Hello, gorgeous.
Spring is in the air! We have a beautiful shawl with trellis lace and a floral feel. It’s ideal for advanced beginners! Time to try your hand at lace knitting!
Kai knit lace shawl by Kristina Smiley.
A light, lovely shawl made from Alpaca Silk Lace weight yarn. Flowy, dreamy, soft, like a warm breeze off the ocean, caressing your soul and reminding you all is well. All is well.
Have a watch! We have filmed a video tutorial for you, demonstrating the lace stitches used:
We used our lovely Alpaca Silk Lace yarn in four colors, Purity (A), Quiet Moment (B), Pink Pearl (C), Abandoned (D)
This lovely, light shawl has directions that tell you how to adjust the size, if you wish. Make it in 4 colors like shown or as many or as few as you prefer!
If you’re on IG, be sure to post if you make this so we can see! #efakaishawl #expressionfiberarts

I’m working on the KAI pattern. Row 78 I get the 165 st, but after trying row 79 I dont get the 169 st. I have redone rows 73 through 78 many times and stull dont get the row 79 sets.
I was wondering if there was a mis print on the pattern. I have tried to compensate to make up the extra stress. But does not work. Thanks for reading. Hope I haven’t lost my mind. I have been knitting for 55 years and I am stumped
Debra, happy to assist! We’ll be sending you an email shortly!
How do I obtain a written version of this lovely pattern.
I’m an adventurous beginner, desiring to knit a triangular shawl. This might be doable for me.😉🤞
Hi Linda, glad you like the Kai shawl. You can get the pattern from our website here.
Have a wonderful weekend! <3
