Hello, my sweet friend! Today, I have a lovely knitted sock pattern to share with you. Worked from the cuff down and featuring an easy Seed Stitch pattern, these socks are cute as a button! Keep reading to learn all about them!

The Seeded socks were designed by Becca Leith. When asked about the inspiration for this design, Becca said, “Seeded is a sock pattern inspired by the look of freshly planted seeds in the ground. Looking at the seeds pop out of the dirt before you cover them up gives you a moment to pause and imagine what the seeds will eventually grow into.”

“This sock pattern is designed with simplicity in mind. The top is entirely in Seed Stitch, and the bottom is in Stockinette. The socks are ankle length, have a 2×2 rib cuff, and are available in five sizes.”

This Intermediate level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include German Twisted Cast On, grafting, decrease stitches, using DPNs, picking up stitches, and following written instructions. The pattern includes written instructions only.

The Seeded socks are available in five US women’s sizes: XS (S, M) (L, XL), which correspond to foot circumferences of 6 (7, 8) (9, 10)” / 15 (18, 20) (23, 25) cm when measured at the ball of the foot and blocked. The sample shown here was made with Mookaite Resilient Sock, and you’ll need one skein for all sizes.
