i like spring because the water in the goats’ buckets is not frozen, and it is no longer 10 below when i have to go out in the zam to feed them.
After being cooped up inside all winter, I love being able to get back outside & see everything starting to grow & bloom.
I love spring because the weather is the perfect balance between hot and cool! It’s the best and most beautiful time to go out and ride a bike or hike.
My favorite things about spring include the weather warm up, the flowers blooming and their beautiful hues, getting back on the tennis courts with my squad, and lastly being able to sit outside with my cat and enjoying the wind.

Summer has also been my favorite time of year but as I get older, I’m starting to appreciate spring more. The time of new beginnings. Things start blossoming and becoming beautiful again. The greens and all the colors of the flowers. Get hints of the warmth that summer is going to bring. I guess that’s why I’m starting to like it more and more.

What I love about Spring is the new life. Not only are the plants and flowers showing their new growth, but the animals get randy and start producing new life as well. It is amazing to see a momma chicken sitting on her eggs and hatching out adorable little chicks. The wild bunnies on our property start taking their new fuzzy babies out to graze in the sunshine. The days start getting longer and I can get more done in the yard. It’s really something internal too. I just feel more alive and excited about what the future will bring. You really have to stop, slow down, see the beauty of the colors and sounds around you. Have you seen the movie The Color Purple? I love where Shug says, “I think it pisses God off when you walk by the color purple in a field and don’t notice it.”? There you go. We need to take notice.

I live in the woods. I love watching my 7.4 acres coming alive with flowers and critters! The hill is about to be pink with azaeleas now and wexve spotted the first toad, a tree frog, and a nest of baby anoles. Seeds for the garden are getting started. New life. Life waking up. It’s amazing.

I love springtime as we witness the awakening of life on earth. I love the smells, the colours, the warmth, the birds and the music. The sight of a robin on grass, geese coming home by the thousands, mothers and fathers taking their babies for a first stroll as well as young people driving with their windows down and the music blasting are all sure signs that spring has arrived to where I live. On a personal level, I live in Canada known for its cold and snowy winters. I am a person with mobility impairments relying on a wheelchair. I live inside during the winter. Thanks to my passion for beautiful yarns and crochet, I get through the winters. Spring means that I will be able to go outside more easily. I continue to live and breathe my love of yarns but my choices of colors may change and be more inspired by spring’s beauties.

Spring is my favorite season of the year. I love spring because everything is fresh, new, and the spring flowers are so beautiful after a cold bleak winter. Just the freshness of everything is so wonderful and beautiful.

I love spring because even after the coldest winter, the nature comes back to life, and it’s so beautiful! It reminds me to stay strong and never forget: even if the night is long and dark, there is a morning, and the sun will shine again in my life, and I will be reborn, just like nature in spring. I love when the trees bloom, all the bees are working hard and there are so many shades of purple, pink, blue and green.

Here in the desert one of the first signs of spring (other than the blasted wind!) is the golden blanket of poppies. I love the poppies! It’s also when the Bataan Memorial Death March takes place. An incredible event.

When I see the buckets hanging from the maple trees to catch sap to make maple syrup, I know Spring is coming to Vermont. I love all shades of green in early Spring. The shimmer of browns at the cusp of spring when it rains, the shiny sidewalks under a spring rain, the tips of trees sending shoots, the bulbs, the seeds with so many shapes.
Spring in the southern Arizona desert can be so short lived before the heat of “summer” begins that it sometimes seems like it’s only a couple of weeks long. Sometimes we have spring like weather in February (which is always appreciated!) when the rest of the country is still suffering with below freezing weather. I love hiking through the desert and witnessing all the cactus and plants start to bloom – some of the flowers and colors are breathtaking!
I love watching the new flowers come up, the trees get their new leaves, and the smell in the air – everything is so new and fresh!
I love the smell, as you take in a deep breath you can smell the changes of the wind and how the Earth is waking up. The subtle daily change in the wind direction. There’s still a chill in the air but, in the winds of change you can feel warmth.

We have had a cold, snow-piled last few months. Day before yesterday there was rain, yesterday there was brown earth showing, and today the cardinals and red winged blackbirds are calling, and the robins are back, pulling stuff out of the ground! This is the beauty of spring in SE Wisconsin. The peeking crocus can’t be far off now.
There is more light now and the birds are returning. Spring means I will soon be able to eat outside while watching bees on the Wegelia:)

The crisp fresh smell…here in Phoenix you don’t get to see to much of flowers blooming…but if you are lucky and in an open area, you might catch a cactus blooming a beautiful huge pink flower. Or if you are driving on the freeways, you will get to see the bright pink, or red boginvilla bushes lining on the 60 or the 101!

When I spent Spring in Europe, a few years ago, I was fascinated in seeing them blossom everywhere, even in the middle of the grass. I had never seen flowery grass before! But things will change from this year on: my nephew will be born this Spring!

our long hours of daylight are back and I can sit by the big windows in the early morning hours watching and listening to the birds while I knit and sip tea.
Purples are my granddaughter, daughter and daughter-in-laws favorite colors. I could knit everybody something that they loved. Oh, I how I wish I could knit faster. So many breathtaking colors!!!
I so love Spring because of the colors and beautiful blooms all over. In my back yard, there are tiny little flowers (most people call it a weed). The tiny flowers have 5 soft lavender petals and a tiny yellow center. One tiny bloom is smaller than a baby’s little fingernail. There is beautiful all around us, if we have eyes to see it.

I like spring because I can breathe again after a season of worrying about my lungs.
I love nature waking up: the leaves on the trees, green grass, flowers blooming.
I love how renewing spring is. The snow melts,the sun shines more often here in MI, the rain washes away the salt & grime. The birds come back and sing their beautiful songs. The trees and flowers bud. I love spring!
Spring brings flowers and i cannot get enough of the colours. And of course the reduced cold.
I love watching everything co.e back to life during spring. My favorite plant near my home is my neighbor’s lilac bush, because it smells as beautiful as it looks! I also enjoy gardening when I have the time.

What I love about spring–especially in NORTH CAROLINA–is the fact that I and my family can enjoy the outdoors before all the mosquitoes come out to bite! And of course, all of the beautiful yellows and purples everywhere. Daffodils are my favorite flowers, and I have at least six different varieties planted around my yarn to delight with beauty and sweet smells.

This is my first ever posted comment but I love Spring and the colors you have chosen. They really reflect the subtle first signs of Spring here where I live on the Northern California Coast. Soft slightly creamy lavender Rue Anenomes are one of the first flowers and just this week the Purple Queen of Madera has started to bloom along the edge of Tomales Bay.
Spring is here.. Though here in Denmark the rain is pouring down.
But now it’s time for sun; green leaves and smiling people😆

The thing I love the most about spring is watching the world wake up from sleepy winter. Everything seems to come alive with color and you start seeing animals again. The trees get all the leaves back and make it wonderful to sit by a tree in the shade and enjoy all the new life all around you!
I love to see the little buds starting to open on the trees and flowering bushes.
Spring is my favorite season, there is so much to love. The smell, the rain that washes away all the salt stains from winter and brings us the beautiful flowers. But my favorite is the 1 or 2 days when all the trees look like they are shrouded in a pale green mist as all the new buds come out.

While Calgary Alberta often still has snow till April, the animals have already begun to come out more and there is birdsong and squirrels chittering. I adore the fuzzy purple crocuses what will soon be poking out of the snow!
My favorite parts of spring are when the hills turn a beautiful lush green, and wild mustard and cherry blossoms border our little highway going out of town.
What I love about spring is the return of birds. Just yesterday morning, I heard the mourning dives for the first time in months.

I always loved seeing the pansies in our garden at the start of every spring. Winter stays for a long time where I grew up, and often the pansies would bloom and then immediately be dumped on with snow. They’re tough little things, and would soldier on through the intermittent snow. I always knew that spring had sprung when the pansies would start to flower 🙂
I love Spring because of the budding trees and flowers. I also love the sound of the birds chirping when I wake up in the morning. The ducks are also returning to our pond, so my grandbabies will be chasing “duckies” everywhere.

Well where I come from we are heading into Autumn (Fall?) but when Spring arrives, just seeing everything start to come back to life after the cold months is so nice to see. Everything is fresh and new.

I love the lace-look of the trees when the leaf buds just barely start to open. Especially in rain, the trunks & branches are that deep, dark, earthy brown. The light, chartreuse green lace lines every twig & branch. New life is finally, FINALLY coming!

Here in Southern California, we pretty much have a mild spring every winter. But when the spring months come around, I love seeing my flowers start to open and the trees in my yard start to bloom with their little buds. The beautiful ocean is so calming the spring, too.
