for making gifts! Tralalalalaaaa!
❤️
Have a very happy birthday,, for the two of you. I am from Europe, and I hope I have a chanche too. I would make a beautyful cardigan for my daughter, who’s birthday is coming soon. It would make a beautyful present. The colors of your yarn is always so beautyful.
Happy Birthday to both you and your husband. Thank you for the beautiful giveaway! I am learning to knit, so knitting projects are just for me. I crochet both for charity and for myself or gifts.
Happy birthday month to you and hubby! I’ve crocheted 1 big Christmas gift already and planning several others. I can’t say enough of how beautiful your yarn is!
Good morning from a windy Jersey in the English Channel! I’m just about to switch over from Halloween decorations to starting on gifts for family, friends and hopefully to sell at some Christmas fetes. 🙂 Like last year, I’m going to crochet some hats for Special Care Baby Units. 🙂 The bonus of the weather turning colder is that I can get back to some of my bigger blanket projects without turning into a puddle of sweat! I’m looking forward to trying out some of your beautiful shawl patterns for presents. Hope that you have a day that is as lovely as you are! x
I mostly knit for myself but sometimes I knit gifts
😊
Cheers and congrats to you and all your efforts
I find it difficult to knit for myself, usually knit for presents
Have a sweater, shawl and 2@time soaks on needles and hook
I’ve never felt that my knitting was good enough to gift to anyone but my mum who loved everything I created and was so devoted to being the best mum. She passed away last October 30 and I miss having her enthusiasm and support. I mostly knit for myself and very close friends(I should knit for the blind because they wouldn’t see all those dropped stitches and repairs eh?). I recently gifted a shawl to a friend and she’s had two people ask for one to be made for them. I’m biting the proverbial bullet and I’m going to give it a try. And I’ve also started spinning and so I’ve been making hats with my handspun as well as forgiving shawl patterns. Art yarn is beautiful and it gives me great joy to dye, spin and create pretty things. The world needs more natural fibre so I’m taking that task on and doing my bit. 🙂
I love it. What you create is perfect in its imperfection because it was made by your hands.
love the support!
I love your upbeat messages! Thank you for posting your happy thoughts. I mostly knit for others and for charity. For me its about the process and the journey. I love learning new techniques and having fun with knits.
My Goodness, what a gorgeous collection. Pink is my absolute favorite color!
Happy Birthday to you and your handsome husband! I wish you both a year of health and happiness.
For the first time, I am knitting something for myself, a cardigan. I have never made something just for me, so its really neat. Everyone asks who it is for and I answer me, while hugging and stroking the sweater, LOL!!!!
HUGS 🙂
You deserve it! ❤️
I’ve done a bit of knitting in the past but had so much trouble when I made a mistake. I switched to crocheting and found it much easier.
OMG……I just LOVE these colors, Thank You for this Giveaway.
Chandi, Happy Birthday to you and your Hubby. Hope you have a glorious month. What a beautiful pile of yarn. All my fingers and toes are crossed.
I’m working on crocheting Halloween costumes for my 2 year old daughter and newborn nephew. My daughter’s going as an owl so I’m making a “poncho” to look like feathers/wings with a hat so she stays warm. And a cozy caterpillar “sack” and hat for my nephew.
Happy birthday to you and your hubby! This is also my hubby’s and mom’s birthday month! I’m mostly crocheting for immediate family but plan to gift a couple to some friends this Christmas.
I love your yarn! I learned how to knit by watching my husband’s great aunt and your videos. They are so helpful!!! I enjoy knitting things to share with those I love.
Happy Birthday! Am knitting a shawl for myself then back to the blanket I am knitting for a long overdue wedding gift.
Happy Birthday to you and your husband!
Most of my knitting is always gifts and when I do knit for myself it takes me forever, I just finished a pair of fingerless mitts for myself that I started about this time last year!
Mostly shifting into gift making. Should have started in July, lol
Wow! Gorgeous yarn! I am gift knitting and knitting for myself right now, as I always have two projects on the go at any one time. Happy Birthday to both you and Tim! Enjoy your brownies, bookstore and antique browsing.
hey Chandi,
First of all, I’d like to wish you the best birthday ever, as well as your husband.
I happened across your site about 2-3 years ago. Ohhh, if I could only crochet and knit as fast as you change colors. 🙂
Your yarn has renewed my passion for knitting and crocheting. This is such a relaxing pass-time that I often do it while listening to the T.V.
I work mostly for giving. I just discovered family, when I went to France with my 85 year old mother, this past early summer.
I have been working on fingerless gloves, and scarves to send their way. It was such a pleasure to meet them. I wonder why I’ve not been informed about them earlier in my life.
When I am not knitting and crocheting for family them I work on donating items that I make to animal shelters and homeless on the street.
I wish I lived closer to you and then I would try to work with you and your beautiful yarns. I saw when you were looking to hire people and wished it then!
I am so looking forward to the cooler weather that’s about to come our way tonight. way long over due.
This is coming to the season where I spend more time with yarn, as the items are bigger and the yarn is warm, keeping my nice and cozy while working on a bigger project.
I really enjoy your videos also. They are educational and I love the Blurbs at the end of the videos.
I can see the great personality that you have.
I have plenty of items to make and the colors in the giveaway are what others like (especially the women).
I would sure like to make some of the cowls, but most especially, the shawls that you have BEAUTIFUL patterns for.
Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate them. I wish you well on your knitting journey. ❤️
May you and hubs both have magical Birthdays with wonderful surprises and fond lasting memories! xo
Well, I’ve finally made myself a couple of tops for the coming warm weather so now I’m getting stuck into gifts for the kids. Softie no.1 on it’s way and hopefully there’s a couple more after that. Not little kid softies, big kid softies… for the over 25! ;p
Thanks for another ripper giveaway!
I’m blessed with a wonderful but small family so I’m working on making each of them a pair of socks this year – more intense gift knitting than usual for me! The trickiest part has been figuring out how many stitches to cast on to get a nice fit for each different size of calf/ankle/foot! Thanks so much for the chance to win your beautiful yarn – so drewlworthy! And a very happy birthday month to you both! <3
Have spent the summer crocheting parts of an afghan for my niece for Christmas. Still only 2/3 done! Then I want to make shawls for 2 people who have been very good to me this past year. Love the latest colors in the giveaway.
Happy Birthday To You!
Happy Birthday To You!
Happy Birthday Dear Chandi & Tim
Happy Birthday To You!
Wishing you Both All The Best!
Right now I’ve switched to making for others, mainly my new Great-Niece, Presley! By the time I’m done crocheting for her it will be time to start on Christmas presents! LOL!!!
I’d also like to echo others who have mentioned your uplifting e-mails. Last week’s seemed like it was speaking just to me and it was what I needed at that moment. TYSVM for that!
Thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes! ❤️
Happy Birthday to you, Chandi, and to your Husband. Enjoy the beauty of the day. I just finished the Etude 6 shawl. I so enjoyed the feel of the merino and the silk through my fingers and now I will be able to experience the beauty and softness across my shoulders and wrapped around my neck. Thank you for a wonderful pattern and the pearlescent worsted colors. I am now beginning my winter projects for the tree of warmth for our community along with knitted gifts for friends and family. I will knit again for myself after the first of the year.
Peace, Life, Love.
Happy birthday to you both!! Chandi your words always bring a smile to my day. I am currently shifting into my gifting mode. These amazing fibers would do well on my list of “to make”.
happy birthday to you and your husband . we also have October birthdays daughter ,husband; and great grandson. love your yarns , love all the colors. thank-you for the give aways
Happy birthday to you both ! I have 2 daughters also celebrating birthdays in October ! Love your yarns and thank you for this great giveaway.
Happy October birthdays! (Mine too) keep those dyed beauty’s coming.
Happy Birthday to you two beautiful souls🥳
I mainly spin then knit for myself or gifts for friends and family, but not been doing much of late.
You have inspired me to try my hand at crochet, and I’ve done a couple of baskets for myself.
These gorgeous pinks would be so lovely for some items for my 3 great-nieces.
Thanks for being so upbeat and positive, you put a smile on my face🤗
Thank you for the birthday wishes!
WAU…Thouse colors😍
I used to knit for my “boys” when they were boys💙💙
Now it’s mostly to myself, when my arthroses allows it. 😁
Happy Birthday to you both!!! And congratulation to Rosa Berrios.!!! I am a crocheter (yes I live on the dark side :)) and am about 60% charity 40% for my self and loved ones. I wish everyone good luck!!!! 🙂
Love love your colors.. Have some shawl yarn to use first then I’ll be purchasing some in the near future..
Happy Birthday
I just started holiday gifts this week!
Hope you two have a great birthday month. Love your yarns & these in the giveaway are gorgeous colours. Doing a mixture of gifts & other projects
Smile, exhale, knit! It’s proven, knitting is an anti-stress activity that allows us to unravel the knots that we make to the brain …
Happy Birthday!
Knowing how to relax in the midst of a life swarming, agree sweet moments around a ball of wool, that’s the new #tricotherapy.
I have three projects on needles right now. One shawl is for me. The other two projects – a baby blanket and the Laguna textured shawl are gifts.
I am usually making something for someone else, but right now I am learning fair isle on a cowl for myself! Have to hurry so I can maley son a stuffed sheep
I’m still crafting/knitting/crocheting for myself at this point. I have a short list of things I do need to get started on soon though if I want them ready for the gift giving season.
My Grandmother taught me to crochet; my Mom’s first cousin taught me to knit. I still do both although knitting is my fav … and I’m working on a gift for a baby shower and planning a sweater for my daughter-in-law! HBD … my Mom and one of my sons are October babies too!
That’s a gorgeous collection! Holding thumbs that I’m the winner 🙂
I’ve got two pair of socks, two shawls, a sweater and a cardigan on the needles and a blanket on the hook. All for me. I might knit and crochet some facecloths/scrubbies and add a nice piece of handmade soap for the females in my family. If there’s time left I might knit socks for the guys.
Happy birthday to you and your husband!
Hi! Happy birthday to you both, my mom and brother birth have birthdays at the end of this month. Right now I am knitting a cardigan for my moms birthday gift and then I will get started on Christmas knitting. I will probably sneak something in for myself also but it will mostly be gift knitting that I will be working on. Thank you so much for the chance to win and experience your lovely yarns!! I will one day be able to drool at it in person, not on it just at it!! Wouldn’t want to mess something so beautiful up!! 😀
Knitting for self, others, and have more gift ideas floating around in my head.
Working on hats, mittens (knitted) and sleep mats (crocheted) for the local homeless. I plan to distribute about 20 sets early next month. Ohio gets pretty cold in the winter. Some of these beautiful colors would make some awesome hats & mittens. Thanks, Ms Chandi for sharing the beauty!
Happy birthday to you. I have birthday in october too, turned out 40 this year!
Now I´m knitting a gift for my brothers baby that will be born in november. It is red and white just like Santa 🙂 Shorts, socks and hat.
I´m also knitting a sweater for myself, 5th sweater I knit for myself this year! Happy we often have sweaterweather in Iceland! I have also knitted sweater for two of my girls and already bought yarn for a sweater for my youngest girl. So 2019 will by known as my sweaterknitting year!
Yesterday I was asked to testknit a shawl from pure Icelandic wool and I´m looking forward to knit that.
Happy Birthday! 🎂
Hi Chandi! My birthday was on 10.5 – turned 65! I’ve never mastered making anything that fits, but I am a knitter that used fine silk thread and over 4,000 crystal beads and knit my daughter’s wedding veil. Most everything I’ve knit has been for my wife: shawls, scarves, hats (that sort of fit). I’ve also used your yarn to weave with – it made a gorgeous shawl. And I have to say nothing looks better on my wife of 45 years than the colors pink and blue – somehow they both make her bright/deep blue eyes shine. So, I’d love to win this giveaway! But in any case, thanks for your generosity and beautiful yarns and thoughts you share.
Happy late Birthday! I hope your day was joyous!
Hi Chandi! The best of birthday wishes to you and your Tim! Being a newly retired teacher, I have taught myself to knit and am absolutely loving it. Your method of knitting has inspired me, and it feels so natural as I have been crocheting since I was 9. Granny taught me with the granny square. Now I’ve kept the tradition and have taught a granddaughter. Having fallen hard for the art, she’s also asked to learn to knit. My joy has been crocheting and now knitting micro-preemie beanie hats & donating. (I have a granddaughter born at 23 weeks and 1 pound. She’s now 5.) I am currently venturing out of my comfort zone and knitting a sweater. So exciting!! These yarns look delicious! Thank you for sharing your expertise, encouragement, and your kindness! You are beautiful!
Happiest of birthdays for you and Tim, and may you both be blessed with many, many more years. I’m working on a quilting project (gift) that should be wrapping up next month, but have started laying out plans for playing with yarn again afterwards, now that it’s starting to cool off here in southern AZ. So gifts should start coming of my needles mid – end of November, my birthday month! So thank you for all of the inspiration you have given, and your words of encouragement. <3 <3
My birthday month too! Happy birthdays!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday 🎂 Chandi and to Tim! Hope you have fun celebrating.
The new colors are just beautiful. Pink is for breast cancer and i am a 15 year survivor!
❤️❤️
These colours are exquisite! My birthday is toward the end of October and it would be wonderful to spoil myself for a change. Happy birthday to you, too! Best wishes for today and always xoxo
Sandy
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you and hubby! I’m currently working on a crochet shawl for for my sister and I expect to work up a baby blanket for a co worker to give as a gift. I have too many WIPs going. Lol
Thank you!
Hi Chandi,
I’m new to this blog thingamabob so I am not quite sure what to say. Well let me tell you how i started knitting. My grandmother (my dad’s mom) was a night keeper in home for unmarried pregnant women (we’re talking 1940’s, 1050’s) she taught the women how to knit for their unborn children. Most of the women there would put their babies up for adoption but she told them they could give these clothes to the baby that way the baby would be properly dressed to meet their new parents! She paid tuition for her 2 sons and 2 daughters to go to private schools (in those days there wasn’t much choice). How did she pay them? Well, she knitted hats and mitts for everyone (adult and child) in the school, that way everyone could stay warm! She was a special person and i tried to lean as much as i could from her. One thing she did teach me is that the magic of knitting and crocheting is in the fact that you can always undo and redo to your own satisfaction! I hear her voice when i knit and miss something or have to redo a section and somehow that instills patience, calm and great sense of satisfaction when i succeed. Knitting for me is an expression of my appreciation and love for the people i gift these to. But…. with your beautiful yarns, I will be selfish this time and keep it for me! 🙂
Thank you for sharing with me. ❤️
I am crocheting for myself and considering projects for Christmas. I also am learning knitting…So I have fun projects in my future. 😏😊
Once again, beautiful yarns being gifted by a beautiful soul….& thanks too for the fair isle crochet pattern…..hope your birthday month is continuing fabulously.💐
I have been doing a little bit of both. Ive been crocheting a lot of earrings, some for myself, some to sell and a cpl for gifts. Im getting ideas for other people right now.
Happy Birthday to you both I am starting on some of my Christmas gifts still looking for the perfect yarn for a couple of them
Woooowww!! 🤩 I love it!! Gorgeous colors! Happy birthday to you both.
I like to knit for my family but also for myself 😊
All this yarn would definitely be to knit something for myself.
Hello Chandi! I’m new to knitting. I took a beginner’s class a couple of months ago. I wanted to learn how to knit continental, but the instructor only knits english method. I came across your video on how to knit faster, and so glad I did. I’m knitting continental now, and it’s much easier for me to control holding the needles. I’ve been binge watching your videos, and love everything. I want to knit up some dishcloths and spa cloths for gifts. Hope you and your husband have a very Happy Birthday!
Thank you so much!
I just started knitting and find it so exciting. I’m pretty young, so it kinda gets me when people say knitting is a “Grandma” thing. Anyway, these yarns are so beautiful! I found out about you on YouTube and think your videos are great! Thank you for reading!
Happy birthday!! I am currently knitting Christmas socks for my five grandchildren. I am also working on a shawl and hat for myself.
My granddaughter’s name is Lydia Rose Peacock. It completely matches this yarn. I would love to make her something gorgeous with this. Lydia means purple. Rose is pink which she is all about and the Peacock is pretty self explanatory. She is the fourth child in her family and the only girl.
I have crocheted since I was twelve and I am new to knitting. I ran across your tutorials and they are excellent in helping me learn my stitches and placement of my needles. Thank you so much and keep on doing such a fantastic job. I love your site and your yarns and patterns. Thank you for your enthusiasm. It makes my day.
