Beautiful yarn……fabulous to work with!!
This yarn would be given to my girls who suffer from trichotillomania. We using knitting/crocheting/tatting/and sewing as a means to keep their hands busy so that they do not pull their hair or pick their skin. They make beanies for cancer patients, afghans for the elderly who cannot knit any longer, and use it to support each other. Some of what they make they keep for themselves but 90% of it is donated so that they can make someone else feel better 🙂
I found out about the giveaway from your newsletter. I would use the yarn to teach the ladies at my church to knit.
Ahhh!!! I found this giveaway on hour instagram and I would knit so many things I don’t even know where to start. My niece loves all the things I knit especially when I make dolls so I’ll of course make a lot of stuff for her!
I heard about the giveaway from one of your knitting YouTube tutorials. If I won all this yarn, first, I’d bury myself in it 🙂 And once I’d come to my senses again, I would use it to crochet lovely flowered headbands for little girls and teenages who have lost their hair from cancer.
I found out about this by Pinterest, your blog, Instagram, with all this yarn I would make things for my sister and clothing for homeless and also give it to people in hospitals who are sick so they have something to do

Hi Chandi, I found you on Facebook I think through Furls and the colour of your yarns drew me in, then learning more about you has been so much fun. You have such a factious positive personality! I first off would love to feel and see your yarn then I would quickly set to work I have never really made anything for myself and I would like to learn to make a summer top where I could layer a tank under it but unlike you I’m a plus size so I would need more yarn which gets costly. Then I would share the love with the seniors home my dad lives in. But most importantly I would love to donate a crochet cross for baptism in my church. Have you ever considered an etsy account? First of all, I’d like to say that this is such a lovely giveaway! I heard about you through instagram and have been following for probably over two years now. I have always adored your beautiful yarns, the colors are so lovely from sweet, whimsical ombres to rich, gorgeous solids.
If I won this giveaway I would use the yarn to fill my shop up with heaps of new hand crocheted designs. I’ve been buying the same old yarn for ages but dreaming of new, luxury yarns. I love seeing your posts in my feed on instagram because it keeps me dreaming and inspires me to keep going. I love your photos and how you show where the natural inspiration for your colors comes from. I hope to pass that same aesthetic into the designs I create with it. well, I could go on all day but I figure you’ll get tons of these comments so I’ll try to keep it short.
Thank you so much for this opportunity, this is like heaven for yarn lovers. <3

What beautiful yarn! I heard about this giveaway by surfing through your blog and website. I look forward to your emails every day! I can’t afford to buy any yarn like this at the moment, I’m stuck buying on sale acrylics at the local craft store, so I would probably save this yarn for the perfect pattern not only for myself but also as gifts. Like the new format! Love your stuff!
Hi! I entered this contest to try to win this wonderful prize for my 15 year old daughter Camryn. In the last year she has been addicted to knitting and crocheting and she loves it so much. She’s even looking to start selling her creations but is still working on her skills. Wish me luck!
What wouldn’t I be able to do! My first projects would be for charity (Kharma, I win, someone else wins!) Then I’d make the first item for myself I ever have! On the terribly unlikely chance there were yarns in the stash that I didn’t like/couldn’t use, I’d gift that to someone who needs it!

I check the website regularly for inspiration. If I had this yarn, it would help me complete my commitment of knitting shawls that are part of a nice charity auction that benefits my small town’s agencies, like emergency shelter for DV victims and food banks for those that can’t go anywhere else. I know that sounds hokey, but it is what it is. I give away almost all my FOs. So, why not knit, have fun and help the world?

My favorite times are her and I sitting on the couch crafting together. Her best friend also asked to be taught recently! We have to make sure these skills get passed to the next generation 🙂

just the subject line on the email telling me about the contest just about made me pass out – i would have SO much fun if i won this!
i have SO SO SO many projects in line to work on and try (i am still new to crochet) but my biggest problem is always time (i work full time and do this as a side business) and YOU NEVER HAVE THE RIGHT YARN FOR A PROJECT OR ENOUGH OF IT TO FINISH A PROJECT – no matter how much yarn you have (and i have a lot).
your yarn is so very gorgeous!
I heard about the giveaway through your email.
What would I do with all this yarn? I have knitter friends. If I won all this lovely yarn, I’d have knitter friends for life!!
I found the yarn give away while perusing your website. I am 67 and not very good on computers and it took me a while to figure out how to enter this contest since I am not on Facebook. There are two challenges I am committed to this summer. The first is teaching my 6 year granddaughter how to knit. I taught both my daughters how to knit when they turned six and intend to do the same for all the grandchildren – including the boy. The specific project I have in mind for the yarn in the give away is to knit every skein into a cowl or scarf and sell them through our local craft shop. I then donate the proceeds to a charity called Mindleaps which gets street children in Rwanda off the streets – and helps redirect them on a path to education which will cut the poverty cycle. I have found your writings very inspiring Chandi.
By email of course!
I heard about this thru the emails! I love these give-aways and would love to win!!!!
I first found you on Twitter I think. I wanna say it was either Moogly or wink@creativebeing who tweeted about you. I think you were in Alaska at the time and were fixing to move to NC. I finally bought some of your Resilience yarn and some Yak/Silk, and they are both amazing yarns!! I’m making shawls out of both of them for Breast Cancer patients here in Springfield, MO. I’m currently going through treatments for recurring uterine cancer. 2nd time around. I was knitting the hours away on a Joji sweater, and one of the nurses told me about the gifting for breast cancer patients. I was immediately on it! The first one I made was with Resilience yellow/white, and (now dear friend) loved it because it wasn’t PINK! 🙂 She’s been very brave, and it so inspires me! As does your yarn!! I had never made a shawl before so it was just basic. Last one was the Swirling Sea Cowl but doubled the length. I would definitely use the yarn for shawls/cowls for breast cancer patients. I have to make one for my chemo nurse first tho…she is also a cancer survivor. Thanks so much for your beautiful talent and keep up the good work!
Lovely yarn and I want ti all

Hi Chandi,
I have been following the beautiful yarn you create for a few years now! I don’t know how I first found you, but I remember noticing you were living in Alaska at the time. Finding a local talent like you thrilled me and I have been following your blog since. What I would do if I won this fabulous yarn giveaway? Probably the same I already do, make gifts for grandbabies, friends, and relatives as well as the Orphanage in Mexico my dear friend started:) If anyone would like more information to donate or volunteer for the Orphanage just ask. I am always happy to tell people about an opportunity to help kids.
I found the giveaway in your newsletter. I have been looking into branching out into more kinds of yarn, but money is incredibly tight, I’m on unemployment and my boyfriend is permanently disabled. I’ve started selling some of my creations for extra income, and have fallen in LOVE with the hand dyed yarns, and all the different types of fibers that Michaels doesn’t offer.
I heard about your beautiful yarn from your email this morning. I would love to make lace shawls for some very special friends. Thank you.

I wanted to learn to knit so I decided to look on youtube for how to videos when I came across yours. I’ve been knitting ever since. I already knew how to crochet. It is a little hard for me though to get yarn for projects sometimes beause I see a pattern that I like and usually I have to wait until the weekend to be able to go to a yarn store because the closest one to me is about an hours drive away. If I had this yarn I would be able to make more projects whenever I find one that I like. 🙂
Wow. This is definitely an amazing giveaway but I wouldn’t expect less from you!
Such beautiful yarn — I’d love to win but it’s okay if I don’t … I still have some of your lovely yarn!

I saw the giveaway on Facebook and if I won I would knit some shawls for my daughters, and share my new yarn with this elderly woman that resides in a nursing home that loves to knit and crochet, she just lights up when she receives a gift of yarn which I try to get to her once a month and I would give some to a dear friend of mine who has little money to spare for good yarn so I know she would be delighted as I gave her the last club purchase I bought because she loved it so much and I know she could never buy it herself!
If I won, I’d think I died and went to heaven. I’d make shawls, shawls, shawls! And other things, too. Gifts to give, things to sell. This is a wonderful giveaway. Thank you.

Love, love, love your emails and blog posts… not to mention your yarn!!! If I won, I’d make all manner of accessories (cowls, scarves, gloves, shawls, etc) as gifts for my gorgeous friends and family.
Hi and Thank you for the opportunity to win your beautiful yarn. You asked: What would I do with the yarn, I have a friend who loves to knit and does a lovely job but she in on a limited income and last time we went to a real yarn shop was last summer. So I would pile it all in my living room, call up my friend and ask her come over right away. After she gets over the shock of seeing such a pile, I would surprise her and share half the bounty. Then we would find a project we could do together for each of us and just enjoy the luxury of the yarn itself.
I heard about this giveaway from the newsletter. I love your yarn, Chandi, I absolutely do! I’m saving up so I can splurge on a skein or two, hopefully by the time my birthday comes around on May 17th. I would make shawls and scarves with all this yarn 🙂
Beautiful yarn! Not sure whether I would knit with it or just fondle it!

I just found out about your giveaway from a friend who lives in the Charlotte area and posted you to her FB page. What to do with all of the yarn? I could crochet more things and learn up knitting!

I saw this giveaway on Facebook and if I won I would share my new yarn with two people , a sweet lady in a nursing home that lives to knit and crochet and can’t get her own yarn for obvious reasons and a friend of mine that lives to knit but can’t afford really nice yarn so it would be a special treat for her as well!

I heard about this giveaway from tumblr. I’m currently a broke college student taking pre-med courses and trying to work on my mental health so i’ll be able to help others in the future. Only thing is the process can be overwhelming & the only thing that helps me cope is crouching and knitting considering it keeps my hands busy, pretty mindless, and i have control over someone, however yarn is pretty expensive (where the broke college kid comes into play).
I read about it in the News Letter., If I won I would be happily knitting for a long time 🙂
I would like to win the lottery so i could own multiple skeins of all colors. It would be a dream to have all of your product as it is my absolute favorite of all I have seen, So since I have better odds of winning your contest, I will be happy to win what you are offering and i will use with joy all the lovely items that yo u are giving to the winner. Maybe it will be me as dreams do come true!

I saw a post about the yarn giveaway in my Loomaholics group. As far as what I would do with the yarn, I have 5 grandchildren who love for me to make them things. They are all asking for afghans made by Grandma. Our daughter just found out she is expecting her first miracle baby. For many years she’s tried to get pregnant and was told by numerous doctors she would never have a baby. She is now 12 weeks and there are so many things I would love to make for the new baby. The yarn would definitely not go to waste. I also plan on knitting and crocheting hats and scarves for the school kids in need in our school district. We are in a small farming community and I see kids all the time with nothing on their heads to keep them warn. Thank you so much for this opportunity
I heard about this great give away from my daily e-mail from you! I have a bunch of things lined up to knit. Two pairs of socks, a long stole, and a shawl. Guess I better get knitting.

I heard about the giveaway through your mailing list.
I just stumbled across your blog a couple of weeks ago. Immediately fell in love with the May club kits and ordered one. The silk is so soft and saturated with color that I have trouble working with it – I catch myself stroking it and humming a happy little tune. I would love to share this experience with the ladies in the Knitting Knot at church. We knit and crochet prayer shawls, chemo and premie hats, comfort shawls and lapghans, etc. And we love beautiful fibers!
I found the giveaway in the email you send out. I just love your yarns! The colors melt my heart! The macaroon you introduced a couple of weeks ago was to dye for!

Then I would say over in over again I can’t believe I won, I can’t believe I won, I can’t believe I won. I found your yarn give-away on your website. I’m on your email list. I love looking at the beautiful yarns and your combinations of color. I haven’t bought any because it’s more expensive (and well worth the price) than what I normally buy. Lately I’ve been making baby clothes for two grand-cousins, and hats “on order” for a couple of friends (I give away, I don’t sell), but most of the time I make hats and shawls for the homeless. There are two charities I give4 them to. Sometimes they go to the volunteer dept. at the local VA, but not as often.
I would use the yarn to make more items to give away! The yarns look warm and would be nice to keep someone warm in the winter down here.
Thank you for your generosity, no matter who your yarns go to. I’m certain they will be thankful and turn into beautiful items.
I follow you on Facebook, and was ecstatic to see this month’s giveaway.
I think I would use your yarn to learn new skills and techniques. I’ve dabbled a little bit in crocheting clothing (like, sweaters and dresses, not just scarves and shawls), but would love to do more. I think getting so many beautiful skeins of yarn would push me over the edge to try some new things.
The giveaway looks awesome! Love reading your blog and your Facebook entries with the newest yarns!

I would share some with my mother and MIL who both make lots of charity items.
I saw this on someone else fb page and I should share the win with my clients at work
wow if I were to win I would first be yarn petting then have to pick out patterns and wipe the drool off the yarn
I* heard about through “Contests” I thought what a generous prize to try and win. I am a knitter from way, way back knitted for Children, grandchildren and now Great Grandchildren. There is nothing so rewarding to see them wearing my hand knitted outfits. I know they take more care in washing than the Wind cheaters. HUT the beauty and originality makes for looking great, I also think that wool in particular is so much warmer.
I’d make special gifts for family. I normally make gifts using rather inexpensive yarns (because they’re so budget friendly) and it’d be wonderful to work with these yarns.
Great givaway! I love it!
<3
I found out about this through your youtube videos.
If I win this then I will make sweaters and scarfs and give it to those who can’t effort warm clothes during winter
U get your emails, and U am thinking shawls, like your latest free pattern
Your yarn is soooo beautiful! That’s a awesome giveaway! ♥
I found out about this giveaway from Twitter — since I’ve been following you for quite some time now 🙂 I’m planning to open up a quaint little online shop soon and winning the yarn will help me with having more yarn to work with~ I also plan on making bags and beanies for my loved ones ♡ Thanks for the giveaway! ♡
Chandi, I love your yarn. The butterfly beret was the easiest pattern for a knitted hat that I have people asking me to make them one too. I would love to win the give away so that I can try other types of yarn that you have and not just the superwash merino (which is FABULOUS!!!!!!!). Love getting email updates and instagram photos updates as well. The yarn that you make is just beautiful. You have a wonderful eye for color and colorways. Thanks for creating some great yarn for all of us who knit and crochet.
Thanks for the chance to win! I heard through your newsletter =) I would make myself some clothes! I am always making things for someone else or to sell, it is time for my own squishies!
Your yarn is so beautiful and the way you photograph it is so creative. If I won your yarn, I would use some of it for myself. I have lost two children, one to a heart defect at 14 months of age and a second child – my precious miracle baby boy to a massive stroke at 10 days of age. I am finding crafting to be therapeutic again. I would also like to make items for sick children/babies because I know how meaningful those kind of gifts have been for us….
Thanks for the amazing giveaway!
Chandi;
Your yarns are absolutely phenomenal. I can’t get enough of them! Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us!
I read about this through your newsletter. So excited! I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed for this amazing giveaway.
Love contests!!!
I learned of this giveaway through the E-mails I signed up for.
I found out about the giveaway through email. If I won, I would make all the gifts for family and friends that I’ve wanted to make over the years 🙂
Hi, i discovered your blog via youtube where i learn how to get along with my knittingmania… thanks for your explanations, they’re clear and adapted to learners… If i had to win this tresure i’d have no more excuses to not knit huge bed covers for my goddaughters 🙂
I entered last month after seeing it on a craft blog. I would make all sorts like knee blankets for hubby with arthritis and share with my crafty grand daughter Thanks for the chance
I heard about this giveaway from both Instagram and your Newsletter. I would spend some time just drooling over the yarn, touching and loving, then I would make shawls, cowls, and baby blankets.
I received your email about the entry time. I also follow you on all social media sites and see the entry notices there as well 🙂 All of your yarn colors are just beautiful! If I won I’d make different patterns out of it. One thing that I really want to make is a poncho for the winter. When I go out I’m in a wheelchair and it’s hard always having to put on & take off a coat. So this is one of the must have patterns that I will be making before the next winter arrives and hopefully out of one of your beautiful colored yarns!!
Love the colors ^_^ Good luck everyone.
Heard about you from my friend Sandra Beckham Miller 🙂
I just love the color variations of you yarn and I look forward to your giveaways. Your crocheting videos are what got me into teaching myself how to crochet. Since then, so many people have asked me to make them something. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many, including myself.
I found your giveaway in your email. If I won all this yarn, I would freak out. Thanks for doing such a wonderful giveaway!
I heard about this and I think it’s a wonderful idea!
*Heard about this on Pinterest* (sorry, got so excited I didn’t proofread!)
Hi, Just dropped by to see your pictures of the Julietta shawl you made last year for your mom — that was how I found you and EFA! I was already a Berniolli fan (she designed the original shawl) and had to get a skein of the yak silk in the turquoise color, and am just now getting around to starting the project.
I have entered the giveaways before, but they are popular! And I am not on Facebook or other social services (just Ravelry).
I hope this finds you happy and well!

I saw the sweepstakes on Instagram and Facebook. I absolutely love your yarns. I’ve been following your Blog, Instagram and Facebook for more than a year now. I can still remember when I received my first order and fell in love with the yarn. Don’t ever stop what you are doing! Thank you so much…
I found your blog and this giveaway through an Internet search …. what would I do if I won all this fabulously gorgeous yarn?! …. I would crochet, crochet, crochet and crochet some more 😀
I heard about this from your newsletter. I just received a vintage sock knitting machine and would use the yarn to knit socks and hats for gifts.
I love your yarn. It is always so beautiful and soft. I am a fairly new knitter, only 6 months but it is so relaxing and I have so much fun knitting.
I love your yarn, but who Doesn’t? I would just go nuts trying to figure out all the wonderful things I could make!
I heard of the give away through your email. If I won? Well, I’d be in heaven and my family probably wouldn’t see me for a few weeks 😉
So wonderful! The yarn looks beautiful 🙂 I saw this giveway on your blog. I would definitely use this yarn to crochet gifts for my family and friends (5 birthdays coming up in June!).
I heard from the giveaway via your Newsletter, that I always love – so much to drool over! If I’d win – for sure I’d take a bath in all the yarn, snuggle with it… and then I would crochet until my joints won’t let me anymore! Some things would be made for charity – in Nepal the people need help after the earthquake, winter will be there soon; another project I donate self made hats and scarfs for is bringing stuff to the refugees of the religious war, who are now in camps under very bad conditions in turkey.
But of course I would also make stuff for myself and indulge in all the greatness of your yarns and colors!
I love this yarn. I would make gift for my family and teach my kids to knit.
I heard of the give away through your email. I would love to win and try out some of your yarns. They are all so pretty, which makes it very difficult to choose from.
These yarns are gorgeous!!! I would be over the moon to win such a prize package – the wonderful things I could create and share!!! 😀
Your yarn is just to die for! I recently put in a large order and while I’ve worked with some, I spend most of my time just staring at it. Kind of weird, but I’m a yarn fanatic! I heard about your giveaway because I’m subscribed to your newsletter and I read everything you send through it. It’s often a temptation I have to resist when I read them, because of all the gorgeous colors.
I heard about your monthly giveaway on your YouTube channel. I’ve only just started knitting (and I love it), so it would be great to get a huge start on my yarn stash. I started knitting so I can knit a Harry Potter scarf for myself; that’s going to be my first ‘big’ project.
Hi, signed up for your newsletter, looked at your website and found your blog and the giveaway. How generous. Good luck to everyone. I’m a fairly new knitter and have discovered Ravelry, so I’m sure I have put enough patterns in my library to use up all this yarn (ha). Thanks for the chances to win.
I heard about your giveaway through Instagram.
I have been searching for the perfect craft to keep myself busy since I am mostly homebound. My sister loves to crochet, so I started checking it out. But when I found a video of yours on Pinterest, “How to Knit- Absolute Beginner Knitting,” I discovered that knitting is more for me.
I have been wanting to start my own Etsy shop, but haven’t found a craft that is easy enough to do with the little energy that I have. I have an autonomic nervous system disorder called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I have always been involved in art, but was forced to stop, along with school and work, after I became sick just over one year ago. I am 22 years old and want to be involved in society despite being homebound.
I still love art and I love knitting. This yarn giveaway would allow me to further my knitting skills and contribute to society through opening an Etsy shop. My Etsy shop will help raise money for Dysautonomia International’s POTS Antibodies Research Fund.
I love your yarns! All of the beautiful colors, the quality, and your passion shines through your Instagram page and gives me inspiration. Thank you for sharing your passion and talent. I hope to continue to learn from you through your blog, website, and videos.
I found your blog and giveaway through Pinterest. I am newer to crochet the yarn would be a wonderful way to start a stash.
I heard about this giveaway through facebook. I love the colors of your yarn and it looks like my favorite (Lavender Ice Cream) may be in the giveaway this month…. Which would make me super happy to win this. If I win I would plan on making various clothing items for the family and friends that have asked me to make them things. Though if Lavender Ice cream yarn is in this giveaway, I would keep it and make something for myself. 🙂

I hear about the give away from email and Facebook. If I win… oh, my mother always said not to count my chickens before they’re hatched.
Saw this giveaway on FB and entered. I would use the yarn to make shawls and afghans . I have a couple of people that want to learn to crochet and I would let them use some of my yarn to learn to make an afghan or shawl/wrap. Nothing like helping others learn a new skill and perpetuating the art of crocheting.
I saw a twitter post about the giveaway. If I win, I’ll spend a lot of time fondling and admiring it, then use it to make things for my wife and daughter and myself.
I am on your newsletter list and enjoy seeing all the lovely yarns that you have. I would use the yarn to make gifts and to also make beanies, scarves and other items for the local hospital’s chemo department.

If I had all this yarn I would share some with my disabled roommate who loves to crochet and the rest I would probably search for the perfect patterns to make awesomeness! Knitting or crocheting is my stress relieving therapy, and your yarns just make therapy something I can’t wait to get to.

I know you through your lovely yarn, through Facebook. I am home with a “migraine”, or Daily Persistent Headache Disorder, since 2/19/2014. Knitting helps take my mind off the pain. I would give some of this yarn to my church for others to make stuff for the annual penny sale. I would make gifts for my friends and of course lovely items for myself. (I would get first dibs :))

I got this thru a friend. I would make a lot of blankets
I heard about it through Facebook and e-mail.
I absolutely love your YouTube channel! Last winter I decided I was going to learn how to crochet and after buying a “how to” book at the local Hobby Lobby I quickly learned I needed more help! That’s when I discovered you on YouTube and I have been hooked. (No pun intended!) I quickly began to making and selling items to friends and family. I now have an inventory in a local antique shop. My husband and I used the money that I made from crochet to buy Christmas gifts for our little boys.
I’m currently working with the youth and young adults at our church making hats and scarves to give away to the homeless population in the Dayton, Ohio area. We have plenty of volunteers and very little yarn. We are hoping to have at least 100 hats made by November. Ohio winters can be brutal! And a portion of the yarn would also be used to make hats for the children in the local Head Start program.
Love your yarn and giveaways.
Your site is lovely! I’m so glad I found it.
I again saw this on facebook. Still would love to win all of you goodies. Your yarns are so lush and user friendly. The colors are fantastic. Thank you.
I found out about this giveaway through your Facebook page. If I had won the giveaway it would help me learn to crochet and knit. I’d like to keep it up and learn to master the art. I’d use what I make for garments for myself as well as gifts for friends and family.
Thanks for another lovely giveaway!I hear about your lovely giveaways because I’m on your email list. I’d make some hats, fingerless gloves, maybe some socks and maybe a scarf. Some would be for me, some would be gifts.

What would I do with it?
Hug it, squish it, pet it, stroke it, sniff it, gaze at it.. and I might actually make something too!!
I heard about this through Pinterest. If I win I have no idea what I would make with the yarn until I received it and let it tell me what it wanted to be!
I read about the May giveaway in one of the newsletter posts in email. Right now I am in the shawl craze, I have a few patterns waiting for the yarn, and needles so to say. I would also have to share the wealth if I received the yarn. Thank you for the chance to win.

I heard about the giveaway on your website….I would knit/crochet prayer shawls with the yarn
I learned of your giveaway via your fb page and know that you do them monthly. I also get your newsletter and know all of your yarns thru that and your fb page. I think your yarn is beautiful, and I’m truly impressed with all of your yarn related skills! I’d crochet special garments for myself, make all of the lovely patterns from my special to-do list, do gifts for loved ones (not meaning only relatives) who appreciate my crochet, use more of my less expensive yarn to be able to make more items for donations, and design better pieces since I’d have better yarn to make the pieces with.

Your yarn is always catching my attention! You have an eye for color! 😉
HI! I’ve been on quite the adventure today, getting to the point where I heard about the giveway. It started (really it started a couple weeks back when I started being tagged for an instagram giveway, eventually I followed you) with an instagram post, which moved me from phone to laptop to do a spot of shopping :), and then a bit of investigating (I manage a LYS) and a trip to ravelry to discover that you actually are not all that far from us, and then from ravelry to the blog and here I am. 😀
saw on facebook. crochet and knit and weave
I heard about your giveaway on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. If I won all this beautiful yarn, I would knit them into baby blankets and shawls! 🙂

I found the giveaway on Facebook, but I clicked over there from the Selfish Knitters and Crocheters group on Ravelry, where someone posted about your Free Skein Day 🙂 Would it be selfish to admit I’d probably stash the yarn if I won? It’d be used to make lovely things for family for Christmas. I’d probably share with my knittery friends, too.
I found about the giveaway while I was searching for a tutorial in Google. If I win I’ll be crocheting and knitting (it’s been a while since I last knitted) for my kids and my niece.

Wondering what the special extra will be when I receive it. I would definitely be making some things for my 7 granddaughters. More importantly I will make a donation to our church for making hat’s for the homeless, of which my oldest granddaughter is a part of. Thank you for another awesome give away! Take care.
I’m gonna make some tops for my kids.
I was doing a Bing search for Yarn and I saw this and could not believe my eyes! I have posted some of your video links on my facebook group Crochet and Knit Together in the past but I never saw this giveaway. We are a small group just getting started. I am on disability and one day I thought I would put my mother’s teaching to work and started knitting again now that my seven children are all out on their own. I am trying to knit blankets for each of my children, 5 grand children and four significant others so that they have something to remember me by since I have nothing to leave behind due to a burglar coming into my home in the middle of the night and robbing me blind! It is so very expensive and is taking a long time because I really can’t afford it on my limited income. All that yarn would help me in my projects.
Ohh, I heard about this from my daughter!
After I rolled around in all the yarn like a cat, I would probably force myself to learn to crochet as well as knit. On the give away side, I make mitts and hats for the students at my school many of whom come to Canada from warm countries and have never seen snow (or mittens!).
I heard about this through a friend’s post on Facebook.

I saw a free skein offer on Ravelry, followed the trail to find EFA, loved everything I saw, placed an impulse order and joined the newsletter. Then I checked out the blog and saw the giveaway! I saw your giveaway on FB. I am new to knitting and am working on building a quality stash! 🙂
I saw you on pinterest. We live in Siberia. I would make stockings, hats, and mittens for my three little girls.
As someone on a nonprofit salary supporting my partner, I can’t even dream of being able to afford this kind of quality yarn for my knitting obsession. I would love to have an opportunity to make myself some indulgent socks and make some gorgeous gifts for friends and family.
The first time I saw you was in a how to knitting video on youtube. Very clear and simple. Then I started seeing your patterns on Ravelry, which led me to your blog! Awesome.
I saw it after seeing your YouTube video (and subscribing) then registering on your website. Once I confirmed registering for updates, I saw you have a blog. Moseyed over to the blog and saw this post. So exciting! Thanks for the opportunity!

Hi! I just started knitting. A friend of mine invited me to a knitting class at the mall, joined her and now hooked! I would love to have this beautiful yarn, be able to make new projects with it. Share with my friend too!!
I heard about the giveaway directly from your blog! If I won I would have to give some of the yarn away to coworkers that I’m teaching knit and crochet to. Then I want to knit shawls and summery tops for myself and for my mom.
I heard about the giveaway from my daughter, who knits and crochets. She is always talking about how gorgeous your yarns are! She is going to make something special for me with your beautiful yarn 🙂
I found your giveaway on instagram and I’d make so many beautiful toys, beanies, accessories, clothing, etc. For my beautiful 6 year old niece. She loves making arts and crafts and loves when I make stuff from something simple such as yarn!
I heard about your giveaway by clicking the blog link on your website. BEAUTIFUL YARN! My sister steered me in your direction as she absolutely loves your yard. What I would do with it … my mother just recently passed away. In 2000, she had breast cancer … so, when you asked what I would do with it, the first thing that popped into my head was to make cancer toques/hats. This yarn would be PERFECT as it is so incredibly soft. And, the colorways … so much fun! I would get my sister to help me out. It would warm our hearts to do something in memory of our mother!
Such a beautiful giveaway!
Thank you so much for this chance to win.
I searched on Google for yarn giveaways and here I was for which I am really glad. My baby would be born in November, after I lost my little son to an unknown disease last year. I would love to make for my new baby ( who I really feel IS my son coming back) and of course for my daughter who has suffered enough along with us.
I started following you on Instagram and I love seeing all the beautiful colorways and their inspiration pictures! This is an outrageously generous giveaway and I honestly don’t know what I would knit first 🙂 However, I know that the first project that I would knit up would be for my daughter.
This yarn would be perfect for some warm socks and a baby surprise jacket!
socks. so many socks.
i found this giveaway right here on your blog! i came to check your website out after watching one of your tutorials on youtube.
Love your yarn! The colors you create are to die for.
Heard on Facebook, and newsletter. Love the yarns, and since my husband just got out the hospital, I could use the stress relief.

I would have to see what was in the give a way to see how I could use it on the raverly patterns or patterns from Pamela Wynne.
You are so skilled and I love your yarn and the names you come up with colorways! I follow you pretty much everywhere, but this month I entered the contest via facebook. Thank you for your generosity!
I would love to win thus contest. I crochet a lot and am now making a lot of blankets for babies to keep them warm.

I found this giveaway on FaceBook. I follow both your page there and your blog, and love your colorful yarn! Currently I am waiting to see how the crochet pattern you just posted will turn out–the colors are perfect. I would love to win this giveaway, as I do both knit and crochet and have lots of children, grand-children, and great-grand-children to supply with handmade “pretties:!!
I heard about this giveaway on Facebook and Instagram!! If I win I would knit my hands off and then knit myself a new pair.
A friend shared info on this giveaway on facebook. I would love to win and use this yarn to make Christmas gifts for my family.
I discovered the giveaway on facebook. What an incredible opportunity to win such beautiful yarn. The possibilities are endless and I would enjoy exploring a variety of patterns with this and sharing with others to enjoy as well!
So glad you started the Expression Fiber Arts June 2015 KAL…I am so looking forward to the mystery. I bought some Fuzzy Caterpillar and Cantelope; when they arrive, I will pick which one…I’m leaning toward the Fuzzy…
You have the most beautiful feeling yarns and amazing “color-put-togethers.” I look forward to looking on your website for your new ideas…The shipping is fast and I love that you occasionally offer “free” patterns. I love giving your yarn as gifts to my friends and what they make with it. My daughter just recently learned to knit, so I have a new person to give on my list!!! Thank you, Chandi…
I would probably use this yarn to make a bunch of cozy shawls because that’s what I like to make the most. Maybe some hats… and gloves… a sweater.
Also realized all the entries I put in are under Nicy and not nichole. I follow you on Facebook now so that’s how I saw your giveaway.
I heard about your giveaway from your Twitter post! 🙂 I would be making socks for gift giving if I won! 🙂
I adore the pearlescent yarns!!!
I saw this giveaway on Instagram! I would use this yarn to make everything imaginable (and maybe roll around in it for a while)
My friend Jessie told me about you. She introduced me to nicer yarns, all I would use was redheart. Now I try to by nicer, luxurious yarn when I can because they feel better and make really gorgeous baby garments. I would split the yarn between myself, Jessie and my mother in law who all crochet.
I just got my first order from you and absolutely love the yarn! The first thing I’d make would be a Hitofude for my tiny grandmother – she made a request and now I just need to find the right color!
I found this giveaway on Instagram. I would love, love, love to win. If I won, I would roll around in all the squishy goodness. Then I would probably make something for the 10 babies I’m currently knitting for – all due to arrive throughout the year!
Found this through the google. My baby would have so much homemade stuff.
It is so generous of you to give away free yarns. God Bless you . May He increase your business many
more fold, for the LOVELY colours in the dye created with each skein, through your skill.
So many to DROOL over…..so many more to YEARN for.
I found your yarn on Pinterest and think it is beautiful! I am expecting a baby girl in June and would love to make her some fall and winter clothing.
Hi Chandi,
I found out about your fabulous contest from your pin on Pinterest. I have a huge folder on my computer of knitting patterns I want to make, as well as a board on Pinterest with even more ideas. I learned how to knit in February, and I’ve been knitting up a storm since then, continually challenging myself to learn new stitches and techniques. I would use the yarn from this contest to make as many of the projects in my folder and on my Pinterest board as possible — more specifically, I would love to use your gorgeous yarn to knit my very first sweater!
What a wonderful gift, I know I’d class it as a gift rather than a win. I LOVE the colours you come up with for your yarn.
good luck to everyone that’s entered.
I found your sweepstakes when a knitting friend ear-burned me on Instagram. Your yarn is beautiful! I would probably spend a little time admiring the yarn before deciding what it was destined to become. And least a portion of it would become something for other people.
I have no idea what I’ll make with all that yarn! I’m sure I’ll be inspired when I see it in person. 😉
I found this contest on accident. I just learned how to knit last night using your tutorial and came to check out the website! I hope I win! 😀
I’m a long time follower but first time ‘enterer’. I found your YouTube videos then started following you on Instagram. I don’t do Pinterest, and really haven’t figured out twitter yet but I do believe I follow you on Facebook.
What would I do with the yarn? Some of it would be for the neonatal ward at our local children’s hospital. The lighter weight yarns would be perfect for tiny premmies. Even worsted weight is bulky and scratchy for them.
I love your work and you inspire me constantly with your ideas and creativity. I’m normally a crocheter but would love to be a better knitter. My latest attempt I made a neck warmer for my nephew, half knitted – then when I was short on time I finished it up with crochet. He loves it.
I saw the comp on fb , i was already a fan of yours on there 🙂
Oh what I would do if I won a giveaway of yours! Lately I’ve been looking for some DK or Fingering in an awesome colorway to try making my aunt a prayer shawl.
A. Friend forwarded a facebook posting about the contest
I herd about this giveaway through the Facebook page. I love your yarn and tutorials because of your tutorials on how to knit I learned how to finally knit and I’m hooked and love making headbands scarves and trying to learn to do a blanket and much more other things as I only started this past October and did I mention I love it thank you for teaching me to knit! 🙂
As usual, with the newsletter.
And I’d do A LOT of pretty presents for my friends and family.
I saw the contest on facebook and if I won, I’d give some to friends and knit up the rest.

Hi, I know this give away from googling. I really wish to have yarns without burden my parents to buy it for me. Then suddenly I think about yarn giveaway. After googling for a while, suddenly your blogs appears and I am really really excited. This is my first time knowing about your blog and it’s all really inspiring.
With these yarns, firstly I want to knit a pair of sock for my father. I also want to knit an infinity-loop shawl for my mother. Then I want to make a sweater for my twins. Hi—–I saw your yarns on Pintrest and came across the yarn giveaway. It all looks so beautiful. I would knit some of it and give some of it away to friends.
I learned about this giveaway from your blog. I discovered your blog after watching your tutorial ‘How to knit – absolute beginner’.
2 years ago, our Nana passed away before she had the opportunity to teach me to knit and crochet. It was one of those things that we talked about but never got around to doing. She gave me an old knitting and crochet book on one of our last visits, which I shelved thinking we still had time to get to that later.
2 years on, I found the book, which had fallen down behind the shelves. I flipped through it and found she had taken the time to mark certain pages and to leave little notes of encouragement on some of the pages. It was such a sweet surprise that I am now determined to learn.
With your gorgeous yarn giveaway, I’d love to be able to knit hats and scarves and crochet little granny square blankets like Nana used to.
I would knit and knit and knit and then knit some more.
I would use it to make Sophie. For me! Everything I make gets given away.
Love all the yarn. I just ordered more from you and would love to win this stash. If I win, I’ll be making tons of gifts. Keep up the beautiful work!!!
HI,
I bumped on this page while looking for crochet related posts. I’d love to receive this yarn to crochet toys and blankets for my kids and loots of granny squares that’ll be given away at a Christmas auction for toys for children.
Thank you

I get your newsletter so that’s where I heard about the giveaway. I’d love to make a nice shawl with some of the yarn. Thanks! 🙂
I heard about this yarn giveaway on Facebook and in my email account.
I was browsing the internet for creative ways to stash up on yarn and then I stumbled upon this website. There is a crochet club in my school that is dedicated to making blankets and hats for donation to nursing homes and even, at times, the homeless as well as making bracelets to sell for profit so that we can by more yarn. However, our supply has been running low for almost a month now and we cannot continue to donate without sufficient yarn. With this yarn, I would like to give it to the crochet club in my school so that we can meet or donation quota before the school year ends.
I found this giveaway on the website. I would use the yarn to make gifts for friends and family and maybe a little something for me too 🙂
pretty baby projects!
I heard about this giveaway in an email. I would use this yarn to make beautiful things for my daughters and grandchildren.

I found out about this awesome giveaway by searching “Yarn giveaway” on google. haha
I had never heard of your website and now I’m glad I did!
With all of that yarn, I want to yarn bomb my house. And my neighbors house. And the mayor’s house.
haha.
But really, I love to crochet amigurumi. It’s my relaxation, my happiness and the only way my husband can go hours without hearing me. ha!

I found the giveaway page through the website. I absolutely fell in love with all of the gorgeous colorways and just put in for my third order. I’ve been making shawls, blankets, and stuffed animals to donate to the local Pantry and EMS service for those in need, and that’s where all of the yarn would go, if I won. I can just imagine all of the gorgeous toys and warm shawls already!
Heard about it from your instagram 🙂 LOve it!
I have followed on Facebook for a long time, always inspired by your yarns and patterns! I saw the giveaway from there. If I was lucky enough to win all the BEAUTIFUL yarn, each one would be a very special project. I’m sure I would ponder for a while before picking that perfect pattern for each one!
Hi Chandi. I just watched your Youtube video series on How to Knit for Beginners. I come from a small island in the Caribbean and I’ve always been very creative and love doing crafty things. My mom was a seamstress most of her life and I learned alot about sewing from her. Also, i come from a family that’s pretty good creating things with our hands, Just last year I used my creativity with sculpting cake and now people pay me to make creative cake art. Anywhoo… knitting and crocheting were the two things I’d really love to learn to do but just couldn’t pick up on the techniques because books weren’t clear enough for me to understand how to do it and most who did tutorials would go too fast and I would just give up trying to figure it out. But I came across your youtube channel and I FINALLY GET IT YAY! I would love to win this months yarn give away so I can play around and see where my creativity leads me. Also I would be able to make clothes for myself and my little toddler and blankets, bags and put my caribbean style into it. It would also help me to find ways to save money ( if I can make it I won’t have to by it, you know what I mean) and being young family here on a very tight budget every opportunity to save money makes a big difference (especially where I’m from). Anywhoo I hope you pick me. Even if I’m not picked I just want to say thank you very much for your youtube postings please continue to post more. You’re great in explaining knitting and crocheting. I can’t watch more of your videos. God Bless You!
I learned of the giveaway on your blog and email. I would continue learning stitches and techniques since I have been knitting since January. And continue to grow my stash! Thank you!
Found via your website. If I won I would share with my beautiful Mum who has had a very hard time lately. She rarely uses hand dyed and I would love to share it with her!
I found out about this give away because I’ve been following your Facebook page for 2? years now. With all this yarn I would bring it to my new home in Rhinebeck and make a Rhinebeck sweater out of it!
I found you by following the yarn link on a Ravelry posted pattern. I usually knit for gift giving and charity. If I received this yarn, I would make myself something beautiful. Thank you for providing such a wonderful give away.
I don’t know what I would do with all that lovely yarn – but I am sure I would be inspired once I had it to create beauty!! And I know about the monthly contest because . . . . .I have been a customer for almost a year – more than a year? What I do you is that your yarn is beautiful to look at and to work with
Chandi,
YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO KNIT!!! I am very excited about this new found joy in my life. You made it so easy and although I have not tackled any big projects I have managed to keep something going all the time, mostly washcloths (I just love them)
Anyway, I am surprised that I had not visited your blog sooner, I found your videos on YouTube in January of this year.
I buy yarn whenever I can, mostly cotton. We have a small yarn/gift shop in the town I live in and I get a lot of things there but sometimes when I go into Chapel Hill I scoot by ACMoore and browse and browse and usually come out with a few things. I made hats and scarfs when I first started knitting in January and I would like to make a few more for family members.
If I won this yarn giveaway I would pile that yarn all over my bed and meticulously go over every skein to enjoy the colors and textures, then I would figure out what to make first!! I get excited about yarn, which if you knew me 20 years ago you would laugh at the fact that “Barbara knits???” lol.
Funny story: I was knitting one evening and my fiancé and my son (15) were in the living room with me. Brian my fiancé started joking around with me and I hollered out “stop playing while I’m yarning”! Well, they both fell into laughter mocking me “you’re yarning” hahahaha. The term “yarning” caught on quickly and I have yet to live that down.
I have gone on and on, but I do hope that I have conveyed some gratitude for you and your wonderful tutorials that have brought something absolutely incredible into my life! Thank You and Kindest Regards, Barbara
Lovely giveaway! My daughter, who is a Girl Scout, would be the real winner here because she’s recently gotten into knitting. 🙂
Oh and I found y’all through a google search. 🙂
I follow on FB and Pintrest. I check out the FB page daily as you post the most beautiful yarns!!
I heard about this on Twitter and I would love to splurge and make something special just for me!
I heard about this just through searching for yarn giveaways. Love your photography! What I would do with the yarn, well….nuzzle it for awhile, and then start combing through my patterns and searching for something unique online to make with it. I never need a reason to have yarn…it just needs to make its home with me! HEHEH!
found via Twitter
I found the KAL on Ravelry, went to your shop and bougth yarn (sorry yarndiet..) klicked a bit and found this giveaway. I´m a knittaholic but with this much yarn I´d spred some of this yarnlove to other knittaholics at the willage where I spend my summers to knit things and sell to get money to the “Halna byggdegård” They have a day every summer when people donate hommade cockies (103 different last year). You pay less then 15 USD and eat all you can.
I heard about this giveaway through Tumblr. I’m relatively new to fiber arts, but I’m loving it. I’m bookmarked some amazing ravelry shawls and cowls just waiting for great yarn choices!
I saw a tweet about the giveaway, and as I’ve heard a lot about your yarn, but never used it myself I thought why not give it a go. This is a lot of yarn, so while I’d like to say I always know exactly what I’m going to do with every yard I come across, I don’t always know until the right project comes my way. Sometimes I order yarn with the project in mind. Sometimes I get my hands on a skein and say “Oh this would be perfect for blah blah blah”. Occasionally I’ll get yarn in hand and create a pattern for it because something about it calls for something special.
I can tell you, with certainty, that I make prayer shawls for a charity I’m near and dear to. I make hats for my local NICU and oncology ward. I also make sets of various warm baby things for an orphanage in China that close friends have adopted from. When I’m not moving the needles for charity, I like to keep my own two little girls in woolies, as well as my husband when he’s lucky, and myself when I feel like I need a wool hug. I like to pay it forward when I’m able, so I’ll likely gift a portion of this to a knitter in need who might not be able to afford such nice yarn, but would emotionally benefit from the gift.
I heard about this awesome giveaway from your email newsletter. If I won, I would share the yarn with my aunt.
Read about your giveaway on facebook. I love all your yarn and have a pretty good sized stash going. The hardest part is finding the perfect pattern to show of your lovely yarn!
I follow you already but I saw the giveaway on http://contestchest.com/
If I won I would have lots of crocheting to do. Maybe for Christmas gifts.
Ran across the website via youtube, trying to find some good “learn how to crochet” videos. Awesome! Winning would give me a great start!
I heard about your give away via a friend on FB. there are so many options of things to do.
I heard from you as I receive your emails. Thanks for the chance and for the great giveaway.

Hi! I found you via your youtube videos, I am a beginner at knitting but finger knit & make poms poms, ha ha. If I was lucky enough to win this stash I would be in absolute heaven &I’m pretty sure I would be a knitting pro by the time I gt through it all!
Watched a couple of your tutorials and really enjoyed them. My daughter and I have recently learned to knit and I ran across some stitches I didn’t know how to do so I went searching for help. I didn’t find the stitches yet but will keep looking. My daughter has been selling her arm knitted scarves the past few years and decided she wanted to add regular knitted items this year. the income she makes is helping off set the cost of graduate school. Winning free yarn would be a huge help with her profit!!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
I follow you everyday!!! Love your yarn and would so love to win this or any other stash!!
i heard about it from you cause i enter your contests every month!! Maybe one day I will win 🙂 If I did, I’d make scarves, mittens and socks for my family
