I wanted to be a teacher & a mother. I never became a teacher, but I did become a mother of 3 beautiful children. My love for yarn started over 50 years ago!

Love knitting and crocheting! At age15 I watched my 30 yr. old sister create magic with her needles and an array of fabulous colors of yarn. Each creation was a masterpiece. She patiently taught her sister what would become a lifetime of passion where both encountered shear bliss in creation.

Back then, when I grew up I wanted to be Cinderella!

Two things I wanted to be as a child – Dr. Doolittle (so I could be the best vet in the world!) or a Marine Biologist. I ended up being a Pharmacy Technician and then a Medical Secretary instead..🤷🏻‍♀️

I have always loved learning a new skill. I was fortunate to have a mom who was also skilled with handwork. She taught me knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing. After I learned the basics, I was able to teach myself many advanced skills. I’m still learning.

When I was young I wanted to be a cop. Instead I became a firefighter. I love both professions. However; after being hurt on a structure fire 4 years ago…I am now a full time crocheter.
