Hello, my darling daisy! I have a beautiful, refreshed cabled shawl pattern for you this week. I hope you’ll read on to learn more about it!

West King was designed by Emily Walton. When asked about her design, Emily said, “Everyone has that favorite place where they hang out. Maybe yours is where you read, knit, or enjoy a cup of joe. I do all of the above at a coffee shop on West King Street, hence the name of this pattern. Enjoy the shifting textures and simple lace while you knit your own West King Shawl, and wear it to all of your favorite haunts!”

West King is shown here in our Tranquil DK yarn. Tranquil DK is a 4-ply, ranch-traceable blend of 100% American Wool that has a high twist, amazing softness, and incredible stitch definition, and it produces beautiful, plump stitches. 250 yds/228 m each skein.

This shawl can be made with four skeins of our Tranquil DK or Dewy DK yarn. The sample shown used 858 yds (785 m) total. The sample shawl shown here was made in the color Jam.

This Intermediate level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include simple lace and cables.

This pattern includes written instructions only.
