I love being abe to create something beautiful, whether from a pattern or my own design. It’s only been recently I’ve had the confidence to design some knitted patterns. Now I’m wondering what took me so long! .
I love to play with colours and the yarn has to be oh so soft 🙂
Knitting and crochet are my therapy!

My birthday is in February so I love having birthday $ to invest in new yarns and crochet hooks! Perfect sweater weather too.
I taught myself how to knit 3 years ago after my newborn son had passed away. What I love about it is that it allows me a space to escape my mind for a bit and just focus on making something beautiful.
I’m so sorry you had to endure such pain in the loss of your newborn son, Stephanie. It’s good to know that knitting has provided you some peace. I haven’t experienced such a tragic loss, but I do find knitting to be comforting when I am feeling low. As you said, it turns your focus onto making something beautiful and allows you to escape for a while.
I have so much fun with my all of your AMAZINGLY soft yarns!
I love crocheting because it truly relaxes me and allows me to feel peaceful which puts a big smile on my face.
I knit and crochet and do a few other things with yarn. I enjoy weaving a project into a fabric that can be used for almost anything. I think my favorite part is being able to find the materials and then make something no one else has made.
I love to knit. I picked it back up a few years ago when crochet triggered my arthritis to act up in my wrists and fingers. Knitting relaxes me and I’ve made many beautiful things for my family and friends.
I love to make beautiful things with my own hands and then give them away to people I love. It gives me a lot of joy to see my gifts worn/used by family and friends.
The colors, the textures, the look on someone’s face when I give them something for no particular reason. “Pick something you like out of the bin.”
Hi Chandi! Looks like another beautiful yarn giveaway!!!! Thank you for all you do! ❤️❤️❤️
Love this site
I love that it can ease my anxiety and calm my mind.
Wowzerz! Absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations to last month’s winner. Thank you for the opportunity. I love being Blessed to do what I enjoy. Creating items to bring joy to another. Good luck everyone
I love texture & colors……………………I love feeling yarn………………………..so much to enjoy when crafting and and it helps give me a calmness & peace. Love your yarns.
Such lovely yarn.. 😊
Thank you for the chance, Chandi.
I love how yarn and crochet lets me escape from the daily expectations of being a mother and a wife. My time with yarn is something I look towards as self care.
Beautiful! 😍 Love the grays and pinks! Love the fact that I can take a piece of string and make something beautiful out of it. I love creating, even though I don’t make up my own patterns, I’m grateful for the gifting in others that allows me to create things. That’s what I love about crochet. At some point, I would love to learn how to knit as well. Thank you Chandi for this giveaway. 😊💕
I love that when I Knit/Crochet that’s my me time. Such pretties happen!
My husband says I’m a crochet addict!
I think what I love the most about crochet is when I gift a handmade item to someone and they light up and are overjoyed to receive something so special!
I crochet and knit. In the last year I have been crocheting a lot. Knitting is more new to me. I love both fiber arts and recently learned weaving too. About crochet and knit, I love how calming it is to give a new form to yarn with needles and hooks. My job can be really stressful and making some granny squares or knitting rows on a cowl are the best for making everything better😁.
I love the satisfaction of making beautiful things, the feel of the fiber, the relaxation of crocheting and knitting. 🧶☺️💓
Hi, the link sent me to the January giveaway. Have I entered this one? I love pink! ❤️ 🤞💕
I love knitting for several reasons. One of them is that we can make an infinite number of beautiful things, using two sticks and string.
I love knitting as it makes me realize how much yarn is important to me. I love the feel, the colors and what I make from it. it makes me feel accomplished.
I love the soothing repetition of knitting. It is also creative and productive. I can watch TV and make a sweater at the same time. Yay.
I learned to knit the first time in grade school,
We had a club. I learned how to crochet from my
grandma. I was hooked. I love the creativeness
of it, and find it so relaxing. I can let my mind wander ( if the pattern isn’t too complicated)
I love the joy it brings to those that I gift things to.
I love that crafting relaxes me and I have a physical reward for the labor at the end of it
Thank you for this opportunity!
Your yarns are beautiful. You and your husband do a wonderful job!
Ah! All those pinks! My girls would love these!
What I love about knitting is it’s something for me to do for enjoyment that also results in something useful and (usually) cozy. I also love the satisfaction of a finished project well done.
I love what you are able to do with yarn, so many things that you can make! Now that I am learning to spin I am even more in love because it is such a beautiful process to watch the yarn go from fiber to single then to plyed yarn.
BeaUUUtiful. I love the feeling of having made something when I craft. It’s so satisfying to watch a project grow and then wear it, knowing you made it exactly how you wanted (or close enough, anyway). In a fast fashion world, slow fashion is a bit of a revolution for me.
Oh. My. Gosh…. soooo YUMMY! Great colors to brighten up these grey grey days, right!!! Ahhhhh… I see a cowl, a shawl, wristers! Yup. Yessiree-bob!
Knitting and crocheting calms me and is kinda like meditating for me. Especially when things go right, wink, wink.
Oh wow.. I think I’m in love 💕 Those colors are beautiful. I started with crochet about 6 years ago just a few months before my mom passed on. When she was no longer here, it has become my way to relax and loose myself in the wonderful world of yarn and all the fun things you can make. I love to make shawls (that’s my guilty pleasure) and design patterns for poncho’s.
lots of love from The Netherlands, Erica

I love the sense of accomplishment when you finish a project you’ve been working on for a long time and while it may not be 100 percent perfect it’s just right cause you made it. The best part is when you have the chance to show it off and your friends and family are super impressed.
Love your yarn ! Gorge
Your tank is the most amazing yarn! I’ve been buying it for 3 years and an just note using some and i am blown away at the quality, softness and colors.
Thank you
Knitting/crochet help with my anxiety. Sitting and working with yard helps menrecenter myself at the end of the day.
I find knitting very relaxing
Those colors are lovely…my kind of colors! I would so love to lose myself in them!
Presently obsessed with sweaters for grandkids.
I love making baby things and looking at patterns 🙂
Love your videos you share. Beautiful yarns. Love!
These are gorgeous!
I love to create pretty things and with knitting (and my other hobby sewing) I can make things the fit me better too. I love the sense of accomplishment.
Your yarns are so beautiful. I am looking foreward to purchasing (or winning some-fingers crossed) in the near furture. You are so positive and i love everything you post.
My love of Knitting and crocheting is present with me every day. It calms and excites me at the same time and gives me a creative Avenue to Express myself through artistry. It’s a lifelong love affair!!!
I love how Knitting and crochet is a kind of stress relief for me, I’m better at crochet but knitting seems to be more rewarding when I’m finally done with the project, I love making hats and blankets.😁
What a Blessing to have my first Grandchild, a girl named Sidney(yes, spelled like a boy!) who arrived on 2/4. Been busy since Aug. knitting like a mad woman to wrap her in warmth. Would love some beautiful yarns to create some heirlooms for her to pass down. I pray to one day to teach her little hands to knit.
I just recently got back into knitting after years of doing other crafts and I am LOVING it. There are so many more beautiful patterns and fibres now. Thank you for all your beautiful artistry and craftsmanship.
February means that spring is near
Good morning Chandi! What a gorgeous selection of yarn🙀😻
Besides being relaxing and making beautiful things, the best thing I love about knitting & crocheting is that when you pull out your WIP, no matter where you are in the world, someone will talk to you (and likely invite you to their next meetup!).
I love knitting because its relaxing and msking something with my hands is exciting .
February…my oldest child’s birthday…hearts…chocolate…❤️❤️❤️
I crochet because it’s relaxing, and I love creating beautiful and useful things!
Love the yarns and pattern , wish I had the time to make them all . Thanks so much for generosity
I love watching the magic of two sticks and string turning into a thing of beauty! Also, I love having a drawer full of hand knitted socks. ❤️
I absolutely love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project! But I also have a yarn addiction and tend to buy beautiful yarn and horde it until I find the perfect pattern to use it. I learned crochet first and find it super versatile. But I adore the look and stretch you get with knit. But mostly I love that I can make things for my loves. I’m can’t wait to learn how to make sweaters and things for my toddler! I could go on but I’ll leave it at that!
My husband is an artist. I am a banker. I know…. knitting is the one thing I can do that is creative. Plus I get to make TONS of baby gifts!
Portability. Love that I can take it anywhere!
I love how beautiful yarn looks on my white shelves all along one wall of my bedroom. The beautiful colors make me smile as soon as I open my eyes. ♥️💖💖
These yarns are beautiful! I enjoy being able to make things with my hands, and I often feel peaceful during the process.
I’m an ardent knitter and find that making stitches (especially tiny ones) helps me sort out the many ideas and thoughts that run rampant in my head. I can count on one hand the number of days I did NOT knit in the last 4 or 5 years. Plus all those colors forming and reforming to beautiful cloth. What’s not to love?
What I love about knitting, crocheting and crafting is that it super fun and no matter how bad my day was or what mood and can bring out a project and just relax and enjoy and become centered again.
I love the way my projects come to life in my hands… it may take a while, but is always worth it 💕💕💕
I love crafting with yarn because it is relaxing + you end up making something beautiful!
I love that you can have do-overs. So if something’s not quite right I can just try again.
I love All wool yarns whether from sheep or goats. Like mixed
I love how meditative knitting is and it keeps my hands busy and away from social media!
Seeing all your beautiful dyed yarns reminds me of being a little girl, my grandma worked in a mill and would bring me the skeins they used to try the dyes out on.perfect for me to crochet and knit dolls clothes with.
The multiple colours of your yarns are amazing.
Wow – these colors are amazing!!
I love knitting something special for a dear friend knowing they are not expecting a gift. Love to see the excitement on their face when they unwrap it. I love to knit and wish I could be a lot better.
Why do I love fibre arts? As an artist, I have a deeply rooted love of color. Creating something that has the ability to impact another persons emotions, be it a calming feeling or even just a feeling of movement, by just looking at a flat canvas mounted on a wall, is rewarding.
Knitting and crocheting is art too. Fibre arts, while it can provoke emotion like a painting can, it gives us something glorious that a painting just can’t…the ability to touch. Texture can be implied with paint, but fibre art .. let’s you experience tangible texture from the ultra smooth and sleek to fluffy and squishy. Whether for style or for comfort, fiber art can feed the artful soul like no other art form can.
Knitting and crocheting are my sabbath. I can think of the person I’m making something for and pray and think good things about them.
I love creating something out of nothing and seeing it change before my eyes in fantastic ways.
I love learning new crochet stitches and trying out new patterns. Right now I’m also learning to knit. Though challenging, I’m really enjoying it!
I love all the possibilities – so many lovely yarns and patterns. I can spend hours looking for the right pattern and enjoy looking. And the knitting itself is generally very calming.
I love yarn and knitting because I love colorful clothes that are hard to find! I can make clothes of my own aesthetic 🙂
What I love about knitting and crocheting is the joy it brings me to make things and give them away.
I love that my dream of learning to knit has come true. I first learned to spin fibers on a spindle but never knew how to knit the yarn. Thankful to have have a complete circuit of knowledge that I can now share with my family and friends.
I Lovelovelove creating things on my own. knitting up clothes that me and my family could wear further on is pure joy to me
I love learning new skills! Today, for instance, I learnt how to cable crochet! Super pleased with myself 😊
I love the feeling of accomplishment after I finish making something, especially when it’s something difficult that I didn’t think I could conquer – it makes me more confident in my own abilities!
I love the texture of yarn in knitting, not only how it looks but also how it feels. I also just love yarn in general, haha!
Love how knitting with all the beautiful colors gives me peace in this crazy world!❤️
first reaction: Ooooooh! Second reaction : WOOOAH! Third reaction : Ooooooh!…. need I go on?
Knitting is therapeutic and meditative for me – I have a high-stress job, and I love that something that helps me relax so much also allows me a creative outlet, plus lots of lovely knitwear for me and my family to beat the Canadian winter!
What I love about knitting is, I love just being able to create something with my hands. I love being able to make things for my friends and family.
I love crochet for the beauty and creativity I encounter. I love the colors the textures and the people I meet along the way. The rhythm of it is soothing to me and the joy it produces is life sustaining
I’ve crocheted for 40 years (has it really been that long?) I taught myself how to knit about three years ago. Well, I’m still learning, but I love it. I love to make things for myself but I really love making things for others, especially my grandkids.
What I ❤ about knitting and crocheting, besides all the wonderful yarn, is being able to create something that someone wants. Be it a blanket, a sweater or a stuffed animal. I can decide on colors and textures and design. No limits.
I love to go into LYS or look online at yarn. It’s all about color for me. LYS is better for embracing the squishiness/softness. I take pictures of yarn I love and make them into art that I frame.
I love knitting. It brings me peace & it’s so calming. Plus, it’s creative! I love your yarn—knitting with it & “collecting” it! 😁❤️
I love exploring new designs, new stitches and see how they chanted with different yarns.
I love the creation process. You pick the yarn colors then the pattern or other way around and it becomes
Hello from the UK! This yarn is just stunning!
I usually knit but recently I’ve been trying to learn how to crochet (I’m finding it quite challenging but rewarding😍). I like knitting as it relaxes and calms me. I mostly love it as I adore making things for my family and friends❤️!
Gorgeous yarn! The colors are stunning as usual!
Hello Chandi,
I love your yarn and I hope some day to win your monthly giveaways. Thanks for the chance to win. I have got 2 things of yarn from you. One I knitting into socks for my daughter-in-law that she loves. The other I have not decided what its going to be yet. But I love the way it feels in my hands.
Love the excitement of achieving when you test a new pattern and you see the result. We’re a hole gang at work knitting so we compare the color selection, the different patterns and yarntypes. Would love to show up at work wearing a garment knitted with this gorgeous yarn 😍
I love the way taking a ball of string (yarn) and turning it into something useful. Even if the use is just eye candy.
I love that something so soothing results in something beautiful and useful. And, you know: the YARN.
I have so much fun with my all of your AMAZINGLY soft yarns! Thanks for another amazing giveaway!
What I love about knitting is that it’s relaxing, it’s a way to keep my hands occupied and I love seeing something beautiful come from 2 sticks and some “string”.
I love picking colors for projects, and just yarn in general! 😂❤️
Well I am sure like a lot of people I love how therapeutic it is. I also just love making things for my loved ones.
I love the peacefulness that comes to me when I knit. It’s so nice being able to slow down and be in the moment for a little while with my yarn. And I LOVE the feeling of new balls of yarn. I could spend all day feeling the softness and smoothness of them all!
I love the feel of the yarn, and the way some colors just glow.
I’m disabled, and mostly love in bed, so knitting is something I can do there, everything from using my Swift, to winding balls.
It’s very relaxing (once I get going). Even watching how to knowing videos is soothing!
Me encanta tejer a crochet, pero ahora estoy incursionando en el tricot y lo estoy disfrutando mucho!
I love crocheting a big warm blanket in the winter months as you get cozier and cozier as it grows. As I am a new knitter thanks to your videos (Thanks for that!) I love knitting hats as well.
i love to knit & watch an object of beauty come together, whether the project is large or small
What I love about knitting, crocheting is the joy of learning to make personal items to share with others. As well as spending time with other crafters just talking about projects, or doing yarn crawls, and sharing new knitting or crochet techniques.
I love the whole process of creating something. But if I’m honest, the designing part is the best. Choosing or coming up with a pattern and choosing the yarn for it, or the other way around, falling in love with a yarn and imagining all the ways you can make it be the star. That is what I love ❤️
Knitting feeds my soul. I am then able to take a nourished me, and a full heart out into the world and be in service to who are in need. I am in health care, and people and being in service to them is my jam…
I love the colors, the feel, the smell, the opportunity to create and how peaceful I feel as I work along.
I love that knitting makes me feel productive!
Hi Chandi,
I’m presently obsessed with your youtube tutorials.
Regards from Germany
Birgitt
What I love most about crocheting, knitting, yarn, and fiber is the great possibility when looking at raw materials. Thinking about what could be, all the things that could be, with the materials on hand.
I love, love, love the way you put your colorways together! You have the most delightful yarn and inspirational emails. Thank you for being you, and for all of the opportunities you grant others. You are a true gem and treasure. <3
Knitting truly helps me relax and enjoy ALL the colors of life, yet be productive making gifts from heart and hand.
I love how knitting calms my mind during these turbulent political times
Beautiful yarn that either crochet or knit up in those colors would be just delicious. I love all the colors that you have display I would be in Shawl heaven!!!
My husband and I make Christmas for our 6 grandkids. Him wood, me yarn. Even my girls crochet and knit. They like to borrow my yarn. I never get it back but that’s okay with me as long as there is something being made. I taught them when they were 5 and 6 and now that they have kids of their own, they are teaching them. Need to keep it alive.
Learned to knit and crochet as a little girl, stopped for almost a decade then picked it back up in my late 30s! It’s like riding a bike, once you learn it you can’t forget 🙂 love your yarns and colors
Beginner crochet and wanting to learn how to knit. I find it to be very relaxing and meditative – able to focus my thoughts even when I’m finding a stitch pattern maddening as a beginner!
I have been an avid crocheter for decades. I love crocheting because it is therapeutic and I love making things for other people. I have a lot of friends who appreciate hand made items.
I enjoy seeing how simple stitches and techniques work together to make beautiful things using beautiful yarn.
Happy Fiberuary! I enjoy crocheting because it is fun and relaxing. I get to play with beautiful, squishy, colorful yarn. I also find the rhythm of crochet to be very soothing and meditative. Happy crafting everyone!
I have been knitting about 8 years. It gives me a sense of peace and calm in the midst of crazy. It gives me something quiet and meditative, along with my tea, to focus on at the end of the day. And creating beautiful things at the end of it all is just a bonus. ❤️
I really wish I could knit much faster so I could buy more yarn!! Chandi I absolutely love your designs thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I find the sensory experience of holding yarn in my hands soothing. I really love the sense of accomplishment as I watch something grow out of nothing
I love having something to do with my hands, I love making something beautiful and I love how the soft yarn feels in my hand.
Knitting has given me so much purpose when I was feeling lost. I can’t go a day without it! It feels so right to be making things 🙂
I love the peace it gives me, seeing yarn take shape into something lovely that I can use or give away. I love the texture and the softness of yarn. I just wish I had more time with my yarn!
I love knitting, and crochet because I see each project as a story. Every stitch is a word on a page and every row is a page turned. It could be a love story or a hate story. It could be a long story or a short story. It could be a story about traveling to different places and meeting new people and trying new things. The possibilities with fiber arts is endless!
I love to crochet and it makes me feel happy when someone compliments something I have made. I use my crochet time to unwind after a long day.
I love to crochet and love your patterns, they can be a challenge, and to start with may not be actually relaxing, but definitely take me to a different place, away from any stress and then when I learn the patterns it seems so easy and relaxing. I love working with soft yarn that drapes.
I have been knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross stitch, tatting, etc since I was 7– 50 years!! I enjoy having an idea in my mind and taking parts of different patterns and putting the together to make something unique!
I am a caregiver, and knitting is the thing that keeps me calm
Such beautiful yarn and beautiful colorways. I’m ‘seeing’ some great mosaic work – decisions, decisions, decisions……first try at a sweater or a lovely shawl to wrap me up in ?? and more for gifts to my best friend and cousin. Wishing everyone good luck and for this give-away and all things wonderful for those at Expressions!!
I love the feel of the yarn and working with beautifully colored yarns to make items for family and friends. Knitting keeps my fingers flexible with my arthritis.
Knitting & crochet are my relaxation. The process soothes my soul.
I love so many things about knitting and crocheting! I love the creativity and wonder it’s opened up to me. I love the restful and calmness. I love the fellowship and friendships it has brought! And the beauty created.
I love taking a skein of yarn and feeling it as well as checking out the color or color’s of it and thinking about what it wants to become, then looking for the right pattern to fulfill this. Then the excitement of creating every stitch and learning new stitches and or different ways to make the stitches. I am a yarn addict and knitting, crocheting and whatever else I can find to turn just a beautiful skein of yarn into a useful item is such a delight.
Thank you, Chandi! I love that at the end of a hard day, I can sit down with yarn and hook or yarn and needles, a cup of tea, and an audiobook and leave the hard day behind. And as I destress, something new is produced. I’m returning to knitting after many years focusing on crochet, and I love learning new stitches and watching your videos to help me learn. Thank you for your emails each week that are like a ray of sunshine in my inbox.
Crocheting while I listen to an audiobook is the best!
Beautiful yarn! I love knitting. I have crocheted a bit but always feel more comfortable and secure with knitting.
I love these colors – crocheting is relaxing. The only downfall to it, is it got me addicted to yarn!!! 🙂
I find it very rhythmic, meditative, and peaceful. I love to crochet and am smitten by the “just one more row” syndrome!
Knitting and crocheting help me to feel grounded and peaceful.
Knitting is not only a passion for me, it is also therapy. Who knows how many lives it may have saved;). I learned to crochet as a teenager, but the patterns I wanted to make were always for knitting. I went into a local yarn shop, bought some yarn to make a scarf like a sample, the owner showed me how to do the stitches for that pattern, and I was back the following day for more yarn. My husband says I am a yarn snob, but I am okay with that since most things I make are gifted to others.
I love the excitement of planning the next project while creating the project in my hands. Knitting especially allows my mind to clear, wander, relax … to realize I can do something that only I do in my household of men (3 boys and my husband).
I love that knitting keeps my phone out of my hands and forces me to be present! I’m a multi-tasked by nature and don’t have much time to sit still. So if I am I’m checking on my Instagram and Facebook accounts or tweaking my Etsy shop. My boys would much rather I was knitting than working on my side hustle when we’re all able to gather on the couch 🥰
I love the beautiful colors that create each skein of yarn and the way it feels when knitting or crocheting and then being worn.
Thank you! You have beautiful yarn!!
I am dealing with nerve damage to both hands and currently can’t knit, which is just killing me! Luckily, I can still pet and otherwise appreciate my yarn stash. I would love to add these beauties to my stash!
I love love love knitting. I started knitting about a year now. I’m retired and it has become my love and joy and job however I don’t get paid for it LOL.
I absolutely think you’re adorable and I love your tutorials and I love it when you’re on live I’ve got several of your patterns downloaded that I’m going to try at some point.
Please keep inspiring us 🙂
Knitting allows me to zen out and find peace while finding joy mixing colors and textures.
Such beautiful colors. just ordered bunch of yarn. can not wait to begin casting on
I love knitting. It relaxes me so much, plus I enjoy making things for my grandsons.
I love crocheting because it is enjoyable & relaxing. I love making beautiful items to wear or give away.
With my Fibromyalgia there are days when all I can do is lay on the couch or in bed. Knitting and crocheting keep my hands busy and prevent me from going stir crazy and/or sliding into a depression because of my condition.
I love that I can create something someone will wear or use to be cozy and warm. I also love that there are so many stitches to learn that I never get bored!
I have loved yarn since I was about 7 or 8 yrs old, my mother taught me how to crochet. I taught myself how to knit, I like the look of knitted garment, more than I do crocheted. Once start a project, I am already thinking of my next project. I knit everyday, everyday. Thanks for the FREE PATTERN FRIDAY.
I love the finished product, and knowing that I used a string to make a beautiful fabric. Especially a colorful piece of fabric!
Simple repeating patterns become almost like a meditative mantra.
It’s a bit like sorcery – wiggle a stick or two and poof! Use-able thing!
Knitting helps me focus and center, while making something beautiful.
knitting helps me with my anxiety. It relaxes me andme calm.I love the way yarnfeels
I learned to crochet as a child, I had stopped for a long time until my thirties and my youngest was born. It feel so cathartic while working with fibers and being able to escape and meditate. I have also recently started to learn to knit with your youtube videos.
I learned to knit from watching your YouTube videos! Thank you for sharing your skills! I love to knit and crochet because working with yarn is so soothing. It helps me relax and focus. I like keeping my hands busy, even when “sitting still.” I love making scarves, shawls, and blankets – some to keep, and some to gift!
I always love just to see your emails the yarns are s pretty and luscious.
I love that I can stay busy and productive while resting and the beautiful things that grow from the beautiful yarns can make others happy. It gives me a chance to learn and to teach and to keep traditions alive.
I love how relaxing knitting and crafting is. It keeps me connected to my grandmother because I think of her often while knitting because she’s the one that taught me. 😊❤️🧶
Knitting and crocheting are my stress relief. When I worked in call centers (and saw people at their very worst) they would give us squishy stress toys to play with. I found keeping my hands busy kept me calm and focused. Plus you get nice, cozy things in the process!
My mom taught me how to crochet when I was 10..loved the knit stitches more , not to say crochet not beautiful. So , at the age of 12 I saved up enough money to buy myself a HOW TO KNIT KIT and taught myself. Since then I’ve been knitting up a storm. I love your yarns, knitting is so magical.
I love to crochet and create beautiful pieces and I’m able to just zone out and leave all my cares away. It also helps me with my Tourette.
The colours are mesmerising!
I like the repetitive motions. It’s relaxing and soothing.
Returning knitter, I love these beautiful soft yarns. Chandi is such an uplifting person too and I need that right now. Thanks for all you do
I love the entire experience, especially sitting quietly and learning something new, and just figuring out which yarn will look best with the with which pattern. And the softness of the yarns, their wonderful names, all of it is a delight every time. I am SO glad I happened upon EFA…!
What i love about yarn/knitting/crocheting…where to start?!!! The first thing is the yarn itself!! i LOVE YARN!! Colorways draw me in first i am so in love with color, next is definitely the tactile love, i could sit running my fingers through soft silky yarn all day!( same goes for running my fingers up and down the pages of a book, i do it the whole time i read!) Then i fall in love with a pattern, actually most of the time for me i fall in love with a pattern and then find the yarn perfect for it….i love the whole process from receiving skein babies in the mail, to winding them and starting to knit or crochet them to seeing someone receive a finished item and being so happy !!*(i give just about everything i make away) I am so very grateful for Youtube as i taught myself to knit and crochet from it and i am so thankful that i just kept pausing and restarting videos and kept trying and trying to learn because i love these crafts so much now and like others above also said, these crafts are definitely therapeutic for me. I am a working mother of four and no matter if i only can get in ten minutes at night at the end of a very long day, i cherish any time i get to knit/crochet/play with yarn!
Knitting is relaxing even if the pattern is challenging. It’s so rewarding to see the finished items.
February and yarn. great combo. I live in western NY and we can get some pretty nasty weather. I can get depressed if the bad weather lasts very long (and it can) during the winter here we don’t get a lot of sunny days. when I feel depression coming on I pick out my brightest yarn and find an easy pattern and fall deeply into the pattern and any warm, sunny story I can think of in my mind. (that why an easy pattern, lol) yarn in the winter is my go to place.
Great selection as always, maybe I will be lucky one of these months….ya never know.
Beautiful Yarn!!!!!
I love knitting for the relaxation and seeing an idea come to life. I love yarn for the textures and the infinite colors.
Knitting is my peace. I protect it. I wish for more hours in the day to knit beautiful things. I love your sense of color and your spitit.
These yarns are so beautiful! Makes my day to work with them and my family loves all of their little gifts. Thanks Chandi!
I’m totally relaxed, when I’m knitting and crocheting. For me it’s the best hobby of the world 😍 I love it so much 💕
Where I tension up the yarn on my right hand , I love the feel of the yarn gliding over and around my fingers as I knit. It is a sweet intimate connection as I make my treasure. The visual is yet another beauty full reminder of the love I have for this passion.
Oh, if only I could get my hand on these beauties!!!! Knitting (Crafting and Designing) is so relaxing, it makes me/you forget about all the worries in the world.
I love how knitting (and crochet) settle my mind and help me focus.
Added bonus: they cut down on my snacking!
I love knitting!! I mean I really LOVE knitting!! I have a hard time not knitting. I love the feel in my hands, I love the movements of my hands as I knit and of course, I love the texture and finished product. I also do needlepoint, which I love but not like knitting. Even through my needlepoint projects, I HAVE to knit too!! the yarns, the colors, I’m addicted I guess!! Its soothing and meditative and yet I can talk to other people or watch a movie.
I love all the yarn i have purchased and look forward to getting more….and more! Your patterns, tutorials, and yarns are the best collection I’ve seen. Would love to be a winner of your giveaways!
What I love about knitting and crocheting is seeing the progress I make!
I love to knit and crochet, meditate and relax enjoying the creative processes of the fiber arts. I love to find a pattern and learn from the talent artist who make wonderful patterns, teaching new techniques!
Love your giveaways. The yarn looks so inspirational. Thanks for being you
I find crocheting very relaxing. It’s therapeutic for me and having the finished product is always a good feeling.
I love the feel of the yarn in my hands. I love watching the project transform. My knitting time is my time for my brain to unload. Thank you for another giveaway!
Knitting and crocheting….my true oasis spots!
Knitting gives me something that is both creative and methodical–perfect for the practical side of my personality that also wants the nourishment of creativity.
Crochet is how I focus and relax away the stress of my busy schedule. Being able to produce something beautiful is just an added bonus. My favorite is making keepsakes for expectant families and the photos I get after of the new bundles using are the absolute best thing in the world.
Love, love, 💗 these colours …..I enjoy using yarn to create beauty…..currently cross stitching Medieval hearts onto what will become a double crocheted cowl.
Knitting is my zen when I’m alone. It keeps me focused and happy in the world. Knitting brings me joy because it gathers me with friends. Knitting makes me grateful and I love to gift special items. Pretty yarn makes me twitter all over, and creating beautiful, useable things is the best thing in the world and makes me feel connected to past generations.
Your colorways are some of the most creative and original. I love seeing the pictures that inspired the yarn.
I weave, but my loom room is at the other end of the house from my husband’s office (he’s a writer) so we want to spend as much time together as possible, and in the evening we sit in our recliners, visiting and watching television. I can knit (when we are not holding hands (~; ) and relax, while we just enjoy being two-gether.
I love knitting and am learning crochet. I like to create items to bring comfort to babies, the elderly, the sick, etc. Also, knitting and crocheting relaxes me and is therapy to my mind.
I love knitting and other crafts because all of the colors we use make me so happy to look at.
love playing with color and texture to create something unique
Been knitting for a long time and find yarn gets my attention where ever I go. Yours is one of my favs
I have knitted for my entire family over many years, but at 71 years young, I have decided to knit for myself and I love it. I am making anything from socks to camisols. I also appreciate the fact I can still knit! Thank you so much for the kindness you show all of us.
I love that fiber arts has been taken to such heights in the last few years, and I love that EFA is sooo much more than just knitting or crochet or yarn. Beautiful Chandi, thanks!
your messages always cause a smile to “spring” up on my face. Speaking of spring…is it almost time for flowers and green-ness in New England?
What do I love about knitting and crocheting? I love getting into my own little zone and shutting out the problems of the world for a while. I love the way it engages my senses!
Yarn takes me to a happy place! I love the colours and textures and adore variegated yarn. I love how I can lose myself in work, I love the solitude and I love how relaxed it makes me ❤️
I knit and crochet. I like knitting because of the soothing and meditative effect. The repetitive process is what makes it very calming. I like crocheting for the speed and the way the stitches are formed. One of my favorite types of projects is knitting lace. Knitting lace challenges my mind and skill. Both knitting and crocheting have their special place in my heart! 🙂
I love the creative process of crocheting (knitting too). I sometimes get an idea in my head about I wonder if I can make while working on my current project. It is fun trying to create these things.
i am a knitter, but just now starting whit the round needles.
i would love to knit whit those yarn, i just love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I love the feel of the yarn!
I find crocheting very relaxing. I am teaching my self how to knit now using you tube tutorials like yours
I LOVE seeing what my hands can create with a little time and patience! ♥️
How incredible what our mind can create. And to think we only use a small portion of it’s capability. Chandi, you are one who’s endowed with such a creative mind. Thank you for sharing such beauty!
I have crocheted since my grandmother taught me when I was 10 years old. It relaxes me and allows my mind to run free and create new items with your beautiful yarn. So many wonderful colors and textures.
knitting and crocheting are my go to for relaxing. I enjoy the process of making something beautiful from something beautiful. I like texture and color and you have some of the most beautiful yarns I would love to get my hands on.
I love that I can knit garments that are tailored to my measurements.
I can’t relax at night without a project on my hooks….
I love beautiful yarn and the potential it has.
aloha from Maui !!! I love every color that I see and want them all. Living here in the hot weather means a lot of what I crochet is given as gifts to friends on the mainland. I am always on the lookout for new patterns and yarn to use. Have a wonderful day.
Knitting and crochet are my “end of day stress relief”. Without these crafts I’d be a true workaholic!
Yarn is like candy to me; the colors , the textures. I like knowing that something beautiful will ensue when I start knitting.
You are a dear Chandi! What lovely yarns you have shared with us. I love being able to occupy my mind (and hands), while making new creations to donate to those in need. I donate items for newborns, the elderly, and anyone in-between! It gives me a sense a purpose, given I am now permanently disabled and unable to work. I know I am getting far more out of creating for others, than they receive from me. Thanks for providing your videos, I’m always up for learning something new. AGAIN….you are a dear!
I love the process of creating something beautiful that’s uniquely me, whether a special gift for someone else or as a hug for myself! Crochet and knitting are also a wonderful bond I share with my mom, my sister-in-law, and my best friend!
I love that taking a bit of time and patience you can make something for either someone you know or for yourself that no one else will have. The sense of achievement finishing a knit or crochet and looking at it and saying to yourself ‘I made that’!!
Hi Chandi – Beautiful colors and thank you for all that your do for us.
I so wish you were still in Alaska but I am glad that you love your new home. I love your yarns and was so sad to lose a tote when moving recently. Thanks for the chance to build up the stash again.
OMG! Winning this would be awesome. I love to knit and crochet.
Ohhhhhhhhh! Such beautiful colors. I’m a newbie knitter. I’ve crocheted for years. Working with yarn is my stress reliever.
I like making a cozy blanket from string.
What colors! I am smitten!
I love the feeling and texture of yarn in my hands as I knit!
Oh that’s an easy question! It calms the mind…. unless it’s a test with a gazillion micro sts, wire frame and short timeline…sometimes I forget to breathe during those. I love blue but not when it’s my face due to lack of oxygen…not a pretty sight. ;p
Some wonderful colours on offer for Feb. thanks Chandi! xo
Absolutely love this yarn. My great grandmother taught me how to crochet, knit, tend to flower gardens. Knitting has become an important part of my journey.
love knitting – the yarn, the learning, collecting tools, patterns and the feeling of accomplishment while i’m knitting and when i’m wearing what I’ve made.
I love the feel of the fiber when I’m knitting. When I shop, the colors catch my eye first but I have to fondle the skeins before I take them home with me. Laughing and chatting with my friends is also something I love about knitting.
Colors this month look gorgeous!! Pinks and grey and brown, lovely combinations. I enter every month……hoping!
I absolutely love yarn, knitting & crocheting (maybe in that order.) I love the feeling of yummy, scrumptious yarn gliding between my fingers as my soul dances to the rhythm of the stitches. I love that fiber arts can bring people together and bridge generations/cultures/ different backgrounds. I also love that a ‘pile of yarn’ can transform into a beautiful and unique gift. And finally, I love the sense of accomplishment I have when I have completed a project (even though it is very similar to finishing a really good book and saying goodbye to a beloved character.)
PS Thank you, Chandi, for all your good vibes. More than once your words of love and encouragement have been just what I needed to hear.
I love to find a crochet pattern that I can lose myself and all my problems behind and relax . Seems lately it is getting harder and harder to take time for myself. Maybe if I win one of these giveaways, It will give me the incentive to concentrate on myself and my crocheting, Thank you for all the things you do to help us all.
I love to play with colors and textures that are out of my comfort zone. Knitting is like my safe play space for that.
In the past year I have gone back to crochet and knitting I’m learning new stitches and I found out that I like knitting 🧶 more than crocheting, I also found out when I knit I’m more relaxed and creative.
Right now I’m knitting the GALENE Shawl. And loving 🥰 it.
Wonderful colours.
In a nutshell..Knitting keeps me sane. Love making something for others and the fabulous colours make my heart sing.
Yarn, especially good yarn, is delightful to feel, stroke, hold, and work with. I like that. I also like that I can make something amazing from whatever yarn I have available and it brings delight to others. There’s one other thing I have to admit: I like the shocked look on people’s faces when I tell them that I made that project that looks incredibly complex or hard. I would love to get my hands on a bushel of your beautiful colors! Literally!
It relaxes me and connects me with kind, lovely people like you even though I so rarely speak up. I feel part of something ancient and enormous and I know that if I have a problem, there’s a whole community of people ready to help! Yarn brings color and texture into my world and it doesn’t ask for anything in return. It soothes me sometimes just to look and feel through my stash; potential at my fingertips! 💜
I love to knit baby blankets. Keeping the next generation warm is my job. In between blankets, I knit chemo hats and I am just learning to knit socks. More ways to keep everyone warm!!!!
I love all yarn!!!! I’m addicted!!! My sister showed me how to crochet while I was visiting her in Oregon oct 2018 and I haven’t stopped crocheting since.
I became disabled 2014 so crocheting has given me something I can do. I love making items for my family..
I learned how to knit at the age of 42 by watching your videos. I have discovered that I love it. it’s relaxing and it’s so rewarding to watch my projects grow.
Hi,
I enjoy entering all the yarn giveaways from you. I love looking at the different colors. My heartfelt gratitude for your generosity. I am hoping that I win this time as Feb 12th is my birthday. If by chance I do win…this would be the bestest and the most wonderful gift.
Sheela
Crochet and knitting allow me to relax and forget about the things that stress me out. Thanks to modern tech I have learnt these fabulous crafts. I love a new challenge and think hand make is better. I put a lot of love and energy into making gifts for others.
Hand crafts just allow you to occupy a unique and different place in your mind. Its a localized escape.
Your yarns and sense of color are amazing! I love working with yarn because it reminds me of my mother who taught me how to knit and crochet when I was a pre-teen. I’ve been doing this on and off for more than 50 years. The sense of accomplishment when a project is completed is uplifting and I love it when I can give a gift I made with my own hands. Whether it be a baby gift or beautiful shawl for a cherished friend, it is joyous to see how they appreciate the quality of the yarn and the time and effort taken. Your yarns and patterns provide the inspiration to create. Thank you for sharing your precious gift with all of us.
Knitting is my stress reliever and my meditation. As a very tactile person, it nourishes that side of me and I appreciate dyers such as yourself for sharing your creativity with me.
I find Knitting to be very contemplative and relaxing.
What I love about yarn and crafting? Oh my, I love the fact that I can take a skein of beautiful yarn, add 2 knitting needles and create something so wonderfully special.
Absolutely lovely.. it would be a dream to actually get to try out your yarn.
Stay lovely beautiful soul! And thank you for this chance.
What I love about crocheting is that it allows me to be creative and mathematical at the same time. I get to use beautiful fibers and create a piece that the owner will enjoy for years to come. It also helps calm me down and is very portable. There is just something about making something for someone. Like giving them a piece of your heart.
Crocheting beautiful gifts for my family with beautiful yarn.
Crocheting is my happy place. Love to see new items come alive as I create.
I love expressing creativity through my yarn craft and learning new ways to do so.
I lOVE knitting, crocheting, stitching … I love the touch of the yarn on my skin, I love the beautiful soft things that come out of it, I love my kids when they proudly wear some mom-made accessories, I love knitted / crocheted toys that seem so huggable …
Thank you, Chandi, for this fabulous giveaway! Each and every one of the skeins are spectacular! Can’t wait to win these yarn beauties.
I love seeing a finished project and knowing that it started out as about a mile of yarn and my own hands and ideas made it into something unique, useful, and enjoyable.
I love to knit for myself, but especially for my friends who enjoy the finer things in life. Keeps my mind sharp too!
I love your yarn! The colors are magical, I don’t know how you do it.
I’ve had a serious love for knitting for several years now, and only recently found Chandi on You Tube. I felt an instantaneous connection the minute I heard her speak. Her way of sharing her art and creativity is surpassed by no other as far as I am concerned! I am inspired by her and love her authenticity and humor and generosity. She understands pain, yet she does not live under it’s influence. She is simply a beautiful soul, and I love how she expresses herself.
When crocheting/creating/crafting, I love the quietness of mind. It’s one of the only times when I’m not thinking about what needs to be done or worrying about someone/something, etc. I also love starting with something that seems insignificant, and turning it into something useful/beautiful that someone can enjoy.
Awesome, awesome yarn.
I love to knit and crochet. Just gave away about 100 pounds of yarn to an organization that will use them for adult and children at the hospitals.
It felt good to unload all that yarn for a great cause. I always have at least 2 projects going at any given time.
I make scarfs and hats and fingerless gloves that I just love to give to those that need it. I’ve attempted to do a vest with alternating color. After finishing the project itt actually looks like that is the way the yarn was and not the two colors. Awesome, soft as anything put I find that i USE THAT VEST ALL THE TIME.
I love that crafting allows me to feel relaxed yet satisfy the overachieving part of my brain that can’t sit still 🥰
I always love all your yarns..holding my hopes high my grandbabies love their cardigans I make them..I love crocheting shawls and knitting cardigans.
I love the fact that I can make handmade gifts.
Thanks for being here.
Kris
I love the possibilities of what yarn can become. Sometimes it’s overwhelming because the choices can seem endless, but it’s so worth it in the end!
I crochet and I love the way it allows me to build texture and color into fabric. I also find crochet to be a rather forgiving art form — I can practice stitches, pull them apart, and the yarn is still viable for another try. 🙂
I love all aspects of knitting from dreaming up designs through choosing yarn and colours, to knitting, frogging, reworking and wearing. But the actual stitching process is of the greatest benefit to me, serving has meditation and relaxation in part of my pain management plan. Thank you for sharing your beautiful yarns with this giveaway.
I love watching the pattern unfold as I crochet or knit. Watching something come from “nothing”, is very gratifying for me.
Beautiful colors
Knitting is my thing and I love your yarn! I also work at a yarn store to support my habit!
I love the color and feel of the yarn I work with and it always amuses me how no matter where I am somebody asks what I am making and tells me it is beautiful!
Hello Chandi The Beautiful !! You make my heart happy!!! Thank you for being you!!!!
I’ve been quite an unwell person for y 40 + yrs on this big beautiful blue ball. I was taught to knit and crochet from age 7 by mom. Along the way have picked up rug latching, ceramic painting, sewing and little crafts of all kinds along the way. With these arts its allowed my creative bug inside live way beyond my physical parameters. Its allowed me some sanity and kept a smile on my face and heart… there is just nothing like having a vision and seeing it come to life!!
February baby here, and this year was the big 4-0!!
I’ve been crocheting and doing fibrecrafts for 50 yrs now and can’t imagine my life without it! I’ve been teaching crocheting to adults and children for a number of years now and love seeing the excitement on someone’s face when they learn.
I love wearing something I made by hand – it makes me feel great!
I love how crocheting forces me to be in the moment, it is very meditative. I also love beating able to make something beautiful that no one else has, because even though I usually work from a pattern, the smaller details – yarn choice, personal tension, the precise way I work my stitches etc – are all my own.
Working with natural fibres to create beautiful, long-lasting items that I or my loved ones will enjoy – there’s a sense of accomplishment in that which is lovely!
I love knitting because even if I don’t need/want something, I can always find someone to give a gift to. And when their daughter confiscates it, I get to make another gift!
I love the fiber arts. Been crocheting and knitting on and off for 54 years, gravitating more toward knitting, though. My intention is to practice continental-style giving me the opportunity to knit faster so I can knit more items. Another skill I would like to learn, and become proficient at, is drop spindle spinning. Hopefully, that will be before summer! Have a great day! 😉
I love to create, I love to sew and crochet, I just recently taught myself to knit and when I say recently 2/21/2020.
Knitting 🧶 is something I really wanted to learn and boy did this frustrate me to death… I decided I could not give up, giving up would mean, I gave up on myself.. This is not an option
For me, the only person that can help you achieve your goal besides GOD is you!
I have been addicted to knitting since I learnt to knit at 5 years old. For the past 8 months, creating has been my life line.
I love to crochet, I learned as a way to help me get out of a lil’ slump I was in at the time. With crocheting, it’s easy to work up the project quite quickly while being fairly easy to learn. It made me feel good to be able to create things so peacefully. Thank you for your generosity!!
There are a ton of things I love about crochet. I love making something is so calming for me and works as excellent stress relief. I can crochet for just 10 minutes a day, and it makes my day better. And the fact that it helps with my insomnia? Amazing! I love watching a cake of yarn turn into a finished project, does feel like magic at times. Of course, my favorite part, and the one that I absolutely adore, is giving those finish items away and watching them being enjoyed by others.
I taught myself to knit (from watching Chandi’s videos online) after losing my job while on a medical leave of absence. I am a single parent of a wonderful, amazing kid with autism, and I needed something to help keep me grounded for a while. I am incredibly passionate at everything I do (why do anything if you don’t put your soul into it?), and I refuse to ever muddle through anything. When it came time to throw crocheting into the mix, I went straight back to Chandi 🙂 Even when I’m following another pattern, if I need to learn a new technique I find myself checking EFA videos first. I am a typical Aquarius who hears the symphony of the Universe as a whole and believes that the greatest soul-searching can be done through watching the animals and nature most of us take for granted. There is NOTHING you will experience that someone else hasn’t been through already. In that way we are all connected…don’t forget that fact the next time you get so wrapped up in what’s wrong that you become blind to everything you have that others could only dream of!
I love knitting ,just learned how to knit last August recovering from Ankle surgery. Now I can’t ever let a day go by without knitting something. I love the feel and look of the beautiful vibrant colorful fibers. I haven’t yet bought any high quality yarn yet because I sometimes feel I’m not that good enough to knit with such gorgeous yarn. But I really can’t wait to in my stash your gorgeous yarn you have in your store. I want to thank you Shandi for being the cheerful and free spirit you are. I love how you share and teach us on your tutorials. I can’t wait to do a shawl for myself when I go on vacation to Domican Republic this May. It will be my first trip out of the country and my first shawl project. I can’t wait to see how this will all turn out. Having you there in spirit and in video will give me all the confidence I’ll need to make this shawl just as magical you make your products and your videos. Thank you Shandi!!
As always another fantastic giveaway – thank you so much Chandi
The thing I love the most about crochet is how calming it is. I really miss it when I’m not well enough to crochet and find that quite frustrating 😉
What ever I make I jut love to sit down with a fresh new dyed immaculate yarn and start those first few stitches and for the most part, I let that inspire what I make or design. In the phone book the saying is, “Let your fingers do the walking” in yarn I “Let my fingers do the creativity thinking”. Thank you for an opportunity to take part in this giveaway xx
