Here’s an easy pattern for you on how to knit a headband.
It’s shown for an adult size head, but you can adjust it to fit any head size. I show you how in the video.
You’ll need worsted weight yarn (I used one skein of Sterling Silver Pearlescent Worsted) and size US 9 needles (5.5mm).
Also, grab a darning needle!
This makes a great last-minute gift as you can whip one out in a jiffy!
.
If you prefer to download an actual written pattern, you can do so here.
Let me know what you think in the comments, dahling! I hope you enjoyed it!

Hi Chandi! THANK YOU for your amazing blog & you tube channel. I have tried & failed at knitting and was able to follow along and make a headband. Your gentle, patient teaching style is so helpful! I can’t wait to start another project, thanks for showing me that I can become a knitter !?
Hi Chandi,
Can I use this headband pattern with super chunky yarn?
You sure could. I would just make sure you get gauge first.
You amaze me as a new knitter! Love ,Love , Love! I am trying the Chocolate Diamonds Cowl now!
Thanks so much for your inspiration!
