Hi, I'm Chandi! I'm a self-professed lover of all things yarn. I'm an avid knitter, crocheter, wool dyer, fleece and roving spinner and occasional felter! I offer beautiful, inspiring, hand-painted
yarns and deliver the best of all yarn-related tutorials I can on my
blog.
When I was young, I wanted to be a dancer or a stewardess or a nurse. Then, by the time I was 18, I wanted to get married and have babies. So, I got married and had babies… then I got divorced and raised those babies on my own with no child support. I got married again only to realize that if you want to live your dreams you must work towards them before you think about marriage. Now, I am 61 and the only things I love about my life are my daughters and sometimes husband #2. If you are young reading this, and before you complete something, ask yourself whether or not you may wish that you could change this action when you are older. Life is what you make it!!!
When I was young, I wanted to be a ballerina. We moved around so much that dance classes just weren’t possible. As a teenager, I wanted to be a rock singer. That fact that I couldn’t sing never seemed to dine that ambition. Lol. I started college at 36 and now have a bachelor’s in fine arts. Now, at 63, I’m still an artist and have the most wonderful man in my life.
