Ha, there’s more than one favorite, but for the sake of writing something down, I’ll say that lately I’ve been enamored of black & brown combinations.
Blue color tones, purple, dusty rose and maroon. And specific green tones. *peacock color

I struggle with a favorite color combination because it is so dependent on my mood. I always thought I was a blue girl but recently I have been doing more with the autumnal colors; rusts, golds burgundy’s.
I don’t really have a favourite colour combination and I’m not always very good and mixing and matching. I like red and black though as I think they go really well together.
Good day to you all! My fav colour combo is greens and blues, pastel shades and purple and mauves. During the colder months I would use the shades of autumn. I am not a fan of the bright lary shades but one never knows what happens next.

My favourite colour combination? Well, I do have in my stash quite a few single or souvenir skeins in a purple-blue-white combo, or purple-green-white. I LOVE combinations with black, teal, turquoise and gray. Sometimes teal goes well for me with apricot or grape.
Dear Chandi, I love colours so much and wea them all. Once a friend even said that I looked like an exploded rainbow. So, there is not one specific colour combination I love most, but do have several favourites. I love to mix blues, from ultramarine to light skyblue, from teal to aquamarine, with lilac, violets and purples, in all shades and tones. Pinks with greens and oranges. Blues with silvers and whites. And, off course, the exploded rainbow colours. Thank you Chandi for sharing your light and colours with us.

Choosing a favorite color combination is so hard, it really depends on my mood and what I am making but I will always default to anything with blues and greens.
My favorite color has always been cobalt blue so I have a feeling your “Caledonia Blue” might just turn out to be a favorite color combination!
Oh, so many beloved colour combination, it’s difficult to choose! Various shades of teal is my usual go-to colour combo. I do love a deep forest green paired with off white/cream too. Right now though I’m crocheting a metallic yarn top which is made up of vertical rows of silver, champagne, and light gold, which I’m totally loving, so right now that’s my favourite combo!
My favorite color combinations are related to natural seasonal color blends like right now its spring green with pinks, blues, yellows and purple like a wildflower meadow. There are color pallets for Summer, Fall and Winter as well. Then again I do like the locational colors like going to the beach,or mountains in the desert and thew plains too . Always love to see whet fiber artist dye as well.

My favorite color combo in general is green and pink, in this fabulous giveaway the orange/gray/burgundy is really speaking to me (and the teal/green would go with it perfectly), and from Expression Fiber arts the dream colorway is the Reindeer.
How to choose a favorite color combo? Impossible!! If I must choose I would say the colors of the variegated Blues and Butter yellow with lavender. My mother loved blues, my sisters and daughters like lavender and I like yellow.

Looking out my window to some northern MN fresh snow! Chandi my dear…..this month’s question is SO very difficult for me to answer…. So many factors!! The time of year and my ever-changing mood to start with! At this moment……I do love a combo of blues & purples. They can be cool and refreshing while also being scrumptious and cozy.

Hello, my favorite color combination has been a favorite of mine since grade school (40+years ago now) a dusty pale peach with a dusty pale sage. We used to make friendship bracelets with cross stitch threads, I almost always had a safety pin on the knee of my jeans with some color combination a friend asked for but one day I decided to make one for myself & voilà my favorite color combo was born. However if we are talking single color then that is a deep cobalt blue.

Blue, electric blue, Sonic the Hedgehog blue and any shade of blue, with fuchsia pink. A wild combination but it makes me feel alive and happy.
What a beautiful color palette for spring! My favorite color combination is the beachfront color palette–sandy brown with a lighter blue for the sky and a blue-green for the water. I don’t know that I can pick one color combo as a favorite. Anything with yellow/gold will certainly catch my eye. I love color, all color. Not necessarily bright and boisterous, although it can have appeal at times, but more soul satisfying and harmonious.

Color combinations depend on the project I am working on. I currently have one going with greens; another with lots of colors on one large skein of yarn.
Love, love, love your yarn! I am a weaver and crocheter. Depending on the fiber, the yarn occasionally tends to be a little too fuzzy sometimes for a warp, gumming up the loom, but it is fabulous for the weft!! Once the right fiber is chosen for the warp, all of your yarn is wonderful and gorgeous! It makes ordinary look classy!

Oh my goodness! These colors are so beautiful. My mother is a quilter and just finished a beautiful mystery quilt that uses so many strange and wonderful color combinations. Sometimes what you think works, doesn’t. And what you low-key hated, ends up right down the middle. Helping her place her blocks has taught me to follow my intuition, wait to hear what colors sing to me, and believe in the creative process–even (especially?) if I don’t know what to make next. Sometimes the colors choose for me.

My most recent project included some creamy colored yarn with red, blue and purple speckles as the main color. I combined that with some purple striping on the baby and was very pleased with the results!

There are so many vibrant, dazzling, and amazing colour combinations that it is difficult to pick just one. However, if I had to pick just one, my favourite colour combination would likely be green & red. I adore that it evokes the feeling of Christmas, red roses on a verdant bush, and even reminds me of going cherry-picking in the summertime!

I absolutely LOVE these colors! There are so many wonderful shades of blue and teal that really make the other colors shine. The contrast of warm and cool tones within this set reminds me of a cool, crisp sunrise at the bay.
My favorite color is teal…any shade and any combination. However, two selections in this batch are very intriguing to me…the blue/red variegated yarn and the coral, butter, gray combination. My first thought was Not My Month, but the more I look at them, the more I sit and wonder just what I would make out of them. . I am totally in love with the yarn I have purchased so far AND what I have seen and felt at my daughter’s house. I cannot imagine how it would feel to win any of these monthly Giveaways! it’s so beautiful! you really are a color magician! I often knit projects with just 1 color (though I do spice things up with the stitches chosen or the type of construction). I’m working on my first mosaic project and it’s really fabulous! As for color combinations, I like complementary colors and all shades of blue. But in your pictures, the yellow, pink and gray skeins are sumptuous.

I love contrasting a vibrant rich jewel tone with a soft pastel or light neutral…for example, sapphire blue with pale gold, emerald green with ecru, or sparkly topaz with barely-there pink. I think both colors are beautifully enhanced!

My favorite color combination? Gosh, there are so many to choose from – that’s why my stash keeps growing! I was born in the autumn, and I’ve always leaned towards the warm colors of autumn and harvest – magenta, red, orange, yellow, green, & brown.

All colour combinations are great and gorgeous!! It is very hard to decide – I love earth tones and purple hues but the combination of colours that you display in the newsletters tells me that my horizon is limited and has room to really flourish.

Favorite color combinations: ?? Hmm. I like browns, rusts and greens. I like blues and whites/creams. I like purple, lavender and pinks. I like rainbows in “true” vibrant colors. I like shades of mauve.

I love color combos that are unexpectedly good together, even though you might not think so at first. I do not have a favourite colourway. I think sometimes it depends on the time of the year. If I had to pick one colourway I would possibly go for greens, browns and deep reds which remind me of autumn colours
I think the deep blue thru indigo to black of a twilight sky is one them, but there are so many.
It kinda depends on my mood, but my current top 2 are purple with lime or neon green and black, grey, and neon or raspberry pink.

I adore soft yarns! And I’m a fan of pinks through to violet, although I not wild about defined stripes. I do loom knitting and somehow segued from a washcloth straight to socks. I never seem to do the easy thing!

My favorite color combination mimicks cloudy sunsets over mountains. Orange with magenta, contrasted with purple. I find this combination attractive as a an ombre rather than asorted; each color transitioning to the next.

I tend to like darker colors with notes of white, red, blue, or some bright colors. However, when I found expression fiber arts (and your videos) I saw so many different combinations that I really love.

In the fall I love oranges, reds and gold…the colors of the leaves up north. But all year long I love the colors of the ocean, like your Caledonia blues with the little bit of emerald thrown in. Hmm I’m not very good at colour combinations, so I usually go the safe route and pair a neutral colour with what ever I’m using (usually autumn colours)
My go to favs are pastel neutrals like grey, blue, teal, sea foam green, beiges. I prefer the cool tones over warm tones but anything EFA always lights up my creative juices!

As yellow is my favorite color, I’m going to choose ANY combination with that. So browns, blues, purples, grays, greens, reds/oranges, and even golds!!! But not in order of preference. OMG, so many beautiful Expression Fiber Arts yarns come to mind because I’ve spent hours perusing the site just dreaming of the day that I retire and can spend copious amount of time playing with yarn!!
