All my beautiful blues again! Thank you for your endless generosity and loving spirit.
I love blue , too. I plan to make one of your shawls. Right now finishing a fair isle pullover for my grandson.
Chandi, I received the nautical buttons with my last order. My cousin asked if you sell them? I made a Button Christmas tree with mine.
I love making items and giving them away, such as hats and scarfs
If I could figure out an easy way to do a heel that looks like a normal store bought sock heel, I would love to make socks. I get tired of the hats and shawls and scarves. I do love blankets, but I need to tackle sock making. I made one and it required like 20 stitch markers..lol. There has to be a better way. An easy to memorize way. This year I need to accomplish this.
Hi Chandi, I am planning to complete an adult sized sweater this year. Normally I do shawls and hats so this will be new!
My focus for 2020 is self-care, so my yarn-y projects will be explorations of my own creativity and of pushing the boundaries of what I think I can do/make. I might deviate slightly, though, and make your Red Velvet Rose Wrap again (I gave mine away), this time out of something really yummy and snuggly!
I’d be awesome to win the month of December. My birthday is the 14th. With all that yarn in most of my favorite colors I’d me a crocheting fool for the begining of 2020. Hats, scarfs, fingerless gloves, a throw. All colors here look like they would blend well together. The possibilities are ends. And yes I’d gift some items to friends and family.
I am learning how to knit socks and want to make some for my grandchildren. I love the beautiful colors you make!
Oh , thank you for your generosity and encouraging posts. I love the colors you put together. We are fiber sisters. I love the fiber crafts.Have you done any clasped weaving? I’m trying it on my peg loom. I saw a lady weave this way on you tube. Your yarn looks so sensual I might just break my yarn buying resolve and buy some of that special sock yarn to make myself a Christmas present. I have everyone else’s made. It’s my turn. I’m almost finished with the Copland shawl.
I remember k itting when I was a young child with my grandma and again when I was in my late 20’s. All I could knit were garter rows! Had to find a hobby to keep my hands busy and rest my mind. So I started knitting again, but this time I’m letting loose and I’ve learned how to purl!! I opened a new world and I LOVE IT! So what is my next project? Probably the Palette and I can’t wait 🙂 Thank you for the pattern and video.
I plan to knit at least one of your shoulder wraps in 2020! Thank you for the beautiful patterns.
I am working on some of the beautiful patterns I have gotten free from you. I already made a hat. It came out great except for my mistakes. I have been knitting for years and still make mistakes any good tips for me.
Shawls, scarves, baby blankets and maybe my first adult sweater.
Wow! Beautiful blues! …. I’m really enjoying knitting socks right now, so I’ll probably knit a few more pairs of those next year. And I always knit each of my kiddos a new sweater every year. ❤
I plan to knit and crochet baby blankets for donation. Also I will be learning how to crochet socks and knit fingerless gloves
All of those blues are gorgeous! It’s my favourite colour. My birthday is in late Dec so blue is my birthstone colour. I never make myself anything but in the new year I have lined up some cabled sweater (pullovers and cardigans) projects to make for myself. I’ll be having surgery on Feb 4 so I’ll have a lot of down time after my surgery. Thank you, Chandi, for your awesome yarn giveaways. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I’m trying to finish a cardigan hopefully before the end of this year then I’m going to attempt the crocheting of socks for myself. I’ve never done it before so it will challenge me immensely.
I hope to learn new knitting skills and make some wonderful gifts for next Christmas. Thank you for your beautiful yarn and amazing patterns.
Hoping to learn how to knit in 2020 and knit one of your gorgeous shawl patterns!
In 2020 I plan on knitting a few shawls, some fingerless mitts, a couple of hats, and some sweaters. I also plan on crocheting several projects too.
Im going to start and finish my first sweater in 2020 lol . Ambitious i know. but i can do it.
I plan on making the many summer wraps and try my hand at a crochet tank top.
Definitely Shawls in 2020 – beautiful colors
I hope to decrease my stash faster than you can dye and tempt me!
Beautiful colors! Depending on the yarn, my plans include lots of shawls, socks and hats.
Hi!!! I’m currently working on a baby blanket and a shawl.
I love your yarns and videos.😍
I want to make shawls and cowls!
OMGosh! All those scrumptious blues! 💙 Its like a little bit of heaven.
Already have 2 scarves, a shawl, and a blanket scheduled for 2020
I plan on making some shawls and working on Christmas ahead of time instead of running out of time! Will be making some lap blankets and trying some amigurumi projects!
Once I finish my winter scarf I’ll start on an throw for my new couch. New couch needs a new throw, right? Lol! Beautiful colors this month!
I am currently knitting a boomerang shawl with your North Pole Pearlescent Fingering. It is working up beautifully and I cannot wait to wear it!
I adore your gorgeous yarns and your wonderful positive spirit. I look forward to new products and offers in you emails.
Thanks for brightening my day!
I have woven smaller things, but in 2020 I hope te finally be able to weave a blanket.
Wow, just my colours! I hope I can finish my cardigan next year.
I desire to make myself a shawl, mittens and most highly learn to knit socks.these colours are stunning and will go great 👍 with my plans😀😍😅
My favorite colors! Chandi you’ve outdone yourself! Thank you for your generosity.
I’m hoping to make sweaters for the grandkids, and something special with your beautiful yarn for ME!
Hi Chandi, I love all your yarn! I plan to start the worth wrap in January. And probably some hats and more neck warmers for my hubs. He really loves neck warmers. (He works outside and we are in Wisconsin…so you know why he likes them so much.) He worries that he might ruin them at work with dirt and grime. I tell him to wear them!! I’ll knit more!! And Chandi has lots of yarn for me to buy! LOL!
This is going to be the year of shawls. I have so many of them in my queue and can’t wait to get started
Am looking to knit my first sweater (adult size) for myself !
I have planned to knit all of the free patterns I have of yours this year. Plus chrochet the pineapple shawl . It’s just deciding on what colour from your many to start with …
Oh, be still my heart. All that blue! I have plans to work at least 2 warm sweaters, 2 blankets, 2 wraps, and a stack of socks this next year.
I have quite a few blankets for family that I will be working on for 2020. Plus I would like to tackle a sweater for myself.
This month I am working on a much needed hat for my 25 year old son. But I decided thick wool and cables were the best thing in a nice medium grey. Also, I am finishing work on many of my UFO’s as I have too many to count. We recently moved to our first home, proud homeowner here, and in the packing and unpacking I have found things I forgot I even started.
Next month I plan to start on gifts for next Christmas. Yes, I am that person. I knit for myself mostly in December but start my Christmas shopping and crafting in January.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter this drawing and for you being so great to do a giveaway. Blessings to you in your life and in your business.
Beautiful greens and blues! 2020 will find me weaving!
Gorgeous!!
This yarn is absolutely beautiful!!😁and I just finished my baby blanket😃 just in time!! And I love it so much that now, I’m starting another one for my sister!! I also just finished up the hats I had started for friends and family!! Thanks Chandi ! For introducing me to the wonderful worldly “Knitting” 🥰
In 2020, I plan on working on blankets for my kids and SHAWLS/WRAPS! LOVE LOVE LOVE knitting all kinds of shawls and wraps! Your yarn makes BEAUTIFUL shawls and wraps! Thank you for what you do!
oh, so beautiful! My upcoming projects are woven throws, crocheted hats, and some spinning.
These are GORGEOUS!!! For 2020, I think I’m going to get into a shawl making phase. Never was one to wear a shawl, but now I think it’s my time. Lol. Plus my eldest wants me to knit her a wedding shawl – she’s 18, no prospects, but I’m ill and may not be here then. These are her colors, too!
Love the colors of December yarn giveaway it will be perfect to make sweaters and wraps using your patterns.
Knitting in 2020 is all about Shawls for me. I love knitting them, gifting them and wearing them!
I plan to crochet a granny square sweater and some tops for myself this year. I’m always making things for others. I plan to also make some pillows for my den. I would also like to try and learn how to knit this year. 🙂
I am in love with all these blues… gorgeous!
Your patterns are fabulous! I’m starting with Galene, and Milla is in my list! Who knows after that!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I’m going to continue to make beanies in 2020, but I want to branch out into longer projects as well. I want to challenge myself with new stitches and techniques. Your videos are super easy and fun to follow.
Hi Chandi! I currently have 10 projects going on right now. I know none of them will be done before the holidays so they will be worked on next year. Scarfs, wraps, sweaters, a double knitting scarf (I’m a slow knitter), 2-3 afghans ranging from baby to king size and then I’ll be making a pattern for another double knitted scarf (for the friends wife) and making it. Hope to have all of it done before October… then I can start working on 2020 projects (there’s about 25 of them). Never enough time. I need to retire but can’t because of all the yarn I need. Happy holidays to you and Tim!
My grandmother made us sweaters, which we still love. I’d love to make one for my four year old. But first, I will try the Harmony Shrug since I am new to knitting. Here’s to hoping, practicing, and making memories.
All these yarn colors are so yummy!
I have 4 or 5 sweater patterns picked out to crochet next year. We’ll see how far I get, most of those were supposed to be this year’s projects, but the adorable baby laying in my lap slowed down my crafting progress.
A knitted cardigan/ sweater is right at the top of my list of projects for 2020.
Such gorgeous colors!
Oh my gosh that yarn is glorious. Ok, I have 2 baby blankets to make by March. I adore the yarn I have picked out and the patterns so despite it sounding like a big commitment, I think it’s doable. After that, totally gonna make something for myself. No idea what yet, though.
I love your yarn. I am an avid crocheter and aspiring knitter. My favorite things to crochet are hats, mittens, and socks. Over the next few months I plan on collecting a bunch of yarn and crocheting and donating cancer caps for patients at my local cancer treatment center. It’s going to be fun and I’m hoping that people will like them.
I plan on doing some scarves, shawls, sweaters and blankets. Love the colors!!!
Iam planning to work on rhe blue sky sweater
I was hoping to get a pull over sweater knit this year, but that’s definitely moving to 2020! 🙂 I’m also hoping to get some fair-isle scarves done for family, and I would love to get a big ole blanket done. Mostly, I’m just hoping to get through some of my stash so I can justify buying more yarn!!
Gorgeous, as always! You spoil us with all the beautiful colors!
Love! Love! Love!
I will be working on another one of your beautiful shawl patterns and smaller projects (like hats and washcloths, etc) for Operation Christmas Child boxes all year.
Thank you Sweet Soul! ❤️
I plan on making coals, scarves, blankets for my kids, and I would like to make a sweater.
Cardigans and wraps, or shawls. They go everywhere, even in a chilly church in August!
And maybe a blanket?
For 2020, I’m planning on making a viajante shawl for my daughter, a mosaic knit shawl for a coworker to give a friend, and socks… loads of socks lol
Im planing to make your knitted patterns 2020 and love the crochet shawls making 1 know presence shawl thank you love your podcast and I’m a customer and happy to be a customer thanks happy holidays.
Such BEAUTIFUL colors!! Finishing up some UFOs, reallllly need to weave tails in several projects, and going to stash dive for small projects – hats, cowls, wristers – and THEN make a shawl (or 2 or 5) with EFA yarns…Such rich colorways! So very difficult to decide on a fave…..sigh…. but that’s all good!
I think I’d love to make a sweater with that gorgeous yarn. You have some great crochet patterns that I could see making something gorgeous.
Hope to get one of your lovely shawls on my needles. Just waiting for the yarns to be restocked!!
My plan for the coming year is to use up some of my stash so that I may buy more of your beautiful yarns. I have several patterns in line and can’t wait to knit them.
Those colors are beautiful! SQUISH!! ♥♥♥
I have plans for a couple of shawls and scarves in 2020! Happy Holidays!
Socks, socks and more socks. I would love to try a cardigan.
I plan to make 2020 the year of socks. I realized I have entirely too much sock yarn in the stash.
2020 is dedicated to finishing UFOs! Yes, there are THAT many, lol!
Oooh, in 2020 I hope to be knitting hats, scarves, socks, and my first ever cardigan! Thanks for your beautiful videos and your encouraging words! You brighten my day!
I’m going to try and make some quick hats for local homeless or low income, especially baby hats. Other than that, I’m probably going to attempt one of your sweaters! This is incredibly generous, I can’t believe you do this every month. Much gratitude, and congrats to whoever wins!
This year I hope to finish off a few of my many WIPs
All the shawls!!!!
I plan to do some sweater and blanket work in the year to come! Though I have a real hard time staying away from hats. Scarves, too! Plus all the drapey stuff. I just love yarn!!
Next year is a year of Gratitude and Giving Back, so part of the giving up will be in the form of hats, scarfs, cowls, and shawls.
How lovely! I hope to make my first sweater in 2020. I just started crocheting this year so it’s all new to me. Just bought a handful of your yarns int he last month and they are gorgeous!
I am planning to try some new yarns and new stitches in 2020! Who knows what will be made xx
Sweaters sweaters and more sweaters! And hopefully my first gloves!!!
I’m in the process of finishing another sweater, and a baby cowl. After I finish them, I am going to make another sweater with nicer yarn, I just had to be sure I could make it before attempting with nicer yarn lol
My favorite color is blue in all its shades and glory. The December giveaway is thus a dream come true for me to have an opportunity to win such beautiful yarns. I prefer having different shades of yarn but just enough to make shawls, wraps etc.
I’m currently working on Emily’s Love and Lace shawl, but I wish to make a sweater next year! Not sure which one, but I’ll figure it out.
Blue…my favorite color! Sitting here after my second knee replacement, I can almost feel the soft, squishy yarns.
I plan on making more scarves and wraps…
I’m also enjoying exploring new & better fibers.
I’m still working on my whale hats! I’m hoping to have a good amount done by the start of Alaska’s whale season!
I want to make soooooo many things! Sweaters, scarves, bags, a baby blanket and also finish all of my UFO’s
Hi Chandi,

Your yarns are
Truly the most beautiful. Saving my pennies so I can indulge. ❤️
Really beautiful colors. You do know how to get some good ones. I really hope to make quite a few ponchos for the women in my family. Here’s hoping. Happy Holidays!

I want to make a fit sweater for the first time and a bralette!!
I would like to finish a sweater I’m making for my daughter. I’m going to make small blankets to donate to my local animal shelter. Also make some lap blankets for the elderly that live in the same nursing home as my mom.

Shawls, big ones, are my favorite, especially in the new year after a busy fall of crocheting gifts.
2020 is the year that I devote to knitting shawls for my mother and mother-in-law.
2020 is the year I’m going to learn to knit socks.
Love your beautiful yarn!
I’ve fallen in love with your colours and inspirational photos, and have now acquired some of your yarns and patterns. I’m still not sure what I will make. Every time I think I’d like to try a particular pattern, you bring out new colours and patterns that make it so difficult to decide.
Beautiful blues my favorite color.. I’ll be making lots of blue hats for the Hat Not Hate anti bullying campaign. January is my birthday months what a lovely gift this would be!
Hi Chandi! I am hoping that this new year will be finishing all my wip’s, there are so many!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!!! Everyone else here too!!❤
I’m hoping to crochet my first sweater in 2020 and I’m in love with your Red Velvet Rose pattern. It’s nearing the top of my bucket list.
Love your yarns. The colors are absolutely stunning. This next year I am hoping to conquer socks and continuing shawls
What a beautiful and generous giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity! Projects I am planning to work on in 2020 include shawls, socks, and blankets. Plus some smaller accessories here and there! Thank you for your inspiration! <3
I’m planning on finishing a few more projects i have started, maybe try my hand a some dyeing (i bought bare yarn as a gift from me to me, my family doesn’t understand yarn) & hopefully make one of your gorgeous wraps
i adore your yarns <3
I am doing lots of blankets shawls and coals for this new year
I’m a firm believer that a girl can’t have too many sweaters.
But, I think this girl is running out of drawer space and a nice throw or shawl will be in order.
Cheers!!
Operation Sock Drawer is in full swing, so that’s going to carry over into the new year. My goal is to give up commercial socks completely. I need a few new shawls and scarves, too, and I have a few hats planned. And some mitts. Good thing I can knit during class, I guess, because I’ll be busy.
In 2020, I’m gonna knit ALLL the things!!
Such luscious colors and fibers! Thank you for your generosity of spirit and all of the wonderful patterns you give for free! I hope to finish my first crocheted sweater, start and finish my first knit sweater (eek!) and work on some shawls, hats and fingerless gloves…maybe even a pair of socks!
What GORGEOUS yarn! It would be a blessing to win! I would make one or two of your lovely shawl patterns with it.
I plan on making a shawl, a sweater, and am looking for Tunisian crochet patterns to try.
I’m so excited to have learned this new skills from you. Thank you for videos! I hope to have baby blankets, shawls for my mom and her sisters and try at least two of your skill building patterns you’ve posted.
2020 is to be my year of wraps (shawls, stoles, super-sized scarves, and so forth) … about two dozen more of them! ✔️💯🌟 (These are the final [i.e., 📸 photo-shoot] versions of the remaining wraps in my 36-piece Return to Gallifrey collection, available on Ravelry.com in the gkgreen designs store.) Thanks for asking! 👩🏻
I’m planning to knit more garments … and to learn to spin!
I plan on knitting cowls, shawlettes, hats, fingerless mitts, mittens, and hopefully a few sweaters & cardigans. Most of these will be gifts and maybe something for me 😉
My knitting plans for 2020 are the same as usual–always have multiple projects going on multiple needles, and whatever strikes my fancy at any given moment.
I would like to make a blanket for my daughter.
I am working on lace projects to give as gifts. My goal is to finish my w.i.p.s!
Love your yarn! Finished my Maple Fade and casting on a new shawl!! Love the blues!
Love, love, love the colors!- There’s at least 1 new shawl in my future!
Right now I am hooked on Helen Shrimpton’s designs. I’ve made to of her patterns and would like to make several more. The next one being for my daughter.
One of my dearest friends has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am going to knit her several prayer shawls (nothing too fancy) so when she is going through treatments she can be wrapped in the love of a good friend.
I’m a huge sock knitter, and I can never have enough hand knitted socks.
I have 5 grandchildren ranging from 1 month thru 4 years old so I am constantly knitting for them. I’ve knit blankets, sweaters, little ponchos, hats and scarves. They grow so quickly that I can’t keep up.
I’ll be making baby blankets primarily but also working on some shawls, scarves & hats! Thank you so much for another amazing giveaway!
Hi Chandi! I plan on knitting a shawl in multiple colors as well as weave several shawls and scarves. Thank you for the opportunity to win such scrumptious looking yarns.
Gorgeous as always and I could think of many things that I could make with these delicious yarns.
I have 4 – count’em – 4! afghans I need to finish before I start anything else. Then our son asked me to make another dress for his daughter, our granddaughter (and of course, I will). Then I’ll think about new projects. That resolution will last for about, oh, a week or so, until I see something that makes me go “oooh, gotta make that!”
Hi Chandi!
As an avid crocheter I want to spend 2020 working on my knitting skills! Dying to knit a beautiful throw for my living room!
I’ve really been into knitting socks and shawls this year. Not that it’s winter, I’d like to knit a set of matching mitts, mittens, and a hat. If a can squeeze a matching scarf or shawl out of the amount of yarn I have, I’d love to knit that, too.
This is the COLOR OF THE YEAR! Pantone chose this blue as a representation of the 2020 colorway for this year! You are totally in sync with the universal spirit of color!
I will definitely be making shawls, hats and socks plus (possibly) some actual fitted garments in 2020.
I have too many projects planned for 2020! I am currently finishing up projects for Christmas, I also just invited to a baby shower, and I’m so excited because it’s a girl!!! Every shower or family member having babies in the last year have been boys, so I actually get to make something in pink! yay!!!
I am gifting some lovely yarn and a pattern to my husband this Christmas with the promise of making him a lovely sweater with it. His current sweater that I knitted a few years ago for Christmas is a bit saggy and baggy but very much loved. Hoping he will love the new one as much.
Hey beautiful!
I’m currently working on a scarf for my dad with yarn from my grandma (his mom) who passed away. I also got some of your yarn to make a wrap for my mom. Working on red hats for the Little Hearts Big Hats campaign and some scarves, hats and lap blankets for local charities. I crochet to help with my PTSD and anxiety and love my collection of precious squishies!!
I look forward to making your Red Velvet Rose Shawl (for me) just because it is one of the loveliest I have ever seen! I also have a number of new crochet Chemo hat patterns I want to work on for a Spring donation.
Beautiful colors. Will probably be making more baby blankets, shawls & clothing items for self & family.
My knitting plans for 2020 include making a couple of tops for myself from your patterns, the champagne cowl is on my list as well, also plan on a special blanket as a wedding gift. Also have past projects I have promised to others such as the glove/mitts and shawls. Absolutely love the variety of colors and yarns you offer, keep up the amazing work you do in creating new colors and patterns. God bless.
Shawls, scarves, some market bags too. Tackling the vast array of patterns I have saved….it’s almost as large as my stash!!
Starting January 1 I will be starting your Wonder cardigan with a group of friends as a crochet along.
Plans for next year include all my favorite crafts, since 2020 marks the year of my 65th birthday. Now I work for me, and will enjoy turning all the many skeins of lovelies I’ve been collecting into even lovelier items to adorn others.
I am hoping to work through some of my little box of crochet projects that have been piling up!
I plan to knit more sweaters and shawls, AND I also plan to learn brioche better and two-at-a-time socks if I can work that into my schedule somewhere next year!!!
2020 has too many projects in the head
Shawl
Cardigan
Pullover
Shawl again
Wraps
My plan for the year 2020 is to finish some hibernating projects. I plan to learn to knit socks, two at a time so I will finish a pair of socks at the same time. Also, in my plans for the upcoming year is to knit a few sweaters and cardigans, knit a blanket, participate in at least 3 MKALs (probably shawls, who doesn’t love shawls?) and finally before the year ends learn to crochet (reading crochet patterns included.)
I’m planning on knitting the Wine Country wrap from last Friday’s free pattern giveaway!
I plan to do a year long project, beginning to end. Planning will begin in January. I will plot out my thoughts and ideas and timing. I will totally toss that out the window and wing it and work by intuition. As you said, I’ll let myself be guided. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens!
Thank you for all the beauty and positivity you put out into the world.
weaving: table runner, kitchen drying mat,
Knitting: hats, dishcloths, scarves, something new
crocheting: toys for my great grandson,
and stitch samples for new stithces
I love making hats for my friends and mostly for local charities. There is nothing like a beautiful hat on a cold blustery day.
I am planning on making the Fennmont sweater, and hopefully finish some socks. Those seem to be my downfall. 😂😂
I’m planning on making a few big shawls and lots of socks!
I am finishing felted bags as Christmas presents and then on to my Christmas mosaic shawl with the Oxblood and Pegasus DK yarns. More EFA projects in 2020. Thanks for all you do.
Stunning colours and so generous. I would love to make myself some cardigans/shawls this 2020. Wishing you and yours a most wonderful Christmas season, from us here in Canada 🙂 Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow x
I have 5 sweaters planned at this time. 😁
These colors are absolutely gorgeous! Love them all! A shawl, a scarf, a garment, anything one would make with these yarns would be gorgeous! Thank you for your lovely website and all your good wishes. A great way to start the day.
I would like to finish my cardigan!
My main project for the new year will be an afghan for our king size bed in shades grey with black and white as well. Thank you for your generosity and wonderful videos.
Love those gorgeous, moody blues!! Definitely a shawl – I love the versatility of shawls!! Thanks for your free patterns every week and the giveaways!! One of these days I might get lucky!! 🙂
I wish you could make some of your magic with cotton sometime – I crave the color you bring to the yarn – just can’t wear it! Beautiful though. Definitely eye candy!
I don’t really know yet what I’m gonna do in 2020! We’ll see what inspiration grabs me.
Once I finish a sweater for myself (progress upon which gets interrupted by projects for others every now and again), I am going to begin a series of prayer shawls for my far too many friends who are suffering some sort of physical or emotional pain.
Hat for my daughter, wrap for me…
Hoping to finish a poncho for myself, and start working on some socks for my daughter and daughter-in-love for Valentine’s Day. Absolutely love all the beautiful blue yarns! ❣️ Blessings to you and your family!
Hats, mittens, cottage socks & actual socks. Trying to teach myself continental instead of the weird left handed hybrid knitting style I accidentally taught myself when I started😂😂. Happy holidays and the winner is a very lucky person indeed!
Happy December, Chandi, wishing you & yours all the warmth and fun of the season! In 2020 I plan to experiment with hairpin lace to make better use of my weird handspun 🙂 I also want to make sweaters.
I plan to work on my stash of baby blankets for all my cousins and friends having new babies. In addition I wish to make an afghan for a friends mother whom has done so much for her family
These blues are making my heart race. I seem to be into shawls and wraps lately so will be doing more of those for 2020 and will probably try something different along the way because I love learning something new…..not yet sure what that will be yet!
I love the blues! I plan on knitting shawls, socks, and animals.
I am planning to finish projects already started and start new shawls in 2020! I want to start crocheting more as well and the blue/green yarns would make gorgeous summer shawls! Dreaming of the ocean right now!
I love the colors you make. I would like to ry my hand at making something for the guy in my life. He can be so picky though, Maybe een make some cat toys that are knitted. Small goals are achievable…lol
I’m working on a cardigan knitted from my handspun (alpaca and corridale blend). Maybe I can get that done. I’ll be weaving more shawls and scarves. And hope to knit at least one sweater.
These colors are gorgeous!!
I have so many things I want to make. I’m a beginner though and have to remind myself, baby steps! I was trying to learn to knit but I was having a hard time tensioning my yarn so I decided to try crocheting first to see if I could get that and it’s going well! I’m excited to see how I progress. My eventual goal is be able to knit socks so, we will see 🤷🏻♀️
I absolutely love the yarn you offer. It’s so hard to find wool yarn in general it seems but it’s even harder to find washable and luxuriously soft wool yarn! I have found my new favorite store 😂
I would like to make an Elephant toy for my daughter since they are her favorite animal. Also more lace shawls! I am sure something else will catch my eye that I have not even dreamed of yet.
These yarns are all beautiful, as expected . My plans are a few shawls, from which I got the patterns from you and a few scarves and mitten and hats.
Such beautiful yarn! Thank you for the opportunity
These are THE perfect colorways to make me smile and reach for needles! Wow, gorgeous. I want to make a mosaic color-work sweater and would these ever be gorgeous.
Gosh.. those blues are amazing!! I would like to knit a couple of sweaters, some socks & a shawl 😊
I’m hoping to tackle my first cardigan in 2020 🙂
These blues/greens are gorgeous, Chandi! I have a massive shawl design project planned, as well as a colorwork yoked sweater and a lace cardigan.
Shawls, shawls and more shawls! Already made one for one twin niece so planning one for the other twin! Definitely plan to finish some of the many UFO’s! You are awesome Chandigarh! Thank you for being you and sharing with us!!
I plan on knitting a couple of summer sweaters, suitable for here in the South. Also want to try a couple of lace shawls to expand my skills
I’m a beginner, newbie, totally hooked now, can’t wait to try something new, Expression Fiber Arts YouTube channel junkie! I’ve made a couple of scarves and afghans, but want to try my hand at a garment. I’ve downloaded several of your patterns and look at them longingly wishing to be good enough to make them. I think I’m ready to take the plunge!
Three kerchiefs and a lapghan. Whew! A lot to get done!
Thanks for the giveaway!!
In 2020, I’m planning on finding the time to knit the projects that are on my to-do list: shawls, scarves, hats, maybe a sweater. I love beautiful yarn and have so many ideas of what to do with it.
I plan to make some beautiful wraps this year, looking forward to starting with “Worth” 🙂
Finishing up has, scarves, and shawls for Christmas gifts. Then I will return to the Tunisian crochet blanket I have started, along with 2 sweaters, one crochet, and one knit (my first) that I plan to complete for myself after the holidays. May everyone have a holiday season filled with love, joy, and blessings
I’m looking forward to knitting some shawl patterns. Having something “springy” will help me get through a long winter in Wisconsin 🙂
Of course that has to fit into the long list of projects already on my needles,ha ha!!
These colors are absolutely beautiful. Coming from Expression Fiber Arts I always know that the feel of the yarn is fabulous as well as the colors. I love making hats, scarfs, shawls, and throws for my family.
I love your aesthetic, inspiring quotes and positive messages! 💕
I plan to make multiple shawls, bags and blankets in 2020.
This would be amazing to win! 😃
I am working on shawls!
Beautiful!!
I’m definitely guilty of having too many projects going on at once, but a few lap blankets, some shawls, and a few hats will be in progress soon. Also looking forward to trying the René pattern in the Mythical Hues kit for a friend. 🙂
I love blues, yet I have very little in my stash. Those blues are beautiful!!! Shawls and more shawls are in the plans. Also finish the 4 blankets I have started. I should also crochet myself a tuque. I live in Canada and have never made one. Thanks Chandi. Merry Christmas and a very happy New Years to you and yours
In 2020 I plan to knit a couple of shawls, some cowls, scarves and I may get up the courage to try knitting socks.
Loving your patterns! One of them will be on my needles in 2020! Just not sure which one-they are all lovely
I have several sweaters planned. Both summer and winter sweaters. I will always have a pair of socks on the needles as that is my go to project.
Be still my beating heart! This is the most beautiful combination of yarns I’ve seen so far of many, many beautiful colour combinations! This year, I plan to work on socks with my eldest daughter, a sweater and summer shirts in cotton and linen.
Like so many other crafters here, shawls would be my first choice for this yarn. And there’s enough yarn to play with stitches and be creative (something I am loathe to do when I’ve paid good money for pretty yarn–just want to make sure I have enough for the pattern). Thank you for making someone’s Christmas wish come true.
I’m targeting several gifts to knit, as usual (& a couple for myself) – Big Block Reversible Lapghan, Warm Shoulders Loop, Butterfly Cowl, Blue Sky Sweater, Seamless Baby Booties, some blue hats for Hat Not Hate, maybe Galene – and a few scarves/wraps on my rigid heddle loom in blue/purple, lilac/green, blue/gray, Green Bay Packers colors, and Wisconsin Badgers colors.. Wish me luck! 🙂
I expect that I will knit shawls, sweaters and hats inn2020. I am finishing up my first toy this week and hope to knit several stuffed animals next year.
Such gorgeous yarn! My yarn-related goal for 2020 is to finish all of my works in progress and un-finished objects- crochet and weaving. Then I can start new things with a clear conscience.
My goal is to learn how to knit and incorporate beads, looking for the perfect shawl pattern -from you of course – and these blues will be perfect
I hope to learn how to knit sox. 🙂
Love the blues!
I plan on knitting knit more garments as part of my me-made wardrobe. I need to get my sock mojo back too….has anybody seen it? I also REALLY need to spin more and create some one of a kind things with that.
Lovely colors, as always! Next year I plan and hope to do more gift knitting.
I’m working on a cardigan and hope to finish
by next year, then maybe a shawl for my mom as a birthday gift.
I plan to make hats, scarves and hopefully my first sweater.
if I won this yarn, in 2020 I would have to spend more time at the beach knitting these gorgeous blues. I have several shawl patterns in my queue.
I plan to knit a couple of shawls and three sweaters, one for myself and one for my husband. I shall also knit one more Fennmont sweater, this one for my daughter. In between some odd small projects like caps, fingerless mitts and scarves shall also find a place.
Baby blankets. I will never get done. Lol my sisters and friends keep having babies! When I had babies, I never had time to make them the beautiful blankets and accessories, so I am enjoying it now
In January I plan to take some ME time. With that time I am hoping to make a cardigan for myself. I’ve yet to do this (for myself that is!). My other 2020 projects are to finish some of my current WIPs and to learn Estonian lace. Maybe a wrap or Ruana or two. Other than that I’ll be like a lot of knitters I know, jumping on the next beautiful thing I see in my book, magazine or LYS travels!
In the next year of 2020, I plan to start knitting a new yellow sweater for myself as the yarn has sat there way too long. I also want to keep up with finishing my too many to count WIP’s. These blue yarns are pulling at my heart strings!
We have a new grand baby coming in April!!!!! Gotta get busy knitting. We find out next week if our daughter and SIL are having a boy or a girl (their first baby). We have 2 grand daughters from our oldest son and DIL. We love our grand babies!!!!!!
Hopefully, I’ll be working on some tiny baby sweaters <3
My daughter-in-law TOTALLY fell in love with the scarf I knitted up for her in your gorgeous Raven merino/silk fingering yarn!!! Thank you for your stunning and creative color palettes, for your inspiring Free Pattern Fridays – and for your intrepid joy in living!
In 2020 I hope to finish (ok, start) my to-do stash. It includes shawls, doilies, blankets, and baby dresses. For myself I’m hoping to make a lacy top.
I’m obsessed with knitting shawls right now. I want to make my 90 year old mother a beautiful shawl. She taught me to knit, even though I really didn’t get into it until I was 40! Now it’s my therapy, my relaxation, my happy time. She has made me a couple of shawls over the years and I cherish them. I love knitting gifts for others, always looking for patterns that I can knit while watching tv without making too many mistakes 🙂
Sweaters for me this year. Maybe one for every grandchild. Or at least one for the oldest so it can be handed down.
Going to try a shawl, beautiful colors.
So many projects on my list for 2020…socks, shawls, a sweater! Plus a group of us ladies are knitting scarves for homeless teens! This has been a fun and rewarding project!
Such wonderful colors! They remind me of the ocean I visited just the other day. Thank you for hosting this giveaway every month. This year, I am finishing a layette for a very special baby and knitting a blanket for another little one. I have plans to finish shawls and a sweater for myself, create Knitted Knockers and Chemo hats for others. Scarves, cowls and more shawls are also on the list. Yes, I carry my knitting with me wherever I go. So much knitting, so little time… Happy Holidays to All!
Because I have developed arthritis in my hands, I can only take on smaller projects: cowls, shawls, scarfs, knitted toys, etc. I won’t let this condition stop me from the pleasurable act of putting needles and yarn together, because for a short time, knitting takes my mind off of it.
I plan to start my first shawl in the new year, as well as making some tunics for my granddaughter. Thank you!
I always have more projects going and planned than I can get done. With the beautiful yarn above, I would share with our charity knitting group. That yarn would make beautiful scarves, hats, etc., for the women and children in our local women’s shelter.
This will be the year of the sweater. I started knitting last year and have gotten more adventurous with each project. This year I plan to make at least one, but hopefully several, sweaters as well as a button-up wrap for my grandmother who is perpetually cold
I’m finally going to knit a sweater for myself. I’ve made sweaters for other people but not yet myself
In 2020, I would like to knit at least one sweater, besides that shawls and other smaller projects as comes to my mind..
I have no idea what I will be working on this year, but I always do two craft shows a year in October and December to get a little extra cash for Christmas. I know I’ll be making some things for them and most likely for others as well. Just mailed a baby blanket for the imminent arrival of a great, great neice! And who know what else will turn up needing something made with love?
I’m a knitaholic I knit every day on projects that give me joy. I’m up for trying new stitches and technics, hoping to learn something new nearly every day. Colour is also important, again the choice is what gives me joy at that time and this can change, I dont know why, but I guess it’s the colour that I need or crave to nourish my soul . I’ll be knitting large items and small items, I usually have possibly five projects on the go at any one time. Challenging projects that I work on when my brain is fresh and simplier ones perhaps for television knitting.. I knit for my seven year old granddaughter, my daughter and myself, also some charity knitting. I enjoy MKAL’s jumping into them as soon as I see them advertised. Sometimes friends will say, always with the prefix ‘ I don’t suppose you can ——‘. Anyway I’m looking forward to a knitting packed 2020 to keep me sane
Hi Chandi…… I almost always have several projects going at any given time. My family is currently addicted to handmade wash cloths, so I have been knitting and crocheting those. Great for practicing or learning new stitches! I have also started a new crochet project, which is a top called “Pinecones”. I try to spread my time out doing all things I love which include, spinning, weaving, knitting and crochet…..
Travel wrap!
The colors here are so lovely. They remind me of Monet’s water lilies!
I am a relatively new knitter. I’ve just tried my hand at two colors with your Whirlwind pattern – thanks so much for that! I hope to try a larger project in the coming year, like a shawl or two. Thank you!
I have knit all the scarves, cowls, and shawls I need. I’m ready to do something fitted. So, in Jan 2020, I will be taking a “1st pullover” class. I recently purchased your alpaca/silk DK for this project and made the swatch already. This fabric is absolutely gorgeous, I can’t wait to get started.
Plan to finish a midi vest and a couple of shawls currently otn. But then I plan to really dig in and do a cardigan or two. It’s been 20 years since I did one and I’m a much better knitter now so I know I can make one that I want to wear! 🤪. Happy Holidays!
Love those colors! I plan to spend 2020 on a variety of projects, including sweaters, scarves, shawls, and socks, Currently have a brioche scarf, a half linen stitch sweater and a doubleknit scarf scarf on the needles, along with a test knit shawl and socks, all of which will likely continue into 2020 for completion.
Cardigan for my adult daughter and shawls for others
Ooohhh! Just my colors! I have a knit and a crochet pattern for shawls waiting for me. And if I would win this luscious group of yarn, I would want to try my first sweater. Thanks for the opportunity and I appreciate your encouraging email messages.
I have friends who are huge blue hue knitters, but for some reason, I lean towards purples and pinks. These blues are persuading me to branch out. So far I have a double knit scarf, a silk shawl, and stranded mittens on my list for 2020.
Ohh these are so beautiful and my favorite colorway! The blue to green to tourquoise with the light and bright highlights makes my heart sing 🙂 I would be so blessed to win this!!!
Your yarns are beautiful and inspire thoughts of all that might be created with them…
I’m working on slippers for a family at the moment, along with finishing a cowl and have a shawl to start, and a number of other projects in the wings. I knit almost daily and love the creative process of creating useful, beautiful things with fibre.
Thank you for your generosity in your giveaways Chandi, it is most kind of you.
My 2020 Crochet Projects Include a Blanket I’ve Already Started… Some Socks… And I’m Not Sure What Else Yet. inspiration Hasn’t Come Yet For Many of the Gorgeous Skeins I’ve Got.
Hey! Chandi,
I love your yarn. Since I started using your wonderful yarn, I’ve made Christmas scarves, fingerless gloves with separator in there to keep hands warm. Since getting up in age, my daughter has asked for more things. with that pile of yarn, I would love to make a memorable blanket for her. Your generosity is great. I also want you to know that the inspirational notes are very inspiring and great to cheer one up.
My plans include making a couple of shawls, felted kitty toys and maybe a baby blanket or two. I’m sure some other projects will catch my eye as well.
I absolutely love the colors of this months giveaway. I am hoping to knit Christmas stockings for my family in 2020.
I’ve been making blankets lately. I’d like to get back to my shawls, use up some of my delicate yarns!
I don’t have anything scheduled for next year but I would love to knit at least 1 pullover sweater. Your yarn is lovely and thanks so much for the offer to win these beauties. You are a lovely soul.
I have a goal of learning to make socks.
Oh my goodness! So beautiful! Honestly I haven’t thought of 2020 projects yet. I am still trying to finish Christmas gifts!
Just want to swim in that gorgeous pooling of blues & greens – swoon!! Working on a shawl and socks 🙂
Absolutely love the color combo!
I plan on working on shawls and fingerless gloves!
I’m still in finish up all the current WIPs before the end of the year mode (not really going to happen, but trying not to cast anything on) so haven’t thought too much about 2020 knitting yet. But I’m thinking I need to make more sweaters.
In 2020 i have a sweater on my list. Don’t do wearables often – hate sizing something. Also, shawls and baby toys.
.
Thank you! Hoping to knit a few neck scarves and finish the lap blankets I started this year.sometimes I let the yarn sig for a while and it “tells” me wh as t it would like to become. BTW, can’t wait to see the clothing you have made so far. What a great idea to make everything you wear!
Oops…typo… I let it sit for a while and it tells me what it wants to become…
I have BIG knitting plans for 2020–going to knit more fair isle and try my hand at design.
I am working on the Laganà textured wrap and hope to finish sometime after New Years. Then I will be starting on the Worth wrap afterwards.
IN 2020 I hope to knit sweaters/cardigans and of course, more socks. Thank you for your generosity and wishing you a most joyous and healthy New Year with continued success in all that you do!
I’d like to finish the blanket I started. Unfortunately that means unraveling somewhere around 1000 yards of yarn as the edges had gone wonky without my noticing ;.; The curse of questionable crafting spaces strikes again
Hi Chandi,
I plan to finally tackle all my many works in progress and… finish them!!!
Wish me luck!
Thanks, as always, for your giveaways and free patterns,
Lynne
I love the blues! I would make a prayer shawl for my good friend.
I love the colours
My want to make list includes shawls, cowls
a sweater and cardigan and some baby items items for a new grandchild this spring
Oh and a nice cozy shrug
All your yarns are beautiful! Blues and purples are my favorite! Thank you for your generosity and free Friday patterns!!
Hi Chandi! I have another new baby grandson I am knitting for along with my 7 others…The girls are getting leggings and tutu’s for Christmas! I love your inspirational emails and look forward to them and your new yarns…
Those BLUE’s are gorgeous. I have a variety of things to knit on my list. Etude 6 is one of them.
Love the blue tones!! I’m hooked on making shawls and wraps. Never enough!
Oh my goodness! This collection was made with me in mind. It’s perfect. I have planned on making one sweater, a tee or tank top, several hats, a long open vest, and a few shawls. This is a busy knitting year coming up.
Oh, and I’ll be finishing two whips that I’m currently working on. Maybe I can finish one of them before the end of the end of the year
Maybe I will finally finish the vest I have been working on and a couple of cowls/scarves.
I am planning to create some of your shawls. I love the way you write your patterns so I want to try to make some more.
I would love to finish some projects I have not finished.
I’m a blue yarn addic! I plan to make a poncho this year – as soon as I find a pattern that has some style!
Yay! I’ve never entered a giveaway like this before, I’m so excited! This year, I plan on finishing my first ever knitted cardigan even though it’s summer around here… And for 2020, I’d like to make your gorgeous Dreamscape sweater. Thank you for your generosity and for this beautiful giveaway!
Ahh, Plans…I’m so terrible at them! Teehee I’ll be making more things for my GreatNiece, try to get an earlier start for Christmas next year and shawls too! 😉
I am making my almost three year old granddaughter a hooded sweater right now. Soft, deep purple for the body and variegated aqua for the trim.
Hats and mitts, a wedding blanket, baby blankets and tummy time mats, shawls and scarves…all good for yarn therapy time!
Socks and more sock and whatever hits my fancy in the moment!
2020 will be the year of making blankets. I look forward to making blankets from a particular designer as well as blankets I will create for people with intellectual disabilities living in group homes. I plan to also make blankets for patients that will be treated at a medical clinic for environmental illnesses. I live with Lyme disease and if it wasn’t for the good doctor caring for patients in that clinic,I have no doubt that I would not be alive today. It is time for the great pleasure of paying it forward by providing other patients with a little love and warm hug through the warmth of a handmade blanket. This may actually be a two years project. I will take it one day at a time. 🙏🙋🏻♀️🇨🇦
Soooooo, so pretty❣
I love how your yarn just shimmers! Beautiful colors that blend so well. I love cowls and shawls, and your scrumptious yarn would crochet up so nicely. Blessings.
A cropped sweater for my teenager
I am hoping to finish some of the lovelies I have started…as well as start some new beauties!! haha
I would absolutely love to try your beautiful yarn to make a small shawl to use lie a scarf. The colours you dye just look so amazing.
Shawls, cowls and scarfs is the way to go
Right now I’m working on a baby blanket. No babies in the family so I don’t know who this will go to but I love making them..
I have been playing with kite shawl designs. These wonderful blues would be gorgeous!
Thank you again for your generosity. I have several patterns from you and love the blues. I’m finishing a scarf for a charitable project and after that I’ll start on one of your beautiful shawls. Choosing which one will be difficult because I love all of them
I’m going to attempt a colorful mosaic blanket.
Beautiful colors..Thanks for t hff e vfc giveaway.
I plan to finish the sweater I started in late October, but had to put aside to finish spinning yarn for the Christmas gifts I also had to knit once done spinning…and my mom requested last minute for me to knit a new tree skirt for this year…so yea…thank GODS I LOVE knitting and spinning! ^____^ <3 <3 <3 I definitely have plenty more projects to finish up that I've started over this and last year XD LOL and I KNOW I'll find yet MORE projects to start before I finish those that still need completion XD LOL and not to mention all the fiber I still want to spin and eventually knit up as well XD YUP! PLENTY to keep me busy when I'm not at work! …but I also hope to FINALLY get back into the publishing world and FINALLY do that first children's book I've been itching to do since college almost 25 years ago XD…I'd worked for 7 years as a published comicbook artist 9 years ago before taking up knitting and spinning, having basically met my life's goal, so it's time now to meet another life's goal ^_^ <3 but of course, am sure I'll get COMPLETELY distracted with my need, want, addiction and love of knitting and spinning ^_^ <3
My 2020 plans include a few shawls, cowls, some hats and maybe even a mandala. I LOVE BLUES!! and greens! LOL Your yarn looks so fabulous!
You make it so very difficult to choose just one yarn or pattern, Thanks for all the lovely projects, looking toward 2020 with great anticipation!!
My plans for 2020 include teach my daughter to crochet and/or knit, knitting more color-work projects (hats, cowls, there are so many amazing patterns to chose from, this makes it very difficult choice!), crochet more than one project, knit socks. Thank you for the generous give-away! Good luck everyone!
Fingers crossed for my daughter, who is pregnant after 5 miscarriages. I haven’t started knitting yet, I don’t want to jinx anything. Once she is given the “all clear” the needles will be flying ! So much beautiful yarn Chandi ! It would be awesome to knit baby clothes, blankets, nursing shawl, and of course matching socks for mama and baby. ( Papa too, he has size 15 feet ! 😳) Thank you for your generosity every month ! 💕💕
I am looking forward to making sweaters and tops in 2020. I’ve made several in 2019…. and want to do more and more complex!
Currently making a sweater for myself (for a change) and have toys, slippers and blankets lined up for 2020 projects!
Thank you for all the inspirational quotes and your talent and generosity!
You are loved!
I have three sweaters that are “almost ” done to finish, and a huge coat project that is waiting for me.
Must finish all WIPS! After those are finished and sent off, I want to knit a sweater for me out of DK Alaska yarns. That’s my reward for having no WIPS.
I’m actually making a resolution to use up my yarn stash! It’s overflowing all the boxes and baskets, and it’s time to use it all~ My church started a prayer shawl ministry this year, so I think most of it will go there. However, I’m learning to crochet socks and amigurumi right now, so I hope to make more dimensional items!
I would like to make a blanket for my friend who recently lost a family member.
I have plans to knit a pair of knee socks this upcoming year I’ve been learning to knit on my own and also crochet tons of things . I love crocheting and knitting so far ( definitely harder skill to learn and longer process) but there’s something so satisfying about making something beautiful from yarn.
I have never done this before so watch out, world! I am knitting for no one else but me all year long! It’s my New Years Resolution. Well, I will knit a project for someone else if it excites me and it won’t take up too much of my time and energy. (I’ve already promised a beaded purse to my niece for her senior prom, but I love doing those, so it’s Okay.) I want to knit for me –what gives me joy, lightens my heart, and nothing that becomes a drag, a “I have to finish this” pain in the butt project. This is the Year of Knitting For Me!
Next year I want to make a couple of your shawl patterns and a scarf…so far. My eyes/brain definitely go crazy wild with ideas, especially seeing your lovely yarns and patterns. I wish I could knit more! I have a hard time realizing my time limitations in my ambition. Knitting is my favorite way to unwind, and I love making gifts for my special people. I absolutely love your quote on your giveaway entry…Out of difficulties grow miracles.” —Jean de la Bruyere. Thank you for the reminder!
I’ve got a couple of shawls planned, and I think I might finally give socks a go! 🙂
Dear Chandigarh… I love knitting anything lace. In the winter I concentrate on fingerless gloves with matching scarves and in the warmer months you will find me concentrating on lace shawls.
Omg, such beautiful things, just want to pile them up and cuddle among them. I wish, I wish, I wish.
I am still making mittens and blankets for the Kolas that have burned in the wild fires back home in Australia. I have a new granddaughter and a new great niece due next year so will making blankets for them. I am watching your videos on crochet and would love to make a blanket or shawl.
The blues are so beautiful! I make lots of shawls and I love to add beads!
WOW! My favorite color range for sure, just love anything with blues in it, including music! Fabulous selection of fibers Chandi….Love your yarns, they always knit up so nicely.
Thank you.
What a heavenly Christmas gift this would be!!! I have several of your shawl patterns and would adore making one (or more) of them with these gorgeous blues. Merry Christmas to you and Tim and much happiness during the Holiday season <3
Made your Ski Lodge Beanie last week. I’ve got a mohawk, so my head gets super cold during the winter. Anyway, absolutely Love your stuff. Keep up the great work. Thank you!
Wow..well, 2020 has three shawls, a woven blanket, two sweaters, a crocheted shawl, and about 3 pounds of fiber to be spun! It should be a busy and wonderful year! Any year with fiber in it, is a wonderful year!!!
Well, I learned to knit this year with the specific intention to knit socks. So far I have made a headband, a hat, 3 cowls, a scarf, a shawl…and only one sock. Not even a pair of socks! One. Sock. So for 2020, I definitely want to work through lots and lots of different sock methods until I find my sweet spot(s) there. But then there’s also the 3 new shawl kits I just ordered… 🙂
I
Am a novice knitter. I crochet as well. My 2020 goal is to concentrate on becoming a better knitter. I want to start with a simple shawl and work up to something thing more advanced. I’m truly excited about it!!!!
In 2020 I plan to knit a sweater scarves and hats
In my dreams!!
I want to make the Shusui Shrug.
Hats, Sweaters, anything that catches my eye 🙂
Dresses!!!!
Okay, so they’re big and looooooong, might only get one or two made but I’d love to achieve this. Thinking Sigyn for one of the girls and for me..well I have 3 options, Aibell(extend the length), Jasmine Flower Dress and/or NAMI dress.
On the novelty side I’d like to get stuck into a few more quirky softies for the ‘older kids'(wire framed etc).
On the charity side, get a few more items together to donate through the ACAN group on Rav. Those ladies rock!
I’m declaring 2020 the year of the sweaters!
In 2020, I want to see if I complete a wedding ring shawl and of course lots of other projects around it
Hi Dollface! I don’t have a set plan on what to work on in the upcoming year. I will just knit whatever calls to me. Probably some socks, a shawl or three and some children’s sweaters. Also some farm animals. Have a wonderful holiday!🎄🎄🎄
I am hoping this year to complete a shawl or scarf for each of my co-workers. I work with a friendly group of women who are so good to me even though I only work part-time and I just want to give something back to them. I am hoping to make something for each of them that will be beautiful and useful for them.
I plan on knitting some gorgeous shawls that I have in my ravelry library. Your yarns are fantastic.
My first January project is a baby blanket for my best friend’s grand-daughter who is expecting early March. After that is finished, it’s a shawl for myself. In the meantime, it’s frantic knitting of fingerless mittens, hats and socks for Christmas gifts.
I plan on working on some shawls for my friends/family. Your gorgeous colours are going to make choices difficult!
Chandi, besides the fact you are an angel in disguise, you, my dear girl have the parts in chutzpah which are so wonderful, of course and which so describes you to a T or should I say C!
This coming year, 2020, I shall attempt to knit socks again ~ due to arthritis in my fingers, I am having a real problem trying to even just join my knitting project in the round and it’s for Christmas. Yikes!
Best wishes to you and yours and a Happy New Year, too!
So much beauty! The world surely needs it!
Thank you. <3
I am planning a jumper for my man and a jumper for me…..and maybe one for grandson..
I’m bound and determined to make Fennmont…it’s been on my list for a while now. I also want to make the Palette shawl. And of course finish ALL my WIPs….mostly cowls, sweaters and heavier shawls. There’s an Afghan or two for good measure.
I want to make the Etude’s … at least the one that has the new stitch in it.
Oh the scarves and wrap to create such great colors
I’m hoping to finish up a shawl and cardigan that I have on the go, get some more work done on my hue shift afghan, and make the Falling Stars sweater.
I plan to knit a sweater along with socks for all my kids & grandkids
Love the colors of your yarn. They are amazing. I want to knit a large afghan for my granddaughter. She loved the one I knit for our grandson. Thank you so much.
Eager to get back to knitting socks; and want to challenge myself to crochet a pair as well, to build confidence with a crochet hook!
Definitely a few shawls, socks and baby items. I hope to make my first adult sweater for myself.
Blues are my favourite, I would love to knit or a crochet a long granddad style shirt dress with plenty of drape
I’m all about new techniques and yarns this year. I want to make a few more sweaters since I wear these types of knits more frequently.
My first project would be to lie on the floor & luxuriate in that sea of blues! Next I would like to knit a spring shawl from all those shades of blue.
So gorgeous. My blue and green colorway fave.
Planning to finish a blanket and knit some more shawls for 2020.
Gorgeous colours – blues and teals are my favourites!
Next year I have a few shawls planned and I would love to make some more garments like tops and cardigans.
I want to try either the Palette or Brushing Stars shawls – they are so beautiful!
Charity items for my local hospital. Then blanket for one of my nephews. A sweater or poncho for me maybe!
I am DETERMINED, in 2020, to make myself a few sweaters to wear!
I have made everything from hats down to socks, and also baby blankets. I enjoyed all of it! In 2020 I will make at least one hat, cowl, sweater, shawl, maybe a vest, mitts, and maybe leg warmers this year. Most of the items go to family, but I make something for myself in between projects.
I am going to knit both your Sevenknit and Shala sweaters. I’ve already purchased the yarn for them, I just have to finish 2 other WIP’s, to clear some needles.
In 2020 I plan on working on some amazing shawl patterns as well as a sweater or two. Always have a pair of socks on my needles!
Thanks for having your contests!
Love all the blue colors, my favorite. I need to make afghans for 2 granddaughters, but I’d also like to make some of your crochet patterns that I have for myself.
Baby stuff! Just found out I’m going to be a grandmother!
I will be working on hats, scarves, wraps, and am hoping to have enough done to sell some things at a local craft fair!
Thank you for the opportunity to win some gorgeous yarn!
I’m looking forward to knitting something for ME! something with colorwork. I also want to learn brioche
I agree with Carol, multiple projects, multiple needles and what ever catches my eye. My specific projects are an Afghan for my grandson, an intricate lace shawl and to finish my stacked stitches shawl.
Shawls and scarves are my faves, I also plan to make hats for friends, and a dress for my 18 mo old grand daughter. The blues in this collection are gorgeous.
What pretty pretty colors! I’m thinking a shawl is on the upcoming projects list, but there’s still a lot of time to change my mind too!
I can’t even decide. I love all the colors so much. I hope to make a shawl in 2020 and learn to knit better
I want to knit a pair of socks that fit properly, and expand my crochet skills. By “expand,” I mean actually complete a project!
Hope to find and knit the perfect shawl for my son’s September Wedding.
Your emails are beautiful, uplifting and full of kind spirit. Thank you.
Hi Chandi,
I’m making two Etude shawls one for each sister this year and if i get time, one of your beautiful shawls for me as well. Your yarns are so beautiful. Thank you for the lovely patterns you share with us. Merry Christmas xx
I NEED to finish a bunch of WIPs that include 2 prs of socks, 2 sweaters, 2 scarves, 3 shawls, and a mitered squares blanket.
Ah, blues. My favourites. I’ll make one of your easy shawls to keep the chill off on my cruise up the west coast to Alaska this summer.
<3 Thank you for your inspiring posts, instagram videos and beautiful yarn!!!
I like to have a couple projects going at once. 2020 I will continue crocheting a throw blanket. Definitely will knit a couple pairs of socks and mittens. Possibly a cowl or two. Currently trying finish my first stuffed animal, a fox!
In 2020 I will get the Oxblood yarn that I bought from you and make the Celosia Dolmain jumper. However the yarn needs to be put into a centre pull ball which I need help from my local wool shop that have a swift. Love all your yarn and watching your videos keep up the good work.
I would like to try my hand at making a crochet Mandela Circle vest, but if I’m being realistic I will most likely have multiple projects all happening at once 😉
I love all of your yarns!! I plan to knit a sweater for myself now that the Christmas gifts are getting finished. I will do a couple of your shawls and really want to dive into knitting lace. Thank you for all of the inspiration.
Socks for myself but I would like to consider a bigger project for myself, prehaps a jumper or cardigin.
Always knitting when it is possible. I have a busy job and need the rythem of the needles to relax. 2020 planning? Be more impulsive with my knitting. So actually no specific plans, finish what is started and make what I like best.
I am hoping to finish the Curl I am working on. It is almost done for the second time. Perhaps I’ll block and finish it this time. After that I have about 6 other projects planned out.
I make alot of socks, but my big project of the year will be a scarf to go with my new coat!
I’m currently planning a Night Out Cardigan, and 2 cable cardigans for the kid let’s in my life, and a couple baby things- blanket sweater & hat for a friend expecting.
I love your encouraging and uplifting emails! I look forward to them. Thankyou for your cheerful updates, and all the glorious colour you create. So many beautiful combos. And these blues are so gorgeous. I’d love to knit a glorious huge wrap from them!
Wow, I have a lot on mind. A few projects to get on with, finishing up my knitted shawl, finishing up my crochetted Dragonbelly shawl. I have a lot of beautiful yarns I want to use up so I always check on your tutorials to get inspirations. 😀
All the warm and soft things! Scarves, hats, blankets galore
Chandi
I hope to crochet more for my home and self. ❤️
I am a charitable maker handicrafter of yarn and other mediums. I enjoy being blessed by the beauty of creating. Praying while I crochet an item, to bless the receiver. I hope to take on a larger project such as a sweater or jacket for myself. Possibly a large spread or coverlet as well. I want to brush up my Tunisian crochet skills for I’ve seen several bloggers posts lately
Be blessed,
Peace
I just want to crochet all the things! And knit more socks! Beautiful yarn!
I love all the beautiful blues, so some kind of wrap or shawl
My plans for the coming year include the free patterns I got from you recently. This Falll I made my first crochet cardigan of which I am very proud of so I plan on making another one of those. I wanted to thank you for a recent email from you on Thanksgiving. How refreshing to read a message of positivity instead of hearing all the negativity we hear everyday. Wouldn’t it be a better world if everyone made the effort to spread the love? Anyway, thank you for that.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. 🎄💕🧶
I don’t really have specific plans for things to make, but someday I want to learn to make socks, learn to knit better (I crochet), and make a more intricate sweater like all the gorgeous cabled and fair aisle ones I see! Thank you for the monthly giveaways!!
Wow, those blues and greens just touch my soul! Color is definitely linked to emotion!!
I want to start designing in 2020! I can’t ever find a pattern that both showcases the beautiful variegated and speckled yarns you create and that I would find useful.
I would like to crochet a garment (top, sweater, or cardigan) with a really nice yarn, sometthing that I will be proud to wear for a nice occasion.
Beautiful colors to work with and so many ideas for them?
I’m all about fingerless gloves, scarves/shawls, and socks and slippers. Plans to make these in 2020. Patterns located and some of my own in the works.
Thank you for such beautiful yarn and inspiration and patterns.
Oh WOW!!!!! Look at all those beautiful blues and hues! I would knit a shawl, a hat, cricket a shal and a wrap and then knit a lapghan and finally ear warmers. I can see so many beautiful things made with these yarns and colors.
Thank you Chandi for being the beautiful soul you are.
2020 will be the Year of the Shawl and Also Finishing My UFOs. 😀 So many projects. So little free time…
Always such beautiful colors 😉
I want to get my socks going. I have been practicing with blankets, scarves, etc., but am still intimidated by socks. I love knitting in the round so I’m not sure my problem, but… My husband calls me a yarn collector, since I see so many projects I want to do and buy the yarn to do them, Just need to get to work but life keeps getting in the way. (~ : I love your yarn!!
In 2020, I hope to work on many of the same types of projects (socks, blankets, hand towels, dish cloths, hats, mittens…) and I am hoping to learn how to do Tunisian crochet.
Beautiful blues! I’m planning on knitting several shawls, some scarves for the Christmas at Sea program, a sweater for my grandson and some baby items.
Love these colors. Anything in the blue/green family makes me happy. I am just getting back into knitting after being away from it for a while because of arthritis issues. I want to make some fingerless mitts and a shawl/wrap. Your yarns are gorgeous.
Blues and greens – just my colors! In addition to the sweaters and cardis on my to-knit list, I’ve just gotten a little mini-loom so that in 2020 I can try out weaving and see if I like it enough to get into that as well.
Ive always been interested in learning how to crochet. I started about 3yrs ago now to teach myself & Ive been utterly obsessed with it ever since. With the internet at my finger tips I had help from YouTube tutorials & Crochet Blogs..Within a year I could even read & follow diagrams – everything seem to click so easily, I couldn’t get enough. Receiving your emails gives me so much gracious support & inspiration to this whole new world of crochet – almost like a superhero with a crochet hook in hand ready to create!! 😏🤭😂 In 2020 I plan to tackle some tapestry crochet projects but first & foremost I wanted to make a boho style dress – would be my very first dress to make 😊
I’m loving the giveaway-
I love all shades of blue 💙💙💙
I can only imagine all the beautiful scarves/shawls/cowls I can knit or weave with this beautiful collection!
Hi Chandi, I follow you for 3 years. I love all your work, your yarn is spectacular with gorgeous and brilliant colors. I like to read your messages, I feel I know you,you are so friendly, cheering.Reading your sweet words make my day more comfy. I love your inspiring quotes and I share them with my friends. I love to crochet hats, scarfs, baby clothes. I know how to knit a little bit but I want to learn your way of knitting, I need to practice more.Blue is my favorite color and I’d love to make a sweater for myself, since I always do for others. Thank you for all your work you share and for being kind and sweet soul. <3
Oh the colours in this giveaway are glorious! I have a lacey shawl on the needles right now, in a bamboo fibre. I also plan to knit my daughter one of your lacey cotton top patterns soon (it’s summer here right now). Have a wonderful festive season xxx
I will be making socks, hats and shawls. All cozy things for the winter!
I will be making more hats and scarves for friends and loved ones. I need to make some more fingerless mitts for myself as well, but who knows if I’ll get to that before it’s too warm again!
I plan on continuing to work through my Ravelry queue, which never seems to get any smaller. I guess I should stop adding to it but wait, shiny! And I want to knit alll the things!
Cordial greetings from the Netherlands😊! I learned to knit thanks to your tutorials. I love your creations! I can follow your pattern description well, so I have developed more crochet skills. Hope to crochet / knit many of your patterns in 2020.
I just finished dying my hair these colors! 😀
Practicing my knitting with some simple garter stitch slippers at the moment (and to try to stash-bust a bit) before I delve into my very first sweater.
I’m working on hats and scarves for everyone in my family. I love your tutorials and your yarn is gorgeous!
I am always picking projects that challenge myself so will continue in 2020. Wow! The give away color is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for your generosity.
I plan to do at least one knit along. I would Like to do the Wine country 7-in-one pattern.
Ahhhhhh! I know November’s winner! She’s so excited about the yarn. This month’s batch of blues is so pretty! I’d be blessed to win this!
This year I hope to knit baby things for a new grandchild, a few pairs of socks for my husband, hats for charity, a sweater for myself and slipper socks for the whole family for next Christmas. Your colours are gorgeous!
In 2020, I plan on broadening my horizons with projects and I want to make larger, more complex projects instead of small amigurumi. I’m a little young but I love yarn and if I won all this yarn it would make my year haha.
I don’t know if this will show how young I am but whenever I see your emails, I’m like, Chandi is such a queen
Love love love knitting!!! I love Christmas and plan on knitting projects even after Christmas for next years gifts. Working with “North Pole” color for shawl, love love love it! Would like to do Christmas colors with mixture of blues. And I love the old fashion Christmas colors.
Absolutely gorgeous colors in December giveaway! I’d be crazy not to want to win all that yummy yarn. In the coming year I want to finish the shawl I’ve been working on through a tedious move. I also want to figure out and finish a bunch of other projects that include designing the patterns. And, if there is still time, I want to knit a couple of the lovely patterns I’ve gotten from you. Since most of my knitting is done while riding in the car, will I be able to do it all in a year? We’ll see. If I were to win this scrumptious yarn bundle, I’d have to sidetrack everything and play with it almost first! All your fault! Thanks for the chance to be so sidetracked.
Hi Chandi, Your inspiring quotes make me feel that I can create anything and they are so uplifting.!
One of my goals for 2020,is to be knitting shawls and wraps as well as blue Hats for the Hat not Hate campaign.

I plan to finish knitting my Selkie cape and knit the second sock of my Water for Elephants pattern.
Love your patterns and yarn. Your tutorials are so easy to follow. But like everyone else, there is so much yarn but so little time. It’s hard to decide which pattern to try next. I think it will be the Worth pattern since I have never tried the linen stitch before. Wish me luck!
Awesome! Good luck!
I am going to knit my first hat project from one of the patterns I received from Expression Fiber Arts. I also plan to with knit matching yarn a scarf and par of fingerless gloves (patterns from Chandi as well).
I am on the 3rd section of the rene wrap crochet. Almost complete! I am going to try a knit cowl next the twist I think. Thank you for the amazing give away!
I am enjoying your beautiful patterns and tutorials! Since my first love is crochet I plan on challenging myself this coming year with learning how to knit.
The color selections you have are stunning and I look forward to seeing them, and using your patterns.
Gorgeous giveaway this month! Looks like sinking into the ocean! Thank you for your generous spirit and fun videos!
I would like to make “Teal Tenacity” and “Serenity Springs” AND “Cirrus”

Thank you Chandi for sharing your awesome work and patterns.
I am planning on finishing a enormous granny square quilt for our oldest daughter who is working on her doctorate. Hope I’m done first Lol ;))
Those colors though!!!! 💚💛💜💙🧶💙💚! I’m hoping to work on as many yarn related projects as I possibly can in the foreseeable future. I still have to jump on the brioche train as well as learn a few other skills.
❤️🧶❤️
❤️🐸
I was so crushed when I did the KAL and my MIO didn’t turn out perfect that I quit knitting. The neck is tight instead of loose. One arm is a little tighter than the other. And it hangs to my knees. But I learned so much and had a lot of fun in the process. And then I got the complete set of ChiaGoo needles as a Christmas present. And my basket of gorgeous EFA yarn has started calling my name again. Now I can’t decide between a flowing wrap or a chunky blanket.
I’ve got a few sweaters I’m itching to get on my hook and I need to find the perfect baby gift, since I recently got the good news that my cousin is expecting a bundle of joy! 😀
Beautiful Colors of the Yarn. I love the cool colors.
I just ordered a scarf kit for beginners! I am so excited! I am already eyeing other colors of yarn for scarves to knit as gifts for next Christmas! <3
Hi Chandy, hope you’re fine 😊
Since a couple of month I make cosy things like scarfes, hats and socks for our homeless poor people here in my city.
For the new year I would love to make a sweater for my mother and me (we are best friends) 💞
I love your yarns, it’s more than beautiful, so I would be very happy to win all this stunning blues 🍀💙🍀
Thank you for your generousity, god bless you ❤
Hi….i never completed a blanket…so i like to go with it..
I made a heap of projects this year, including a French Cancan shawl, the Surburban Wrap, Smaug mittens, Hue shift afghan, and a Truffle hat. I’m gearing up to attempt the Celestarium shawl in 2020, and am very nervous about it.
Shawls and Amigurumi will be my main maker focus. Being responsible, mostly in the scheduling and time management area, is my personal goal.
I would like to try to make your Geode cowl.I love it. And also I d like to start to knit some toys. Friend of mine makes them and they are really lovely.
