My favorite season is fall. I grew up in Kentucky, out in the country and the colors of the leaves are stunning! I remember walking through the woods when fall was in full swing, looking at the trees, crunching the already-fallen leaves and breathing in that first hint of crispness in the air. The sunlight streaming through the multi-colored leaves is so pretty and my favorite holiday, Halloween, is in the fall! Beautiful warm days and clear crisp nights. The glow of jack-0-lanterns and the sound of owls off in the distance….what’s not to love?
My favorite season is spring. I love the soft greens of newly emerged leaves and the feeling of anticipation.
Hello there beautiful lady. I have two favorite seasons. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. The beautiful fall colors of the Pennsylvania trees are my best memories of mother nature. Back in Pennsylvania in 1975 I met and married the best man of my life. He is from Greece. So on 1984 we moved to Greece. 4 kids and 6 grandbabies later I’m still in Crete. My favorite season here is spring
Your yarn is gorgeous. There is no way I can find something like that here. I really would like to try some. (I bet when you said write a comment, you didn’t know you would get a book.)
I like spring with the sounds of everything come to life again.
I love each season because there is always something to look forward to! But my favorite is Summer pools , bbq’s, outside gardening. Love the warmth of the sun just feeling like a hug. The kiss of warmth on your shoulders as your outside doing stuff in the garden. Fall as the warmth of the days leave the colors of the trees gets warmer in a final goodbye as they leave a reminder that the warmth of Summer will return.
Here in Southern California we only have two seasons: about 10-11 months of hot summer and 1-2 months of rainy summer. But I do love when it rains: everything gets so clean and bright.
I love spring most just before summer because it’s so colorful and warm, but not too hot and dry yet.
My favorite season is summer when the flowers are blooming and the weather is nice and you can be outside with books and pets and gardens. I love all bright colors.
My favorite season is Fall. I love the colors of the changing leaves and the weather changing from the long hot summers. I love fashion and the majority of my clothes are earth colors with blue or green accessories. Fall is like the earth hibernating until beautiful Spring comes back along!
Autumn! It has everything you could want in a season: warm days, cold nights, & the best holidays. Landscapes are breath taking draped in fall colors, too. Just thinking about fall motivates me to knit. It’s my happy place. The teals in the photo are gorgeous!
i love Summer!! Warm fun long days, short nights! beauty everywhere!! colors everywhere!! and when its time to say good bye! The Warm colors of the leaves is a final goodbye and rememberance that it will be back.
If I had to pick a favorite season, it would be Fall. I love the spirit of Fall.
The change in the weather, Fall colors, and the fun of Halloween are a few things I love about this season.
Once again, ya got my blues up there, in my B-Day month. Blue sparkly, blue in variegated in a watery/earthy mix, blue tonal. That silver/lavender is awesome. Love the white/offwhite/white with tweed trio. As usual, all winners.
Couldn’t get into enter or comment
I have looked at this collection and it is lovely
Spring and Summer especially
My favorite season is Fall! My wedding anniversary, Granddaughter’s birthday, and favorite holidays are all in Fall!
Oh absolutely love fall and spring.. the colors of the cycle of life are just beyond gorgeous.. 100% inspired
My favorite season is autumn. I love when the leaves change and the air is crisp.
I love the fall. Love the changing colours of the trees and cooler weather.
Hello,
My favorite season is winter. I love the early nights, because it allows for star gazing while drinking hot chocolate. Living in a desert also means that the winters aren’t typically below freezing or wet. When it does snow, the landscape is a beautiful combination of white, browns, evergreens, blues and purples. However, the canyon winds bring a chill to the air, and lend the perfect excuse to wear all the warm crocheted and knitted garments one can make.
My favorite season the the fall. I was born in October, I love the colors, I love the weather and I love Halloween!
For me it’s a toss up between spring with the new leaves emerging and the earth bursting forth with flowers and fall with the beautiful autumn colors.
Oh my, those colours are absolutely dreamy, and complement each other so well! My favourite collection so far 🙂 Winter is definitely my favourite season, especially when the snow is down – I think snow is a great equalizer of people, and brings them together. I also love the early evenings, snuggling under whatever yarn project I’m working on, keeping me toasty warm 🙂
Actualy, I love them all, but if I had to pick one I would chose autumn. The colours and smell when you are on a hike through an autumn forest are awesome. Greerings from Germany, Andrea
I have two seasons, fall for the gorgeous orange and red colors and spring when flowers start to bloom. I love color
My favorite season is Spring. So many beautiful colors. Brights and pastels. Everything is new again
I love fall because the weather is cooler and the leaves are beautiful.
I love fall. Growing up in NH it’s beautiful and the weather is perfect for camping! And nothing beats the smell of fall!!
My favorite season is Fall! Love the food, especially the apples. We pick apples and make pies, apple sauce, and dry our apples every year! Love me some sunflowers and breaking out the sweaters!
Hi Chandi,
My favorite season would have to be winter. I know that may be an unusual choice, but I love the crisp cold and the quiet that comes with everyone and everything being in hibernation mode. I like that you can see each individual branch on a tree, and look into the woods and possibly see where it opens up again. I also love the random days thrown in that make you believe it’s going to be warming up, just when you need that bit of warmth and proof of life. I’m also a big fan of layering and sweaters if I choose to go out. I’m a homebody though, so I have more reason to stay inside and be comfortable with a book, or knitting and crocheting.
Summer!!!
I live for Spring! I live in Alabama and we just don’t get enough. The first roses of the year are the most beautiful and the lily bulbs look like pineapple tops after they break the ground. I am guilty of planting my tomatoes too soon because I just can’t wait to play in the dirt, then I’m out there covering them up because of a late frost.
Winter! I love making and admiring snowmen.
I get really excited about winter! I love the crisp smell in the air right before it snows. I feel like I can smell all the colors in that crisp, chilly air — the white of the snow, the browns of the trees as they finish shedding their leaves, the orange-brown of cinnamon that we put in our teas and coffees and the silver of light as it shines through the icicles. I LOVE pulling out my hand-knitted hats, socks, slippers, sweaters, cowls and mittens to keep me warm as I go on winter adventures to visit my friends and family whilst knitting for them, too. Yes, winter is certainly my favorite season of the year!
Spring, because fishies be munchin.
I love fall! It’s the colors, and the cooling air, and the smell of fallen leaves. I moved to the AZ desert 15 years ago, and it’s thoughts of fall that really take me back to growing up in the Midwest.
My favorite season will have to be fall. It’s so beautiful how the colors of the trees change. ( but then I like all seasons because I like how we transition to the next season, I live were I can enjoy the four seasons)
First of all congrats to Ann Adams on winning last month’s giveaway! 💙
My favorite season is Spring, at least it was while still living in Germany. Now, being in the Bay Area, the seasons are just a blur and you can’t really tell them apart. We have a few weeks here and there with rain or being warmer than usual but that’s it, no real seasons. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Mediterranean climate of the Bay but I miss seeing nature in the different colors of the year.
I loved to see everything turn green and start to bloom again after the winter snow melts. Also experiencing brisk mornings with the knowledge that it’ll turn warm during the day, which coincides with getting your spring/summer clothes out of storage. It always felt like shopping with all the things you forgot you had. 😍 It might also have to do with the fact that my Birthday is in April, lol. 🤣
What about you, Chandi? What’s your favorite season?
My favorite season is the summer. I love the outdoors and gardening, I’m also a huge fan of swimming.
Well I dont have a favorite season, because where I live there arent. But Im glad to say that this city its cold most of the time, and thats the BEST for knitting and crochetting, at least for me. When its to hot I cant handle the yarn (and my life).
Xoxo
Well, my favorite season is rainy, it gives a whole greeny texture to mother earth , flower blooms and give different colour patches on green layer, it also give a new life to plants.
My favorite season is monsoon for mainly two reasons
1}Children enjoy this season to the utmost, they take shower, float paper boats and dive in the water of rain. All water bodies often get full of water, the rivers that dry get plenty of water. All plants and trees become green and greenery makes the environment more beautiful.
2}my birthday falls on this season ..so when it rains i feel the sky is wishing me on my birthday
Monsoon sounds exotic to me, complex and intriguing!
Hello,
Summer is my favorite season. I hate being cold and I love driving with the windows down. I’ve always loved the way summer just gives the most opportunities to be outside. Despite our recent heatwave, I still love it.
My favorite season are spring and summer because I love my flowers blooms everywhere both my front yard and back yard. It’s so beautiful during the spring season. I love to gardening in the summer to grow my own food and share with my neighbors and friends.
I love all the seasons for different reasons, but I think I look forward to autumn the most. I love when the weather starts cooling down but it’s still sunny out, and the leaves change color. It’s truly Mother Nature putting on her best colors! It’s the best time to wear one of my crocheted or knitted shawls!!
My favorite season is spring. We live in farmland and spring is the season when farmers have gotten their fields planted, crops are starting to grow, and everything is a beautiful spring green. It’s such a clean time of the year when the fields have been turned and newly planted, the weeds haven’t started coming up yet, the sun isn’t so hot that green turns to brown – it’s simply the most beautiful time of the year. I love to sit on the deck in the early mornings, sipping my coffee, listening to the birds, and drinking in the peace.
I think my favorite time would have to be autumn. The leaves are just starting to change into gorgeous colors and it starts to cool off after a hot summer.
My favorite season is fall! I love how the temperature is not too warm and not too cold but just right! The leaves turning orange, red and gold add such a beautiful picture!
Congratulations Ann Adams!!!!
I love spring, because it is like a new life is beginning. All birds are happy and singing, de trees getting new leaves and the grass have such a beautiful color or colour (sorry, i do not now)
I am always looking forward to spring, I love it
Where I live now, there are no seasons. I try to visit family during fall. I love the colors of the forests and walking through scrunchy leaves. The mums are beautiful.
My favourite season is winter! I like the snow and wearing sweaters
I really enjoy the changing of all seasons. But if I had to choose spring, because the flowers are starting to bloom and the earth is changing and beautiful.
My favorite season is Spring!
Winter is fading away. The air caresses my skin with softness and warmth. The earth clothes itself with tiny green leaves.
In Spring, I can breathe in the delicate sweet scent of pink blossoms, and breathe out stress.
To me, Spring is the season of Hope and Endless Possibilities.
Fall would be my favorite season. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. I love making things in fall colors. That’s usually the palette my heart goes too! I would say that I love the cooler temps but I live in SC!
I love summer because I am a beach person. Can’t beat the coastline to take away your troubles!
I really love the fall. All the colors, cool weather and we got to the adirondacks so I can knit by lake all day. I just ordered umber hues from you Chandi. I am so excited. How about you Chandi, what is your favorite season. Congrats to June winner!
I’m a fall gal! Love the crisp weather and the beautiful colors of fall. 😊
Hi I like the spring in Germany, it’s not so hot and I love the fresh green leaves overall. Sorry for my English 😉
Your English is fine. It’s better than my halting German. (My German is really more like Denglish lol.) Good luck in the giveaway.
I really like spring, I live in Alaska and in about Aprli all the snow is melted away and there are more hours of sunlight and there is beautiful sunny weather.
I’m lucky and live in a distinct four season location. I really like Fall. There are still warm days but the air is changing. Crisp mornings and evenings, leaves begin changing to gorgeous colors. One can smell the changes too when walking, an earthy aroma.
My favourite season is spring because the weather is just perfect and nature is beautiful.
I live in Dubai in gulf. Its very hot here . I like cold so i fly to Canada in July August. Due to covid19 I am not able to travel . I love the fall colours and whites in winter. i love to drape different kinds and colour of shawls and sweaters.
My favourite season ever is Autumn/Fall. I love the changing leaves and cooler air and NO humidity. I just wish it lasted longer. 🍁
Spring is my favorite season now. The summers are just too hot nowadays. But I love the longer days and breezy evenings of the summer.
My favorite is FALL.. No longer HOT but still warm enough for shorts and bare feet.. Still stays light longer than 5 o’clock.. GREAT beach weather.. Things are starting to slow down and hot chocolate. Football. Bike rides in afternoon after work and great fishing… ❤❤❤
…
Congratulations, Ann,
I enjoy all the seasons, and the changes between them.
My favorite? Probably summer…I need the sunshine!
Love a crisp sunny fall where I can wear soft sweaters and jeans. Love apples and pumpkins and cold mornings with the leaves falling. What a wonderful time of the year.
My favorite season is springtime. I love when you can first see a green tinge on the trees that are starting to bud out. And of course flowers, they are either coming up or I’m planting them! 🌺.
I love when fall and winter roll around because the sun sets earlier and the house feels cozier in the evening.
My favorite season is winter because I live in the low desert of southern Arizona. Winter is our main growing season, and the weather is very mild.
Fall, always! my birthday, wearing jeans and a hoodie, warm sun and cool breezes, rain, leaves, football, and of course Halloween is the best. I can’t wait!
My favorite season is fall because the leaves change colors!
My favorite season is Fall, particularly October when the leaves are changing and the weather is crisp but not too cold and everything is pumpkin spice flavored and everybody is roasting squash and making soup and stew! It’s the comfiest season <3
Spring is the best because I don’t like to sweat!
My favorite season is spring because my birthday is in spring and I just love the flowers all around as well as the weather!🌈⛅️🌸🌷🌹🌻🌼🌺
Hi Chandi! My favorite season would have to be Autumn! I love the smell of the leaves in their final triumphant glory! The earthtone color palate is my favorite. Wrapping myself up in a comfy sweater, no jacket required, has to be the most comfortable feeling in the whole world! Like an eternal hug from nature! Absolutely love, love, love this season’s color palate.
My love winter. The weather is so cold that you can always snuggle at home with layers of blankets.
I love fall/autumn best…the weather cooling down after the sweltering summers of central California. I love the earthy colors, golds, burgandys & browns
I love spring and fall! Spring because after a long harsh winter here in Minnesota; and you see the first green of plants and trees and rhubarb, it is a welcoming sight! And fall because everything starts slowing down; the leaves are changing, farmers are harvesting their crops before old man winter comes knocking, the air gets crisper and fresher and you can cozy up with your favorite sweater or blanket! I may love fall a little more only because my birthday is in fall! But spring and fall are my favorite seasons!
Well, I live in Houston, TX, and we don’t really have seasons… We essentially have summer and not-summer. 🙂 I do love late spring/early summer, especially the nights, before the humidity ratchets up to 100%, when being outside is like being wrapped in a warm blanket. So nice!
The older I get the more I love the fall because I look forward to the rainy cold days which are a great excuse to knit or crochet all day! ❤️
I love Autumn! The heat from Summer still lingers as the chill hits here and there.
My favorite season is spring. I just love the flower colors of spring. My husband and I travel in an RV. It ‘s so much fun driving from Texas spring blue bonnets to Arizona blooming cactus to California poppies to Irises in Oregon.
I love fall! The colors, apples, pumpkins, beautiful leaves! Crisp air!
Dear Chandi
Thank you for your lovely yarn giveaway. My favourite season is Spring. Everything comes alive again and amazing smells fill the air.
It’s a toss up between spring and fall! I love seeing my garden come to life in the spring after a long cold winter, but I also love the crisp cool days of fall! Fall also comes with all the beautiful fall colors and of course apple cider and apple crisp!
Dear Chandi,
It is really difficult to choose a favorite season. Each one is beautiful and unique and it lasts just long enough that I’m excited for the next season with all of its unique beauty that it unfolds. There is so much to behold on this perfect planet it’s difficult to truly absorb it all!!! But I do take the time to ponder the magnificent wonders of creation, and it’s abundance of unique vibrant hues, endless textures, tantalizing scents, decadent flavors, and intriguing sounds, full of gratitude for each and every day! Every day is a unique gift to be cherished and treasured! Wouldn’t you agree?
Spring would have to be my favorite season – pretty flowers blooming in soooo many colors – blue, purple, Yellow (!), red…. I love the bright, light green of the new leaves on the trees – especially after months of brown, dreary looking hillsides. The Fall season is my second fave – alllll those warm colors – makes me want to snuggle up in rusts, teals, reds, rich browns.
I love all the seasons….
Summer barbecues, fresh berries and lovely balmy evenings on the deck with wine in hand.
Autumn colours, preserving the last of the summer bounty and wearing the beautiful hand knit garments in the wardrobe.
Winter walks on the beach, hot chocolate by the fire, knitting, reading, movies and music on those bleak wet days.
Spring flowers popping up, summer vegetables to plant, asparagus to enjoy.
…. and around we go again.
I love summer. I like growing a vegetable garden and the days just feel more relaxed!
I love fall because of the seasonal flavors like pumpkin and apples
Favorite season is summer because I get time to myself! (Teaching is challenging!) I love having time to just sit and crochet a new project and visit new places.
I am a big fan of Summer, Spring and Fall are both nice too. While Winter can be pretty, the long months of cold get to me. I like to be able to get outside, walk through the woods, hike, swim and feel the warm sunshine on my skin 🙂
My favorite season is Autumn♡. I love the way the leaves turn in the mountains on the east coast and the hills rolling with warm colors in the north where my home state is. I love the smells in the air, the decorations, and the cozy feeling.
My favorite season is fall. I grew up in Michigan where we have all 4 seasons and in fall the weather is cool and crisp and the leaves turn beautiful colors. I really love maple leaves in the fall!
Even after last year’s freeze, winter is still my favorite. Because apart from the occasional bitter temperature, winter in the south is like fall everywhere else.
My favorite season I’d fall. I was raised in Florida where there is really no season changes. I have recently moved North where I experienced my first real fall and winter.
I love spring with all the flowering trees and barely warm weather. Too bad it doesn’t last longer!
I’m not sure I could pick a favorite season. There is something about each one that I love!
My favorite season is spring, but fall is a very close second. Spring beats fall because all of the flowers are starting to emerge in the spring and let out a sea of color. Also, all of my vegetable plants are starting to grow and thrive. This is the time of year when I get to produce quality vegetable plants for people, help them to make the right decision based on their needs, and watch something that I grew from seed produce lovely fruits all through the summer.
I love fall the best. Love the color of the leaves and cool breezes!
I love spring because my birthday is in March. Spring is a season of hope and new beginnings, everything is possible in spring!
My favorite season is fall. I love the leaves changing color and the promise of family get togethers just around the corner!
Ha! That’s a tough question as there is good in every season change. Today I think spring, when the flowers start poking up, the trees get buds, the green grass starts to say hello and the birds get happy.
Oh wow those colours are just lovely, thanks for hosting another giveaway! Summer is my favourite month as it reminds me of my childhood, biking around the small neighbourhood I grew up in with my friends. My birthday is also in the Summer and I have fond memories of birthday celebration traditions with my parents.
Early fall is my favorite season – cool crisp mornings and warm afternoons! The days are still long too! Love all the autumn colors especially paired with a deep navy.
My favorite time of year is Fall. I love the cool crisp evenings. The big plus especially being here in Texas. You can snuggle under the blanket you are knitting /crocheting.
My favorite season is Spring. I love when buds appear on shrubs and trees and the pale green of the emerging leaves. I also love watching my garden come to life.
Fall is my favorite. The weather is perfect and football and colors.
My favorite season is spring. The weather here in The Netherlands is great in spring-time. All the flowers and trees are in bloom, the birds are singing and pretty spring colors are everywhere around. And.. it’s THE greatest season for wearing a pretty crochet shawl.
I love spring, it’s really my favorite season. The weather here in the Netherlands is great. The sun is shining and the temperature is great. In the spring everything is in bloom, beautiful colors and scents of the flowers and the birds are chirping pleasantly. And… spring is the perfect season to wear a great self-crocheted shawl!
Summer – give me the heat!
My favorite season is fall. It starts to cool down without getting too cold. The days get shorter and the nights get longer. I have an affinity for the moon so I’ve always been a night person. I also get very nostalgic when dusk hits so that happens earlier in fall. Sun is more muted so the light isnt as harsh. And people start using their fireplaces so you smell it in the air. It’s also the start of family gatherings due to the holidays.
So hard to choose! I Will have to say my favorite season is Fall because everything starts to slow down after the bustle of summer, fall colors, hikes, bonfires, and it is finally cool enough to start wearing sweaters!
Fall is absolutely my favorite season! The colors, cool weather and the clothing are the best of all seasons. Cute boots, busting out the knits and accessories; the perfect time of year.
I love the springtime. I love to watch the renewal of life as trees begin to turn green and flowers start to bloom. Spring is always full of hope and anticipation of good things to come!
My favorite seasons change as I move to different parts of the US. Dallas was spring time, when everything turns bright green and the flowers bloom. Southern Colorado was summertime because we could camp, hike, fish, and enjoy the woods and mountains. New Mexico was the fall, when the cottonwood trees turn electric yellow and the temperatures finally break from the summer heat. And West Texas…..well, I’m not sure yet🤣. I’m hoping that autumn will bring good growing weather for the garden and some nice weather for camping and hiking.
Truly hard to have a favorite season. Spring for the renewal of hope, Summer for the endless days of adventuring, Fall for the beginning of sweater weather, and Winter for the joy the holidays bring. Each season is a full of anticipation of things to come.
I love spring time, it’s perfect when the weather is just starting to warm up and could go outside and relax while the kids are playing in the back yard. No hot or any humidity. 0 bugs lol. Perfect nights to have a fire outside and hang out with friends/ family. Rainy days to cuddle up on the couch and crochet a few rounds and watch movies. Also watching all the plants starting to bud. Really gets me out of those winter blues.
My favorite season is Fall or Spring. I love the changing leaves, crisp air, and sweaters. I also love new flowers popping up to make the world beautiful again!
I love all the different seasons of the year. I am a bit partial to Autumn though because my birthday falls in that part of the year. Each part of the year has something wonderful to look forward to. Spring has new growth popping up through the earth bringing forth lovely flowers, fruits and vegetables. Summer brings us heat and the lazy days of it’s making. Autumn gives us the last burst of colour before fading into Winter’s cold gloomy grasp. It’s a lovely circle of life repeating over and over.
My favorite season is Spring: I love to see the earth wake up from slumber and put on fresh new clothes.
My favorite season is Summer: I gather in the bounty of the garden while the varied birds compete for a silent moment to trill their song to the world.
My favorite season is Fall: The world explodes into color and I rejoice over full pantries and freezers.
My favorite season is Winter: I glory in the stark beauty while warm and snug, my hands full of soft yarn.
My favorite season is now.
I love Spring! After months of cold and grey skies in upstate NY, spring is so uplifting with spring flowers and bird songs!
My favorite season is Winter. I live in So Cal and the other seasons are too hot. Winter is perfect.
My favorite season is spring. I love seeing the new growth. I miss being in New England and watching for crocus.
Fav season is spring because my hubs and I are both avid gardeners, and living in Georgia, we can get all kinds of plants and seeds started early, and I love tending to them! And of course, then we enjoy the lovely flowers and eat super healthy veggies and fruits!
Definitely autumn, when the leaves turn and it’s jacket weather. Spring is a close second, though.
Autumn is my favorite season because the weather cools, the leaves turn, and it’s time to go apple and pumpkin picking. It’s also the time of year to put on a cozy sweater and sit with a hot beverage under a warm blanket with my favorite person, a cuddly cat, and a good book or my latest knitting project.
It’s a tough choice between spring and fall. Spring always brings hope and new birth while fall is cool, crisp and perfect for hand knit garments.
Congratulations to Ann. My favorite season is fall. The weather is perfect where I live during that time. And everything turns to pumpkin spice.
I love the colors in this giveaway! Great choices! My favorite season is Spring…the weather starts warming, plants begin to grow and some beautiful flowers start to bloomQ
I love Fall because of the changing colors and the smell of a cool breezy Autumn day. Nature gives one last bonanza of flowers and fruit before shutting down for winters rest.
Oh by far for me it’s the autumn. I just love the rich, deep hues of the season.
I love the fall! The humidity is low and in the evening there is a little crispness. I love the fall colors as well.
Fall is my favorite with the cooling weather and cozy clothes. Nothing can replace the gorgeous colors displayed by the leaves on the trees.
My favorite season is spring. Everything is new and starting to bloom. I love finding buds on bushes and crocuses pushing up.
I love fall! The crisp air, warm apple cider, apple picking and then baking pies and crisp. Definitely my favorite time of year.
My favorite season is Spring. I love to see the surrounding scenery suddenly turn green. I love to see all the different flowers, too. The sunshine and the longer days always make me feel more hopeful.
I am obsessed with your yarns!! I wish you had a storefront in Charlotte…
My favorite season is Autumn. Crisp air, crisp apples, and being able to knit without turning into a puddle on my chair. Oh, and my birthday, too! ❤
My favorite season is mid-late spring. I love the warm sunshine, the blooming flowers, and the greening of the trees and grass. The world comes alive again.
My favorite season is Fall🍁I find it relaxing. Cooling off and settling in for Winter.
Fall is my favorite. Beautiful colors and clear crisp air.
I love winter the most! I love watching it snow, and how peacefully quiet it is especially when it’s snowing at night. I love big cozy sweaters and hot chocolate and snuggling under a big squishy comforter. ❤️
Has to be Fall! Not too hot, not too cold and lots of knitted things can be worn, even in layers!
I love the summer. Give me the heat. I love to sit on the porch with my thread and whip out all those doilies! Summer is berry picking time, time for lots of fresh veggies and canning and freezing them. YUM!
Winter is my favorite. I love ice and snow and cold and dark. It’s also the best season for bundling up in all of my knitted things!
Congratulations to the winner! I love cooler weather so I would have to say fall/ Autumn season is my favorite.. unfortunately here where I live we seem to have an eternal late spring/summer hot and dry!! All year round
Each season is my favorite when I am in it. I love spring because everything begins to turn green and the the plants start poking through the earth. Summer gives us warmth and beautiful flowers and produce from the garden. Autumn brings cool crisp days, fresh apples, and the leaves turning beautiful colors. Winter may be cold and snowy where I live, but I enjoy it for the different beauty this season brings.
My favorite season is Summer. I love the warmth and sunshine. I love planting flowers and watching them grow, and flower. I enjoy being at a lake, by the beach or boating!
I go back and forth between Fall and Winter. I love the fashion: cute sweaters, boots, scarves, etc. It’s all so much fun! Curling up on the couch with a blanket, a cup of tea, and a book…it’s such a great day!
Congratulations Ann, confident you will love working Chandi’s beautiful yarn. I love winter, love being able to wrap myself up, and see my yarn 🧶 friends in their beautiful creations.
While I love the changes that every season brings, I think that fall is my favorite. The beautiful colors and the slight chill in the air is refreshing after a hot summer and it is the only time of year that all sports are played!!
My favorite season is whatever season I’m in at the time. I used to hate winter then I realized it was the best time of year to wear many of my knitted garments and who doesn’t love Christmas?! In summer I love walking outside in my pajamas in the morning. I like the heat and sun. I love autumn because I love watching the trees and garden change as we harvest veggies. I love the spring because it’s warm and new growth is everywhere. I like living in a climate with 4 seasons.
My favorite season is winter. I love that ivget to snuggled close to my loved ones. It’s the best time for me to make and gift projects. After Alaska, I have always loved winter and snowy seasons. You can wear layers and always put more on. I just love the way the world looks with a fresh blanket of snow.
Hi Chandi, I’m a Fall to Winter Season gal. I used to LOVE Summer until I got older and my personal heater kicked on 24/7, if you know what I mean 🙂 I’ve always loved the colors of Fall but am beginning to appreciate the winter, seeing snow as a new color of refection not just white. I live in Southern California so we don’t really do “seasons” but through my travels I’m learning to appreciate them in other places. Always a joy to see the new colors you reflect as Seasons in your dyeing.
I love all seasons for different reasons!! However, being raised in Louisiana all my life it felt like Summer all the time and so I just don’t prefer hot seasons all the time. Lol I recently moved to the midwest in southwest Missouri and am loving having all 4 seasons to enjoy. My favorite is early spring and early fall. Love the smells as the Temps go from cold to warm abs vixe versa… it brings the excitement of what is yet to come, a fresh newness.
I love Winter and Spring. The cold, rainy winter makes me want to curl up with a book or my knitting and I love seeing my plants come alive in the spring.
Fall is my favorite for all the normal reasons — crisp air, the luscious colors of the changing leaves, and the glory of hillside but mostly because it’s when my husband and I fell in love!!!
It’s hard to choose between spring and autumn as I don’t love extremes of heat or cold so the transition to miler weather is always great. But I probably slightly prefer spring with the warmth and start of growing season most
I would have to say spring/summer when everything is blooming. I especially love when the lavender blooms and my front yard smells amazing!
It is beautiful in summer where I live, a town in Texas- seeing the the green trees and the wildflowers and be able to pick strawberries and blackberries and listen to bird-song 1
I love summer.
My favorite season(s) would have to be spring (and summer). I love it when the weather begins to warm up, everything seems to be so fresh, and new flowers are just starting to peek out and reach for the sun! Added bonus of birthdays of loved ones! 🙂
Thank you for being so upbeat and cheerful and producing such beautiful yarns and patterns!
My favorite season is fall. I love the changing colors of the trees and cool weather. I also love to cook during the cooler seasons, especially soups. I taught myself to crochet by watching YouTube videos during the pandemic and have become completely obsessed with it. Your yarns are beautiful and would be a new challenge for me. Best of luck everyone! 🤞🏼
My favorite season would be summer, I guess.
In the summertime it’s warm and the days last longer. Everything is green, you can see flowers everywhere. The nights are warm enough to be spent outside, maybe around the firepit and eating some roasted marshmallows.
My favorite season is Fall. Beautiful warm colors of browns, oranges, yellows, etc.
My favorite season is spring. All the fresh colors, new growth, soft air; it makes me want to get up early and out in it. FL doesn’t have any season but summer(!), but I remember living in GA, where I could feel Spring coming just by feeling the air. 💕
Autumn is my favourite season. Weather is warm but not to hot but it stays light enough that you can still enjoy an early evening swim or a nice walk.
It used to be summer, when I was young. Because I was free to travel and discover the world, on school breaks.
I don’t think I have a favorite season now. Each has its own beauty. Spring, with the renewal in nature. Summer, with its beautiful starry evenings. Autumn, with its magical colors. Winter, with cozy moments in front of the fire.
I’m torn between fall and spring! I love fall because the VA weather is PERFECT, but spring has so much beauty when all the trees and flowers start blooming.
I love fall time!! It’s not too hot outside, not too cold yet. I love all the colors of the leaves changing. It also means my favorite holiday, Halloween is coming up
I love the fall weather of NYC but I love summertime when there is a vast migration out of the city, there are less kids of the subways, you can actually find parking, the parks are full, barbecues reign supreme.
Since I live in Florida my favorite season is winter. When I lived in New Jersey my favorite season was Spring. I am not a fan of ice and snow. Here in Florida the winter brings beautiful sunny days with low humidity and cooler temperatures.
My favourite season is fall. The summer humidity/heat is gone and I love the colours of all the leaves in the fall. Canadian Thanksgiving with friends and family I love..
Beautiful Give Away! Makes my fingers tingle. Fall does that for me, too. I am invariably inspired by Autumn to pick up my brush to capture the shapes of branches newly revealed, of roof peaks emerging into view again as the masses of greenery withdraw. And, here in the NC Piedmont, we emerge from our air-conditioning to walk, and walk, and walk!
My favorite season is spring. It’s like a renewal every year with new things coming up and growing! The colors of everything coming up are so gorgeous! It’s like all the beautiful colors of your yarn!
Hello, I so love the colors chosen for this month’s giveaway. So rich in depth, those lovely blues. My favorite season it fall or anytime during summer when it’s cool and comfortable, no humidity.
As a Canadian I get to enjoy all four seasons. The change from one to the other is beautiful. Choosing one is hard but spring is just amazing. everything coming to life the emerging colors of flowers is my favorite.
My favorite season is Spring. I love all things colorful. The plants coming back to life flowers blooming, I’m in Louisiana so all the colors of the different flowers and flowering trees. It is beautiful. It also brings out the hummingbirds who are lovelyittle creatures.
We have no real seasons in Singapore so I appreciate any cool weather when I travel 🥰
Today I’m going to say Summer. This winter has been colder than it has been for many years and darn soaking wet so bring on the heat I say! 😉
My favorite season is spring, when life is renewed. The winter snow is melting and you see the crocus popping up. Life has begun again and it is beautiful 🌺
My favourite is Fall with all the leaves changing colours, the smell of wood smoke as people light their fireplaces, and of course, going to the orchard for fresh, hand-picked apples!
My favorite season is Spring! I love the greens and the spring blossoms in contrast.
My favorite season is summer. I actually enjoy the humidity, and I love swimming.
I can’t pick a season. I love them all and I look forward to each season. That’s why I have a difficult time picking colors from your fabulous yarns. They are all absolutely gorgeous!
My favorite season is winter, simply because that’s when Christmas happens…love the holiday season!
Folks are so happy during the holiday season it seems.
And then there is Santa, I truly love that jolly ol elf…the colors of Christmas are my go to nearly year round.
My favorite season is Summer. I love the warmer weather and all the sunshine we get. I enjoy the blues which reminds me of water, swimming, boating, kayaking, beaching….
My favorite season is fall, when the leaves start to change color, and the pumpkin and all the lovely warm spices come to life ♥️
That’s an easy question to answer. My favorite season is the fall. That is when I get to really start wearing all the beautiful things I have made with beautiful yarn. I guess I am a little bit of a show off!
My favourite season is spring … the colours … the flowers … the sunshine … the lengthening days … but also lots of family birthdays and gatherings.
Being in the Southern Hemisphere we are currently in a damp and cold winter … hope comes with spring around the corner 😃
It’s a toss up between fall and spring. I love gardening and those first warm days after a long winter. Something about fall feels so renewing to me, though. I am my happiest in spring and fall.
I love Autumn! One of my favorite memories from childhood was watching the maple trees that lined nearly every street of my hometown turn fiery shades of red. Raking the fallen leaves into a giant crunchy pile (over and over again) so I could jump into it runs a close second. Chandi, thanks for nudging these memories into my consciousness.
My favorite season is fall. My Birthday is in october! I also love the feel of coming inside after a busy fun summer, lighting scented candles, baking and decorating with pumpkins and cinnamon and starting a NEW knitting project!
Spring, I love the mild weather and the new life!
Hi Chandi 👋
Thanks for the generous giveaway! So excited to be a new subscriber!
My favorite season was always Fall, growing up in NY! So cool and crisp, lovely colors, and full of promise for the coming new year!!
But now I live in Florida … so pretty much only have 2 seasons: hurricane 🌀🙄season, and Paradise the other half of the year!! 🤣🏖🏝
I love all four seasons……it just amazes me how beautiful they all are.
My favorite season is Fall. I like the mist. And I am bourne in Fall.
Hello! My favorite season is spring, but late spring. I like when everything is new and green, it holds such promise for tomorrow.
My favorite time of year is Summer but Spring is a close second. I look the warn weather, the fact that the winter coats and layers are gone. I also love the beach, longer daylight and the beautiful flowers and trees.
Definitely Winter! I can finally stop sweating and wear all of the gorgeous stuff that I’ve been knitting the rest of the year!
Spring is my favourite. The smell of earth once thawed, the exquisite pale greens of emerging leaves and buds and the age-old feeling of life singing through me is exhilarating 🙂
My favorite season is Spring; full of burgeoning promise, sweet buzzing bees, and a horizon of new projects to look forward to. A renewal and reconnection with all that we let be for a while as we cocooned in warmth and short days.
My favorite season is fall because of the beautiful weather, my birthday, a local festival, and Halloween.
What beautiful colours! I love the fall. It’s warm during the days and cool during the night and the colours of the trees as they turn are heart lifting. Nature is a wonderful artist.
My favorite season is Fall. The air turns crisp and the smell of wood smoke is in the air. It’s cool enough for sweaters, not cold enough yet for coats and you still have glorious warm days without humidity.
Spring is my favorite season because everything is greening and blooming and fresh…
I have to go with Autumn. 100%. The cooler temps, the burst of color, perfect weather for a cozy sweater or cuddling up with a book and blanket… Ahhh… I only wish it’d last longer.
🧡❤️💛🤎💚
My favourite season would have to be fall. Our seasons are all messed up nowadays! I used to be a springtime girl, but lately spring and summer have been battling for supremacy and flipping back and forth. It’s exhausting! Now give me fall colours, smells and cozy scarves. You can have my share of the pumpkin spice whatevers too….I’m not a fan, but I do like me some apple cider!!
I love fall and winter. All seasons have something beautiful to offer, but the cool and then cold weather is so much more comfortable. The autumn colors and then the crisp contrasts of winter are my favorite. I can pile on all the cozy knitted goods and have a warm body surrounded by brisk, chilly shit.
My favourite season is fall because it’s nos too hot, and it’s Halloween!!!
*chilly air (sorry, autocorrect 😔)
I like winter, because I can wear hoodies without getting too hot.
I love the spring when everything starts to grow again. I am drawn to the new crisp greens, the rainbow colors of the flowers, delicate blossoms on the trees, and of course the warmer temperatures.
My favorite season is winter. It is the beginning of a new cycle
My favorite season is Winter. I love getting cozy in my house while it snows outside and the Christmas season!!
Hi Chandi lovely,
I adore your patterns and your yarns!!!
My favorite season is spring because that is when colors we somehow have forgotten emerge and renew our creativity. Like when the the blossoms that come alive almost unexpectedly on the Eastern Red Bud tree. Then I start looking for more emerging colors.
When I see the colors of your yarns and your patterns they inspire me just the same. Your positive vision take creativity with this world of fibers and designs to a level of excellence. Thank you!
Fall is definitely my favorite! All the best things in my life have happened in fall. The trees are always a beautiful arrangement of colors, the cool breeze is a nice welcome from the summer warmth, and my favorite apples and apple ciders are all fresh and on sale! Truly such a wonderful season.
Summer is my favorite season, I love being outdoors!
My favorite season is spring. I love the awakening of everything in nature. 🌸🦋🌱💐🌻🌺
My favorite season has to be fall! Crisp air, sweaters, colorful leaves and spiced baked goods!
Fall is my favorite season! It has the most stunning colors! The leaves are changing from day to day, and the sky is the bluest of blues – so crisp and clear – with bright sunshine! It’s not too hot or cold; it’s just right! I can count on lots of clear sunny days in the fall when I can enjoy the outdoor air and not worry about lots of rain or stormy weather. And another great thing about fall: Sweater Weather!!!
Congratulations Ann!!!!!! 💓
My favorite season is the one I’m in! Spring with the birds return, new life bringing its colors back into the world, rain, planting in the dirt; summer’s heat, sunshine, a little more relaxed pace of life, hikes in the mountain; fall colors, temperate temperatures, beginning of fun holidays, harvest of summer’s growth; winter with its cooking and baking smells, cold, snuggly knitted cloths (!!!💕), and brown colors.
Hi, Sweetie.
Thank you for the opportunity to win your lovely yarn. My favorite season is fall. Particularly an overcast fall day. For some reason, all the pretty fall colors look more vibrant against a steel gray sky. Have a lovely day.
Yet again you have hit on a combination of some of my favorite colors. I will again cross my fingers and hope I am the lucky winner. Rarely happens, but one can hope. : ) As always, there will be one lucky fiber artist out there and I wish my best to that winner. Again, fingers crossed, always such good combinations of color and fibers. You are a gem Chandi.
It really is a tie up between seasons for me since I really love Spring and Summer both, but if I had to pick one it would be Spring. Since I live in the mountains of NC and winter means pretty much no greenery or color, it is a true balm to my soul when I see the first purple and yellow crocus blooms peaking out from beneath the snow, the first pink buds on the cherry trees, the return of the bird song and the hues of a beautiful sunrise waking me up in the morning! It reminds me that no matter what darkness I’ve gone through, there is always a rejuvenation of life and that brings a hope to my heart that cannot be quenched!
Spring is my favorite season because everything is turning green and coming back to life!
My favorite season is Fall. As someone who has been a student for many years (in graduate school now) the fall means the start of a new semester and there’s always this feeling of excitement in the air for the fresh start. That with the cooler weather makes it special!
Love those cool toned blues!!! 🥺
Fall is my favorite, followed closely by winter. Fall is my escape from the summer heat and my first chance to pull out warm knits to wear.
My favorites season is fall. After the hot, dry eastern Washington (the state!) summers, fall is a bit of a relief temp wise. I feel fortunate to live in a state that is very diverse climate wise. We have the west side with it’s rainy-er climate where everything is always so lush and green, with very little snowfall. The central part is quite desert-like. Very hot, dry and a lot of sage brush and fewer trees. The east side where I live has the definite 4 seasons. Cool falls, cold, snowy winters, beautiful and damp springs, and hot, dry (with occasional rain showers) summers.
My favorite season is spring – the weather is nice (not too cold, not too hot), nature comes back to life, there are fresh veggies and fruit. My favorite color is green so it seems to me that spring is the green of the seasons. Thank you so much for a gorgeous generous giveaway, as usual!
Hi, unfortunately I can’t choose. My birthday is in January. Which was my favorite but since I’ve been working with hand dyed yarn. It’s hard to choose. Each season has beautiful colors surrounding us. I feel inspired to knit or crochet something. I am cautious with hand dyed yarns because the texture is very new to me. I wish good luck to everyone! Enjoy your day!
My favorite season is spring. I love the beautiful colors outside as the flowers cost art to bloom and the spring rains fill the air with a fresh smell.
I love fall! The crisp mornings followed by warm days. All the beautiful colors and the feeling that nature is preparing to rest. There’s the last minute harvests and putting the garden to bed for winter. It’s time to catch your breath after the busy summer.
Spring. Renewal, beautiful sunny days with rains to wash away away the grime of winter and encourage all the new seeds to grow
Fall time is my favorite. The crisp chilly air, color of the tree foliage and time for cozy fall/winter accessories! I primarily make cold weather gear so always looking out for new autumn crochet projects.
I absolutely love winter. I live in the Middle East so that’s probably why.😂 It’s really beautiful here around wintertime. Although it doesn’t snow here, there’s so many lights put up .
My favorite season is Spring. I love seeing my magnolia tree bloom!
I just found your website and have only ordered twice. The yarns I received are beautiful!
My favorite season is spring thru fall. I live by the the jersey shore. I love the warm sun on my skin from this time and the warm breeze in hair. I just moved into a new house this april and it was perfect time to plant some bright and bold flowers. I now have bright and bold sun patients in coral, fire red, and violet purple flowers. I planted some snow white flowers as accents. I get to look at them everyday as they grow and flower over again and again till the November frost.
I like spring and fall. I do not care for the extreme cold or the extreme hot. I love to garden and plant flowers and veggies. And in the fall I love to harvest the veggies, and can/freeze them. I prefer fall colors the most.
I love autumn. The cooler and drier weather after the summer heat and humidity is wonderful. The changing colors are beautiful. My birthday is in October! ; ) Things slow down for a minute until winter.
Winter is my favourite season, especially on a cold, dry, sunny day. Perfect for a brisk walk, followed by snuggling in a comfortable chair with some knitting — while I watch your luscious, informative videos.
I do so enjoy how you break down knitting steps. Plus, your outtakes are a hoot!
My favourite season is fall. I love the colours of the changing leaves, the scents in the air that come with it, and the cooling weather – sweater season!
Wow! Those are lovely!
Hi Chandi, your colors are always so beautiful and the fibers are exquisite! Living in New England, my favorite season is Autumn. I love all the beautiful colors and the chill in the air. It gives me the opportunity to wear all my hand knits. Don’t want all that effort to go unnoticed ;-}
Oh I just LOVE Fall – the colours, the change of smell in the air, the beauty of change!
My favorite season is autumn, the colors are gorgeous and I love the turn of the seasons when I can bundle up and have hot drinks.
My favorite season is Spring! I love watching everything come alive again after a sleepy winter. I’m always amazed at how the fragile little leaves push through the hard bark of each and every branch to show it’s beauty.
In the country you can see the newly plowed fields come to life as the farmers prepare for yet another season of growth. It’s just a beautiful thing to see all the colors of life grow larger day by day!
Congratulations Ann!
I’m torn between fall and winter. Fall because I love the weather, change of leaves, crisp air and that harvest is happening around us. Winter because, living in Canada and married to a Swiss we really know how to maximize our winter outdoor fun, and also we lamb, kid and sometimes start calving in winter so winter is the time of babies for us so it’s just the happiest busy season of all!
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and our seasons are much milder than most of the rest of the US. I love the Autumn though, for us it starts out as our warmest time of year, then transitions to cooler, crisper weather that starts the wearing of scarves and hats.
I think that my favorite season at any point is whichever one is coming next – I like looking forward the changes!
Spring is my favorite because the flowers start to bloom. I love seeing the regrowth starting for the new season. It’s a beautiful thing.
So very hard to pick a favorite season when where I live by the ocean in Maine boasts four glorious seasons. But if I must select a favorite it would be spring when the days are getting longer and warmer but never hot, don’t like hot. Spring ends with the treasured longest daylight of the year, what the Scandanavians call midsummer. And, as a May baby, I get to celebrate my birthday at such a wonderful time, when the earth is pouring forth a rebirth of its bounty.
My favorite season is spring! I love the neutral weather and it’s a perfect time for flowers to begin blooming. Spring symbolizes growth! 🙂
I can never pick a favorite of anything! I love them all! All the seasons, all the colors, all the foods, flavors, just ALL!!!
My favorite season is Fall because I love seeing all the gorgeous colors as the leaves change. I also prefer the cooler weather and rain.
I’m not sure I have a favorite season, but for a long time I hated winter. However, in recent years I find myself looking forward to the holiday season and rainy evenings on the couch with my husband in front of the “fire,” aka big bunch of lit candles!
Ok, Chandi,
So my favorite season is Spring. After a winter of cold weather, and hibernation, the warmth of the spring sun warms the earth and thaws the ground; a lovely spring starts to POP.
We start to see Pregnant Females, waiting to give birth to new little ones. The flowers start to peek through, the leaves on the trees start to reclaim there mighty foliage. Birth of so many things happen in the spring. Novelty, is great; new things happen. growth occurs. Some places have short seasons and mother nature has expediated the growth of seeds, babies etc.
Winter is my favorite season! I love the cold weather and snow.
My favorite season is SUMMER!!! Because the day lasts longer and the sunlight is softer and everybody is more relaxed than at any other time of the year. Especially August, because there are no holidays, nothing to plan for – just impromptu get togethers in the backyard and last minute beach runs!
My favorite season is the Fall. I love all the beautiful colors and the cooler temperatures and all the great food I get out of my garden before winter hits.
It’s hard to decide, but I do love summer with flowers, family gatherings…and my birthday!
Favorite is Winter. Born in January in Michigan with plenty of snow. Have live in other climates but still remember and miss the snow coming down, hot cocoa and knitting by the fireplace!
I love spring. Everything is green and there is all the Hope and anticipation of everything to come
My favorite season is Spring. The feeling of renewal touches my soul and the warmer weather/longer days to soak up all the budding beauty!
Spring, The winter is over and the flowers are blooming. In the south it’s time to plant vegetables and garden. Still cool enough to be comfortable but warm enough for shit sleeves.
My favorite season is fall followed by spring. I was born in September so I’ve always been a fall lover, and I like the temperatures in fall and spring best. I’m not a fan of extreme hots and colds. I love being able to wear a tshirt during the day and cozying up in a light sweater in the evening. The smell of fall is the best, and the world turning green again in the spring is amazing. Unfortunately, where I live, fall and spring each last for about two weeks…..*sigh*
When I lived in Northern California, by favorite season was Fall, because of all the wind and mild temperatures. Now that I live in Florida, my favorite season has changed to Winter because the humidity in Florida is almost gone and the temperatures are similar to Fall in Northern California. 🙂
Winter is my favorite season. My daughter and I love to ski and I love the snow. I grew up in Louisiana where snow was rare, but I live in Utah now where it is usually plentiful. I love wearing sweaters and using cozy blankets 🙂
I love winter, we don’t get a lot of snow here in New Mexico where I live, but I love looking at places where the snow looks like a winter wonderland.
Hello! I like spring very much, but my favorite season is summer because I like warm weather, the sun, the colorful flowers, the blue sky and the beach waves. Thank you very much for everything you do! All the blessings!
I love fall colors. We have trees all around us and each tree is a different color – just like your yarn.
My favorite season is fall! The beautiful colors, and the cooler weather after the summer heat!
I have always adored Fall but even more so as I have grown in years. Living where I do for too many years, we don’t have autumn I grew up with, love and desperately miss. The crisp drier air, stunning color show the deciduous trees supply and the cooler temperatures with perfect blue skies are balm to my soul. Plus, it’s sweater weather! I try to get far enough north to at least see something that resembles fall every year.
Since you are studying Spanish… 😉
Mi estación favorita es el invierno. Es la época del año perfecta para ponerse todas las cosas que tejemos. Y además está la ¡¡¡Navidad!!!
SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER…I love everything about it…the warm, hot(the hotter the better) the loose cool clothing. The cute sun dresses to wear and most of all the beach. The sand and listening the children playing and the waves crashing on shore, my beach chair. It is so relaxing and soothing. The beach is where I clear my mind and think of nothing
Everything is so green and full of life. My fav are the palm trees. Here in NY are no palm trees 🌴 but when I do see them, I appreciate their beauty.
I love Fall, it is cooler and my birthday falls around then😊
My favorite season is Spring with its promise of a new time of warmth and color.
Winter is my favorite time of year! I get to wear all the lovely squishy knitted goodies I’ve made!!
Without question my favorite season is fall. Bring on the cooler weather! Change in colors, blustery days, crunching on leaves. Fall has it all!
I live in Western North Carolina, in a community with lots and lots of trees. I love all the seasons, but especially winter. No leaves, clear vision of sky and horizon. It is gorgeous here.
Spring is my favorite season because of the rain and flowers.
My favorite season(s) are summer and winter! I love the long days of summer and the holiday feeling of winter! Living in southern California, I’m blessed to have warmer weather in the winter too!
My Favorite season is Spring. So many things returning: more light, warmer temperatures, birdsong, baby animals, more water in the creek on our property. I live in a rural setting and babies of all kinds romp through: turkey, deer, raccoons and tons of birds.
Definitely Winter. Snow, Advent, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day (aka my birthday), and wearing all the yummy woollies!
I love all the seasons for different reasons, but I love autumn and spring the most. I love the budding plants and cooler temps of spring; the falling leaves and their changing color in autumn is definitely a favorite. I just love stomping on dried leaves and getting that crunch sound.
I love all shades of blue… the sky in winter and fall is especially beautiful.
Thank you Chandi, you choose always the most beautiful colors and the quality of the yarn is just marvelous!
I am also a big fan of your blog and tutorials. The kindness and positivity that you give over to us makes my day every time!
Chandi, your yarns are so luscious! They are all so beautiful. My favorite season is fall – sweater weather! Relief from the Texas summer heat and the windows can be opened to let in the fresh air.
My favorite season is fall. Beautiful colors (at least where I grew up, not currently), crisp weather that’s cool enough for sweaters, and birthdays (mine and baby’s)!
My favorite season is summer! I love getting outdoors and feel like I’m in a happier mood when the sun is shining
My favorite season is the next one – I love the changing of the seasons. I love watching all the effects of change in nature. I like changing apparel as the weather patterns change. I love how each season seems to bring it’s own colors. And I enjoy the many holidays and celebrations that follow the seasons.
Fall!!! The start of the new school year, crisp mornings and warm afternoons, that perfect blue sky and leaves starting to turn. Hometown “Friday Night Lights” football games (I live in a New England beach town, and our stadium isn’t at the high school – it’s at the beach!) My birthday is in September so that might have something to do with it too.
I’d have to say Autumn. Love that the heat and humidity go away and I can open the doors and windows.
Autumn 🧡🍂🍁. The cooler weather and the colors are making my heart happy 🥰.
All of the seasons are nice, but I think I like spring the most – i love watching the trees and flowers “wake up” from their winter naps.
Love the winter as it gives me so much more time to knit and crochet!! Also the hot drinks while doing those lovely projects are an added bonus!
I live in Northern California right now so I have to base my favorite season on my location. CA is likely called the golden state because most of the year there is a beautiful golden hue (okay, drought brown) to the landscape. But, our winter when we get moisture, our grass is green, the plants thrive, and so many wild flowers can be seen. It really is quite lovely. Of course there are areas that get snow, which is awesome too! But I’ll bet not too many people think about mowing their grass in the winter! 😉
I love fall. Beautiful colors are all around. As a teacher, it also marks a new, bright beginning to the school year.
Spring – the promise of all things new! Warmer weather, sunny days, plants and baby animals and birds 🙂
Late spring and summer, long sunny days, beautiful trees, blooms,, wildlife.
I love spring. Out of the giveaways, I love April and May. The others are beautiful too.
I love Autumn. I just get into a rhythm at school but still so excited for the newish year. I take my anniversary trip to Asheville and usually get to see the leaves change and spend time with my favorite innkeepers/friends. Cool, crisp mornings and evenings and comfortable afternoons is the perfect weather. And of course there’s Halloween and Thanksgiving!
My favorite season is spring – when the earth is waking up from its winter sleep. I love seeing the pale green of new leaves and the smell after rain.
my favorite season is fall because i love when the coloration of the leaves start to change within the molicule structure of the trees dna
I love, love, love Fall! It’s my birth season! With crisp mornings, crunchy leaves and apple picking, it’s just cool enough to rock that cardi you just bound off. Red, orange, brown, and even purple leaves abound. It like nature does a finally curtain call before bedding down for the winter!
I love Fall! I live in Arizona so Fall come after our extreme season,,,, Fall stirs me to clean house and garden and make soup,,,,
Autumn is my absolute favorite! Cool temps here in New England; beautiful colors on every horizon! Fall days always seem to bring a feeling of anticipation of the holidays ahead. 🙂
I love Fall – the colors, the fresh air, the great temps for knitting and then being able to wear what has been knitted!! Love the colors this month in the giveaway (as always) – understated and elegant they put me in the mood for the cooler temps to come!! Keeping my fingers crossed!! 🙂
My favorite season is ………. ALL of them!!!! They are each exquisite in their own special way and make my
senses sing with delight and joy. Therefore, I am very grateful for and love each of them. Besides, we then have
an “excuse” to buy more yarn to go with each season!!!!!
I guess I’d have to say fall because it’s really the perfect time of year to do all your fun outdoor activities with less heat and no bugs. 😁
I love all the color combos you come up with and I’ve enjoyed the yarn I’ve purchased tremendously!
I love fall! The colors are great and it’s perfect weather for the cutest outfits!
My favorite season is Fall. I Iive in Maryland, but really appreciate the Fall colors in Pennsylvania. I love the beautiful red, orange and yellow colors. The Fall season makes me feel warm all over!
I enjoy Winter;
The yard work is minimal,
and the earth seems calm.
My favorite season is the fall. Growing up in Upstate NY, the colors were and still are beautiful. Though I no longer see the colors, fall now means a break from high temps of summer.
Fall is my favorite time of year. The love the cooler weather and the bright colors of the leaves. Another thing I love is that it’s easier to work on heavier crochet projects when it’s not so hot. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love Summer. I love the warmth, the water, evenings outside, picnics, family get togethers and the feeling of freedom.
I live in So California where we have two seasons – hot and hotter lol. I would love to experience fall back east where the leaves change color. The pictures I see just draw me in. Oh well, one of these days maybe.
My favorite season is fall on account of the cooler weather starting. I enjoy snuggling up in a a sweater while watching the leaves change colors and fall off the trees.
Late spring is my favourite in Australia. We go camping and enjoy the outdoors with nice temperatures during the day and a nice warm fire at night
How do you pick a favorite season? I love spring – the snow is melting and everything is greening up. Summer isn’t long enough but in northern Alberta we enjoy every second of sunlight and warmth there is. Fall is full of beautiful, rich colors and winter is beautiful in its own right – there’s nothing like the sunlight turning the snow into glittering fields. I think my favorite is fall but I love them all!
The colors of Fall are beautiful and the sound of crunching leaves is delightful, but my favorite season is spring with moderating temperatures and the beginning of new growth all around. Plus it is the time we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and what it means for us. Oh, yeah, and we have opportunity to enter for another batch of gorgeous yarn that’s fit to drool over! Thanks heaps.
My favorite season:
Autumn for the scent and color of apples and leaves
Winter for the peace of quiet stillness
Spring for the musical joy of birds
Summer for the scent and color of flowers
I love autumn. The leaves are brilliant screams of color from gold and lemon to vermillion and rust. The air becomes crisp. Not just cool, but crisp which feels and tastes and smells different. Autumn means warm drinks, warm company and cozy things. Blankets, sweaters, hats and mittens… all things that make is feel safe and toasty!
Winter, got to love all those scarves and beanies.
My favorite season is summer because it is beach time with lots of blue skies and deep blue oceans 😊
Love it ❤️
My favourite season is summer. I do a lot of swimming and spend time with my kids outside. I also still knit in the summer, even when it is hot out.
Fall in Northeast Ohio is my favorite season of the year! Crisp weather, crunchy colorful leaves, apple season, pumpkins, cozy things – it is the best!
Spring is my favorite part of the year. After winters that seem to last forever sometimes and everything looks so barron and dead, spring begins to breathe new life into everything. Every day brings forth new life and growth. The landscape everywhere begins to burst into every color imaginable beginning with hundreds of shades of green to be complimented with the blues, purples and yellows of wild pansies and countless other spring flowers. Every year takes my breath away.
Hi Chandi, My favorite season is winter. I get to occasionally wear a cozy sweater, which I love!!
Fall! Cooler weather and my birthday!
My favorite season is fall.
I love spring with all of its flowers.
I used to feel fall wasn’t favorite but this year it has been summer! Sitting out in my yard on my lounger working on my latest project!
I love summer. As a teacher, I get a little time to relax and travel and just unwind!
Hi Chandi!
I’m a crack prrson lol. I love that time of year between the ending of winter and the beginning of spring. Crocus poke their little buds up through the lingering snow to herald the arrival of the robins in their snazzy red vests and the sound of melting snow lets you know cold weather is about to be a memory. I eagerly watch for the buds on the trees to reassure me they truly are not dead just sleeping, waiting for the warm weather just like I am.
Honestly , I’ve never been able to definitely say which of my two favorites seasons is my “true favorite” one! Really, I go through this every year!
So for the sake of arguing my favorite things about each, I am declaring now and forever that it’s a toss up, a tie between the two!! Whoo, that’s a relief!🤦♀️ So Chandi, my favorite season is a true tie between both Beautiful Spring🦋 and Beautiful Fall🍁 To me each individual season brings it’s own set of WONDERMENTS. In spring the entire area is coming alive again from having a deep sleep for weeks. They bring unmeasureable beauty to our yards, hills and valleys, just every where! Even the people out walking around appear to be stepping higher than usual with signs of happiness all over their faces!! In the same respect, as fall approaches the farmer’s or gardners hurry to get their last bit of produce out of the fields or lots, putting it away for use later on in the year, or in the farmer’s case he might be looking at that last load to bring the family’s season of growing and harvesting to a close hoping it will make enough money for this year’s farm payment or maybe even a special holiday trip. During the fall the air we breathe outside seems cleaner, crisper. Maybe it’s just that sense of accomplishment. Another growing and producing season well done! That feeling of SATISFACTION is a powerful one, especially after weeks of long days and hard work. Again, you can find yourself looking around at the beauty and gorgeous sunsets that are all a small part of this place we have been “given” to call ‘home.” There is no way I could ever pick one of these 2 seasons over the other as my favorite. But look, it only took me 61 years to admit it ❤🤗
💕💕
I live in a tropical country and I actually don’t get to experience the 4 seasons. But I am grateful for this eternal summer we have because I am a huge sun lover!
Hello,
I love spring for the live that”s coming out and delicates smellings flowers, I love winter for the holydays and beauty of the snow, I love fall for the richness of elegant colours, including november evenings” sadness and I love summer too, for swimming and beautiful flowers and breathy dresses.
Thank you!
I am glad I get to experience all 4 seasons where I live. Each season has it’s own beauty. The quiet of newly fallen snow in the winter to the noise of kids playing and the geese taking their kids to the pond in the summer. For me, it’s a toss up between spring and fall. In fall I love the color changes and the crunch of the fallen leaves and how a whirlwind will come up and toss them about. In the spring it’s the newness, leaves and blossoms to smell; the birds back from the winter and all their activity as they find a mate and build a nest. I love hearing their songs and smelling the blooms on the wind and trying to guess the source of it’s wonderful scent!
Beautiful! My favorite season is spring. I love seeing all the flowers blooming while the earth is warming up from a long winter.
I love the spring season. Not too hot, not too cold.
All the lovely flower starting to bloom in vibrant colors.
I love having all four seasons; but Summer is my least favorite.
I love Summer! Just being outside in the earth of the day is like getting a hug from the sun. To feel the sunlight kiss your shoulders and face as you are gardening. The joy of comming together with family for fireworks and bbq’s! This entire season you just want to be outside not inside just to experience the flowers the lightning bugs as they begin to light up the night as the sun sets. And as it comes to a close in Fall it leaves a final goodbye as the days get shorter and cooler and the trees leaves get a warmth of red, yellow, orange and brown as a reminder that Summers beauty will return again.
Autumn!! I went to college in the mountains and the colors of the trees were breath taking. I would take my knitting ( a new hobby at the time) and sit on the hill outside my dorm.
I always thought it looked like a quilt spread over the hills and I wanted to make one for myself…..still working on it. 🙂
I love the Fall the best…crisp clean fresh air…cold mornings and warm sunny afternoons. It’s finally time to snuggle down into my cozy sweaters and drink hot apple cider in front of a fire. Shopping for supplies and new cloths for school. The holidays are coming, which means more time with family and we can put up all the sparkly lights we want without people looking at us weird. There just always seems to be joy and excitement in the air. My fondest memories are of the fall…I look forward to it so much each year.
fall!!!! because sweaters. 😀
Autumn! Because of the daily changes in both color and temperature. Each season has such beauty, but Autumn is my absolute favorite.
Toss up between Spring and fall for my favorite season. Fall I love the changing colors of the foliage, and spring the blossoming of everything
I enjoy spring. The cool mornings and days. All the beautiful colors all the beautiful colors of the plants that are starting to grow aunts that are starting to grow and the fresh air fresh air. It’s a wonderful time to be outside and do work that includes crocheting.
Hmmm. Each season has its appeal as well as drawbacks. I guess, Spring. In northern Wisconsin, we enjoy winter, but are so done with it come about March, but Spring is a long way off. (Mud season comes long before Spring.) So we often go hunting for Spring by taking our travel trailer and heading south. Then we get to enjoy Spring in the warmer weather and a very different environment When we come home we get to enjoy it all over again with all the new growth.
The years have brought so many changes, huh? I was a hardcore summer lover for many years but now I find myself loving the fall! I love the colors, the crisp of the air, the winding down of the crazy busy time…and now I don’t feel so guilty when I just want to sit and knit!!
Where I live we have 4 seasons and every season has its own charm but if I have to chose it will be the end of summer and beginning of autumn. The light in the afternoons and eveings is verry special and so beautiful when it falls on the grass and the trees. I love sitting on my balcony with a cup of tea and just watch the light and listen to the wind in the tree tops.
There are things I love about each season – fall weather and colors, snow and sweater weather in winter, flowers and new life in spring, and my vegetable garden, fig trees, and Mammoth Sunflowers in summer.
Wow Chandi, so many comments. I have to say Autumn is my fav season for any needlework because of the fall colours of course. Especially Expression Fiber Arts colours. Always so vibrant regardless of the theme/season.
Definitely autumn! Not too hot, not too cold. It’s similar to spring in that regard, but spring means that summer is coming, which isn’t that great of a reminder. Autumn means beautiful orange leaves on the trees, holidays approaching, and relaxing nights tucked away inside while you wait for winter. It’s a joyous season.
I love the fall and winter! I hate sweating and I love crocheting sweaters and blankets to snuggle in
I moved to Florida during the Pandemic to be near family, and it may seem strange in this climate, but I’ve reconnected with my love of yarn. Florida has brought me back to crocheting. There is just one season here and it’s summer – I love the ever changing blues and aqua of the sea, the the pinks and reds of the sunset, the tropical greens, and the creams and golden caramel color of the sand. I have a screened porch and as long as the evening light lasts I can crochet outside.
I live near Ottawa, Canada, where every season is dramatically different from the previous one. I love them all. Making me pick one above the other is so hard! I love the heat, sun, and thunderstorms in the summer. I love the colours of autumn when the maple tree in our yard blazons yellow, orange, and red for weeks on end. I love the crisp air as I breathe it in when the sun shines on a new blanket of snow, shimmering and sparkling winter nights under a full moon. But, I think I would pick spring above them all because of the promise of new life and new colour in my garden and the promise of the summer to come. I love living in a place where the seasons change.
My favorite seasons are the ones where I can wear my hand knits. I’m not a fan of humidity.
Hi Chandi, I love winter so much! I live in Phoenix Az & the winters here are so beautiful. I love the season of giving & making beautiful projects to gift friends & family. I learned to crochet 8 years ago from YouTube while I was fighting Cancer & was bed bound. Now I can’t stop!! I love your yarn @ all the things you make! I feel peaceful when I hear your voice & crochet along with you. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the world & bringing peace into my life.
I think, if I HAD to choose, I like winter best. I love playing out in the snow, snuggling up in front of the fire, and bundling up in my fav knits.
My favorite season is fall. I love Halloween but I just love the colors of fall. They’re so vibrant and comforting.
I absolutely love fall! The beautiful colors of the leaves with the fresh crisp air, and soft squishy sweaters! Thank you for the giveaway!
I fall in love with fall every year! The way the colours of the leaves make the blue sky pop is gorgeous! The chill in the air, the crunch of the leaves underfoot and the smell of wood smoke in the air. Yep! You can’t beat autumn’s glory. Thank you for the chance!
I think I love spring the most. I love flowers and the fresh morning. And the lovely mellow temperatures and sun we can get here in the Netherlands. Close to spring is autumn and summer nights 😉
I am torn because I like all of the seasons for their various attributes and colors. I guess if I had to choose just one it would be fall because reds, yellows, and oranges make my heart sing and in the fall I get to get my sweaters and shawls back out of storage and it’s like getting back a whole new favorite wardrobe that I forgot about during the spring and summer.
I love the way the air smells and feels in fall, especially visiting my hometown in the North Georgia mountains. Ahhh it’s just magical!
I love spring and summer nice and warm and everything is beautiful
I love spring…all the beautiful shades of green. I love the color green…reminds me of all things fresh and new…for the beautiful things to come.
Fall is my favorite season….because SWEATERS! And scarves and lap blankets come out. My mom was Japanese, and the fall leaves in Japan (especially the red of the maples) we’re so vibrant!
My favorite season is winter – I love curling up under a blanket with a book and hot tea!
Although it would come as a surprise to anyone who knows me, I love the winter to come every year. I spent 38 years living in Buffalo, NY & had to learn how to live in that snowy environment. My first year there, we had the Blizzard of ‘77, & I quickly learned about the power of Mother Nature! It was all “uphill” from there. But my favorite memory was learning from the weather forecast that a big snowstorm was blowing in. It usually resulted in huge traffic jams & “gridlock”, which gave the word a new meaning for me.
Anyway, once I knew my kids & my husband were all home, locked in & safe, we would wait for the storm to begin. We were all snug, sitting together on the couch, in front of the picture window, watching for the first snowflakes to fall. I would start a new knitting project because it was going to be prime “knitting time” for me. We weren’t upset or scared, we just enjoyed the special time together, not knowing whether we were going to be “snowbound” for days or not.
The nicest memory that came from that is when I’d show the kids the final product weeks later, they would say, “That’s the knitting you started during the snowstorm!” It was as special to them as it was to me.
Now I live in California, so I no longer see snow. It still warms my heart to think of those “snow days” in Buffalo & we were cozy on the couch waiting for the storm to come, while I happily knitted away. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Hola! My favorite season is the Fall! The smells in the air are amazing and the colors are just nice and warm. Plus its the time for my Bday!!
I love spring because of the warm weather and all the flowers 🌸
My favorite season is fall because that is when I can start wearing the things I make and when I feel most inspired to create more.
Hi, Chandi!😊
What lovely yarn. You’re so thoughtful giving to your YouTubers. I have the worst luck at winning anything, but I have fun and pray for the best. This is my first time entering as well.
My favorite season is winter. The first time I saw snow I was really young and living in Kentucky. I thought how beautiful. What is this fluffy white stuff falling from the heavens. I was intrigued since I had never seen snow. Winter is also the first time I learned how to knit.
Thank you! For your kindness 🌷🙏
Summer or Winter. It used to be Fall for the beautiful colours and Spring for the new life of flowers, birds, everything beginning again but both of those seasons are now too hard on me physically for the weather fluctuations. I’ve learned to love Summer with everything in Bloom and the season well under way. And Winter for the Snow and Christmas
Favourite season…hmm, well, for years it was fall, because it was back to school, and I loved the turning colours of the leaves, and the sound of crisp leaves skittering down the sidewalks. Then my favourite season was summer, because of the beautiful long days and sunsets streaked with pinks and golds, and how the sun illuminated the sky right at the end of the day. Then as I got older, my favourite season was spring, because of the shimmer of verdant green from trees budding out. Now this past winter was brutally cold, but I loved it, because, having to stay home, we walked every day, and were amused by our neighbours’ decorations–after a huge snowfall, a group of neighbours cleared the street of their cul-de-sac, and piled the snow in a pile and someone planted a large plastic palm tree right in the middle of the snow pile…it was almost -40 (C or F, it’s the same), and there was this palm tree peeking out from a snow mountain. I laughed and laughed. A young neighbour also built a snow cave, populated with snow penguins made from a snow mold. It was a great winter.
Being an NC girl, I grew up with our 4 stunning and very distinct seasons. I moved away for a while and it broke my heart missing my 4 seasons. That said, I live for Spring and Summer!!! The sun and blue sky and the greening up of everything…..plants emerging, blooming, tomatoes on the vine………..makes my heart so happy!!! Plus, I love my NC humidity!!! 🙂
Fall, for the slightly cooler temps (requiring knitted items!) and less rain than spring, but still more pleasant to be outside than winter. Definitely the best. 🙂
Spring and winter(since it’s mild here). Love the climate at these two seasons, especially spring when the jacaranda trees are in full bloom😍 But I really love summer because it’s when I get the yummiest fruit-MANGOES😍😋
On a winter’s day, making something beautiful and dreaming of spring, when spring arrives and summer creeps in I dream of autumn, then I find my self again in winter. Each season has a special place in my heart, here in Australia the seasons run different from when I grew up in Florida. July full of heat, here were full of chill. Still learning how each season goes here. But definitely love spring 🌼 summer 🌺 next best is autumn 🍂, so I’ll sit here and crochet another Marino shawl. Still learning how to read patterns. But getting better each stitch. God bless and May you have a wonderful day

It is a really close call between fall and winter. I love the cold weather for cooler hiking, bonfires, camping just being outside.
I live in the tropics, full of color and new life. But I’d say the Fall/Autumn is the season I love because of all the changing colors of the leaves so tranquil and beautiful. I also have far more earth tones in my stash than any other. So yes…I have the Mysa collection in my wishlist😁
