My plans for the new year are to finish your beautiful Faie pattern then to start my first Brioche pattern, I will get some granny squares done for my scrap blanket, before I work on Christmas gifts.
I hope to finish the beautiful Faie pattern as well🧶I’ve put a few projects on the backburner! Time to get back to them. Love this yarn giveaway. Fingers crossed🤞
My new year plans include lots of socks and a new shawl!
My ambition for 2025 is to make more hats and scarves to give away than I made this year.
My New Year’s plan is to do some bigger projects like a decadent Afghan. I loved the mcal 2024 so much I’d like to do another throw except in one color. It was fun exploring different squares.
I want to get back to knitting with your beautiful yarn after the holidays.
I’m making a positivity potato for my daughter right now. Next year I plan on finishing up all the projects I already have on my needles.
My plans are to make crocheted shopping bags for my friends and family. Love making totes!
This year we are starting our house. So I get to learn stone masonry for the daylight basement!
Evenings and weekends will find me knitting colorwork sweaters and lots of mittens.
Making a viking helmet with a beard
Oooh! My crafting plans are a crocheted tea cozy set, entirely freehand, no patterns. They are going to be dragons! And also, I am making a dress made entirely out of crochet peacock feathers! I’m starting on making the hundreds of feathers pretty soon!
Love all the Beautiful colors.
And My plans for the new year is to finish up a few projects I have put on the back burner, and I have a book of things I would like to make someday that I hope to start on.
Oooo! I am loving those colors!
My crafting plans for the new year are to finish up some old projects, and make some sweaters!
I hope you will share photos of these projects, and let us know where.
This collection is incredible! As for my plans, I hope to make more sweaters this year
Holy Moly that is definitely my favorite giveaway you’ve ever done! I plan to try the EFA MKAL this coming year. I always do the MCALs because I’m not a fast knitter. I’ve gotten better over the last year though.
My crafting plan for the new year is to finish at least one unfinished project each month, so I can start the next year with a clean slate! I also plan to knit more hats for donations.
I plan to do the same, as well as working on reducing the ginormous stash I acquired during the COVID lockdown. Maybe I can re-occupy my guest room with human guests, instead of yarn.
I’m going to knit a sweater, and socks. Haven’t done either of these before. I usually knit shawls and baby blankets. So trying new things. 🧶💕
I am finishing up my first blanket and planning for my next one for 2025. I am going to do a mix of tunisian crochet and crochet squares.
I’d like to hopefully increase the amount of makes for donations. I’d also like to have a more comfortable amount of WIPs going at the same time. Thanks for all you & your team do 💙
My plan for the new year is to keep knitting and learning as I try patterns with various skills to master.
What beautiful colors! My plan for the new year is to branch out from scarves and shawls and make some garments.
Hi, Chandi! My knitting plans for this new year are,
a) To FINALLY buy a skein of your yarn and knit a scarf from it (I’ve been saving money since the past few months!)
b) Stash up some of my favorite yarns from Nako.
c) Knit atleast 3 shawls and 5 scarves from the yarn.
d) If I win this giveaway, I aim to knit up some, atleast 10, simple scarves for the people of Palestine and send to them before my birthday in February.
That’s all! My new year’s resolution!!!
Wow, that’s awesome! Good luck 💞
Love your yarns! I have no plans, just knit when I get the time and have yarn. Merry Christmas!
I honestly want to make a blanket for my mom, and for my cats…. They love to snuggle in yarn baskets so why shouldn’t I make a blanket that’s also for them?
My crochet plans this coming year are to make a matching dress and sweater for my children, a Christmas blanket for my bed, and light shalws that I can wear during the spring and summer. I also want to learn to knit and make a shawl.
I just want to say thank you! I was so excited when I got the email!
Next year I hope to get back to some of my embroidery projects. Haven’t picked it up in years, but I think its time.
I mean, I have many plans, but THAT usually not goes well – I see that, I jump that, I love that, and I push away immediately the previous plans indefinite time :’D But I planning many shawls for myself – and I am not wearing shawls, only scarf 😀
My plans are to knit some pillows for my breakfast nook and a temperature blanket for my son’s bed. We will see if either of those actually happen or if I get distracted by a new project idea instead.
My plan is to continue making items – because there is something so calming and satisfying about seeing a hank of yarn go to a ball, and the ball turn into something beautiful and useful. Then to see someone I love (including myself) enjoy that beautiful and useful item – well, that’s just pure bliss!
I will be knitting a baby sweater and a crib size afghan for my third great grand child due in May as well as working on two wedding afghans , one for a son and one for a nephew.
Lovely, I love this winter colours
I need to finish the huge granny square blanket for my daughter and also make something for myself, not just others, i just need to pick one of your beautiful patterns, but there are so many beautiful ones, it’s hard to choose.
I’m working on and will continue to work on scarves for each of my 10 great nieces and nephews as well as my 2 grandchildren. Also a sweater and socks for me and more of Imagined Landscapes gnomes.
I need to work on a cross stitch stocking in the new year and I do lap blankets for our shawl Ministry and I’d like to knit something for myself this year.
My plan for the new year is to have every current wip finished and start completely fresh, starting with an inventory of all my current yarn stash and a plan to use it!
Im NOT buying any more yarn until I have my dedicated yarn storage organised and there is room to have more!
That being said since my gift wish list currently only has yarn on it I’ll be a little disappointed if I don’t receive any lol 😂
I wish everyone a happy and peaceful holiday season
What an incredible collection. My goal for the new year is to do more colorwork.
My New Year crafting plans are… _try_ to only have 2-3 projects going at a time. Also, want to learn and get comfortable with nålbinding. Keeping those ancient Fiber Arts alive is so important.
My crafting plans are to do more testing and more CAL/KALs if the standard and mystery. I also want to get back into my cross stitch.
The new year plans include picking patterns for the yarn already in my stash and the 5 Mystery skeins I bought. Thinking about making a Ruana or larger shawl. Probably some scarves or cowls.
I will be making unusual garments like pants & dresses because I already have SO many sweaters!
My crafting plans for the new year are to move all my craft stuff into my new she shed, crocheting larger pieces like sweaters, and quilting more advanced pieces.
It’s beautiful color
Love winter yarn
Just my color palette!
I firmly resolve to keep on knitting and crocheting (best New Year’s resolution I ever made, ha, ha). I have so many projects lined up. I just need more time.
Hi Chandi,
I generally don’t look too far into the future with my makes – but I do have some bagged up projects ready to go. There are a few shawls and a few sweaters that are in waiting. This wonderful wintery set you’ve put together and are generously offering up would make fantastic shawls. I’ve not used some of these bases – but am drooling over how they must feel in the hands to work with.
Beautiful colors! I have NO purple socks, so I’d love to win this. For the next year, I plan to make more socks for my hubs, since he’s finally decided to wear them. He wears size 14, so that’s definitely a labor of 💕. I’m also still plugging away on the king quilt I’ve been working on for 23 years. I’m almost halfway through hand quilting it.
Beautiful yarn!! Im currently working on the Merry Making mittens for my daughter. Also had to get enough yarn to make myself a pair too. 🙂
I’m going to do so much knitting! I’ll knit whatever, as long as it’s with delicious yarn. Oh, and I want to finish a counted needlework project that I made a ridiculous decision to do on a dark fabric with way too high a stitch count…
I have no idea…….I need to be motivated. These yarns are a great start!
Kind of specific but I want to knit my first pullover (gauges scare me) … and I had my eye on the 3 in 1 pullover by alfa knits on ravelry… 2025 just might be the year!!
Next year’s plans includes knitting for a baby!!!!!
I’m going to continue working through my ready to go projects – yarn and patterns are already together.
And hopefully actually get a job! 1 1/2 years without one is just too long.
My plans to craft for the new year include something for my partner (pattern tbd but I’ve been wanting to attempt a fisherman or aran sweater for her for a time, just don’t have the appropriate yarn in hand) and to rework a sweater that I made for myself this year that came out too big. The pattern for that one Messing About in Boats, which I love, and has pockets. It came out roomier than I like as a result of the yarn I chose. Before all that I’ve got three more kid presents (fingerless mitt and hat combos) and a sweater gift to knock out. Wish me luck!
I’m planning on finishing up all the projects I started this year! I’m so distracted by all of EFA’s gorgeous yarn and patterns that I keep starting things!
This is truly an incredible extremely generous giveaway full of absolutely gorgeous yarns.
My plan for the new year is to knit more sweaters and to crochet more shawls! I’ve been having tons of fun making sweaters, and crochet shawls are new to me, but I’m having tons of fun learning new skills along the way!
I want to )1 learn to knit, )2 make a sweater, and )3 finish some UFOs so I can start some more!!
Still working on Whulge ( work break project).
Just ordered 5 hanks of different Affirmation colors, not sure what pattern I will use them for right now.
This would be an excellent birthday present (Dec. 29) if I win!!!!
My plans for the New Year will be to start a couple of mkal which are starting then. Taken my time to do them.
Oh the colors are so frosty and delightful 😍!
Plans for the new year consist of actually keeping track of my finishes so I feel a little less down on myself next December.
I just love the colors in this giveaway. My plans are to finish testing a sweater pattern, then I have a sweater in the works for my husband. Both are using Expression Fiber Arts yarn. I really love the alpaca Silk DK. It’s my favorite base that you dye.
I have been busy making blankets for the local pregnancy center, for new moms. Now I want to shift my focus to starting a prayer shawl group at my church. These yarns would be so beautiful and comforting to share.
What gorgeous colors! My crafting plans include knitting lots of socks (my friends love them) and also learning to make lacy shawls. I also like to do needlefelting and quilting. I’m retiring in a few months, and looking forward to a lot more crafting time.
Wow, Chandi, you’ve really outdone yourself with this giveaway! Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!
Next year will be like every year: Resolve to use up the yarn I have on projects I’ve queued… and end up buying lots more yarn to start newly-released patterns! LOL
I have lots of projects to keep me busy this year, and I hope I can keep up with my ambitions to get them all done!
Happy first Monday of December! 🙂 I want to do some more textured blankets in the new year. I’ve got a couple of kits that I’ve been meaning to start, but get side tracked making little plushies for people! Have a lovely start to your week.
I love making socks for friends and family
My crafting plans are mostly to finish a bunch of WIPs :,)
I do have a crochet cosplay in the works– featuring a lovely peach colored cotton yarn
I’m hoping to knit a couple of summer tops for myself and a couple of dozen hats to give away.
This year I plan to crochet some wearables for myself and my granddaughter! I absolutely adore the wintry pastel shades in this month’s giveaway?
I have plans for a crocheted dress with a built-in slip, more shawls, cardigans, scarves & aghans/blankets for my daughters and grandchildren. I lost my eyesight in my right eye this year so crocheting has kept me motivated to continue pursuing my creativity after I had to put down my drawing pencils & limit my outdoor gardening for now. Good luck to all whom have entered. I wish you all a joyous season & a blessed & prosperous new year.
What a lovely giveaway!
My crafting plans are to finish my projects! I thought working at a yarn store would help me get more done… I’ve only added to my WIPs! 😄
I love your yarns so much especially the luxury and fine gauges. Chandi – I am so grateful for your business. Thank you for all you offer to us through your business.
Crafting plans for the new year are to continue to crochet and push myself to go beyond hats in knitting! A few blankets and shawls are planned so far!
I love love love this months beautiful give away!❤️
It’s all of my favorite colors. I hope to complete some of my projects so I can start some more.
My crafting plan for the new year is to finish a quilt I am working on and to knit myself a cozy pair of mittens.
Making a whole lot of bandana cowls for presents
As always, my plans are to craft and create as much as I can! Lol
I have embroidery floss I would love to make friendship bracelets with my kiddos. I also am gaining up courage (and yarn) to knit my first cardigan, from a pattern (I’m thinking the EFA pattern Balmy).
My plans for the new year are to write up the patterns for the things I am designing!
I have been making blankets for western NC and the NICU at UNC. Would like to continue
This is a fantastic giveaway! Thank you for the chance! I have so many creative plans! I want to gift my family with warm, and cozy items, hats, scarves, mittens, and sweaters. I also want to make my sweet Tickle a sphynx rescue and, my fur baby Jubilee, my mini dachshund, and a sheltie rescue, Raini a few new sweaters, hats, and blankets to snuggle in. I would like to make myself a shawl, a poncho, mitts, a scarf, and a hat. We get a lot of snow and cold weather in Northern MI. So many plans and need more yarn and time. to fulfill these.
I also paint pet portraits and paint a few of these throughout the year. Hoping to make a difference in others’ lives.
I plan on knitting up a storm!
Doing knit leg warmers now and planning several sweaters and scarves and wraps in the new year. Those colors are dreamy for spring and summer. I can envision several lovely knitted sweaters with this yarn!
Happy Christmas Chandi and all the EFA Team!!!
I want to knit a sweater for me, I’ve only made one sweater for my young nephew. More shawls and socks are also on my list.
Wow! December’s giveaway is just perfect. Those colors are breath taking, exactly what I would pick if I could pick 😍
As for my plans: adding a little bit of beauty and joy to the world using my craft, picking the right patterns for the perfect yarn and brighten the day of deserving recipients who could use comforting.
I want to work more on sweaters and getting the right fit!
This year I hope to finish the three WIP that I’m working on now and start a cardigan sweater.
My -lan if it goes well is to make some sweaters for my 3 granddaughters age 3,6,9
I would like to improve my crochet skills
I plan/hope to finish some WIPs including those started, and the ones I’ve been dreaming of!
My plans for the new year are to start a blanket for my son, and to design & make a custom scarf for the school music boosters fundraising auction.
I don’t planning anything yet, but for sure I’m going to finishing the project I already started.
I really like to knit pullovers and huge shawls for myself ❤️
Love this yarn collection, with some luck it would help me with my new year’s plan to knit more socks for my husband, my son and myself ☺️, some how I always end up with just one sock 🤔
I plan on crocheting some cozy shawls to keep the chill off and maybe try my hand at socks.
Another beautiful array of squishy yarn. My plans for the new year is to shop my stash as much as possible and create some beautiful wearables for myself and my family while continuing to make hats and scarves for the homeless.
In the new year I plan to concentrate on knitting a sweater for myself.
I plan on doing a couple Hearthside blankets for my kids in the colors they choose and hopefully you will have another mystery along. Those have been my favorite.
I have to get the socks I’m knitting for my daughter done and then start on another pair, so I guess my plan is socks and if I have time finish off the baby blanket I started.
OMGOSH is this giveaway breathtaking! 🩵💜 I am hoping in the new year to learn to knit socks two at a time! Thank you as always Chandi for your generosity 💕
Love!!! This months yarn choices. I’m waiting for my buttery willow yarn to dart crocheting my sweater ❤️
Your yarn is amazing.
Crafting plans for the new year are just to continue trying to finish some long unfinished projects. But hopefully also start some new ones.
I have tiny humans, so Crafting has taken a bit of a back seat as I care for and raise them. I get a few minutes of sewing or crochet in, here and there.
Another absolutely fabulous giveaway😍😍My plans are to again knit for charity, Christmas gifts & to knit more for myself! I’ve been putting off knitting for myself, but hoping that changes in the new year🥰
I want to make lots of cardigans in the upcoming year!
Lovely colors…my goal is more stranded color work, maybe a Christmas afghan
I’ll probably do your MCAL. Love looking forward to learning new stitches and techniques. I have plans and yarn to do the Banda top, leftover bits and bobs will go in a scrapghan (hexi-granny), then whatever pattern that I see that I must make!
Cozy up with a crochet sweater in the works and sip tea!
This year I didn’t do much so my 2025 goal is to make more stuff – even if most of it is WIP’s.
OooOoooh. Look at those aqua blues…thanks for the chance to win some VERY beautiful yarn. My plans this year are to wade into some pine needles baskets that have been poking around the back of my mind. And I have several sweater patterns on hold that are just waiting to be dusted off… can’t wait!
My crafting plan for 2025 is to invest in whatever therapy/medical treatment will protect my arthritic thumbs so that I can continue to knit. As for knitting projects planned for the coming year: 1) complete the 2024 MKAL if it’s not done by the end of this year; 2) Find Your Path is next on my list of knitting projects; then Panopeia. I’d also like to make a cardigan incorporating the Clue #11 from Brilliance. I’d also like to return to sewing – – but first I need to clean out my sewing room!! : )
Too many plans, learn to knit socks, keep spinning, crochet, weave and felt. Maybe add some more sheep to my small flock.
This month’s yarns are so soft and pretty! Last year, I wanted to finish some of my wips, but I haven’t! So I’ll try again next year!
Hoping to find more time to crochet & finish up projects along with start & finish others that I have yarn & patterns for 😊 Also planning to start my next chapter in Crochet, Sweaters & Cardigans, planning st start with “Thaw” in Buttery Sport “Torrent”.
Thank you so very much Chandi for having beautiful yarns & a wonderful staff❣️
I’m recently retired and now I can weave as much as I want. I have gotten several skeins of your exquisite fibers and I’m eager to put them on the look!
My plans for the year are
1. Learn embroidery! I attempted this a few years as go and failed, and it’s about time I sit down and try again!
2. To knit a sweater! I’m mainly a crocheter, and have really basic knitting skills–the most I’ve knit is a small rectangle. I really want to expand my skills and try a sweater!
My goal is to create everyday, even if only for a few minutes!
Would love to be able to spend more time crafting – knitting, crochet, not to mention wanting to get back into cross-stitch. Fingers crossed!
I want to make lots of sweaters and maybe venture into uncharted territories for me and make some socks!
I’m planning to knit less commissioned jobs and knit more for my kiddos!
Hi Chandi. For the new year I plan to finish some personal projects, that have been in the works forever it seems and start craft market items
my plan is to finish project. I have to many half way
My plans are to get as caught up as possible on the super long list of this I need to make, which keeps getting longer and longer 🤣
My plans are to put more time aside to crochet and finish some of my WIPs since I have gone back to work I miss making as many beautiful things as I used to when I had surgery.
My crafting plans are to keeping working on my crochet scrappy blanket, embroidery, and pottery!
As always my plans are to finish what I didn’t finish in 2024 then go from there. I do have a number of ideas percolating in the back of my mind. Whether I actually get to them is another thing entirely. I first need to finish my Supergirl outfits for my American Girl Dolls and then finish Collocation and Luminary and a grandmother’s flower garden quilt I still have waiting for me to finish sewing.
What beautiful collection of scrumptious colors for this month’s giveaway!
Plans for crafting next year aren’t fully formed yet. I’m still working on holiday gifts and a cowl to go with my new jacket. I want to learn some patterns and stitches and was “thinking” about a possible “patchwork” throw or blanket made from my learnings. I have a drawerful of colorful scraps that would be perfect for the project.
For the new year I want to do a crochet journal to keep track of everything I do. Also want to so some challenges for the year, like crochet something with every letter of the alphabet, try an intarsia project, a mosaic project, a knitted project, etc. I want to challenge myself to do new things in crochet.
Finishing an old cable sweater wip! Then i want to make tops – cardigans, sweaters, tops!
My plans include re-learning to knit!
I plan to work on the projects I’ve been putting off. I’ve spent the last year knitting for my new twin granddaughters, it’s time to work on things for other people now! Though there’ll probably be more for the babies happening too.
Wow, the pastel colors this month are amazing!
My plans for 2025 include two things – This Christmas is the first time I got a yarn advent calendar, and I want to make a cardigan with it (whether it will be just stripes or stranded colorwork depends on exactly how the yarn ends up looking). And on top of that I want to knit (or at least start to knit) a blanket in 2025, probably double knit with snowflakes motifs, but I’m not sure yet…
My crafting plans for next year are to
– See where the inspiration takes me
– Continue to reduce my yarn stash by having a net negative yarn intake
– Make a tank top for myself
I’m hoping to learn how to weave this year in addition to continuing to crochet A LOT.
In the new year, I hope to make a couple of afghans for nephews, lots of hats, and a scarf or shawl from lace yarn.
Knit more in the new year and use more stash!
I plan to make more items to sell at local events.
Oh what beautiful yarn and the colors are perfect for this colder time of the year. My plan is to complete all the projects I have going on. Actually some may get frogged. I hope you and your family have a very blessed Christmas and New Year. Thank you for all you do.
Weaving scarves and shawls as gifts for my girls and their girls. ❤️
I plan to make more sweaters and shawls. I LOVE YOUR YARN💜
I plan to mostly shop my EFA stash, while filling in when necessary with more EFA yarns. I want to complete my first first wearable (Kalaheo) and start on another one – this time in a heavier weight yarn like buttery worsted. My stash of Together in Crema Worsted is designated to that project. I also need to figure out how to make crochet socks……
I will continue to crochet in the New Year, and will try to do more Tunisian. I also want to try and do some needlework and miniatures.
My knitting plans for the new year are finishing my UFOs.
In the new year I plan to knit throws for 3 new grandchildren and cowls for a very dear group of friends. I do need to set aside some time for sewing and cross stitch too. We’ll see how it goes…..
I am going to tackle a longer cardigan. Looking at the patterns from you. Love your patterns! Thank you for all you do, all year long!
I plan to make all the beautiful things in the new year! 😊
Crafting plans for the new year include finishing at least 3 wip’s, using a bunch of my stash and learning to quilt.
I’d gladly add this pile to my stash – both my favourite colours!
I want to knit more cardigans. I always find myself casting on a new sweater, but cardigans are practical as you can put them on or take them off whenever needed.
I love this month colors – it’s exactly my color palette 💙. While I was knitting almost entire year for someone else (my daughter, DILs, parents of my DIL, grandchildren …) I would love to make some sweaters for myself.
Oooh! Such beautiful colors as always 😍
I’m planning to finish my Pebbled sweater, my first ever sweater! And some more shawls, can’t have enough shawls! 😊
I am so obsessed with winter stuff…I love these…I wish I would win them to honour the winter time with very nice knits.
Next year I plan to make something for myself – a shawl or maybe a vest. I love your yarn and your patterns, I will surely find something appropriate 🙂
Btw, I love your newsletters, I especially appreciate the way you find an image matching the yarn. Therefore, I was a little disapointed by the last newsletter, the images were all AI generated 🙁 I hope you will go back to the “natural” images soon …
Knit everything I can get yarn in my hands for! Finally found a local charity for hats I can donate, too!💓
My crafting plan is to use up the yarn I have before buying more, but I’m not sure it will work! Also to keep learning new skills so that I can make some gifts for my family and friends.
I don’t know if I have any specific plans. I haven’t made anything for myself in a while so maybe I’ll finally make myself some new mitts and coordinating hat.
My plans are to finish ALL my WIPs before starting any new projects, then focus on reducing my yarn hoard! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
In the new year, I plan on finishing a blanket I set aside in favor of finishing up Christmas gifts for this year. And, I plan on making something for myself too, perhaps finishing knitting a hooded scarf early in the new year.
Plans for the new year… To start with, the EFA MCAL and MKAL. I’d hoped to be a last minute addition to this year’s MKAL, but I’m still trying to finish off the fall MKAL knit shawl. I’m close, though – tomorrow should do it. Also, a cat couch, some blankets and scarves. I’m not at all ambitious. Lol. I’m not fast enough to be able for sell them, so most of what I make is donated.
Thank you Chandi for all the joy you bring. These yarn colours are exactly the ones I wear the most! Some skirts, a few mandalas and a vest are on my list for the coming year. And finishing some WIP’s. Hopefully even a blanket. Much love to you!
Be still my beating heart – what a beautiful selection of yarn! 💕 🧶 In the new year I’d like to complete a sweater I’m working on, as well as my in-progress Panopeia. I would also like to carve out more time to knit in 2025 and experiment by using some different yarn bases including worsted and DK. 🎄♥️🎄
For the new year I plan to organize all my WIPs and either frog or finish them
I’m hoping to have my craft room organized by the new year so I can find stash yarns more easily! 😄
Wow, amazing and calming colors! My crafting plan is the same as last year–knit more garments.
Love this months colours…..my plans for next year is to make a other rug for the bed…….probbaly blues nd greens.
Gorgeous yarn!
My plans are to try to get back on track with almost a dozen WIP’s. I’m trying not to cast on anything more than a knitted gnomes which goes fast and gives a nice break. I don’t have much hope
That I’ll succeed (I just purchased a sweater pattern today). Oh well.
Most beautiful yarns. The colours are awesome. If I was lucky, I love to make a shawl and Cardigan and some beanies for my little grandchildren.
Merry Christmas and God Bless you and your family. I love watching your Youtube etc. Send love Catherine
Earlier in 2024, I tried making shawls using 2 weight yarn. I got hooked, literally since I crochet, on making them. Turned out gorgeous. I want to make more and make blankets for family for next Christmas.
My crafting plans for the new year include continuing to build my knitting skills and pulling out one WIP per month and deciding what to do with it. I’ll either commit to finishing it, or repurpose the supplies for something else. I have a stack of project boxes that make me feel guilty every time I move them aside to grab a new project. Life’s too short for that!!
I’ve made my mind up for not planning my knitting next year. Just because I always end up knitting things that I hadn’t planned to make 😅😂
So, let’s see what 2025 brings to my needles!!! 😊
My goal this year is to get comfortable enough with garments that I have to add a special wash day for my wool items 😅
I LIKE TO MAKE SHAWL OR BLANKET
My crafting plans are to complete at least some of the crochet patterns I ordered over black friday, and learn needle punch.
My plans for the new year are to finish or frog some of my languishing WIPs…
I probably have 10-15 totes (mostly EFA totes) set up with yarn & patterns for something new.
Even one with LOTS of beads!
I’ve always had several WIPs going at the same time, but for the last few months I’ve been a monogamous knitter. Feels strange. 😂
In 2025, I want to make sweaters using some techniques that are new to me. I also want to make some pet items for friends.
Hi Chandi,
I hope you are doing great!
My new year 2025 aspiration is to knit #SAINTETERRER pattern for myself or crochet a baby blanket (My obsession) with a FAB yarn like #Moongleam fingering yarn.
I have tested 2 patterns for designers you collaborated with and I enjoyed the process each time. I love working with luxurious yarns and would want to crochet more wearable garmets and shawls in 2025.
Make my dreams come true.
Thank you
Chandi,
Your yarns are so beautiful and wonderful to work with.
My plans for the new year are to try my best to finish the projects started and find more me time.
My crafting plans are to make a freeform piece using all the bits and bobs from other projects.
This is a gorgeous palette. I’m hoping to finish crocheting an Alpaca Silk (DK) sweater by the end of the year, and so far it’s looking like I’ll have enough scraps of a couple of the colors to also make a colorwork knit hat after. I have one sweater on the needles to finish as well (sleeve island), then I can start planning new projects.
Id like to knit a shawl, baby blanket and booties for new grandchildren.
Thank you…Merry Christmas
Crafting plan for 2025 -have the self-confidence to participate in the Expression Fiber Arts 2025 MKAL- the patterns the past two years have been so beautiful, but I was so fearful that I didn’t have the skills to keep up – next year it’s time to jump in!
These yarns are beautiful! I’m looking at cardigan and blanket patterns to keep us warm and cozy.
My plan for next year (and beyond) is to do whatever I can to make a dent in my stash! I have yarn, fabric and so much more stored all over my house, garage and in my car… I’m not buying anything (she said with a chuckle) until I use up most of my stash. Entering giveaways doesn’t count as buying!
My plan for the new year is just to crochet more in general. Life can get so busy sometimes and it’s good to try to carve out a little spot of time for yourself each day. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway and for your encouraging words that you send to us. May the new year be a great one for all of us!
These colors are amazing! Love them all.
The list of my dream projects is getting longer and longer! Almost every Friday with a new tutorial from you and your team makes the project list grow. And the order on it is always being adjusted too. How about doing another review of all the models from 2024, like you did last year? Maybe that would help me. The two projects “Shukrani” (knitting) and “Verano” (crochet) are currently on the needles.
Oh, what lovely colours! My knitting plans for 2025 are: baby things for my first grandchild-to-be; socks; sweaters and cardigans – and, finally, that Xmas sweater I never get started on in time!
I’ve got 190(!) items in my Ravelry queue, so my goal is to accomplish at least 5% of that number. And also reconsider my list! Some (stressful) years, the planning and acquisition phase far outstrips the making phase, but it’s the making that brings true calm.
My plans are to finish the work in progress, knit more socks and see what pattern inspires me to cast it on. And thanks to your Fale crochet pattern, that now includes crochet as well as knitting. I have spent many years attempting to learn to crochet and failing miserably so I am rather surprised to have a completed shawl as my first crochet project. Many thanks for your clear explanations.
My crafting plans are to make some blankets since they use a lot of yarn and take up a lot of time.
I am going to crochet a layette for the new baby of a friend who got married the same day -22 June of last year, as my daughter. And in between, I plan to learn how to quilt at the free Wednesday evening classes conducted by the ladies of my church community.
Each year, I promise myself I will get an early start on Christmas presents. Maybe this year it will work! I started a knitted market bag for a friend this week, so maybe I will get it finished by Christmas 2025! Ha, ha. Really, I will be working on my hat project most of the year where I knit as many hats as I possibly can for distribution by a local food pantry. Maybe I can beat my record of 135 hats in one year. I have been doing this for over 5 years and have surpassed the 500 hat mark.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such lovely fiber! Have wonderful holidays!
I plan to finish all my already started projects!
I never really have a plan just work on whatever inspires me at the time.
Beautiful yarn giveaway 🥰
This coming new year I would like to complete all the projects I have started thru the years. Most of all I would love to knit or crochet a cardigan. I absolutely adore cardigans and would love to say ” I made this”😁
For the new year I plan on creating more of a knit wardrobe and I’d like to put two patterns I’ve drafted to the needles. Beautiful yarn this month!
I plan to crochet 2 hats and a summer top.
I plan to use my mom’s handspun yarn to make a blanket in the new year.
Gorgeous giveaway this month!!! My plans are to start a sweater with my Brilliant Light held together with silvery alpaca lace. Now I just need to find the perfect pattern…
I have a plan to make myself a cardigan or sweater.
Very rarely make anything for me. Having a large family, I love crafting surprise gifts. But for the New Year, I want to learn Continental knitting and make for me.ove these holiday fibres.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🧶
Fabulous giveaway as always-Thank You! My crafting plans are to finish several wip’s and reorganize my yarn stash. I currently have a sweater on the needles using North DK and the beautiful fabric this yarn creates is keeping me motivated! ♡
My 2025 crafting plans (apart from challenging myself with more advanced crochet and knitting patterns so that I continue to learn) include creating an embroidery sampler – I stumbled across a wonderful book illustrating very clearly how to create a myriad of stitches and I aim to have fun trying them all.
Always overly ambitious when it comes to knitting plans/projects. I’d like to make some tees, camisoles, a sweater or two… there’s an easy-peasy on the needles at all times: shawl socks, hat, fingerless mitts etc! After a purge/donation of acrylic deep stash the last 6 months (little bit here & there), I want to make things w the “better” yarn! Found some EFA yarn I had forgotten about (gasp!), beautiful blue/purpley … camisole? tee?
Lovely yarn, as always!! Thank you!
Happy holiday season!
What a beautiful bundle to close off this year 🥰
I am looking forward to making more sweaters and wearable next year, putting into practice all the things I’ve learned thus year. I would really like to self draft something as well.
I plan to finish all my started projects and start all the ones running around in my head. I bought a ton of EFA yarn at the cyber Monday sale so I can start dreaming up new projects.
This month’s giveaway colors are so beautiful. I have found, as I get older, my color choices are changing.
Anyway, my crafting plans are more about planning and organizing what supplies I already have and Then (trying) to choose my next project. ; )
I mostly crochet or tunisian crochet. I hope to add more knitting projects this year! Thank you for the opportunity!
My plan for the new year is to overcome my fear of making crochet and knit sweaters. I also want to make a serious dent in my yarn stash.
My plans are to start a crochet journal, to write down projects I want to make (so i don’t forget), to keep track of when I start and finish a project and what kind of yarn I used! Also I hope to finish the projects I have in the making already:)
My plans are to work through some of my collection of wips.
In the new year I’m going to finish a couple crochet WIPs (“just because” gifts for friends back home). I am also going to practice needle felting and embroidery, which are both things I tried for the first time this year.
These colors are so my colors. Totally my comfort zone lol. My plans for 2025 are to make wearables for myself and let go of the fear of making mistakes. After all, no one else would even notice, for the most part 😉❤️
Blues and purples! A dream come true…I am wishing on a star!!
Beautiful collection! I hope to whittle down my stash and do as many handmade gifts as I can in 2025.
This year I’ll be crocheting every day, learning something new with each stitch, and failing more in love with the fibers and colors of this art. I’m so happy to have found this world at this time in my life, a place where I feel at home. Thank you so much for all the inspiration.
Now that I can proudly say I master the crocheting, next year I plan on moving on to learning knitting advanced techniques. The patterns are so beautiful and can wait to gift some handmade pieces to my grandkids 🙂
My knitting group always does “January is for Charity” and we’re knitting hats for the homeless this year. We’ve done preemie hats, mittens and children’s hats in the past. Then back to filling out my sock drawer in February.
I’ve just started a big project of a throw that may keep me busy for a while (I’m a slow crocheter). Afterwards, I’m planning to develop my recently acquired Tunisian crochet skills.
My plan is to sort my stash and start working through my many WIPs (either finishing or frogging). Then I’ll have a clear path to starting some of the projects in my queue
For the new year, I have a lot of knitting plans – mainly mitts and hoods and maybe even a sweater. I also plan to spin my own embroidery thread and use it to cross stitch.
Hi Chandi: I love all your colors , each is just so special. I love to knit and crochet. My plans for the coming year include making blankets , hats and scarves to donate. As well as creating a couple of dresses and shawls with modern irish lace crochet techniques. I am grateful
for your beautiful yarns and patterns and the opportunity to continue learning new skills through your videos. Wishing you and yours a fabulous holiday season.
Hi Chandi! Lovely colors!!!
My plan for this year is to keep challenging myself to learn more knitting techniques and knit more garments with different constructions. Some I will keep and more I will give as gifts to keep the inspiration alive 🙂
My plan is to make the Valdeon shawl. Most of my projects are for other people and my daughters said that it is time to crochet something for myself.
LOVE the December giveaway colours! I plan to make something for myself this year after I make a blanket for my son’s fiance’s bridal shower. They both like yellow / sunflowers and I can use colours from her bridal palette as background colours. Continuing the tradition as I made a blanket for my D-I-L’s bridal shower using colours from her wedding palette. 2025 will be a busy year! Merry Christmas to you, Chandi, and the Experession Fibre Arts crew!!
I love crocheting afghans for my family and friends it just makes me so happy
I have always wanted to make blankets for children’s wings in hospitals so I would probably do that my grandchildren love my blankets and I love to see the smiles on their face when I give them one of my creations
Wow! This is my favorite collection yet!!! In the new year, I plan on finishing the Moonflower top, working on more mandalas and finishing up washcloths for my best friend’s twins!
I love these colors!!! I will be finishing up my youngest son’s sweater (knit) and crocheting a shawl for each of my 2 daughters in law. I hope to finish some new designs too in the first 3 months of the new year.
I knit (10 years) and crochet (40 years) but usually stick with tried and true techniques and projects. In 2025, I’d like to try 1 new knitting technique and 1 new crochet stitch/technique. Thank you for the contest!
My crafting plans are always based on what strikes me in the moment. Whether I’m inspired to make something, or a friend is having a baby shower, or whatever. I am thinking through how to increase my creative output for next year, though. 🙂
Your yarn is so beautiful…. as for my plans, looks like another year of baby blankets! My niece is expecting her 2nd and a friend is due in April!
Honestly? Im just hoping i can finish the projects ive been working towards for over a year. Including weaving a cotton throw, spinning 20oz of silk and weaving that into a shawl, dying and spinning another 20 for another woven shawl, maybe getting some skirts sewn/finished, and one day making something for myself that i will actually like. All unlikely, but who knows maybe ill find time.
I plan to try to use as much in my stash as possible so that I can make more room for your beautiful yarn. I’m in the process of making scarves for friends and family as gifts. I want to be able to display my EFA yarn so then I can see what I have and can work from it. I love looking at my yarn as much as using it.
Oh, these colors are my palette!
For the new year, I plan on tackling my UFO’s and finishing my she shed, which will be my crafting palace 🙂
I have a baby due in February so I’ll be focusing my crocheting/knitting on baby items (time permitting)!
I’ve been doing a lot of knitting for other people and charity so my newest piece, that will take me in to the new year, is for my son.
As usual, I have too many projects to count. My PLAN is to finish up the projects I’ve already started, but just this morning I saw a new mosaic pattern that would be perfect for dome blue yarn I have, so imightbeworking on that instead. At least I’ll be using up yarn I already have. Lol
I plan to knit lacy cowls for my daughters and granddaughters, hats for sons and grandson, finish two shawls that are in progress and to knit a fisherman style sweater for a family member. I especially love to knit lace. Your fingering yarns are delightful to work and lovely! Thank you for all that you do and have beautiful holidays!
My crafting project for 2025: finish at least one project per month, and the new MCAL! And a friend has promised to teach me how to knit, so hopefully I will get to practice that as well.
I’ve decided: this is the year of the sweater! I’m a fairly confident knitter, but sweaters intimidate me for some reason. Time to face the fear of garments!
My crafting plans for next year include finishing WIP and maybe trying weaving after I retire in June.
I have a lust list for knitting. ARTIC LIGHTS, SEA GLASS, a Cowichan sweater are my aspirations. This year Artic Lights will be a huge stretch to learn new skills and my priority and the first thing I work on as I work thru a serious attempt at decluttering my house of things that I no longer need.
I’m planning my first temperature blanket, so that will be ongoing through the year. I also have a friend who’s having a baby, so I have some baby crafting in my near future. Other than that, it’s whatever whim strikes me.
I just bought some lovely wool roving I’m hoping to spin.
Oh My! When I win all these amazing yarns, I will share with my knitting friends. We meet to share once a week at a local restaurant. And share we do because we love knitting and crocheting and giving our love-filled work at random with anyone, and I mean anyone, who showed a kindness or needs a kindness. I am so excited to feel, knit, and share these yarns for the first time. Thank you for your delightful expressions every morning.
My crafting plans are to start a business this upcoming year. And to homemade my gifts cuz I missed doing that this year.
To actually get back to it. I’ve stopped crafting because of an inability to focus due to grief and depression. I miss crafting. I plan to practice Tunisian crochet so I can get started on my elf coat, maybe work on my knit sweater more, and get a head start on making things for the grandkids for next Christmas.
My plans are to finish my big Bavarian blanket, the couple projects I have started now, and to start a few new knitted shawls.
Beautiful colors this month! First I plan to finish the blanket I recently started for my sister, I want to give it to her for her birthday in April. I also have a couple skeins of yarn I want to find a pattern for! At the end of the year I’m sure there will be Christmas presents I’ll want to make. Other than that, I’m always looking for new stitches or techniques to try.
Hi Chandi. The colors look so beutiful together. My plan is to finish all my WIP’s and also to learn new crafting skills, like Turnesian crochet.
In the new year I’d like to finish up the complicated projects I have lingering, and really focus on making wearable things like tops and cardigans (and socks). I hope to find more patterns for very pretty socks that are also easy enough to knit while watching things with subtitles! I want to get more knitting done this year.
I plan to finish a pi shawl that I have been knitting off and on for 2 years. I am on the border section now. I think I still have about 30 rounds to knit.
Crafting plans include finishing my current WIP sweater, knitting wool socks for my kids & grandkids & their spouses, knitting baby items for our first great grandchild due in spring
& many other things along the way as I find them 🙂
I plan to finish all of my current wips.
My plan next year is to finish the blanket I started two years ago, and make at least two more. Plus I want to make at least one or two sweaters. And I need to get the Spill the Tea and Trillium Lake made.
Hello Chandi!
Thanks for the chance to win such a great collection of beauty. Your website is always inspiring and the latest pic of Santa takes me back, but also to appreciate the “now” of the season. My hope is to become great at making soft lovely socks this winter.
I’ve got so many projects on the go, I really shouldn’t be planning anything other than finishing. There’s so much I want to do, but finding the time and ambition to do it all is the issue. So, my PLAN is to keep plugging along and try to do just a bit more than before. Thanks for the opportunity!
I want to make something for myself this new year (selfish I know).
This year I knitted for the sake of knitting, learning new forms and techniques, so next year I intend to knit intentionally, matching my stash yarn to a person and knitting something just for them, using the skills I learned this year.
The blues and purples of this giveaway are amazing! I have a pullover sweater almost completed, and may try to knit a vest in the new year.
My crafting plan is to get through the long list of WIP and want to makes on my list. I have so many beautiful patterns from you with the yarn waiting to be made!
I l ove your colors and yarn, thank you for making them……and recommending what to make
Oh my goodness I’ve got a long list of crafty stuff to do this year/next year. My big one(s) finish crocheting my daughter’s blanket, and make one for my baby on the way in March. And crochet matching beach cover ups for myself and bestie. And I want to knit some dresses as well. I also want to just practice making toques and things so that I can maybe do a market next year.
Oooh that lavender is gorgeous! No plans, just hopes for 2025. Hope of finishing some projects in time-out, hope of finally knitting a sweater that fits and a blanket for a friend, and hope of continuing to provide warm articles to our local Warm Up America organization
I plan to finally learn to knit socks that fit and maybe also learn how to do Brioche
Beautiful yarn!! My New Year’s projects are to finish a dragon amigurumi for my oldest daughter, and then I am teaching myself to knit…so I am attempting something easy – a cardigan (haha) for my 6 year old daughter. I am sure it will take me a few years and by then, it will be too small to fit her. Haha.
My plans this coming year are to complete an afghan for my college bound granddaughter. She and I have been working on the squares since she turned 14. It will be a fun graduation gift when completed with lots of memories. After that, I plan to dive into my stash and make ‘something’ from all my lovely expression fiber arts yarn.
I plan to use the best yarns I can afford and challenge my making skills. I’d like to make more for my own wardrobe with natural fibres. I also would like to expand my repertoire of skills, do mor colour work, try some top-down patterns…
Your yarns look so lovely, and your manner is up-lifting. Thank you!
I plan on starting my first cardigan
My niece is getting married so I am making shawls for all of folks in her wedding party that will want one. I had a feeling this was coming so I got started a few months ago but it is still going to be a busy year.
Gorgeous yarn for this month’s giveaway – then again, I have yet to see yarn from here that isn’t absolutely delightful! Plans for next year are to keep trucking away at my WIPS and finish a few things for the kids before they get too big to wear them!
Those yarns are oh so lovely! My plans? I’m supposed to have a plan? HA. Sometimes I crave wooly wools and sometimes I have to have the soft and scrumptious yarns for that feel-good experience while making. I have a shawl that I’ll be starting after Christmas using your Pearlescent fingering yarn. Can’t wait!
I really, really, REALLY want to start AND complete a good number of the projects I have stashed, each pattern with the required yarn in its own bag waiting for me to notice it finally…… sigh……
I love your yarn. Everything that I have used has been very nice to work with. My crafting plans for the new year are to spend more time with my spinning wheels working on making the yarns I like to use. I also still want to learn the Portuguese style of knitting.
Love the wintery colors!
I plan to finish the Fences shawl I‘m crocheting for my mom, then I‘ll crochet a lacy one-skein scarf for myself, and after that maybe some new doily sets 😁
Good morning! I’m a knitter who quilts, or a quilter who knits. I plan to finish some long abandoned works in progress, make some quilts for necessary gifts, and start on scarves for next Christmas! I made Fair Isle sweaters when younger, now I do simpler projects. However it’s time for a cardigan….,
After I hinish my Christmas sweater, I plan to knit a sweater for my grandson, who will be arriving from Africa in March!
I am considering joining the EFA Knit along this coming year. But if not I think I will still challenge myself to a blanket or something large.
My crafting plan is to focus on a few items for myself, as I usually tend to only make gifts for others. I also am going to put together my first county fair entry, which I am both excited and a little nervous to do!
I am in the process of crocheting a sleeved shawl at the moment and will be picking up a pocket shawl next. I just had shoulder surgery so everything is going slow. I want to take my time where needed and figured the simplicity in the patterns help me slow down where I need to.
Oh my! Those are gorgeous colours and a neat selection of yarn bases! My plans are for kniting and crochetting several shawls and jumpers/cardies this next year!
Merry Christmas and a very Prosperous New Years to the Chandi Team! ☃️🎄🎄
I don’t have very many specific plans, but I do have a few. I’ll be making hooded cowls and cardigans for my grandkids. In general, I’ll be test knitting as tests come up and working on some long term projects, and I have a sweater or two for myself that hopefully I’ll get around to knitting.
I look forward to a crafting bonanza in 2025. I await my recent orders from your shop, and plan to make several sweaters, shawls, and scarves, also a pair of leg warmers. Your yarn is divine and I love working with it. Thank you for all you do. Happy holidays to you, your family, and all the staff at EFA.
Next year…. I have so many projects I want to do and the yarn set aside for them….wish there was more time in the day. I also want to get back to some of my Counted Cross stitching projects I have.
Those yarns look wonderful! My plans include finishing a family-pattern sweater for my brother, and working on a couple of smaller sweaters for myself. I lost a lot of weight last year, and nothing I have fits.
I plan on knitting one miscellaneous project after another; projects to be determined one by one.
My plans are to get more into crocheted clothing items. I want to get better and work at making my projects a bit more drapey. I’ve also been looking at some vintage patterns. I’m going through them and trying to decipher the materials to modern equivalents. Luckily there are websites to help in this task
I don’t plan on doing anything new this next year. Just whatever I want.
My New Year’s resolution is to make a pair of socks! I’ve never made any before because small circumference knitting intimidates me.
Gorgeous! My crafting plans for the new year include a new quilt (sewing), and a whole lot of projects that need finishing. My goal is to finish 3 projects before I start a new one.
I have just moved into an Independent Living apartment (within a ‘Continued Care’ apartment complex that also has Assisted Living, Memory Care, & Skilled Nursing Center available if/when the need should arise. I’m having open heart surgery at the beginning of next month. I will have a lot of time on my hands during my first 6 weeks or so post op – and it will be a great time to join others over various projects. Whether it’s traditional crochet, Tunisian crochet, or knitting….I’m ready and looking forward to meeting new crafter friends!! Happy Holidays to everyone!! Best wishes to you Chandi for you and your loved ones during this holiday season. Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2025!!
Crafting plans for the new year?
That’s a long list. It’s sewing at the moment. Shirts for my hubby (new pattern, need to make a muslin first), tote bags for next year’s Christmas, cardigans for myself. I just got the Brynn cardigan pattern from True Bias, and it looks like a winner. That’s another muslin to make, lol.
Other things will pop up in the interim, but that’s the plan.
Would love to finish a couple of cardigans and a crochet throw, but large projects are unrealistic with a newborn! So I’d be happy if I’m able to knock out a handful of small things like hats and socks.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these colours…so nice and soft and wintery. I have to admit that I haven’t been knitting much this year and have been doing a lot of needlepoint instead…BUT I really want to knit a sweater, knit a shawl and crochet a blanket….so I’m thinking ambitious thoughts for next year.
Besides continuing my many knit & crochet projects, I plan to begin a Bible journaling scrapbook a day journey using a drop watercolor technique with stamp & stenciling. I’m super excited about beginning next month.
Thank you for the opportunity & I wish you all a very merry Christmas, everything else & Happiest of Nee Year. Amen!
I have several bags of projects to complete before adding anything new. These include socks, a cowl, mittens, 2 hats, a shawl and a sweater. I have several ideas for this month’s beautiful selection…
Goals for 2025 are to design and knit a new sweater, to continue on my longterm projects, and to clear out my bin of unfinished projects–tearing out the ones that aren’t working, finishing the ones that are almost done. 🙂
My goal for 2024 was to finish 50 projects. I doubled that amount and it has inspired me to do something similar. For 2025, I want to entirely use up 70 skeins/hanks/cakes of yarn. I mostly make amigurumi, which doesn’t take a lot of any one yarn, so I am wanting to try different project, like clothing.
Would love to work with the beautiful colors included this month! Wishing everyone a great Holiday season and Happy New year!
Im finishing up a bunch of holiday projects now, then 2025 is all for making yummy crochet treasure s for ME! I have a sacred stash of EFA yarns just waiting for my hook…
I’m going to dive into crocheting and knitting and definitely hop on the mosaic wagon.
I haven’t made any plans for the new year, but I’d like to continue following my bliss where crafting and creativity are concerned. More working through my stash, honing my knitting skills, and also doing some acrylic pour painting and fun with water color (going for a beginner’s mind with that one!). Merry merry!
Current plans are to continue preparing for local fair/show. Might win some ribbons 😀 I’ve never done that but thought to try!
I plan to finish my first long-sleeved adult sweater in many years. I also plan to finish up the temperature blanket I knit to celebrate my 50th year. After that, I’ll choose from one of the 70+ projects in my Ravelry queue. Who knows?
I would be happy to just get through all my WIPs at this point!! 😱🤣 I have many projects lined up using all my beautiful Expression fiber arts yarns!
My goal for 2025 is to finish various projects. At the top of the list is the EFA Malvarosa Sweater and the Pope Vergara Scrap Cardigan. Then there’s a Fair Isle sweater for my son. I’m so anxious to steek the shawl collar. In between knitting, I’ll continue to work on restoring my Grandmother’s crazy quilt.
And the list goes on . . . and . . . on! Happy Holidays!
As always a fabulous collection to give away. Thank you so much for doing this – it shows your loving and giving heart. Bless you.
My plans for next year are to finish some of my works in progress especially some blankets for my grandchildren. Will be wonderful to
have a blanket on their beds from their Oma. I have worked on the MCAL this year. I am adding some extra squares to make it a bit
bigger so it will cover a single bed. I hope to have this finished before the end of the year (note it is ‘hope’ as you can never be sure of
getting things finished when you want them done). As we are going into summer here, I have time to get the blankets done before
the winter. Thanks again.
Hi Chandi, I’m also an avid lover of all things yarny! I’m a maker of sweaters, hats, gloves, cowls, shawls and I recently discovered Gnomes. So much fun! Charities like Chemo Hats have been a recipient of some of my beauties. Plus let’s not forget family and knitted Christmas Joy where the Expression Fiber Arts yarn really shines. It would be great to be able to do more charity work and put such fabulous yarn out into our world to bring comfort to someone in need.
Thank you for keeping me motivated and inspired…..but enough about me…lol…thank you 🙂
What I hope to do is finish all my WIPs before starting something new. Realistically though…
I want to finally get to make the gloves I was planning on making last year using your HOHOHO color way. I got two different weights of it, one for a scarf, other for gloves. I really want to get them finished!
I am getting back to weaving, and will mess around with fiber preparation for spinning different yarns. I may learn to crochet next summer too, but I will continue to knit no matter what.
I plan to work on shawls, they’re just so cozy!
In the new year, I plan to knit a scrap blanket with all the scraps from years past, continue to work on making my handmade wardrobe and do some charity knitting for people in our area who are unhoused. <3 Thank you for this opprotunity!
Hello my lovely! Your yarn is exquisite! I’ve made several hats for my mom who lives with me and is currently undergoing chemo for ovarian cancer. She was formerly a snowbird, and this chill outside of Philadelphia is hitting her hard, so am also planning a new shawl for her. Stay as beautiful and inspiring as you are!
Finishing some UFOs is absolutely #1 on my list 😅
It’s going to be a hot summer down under, so I think I’ll knit a simple linen tank top
One of my crafting goals for the upcoming year is to make myself a pair of slipper socks using all the fingering weight yarn I’ve been collecting from finished projects. I haven’t decided if I want to find a nice light grey or white and use the scraps to do some color work or double up the scraps with a grey or white.
Honestly, I’m hoping to finish a sweater and a pair of socks I started. I’ve been dealing with a thumb CMC joint issue that makes knitting painful and slow going. Surgery is the only fix. I love your yarns and color ways. They are wonderful to look at and work with.
For 2025, I’ve decided that I need to ignore all KALs. Last year’s KAL took up all my free time and I felt pressured to get it done along with a shawl for my niece’s wedding. So this coming year, I will work on giveaway projects with my “less desirable” yarn options in order to reduce my overwhelming stash. I have a ton of patterns that I want to make, mostly blankets and sweaters, but will work in some hats, scarves and mittens to give away. I also need to finally make that fisherman’s cable sweater that I’ve been promising my son for the last 6 years!
Oh my goodness, those colours are to die for! My plans for 2025 are to finish a ballet wraparound sweater for my sweet 7 soon to be 8-year-old granddaughter. And, if I have time, to knit and crochet some Barbie clothes in time for her birthday in mid-January.
Hi Chandi,
Thank you so much for this generous and beautiful opportunity.
It’s about time to learn to knit color work: so that’s my 2025 aspiration. Also try a very easy sweater pattern.
Oh wow this is gorgeous!
My goal for 2025 is to knit myself a sweater. I’ve crocheted myself a cardigan that I love and have had some lovely comments about.
Happy December. xxJane
Hoping to re-visit a scarf I was knitting from hand-spun yarn.
My plan is to make whatever I can with what little yarn I have.
After finishing up the last of my Christmas knits, (and trying to avoid adding more last minute knits to the list) , I’ll be picking up a luscious lacy shawl for myself which had been relegated to the WIP shelf until I could give it my full attention. Giving myself the Christmas gift of attention and self care!
As always, such beautiful, drool-worthy yarns! My two main projects for the new year are 1) crochet a fun blanket for one of my god-daughters (my first color work project), and 2) clean out and organize my craft room.
I would like to get back to knitting my King-sized Blanket as well as a knit baby graphghan, finish my crochet wips, a Tunisian Crochet top for me, a top for my sister & another for my niece, and a Peacock Scarf for my Mom…😉
Thank you Chandi…🥰🤗
My crafting plan is simple, trying to use up some of my yarn. I’m also hoping to learn a new knitting technique, possibly either brioche or double knitting.
My plan is to finish the multitude of WIPs I’ve been working on ALL YEAR!!!
I’ve been collecting really pretty variegated light tones of fingering yarn and will be further experimenting with either black or white yarn as a contrast using various unusual knitting stitches. I’m sure it will drive me crazy but look nice in the end!
I can honestly say that I have never planned ANYTHING my entire life. I have failed every attempt to even think about planning something and I have NEVER been able to “see” my future. I was also one of those kids that never knew what they wanted to be when they grew up. I fly by the seat of my pants, just hanging on for dear life and surprised when it turns out okay, or at least not on fire! I do hope I can finish this first crochet project. Who learns to crochet by making a blanket? Me. Because it looked pretty and I wanted it! LOL
I’m hoping to learn how to crochet cardigans and pullover sweaters. But first I have to finish the Christmas gifts that I won’t have ready this month. 😀 Cheers to a new year with new squishy things to make!
My plans for this next year is to finish the MKAL and MCAL. Then I’m going to work on making some stitch markers and row markers. After that it will be whatever comes up that “hits my fancy” as my Mom used to say.
I’m hoping to tackle my many WIPs this next year!! 😁 I want to start new projects, too!
My crafting plans are to make blankets and more garments.
For the new year I’m going to something totaly new for me, try to do a little design for a yarnclub. I’m a little nerveuse but in a good way.
I’m also making some big items for myself, we will see how that turns out but I think it will be OK.
The most importend thing is having fun trying!
Matching Mommy & Me sweaters maybe?
My crafting plans for 2025 is to use my stash yarns to make a couple of afghans. I also hope to knit my first pair of socks and a tee shirt. I also using scrap yarns to make throw rugs for my home. Would love to win these yarns.
One of my crafting goals for this year is to finish as many of my half completed WIPs as possible.
I want to knit at least two sweaters!!
I’d love to learn how to crochet 🙂
Hi, not sure I have plans, more like whims. I have the second sock to finish and a shawl WIP, and currently commissioned to knit a cardigan for someone that has a deadline of mid January. Then it will be anything that I fancy. The latest sparkle that catches my eye! Since I have a fair bit of new orders coming from you I will have to decide soon. Thanks for all the wonderful squishiness!
The yarn is gorgeous. I will definitely knit a blanket if I was lucky enough to win. I love the mix of solids and variegated colors.
I want to make my first wearable Garment!! That is my goal. I don’t like doing small tunes ( socks) so sleeves will be very difficult for me I imagine. Something I can wear will.be my 1st to learn in 2025!!! Happy New Year to everyone at the incredible Expression Fiber Arts Team!!! May God bless you each and bisness thrive in 2025!!!
I just hope to get back to knitting 🙂
My intention is to make a cardigan and a sweater. I have not knit clothing before and have been itching to try. I am also going to explore working with some more rustic fibers and unspun. 😊
I just learned how to Tunisian crochet, so my plans for the new year are to play with that a lot.
I really want to make a sweater, a vest, and of course a lightweight shawl. I’m very slow, so that will be my year. Merry Christmas dear.
My plans for the new year are to crochet my little heart out and continue practicing to knit.
For me 2025 doesn’t include as much knitting – although I’ll be working on my Promethean sweater. Instead, I’m starting the Certificate and Diploma program for embroidery from The Royal School of Needlework. The first class is Jacobean Crewelwork and it starts next month. I’ll be learning how to design this type of needlework in addition to doing the embroidery – I did my first crewel pieces as a teenager in the 1970’s.
Next year I hope to make more projects in general. I recently learned how to knit so I’d like to hone that. There are just so many pattern types to choose from it’s hard to decide!
I’m mostly trying to make it through my Christmas to-dos before the holiday. But I do have a cardigan planned for myself that’s an expression pattern
My crafting plans for 2025 is to finish up the multiple crochet and knit WIPs I have begun but not finished. I seriously have, at a minimum, about 30 of them and I’m becoming overwhelmed by it all. Honestly, EFA does NOT help with my issues as often times when a new pattern is released I get so excited that I order the yarn and then get started on the new pattern once the yarn arrives whether or not I’ve completed whatever I’m already working on. I also have SEVERAL projects that need to be blocked and ends woven in to be truly considered finished. Here’s hoping I can get myself together enough to actually achieve these goals.
I’m actually planning on trying one of your patterns embrasser. I’m so excited
I’m going to make a blouse with beads woven in!
I’ve been working on finishing up some WIPs and organizing my yarn. I’d like to finish that and then live next year with intentional time for crafts to feed my soul…crochet for peace, painting for expression and challenge, and lots and lots of being surrounded by beautiful color.
your yarn s so beautiful as always ! No plans for the new year, apart from keeping on crocheting and knitting every day or so. As for the rest, we’ll see what inspiration blows my way when the time comes 🙂
My plans are to knit whatever I want, and hopefully squeeze out as much time as possible to do so.
no “plans” just what ever strikes my fancy
I’m several clues behind on the MKAL so I plan to finish that up and I also plan to work on some summer tops that have been on the list for a while.
I have costumes to make for my high school drama club production of Aladdin (I’m tackling Jafar and Jasmine for sure and other pieces as needed). After that I’ll hopefully have some time to make something for me. ^__^
Need more sweataers
I will be doing a weather blanket for the third year; what started as a high-temperature recording blanket has developed into a blanket coding daily high and low temperatures, windiness, precipitation, and sunny days. I also have many planned or partly-done projects that keep getting pushed back by new ones, and an even longer list of patterns I want to start (most of which are from Expression Fiber Arts). I LOVE this month’s colors, and can think of so many ways to use them!
My crafting plans for the new year are to finish all of my many WIPs, including the fall wreath I meant to make. Lol Lofty goals, I know. 😂
I plan to spend some time selecting the special yarns I have put aside (mostly all are from your Expression Fiber Arts collections) and teaming them with the perfect patterns! (again, many are from your website. Thank you so much for all the free patterns!) Joy!
Thanks Chandi. The yarns are beautiful. My plans are to continue expanding my skills by knitting hats for charity and to finish two sweaters in progress for myself.
My knitting plans for the new year are to knit up a cardigan, a couple of vests and maybe a pullover, all for me!!! Winning this bundle of yarn would get me well on my way!
Gorgeous give away! I plan to finish some WIPS, same as last year xox then I see new patterns on your site!
I’m looking forward to a crafting retreat with friends in the new year. They quilt and I crochet. We hang out in a gorgeous vacation house near a frozen lake in MN, chat, cook for one another , and make lots of progress on our projects.
I plan to make socks for more people. My sock drawer is running over now.
I’m waiting for a yarn delivery next week! I have 3 projects planned: a vest, a hat, and a baby blanket. And my sister wants me to revamp one of her bags! Other than that, I have no plans, but I’m very excited to start my projects!
Finally knit a sweater!
Lovely yarn. My plans is to finish som WIPS, knit and/or crochet some cardigans and tops for myself.
My plans are to finish more of my UFO’s, knit more and spin accurately!
I’ve never made a wearable yet except for scarves so I really want to crochet my first sweater next year and purple is my favourite colour so this would be an amazing colour palette to work with 🙂
I have a ton of WIPs that need my attention in the new year
My plan is to finish my patchwork blanket and make my husband a warm shawl for the house. I would also like to organize all my craft supplies
I’d like to finish a shawl I have started, and make a sweater from some really soft and cozy yarn
I hope to dive into my WIPs pile & either finish or frog them.
I’ll be taking a break from crafting gifts/artisan market items and crocheting something just for myself!
These colors have me wishing for spring! I started a project journal to keep my WIPs better organized. I’m always working on no less than three things at once and sometimes I forget what size hook I was using, so I’ve started writing everything down to keep track. My plans for the next year are to finish as much as possible!
I am hoping to pick up my knitting needles again in the coming year. I’ve just come to point where I have the time, and I would love to start with a small shawlette. I saw some of your directions were for the “adventurous beginner. That’s me! I used to make sweaters of Lopi yarn, and I’ve made many hats. I made some mismatched socks in the past as well. I have several small shawlettes gifted to me and I love them. It’s time I learned how to make some beauty by myself!
This is my favorite giveaway palette yet! Whomever wins will be lucky, indeed!
My crafting plans for the new year mainly involve knitting sweaters from my stash, including my lovely yarns from EFA. But first, I’d like to knit my Mom a sweater for her birthday in early March. She has been looking for some nice sweaters to wear on an upcoming vacation, and what could be nicer than a hand knit sweater!
I just finished a cowl and have gotten so many compliments on it I feel the need to make more! I also feel I need to make a wrap–it’s gotten cold here. With my daughter and her husband planning to move away I see much more time to knit in my future. I just hope it’s with some of your luscious yarn flowing through my fingers! I must say I’ve never had the chance to work with good yarn.
Looking forward to next year’s CAL. The monthly clues and pace of progress is just nice to learn new stitches and patterns!
I am a beginner of knitting. I watch a lot of you tube. I want to make a pair of socks. I have a couple of shawls to finish. I know nothing about all the different yarns . Learning about that also. And do some quilting.
No real specific plans but I do hope to complete at least some of the WIPs I have around here.
Hi Chandi, thank you so much for this opportunity. You are always so kind and uplifting in your messages to everyone ❤️. This year I would love to grow and learn more about what I love to do. That is crocheting. Thank you for the opportunity to win your gorgeous yarns.
Oh what a gorgeous garden of yarns! You are such a generous soul, Chandi! Thank you for your positivity and beautiful creations that help others create their own works of art! Happy Holidays!
In 2025, I plan to make more wearables and try my hand at a sweater!
I plan to finish all the wips from this past year. Wish me luck!
I’m excited to set up a craft room in 2025 where I can store all of my fiber craft items.
I hope to finish a couple off crochet projects as well as make a quilt.
I’m planning to reduce my yarn stash to make room for new yarn!!
Plans for the new year? I’m still making plans for this Yule, LOL. I will try out the Kulumikiza pattern for my mum’s present 🙂
My new year plans are to finish some projects for myself that are on the back burner for the holiday season. I’m promising myself to mindfully take time for me!
My 2025 project list is finished. I have some wonderful alpaca needing worked up and many other sweaters and shawls. I put so much time into others and giving this year that I didn’t get to do a lot of me projects. January is a selfish month for just me
I hope to finish a sweater!
My crafting plans include crocheting a blanket, and learning to knit socks!
😅 finish at least one wip… ok now seriously, I have some dresses in my mind and a cardi for myself… maybe some test knitting… mainly, enjoy the process 💜
Hello, Happy Holiday to everyone. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy & loving Holiday Season. For the upcoming 2025 year, I plan to keeping learning to knit. Practicing and just have fun with my knitting journey. Also to hopefully not have to think as much hehe. Best wishes to everyone.
Hello !
What a beautiful selection for this month!
Thank you for the opportunity to win.
For next year: Complete WIPs. There are so many it will be fun to select from except the oldest will be completed first. I will have to discover exactly which WIP that is! haha
Happy Holidays
I hope to get some wips finished and start something new from some lovely new yarns 🥰
I’m hoping to receive a circular knitting needle set for Xmas so I can try out some sweater patterns!
This new year, I’m hoping to finish my first sweater project that is for myself, but I’m also hoping to start some holiday crafting earlier in the year so I can actually have homemade gifts for my family!
My crafting plans are finishing my mosaic knit scarf and starting the blanket for my brother.
I plan to take it easy next year and knit mostly for myself – I’ve been so busy for the past two years with various projects for my friends and family that I haven’t actually had the time to make something for myself from my ravelry queue. First in my queue is the Moby Sweater by petiteknit 💝
Hi! Happy Holiday to you and everyone! I hope to plan items to knit and crochet that work with my wardrobe.
My crafting plans for 2025 include trying more weaving! I just bought a rigid heddle loom, and I’m eyeing a big (shawl-size) triangle loom.
I want to finish my cardi as I can’t wait to wear it but its no time now before Chritmas for knitting and I have some tops and dresses in my mind so I start one of them straigth after as a New Years project 😊
Hi Chandi, I love the colors of the yarns beautiful. I just made a throw-out of the scrap yarns that I left over. I love it nice and warm. I will make it again or something different.
Hi Chandi. Thank you for the opportunity. I would love to knit my first sweater. Currently I’m working a shawl and crocheting a car carpet for my son. I would love to finish both before the new year but I’m not stressing about it 😊. Have a wonderful weekend.
Chandi- my crafting plans are to get my crafting mojo back.
My crafting plans for 2025 are to finish all of my WIPs before starting new ones. I just have too many incomplete projects sitting around. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and everyone!
to get all wips done and make a cable sweater
I haven’t started to make plans yet, still trying to finish gifts for this year. Maybe that’s my plan to start gifts earlier. Have a wonderful Christmas.
To learn how to crochet more intricate patterns, and to work on some of my embroidery projects as well! Happy new year, Chandi!
My fav colors!!! I have always wanted to knit myself a sweater, so my plans including finally tackling it! I think I have a pattern picked out-Miilefiori, which was half the battle! I also need to make 2 baby blankets. Wishing everyone a wonderful new year!
Get my WIPs organized and finished!
I want to buy atleast one skein of your yarn Chandi. I plan to knit socks and sweaters for my family and friends this year.
My knitting plans for new years is making smokerings.
I’m planning a shawl kal with online friends.
I’d love to crochet sweaters for my daughters & myself ❤️
Socks!
Hats, scarves, and shawls! Maybe baby blankets as well!
So many plans for 2025 new year. I’m finishing up Musica, then making wool socks for my best friend and I. My dad wants a new beanie, I want to make a poncho, I forgot the name of the pattern, and I have 3 blankets on my list. It will be a very busy crochet year
I’m working on a blanket for my daughter, then I’ll finish a blanket for myself and work on a few baby blankets as gifts
Ooooooh I have a head full of plans, so many things I want to do in 2025.
But at the top of my list is to knit your beautiful journey shawl, to take with me on every journey.
Thank you for your inspiration, encouragement and love.
Happy 2025, and Merry Christmas
I plan on focusing on crochet this year. Not sure if I’ll do more freeform or buy patterns for something interesting and challenging.
Next years crafts might be starting with finishing the last Christmas gift and getting it done n the mail. From there I’ll start next year’s gifts. It takes these old hands a while…
Thank you for the opportunity to win your beautiful yarn.
Debbie
Baby blankets and hats for my new grandson!!
2025 is the year of completion for me. I have a beautiful EFA kit that I plan to knit. It will be a beautiful shawl for myself. Next I have a sweater jacket to complete. I have several skeins of EFA yarn that are not assigned to a project. I’ve been going through patterns to match up the orphan skeins to patterns. Wishing a joyous holiday season and a happy new year to all! Thank you, Chandi, Tim, and EFA team for all that you do to bring joy to crafters through your yarns and your beautiful words.
What beautiful colors! I plan on finishing this cable cardigan I have been working on for 5 years now, it has been put aside to accommodate knitting for others, kittens and cancer. This would be so awesome to win as I officially become a senior on my birthday on the 24th. Whoever wins will be a very lucky individual, best of luck to everyone and happy holidays.
I thought I’d already entered, but I scrolled through & didn’t see my name😳I plan on knitting as always for charity, gifts & to knit more for myself😊
I’d really like to actually finish some of the blankets I’ve started
Going to finish my socks and a baby blanket and then most likely knit a shawl and then more socks.
Gorgeous yarn colors!! Would be such fun to win!!!
I do charity knitting for the Bundles of Love so I will be continuing with that in the new year.
I would also like to start knitting up my EFA yarns into shawls or sweaters! 😉
My plans for the New Year include finishing my current WIP sweater. Sweaters scare me. I’ve only made one. So this would be an accomplishment. Then start another sweater that I bought yarn for. LOL. I will continue to knit socks and hats of course.
WOWZA!!!! BeaUtiful!!!!! My crafting plans for next year are to complete the WIPs I’ve had in hiding the past 9 years. Also participate in EFA’s CAL’s and use up as much yarn as possible so I don’t have to hide the new skeins that will be forthcoming. Merry Christmas to all!
My 2025 project list is finished. I have some wonderful alpaca needing worked up and many other sweaters and shawls. I put so much time into others and giving this year that I didn’t get to do a lot of me projects. January is a selfish month for just me
I plan to finish a few WIPs and start working on the beautiful yarn I bought from EFA!!
Hello Chandi, My plans for 2025 is to knit Cellist poncho. The only modification I am planning to add to this gorgeous pattern is 3-3 buttons at the sides to be able to fix them together. I think I’m going to add the openings at the back panel, when I am pulling the loops for the ribbing (with a little crochet chain), and give the buttons to the front. Will my project be made by the above wonderful yarns? Let’s see, anyways, thank you the opportunity! Wish you all the best!
To make cosy cardigans!! Just so I can wrap myself in warmth and softness!
What beautiful winter colors!! After the holidays I will be going back to work on my first sweater after gifting family scarves/ beanies/ a blanket! A successful first year of knitting.
Wow what a gorgeous selection!! Love it.
My crafting plans for a new year are to sort out and actually start to use a loooot of supplies in my crafting closet(s) 😉
Happy hollidays and a craftyfull new year 😉
My new years knitting plans are to finish all my unfinished projekts. I have put everything on hold to make a baby blanket for my friends new baby and it’s finally done and I can finish all my pauzed projects! Fennmont first, then another sweater and a crochet top. Both almost done. Then I hope to start on the Mosaic knitted sweater. Too many plans too little time.
My plans for the new year are to work on blankets that I want to make for my dad and 3 brothers for Christmas next year! I hope I can finish in time!
Plan on making a cozy wrap and knit my first sweater
I plan to crochet more blankets and sweaters this year and also to get better at knitting!
I have lots of little ones to knit for. My cousins 5 grandchildren. My great nephew and my niece is pregnant with her second child due next Summer. So I plan to knit something for myself over the festive season. I have started a pair of Christmas socks. Such beautiful yarn here as always spoiled for choice!
I will knit sweaters, tops, cardigans, skirts, blouses tees and dresses. Until now I have knitted for everybodyelse, but yesterday I realized that knitting for myself is not selfish. I have the ability to make exactly what I want, and nobody deserves beautiful, custom designed garments more than the knitter herself. In 2025 I will make a memade wardrobe. Because I’m worth it.
My plan for the New Year is to not only learn how to weave chairs (restore old to new) but also crochet the Red Velvet Rose Shawl. My biggest step I want to take is to crochet or knit a Cardigan. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your Chandi and everyone!
I have always crocheted but in the new year I am going to learn to knit.
The challenge-something with the two birthstone colors from every month in 2024. Drawing and watercolors.
My wish for the new year is to learn how to make myself clothing, jackets/tops, even ponchos and ruhanas (sp). I’ve always concentrated on making for others.
I am an avid knitter as well as a reader. After the holiday I will start my next years Christmas gifts. I am doing scarves and matching hats for my 4 granddaughters. Living here in Maine those will come in handy. I love looking at your hand dyed yarns and am looking forward to using them.
My New Year plan is to teach myself to knit Selbu mittens. I have the book, which i was lucky to find, and it is a beautiful book to not only learn from, but to read about the history of Selbu mitten knitting. Merry Christmas!!!
I made a list of all my fiber-related UFOs in priority order. I then listed a date by which I’d like to have each one reviewed and started. It’s 27 projects long so far and I believe the structure will be a good road map to chip away at that list.
Absolutely gorgeous yarns as always. My crafty plans for next year are to make more time to crochet, knit and cross stitch. I have been stocking up on supplies and now need and want to start using the, and enjoying making beautiful items. Thank you for offering such gorgeous yarns.
Hi Chandi,
…..for the new year I would love to knit or crochet a cardigan. I see so many beautiful cardigans on your website and I want to be able to say I did that☺️
My crafting goal is to spend more time doing it. I spent way too much time on my iPad this year. When I sit on the couch, I need to be knitting!
Next year the goal is to finish a few projects that have been waiting for me…2024 just got the better of me and all the change that happened.
I plan to knit a cardigan in 2025! I just started knitting this autumn and I hope to be confident enough to begin early this year
My plan for the new year is to move to the mountains, make lots of beanies, scarves. I am also going to and try crocheting a full fledged sweater for myself. I also plan to learn how to sketch and how to make crochet charts.
Here’s wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a fantastic year ahead.
Greetings
I plan to finish the sweater I’m crocheting and start knitting a sweater from a pattern I downloaded from you. I also plan to knit more cowls from your luscious pearlescent worsted yarn.
Happy New Year 🌞🧶🌞
My crafting plans are to finish several WIPs, and make some beautiful knit items. This yarn is absolutely stunning, too! Thanks for the opportunity to win it!😊
Just before Christmas I’m finishing a bolero for my mom and an amigurumi lobster because of my pregnancy announcement, aaaah! I’m really looking forward to my parents reaction. For new years I’d like my first try at some baby things.
In 2025 I plan to continue to weave on my rigid heddle loom and to try new yarns and techniques. I will also continue knitting and make as many things as I can with great yarns!
My crafting plans for 2025 include cross stitch, knitting, and crocheting. I’ve joined a year-long cross stitch SAL beginning 1/1/25, with the goal of finishing my chosen chart and increasing my stitching speed. For knitting, I’ll be finishing a few scarves and shawls using a technique that creates fabric that looks like dragon scales, plus I’ve joined a sock KAL with designer I follow and a local dyer starting in January. Crochet will probably include a heavily beaded shawl I already have kitted. I’d like to join your CAL or KAL and/or just make some projects with your yarn. I saw a peacock yarn today that might look good for dragon scales, too.
I don’t make plans.
I make what ever i want or needs to be made.
I am knitting my first child his first sweater! He just turned 6 months old! I designed a colorwork lightning bug to put on it. Since he was born in June, the lightning bug is his spirit animal! #bug Thank you for the opportunity!
I just want to try and bust through my stash!! I keep buying yarn because it’s gorgeous and I need to start using it. I’m hoping to get more adventurous with my knits, and maybe learn how to crochet this year!
I absolutely love these colors!! I just casted on the Shelter Cove V-neck pullover by Marie Greene. I plan on knitting some socks and a few summer Tee’s. I see a lot of sweaters in my future if I win this one!!
I kind of just knit as I see something I want to make. I have been asked to knit an afghan, so I certainly have plans for that. I’m starting the LILIAS pattern, which I’m sure will start my year off well.
This new year I plan on making my 1st wearable. Sweater or something 🤔.
Plans for the new year- finish 3 sweaters that are still in progress, and practice colorwork so that I can make a colorwork sweater by the end of 2025.
A friend and I will be doing our first MCAL in January. I also hope to work through some of my stash. I have some beautiful yarn that needs to be used. I have a cardigan and a blanket cued up that will be a good start to that end.
I plan to get a head start on some lace ball tree ornaments for everyone on my list next year!
I want to screw up the courage to make a full sized blanket.
My plan for the new year is to craft for my pleasure… not be so hard on myself for not being able to complete every project I want to do.
I’m going to spend this week picking 12 patterns for next year and see what I can match to my stash yaarn. But in general I’m making sweaters and socks this years becuase I’ve realized they get more use. I do have a cardigan and a shawl already on the needles that are my first projects to finish.
Good day to you, I love your inspiration. You are one of the most beautiful people I’ve had walk with me on this path I’m traveling. ♥️ My crafting plans are to finish all I have started: a couple of blankets for the newest additions to my family, a slouch beanie for myself and a shawl, which is one of your patterns, for my niece to use while nursing. Enjoy the holidays and I look forward to your next newsletter. 🤗
My plan for he new year is to crochet some inventory and finally start my crochet business!!
I have a couple cowls planned and a color work sweater.
Hey Chandi, I’m so happy I found your site. I have been mesmerized by all the beautiful patterns and the dreamy yarn fibers. For 2025 i will be making many of the patterns from your site. They are so elegant and beautiful 🤩. I have also watched numerous of your tutorials. You’re a great inspiration and teacher. I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Looking forward to see what you have in store for 2025.
Confidently to knit a few simple tops for myself.
I have been knitting nothing but socks for a while now and plan to start something different in the new year. So many beautiful patterns available it will be hard to decide what to make though. Your yarns are fabulous! <3
My plans are to relax more and spend more time with Expression Fiber Arts patterns and yarns. After all, they are not going to knit or crochet themselves!
I promised Mom three pairs of socks as part of her Christmas gift. Not sure what I’ll work on after that.
I am retiring December 2025
I am going to spend the year make hats, scarfs, an mittens for the people I work with, so they don’t forget me..
I’ve had an off year — hoping the new year brings my knitting mojo back! I’m also hoping to learn Portuguese knitting ….
I just started Jennifer Weissman’s This Way and That shawl with Luster Worsted gradient Mangosteen Hues. Hoping to make my first adult sweater this coming year.
Getting back into knitting sweaters
I want to knit my very first shawl, and my very first pair of socks. Yes, I’m quite new at this. I keep making swatches which is fun but I need to actually finish something!
Well knit more things of course.
These yarns are so BEAUTIFUL!!! My crafting plan for the new year is to learn new things. I’m going to make some sweaters which I never have made a sweater before. And I’m going to learn how to weave. I bought myself a loom for my birthday! Thank you for this opportunity to maybe win some luscious yarn! Would be the perfect cherry on my birthday month!
I plan to complete the 2024 CAL (a new challenge for me!) and explore new yarn varieties to support small businesses.
I would love to knit this gorgeous yarn into a sweater, the color palate fits winter and spring perfectly!
For the next year I would like to continue my knitting-crocheing journey adding some more difficult patterns and I have some goals concerning my spiritual well-being.
My crafting plans for the new year are to learn more knitting techniques!
