If I had one yarn superpower…it would definitely be ends that instantly wove themselves in!
No ends to weave in, just continuous yarn exactly as long as the project needs. Failing that, any extra leftover yarn poofs away and gets refunded
The ability to calculate exactly how much yarn I really need for a project.
Oh that would be a dream come true not having to weave an end would lessen my pile of unfinished projects
Insta-blocking would be amazing! That or instantly knowing your gauge+pattern size.
The superpower I wish I had is perfect fit on every project. No more maths! 🙈
My superpower is definitely hand rolling leftover yarn balls and making cat blankets for the cat shelters as well as blankets for the elderly. Be well😘
My superpower would be to just know how to make things. No pattern needed.
Instant blocking would be amazing, as would every item being a perfect size/fit.
Hmmmmm. First Super Power, wiggle my nose and ends are weaved in perfectly. Second, no matter what I make it blocks itself and fits perfectly.
I may need to change power 2 into the 1st lol
My superpower would be to always have the perfect yarn on hand for the project I want to knit 💕🧶
Oh that the ends are woven in whit a snip of the fingers! That would be true magic
Instant end weaving!
I would definitely want the ability to have all of my ends woven in with just a snap of my fingers.
My superpower would be to crochet a garnet using my favorite chunky hook and just snap my fingers to shrink it to guage.
My yarn super power would be endless time! While I am grateful for my career of caring for others having time to create all things beautiful with crochet (and maybe someday knit) would be a dream! I enjoy both worlds now. I guess retirement will come soon enough 💕!
My superpower would probably be ability to spawn yarn in.
The superpower I want most is never running out of yarn midway through a project!
Hi Chandi and Team!
The super power I would love to have is like rumple stilt skin, to be able to spin a cotton stitching thread into your super fantastic yarn bases, not anyone in particular but for every thread a different base. Greedy or what!
My super power would be to never have to sew things together!
I would prefer to have Instant blocking after completing all the projects!! I love your yarn!
Superpower… Never having to weave in ends, the yarn keeps flowing until the project is complete! 😆
Instant blocking would be a dream come true!
Instant starting would be good, too, just enough to motivate me to get busy! 😉
Instantly sew pieces of a pattern together perfectly!
My crocheting super power would be to understand any crochet pattern that I read, like a walking dictionary. Then, I could make anything!!!
Instant blocking would be awesome but I think I’d choose having yarn for my makes 💙🧶💙
A superpower of yarn rolling itself into the perfect ball that never tangles!
My superpower would be pattern reading
My superpower would be perfect guard every time!
If I had a yarn superpower it would be able to speed up my crocheting and knitting x10 or x20, a sort of fast forward. I have those projects that i enjoy starting but halfway through I’m ready to start something new, especially when the seasons are changing and I’m still finishing up something I may not be able to wear or give away in time. Going into speed mode would allow me to finish those projects and UFOs.
I would like to be able to know exactly how much yarn I will need for a project.
Hello! My super power would to be not having to another gauge swatch, I would always get it right without one!
Thanks,
Sharon
I’d like to always have a string of reliable projects on the needles, things I can easily pick up and put down, never feeling like I’m stuck on something, or have projects that need working out, or a lot of concentration, etc.
Greetings, kindred soul,
Thank you for sharing this beautiful bounty of yarn. I can nearly feel the magic woven into each strand, and it stirs the old, earthy spirit within me. It looks amazing!
If I could have one yarn-related superpower, it would be the ability to never run out mid-project. Just think of the endless possibilities—crafting a warm shawl to keep loved ones cozy through the winter, or creating a vibrant tapestry that tells a story of the earth’s timeless beauty. With such a gift, I’d bring comfort and joy to those around me, weaving spells of warmth and connection that last till the very last stitch.
May luck and good fortune favor the one who is chosen, and may all your creations flourish.
🍃🍂✨🧶🔮🌙
Fastest crocheter without cramping… but still enjoying it of course ❤️ then I might actually finish all the ones on my giant to do list lol. My saved for later project list is massive, probably take a few life times to get through them all
To be able to crochet super fast, without cramping ❤️ Then I might be able to finish my to do list, it’s massive 😆 it would probably take a few lifetimes otherwise 🫣😅
always having the exact amount of yarn in stash for a project. no leftovers
Mon super pouvoir serait de tricoter à la super vitesse pour en faire encore plus.🤭
My superpower would be perfect pattern tailoring so everything would fit just right
I’d like to have the ability to instantly modify any pattern for my body, with no need for math and additional math and some more math on the side and then a bit of guesswork and then more math.
My super power would be to slow down time so I could get more done in the same time if that makes sense. I am like the white rabbit even though I am retired I have so little time and so much knitting to do.
My superpower would be to knit faster. I never seem to have enough time to knit ALL the things!
What a selection…Just beautiful! My yarn super power would have to be bionic speed knitting, that I could activate when I want to finish a project quickly, so that I can start another. Then I could knit all the things…
I would definitely love to never have to block – even after washing. I would definitely wash and use my sweaters more often if they could hang to dry.
Definitely never having to weave ends and always having the yarn i would like for a project but never having a clutter of yarn
Definitely self-weaving ends! That is one of the things that keeps me from certain projects
To make time stand still when working on a project. Then I would finally have enough time to knit and crochet all the beautiful things I wish to fill my closet and home with.
Now that would be a superpower!🤩
My superpower would be to have never ending yarn in all sizes and colors. I love yarn!! 🧶
Hello Chandi and EFA Team,
I like the thought of having a super power to telepathically read patterns. Wow, that would speed up the process. Especially with more complex patterns.
The superpower I sould live is to knit sithout mistakes…no more ripping out and redoing.
Hi Chandi! My superpower would be either instant blocking or telepathically rolling every skein into a neat yarn cake, no matter the size! (I just hand-rolled a 500 g skein into a giant ball! XD)
Hi Chandi, if I had a yarn-related superpower, it would be to translate and understand knitting and crochet pattern explanations effortlessly, whatever the original language.
Good day to you, filled with love, joy and light.
My super power would be when after frogging for a mistake, my project would instantly update itself to where I was before frogging.
Never having to untangle yarn! Those knots are so frustrating.
My yarn related super power would be to never never have to gauge and every project will come out perfect. I procrastinate with new projects because of gauging. And maybe for knitting have a perfect cast on and not running out of yarn before all the stitches are on your needles.
My superpower wish? Looking at scraps and instantly knowing the item they are meant to be (and to use every inch 😊).
A true superpower would be to always have just the right yarn in just the right colour to hand for whichever project takes my fancy!
My yarn-related superpower would be automatic consistent tension throughout a project!
My yarn superpwer ? It would be automatically memorizing patterns and graphs and always knowing where I am.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such beautiful yarn! I think creating and creating with such lovely stuff is your super power.
The super power I would envy would be speedy knitting. If I could knit faster I might be able to use all of my stash!
My superpower would be instant perfect swatches 😅
My one yarn super power would be to be able to fix a mistake without having to frog any stitches.
My knitting super power would make gauge on the first try every time 🧶
Amazingly lovely yarns, wow!
My super power would be to always feel the joy in every stitch from start to finish, staying focused on each project til the very end, so that I have fewer WIPs and complete more FOs. I’m so easily sidetracked!
My would be weaving in ends or seaming automatically. Projects always sit for a bit before I get around to parts that involve sewing. It’s my least favorite part though finally finishing the project after always makes it better.
Ooh a superpower?! Either I’d have perfect gauge with the suggested needles EVERY time – stitch AND row, or the ability to change the yarn to the weight I need just by casting on! 😃
Super power: have the perfect (variegated/gradient) yarn in an instant!
As a yarn I would like to guide the buyer on what shade would suit the wearer.
Never messing up a count or stitch and having to frog back to fix it definitely would be my superpower
Superpower – gauge/fit always working perfectly.
My spuerpower would be the sewing the pieces together. I have about eight projects stuck in that very phase right now.
The yarn superpower I would love to have is to magically and instantly match up the correct yarn and pattern. I spend so much time trying to find patterns to fit my yarn, it’s time I could be crocheting or knitting lol
Hmmm Only one superpower? I would say to have the perfect yarn that would not need to be frogged, a yarn that comes with the perfect project every time.
The superpower I dream of is being able to meld new skein instantly with no ends to weave in. Just “poof” they’re attached. A dream come true!
My superpower would be to have the yarn instantly tie in all the loose ends. When I’m finished knitting a project, I weave in the ends once, split the yarn & tie it off, and then repeat. Once washed & blocked, the ends blend in and simply disappear into the woven fabric. It’s an incredibly tedious process and it takes forever.
Unlimited wallet and yarn storage space and time to make all the ideas I have!
My super power would have to be to have ALL the time in order to knit ALL the beautiful things!! I have so many projects in my heart that I need to live 500 years to complete! lol ❤️
Hello! I think my superpower would be to be able to knit the perfect size without swatching. I don’t mind the act of swatching, I would just like every garment I make to fit without question.
Superpower hmmm…..instant blocking sounds wonderful but so does ends that weave themselves. I think I want to be able to knit at the speed of light so I can get to all of the projects I want to knit.
Such gorgeous yarns in this month’s (well, every month, really. Lol) giveaway!! The yarn superpower I’d like is the ability to never have to gauge. I could just use whatever yarn for whatever pattern and it would be amazing. And all the clothing items would fit.
Good Morning , Chandi
I would love my super power to be able to complete every project.. my problem is I see a new item and begin it and so on and so on..I love to crochet ;). My daughter and I love the shared bonding time we get. Thank God we have this special time together. Have a blessed day.
I want to be “The Wooly Finisher”! Perfect seams, end-weaving, blocking…..you know!
My yarny superpower would be the flawless ability to select colors that look amazing together. Every time.
I would love instant yarn winding – I just snap my fingers and my hanks turn into cakes!
If I could have anything, I wish my mom was still alive to teach me to knit. She taught me to crochet.
I think the super power I would most like to have is the ability to heal while knitting and crocheting. It’s soothing to the soul, it would be nice to have it soothe the body, too.
Yep the best super power would definitely be never having to weave in the ends. I still have projects finished all except for the ends hanging everywhere!
No ends to deal with would be my superpower of choice, for sure
I’d love to be able to wave my hand and have all the ends woven in. Or maybe the ability to just “merge” new ends in to existing yarn so I don’t need to work them in or worry about them separating or unweaving, they are now just part of the previous yarn (sort of like the magic knot or weaving the fibers together, but something that works on all yarn and on joining yarn in the middle of a row where there was no previous end). Then I would only have the first and last end to weave in.
Hmmm…yarny superpower? I’m stuck between never needing a gauge swatch yet always having perfect gauge and ends weave in on their own, to go with that one, auto seaming.
If I had a yarn superpower it would be that I could snap my fingers and the pattern would be rewritten to fit me perfectly
My superpower would be to order yarn in the length I need for my project. Wouldn’t one skein be perfect? Not having ends to join or weave in, especially when knitting lace designs, would be a dream come true!
I think my super power would be never having to adjust needle or hook size, yarn tension, etc. on multi stitch type projects like MCALs and MKALs in order for everything to fit together properly.
Hmmm either perfect sizing no matter what i knit, or if we are going general fiber, the ability to straight up spawn whatever fiber/blend and color/preparation i currently desire at the wheel. Talk about money saving.
My superpower would be when I substitute a yarn for a project that there will be enough yarn to finish the project!!
I think my yarn super power would be telepathically knowing the pattern. But so many others said ends being magically woven in and that sounds really nice too! 😅
My superpower would be to automatically pick up collar and button bands perfectly every time!
If I had knitting sauper powers they would be speed knitting , brioche knitting, color work, double knitting, steeking,, button bands and chart reading, and a whole wardrobe of wearable. I’d have a eye for colors That always go together. I want to make all the patterns I have chosen ✨️. Those were my powers. Then wearing next!!!
.
My superpower would be always getting the perfect gauge without swatching!
Ahhh, a superpower of being able to knit fast enough to keep up with my queue would be glorious. Magic self-weaving ends (and seams) would also make my heart sing.
I would be so grateful if the yarn fairy would grant me my wish to always get and keep consistent gauge the first time every time
My super power would be to complete every project started quickly and complete every project after . I don’t want to have any project left undone.
To be able to automatically figure in my head the exact amount of yarn needed of every color for every project no matter the size of the hook.
Superpower – always being able to read my work do I never lose my place!
Automatic weaving in of ends would be an awesome superpower to have!
I’d like my superpower to be perfect sizing, every time. Take a look at someone and a pattern and KNOW how much yarn, and stitches, and POOF perfect size!
Automatic weaving in of ends would be an awesome superpower to have! It’s so great that I’m being told I already said it!
Magically woven in ends
Superpower I’d like: always perfect tension as yarn moves through my hand without having to use one of 4 different holds depending on temperature, humidity, moistness of my hands, thickness of yarn or whether I’m doing knit, purl, or something more fiddly!
My superpower would be to make knitting time stand still. I have so many projects, so little time.
Never weaving in yarn ends! And never running out mid project!
My superpower would be to knit super quickly without mistakes
My superpower would be “automatic gauge matching.” Whenever I get ready to start a new project, the needles and yarn I want to use will always work perfectly and align with the size I want to make.
The ability to untangle itself!!!…. What a wonderful yarn superpower that would be!…
My yarn superpower would be perfect chart/pattern memorization so I wouldn’t forget where I was or get confused by the chart symbols.
My yarn superpower would be – pick up any skein and amount of yarn and instantly know the perfect pattern for it and me!
If I had a yarn super power, it would be that every item I made would be a perfect fit no matter if I knew the recipient’s measurements or not.
My super power – knowing I’m going to make a knitting mistake before I make it.
Magical auto-blocking abilities. I would rather weave ends and untangle knots all day over blocking
My superpower would be shaping my garments perfectly.
I think my superpower would be assembling- then I’d be more excited about making items that are sewn together.
Instant blocking or ends weaving while I worked
I’d love the super power of being able to knit for hours and hours without any discomfort of vision or body!
My superpower would be matching yarn to pattern every time.
My yarn super power would be “instant knitting on demand.” No family member or friend have to wait to receive their request, and their would be so many more charity items to donate and provide a blessing to others.
I wish my yarn suprpower could be to instantly match yarns nd patterns.
My yarn super power would be to knit the perfectly fitting sweater every time!
Never having to weave in ends for sure!!!
I love the idea of magically knowing gauge without having to swatch! That’s followed closely by a magically cat blocker. 😆
This might be a little bit out there, but if I had a yarn/knitting superpower, it’d be automatic insect deterrence to keep the moths and other bugs who line to snack on wool away.
What a gorgeous palette of yarns for your generous giveaway! My superpower would be to be able to turn pretzels into yarn! But then again I really like pretzels, so maybe peanuts 😂
Never having to weave in ends!
My superpower would be that all ends weave themselves in! Thank you for hosting this giveaway each month!
No question – mine would be telepathic pattern reading!! No need to carry a pattern around!!
I would wish to get through my projects faster (I’m REALLY slow at completing them) so that I could move onto the next exciting project.
The yarn super power I would like is to have my ends weave themselves with the snap of my fingers or the click of my needles or hook.
The superpower I most wish I had would be super speedy knitting so I could finish projects really fast so I can knit more!! And to use up my growing stash?!? 😂
My crochet superpower would be 100% accurate counting. No missing repeats, no extra chains….
My dream superpower would be having all seaming done instantly and perfectly.
If I had one yarn superpower, it would be instant blocking for sure! BTW, I don’t mind weaving in the ends— I find it meditative.
My superpower? A never-ending yarn stash!
Count me in for pattern reading. I keep to fairly simple patterns so that I can remember them. When I do venture into a more complicated pattern I keep a pad of paper and pencil in my yarn basket so I can keep track of which row I am on. If I don’t I am totally lost and get to rip!
Although I would love never running out mid project. I would have to go with instant blocking, I have nowhere to block projects let alone swatches.
My superpower would be to have all the ends weave themselves in and never run out of yarn for a project.
No doubt my superpower would be the ends wrave in automatically and stay secure forever!
Casting on is my least favorite part, so magical casting on🤪
My superpower would be to have unlimited time to finish all my projects, I have a million of them.
If i had a superpower it would be the ability to make acrylic yarn block like natural fibers. I like to use acrylic for baby items. Being able to get it to block nicely would be fantastic.
To always know where I am in a pattern without checking or counting!
If only instant blocking were a reality. No waiting for the project to dry!
For me my dream superpower would definitely be instant blocking. You’re all done working your pattern/project and, voila, your piece is ready to use!
Mi super poder seria convertir una .madeja en una prenda con talla perfecta al chasquido de un dedo!
Mi super poder seria saber alninstante la talla y calcular la muestra de tension con solo parpadear
The Insta-blocking sounds like a great power to have. Boy, could I use that!!
Hi Chandi, The superpower would be to have correct gauge! That’s the biggest stumper for me! Good Luck to ALL!
I definitely would want the superpower to ALWAYS maintain gauge and correct sizing (for apparel pieces) of any project! 🙂
One superpower………. to block projects through power of thought!!!!!!
Hi, thank you! My superpower would be to instantly produce yarn out of thin air!
My yarn-related power would be the ability to read any pattern and instantly recognize any confusing, poorly-written, and mistake-filled instructions and know exactly what to do to get the results the designer intended (if that’s even possible lol). Like, Super Pattern-Tech-Editing Brain!
I would love to have super speed knitting powers, there’s so many things I want to make and just not enough time!
The superpower I would love to hsvr is endless time and yarn to complete all my amazing projects all while my other responsibilities magically get done without me.
If I had one yarn related superpower, it would be making sure I ordered ALL the yarn/colors I would need for a project so I wouldn’t run out before it was completed. Especially when I find out the needed color is discontinued 🙃
My superpower would be to knit as fast as the superhero flash can run. Then I could make all the fabulous projects in not time 😊
Heard to choose between ends that weave themselves out and never having to attach a new ball.
Yarn super power for me? Never hurting from knitting!
I would love to have the super power to knit beautiful, perfect socks…can’t ever seem to get it right!!!
If I had super powers that were yarn related, it would be to always find time to crochet or craft. In this day and age it’s a miracle to find time and a quiet place to engage in sorely needed crochet time.
My Superpower would be perfect color for me and fit, whether the fit be close or loose. Happy knitting!
My yarn superpower? It would most definitely be finishing! I love to knit and savor the feeling of that wonderful yarn flowing through my fingers, but I hate the finishing:(.
My superpower would be a magic wand that instantly weaves. In all ends and blocks my project – finishing is my kryptonite!!
Wow, a yarn superpower! I would love to have time to do all the projects I want. I spend so much time planning and dreaming, I don’t always get a lot done LOL
Superpower – the ability it instantly weave in ends!! But the ability to always have the perfect yarn is a close second
My super power would be to have ends automatically weave themselves in or instantly block projects with the snap of my fingers. Then I would have more time for crocheting and never have to worry about space for blocking.
My yarn-related superpower would be to have all the stitches and techniques memorized.
Ends that weave in on their own with yarn ends that never need to be “tied” together.
That would be amazing.
If I had one Superpower it would be what fabulous colour to select to knit or crochet with!
My superpower would be to new crochet stitches without having to look up you tube on how to for that stitch, along with increased speed (looking up a stitch takes time along with figuring out how to 😉)
The super power I would treasure: the capacity to design color or texture or lace patterns (knit or crochet) on graph paper — hands-free! And then to edit by taking in the visual, letting my imagination play with possible changes, and settling on the redesign that makes me happiest — all without touching my pencil or keyboard.
All of my projects would finish on their own. They would sew the pieces together and weave in the ends.
Superpower: having the perfect gauge for each project! Lol
I would want to have “instant gauge” In other words, never have to do a gauge swatch again and the garment would just fit beautifully.
Hi Chandi! I would love to have the Superpower for ALL my stashed yarn, 30yrs worth, to have been knitted/crocheted into ALL my saved patterns. Then I could start all over again filling up the empty shelves with your lovely yarns, Chandi. What a beautiful & colorful sight that would be!!
If I could have any yarn related superpower, I would probably pick either all my ends weave themselves in, or maybe that no matter the gauge, any project I made would just magically fit me!
If I could have any yarn related superpower, I think I’d pick not having to float colorwork! It just switches colors on its own when I need it to!
If I could have a yarn super power it would either be ends weave themselves in or that everything automatically fits whoever I made it for.
I think the super power would be the ability to swatch the gauge of yarn so that I am able to make the projects of my dreams which then into reality after blocking.
I would like a yarn time turner that allows me to have extra time to knit and crochet!
If I could acquire one yarn-related superpower, it would be to knit with perfectly uniform tension.
I guess my super power of choice would be to always know, by heart and without fail, the pattern I wished to make. Almost like a selective eidetic memory. Just thinking “I wish to make a shawl (or a sweater), maybe this pattern, it’s lovely! Let me see the pattern. I’ll need these many skeins of this yarn and it’s made like this…” and from then on no more having to always look it up in the computer or print anything, nor having to check it up often, especially the more complicated patterns, nor fearing to skip rows, etc. Even travelling would become so calm…
I guess I would love that
My superpower would be to freeze time so I had more time to knit!
My superpower would be never to have an end showing…nothing worse than having a finished project which gets a lot of wear with the yarn tails sticking out even after weaving the end multiple times!
My superpower would be to never forget “at the same time” in a pattern!
Instantly weaving in invisible ends would be amazing and always winning yarn chicken. 😉
To crochet in perfect gauge – every time – for sure 🙂
I would definitely want telepathic pattern reading, I spend so much time double and triple checking to make sure I got it right
Definitely the ability to choose the right yarn combined with the right hook in order to have the exact fit described in the pattern, without having to do the gauge 🙂
Hi Chandi. My superpower would be to have the perfect yarn for every pattern!
Ah, it would be invisible ends! No more weaving!
The super power I wish I have is to automatically have the yarn I need when I find a pattern I love.
If I could have one yarn super power it would probably be instant blocking. It is not hard but for some reason I just don’t like getting everything out to do it.
100% my superpower would be instant blocking!
To be able to have just the perfect amount and color of yarn for any given project!
My crochet superpower of choice would be perfect control over yarn – no tangle and no problem unravelling. That would solve 90% of my headaches!
I would love to have the ability to create any pattern without any thought or planning and for the project to come out perfect every time! That and the ability to speed crochet/weave!!
My super power would have to be always being able to find the centre pull and the yarn never getting tangled!!
Thanks for the chance to win some of your gorgeous yarn!!
Hola!!!
My yarn related superpower would never have to do a gauge because I could just tell, while also always winning yarn chickens.
My escape today from worry about my adult daughter who needs heart surgery (my only child) is everything crochet and spending the morning with 7 of about 20 dear friends from high school (I graduated in 1973). Seeing the August contest reminded me where my Zen space comes from… meditation, crochet and honesty Chandi, your inspirational emails are so sweet!
would love super power of instant seaming!!
Wow! Such a beautiful giveaway collection (as always)! I’d choose instant blocking as my yarn-related super power. That would be awesome! Thank you, Chandi and team, for the light you shine and inspiration you share every day!
There are a lot of great suggestions here, covering the spectrum from before knitting – like perfect color choice and instant gauge, to after with instant seaming, blocking and end weaving.
My superpower would be to knit with one set of needles, and summon some more to knit along with me on their own. No more Second Sock Syndrome – just knit one and the other knits itself. Perfectly matched sleeves – just knit one and the automatically gets matching decreases. Need a dozen hats for presents 2 days before Christmas – just knit one and DONE! Want something truly unique and OOAK? Just let the other needles get a well deserved rest.
Hi Chandi and Team!
As a crocheter, one final task to any project is weaving in ends. On a project that has many color changes, this can become daunting. My superpower, I’d have a cheesy magic phrase, like “Presto, Weavo!” And my ends would magically weave themselves with thr added bonus of being secure so they stay put!
I think that I’d love to never run short of yarn during a project. I tend to play yarn chicken because of the pension thing. Running short and needing only another foot of yarn is just soul-crushing to a few minutes. At least then I’m back to my usual level. While I cruise through scraps hoping to find something useful. Sometimes you just wind up with an unanticipated border!
My super power would be to stop time when crocheting so I could get more projects done.
Superpower? Finish quicker, sewing the pieces together and weaving in the ends.
My superpower would be knowing how much each yarn would grow!
Hard to choose a crochet superpower because so many seem appealing – perfect gauge, no ends to sew in, etc. But I think I’ll choose is the fast-forward through the parts that seem endless – ribbing on sweaters, putting together granny squares, and of course, ends on some projects…
My super power would be ,telepathic pattern reading for sure
My superpower would be the ability to fix each mistake without tinking back or ripping out. Just look at the offending stitch or area, think about how to fix it, and voila! the mistake is fixed.
I would love to have the superpower of magically finding the exact color of yarn I have in my head for a certain project! That would be so incredible!
I would like to have the perfect fit for everything I make. It always seems great while I’m knitting/crochet but once I’m done and wash it, somehow they grow a lot even though I did do a gauge.
Obviously (?) instant blocking would be a sure pick. But I had another idea: I would love to be able to look at my stashes of snips, scraps and partial skeins/balls and know exactly what I could make with some or all of them, without even thinking about it.
I would love to be able to get perfect gauge every time 😁
My superpower would be perfect tension. I have a hard time getting good tension on purl rows without hurting my weird thumb joint.
Definitely having the ends woven in with a snap of my fingers.
My super power of choice would be to finish one project before starting another! I have soooo many partially done projects…
I would like the superpower of instant blocking. That would be magical!
My super power would be to wave my needles or hook and fix all our crafting mistakes.
No ripping back, no reading the pattern wrongly. Though I do believe in the power of life lines! Ask me how I know they are essential.
Have a fabulous August to crafters everywhere.
My super power of choice would be crocheting for hours without wrist pain!
Super Power?? instant blocking, weaving in ends, and always having the perfect yarn in the perfect colour(s) right at hand!!
My superpower would be telepathic pattern-reading. Or even better!! Knitting without looking no matter what kind of pattern I choose and doing it with no mistakes at all 😂😂
Hi Chandi, my yarn related super power would be to be able to calculate the correct length of yarn needed for a long tail cast on.
If I had a super power it would be to change S and Z twisted yarns at will. Sometimes I find two yarns I want to use in a project but they aren’t the same twist! Very vexing.
I would like the superpower of knowing how to make whatever I would like to make without needing a pattern and being able to make it right the first time.
My superpower would definitely be to make no mistakes in knitting. (I’m OK making them in crochet–easier to fix.) Thank you, as always, for your generosity!
Always finding the perfect yarn in the perfect color at the perfect price! Also, accurate monitor/online color rendition!
I think my yarn superpower would be instant pattern memorization and completely mistake-free makes. No dropped stitches, no miscounting, just perfect execution every time.
My superpower would be to knit colourwork perfectly without tensioning issues
My pick would be never making mistakes and having to take out rows
I’d want my superpower to be always knowing the best projects to make. Whether that’s who would love it for real or THE one that would look the best or crochet up the easiest. I’d just know it was a winner by looking at the name! Thank you for your wonderful giveaways.
I wish my super power could be to know exactly the pattern for the yarn I like, along with the perfect amount of yarn I need for the perfect fit to my garment.
I would love to have perfect tension at all times, in both crochet and knitting. That would be an absolute gift!
My super power would be instantly knowing how to make something- for example if I want to make a stuffed animal I would know how to make it look just how I want!
My superpower would be invisible seaming.
I would like the power to connect a new skein of yarn seamlessly, without using a Russian join.
My superpower would be super crochet speed and accuracy so I could turn out projects in only a day or two 😁
Understanding all patterns
If I had a yarn superpower, it would be that each skein of yarn would be one beautiful length and never have knots in it half-way through. That gets me psychotic!
My yarn super power would be super speed! There are not enough hours in the day or years in the rest of my life for me to complete all the beautiful things I want to create, so super speed would be amazing!
My superpower would be to have my yarn and pattern magically appear when I want to start a new project.
My superpower would be to be able to memorize the design charts line by line – I spend so much time trying to work out where I am on the chart, even with highlighting the rows that are fiinished!
Love that this month is mostly solids and semi-solids! Not a huge fan of multi colour yarns (though I’ve bought plenty of them – they are in the yarn room…..somewhere….)
My superpower would be always having the exact yarn I need for the project in mind, in the exact quantity I need.
My superpower would be weave all ends in a second only with a glimpse.
I would love to have the superpower to automatically know how many stitches there are without having to count.
To immediately notice any mistake when it’s made…not 9 rows later!
If I had a yarn superpower, it would be instant yarn restock every time I want to start a new project. That the exact thread I need magically appears… it would be wonderful!! 😍 Can you imagine?? 😱🤩
My yarn superpower would be the ability to knit & crochet faster and to be able to get a good fit with my garments every time because I matched the yarn & pattern well.
My superpower would be to knit faster so I could knit the many things I want to make in this lifetime. I dream about all the lovely yarn available out there, and I want to try them all!
Oh My…the colours..the turquoises, the greens…just stunning. My super power would be to have all the wool in every colour that I want in a cupboard that had limitless space and yet never took up space in the house. You’d just open the door, press a button for type of yarn and colour and voila…there it would be.
My magic power would be that my arms and thumbs would never tire, no matter how many identical rows I knit, and my back would never complain when I bend over the blocking board.
My superpower would either be able to knit to gauge on the first try with any yarn for any pattern or be able to turn any yarn I have into the perfect yarn for the project I want to work on.
I would live to have some knitting and yarn superpowers, such as knowing exactly how the finished project will look on me, knowing more about gauge, and how to knit very quickly with more knitting hours in the day that would not interfere with my other responsibilities. I am working on these all right now, however. Maybe that is my superpower!
I would like my yarn superpower to be able to knit much faster than I do now. I would like to also combine perfect tension with going faster so a double superpower, although they kind of go together. Right now, I go slow enough (really slowly!) that the tension is usually pretty consistent but if I go faster, it’s a mess.
My superpower would be to always understand patterns.
This is a toughie, but I think my yarn super power would have to be either instant detangler, or magically knowing gauge without swatching ☺️
This is a toughie, but I think my yarn super power would have to be either instant detangler, or magically knowing gauge without swatching 🧡
I will go for instant blocking. It holds me up, the blocking bottleneck.
My superpower would be to be to have the stamina to work on a project for hours!
My superpower would be knitting to the perfect size every time.
As a petite person, most sweater patterns aren’t graded for me.
My super power would be to get gauge on anything I crochet or knit. Everything I made would fit properly. That would be heavenly.
My superpower would have to be, to always get my gauges perfect the first time and to always have my garments come our perfect each time.
Oh, if I could do away with those pesty ends in an instantant, that would be a super power indeed!
My yarn superpower would be self weaving ends. I abhor weaving in the ends.
Superpower – always having enough of the yarn I choose to finish the project.
Oh my — I could think of a few super powers!! I would say I would love to have the super power to envision how a yarn works up. Whether it’s variegated, speckled or just even tonal…..I really struggle with how a project will look upon completion!! In the meantime…. I will continue to enjoy the ‘surprise’ and cherish my accomplishments! I’m permanently disable – and I am blessed & grateful to still be able to crochet & knit!! 😊 💕
I think my super power would be able to remember patterns without having to keep looking at my printed out pattern or even the computer. Just to sit there and watch TV or even read a book without having to refer back to the pattern all the time.
Superpower I would love to have is never running out of yarn and always having unlimited space to stash it.
I superpower would be never to lose at yarn chicken.
My knitting superpower would be to get all of my stitches back on the needles correctly when I pull them off to rip back to correct an error.
My superpower would be future vision, or the ability to visualize the pattern in progress with the chosen yarn so I could make changes if necessary!
Yarn Superpower, yes please!! Just like a lot of others I would choose self-weaving ends. Definitely don’t like this chore. What an awesome selection of yummy yarn, thank you and have a beautiful day.
I wish my knitting superpower would be casting on and knitting the first few rows.
My knitting superpower would be the magic ability to change a knit stitch to a purl stitch or a purl stitch to a knit stitch when I have discovered my mistake several rows back!
I think the best superpower for me was supplied by Eliza “My superpower would be to always have the perfect yarn on hand for the project I want to knit” but I want to add to it. To always have the perfect yarn and needle size” I never have the right needle size!
One simple superpower – choosing the right yarn for the right size in the right pattern first time around! No swatching necessary!
Instant blocking would be my super power of choice
Yarn superpower? Probably never needing to block. Who had time and space for that?
If I could have a yarn related superpower it would be to fully understand any pattern, no matter how vague or cryptic or complex it might be!
it’s a toss between insta-blocking and sewing parts together/weaving in ends. Tough choice.
Fun question! I think it would be always having exactly the right amount of yarn for each project. I hate running out and not being able to get exactly the right colour if too much time has passed since I bought it, and then it would also be great not to have just a little bit left over that’s not much good for anything and feels wasted!
My superpower would be to help others with knitting problems n snap my fingers so I wouldn’t have to Tink back to fix a knitting mistake. Show of hands here.
For a specifically yarn superpower, I would like perfect gauge. If I can extend beyond that a bit, healing so that I would never have RSI would be awesome. Especially if I could also heal others!
My superpower would be as soon as I’m done knitting, my project finishes itself. I.e. pieces sewn together and ends woven in.
my superpower would be to instantly know my knitting tension , no need to gauge… :)))
My super power would be to obliterate all pain that causes me and all other crafters to slow down or stop crafting, physical and mental and spiritual.
besides having more arms to make these beautiful yarns into more beautiful works of art! I wuold love to get outlined patterns – like in a coloring book when you just get the outlines of the project – so I can fill in (and try out) different colors and see which to get!
Hello Chandi! I always have a hard time reading the patterns plus I do not work very fast, so can I ask for two superpowers?!
I would love to have the Super Power to sewing my knitted or crocheted items together instantly!
What a lovely collection of yarny wonders!
The superpower I want is to find an excellent match for pattern and yarn (each enhancing the other) on the first or 2nd try – not the 5th or 10th. 😉
My superpower would be to have yarn and pattern work together instantly …… none of this going back and forth because the yarn won’t work for the pattern and then having to change either pattern or yarn or both – LOL
My yarny super power would probably be instant blocking! It’s definitely a bit intimidating hoping you block it correctly and trying to block it when you don’t have the best tools to work with.
I agree with many here, a superpower of ends being perfectly woven in is perfect 🤩
My knitting super power would be to hand knit as fast as on a knitting machine!!
Ooh, I’d go with automatically understanding a pattern and its stitches! That would be amazing.
I agree with those who wish they could always have what they need on hand and know what they needed for a given project. I love to knit and knit just about anything, but truly love to knit things with lace sections or even all lace. Great colors again this month. I keep hoping that I will one day be the lucky winner.
I’m going with never running out of yarn! There’s nothing worse than running out and finding out it’s sold out or discontinued! I love those colors! The little touch of fall in there is perfect!
A superpower I would like to have is having a continuous meters supply of a certain yarn that I’m currently using ✊. So that I won’t have to worry about not having enough supply 😂, especially if the project that i’m currently working on has the perfect stitch and color that i’ve envisioned 👌.
My super power would be having perfect gauge!
I’d like to have the superpower of always getting the perfect size/look to every pattern/yarn without the hassel of gauge swatching, calculating or trial and error…
Ooh, that’s hard. Instant-blocking is very tempting, but so is not having to weave in ends. I think I want an “instant finishing” power that would do all the post-knitting stuff (weaving in ends, sewing on buttons, blocking, etc.) instantly. The knitting is the fun part 😉
No question, my yarn superpower would be the ability to quickly power through any project when I find my interest waning!
Oh, I would so love self weaving ends! I absolutely despise weaving in ends and might even skip on projects if they have more than 2 ends to weave in (or I just pretend like that side doesn’t exist 🫣). So that would definitely be my super power of choice!
My yarny super power would be: being able to choose the perfect yarn for every pattern (including color, fiber, size).
Auto-balling yarn would be my choice. No waiting to cast on!
Not sure if this is a super power or not but having the ability to know who needs the comfort of a shawl, lap blanket or hat and scarf to keep the person warm to let them know that no matter what they are going through that other people do care.
I would want yarn telekinesis, easy weaving in ends and never risk dropping stitches.
Never having to weave in ends! I would enjoy making granny squares so much more if I didn’t have to deal with all the ends.
My yarn superpower would be to never to run out of yarn mid-project! This happens way too frequently, and it hurts the most when either 1) I initially bought the yarn at a deep discount or 2) the yarn has been discontinued.
Oh gosh, my superpower would definitely be being able to read through a pattern and knowing exactly what to do and never having to look at the pattern again! That would be awesome!!!
Perfect gauge every time would be my wish!
If I could have a superpower it would be to finish each project effortlessly, weaving in the ends, blocking, sewing pieces together as needed… that way I wouldn’t have as many UFOs sitting in the yarn closet, waiting to be finished.
If I could have a yarn superpower I think I would choose either the ability to make anything I can imagine without a pattern and without a gauge swatch, or the ability to have a magical “bag of holding” type craft storage – where anything I need or want is stored inside, and whenever I need yarn or needles or stitch markers I just reach inside and get it!
I need the instant gage super power that includes how to fix the gage if it is not what the pattern ordered!
Speed knitting without making mistakes and being able to keep pase while not looking or pattern memorization.
My super power would be the ends would weave themselves in🤭
Always having a perfect fitting finished projec! Knitting is even better when I’m not worried about the fit.
My superpower- knit and crochet faster!
If I had a yarn superpower it would be for my stitches and rows to always be counted for me!
My superpower would be always knitting the perfect gauge and having amazingly even stitches.
My dream superpower would be to be able to achieve perfect gauge and maintain constant tension throughout the whole project every time, so that garments would fit exactly as they should… Wow, it’s nice to dream, isn’t it?! 🤩😛☺️
My superpower of choice: never ending yarn and never having to weave in yarn ends! Love the yarn colours this month.
My superpower would be that creative time move at a special pace that allowed me to step out of normal time and crochet, paint…to my heart’s content and still have time for sleep and other things.
Never again having to weave in ends.
If i had one superpower it would be to not let projects intimidate me and stop procrastinating. 😞
I waste so much time ‘thinking’ about do this project or that one when I need to just DO!
Hello all:) My superpower choice would be to be able to read any pattern and understand it right away. This includes charts for color work. I really want to try knitting color work but for the life of me cannot figure out how to read the charts. This has kept me knitting very basic patterns for years. One day I am hoping it will all just click.
My superpower would be that my yarn would always be perfectly wound in a way that I can just sit it beside me and forget about it. And also not have my cat try to eat it lol
Instant blocking would be great, but also more time to create!
My super power would be to speed up making items so they get done faster! Once I get to 3/4 done I’m itching to start a new one!
Oh, it would DEFINITELY be blocking!!
I think that’s my kryptonite! Sometimes projects sit forever before being blocked. If ever.
I did get a steamer & that helps, but I still put it off.
Sometimes I think I’m the yarn chicken queen, so many times I’ve finished with only a gram or 2.
I do sometimes lose interest when I have a few rows left, I literally have to force myself….. maybe it’s related to that blocking thingie.
My yarn-related superpower of choice would be to instantly, flawlessly, as if by magic, with no noticeable knots, joining two pieces of yarn together.
My superpower would be to finish an item before I start a new one!
My super power would be to have every garment fit perfectly and never need to do gauge swatches. It would be like magical needles or hooks that automatically adjust its size based on how I was knitting or crocheting that day.
My yarn superpower would be to get gauge without having to make more than 3 swatches. Especially row gauge because I would like to knit a side to side sweater. Stitch gauge is easier, I usually have to go down two sizes of needles.
My fiber super power would be that with a snap of my fingers, all my projects would wash and block themselves!
Ooooof, if I could have one knitting super power it would be: my hands never getting injured. No matter how long or little you knit, combined with all our other hand uses, but never being at risk of a hand injury. Would thay be super strength wrists?? =P
My superpower would be to master every new stitch and technique the first time.
My superpower would have to be always winning the game of yarn chicken. It’s so satisfying and just lovely to finish a project and Immediately weave in a small end to complete a stunning project off 🥰
I think being able to meld two strands seamlessly so I don’t have loose ends would be cool. Also being able to turn needles into whatever size I need at will. Lastly, an instant safety line that appears and disappears when I want. Oh and the ability to keep stitches open without holding them on something.
Beautiful yarns!!!
My super power would be perfect gauge without swatching, and a great fitting item!!!
My yarn superpower would be to never make a mistake and get it right the first time.
I would love to have the skill of having the exact amount of yarn needed to make each project and to make that project perfectly.
My knitting superpower would be having the time to knit and enjoy all the projects 😍🧶
If I could have one yarn based superpower, it would have to be instant blocking.
My super power would be being able to read knitting patterns in any language! That would be awesome!
My superpower would be finishing all my WIPs. 🙂
No ends to weave in – that will make my day
My superpower would be that the ends wave in themselves. The least favorite part for me.
Instant blocking! It’s fiddly and time-consuming, so I would love to not have to do it.
My superpower would be to finish all my WIPs
My yarn related super power would be never failing a pattern. I don’t mind getting a new skein of yarn or blocking my project, I see that as part of the process, but it’s so frustrating to keep taking out your stitches and sometimes just failing at getting a pattern right (for example for me the underwater treasure pattern of the summer cal was such a pattern). It makes me doubt if I can do a certain pattern and out of fear I often look futher even though I love to do a certain project.
My superpower is definitely hand rolling leftover yarn balls and making cat blankets for the cat shelters as well as blankets for the elderly. Be well😘 in
My superpower would be to never make a mistake. No more frogging!
My Superpower would be to Crochet Faster! LOVE the colors this month!
You’ve outdone yourself, Chandi! My super power would be to always cast on without having to redo it because I measured out too much or too little yarn
One yarn superpower: all the time. I don’t mind each step, but I just wish I had more time to do all the projects!
My yarn-related superpower would be no ends to weave and getting the perfect gauge every time!
My superpower would be time bending with laser focus. Slow down time so I could finish a project that I didn’t get distracted from! 😄
I concur with most comments. Weaving in the ends. Working on Increscent cardigan and there are so many!
Second: To actually finish projects! I have easily over 100 wips. I get excited about the new project and the last one worked just languishes. I am slightly better if the current project is for someone else (baby blanket for example).
I applaud your creativity.
Thank you for the opportunity to win.
I’d always have the right weight of yarn and size (and length!) of needles for the next project
I want the superpower of when I’m knitting or crocheting, time stops so I can knit/crochet and not run out of free time.
If I could have one yarn-related superpower, it would be the ability to “knit it right” the first time…instead of frogging, knitting, frogging, knitting, etc until it was “just right”.
The ability to knit quickly and accurately even with bad thumb joint arthritis.
My knitting superpower would be not having to weave in ends and beautiful finishing skills
i think a great superpower would be able to stop time so one could get a couple of hours of crochet done, being refreshed then tackle the real world stuff
Superpower wish: To finish all my WIPs hahaha
Instant blocking, hands down! In my current circumstances, it takes longer to pin the item than it took to crochet it.
This month’s giveaway selection is drool-worthy – sorry, I’ll try not to drool on the yarn! Love everything about it! Thank you for your extreme generosity in providing these incredible giveaways of your beautiful yarn!
I’d love to be able to crochet super-fast and error free at the same time.
Like many others, my super power would be ends that weave themselves in with just a snap of my fingers!
Instinctively getting the right gauge without testing.
I’m a slow knitter, but if I had one super power, I would choose to have the ability to follow the pattern with NO mistakes!!! I’m happy being a slow knitter, but definitely not happy about all the mistakes I am making recently…… Huge sigh…..
My superpower would be to stop time while I’m knitting so I can finish a project and never having to weave in the ends! Beautiful colors as always!
My superpower would be perfect gauge without swatching! Something like a calibrated eye. Haha.
That once I look at a pattern I am unable to mess it up even with my kids distracting me.
I like the thought of instant blocking. I don’t have a lot of room to block things and this would work perfectly for me.
I would knit so many shawls if I could have instant blocking powers… But I think I’d much prefer to just automatically know how to get gauge with any hook/needle/yarn combination. It would save so much time and confusion!
Just ONE superpower? Hmmm…magic joining of pieces (no seaming), or magically woven in ends, or getting gauge on the first try, or perhaps being able to visualize how my color choices would look. Regardless, knitting with EFA yarns is magical!
Ends instantly woven in!!! And not just for me, but it would be my gift to knitters/crocheters all over the world!!!
I think my superpower would be internal. The memory to remember every stitch without having to constantly look them all up each and every time. 🤣
What an awesome giveaway. Thank you for doing this!
Definitely to have ends magically woven in!
The yarn in this month’s giveaway looks really beautiful! If I could have one yarn-related superpower, it would be to never run out of yarn mid-project.

I would love my yarn superpower to be either never having to weave in ends or always having just the right amount of yarn for any of my projects. Having perfect gauge every time would be fantastic as well!
If I had one yarn superpower it would be to be able to think of any yarn and have it as soon as I need it, as well as being able think of any pattern.
My knitting superpower would be to finish one project before starting another 🙂 That would eliminate all those project bags with partially finished items that I have tucked away.
My super power would be to never ever run out of yarn.
Instant blocking would be a nice superpower indeed!
My favourite supoerpower would be no needing to sew and weave in ends.
Knowing the gauge just when looking at yarn 😊🙏
I wish I could nicely make edges and then perfectly sew pieces together 🙏 that would be just amazing…
My superpower would be to be an expert at all stitches. I wouldn’t have to take time learning them, I could just create new things.
Hello sweet souls! I would love the ability to instantly read and understand all instructions knitting! Good luck to all
My yarn super power would be to be able to make all the beautiful clothes! Patterns and I don’t always get along, and I tend to get frustrated.
My superpower wish is to knit at the speed of light so I can make so many more projects!
If I had a knitting superpower it would be that I could slow time down so I would have more time for knitting and that my hands would never get sore or tired!
That my yarn magically converts to and gauges to what the pattern calls for.
Now that I have skimmed through all of the other comments, I may have to think twice about choosing my yarn super power. Perhaps I could rotate through each week or month? No ends to weave, never running out of yarn right before the end or needing an extra ball just to do the last 5 rows. Having all the time I need to do projects, perfect eyesight, and on and on.
My favourite superpower would be to just know how the yarn will behave without having to make gauge swatches, so no matter the fibre content, I‘d always get the right amount of stitches to fit perfectly after blocking
My super power would be remembering where I left off on every pattern 🤣🤣🤣
My super power would be to always have perfect gauge!
My superpower would probably be ability to spawn yarn in.
hmmm…. sleeves and buttons magically appear while snoozing!

To be much faster at crochet & knitting and super blocking!
Instant blocking and deffinetly ends that weave themselves in.
at this time in my yarncrafting, and as a common sentiment, i would like to be able to just pick yarn and needles better to just get gauge/tension right the first try (or not even needing a swatch!) 😁
My superpower? Never having to worry about getting gauge, enabling me to skip knitting swatches. That would be great.
First time listening to the live feed. i enjoyed it.
My superpower would be to automatically know what the patterns are asking me to do! Hmmm also to do two projects simultaneously!!!
Insta-blocking!
I would like my knitting superpower to be getting even tension in all different stitch patterns. Garter, stockinette, ribbing etc.
I would wish for my stash to stay organized by itself without me having to update my lists every few months which I hate as so much precious crafting time is lost! I would swap that wish for blocking or calculating anything!
Definitely insta-blocking!
Instant seaming—how amazing that would be not to have to sew seams together.
My superpower would be to have the perfect gauge every time. Hate doing that.
My superpower would be that every oroject has the oerfect fit!!
W-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l!!!!!!! What a georgeous yarn! My superpower would be to knit faster and to have a bigger wardrobe ♥
Lots of people have already said it: perfect garment fit every time
If I had a superpower, it’d be knitting without looking at my project. Every stitch perfectly formed, and nothing was ever dropped.
My superpower would be, sew in ends as you go girl. 😅 would be a lot easyer then spending way to long a time in one go to sew them in one go as I do now.
Definitely something like instant blocking, or always having perfect drape on every piece! It’s an important final step, but I always put it off to the last minute!
My super power would be to always remember where I am in a pattern so that I never make silly mistakes – therefore I don’t have to frog 😀
